- Craig: We're at the point in the year where starts and sits are very important in your fantasy football lineup. Today we're taking a look at the week four starts and sits. Welcome back to Fat Daddy Sports. My name is Craig, and today we're looking at who you should start and who you should sit here in week four. Starting with the Thursday night game, this is an absolute banger. I can't believe we are being blessed with such a top-notch matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns. Real football-wise, I think it probably will be a pretty good brinded out type football game for fantasy football. Yuck. I don't want any part of this. Either offense, I am staying clear of most of these guys. We'll jump right in right now. Looking at the Pittsburgh side of things, I'm obviously sitting Aaron Rodgers, ⁓ Rico Dowdle. Keep an eye on that injury as of the recording of this video right now. We don't know a whole lot. It's not looking great. He hasn't practiced. ⁓ but as you're watching this, maybe he's back to practice. Maybe he's ready to go. Jalen Warren had a huge game three or week three game with Rico Dowdle out. I expect the same. I expect the same usage if Dowdle is out. So keep an eye on that. If Dowdle is back, I still probably lean towards starting Jalen Warren. I think that the Steelers probably saw what they needed to see. And I I expect Rico Dowdle to start getting phased out a little bit there, but I never quite trust a Mike McCarthy offense when it comes to running backs in fantasy football. So definitely keep an eye on that. DK Metcalf, Michael Pittman, I don't want any part of. I know Metcalf's getting some targets, but it's not turning into a whole lot. I don't want any part of that. I don't want Pat Fryermouth. Looking over to the Cleveland side of things, Deshaun Watson is a sit for me. Quinshawn Judkins, I guess, is a low end RB two if you need it. ⁓ he hasn't really blown me away this year, but if you need it, he's there. You could start him. Denzel Boston, Casey Concepcion. I love the talent. I love what they're going to be in the NFL. I just don't necessarily love them in this matchup or really this year at all. I'm sitting them and then Harold Fannon Jr., we will start him and hope for a touchdown out of him. Over to the Sunday morning game. The Colts and the Commanders. Daniel Jones, we are sitting him. Jonathan Taylor will start. Josh Downs, I think if you need a flex play, I think he could be a very valuable flex play, getting a lot of targets and I think that he can beat this secondary of the commanders. So I'm fine starting him in that flex play. Keenan Allen, I'm sitting, but I'm keeping an eye on. I want to see it in back to back weeks from him. He had a good week three, but I want to see it again this week before I feel comfortable throwing him into that flex. Tyler Warren, you're obviously starting him. Over on the Washington side of things, Marcus Mariota, we're sitting. Bill Krosky Merritt, we're sitting. Rashad White injured as of right now. They just signed Austin Eckler, so probably not a real good sign there. I'm sitting all the running backs there for Washington and then Terry McLaurin and Stephon Diggs. I'll start both of them as low-end wide receiver twos and flex plays, hoping for a touchdown out of both of those guys if you have them in your lineup. To the Titans and the Ravens, we are sitting pretty much the entire Titans team, with the exception of Tony Pollard. He is a low-end RB two for me. He just gets so much work that I think. Maybe he could break one, get into the end zone, fall into the end zone. And where you drafted him, you probably have to start him as a flex play or an RB two even. And there's just been so many injuries around the league so far. If you need to start Tony Pollard, you certainly can. I am not like actively trying to start Tony Pollard though. On the Baltimore side of things, quite the opposite. I want every piece of that offense that I can get. Say Flowers keep back last week was very limited and still put up a very, very good day. And even with him in there, Rashad Bateman put up some decent numbers. So if you need to start Bateman, you can start Bateman. But everybody else on that offense, I am starting them with a lot of confidence. To the Patriots and the Bills, this one could be a very, very fun ⁓ NFC East. NFC East, what in the world am I talking about? This could be a very fun division matchup here, division rivalry. ⁓ Drake May has looked like dog poop. I have him in multiple leagues, including Dynasty, and I don't want to start him at all. He has looked very, very bad. Maybe this is the week that he gets it turned around and gets things going, but just with the lack of weapons there on that offense, I don't think it's probably going to be. Although I do think that the Bills defense can definitely be passed on. He's gonna go off on my bench. I'm not starting Drake May. Ramondre and Trevion, I don't know what the deal is there. They're both getting carries. They're both not looking very good. I'm staying away from them unless I absolutely have to start them. Romeo Dobbs, Mac Hollins. I know that Hollins had a good week three, but I just can't trust it. I am sure one of those wide receivers is going to have a good game because I don't think that the Bills' defense is very good, but I don't know who to start there, so I'm gonna look for other