- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I apologize for that technology
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: was not my friend today.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm back a little bit ran down stairs and ran up stairs.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: So, got a lot to talk about on this podcast.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: I was talking, thanks coaching updates and changes in terms of jet drive.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: Evans, go to the Steelers, and less some chicaneary happens.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna be discussing
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: as a first ballot, whole of fame, um, but before we get into all of that, have you been like history month, well, yes, like history month, baby, every month, black history
- 2:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's a, I'm just thinking, we're in the beginning of February and like, there's a long offseason ahead of us, but I'm also thinking that like next month, you know, about next month, you got the tampering period opens up and all that and you have reagency in the craft in April, then there's like that flurry, that flurry, that flurry, and then it's like, you know,
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: Just your thoughts very I mean it's early early enough.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we didn't even hit on the news that Jake Hainer is not along with the Saints.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's with the cheese God is good freedom God is good and all the time Good but just early the fact that Jake Hainer has you blocked is a completely
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I get, listen, I get why if a professional athlete, especially at the same, like someone on the same foot block me, I get that.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: I understand that.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very, I'm very outspoken.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: I say, I say what I say, I don't really hold back for you to be blocked.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you are blocking, I wasn't blocked.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's weird.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: I don't need, I don't need to say nothing like really crazy about him.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's a game, baby.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: Dick, Dick, Dick without her, without her listed it.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, my mentor, him in Harrison Bucker will have, I'm sure, great conversations in Kansas City, but early, like early thoughts, you know, before this offseason kind of truly kicks off.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: Like all these mark drafts and shit will go out the window out the window back to free after free agency Because that's when we gonna get some answers as far as like do the entrance guard do the entrance running back
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: do they address any weapons early or do they go to the trenches, defensive players or they're going to spin, because things got money, but I know the caps is like negative seven is eight million or something like that.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, change, bro, that's spinning money.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's spinning money next year is like a hundred and fifty million in cap space and space free money.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know how that works, bro, like you can look at this year, you expand that over the next three years.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_02]: They got money, but he got the money and space to spend.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: The Saints operate like niggas with the corporate credit and bad debt, bro.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_02]: Like they just put up your credit report, that thing seemed like 720.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_02]: I said it's 720, but I'm about to step on the platform, all these cards, and just see who it.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: So we're talking about free agency.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: One thing I want to talk about on this pod, we had a project a week episode where we went a deep dive in Caleb Downs.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's available on for YouTube members and on our Patreon Patreon.com.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: So it's slash links, but I've partnered for the early release where it will be Patreon only, YouTube member only for the first two weeks.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: Really great episode and us really breaking them down.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: I would say if you were to ask me in terms of the Mario Davis coming back Right now a guy feels feels kind of 50 50 and we just what I was told was that He's looking to get paid and understandably from his standpoint He's an older player.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: He knows it like this That this is gonna be the last contract that he gets so I can please let me take you some like team friendly deals like
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for this couple of years and I don't think he's looking to take a deep friendly deal this year.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: So if I could easily, and I don't even know any teens, but like the team like, you know, I don't know, like the jets, you know, them going hard for Demario, go back to the New York pair of him with like Alex and Zeloney, what have you?
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I think there's a legit possibility.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: that the lot like this past season may have been tomorrow's last season with the Saints.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: And if that were to happen, we talked about the the cap representations of it in terms of the dead cap space that that would leave.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: But overall like it would leave a whole just in terms of like football intelligence and even if he lost a step over the last couple of seasons, his football intelligence is all that was second to none.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: The leadership, the footballer told us that the standard he said and you all the young players talk about it like, can you open it with tomorrow you bro?
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: You're not about to have step-by-art play so far, take a play off here and there's none of that, you know what I'm saying, preach a man got you, you know what I'm saying so I mean it'll be missed bro, like that just that leadership and just that that
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: they don't, you know what I'm saying?
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: Just they don't in the room.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_02]: You're going, we're going missing.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: It will see, we'll see if he leaves in that.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_02]: But if he does leave, look, I'm looking forward to like a new chapter, you know what I'm saying, whether that's Danny Stussman or, you know, maybe they maybe they signed a linebacker or infregency, I don't know.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Pete Warnett, why aren't it out loud, son?
- 8:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm done.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm done.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's nasty work.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's nasty work.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that is nasty work.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: That is nasty work.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Pete Warnett, go set the standard number.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, when the last time people wanted to clock the end Ryan when the last time people weren't on clock the end.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even think you've been on pizza.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: They've been on pizza.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: PTO for like two seasons for I know I know when his agent heard that contract.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: He said, nigga, you better find this shit.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: Right side.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: That's now.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: That's upside.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: Agreed.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: Send.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: One of the most befuddling contract extensions.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like I just said no one has no I've been asking it for two years of like what world was the rush like what was the fire to extend but one or I would really like to know Jack Hunter said some good linebackers in this draft but but thenish yeah it is and
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how like, and if Demario were to leave, I don't know how it feel about, like, Susman, I think he could, you know, he played middle, I think that would be where he would play of Demario were to leave.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: But just like, the assessment at middle, and I'm not even worried about him, like he's gonna have his lunch, obviously, but then I'm like, if people want it's gonna be next to him, like, oh, oh,
- 10:13[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I like, can we, can we get some more, can we get some juice?
- 10:21[SPEAKER_02]: You know, in the linebacker core, you know what I'm saying?
