SPEAKER_02: Welcome back to Confidence in Bloom, the space where women step into who they're becoming with courage, clarity, and self-trust.
• 0:39
SPEAKER_02: Today's conversation is deeply aligned with something so many of us quietly navigate: the space between who we were and who we're becoming, and the fear that lives right there in the middle.
• 0:50
SPEAKER_02: I'm joined by Adriana Matiscu, founder of Awakening Souls Council and creator of the Aidri Method.
• 0:57
SPEAKER_02: After experiencing a profound personal awakening, Adri made the bold decision to leave her career in law and step fully into guiding others through identity shifts.
• 1:08
SPEAKER_02: Her work builds spiritual insight with grounded transformation, helping women understand what's changing within them and how to move forward, even when fear is loud.
• 1:19
SPEAKER_02: Today we're talking about courage, identity, and what it really looks like to move forward when you don't feel ready.
• 1:27
  SPEAKER_02: Welcome, Adriana.
• 1:29
  SPEAKER_02: Hi Tina.
• 1:31
SPEAKER_02: So do you you want me to call you Adriana or Adri?
• 1:35
SPEAKER_02: Uh you can call me Adriana.
• 1:37
SPEAKER_02: Adriana, Audrey, Adi, whatever you want to call me.
• 1:42
SPEAKER_02: Whatever I want to call.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna stick with Adriana.
• 1:44
  SPEAKER_02: It's a beautiful.
• 1:50
  SPEAKER_02: Okay, that's good.
• 1:50
SPEAKER_02: We all have many names, don't we?
• 1:52
SPEAKER_02: Now you speak about awakening and identity shifts.
• 1:56
SPEAKER_02: What actually happens internally when someone begins to outgrow their old identity?
• 2:03
SPEAKER_01: Ooh, this is where we're starting.
• 2:06
  SPEAKER_01: Okay, let's go.
• 2:08
SPEAKER_01: Um, I can uh definitely talk about identity shift from my own experience.
• 2:16
SPEAKER_01: Um, because I really undertook one when I left the legal profession.
• 2:24
SPEAKER_01: Um, and um when I subsequently came out of the spiritual closet, so to speak.
• 2:36
SPEAKER_01: So I underwent a profound identity shift in in the in the in the months, years that actually, you know, followed what I called an awakening or awakenings, uh uh a series of um, which culminated, as I said, with me leaving the legal profession and doing what I do today in terms of spirituality, right?
• 3:05
  SPEAKER_01: So um, what's what's happening underneath?
• 3:11
SPEAKER_01: Um, you're starting to ask a different question, like who am I today?
• 3:22
  SPEAKER_01: Who am I becoming?
• 3:25
SPEAKER_01: So a series of questions in that space start to emerge.
• 3:31
SPEAKER_01: Um, and yeah, I might feel that at a point in time they are underneath, but then they will come to the surface, right?
• 3:42
SPEAKER_01: So, and a shift is happening.
• 3:46
SPEAKER_01: Sometimes, you know, could be very abrupt.
• 3:50
SPEAKER_01: Um that's like the before and after, and you don't recognize yourself anymore.
• 3:58
SPEAKER_01: Or sometimes it could come, you know, in it could come sorry in um in waves and little moments here and there, or big moments here and there, and then just suddenly, you know, you realize there was a life that you used to have and who you were, and now you find yourself in a different quote-unquote reality that actually is a shift or a change uh movement from what you used to be, right?
• 4:37
SPEAKER_02: So it could be like your thoughts are different, and you're finding yourself like interested and researching things that you kind of are it's unexpected, like something that you're like, oh my gosh.
• 4:51
SPEAKER_01: You you didn't used to that do that before, right?
• 4:54
SPEAKER_01: So now you are catching yourself.
• 4:58
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I'm doing this today, I'm might be doing something tomorrow.
• 5:04
SPEAKER_01: Uh yesterday I used to, oh yeah.