options. ⁓ Hunter Henry, same thing. Yeah, he's up and down, mainly down this year. On the Buffalo side of things, again, quite the opposite. Josh Allen, obviously starting him, keep an eye on that knee injury as of the recording of this. We still don't know a whole lot about it. James Cook, you're starting. DJ Moore, you're starting. And then Shakir and Coleman are sitting down this week. And Dalton Kincaid, you're starting. I think that. Kincaid and DJ Moore are gonna flip-flop weeks on who has the big week. But both of those guys definitely need to be started everywhere every single week. Over to the Jets and the Bears, New York's looking pretty competent so far in the year. ⁓ maybe not a great defense or a great offense, but a pretty serviceable offense. ⁓ Geno Smith, still not quite where I want to start him, but if I'm in a pinch and I need a start, definitely a bi-week fill-in this week. I'm probably not going to start him, even though I don't think that the Bears defense is that great and you can definitely pass on them. I'm going to sit him this week. ⁓ Brees Hall obviously has that injury. ⁓ Braylon Allen, as long as Brees Hall is out, I'm starting Braylon Allen every single week. Garrett Wilson is a start. Adnai Mitchell, if he's back, or starting him, and then Kenyon Sadiq, how do you bench him after that big week? I will say temper your expectations with Kenyon Sadiq. If Adnai Mitchell is back, obviously Sadiq had that big game when Mitchell was out. So I want to see both of them out there and see that cohesion with Wilson, Mitchell, and Sadiq all out there together. But if I have any of those three, I'm starting them. Obviously, Garrett Wilson, I'm starting every week. But the other two, ⁓ we'll see how it goes. But I think you're probably okay to throw them in that lineup. ⁓ the Jets should be down in this game and should need to pass quite a bit down the stretch. We might get some garbage time points. Caleb Williams still out with that injury. I don't know if it'll be Tyson Bajent. Obviously, Case Keenum looked very good in week three. Maybe he'll get the start again over Bajent, but I'm sitting all Bears quarterbacks in this one. I don't really want to start any of them. And I think you probably have a better option anyway. DeAndre Swift will start Monungay. I guess if you need him as a flex start, you could throw him in there. He's kind of disappointed the last two weeks. ⁓ and then Luther Burden. I I think, you know, week three. With Case Keenum in there, they made a very big emphasis early and often to get him the ball. If Keenum's in there again, I think you could start Burden with confidence. But if it's Bajant or if Caleb Williams is somehow back, ⁓ I'd be a little bit more leery to start him. Romadunze, they don't look like they want any part of him in their offense anymore. Khalif Raymond is apparently Megatron now. I don't know what's going on. But Roma Dunze, you probably have better options. So I would probably start them over Roma Dunze. And then Colson Loveland, you're gonna start him. You have to start him. He looked a little bit better in week three. They got him the ball more. Better days are ahead for him. That's all I can say. To the Jaguars and the Bengals, Trevor Lawrence is a start. Bashall Tootin's a start. Chris Rodriguez, I don't want any part of. I think that this is the Tootin show now. Brian Thomas Jr., I don't even know if he's worth rostering anymore. They don't really appear to want him having the ball anymore at all. This seems to be the Parker Washington and Jacoby Myers show. So I'll start Washington. Myers, I want to see it another week out of him. They really looked to get him the ball in week three. We'll see if that continues. And then Brenton Strange, we're gonna sit him as well. He's running a lot of routes, so keep an eye on him going forward. But right now, I just want Tootin and Washington and then Trevor Lawrence in that Jags offense. For Cincinnati, I want every part of that offense besides the gritty man Mike Cassitti. Mike Gasicki. Mike Gasicki kind of appears to be a week on, week off player. He had a good week last week. So I'm expecting him to have an off week this week. But everybody else, I'm firing up in that Cincinnati offense. Over to the Cowboys and the Texans. I want all Cowboys players right now. Jake Ferguson is a touchdown machine, apparently, all of a sudden again. ⁓ so we'll throw him into the lineup. And then on the Houston side of things, CJ Stroud, we're gonna sit Montgomery. I don't know what's going on. I thought he was a buy a couple weeks ago and now I don't know what to do. Maybe he's getting so cheap that you should buy him. I think better days are ahead for David Montgomery, but I want to see it. If you don't have a better option, I guess go ahead and sit him down. Woody Marks is a sit. Nico Collins, keep an eye on that hamstring injury. If he's active, you're obviously starting him. Xavier Hutchinson, I think, could be a flex if Nico is out. Has seen a lot of targets the last couple weeks with Nico out. I like the amount of targets that he's seeing. I'd like to see him do more with that, but I like the amount of targets. Same thing with Dalton Schultz. ⁓ didn't have a real big week three, but better days are ahead for him. I think that defenses are going to start to look to shut him down if Nico Collins is not out there. To the Cardinals