- 0:12Speaker 1: Hello, my beautiful beans, and welcome to this little bonus
- 0:17Speaker 1: episode for today. I thought I would do a unique
- 0:22Speaker 1: separate episode just to celebrate the launch of my audio
- 0:27Speaker 1: book today. So this is my third book, and it
- 0:30Speaker 1: is an audio book. It's an audio only book, which
- 0:33Speaker 1: I think is quite fitting giving that everything that I
- 0:37Speaker 1: do is in an audio medium. So I was pretty
- 0:39Speaker 1: excited when I got together with my publisher and we
- 0:43Speaker 1: decided to put together an audio only book. But anyway,
- 0:47Speaker 1: it gets released today. It is out now globally, so
- 0:51Speaker 1: no matter what country you're in, it is now out.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I have been talking about this on my podcast for
- 0:57Speaker 1: quite a while, but it is such a long time
- 1:00Speaker 1: in the making. Like I was writing this last year,
- 1:04Speaker 1: It's been months and months and months in the making,
- 1:06Speaker 1: and to the extent that I just recently went over
- 1:10Speaker 1: it because obviously I was going over modules, you know,
- 1:12Speaker 1: separate individual modules here and there, back and forth, you know,
- 1:15Speaker 1: in the editing process with the publisher. But then recently
- 1:18Speaker 1: I just went through the whole thing and I'm so
- 1:21Speaker 1: excited and so happy with how it's turned out. It
- 1:23Speaker 1: flows exactly how I want it to flow. So the
- 1:25Speaker 1: book is called How to Chase change thirty days to
- 1:30Speaker 1: master your mindset. And I have created this book to
- 1:33Speaker 1: be kind of like a handbook that you can use
- 1:37Speaker 1: and look. It's designed to be listened to one module
- 1:41Speaker 1: a day for thirty days, or one chapter a day
- 1:43Speaker 1: I should say for thirty days, and it's split across
- 1:46Speaker 1: five different modules, and each module covers different things such as,
- 1:50Speaker 1: you know, personal growth, relationships, your purpose, things like that.
- 1:55Speaker 1: So it's divided up, so you cover one module before
- 1:59Speaker 1: moving on to the next module and the next topic,
- 2:01Speaker 1: and you work through a different chapter every single day.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Each chapter goes for roughly ten or so minutes, and
- 2:09Speaker 1: after every single day, you either get a piece of
- 2:13Speaker 1: homework or some sort of task or some sort of
- 2:15Speaker 1: behavior to implement into your lifestyle and slash, or you
- 2:19Speaker 1: get a resource to do further reading or to like
- 2:23Speaker 1: look something up or to read into someone else's work
- 2:27Speaker 1: or whatever. So each day you either get an additional
- 2:29Speaker 1: resource to do further research to expand your horizons on
- 2:32Speaker 1: that topic, or you get a task, a behavioral change,
- 2:37Speaker 1: a piece of homework, something to include into your habits.
- 2:40Speaker 1: And the reason I've kind of split it up between
- 2:42Speaker 1: the two is because I also didn't want you being
- 2:43Speaker 1: overwhelmed with thirty different habits that you had to include
- 2:47Speaker 1: into your life from day one to day thirty. So
- 2:50Speaker 1: it's kind of evenly spread out in that way. And
- 2:54Speaker 1: yes I have designed it to be listened to over
- 2:56Speaker 1: thirty days, but as you'll listen to in the book,
- 2:59Speaker 1: as I explained in the book, you can take as
- 3:01Speaker 1: long as you want to do this. I know that
- 3:03Speaker 1: there are some people that really don't like moving on
- 3:05Speaker 1: to the next module until they've really like nailed the
- 3:08Speaker 1: first thing, and that's perfectly fine. There's literally no downside
- 3:12Speaker 1: to taking sixty days or ninety days or however you want,
- 3:15Speaker 1: however long you want to do this this course or
- 3:18Speaker 1: this book, or this whatever you want to call it,
- 3:21Speaker 1: life changing expedition that you're going to go on. So basically,
- 3:26Speaker 1: you take it at your own pace. What I would
- 3:28Speaker 1: love for you not to do, though, is to listen
- 3:31Speaker 1: to it all in one go. I think it really loses,
- 3:34Speaker 1: you know, the power that it has, because I think
- 3:37Speaker 1: we learn best when we digest in small pieces and
- 3:40Speaker 1: then we put that information to good use, we put
- 3:43Speaker 1: it into practice before then going in and absorbing new content.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That is the best way to learn that's the best
- 3:48Speaker 1: way to make those changes permanent. Now, the reason I
- 3:52Speaker 1: wanted to do this book is because obviously I give
- 3:56Speaker 1: you guys so much advice and so much information. Like
- 4:00Speaker 1: I literally like refer to my podcast sometimes as like
- 4:03Speaker 1: a bit of a labyrinth or a black hole because
- 4:05Speaker 1: you can just get sucked into it. There's over three
- 4:08Speaker 1: hundred hours of content that I've put out there on
- 4:11Speaker 1: my podcast, and navigating and finding that information, given that
- 4:16Speaker 1: it's been like four years, is not the easiest thing.