- 10:24[SPEAKER_02]: Like, we don't, we don't, we don't flood the leeward linebacker.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_02]: They, like, I remember the days where we would kill for a linebacker.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_02]: We were like, man, if L.A.B.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_02]: Completed week, we might have a chance.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like, I was David Husslein, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David, David
- 10:43[SPEAKER_02]: But I shared the little, I think he had like a pic six or something we used with the seaworks I shared that little clip so many times like we got a line back and I could cover and get pics The heart is locked in, don't think it's seas, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it, don't want it,
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: how to uh K&L is K&L is I think you're free agent yes yes mm-hmm The A&N here no more K&L come on there I want to bring up a point the Mario thing that are do rocking our in our discord mention was just that
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: We go back and watch the prospect of the week for Caleb Downs, but that if they were to lose someone like Demario, the fact potentially that they could have, like a draft Caleb Downs and his football intelligence and him, like he wouldn't have the green dot, but he would essentially be like the leader of the defense in like Oregon, like that is crucial, because there's gonna be a brain drain if Demario isn't brought back.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: perfect phrase and the fact that potentially who knows if he's there at eight they could draft kill up down to eight and he's like unequivably like a leader and football intelligence.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's something that they were like I could see them being like damn like we need to replace all the like and again this is early like who knows they might they might sign a line back and for you to see in that might you know might not be the book.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the same, but I could see how Caleb downs, because it could be even more enticing if they were to lose the Mario on free agency.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, no question, probably like I'm gonna say, you get somebody like Caleb downs, and again, like Y'all go check out a prospect for a week, a lot of some failable patrons only, YouTube members only.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_02]: He would give them that,
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: play out like Malcolm Jenkins, tomorrow your Davis, Johnville, uh, you have those leaders, those smart intelligent, super high people ball like you.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_02]: He would be one of those guys for the Saints for the next five, 10 years.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_02]: I have a long time to say.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_02]: Like that, he would feel that role.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: Amazing.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_02]: Immediately.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: Immediately.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I just have this feeling that if tomorrow were to leave,
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: I really couldn't see them like losing Demario and Cam in the same season.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: And the same off season.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it would just be.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: It would be so unsafe like for them to do that.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_01]: But especially like post-payton, like I feel like
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: which Sean, he had the only say the gumption, but had the ability to have like, you know, those tough conversations.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_01]: I think about that kind of the software we set the team did where they trade a scrolls of Philly and kind of have that software reset and everything.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: My question is, like, if they choose to potentially let Demario go and let Cam go, like, who's having those tough conversation with those stalwart players?
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't know who on the staff and who on the front offices, like, because usually Sean had those conversation with players in the past.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like, who does that now?
- 14:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't know who else that personality saw to even bring that up and be kind of put the hand on the shoulders and be like, hey, yeah.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's fine, buddy, it's time, buddy.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, bro.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I think I mean, I don't know.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_02]: But I think canvas to go around.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_02]: Because the thing with canvas, he doesn't even have to be a starter.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he doesn't have to be the quarter quarter starter.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_02]: Getting the United States away.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's about like the Mario.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: If he's on a TV, he's going to play all the snaps and all the snaps.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: Be the dough.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_02]: Cam already played like 53% of the snaps last year and, you know, he produced well.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: So, like, if want to do that again, bro, like, come on back, like, they cracked the code because used to be, he had to play like a ton of snaps to real get his production.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: We're not even cracked the code where he can get his production and have his impact and still be in a rotation with the rest of the deadline.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_02]: So, it just makes sense to bring Cam back if they want to go that route because, I mean, they lose Cam, bro, like,
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: shit gets thin and I don't know if this is a huge factor for them but like that's 30 million dollars in debt cap space for players that are not on the team.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: And it's unfortunately does the situation they put themselves in.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, and I feel like that shouldn't type of decisions.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_01]: That shouldn't factor into the equation when you're making a decision in terms of bringing an older player's back or what have you but just how the sense of historically operated like that does factor in.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll see what happens in terms of if that's going to be a factor descent coming off season.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: What else did I want to hit on?
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I didn't put this in our,
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: I guess a title.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: Saints are going to play in Paris.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: Paris?
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: Paris.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: Paris.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: Mm.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: Mm.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: Um.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: It was confirmed a couple of days ago, Saints will be playing in Paris the first, first, I guess.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: NFL game will be in Paris.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: The date is not known.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: The opponent isn't known.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: There's speculation.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: It could be the Browns, but who truly knows exciting.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'll say from the standpoint, like, if we could, if I'm gonna try my best to me and the family, and I'll be honest, like it's not even about the Saints.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's just really about having the opportunity to take my daughter to see another country overseas.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: I never got to experience that as a kid because there's no way I know about, didn't even have a passport until I was an adult.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: So the fact that,
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I potentially would have the ability to, you know, show her, you know, show her London and show her Paris.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I really, that's all that matters to me.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: The fact that the Saints might have a game there, this up from a season is just cherry's on top.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: But if there are enough of our community who plans to go there, oh my figure, I don't have a little SPP, parents, parents give me that.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: French meet-up, man.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: And that just be dope, just because I know that it'll just be a ton of saints' friends out there, tons of people from New Orleans, Louisiana.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_02]: I've been out there in Paris with your people, you know?
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: It was so stark.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: It blew me away when I was there in London for the Saint's Vikings game.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_01]: And we were, you know, me and Jay were walking back to the hotel and obviously I had my, you know, SVP T-shirt on and some, you know, someone who's walking back to his hotel was also a Saint's fan of his black knee.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: He said, oh,
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, what's up, like, gave Dap in New the podcast and like, it was, I'm like, that's wild.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: It was wild to have that.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: But I will say one little thing about the whole thing is like, it's a little weird how mum, the actual NFL, has been about it.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like, have you known as it just means like, weird, weird, because that's some geopolitics going on.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: I swear they are, I'm not going to get into them, but I swear they are.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: Because it first the NFL dropped the release of like the six or eight games that they have an international game.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: It was the Paris game on there, but then like the same put something mild and then the NFL came put something mild is like, what is happening here like?