and the Giants, Jacoby Brissett, Tyler Algier, our sits, Jeremiah Love. This is his backfield. You saw the breakout in week three, and it's only going to get bigger and bigger as the year goes on. Jeremiah Love is a start for me. Absolutely. Marv, see you later. Kick you to the curb. Michael Wilson with his 7,000 million targets. We're starting him this week. And then obviously Trey McBride is an animal. On the New York side of things, Jameis Winston, I assume, is the quarterback this week. Maybe it'll be JJ McCarthy. I don't know. I don't want any part of it. Scatabo, we'll start him. Leak neighbors and Isaiah Likely. ⁓ I I want to start both of those guys. Two guys I was very high on all offseason, but with that injury to Jackson Dart, it does not look good for those two guys. So if you don't have better options, you like gotta play him, I guess. But ⁓ I would certainly be looking for something else. For the Rams and the Eagles, Stafford has looked pretty good. We'll go ahead and throw him into our lineup. Kyron Williams is looking maybe the best that he has ever looked. Making me eat my words about him this offseason. I was staying away from him at draft cost, but he is making me pay right now. Lake Corum, they say they want to get him more involved and then they don't. So I I don't know what to think of Sean McVeigh and his coach speak. I don't know. If you're in a deeper league and you gotta start quorum, I don't hate it, but I certainly don't love it. Keep an eye on Puka Nakua's injury. ⁓ Devontae Adams, you're starting regardless of Puka is there or not. He has looked very, very good these last few weeks. And then Mumfield, it depends on if Nakua's there or not. We obviously saw the injury to Terrence Ferguson last week and Mumfield kind of stepped in and got some Targets and some receptions there. So him being in your lineup kind of depends on everybody else. If you are in a spot where you have to start Mumfield, I feel very, very bad for you. I hope that that's not you, but Terrence Ferguson, we're obviously sitting. Tyler Higbee depends on who else is out there. I mean, if it is just Devontae Adams, I feel okay starting Tyler Higbee. Certainly not somebody that I'm targeting to try to start this week, though. On the Philadelphia side of things, Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, Devonta Smith. Are all starts for me. And then Lemon and Wicks, we are sitting down. For the Packers and the Buccaneers, Jordan loves the start. I don't want any part of the backfield there for the Packers. They look absolutely atrocious. And I've said that I feel like every week. I don't want any part of them. Christian Watson and Matthew Golden have looked very, very good so far. This passing offense has looked good. ⁓ and I think with their O-line struggles, they're gonna try to dump it off early and often to Tucker Kraft. So I'm starting all three of those pass catchers. Over on the Tampa Bay side of things, Baker Mayfield is going to miss some time, and Jalen Daniels will get that start at quarterback. I'm not starting him. ⁓ but Bucky Irving, I don't know, that was a weird situation in week three. He was sitting over on the sideline in the fourth quarter. They say it wasn't an injury, so I'm not sure what was going on. But if I've got Bucky, I probably drafted him as my RB2. So I'm throwing him into my lineup this week. Omeka Abuka and Chris Godwin and Ted Hurst and K Dotten, I'm sitting all of them with. Backup quarterback in there. I don't trust it. I didn't trust it with Baker Mayfield in there. I certainly don't trust it with a backup quarterback. I'm sitting all of those pass catchers. Over to the Miami Dolphins and the Minnesota Vikings, Malik Willis. We will sit Ollie Gordon and Jalen Wright. I want to see how that shakes out in that backfield. I assume Jalen Wright will be back. He obviously missed that game in week three against the Chiefs with an injury, but I expect him to be back here. I want to see how that split goes before I feel comfortable starting either one of them, as I don't think that the touchdown upside is really there for either one of them. ⁓ it's gonna be more of a volume thing. So I want to see how the split works out first. Chris Bell, I'm not starting him. ⁓ Malik Washington, if you need to start him at the flex, he's gotten a lot of targets over the last few weeks. I would feel pretty comfortable starting him at the flex, but I would certainly temper expectations against this Minnesota defense. Very, very good defense. I wouldn't expect a whole lot out of Washington. ⁓ and then Caleb Douglas, we're still watching that injury to see what's going on there. ⁓ but even if he's back, I'm not starting him this week. On the Minnesota side of things, Kyler Murray, Aaron Jones, I am starting. Jones is getting a lot of work. He's just kind of turning that into a ho-hum outcome. But we will start Aaron Jones if we need to. Justin Jefferson, we're monitoring his injury, but we're obviously starting him if he's there. And then Jordan Addison, if Jefferson's gone, I'm gonna throw him into that lineup. There was a lot of deep ball connections there with Kyler Murray in week three. Kyler just kind of chucked it down there and hoped that Addison was around to catch it. I think that the same will be true against this Miami Dolphins defense. And then he TJ Hawkinson, he's running a lot of routes, getting