- 4:19Speaker 1: And I get so many people on the Facebook group
- 4:21Speaker 1: talking about the fact that they really want information on
- 4:25Speaker 1: this topic, and people are offering them, oh, maybe listen
- 4:28Speaker 1: to episode number one hundred and fifty six, or maybe
- 4:30Speaker 1: listen to this, or listen to that. So I thought,
- 4:32Speaker 1: imagine if I could pull in information that I have
- 4:35Speaker 1: taught over the past four years and new information and
- 4:38Speaker 1: resources that I'm yet to share, but package it in
- 4:41Speaker 1: a way that it is concise, it is clear, it
- 4:45Speaker 1: is done in an ordered manner, and it is also
- 4:49Speaker 1: in bite sized pieces that's really easy to digest. So
- 4:53Speaker 1: it's something that you can be like, here's the start,
- 4:55Speaker 1: here's the finish. This is where I'm beginning, this is
- 4:57Speaker 1: what I want to feel and have and and achieved
- 5:01Speaker 1: by the end of the thirty days. So that's how
- 5:04Speaker 1: it differs quite significantly from the podcast, because, as you
- 5:08Speaker 1: guys are aware, the podcast is like, this is one topic,
- 5:10Speaker 1: let's dove into it, let's go into it. This is
- 5:12Speaker 1: very much like I'm taking you on a journey where
- 5:15Speaker 1: there's like a proper start, middle, and end, and it's
- 5:18Speaker 1: really manageable, bite sized pieces. I take out the best
- 5:21Speaker 1: of the best from the podcast, and I bring in
- 5:23Speaker 1: more brand new information that I haven't yet spoken about,
- 5:27Speaker 1: and each day I teach you how you can then
- 5:29Speaker 1: implement that thing into your life. So if you were
- 5:32Speaker 1: to do this over the thirty days or the sixty
- 5:34Speaker 1: or ninety however you want to take it, you will
- 5:36Speaker 1: notice some serious changes in your life. And of course,
- 5:39Speaker 1: if you do the homework, the changes will be much
- 5:42Speaker 1: bigger than if you just passively listen and don't do
- 5:44Speaker 1: the homework. So I would really hope that everyone that
- 5:47Speaker 1: does listen to this book wants to like synk their
- 5:49Speaker 1: teeth in and really get involved with this. Okay, now
- 5:54Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do is I'm going to share a
- 5:56Speaker 1: little audio snippet from the chapter one point two in
- 6:01Speaker 1: Module one and Module one is all about identity. So
- 6:06Speaker 1: the theme of module one is your identity, and this
- 6:09Speaker 1: module one point two is all based around purpose. The
- 6:13Speaker 1: chapter is called what is Your Purpose and do you
- 6:15Speaker 1: Need One? So keep listening to listen to that snippet
- 6:18Speaker 1: of module number one. Over the next few weeks, I'm
- 6:21Speaker 1: going to be sharing like tiny snippets from each module
- 6:24Speaker 1: off the book. If you haven't already pre ordered the book.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Hopefully this inspires you to go ahead and purchase that book.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Do your future self a.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Favor and start implementing all these things and putting it
- 6:36Speaker 1: into practice. I will have the link for you to
- 6:38Speaker 1: be able to purchase the audiobook in the bio of
- 6:41Speaker 1: this episode. It's also on my link tree in my socials,
- 6:44Speaker 1: so on my Instagram if you just click on the
- 6:47Speaker 1: link tree, you'll be able to access that link as
- 6:49Speaker 1: well to purchase it. Guys, I'm so excited. I have
- 6:54Speaker 1: already received so much support with people sharing that they've
- 6:57Speaker 1: already pre ordered the book, So it's really really cool
- 7:00Speaker 1: to see that you guys are consuming my content regularly
- 7:04Speaker 1: but also supporting the podcast, supporting me with purchasing this
- 7:09Speaker 1: book and also supporting yourselves into your future by going
- 7:14Speaker 1: through this thirty day course and really doing the work,
- 7:18Speaker 1: doing it in a really really great order, and you know,
- 7:22Speaker 1: basically reaping the rewards of your hard work. So I
- 7:25Speaker 1: can't wait for you guys to start doing the thirty days.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I think it'd be really cool to also share what

- 7:39Speaker 1: or on socials, because I really love to listen to
- 7:41Speaker 1: what you guys have to say or to read about
- 7:43Speaker 1: your journeys. It's really really cool. So that is my
- 7:46Speaker 1: announcement for the day. The book has finally come out.