- 18:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think if I speak, um, but still it will be, you know, I just hope that.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_01]: Especially for things like that.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the thing that's a little weird to me that, and I don't know if they announce the dates for the other games, but it's like a little, if you're gonna do something like this, like the sooner people know like the actual date of the game, like the better, because like traveling overseas is not cheap, like it is not cheap, is expensive, cheap.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_02]: you know, we call for work all kind of stuff.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: All of it all of it.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just it's just a little weird that like, I don't know, but hopefully that if got gets announced soon, like that should be announced before the schedule release like that is it.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: But um, so that will be fun.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: One thing I wanted to say while we're doing this podcast is I'm wearing our SPP hoodie.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: You can't really tell, but it is a hoodie and I am seeing if, if you're Patreon, if you're interested in a hoodie.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: Let me know.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: I want to get like a count, so I could do like a wholesale order of the hoodies and once I have a final count of how many people are interested in hoodies from
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: For me to order I'll give like the price of the hoodie and all that I'm also going to put a post in our on patreon patreon.com slash link spot party If you are already told me that you want one in the discord, please don't respond again because it's going to confuse like my county.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: So Let me know.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, this is What it looks like so I get a count on how many people want an SPP hoodie and we'll go from there
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about the Saints.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_01]: Well, actually before we go and death about the Saints coaching staff and all that, let's take our first break right here, and then we'll come back, we'll talk about Saints coaching staff and updates right after this break.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't mean to push that button, but it's actually kind of funny that I did, because it is job season, but we'll be back after this break.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yo, what up, Wolf?
- 21:21[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you're looking at.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_02]: Man, I'm checking out this website.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_02]: This site is Cheeksboro.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_02]: In 2025, how do you have a crappy website?
- 21:28[SPEAKER_02]: Couldn't be me.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_02]: They need to hit a biogad, be sure what pressure's works.

- 21:43[SPEAKER_02]: Don't have much time.

- 22:07[SPEAKER_02]: He also keeps it up to date and helps us any time we want to add something new like a form or the prospect manager tool that we did for the NFL draft.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's like having your own personal developer, just a text I'll call it away.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_02]: Pressure's works has worked with everyone from small businesses to large firms, so no job is too big or too small.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_02]: If you're in a need of a website or you currently have one, but you want to upgrade it, give B-Journey Highland Pressure's works.
- 22:33[UNKNOWN]: You couldn't.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_02]: get with him at BCON at Precious Works, the IGO in at Precious.Works or go to Precious.Works for his website.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_02]: Make sure to tell him the same's Black Party sent you.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: We are back.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: So we wanted I wanted to discuss the
- 22:56[SPEAKER_01]: Saints coaching staff updates.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: It was a lot of potential.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: The Steelers might.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: McCarthy was coming hard at Scott Toesene.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: Tension interview interview.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, ditchie, ditchie, ditchie, and for office of coordinator was interviewing Chase Haslitt, the title, the title is coach for the same position with the Steelers.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: They did sign Jari Evans who was a part of the offensive line coaching staff for the Saints.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_01]: So he now is with the Steelers.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: but the fact that, oh, we're this.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: The fact that Tyler Schuck will be able to have continuity, especially with Scott Tozine going to you is fundamentally crucial and super important.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: if either tozing or has it were true favorites for the position.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I think what sounds like what happened is I think got a lot of good like PR through like big media in terms of like how truly favorites they were for the jobs maybe not that much, but to me that doesn't matter.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: What does matter is I got I got any of you for what matters to me is that.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: The coaching staff, except for, you know, side from Gary Evans, the Reigns and Taka still don't know why they haven't made any moves at special teams coach, but that's a difference comes to the different day.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's crucial for Tyler Schuck in his development and everything going for it because we know how often it is for young quarterbacks again the league and they have so much turnover with often as a coordinator with their play collar with their head coach with their quarterbacks coach and it just creates this uncertainty and lack of stability so that's important going going into next season for Tyler Schuck.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man, all I really worried about was Scott told me on that because yeah, he's a good before I can get this hard to really like analyze like position coach, you know, how you could do is like look at the way how well the position does, but I like listen to the players I listen to the players like talk about.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: certain coaches and stuff and from what I could tell, this guy does a good job.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_02]: He's a little different than most quarterback coaches because he's just was playing in a league, you know, a couple of years ago.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_02]: So he really feels that void of like, like people like to say, oh, the same thing to me, this is not like a VECQB in a room.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_02]: Well, like he feels that void of being
- 25:26[SPEAKER_02]: that veteran cuter back that can really like talk to Tyler Schuck and Spencer Radler on that level, you know what I'm saying.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's cause like what they what they need to see and what they need to work on.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: And the things he teaches, I listen to him talk and if you listen to him talking, then you go listen to Schuck or Radler, it's like they all speak in the same language.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: You talk about their feet, what work, all that stuff.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_02]: So it just goes to show you that he's actually
- 25:54[SPEAKER_02]: He's doing a good job.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: You can just look at the job they did with Tyler shook, man.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_02]: Like a lot of the things he was able to clean up from when he came in.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_02]: Working in the camp to when he was playing, you know, in the real games all the way to the end.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: He was sold the actual development.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_02]: So I was like, man, if they got to give toes in on the raise or something, I don't let him
- 26:19[SPEAKER_02]: Don't let him out the door right now.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's going to have it eventually, but like not right now.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like right now, right now you just want that consistency in that new routine that he used to talk about all the time.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: And like,