• 5:08
  SPEAKER_01: I'm like, there is a progression.
• 5:10
SPEAKER_02: There is yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 5:12
SPEAKER_01: So that's what I called an identity shift.
• 5:15
SPEAKER_01: Uh, and I focus in my work on right, right.
• 5:20
SPEAKER_02: So when when that's happening, I mean that I think fear is gonna show up really strong in those moments, right?
• 5:29
  SPEAKER_01: For sure, yeah.
• 5:31
SPEAKER_02: So, how do you help people distinguish like between the fear that's protecting them and the fear that's gonna keep them stuck?
• 5:41
SPEAKER_02: Because we're gonna feel both, right?
• 5:45
  SPEAKER_01: Spot on.
• 5:48
SPEAKER_01: Spot on, and let's talk about this because fear might be one of the one of my most favorite uh uh things to talk about.
• 6:00
  SPEAKER_01: Really?
• 6:00
  SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
• 6:01
SPEAKER_01: So to me, to me, I mean like we all know it comes in different forms, right?
• 6:06
SPEAKER_01: Uh fear of change, fear of failure, fear of success, fear of whatever, fill in the blank.
• 6:12
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, for me it was a fear of change.
• 6:17
  SPEAKER_01: Huge change.
• 6:18
SPEAKER_01: I would have to name it, yeah.
• 6:20
SPEAKER_01: The fear of change, right?
• 6:22
SPEAKER_01: Um, I was uh feeling all these shifts that were happening in me, and I could see, hear, feel the change, right?
• 6:34
SPEAKER_01: Um, it was just this uncertainty that was creating underneath that yeah, where fear I think lives.
• 6:47
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we all have it, right?
• 6:49
SPEAKER_01: We all have it, yeah.
• 6:50
SPEAKER_01: That actually, you know, I paid more attention to it.
• 6:54
SPEAKER_01: And to be honest, like when I was going through it, I couldn't put my finger on it.
• 6:59
SPEAKER_01: I was not aware like I am today, right?
• 7:03
SPEAKER_01: What was happening to me.
• 7:06
SPEAKER_01: But if I could reduce it to one uh feeling or um emotion that everybody can relate to is fear, right?
• 7:16
SPEAKER_01: As I said, in different forms could come, you know.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_01: So um fear of change, the uncertainty, and to realize that um there is a gap in between where fear loves to be, right?
• 7:35
SPEAKER_01: Because you are still uh pondering things.
• 7:40
SPEAKER_01: Um, and uh fear asks you like, um, are you sure you want to do that?
• 7:47
SPEAKER_01: Because that would mean you know you're losing your old identity, so to speak, right?
• 7:54
SPEAKER_01: Or you you don't know the unknown.
• 7:58
SPEAKER_01: That's you're sure you wanna be doing that, right?
• 8:03
SPEAKER_01: Because you don't fear likes familiar, right?
• 8:07
  SPEAKER_02: Right, right.
• 8:08
  SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
• 8:10
SPEAKER_01: Fear likes the familiar and and and wants to keep you there because it's safe.
• 8:16
SPEAKER_01: Uh but when when the change is coming and it's it's not just coming as an invitation, from my experience, it it it comes, the change comes as an imperative because you outgrew who you were, right?
• 8:34
SPEAKER_01: And now you are becoming something else, and you have to allow yourself to to to go with that.
• 8:44
SPEAKER_01: And fear has its place, and like you said, it is sometimes protective, right?
• 8:53
SPEAKER_01: Because as I said, it wants to keep you in the familiar, right?
• 8:58
SPEAKER_01: But I want to bring here in the discussion, if I may, the intuition, right, the spirituality.
• 9:08
SPEAKER_01: Uh, I have goosebumps right now just talking about it because the moment I uh I I became aware that such a tool is at my disposal, it became something that yes, intuition will tell me what it is, it will be annoying, and then fear will come as a reaction.