involved. We'll go ahead and start him in those deeper leagues. Over to the Chiefs and the Raiders. This one should be a good one. Patrick Mahomes, Kenneth Walker, Rasheed Rice, and Travis Kelsey are all starts for that Chiefs offense. In Vegas, a very, very fun team so far this year. Kirk Cousins is currently ranked the number nine quarterback in sleeper leagues. If you need a quarterback, Kirk Cousins is out there. You could probably go pick him up pretty cheap and get him in your starting lineup. Ashton Jensi will start. Naylor and Tucker were sitting both of them. We saw all the targets going to Brock Bowers in week three. I think the same will be true going forward. We're obviously starting Bowers. The Los Angeles Chargers and the Seattle Seahawks, Herberts, holy smokes. See you later. A sitting down, Omarion Hampton. I can't imagine that you have better options on your bench, but He hasn't been very good. So you might be able to pick up a bum off the street and throw him in your lineup. He might be better than Hampton has been. So ⁓ depends on who you have there. You might be able to find somebody better to start. Keaton Mitchell's a set. Lad McConkey, you're same thing. You gotta start him. ⁓ Quentin Johnston and Oronde Gatson. We are sitting down. Seattle, Sam Darnold, and JSN are obviously starts. The backfield I'm not touching right now. You got some guys that get all the passing work, some guys get all the running work, some guys fumble their job away. I know who it should be in that backfield. It should be Judarian Price, but he fumbled in week three and then sat pretty much the whole rest of the game. So I'm staying away from that Seattle backfield right now. And then AJ Barner saw quite a few targets in week three, but I still don't feel comfortable throwing him into my lineup. One more afternoon game is the Denver Broncos and the San Francisco 49ers. ⁓ Bonix, I guess we're starting him. He had a pretty decent second half in week three. If you need him, you can start him. Dobbins and Harvey, I'm staying away from Dobbins got all the opportunity in week three and really didn't do a whole lot with it. Jalen Waddle, I don't feel great about starting him there. But if you need a flex play, I guess Waddle could fill that role maybe. Like maybe he's an every other week player. We'll see. Cortland Sutton and Pat Bryant were sitting down. Evan Ingram, we are sitting down. And then over to the San Francisco 49ers with their entire team banged up. It seems like Purdy is an automatic start. He is lighting it up right now. McCaffrey, Keelan Black, we're sitting down. Mike Evans, got to watch for that injury. He is kind of day to day right now. If he's active, you obviously start him. ⁓ Debo Samuel, you start him, but I don't feel great about it. Saw zero targets last week. I don't really know how that's possible with the wide receivers that they currently have, but Debo didn't see a single target. So be careful with that one. George Kittle will go ahead and fire him up. Over to the nightcap. The Lions and the Panthers give me all of this Detroit Lions offense, minus Jamison Williams. I still don't feel comfortable starting him. You know that he's a boom bust player, but he's had three dud weeks in a row. I want to see it before I feel confident at all. And even if he goes off this week and then you start him next week, he'll probably have another dud. You just never know when to trust that guy. But I'm gonna sit Jamison Williams if it is me this week. Over to the Carolina side of things, Bryce Young is a start, Chuba is a start, Tet McMillan and Jalen Coker are starts. ⁓ Coker, you gotta watch that injury, see what the verdict is on that, if he'll be in or out. When he was out last week, the Panthers didn't really look to go to Tedarella McMillan, so maybe temper expectations there. But they did look to go to Darren Waller. So if you need a tight end start this week, Darren Waller could be your guy. And wrapping things up on Monday night, the Atlanta Falcons visit the New Orleans Saints. Michael Penix, if you need a quarterback, he looked decent in week three. I mean, he started very poorly through that interception, and then he lit it up the rest of the night on Thursday night football against the Green Bay Packers. If you need a spot start from a quarterback, Michael Penix. Could be sitting there waiting for you. B. John Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts. I'm starting all three of them. I feel confident with Michael Penix back there. And over to the New Orleans side of things, Tyler Shuck, we're starting. He has looked absolutely dynamite. Travis A. Chan Jr. pulled up with that hammy issue. He is sitting down, obviously, with that injury this week. Elvin Camara, if you need a flex play, I guess you could put him in there. I don't feel overly confident with his production so far this year, given his opportunities. But if you need a flex start, maybe you throw Camaro in your lineup. Chris Olave is obviously a start. Devon Vele has looked good and Juwan Johnson at the tight end position. But that is all I've got time for today, guys. Thank you so much for checking out another video. Hit that like button, hit that subscribe button, and drop a comment. Let me know down below who your biggest start set decisions are this week, and I will try to get them answered. Until next time, have a good one. See ya.