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: Even though the middle of the season when he's not playing great, you can even look at the improvement and the growth that Rattler had from his rookie season to his sophomore season in year two, where the things that he definitely needed to work on as a rookie in terms of his footwork
- 26:56[SPEAKER_01]: movement in the pocket and and getting the ball out quickly and also being a little more like deliberate in terms of in his placement and throwing the ball.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: From week one and tell like before the bears game I would say that's we saw that improvement.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like it was a fundamental like improvement that was like tangible and observable that you could see now.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_01]: And that all goes to like that's
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: this team in this staff, one thing you have to give them credit for, and a bunch of credit for is the ability to show and it's one year, so it has to continue, but the ability to show or a back development.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_01]: That is foolishly an integral importance.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_01]: Right, with Cliff Kingsbury, like his secret sauce has been able to identify quarterbacks, you know, coming from college into the NFL, even when he was at Texas Tech at the as a head coach, he was able to identify quarterbacks, um, you know, in terms of like recruiting with Patrick Mahomes and Baker Mayfield, but his secret, like his secret sauce says whoever Cliff Kingsbury is is just identifying quarterbacks.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like team, like I've said many times, like teams should just hire Cliff Kingsbury to just be involved in the draft process if a team
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: with the Saints and what Kellen and the staff right now it feels like in it and to be fair they got dieted if I tie the shock and everything looks to be going great in that direction.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: But just the development of those quarterbacks is equally as important because
- 28:38[SPEAKER_01]: where I think Cliff Kingsbury, at least as a head coaches, and even you can make the argument with this season, I don't know how much it's accurate, is that usually has, I've been, I didn't if he too, identity, I, ability to identify the quarterback, but maybe not have the ability to develop the quarterback, whether it be columnary, you know, obviously Jamie Daniels has the injuries and what have you, but the fact that this coaching staff has shown at least in one season that they can develop quarterbacks
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: Crucial bro.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_02]: Crucial.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_02]: It's a Tico.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_02]: If they could prove that that's literally A part of their super power like a part of their repertoire.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_02]: That is a that is a Tico in their NFL Okay, so I got to have the other stuff too.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: That is yes.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't take off Whether I don't know if I'm gonna bring this up.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: I got didn't plan on so this is off off the cuff That said, the senior bowl game Pass out of there
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: I notice a certain L.A.C.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: quarterback is born in a state city.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_01]: He scored on a read option.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: Who's calling?
- 29:47[SPEAKER_01]: What's got?
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: Who's calling play?
- 29:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's got toes in.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's calling play.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_02]: He's calling play.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_02]: He's calling play.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_02]: He's calling play.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's calling play.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's calling play.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_02]: He's calling play.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 30:02[UNKNOWN]: He's calling play.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 30:03[UNKNOWN]: He's calling play.
- 30:03[UNKNOWN]: He's calling play.
- 30:04[UNKNOWN]: He's calling play.
- 30:04[UNKNOWN]: He's calling play.
- 30:05[UNKNOWN]: He's calling play.
- 30:05[UNKNOWN]: He's calling play.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's calling play.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing with Nusmire is, because this is such a down quarterback class, now that he's healthy, you know, what happens with Trinidad, Chameless, now that is whatever, get a job Negro, but what's he with happens with his situation?
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: And somebody face so hard, not to go to the league.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just, I would literally have to look through history to see if this is ever happening.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_02]: Because someone has fought this hard to not go to the league.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen it before.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_01]: This was before my time, but I know Joe Montana didn't want to go because he didn't want to go to the team.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_01]: I want to say that, Jonathan, because he also had baseball to go back on.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_02]: And like, I'm like, I've, I'm not, I'm like, I forgot the bill's quarter back down.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_02]: Back in the day.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_02]: But I probably have quarterbacks.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_02]: I've not wanted to go to like specific teams.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, right.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: But they wanted to go to the NFL.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: They just didn't want to go to the NFL.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, I don't want to go.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is like, do not take, don't take me, I'm not ready.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_01]: nigga, you about to be 25 like this year.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't ask on the NFL, get you some NFL checks, they're like, it's a small team.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's a whole conversation with like just the whole different generate like this generation in our album.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's it's it's it's that's the whole thing also to where you see this is a complete all talk where we see
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's happened a couple of times now where players got drafted in the NBA, signed it NBA contract, maybe a plate like played some NBA games or what have you, but then they're like now they're wanting to go back to college and play in college, it's a, it's a whole, it's a whole fucking thing.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, um, all that to say,
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't I don't think like I just think with him being healthy.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think Gertness Meyer is probably going to rehab his drops that draft stock and you'll get a thirsty team.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_01]: He'll go he'll have a private workout or at the at the combine he out there.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: throwing that ball and all that, and I wouldn't be surprised if a team in the second round who needs quarterback like would take a shot on him.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_01]: It just wouldn't shock me at all.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_02]: And his thing, he's going to kill it in every draft I mean, in every meeting, all of us.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_02]: He has me coaches.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_02]: He's a coaches son.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_02]: He's smart.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_02]: He knows the game.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like I said, when I was at the scene, bold last week, he just looked like that.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_02]: Field general about that.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_02]: Like he just,
- 32:39[SPEAKER_02]: was just running practice, lying there body up like he just, he looked like that dude, it just knew everything was going on.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we could argue, you know, you could talk about his like athletic ability and, you know, what's the silliness of actual quarterback?