- 7:49Speaker 2: It is.
- 7:50Speaker 1: It feels like it's been so long in the making.
- 7:52Speaker 1: It's very very exciting. I'm feeling very happy and very
- 7:56Speaker 1: grateful today and I just wanted to say I adore
- 7:59Speaker 1: you guys. You guys are the real MVPs as far
- 8:01Speaker 1: as podcast audiences go, My beans are the bust. And
- 8:05Speaker 1: now stay tuned to listen to a little snippet off
- 8:08Speaker 1: the audio book. I hope you guys enjoyed. Love you
- 8:10Speaker 1: so much.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Purpose can be intimidating. The narratives we have all heard
- 8:30Speaker 2: about finding your purpose make it feel like it needs
- 8:33Speaker 2: to be something you come across and instantly recognize as
- 8:36Speaker 2: your one and only calling. A purpose is simply a
- 8:40Speaker 2: meaningful and motivating aim of your life. It is your
- 8:44Speaker 2: reason for being here, and it helps you form your
- 8:47Speaker 2: goals and keep you on track. It creates meaning in
- 8:51Speaker 2: your life and it feels satisfying. For some this is
- 8:56Speaker 2: linked to their work and career, but for many it
- 8:59Speaker 2: is something separate. That said, I do believe that purpose
- 9:04Speaker 2: does have to be linked to making yourself useful, not
- 9:08Speaker 2: turning yourself into a marta and living purely for others,
- 9:11Speaker 2: but contributing in some way. Connection and community are such
- 9:17Speaker 2: an integral part of the human experience, and feeling like
- 9:20Speaker 2: you are part of your community and you provide value
- 9:24Speaker 2: are important in feeling like you have a purpose. There
- 9:28Speaker 2: is a lot of pressure on the concept of purpose
- 9:31Speaker 2: because we hear about people that may have done huge
- 9:34Speaker 2: generous acts, or started charities or influenced millions of people.
- 9:39Speaker 2: You may see someone living out a career of helping
- 9:42Speaker 2: save lives, such as a doctor or neurosurgeon, or you
- 9:46Speaker 2: hear about people reaching millions with their music or art.
- 9:50Speaker 2: And while these stories are a true representation of finding purpose,
- 9:54Speaker 2: they can make others feel that purpose has to be
- 9:56Speaker 2: this larger than life thing, making it seem on it aable.
- 10:01Speaker 2: But I think this can be misleading. It is sometimes
- 10:04Speaker 2: the most simple things in life that keep people feeling
- 10:08Speaker 2: like they have a reason for being here on this earth.
- 10:11Speaker 2: And by simple, I don't mean trivial or unimportant. Many
- 10:16Speaker 2: people that make it past one hundred years old claim
- 10:19Speaker 2: that they maintain their health because they are always doing
- 10:23Speaker 2: something to contribute and that is their purpose. So maybe
- 10:28Speaker 2: if you are not yet clear on purpose, it's time
- 10:31Speaker 2: to rethink what it could look like. So let's start
- 10:35Speaker 2: with some questions to ask yourself. Do you think that
- 10:39Speaker 2: purpose is found by searching or do you think that
- 10:42Speaker 2: purpose finds you? How have you defined purpose in your
- 10:46Speaker 2: life previously? If you were to name three people you
- 10:50Speaker 2: know who are definitely living their purpose, who would they
- 10:53Speaker 2: be and what is that purpose they are living? Take
- 10:58Speaker 2: a moment to think through these questions. Understanding how you
- 11:01Speaker 2: look at purpose will help you understand why you may
- 11:05Speaker 2: have struggled to feel it in the past,