- 32:52[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but like the neck up stuff is going to impress a lot of coaches.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_02]: So he'll get drafted.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_02]: Way he gets drafted.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: I could see him going in the second round, but you know, teams is kind of like, they get weird about draft the quarterbacks in the second round.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: So he didn't go there.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: to like the third, fourth, fifth round.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, bro, like it can go any kind of way because this quarterback class is so thin, so thin.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's, it's deep, but it's like been up top.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: But like, all the players like, all the players like, all the, and cup and cup neck and just, it's a, it's a very weird class.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_02]: All that to say, that caution back, like, just do the play a thousand games.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_02]: Thousands games.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't know how long, bro, like I just feel like he's been playing forever.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: Ever.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_01]: If you're getting us miles there in the fourth round.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: And a team pull the trigger.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: How you feel?
- 33:53[SPEAKER_01]: The same's pull the trigger.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I have to cool with it, bro.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be cool with it.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_02]: Just as long as they addressed juice before that, please.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm going to be a quarter into the please.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_02]: Just get some juice.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_02]: Everything get some juice.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_02]: I really don't care.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I don't care what you're doing.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't mind like I hear all the arguments is like, oh, what's the point?
- 34:10[SPEAKER_02]: Definitely another quarterback that got one already.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_02]: You already got Red Lair, like what, why, why just why not going get a line back?
- 34:17[SPEAKER_02]: Because running back or something.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_02]: And we still don't get this like, you may look get quarterbacks, right?
- 34:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like I'm just, I'm fine with like just keep taking steps and quarterbacks, especially if you got like a staff.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_02]: It feels like they could develop them.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm cool with that.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_02]: The only thing I would give me, like, pauses, like, okay, oh, you're doing that because that's the son, you know, saying like, or you just trying to do a solid for, for Uncleville, like, you know, Uncle looking sad over there.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to make a check in this, man.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_02]: Uncle looking nervous.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: Uncle, like, I will, yeah, I was boys.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_02]: Bro, yeah, I was boys.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_02]: As he asked, boys, boy, it's okay, it's okay.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm just hoping, like, some team, I'm hoping some team just traps in us.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_02]: Just triathlon before it gets to, like, it becomes a discussion in the same spot.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_02]: Or wrong with it.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, to discuss.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_01]: I can almost guarantee.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: I can't guarantee it.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't want to.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: I would be, I wouldn't be shocked at all if he became a discussion like I'm in round four where they have to, we have to, they have to force brother like, yeah, it wouldn't check me at all, man.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_01]: At all, bro.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: Not, not even over there.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just, and it's the comfort level.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_02]: Like killing those, and that's, since he was a kid, like, right, it's like, it's not, it wouldn't even be like a big thing, like they all know each other.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_02]: They call each other the age.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_02]: So it would be just like a family reunion, you know what I'm saying, so I could completely
- 35:45[SPEAKER_02]: Like I said, I hope a team just takes us before us and just go have a great life.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate y'all for joining us now.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: We have 26 concurrent viewers, 117 views.

- 36:36[SPEAKER_01]: I need water.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_02]: So I need some water, I need some water, 22, man.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, we got to work on that.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: Um, before we, before we get into the group, the group reads conversation in Hall of Fame and everything.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: Let's take our final break of this episode.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: And then after this, we'll come back talk about group reads potentially being in the Hall of Fame as a first ballot all of a sudden, right after this break.

- 38:22[SPEAKER_01]: We are back in last, when we have the last thing, but one of the big things we want to talk about in this episode is we will know officially tomorrow if Drew Rees will be a first ballot hall of Amor.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's, I would,
- 38:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be shocked if he wasn't and everything I would say every indication is pointing that direction that he will be a first by the Hall of Famer, but just a reflection because obviously the graphic of this episode is, you know, bringing this back.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just, it's one of those things of the sports fan, especially like a football fan where, once you have a franchise quarterback
- 39:03[SPEAKER_01]: history of being a franchise.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: He has been there only franchise quarterback potentially up to this point and it just as a fan it changes your whole perspective of what
- 39:18[SPEAKER_01]: having to franchise quarterback really is like what all that entails when it looks like and you know he is truly in my opinion still one of the most underrated football players of all talk like it's it's still insane how criminally underrated he is but just your thoughts and everything regarding potentially jubries being the first ballot hall of amber.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh man just
- 39:43[SPEAKER_02]: just succeeded for a first ballot first ballot all of fame and I know there are still people out there that just feel like like too breezy he doesn't deserve that like he wasn't all that good blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah like I got it here like I got it I watched Joe breeze every snap he's every snap is same every single snap and I know the nuance that goes with it he
- 40:10[SPEAKER_02]: He was one of the, one of the, if not the most prolific passer in the era of the prolific passer, like in the era of the quarterback, in the era of paid man in Tiberty, Aaron Rogers, Philip Revers, Matt Ryan, you know, everybody was putting up numbers.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_02]: He was the one breaking the records, winning the games, putting the team on the shoulders.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_02]: He brought the New Orleans Saints to the Super Bowl,
- 40:39[SPEAKER_02]: You know all the things, he didn't ride a defense to this boy, he broke that team to a Super Bowl and won the game against Peyton Manning and Biggest Peyton Manning.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_01]: I beat Brett Far and NFC championship to get there.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_02]: and Kurt Warner, like, like, come on man, like, like the dude is just, it was, it was unbelievable.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, not to go negative, but, you know, you just can't help but wonder, like, what if, you know, I'm saying, because out of all those quarterbacks I named, he consistently over that time played with
- 41:19[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you could argue like they could have done more around them as far as like weapons, but you know, I won't go that far, but like definitely like deeply with these words of defences for that stretch on average.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_02]: Now, you know, the defenses did get good towards the end of his, you know, his career, you know, like 2020, 2017, the defenses started getting better.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, there's a long stretch about 10 years where it was bad, you know, saying it was bad.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_02]: literally go in every game thinking, okay, I got a score 35, 40 points for us to win and you do it.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_02]: More often than not, you do it, you know what I'm saying?
- 42:00[SPEAKER_02]: And the fact that he is like leaves all quarterbacks and quarterbacks that with a go ahead touchdown within two minutes of
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: with laws, the leads by Farber Dante Dump.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, he's saying he's so good I forgot he thought we'd just be here for the black.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_02]: Man, will he talk about that?
- 42:28[SPEAKER_02]: He was like, what's everybody in there?
- 42:30[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, it's something I wouldn't do.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_02]: You're not even talking about that little.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's, you become like, Obi-Wan, here's the name.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_02]: He just, he just, we don't acknowledge that shit.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_02]: That would be it, please.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_02]: Malcolm Jenkins, crying, all type of shit.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_01]: Please, like, right, I was ready to, like, I'll never forget the episodes that we did back then.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_01]: Could we, yeah, it was your corner.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_02]: And it was like, it was just really like, it was depressing, like, oh, like, what, man?
- 43:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, you can't do it.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that was the time to plan this.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, true.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's my damn quarterback.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: This is my quarterback right there Wainset I pretend I do not see it.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_01]: I do not hear it.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: Don't see it My guy.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: I wish
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's funny, not funny because like, you know, we potentially that felt this was coming in.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't, I wouldn't be shocked at all if the Saints end up having to play in the Hall of Fame bowl, potentially, because of that.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: But it is a racket, just go to the Hall of Fame ceremony.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_01]: It is an absolute racket.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think I looked it up, I don't know, last year and it was like, anywhere from like $600 to like a thousand dollars, just like beat in the ceremony like to beat in this game.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_01]: I said, what the hell?
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: Pro football, all the famous are private entities.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_02]: They'd be that money.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_01]: I make sense, I guess.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: But it just, and I don't want to go back to the whole, whole fiasco that was happening with Derek Carl was going to go back, but it was just so fast
- 44:30[SPEAKER_01]: as that was going on when we saw very early as I go like this is okay this is what it is okay I see what it is like for people like us and others who want it better than just that like that was put on and like a big reason why we want it better is like we we don't have flaming y'all like once you see that flaming y'all going to like oligarden no offense to all
- 45:00[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there are some things fans who, that's all, that's all they know.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like, all they know is Drew Breeze's quarterback, you know, like that, that, that, I mean, until like recently, but like, that's all they've known.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't know anything for Drew Breeze's quarterback.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: And him and Sean Peyton and, and just really kind of, not kind of, completely changed the narrative and the perception of the New Orleans Saints.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I think one of the,
- 45:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like, if you didn't go, if you didn't win this rubies playing in person, I think you, I think people missed out because it always stood out to me.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I got to see him a couple of times in person as like like his size among like gladiators and he just out there just.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_01]: Ripping it, bro.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like it was ripping it, dicing defenses up.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: And it was, it was a sight to see.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_01]: It was truly a sight to see.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_01]: In person.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_02]: Toughest bricks.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_02]: It would never miss a game up until like, you know, the last couple of years of his career, just never miss a game, take the hits.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_02]: And just like the way he played the game, bro.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you listen to all the young quarterbacks,
- 46:17[SPEAKER_02]: talk about him.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_02]: He is the teaching tape.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_02]: He is the tape that the quarterback coach in high school or whatever puts on is like this is how you play quarterback from a fundamental level.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_02]: Footwork, throwing with your core power and you know the throw bolt, the motion, the, you know, where you put your hand and if you go look Google just drew these throwing,
- 46:42[SPEAKER_02]: and you look at every single picture.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's exactly the same, like his hand, even the split in his finger is like, everything is just like, it looks like the same picture, but you could go over like 10 to 15 years and it's the same picture.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_02]: He's unbelievable, right?
- 46:59[SPEAKER_02]: Like, just a consistency that he was able to play with and just outside of that, like, just the leadership and he said the standard to Ryan Oamstell was talking about him, I think it was on Rich Eisen.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_02]: I like, he said, Drew Brie has never once like just went off on the offensive line, like just, like, snap, he's, he's, he's, he's crazy like he would just never like just like him come up.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't pull an Eric McCoy or the Eric McCoy?
- 47:25[SPEAKER_02]: No, none of that, bro.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_02]: Like he just, that was a little more.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_02]: Even though, throughout, like, yeah, it's playing time.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_02]: He just slipped up, a lot of sad got him hit.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_02]: We know Drew Brie and got like, Brie's and got his, his ribs crushed crushed.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_02]: Pete and got his finger broke, just looking back at aerodonolite, oops, my bad.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_02]: Then we went off and offered the line, but he said he would just like uplift him.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_02]: He would cover like, look, man, I just need you to try and told a story about where he didn't mention what gaming was, but the only had, like, I'm thinking he could have been a Texans game.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_02]: When we played the Texans in the head, like 52nds left.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Monday night football, the opener.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think I think it could have been that game, but he didn't say what the game was.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_02]: But he said, Breeze didn't even call plays in that game.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_02]: Like he just said, to Ryan, you blocked this, you blocked this, and that's it.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, Huddle and he just went.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: And he just, and he said, hey, man, my time is just calling the players from there.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, yeah, that's that text in this game.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_02]: Because he didn't need to, he didn't need to call the play.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_02]: Like he knew what he was gonna do.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_02]: He was the field general bro.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I need it bro.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: I need that back bro.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_02]: I need it.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_02]: Just chill.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_02]: Just chill.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_02]: Chill man.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_02]: You just went in every game just snowing.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: I got a chance.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't got a chance.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_02]: You could have the worst thing we get.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_02]: The 31st defense 30 seconds defensively.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_02]: You still feel like, oh, I got a chance in that game.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_01]: Man, and it also goes to like teams like the Packers and the Colts and and just teams like like just I don't I don't I don't want to hear about I don't want to hear from anything from them ever again, bro.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_01]: I just I just don't.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's oh yeah, oh my god.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's just.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even a 1% 0.001, it makes me fucking sick for a make me sick, so we won't know officially tomorrow in terms of the Hall of Fame announcement and what have you do you I know you said this in a discord But I know you said you didn't think Dari got would we'll get in this round and I tend to agree Yeah, that's not anything that no not it just it just feels like it's
- 49:43[SPEAKER_02]: not his time just feels like it just like hearing more about the way the voting works in a process of breaking this up is just a mess.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, this is how we solve the bill bell to check thing.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going by the speaking on that, but it's like you can just tell it's just a mess.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like George already evidence is one of those ones where he'll probably have his
- 50:05[SPEAKER_02]: his like people that speak up for him like I know just Duncan has a vote so he probably speak up to speak up for him and a couple of people but.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_02]: I don't just don't think you'll have enough people in this corner, especially considered people he's going against, you know?
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's the part.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: And I've, both of we will people have said it, but just the notion that if Drew Brie is the first Bella Hall of Fame or the fact that the thing that's going to overshadowed this thing is going to be the whole bill of Bella Check thing is the most Drew Brie is me over state, state, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_02]: Always.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_02]: Always getting overshadowed.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_02]: Always getting overshadowed.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_02]: Always underrated.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_02]: Just a bad luck.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_02]: Just a bad luck, man.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, god damn.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_02]: I just can't guess what it is.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just thankful we was able to get the one.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_02]: Get the one simple ball, bro.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_02]: And it's...
- 51:02[SPEAKER_01]: It is as I've gotten older as a fan.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_01]: it just really hits home like how hard it is to fucking hard hard not not just not just when like not when like go like a deep playoff run and we've seen it post drew post champagne it's hard like when you don't have a good organizational structure and you have an organizational dysfunction it's hard to win
- 51:37[SPEAKER_01]: Kevin brought this point out to me in text message of that.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_01]: The saints are like very lucky that everything's working out with shock and and every, I'm not the saints so much, but go Benson, that everything shook-wise is working out, everything, you know, the past drafts working out, how they ended the season because the pelicans are a fucking dumpster fire.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like people who are a dumpster fire and
- 52:02[SPEAKER_01]: They kind of are able to be like, yeah, but like look at the same stuff.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like look how we end the season.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_01]: Don't look at Tyler shut you know what I mean, but like you try to shut up there like you But all that to say like it is it's I've just realized as a fan is so hard to win and
- 52:26[SPEAKER_01]: You is the whole, you know, notion of like you don't, you don't know how you know you don't know what you have until you miss it until it's gone.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: That is exactly what it's like when you, as a fan, have got to experience player like Drew Brie's over the years and then like he's just not, he's not a little bit of quarterback, I guess it just really kind of hits home like damn damn damn shit.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_01]: it will be a celebration and can it will be a celebration you know on all social medias you know if it is and hopefully it is confirmed from tomorrow that he'll be a first out of the hall of favor which will be well well fucking deserve as you wrap up thoughts on the Super Bowl oh man i'm i'm rooting for the sea hoax man i'm a roof of the sea hoax
- 53:20[SPEAKER_02]: No, no disrespect to you, great rules at all.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_02]: Love you, bro.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_02]: But I can't do no more pictures, bro.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_02]: You know, rob a craft.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: He'll get a massage on the stage.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_01]: If you get the trophy, like during, during, during.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_02]: hanging up there with dropping all that and now I'm good on that, you know, so that's it like, yeah, like, the same way.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_02]: I'm throwing those stones and then you know what I'm saying, it's just like, I'm a roof for the Seahawks bro, you know, got the seed, I'm rooting for him to, you know, make a big play in that game.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, for him to do his thing, Sam Donald, you know, I was like Sam Donald, but I like to meet USC, you know, I, I, I like him as a quarterback.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to, it's just a nice team of Rufa.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_02]: I like the way they do team.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_02]: just the way they drafted.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_02]: I like the style of the team.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_02]: Great special teams, great defense, you know, good good passing game, good winning game.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_02]: I just think they deserved the win and I think they good enough to win.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think they are the best team.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_02]: So this is going to be a good game, bro.
- 54:25[UNKNOWN]: I
- 54:26[SPEAKER_01]: I just have a feeling that like early in the game, maybe like we're like the first quarter and a half, maybe like almost two quarters, like it's gonna be a different struggle.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I think then I think at some point, I think the C-Ox just gonna go put the legs over their shoulders for and just wait a minute.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_02]: Wait a minute.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_02]: Out to the target.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_02]: Go to the target.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_02]: Just, but I will say, I will say,
- 54:50[SPEAKER_02]: He just strikes me as that type of coach today.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_02]: I suck up his sleeve.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like something, something that's gonna be like, okay.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_01]: Him and Josh, him and Josh Reganials, honestly.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like, just in a day.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_01]: Because if there's a, if there's a OC that can get a beat and crack the code against a defense like that, Josh would name him.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Reganials, easily.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_02]: He's wearing his coach ever, like, just too failed.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_02]: complete failure.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's like 90, you guys kind of feel like just terrible jobs.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_02]: Well, as a OC is just amazing.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_02]: I never I just don't understand it.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_02]: I don't get it.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_01]: One of those things was sometimes you kind of have to like know, know your role.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, stay in the singing lane.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_01]: Before we wrap up, I wanted to talk about this earlier.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_01]: Then I could slip my mind.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_01]: But then as we're talking about the Super Bowl kind of came back to me,
- 55:50[SPEAKER_01]: will be the Las Vegas Raider set coach.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_01]: It is hilarious like in hindsight that OC that we had on the staff last year.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a, let me a hit coach, bro.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_02]: I have an NHC.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_01]: Which is that we just added, we just added all good.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_01]: We just, we just get barely, we just didn't know.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, good.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, we had them first two weeks though.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_02]: First two weeks baby.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm interested in the readers, though, but I like readers on my little pet team and said to someone just to kind of watch and see how they build, yeah, man.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_02]: Just from a team build at standpoint, like just, because they get a new quarterback, picking up one overall, they got like 80, 90, billion, billion in caps, beans, new head coach.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to see how they build it.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_02]: Like what can they fix this thing?
- 56:44[SPEAKER_02]: Or is it just going to be the same old readers?
- 56:46[SPEAKER_02]: We've been watching for the past 25 years or whatever.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_01]: I had asked this in the discord, and I'm bringing up Clint Kuvyak because of connections, right?
- 56:55[SPEAKER_01]: Then if you want to know how the NFL works, just look at the all this hit coaching cycle, like all these new hit coaches getting hired or even the retrads getting hired and what they do, they go back to what they know, like.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_01]: Who did I have, who did I have actually years to go in Green Bay?
- 57:12[SPEAKER_01]: Who did, that's just how it worked in a, and I felt it's a very incestuous, uh, nepotism, ways, like, that's just what it is.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_01]: Same, same for, like, coaches when it comes to players.
- 57:26[SPEAKER_01]: And it wouldn't, I'm just going to throw this out there.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'd asked, like, would Clint Coupia potentially be, you know, the raid is off of the line is dog ship and they need, they need to upgrade that all for all of his purposes.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_01]: So I asked him potentially he would be interested in, and he's a race.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_01]: I was so like he didn't want, he didn't want to start a season of race when he was a safe OC.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_01]: He said that damn trash.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_01]: Just the show y'all, that like our eyes, we're not blind.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like we see again.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_01]: I was asked, like, or not, asked was posting me like, but what if he came out from Eric McCoy?
- 58:08[SPEAKER_01]: And I had me out.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_01]: I put it in.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_01]: Not a little bit.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: Now I don't understand.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_01]: Not, no, no, no, sorry.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a red, rains, rains, message, and I got me switched up.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like he's an older center, he has a lot of injury issues.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't like it wouldn't.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_01]: I would be very fascinated if that call was to be made and then what would be the compensation that they would position like what?
- 58:35[SPEAKER_01]: Be throwing out for it.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_01]: Because it would all be the compensation that would make you be like, hey Eric, thanks for your time here.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: But like we're good.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's not 30 yet.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, what, 28, 29.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_01]: Is he not 30?
- 58:57[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you 30 hit.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_02]: Might be 30.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_01]: No, you're right in 28.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_02]: It's a rate is pick.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I'm saying I take a third.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_02]: I take a third.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_02]: I take a third.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'll take it to the right.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_02]: If I could get a third rate is pick.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, bro.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_02]: That I do it for me.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_02]: Just because one
- 59:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like anything else, but like once you like experience life without somebody is like, man, I'm fine without you.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know what I'm saying?
- 59:31[SPEAKER_02]: I said, I don't call it, I'm just a better player than like look forward to her.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_02]: But look forward to the smile.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_02]: You're fine.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't die.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I'm saying?
- 59:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like I didn't, you know?
- 59:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_02]: So like, you know, this amount of money, like $18 million versus like $2 million.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_02]: And I could still be fine, and I could get a third rampant.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_01]: Hot there around pick it up.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I will say just like we talked about with Demario, you know, IQ, leadership, stuff like that.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'll leave it out the building that would be huge.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_02]: So, I'll be here.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'll consider it.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_02]: I would 100% consider that.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_01]: So Randy Major 50 or sorry, 65, say the one said, I think Sean's arrogance played a major role in those postseason failures.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I mean, you had the no call in one game.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_01]: You had the Minnesota miracle and another, the second Vikings, they, they, they got dominated that game.
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like, like, like, I don't, like, that game, like, the arrogance I plays in, in the fact of his team building.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_02]: Just the unwillingness to, like,
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_02]: Like, bro, like, Drew Breeze is at the end of his career.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_02]: Stop trying out these, you know, undrafted and, like, get some weapons on this thing, you know what I'm saying?

- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's, that would tell me it was like what is his failures, uh, as far as, like, not being able to reach, but, you know, he got us to the point, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like, we,
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_02]: He's the one of the, and I want to, one gripe I do have about him and even in the no call game, I do wish that he would kind of, just kind of.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_02]: Put it together a little bit because I think he and the whole team was so emotional and after I call Yeah, it was just friends in it that over time just look was a mess like that.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_02]: It was time series I don't remember.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember nobody remember.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_02]: It was just like I don't know anything for the over time breath Like I just and I've got the ball All the money over time we could have like if just calm down we could have just put together a nice little drive in one-to-game But obviously
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, screwed us, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, I'm not reassuring.