• 9:35
SPEAKER_01: And it will be like, uh, are you sure you want to do that?
• 9:41
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 9:42
SPEAKER_01: You know, things like that.
• 9:44
  SPEAKER_01: And um, wow.
• 9:47
  SPEAKER_02: So let me ask.
• 9:48
SPEAKER_02: So intuition, I mean, I I love learning about this intuition because we all have it, right?
• 9:56
SPEAKER_02: But we've all we've all learned, and maybe we were taught to ignore it, right?
• 10:03
SPEAKER_02: To sort of let it sit at the bottom of the of the sack, right?
• 10:08
SPEAKER_02: And fear has been louder than the intuition, right?
• 10:12
SPEAKER_02: And so when when we're going through a change like this, that intuition is you know, it's intriguing, but it's scary.
• 10:22
SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, and and I think we also picked up somewhere that intuition is silent and fear is louder, and maybe it is.
• 10:32
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I'm not saying it's not, it just coming in different flavors, and and um intuition will actually um want you to grow.
• 10:47
SPEAKER_01: That's when it was the moment when I when I realized it.
• 10:52
SPEAKER_01: It wants me to move forward, it wants the best for me.
• 10:56
SPEAKER_01: It it it where fear is like stay here, it's good.
• 11:03
SPEAKER_01: You you you you can still make it.
• 11:05
SPEAKER_01: You I'm like you made it before.
• 11:08
SPEAKER_01: You know, just just don't uh don't don't don't go from that space.
• 11:13
SPEAKER_01: We we we don't really like it, but it's okay, it's familiar, right?
• 11:18
SPEAKER_01: Right, but intuition wants you to grow, intuition wants you to take the next step.
• 11:23
SPEAKER_01: Intuition, um it's not silent, it's louder, actually.
• 11:29
SPEAKER_02: If we allow it, yeah.
• 11:31
SPEAKER_01: If we allow it, because there is a misconception, oh, intuition would be just quiet.
• 11:36
SPEAKER_01: No, sometimes it's loud, is loud, and it doesn't let you sleep at night, right?
• 11:42
SPEAKER_01: Because it wants your best, right?
• 11:45
SPEAKER_01: Right, it could come, you know, in different forms, and um I think they go together, in my opinion.
• 11:53
  SPEAKER_01: Intuition, fear follows, right?
• 11:56
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, because it's like intuition is the knowing, then fear is the reaction.
• 12:03
SPEAKER_02: Oh, but right, but but what it's almost like they question each other, yeah, yeah, and they tease each other, yeah.
• 12:11
SPEAKER_02: And let's see how far we can push, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 12:14
SPEAKER_01: Fear is is gets a bad rap, right?
• 12:17
SPEAKER_01: It does, um, but it does have its place, but it has its place, for sure it has its place, and if you listen to it, uh you can understand the protective role it plays, and um we have to listen to it, yeah, yeah.
• 12:38
SPEAKER_01: We just not stay in it, right?
• 12:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and let it, you know, govern your your your your life because you you can do that very well, and and that's where people get stuck, right?
• 12:54
SPEAKER_01: They listen, you know, to the to the fear, they don't know the difference between intuition and fear, right?
• 13:02
SPEAKER_01: To to to see what which one do they listen to.
• 13:06
  SPEAKER_02: Right.
• 13:06
SPEAKER_02: And we all know, like we all know that that voice in our head is you know the one that's saying, Are you sure you want to do that?
• 13:15
SPEAKER_02: Or that's gonna, you're gonna fail, or you're gonna get hurt.
• 13:18
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you've done this before, you know what happened.
• 13:21
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 13:22
SPEAKER_02: And we take that as our intuition or our guide, right?
• 13:28
SPEAKER_02: And so we have to learn how to differentiate the two.
• 13:32
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
• 13:33
SPEAKER_02: And then then the shift happens.
• 13:35
SPEAKER_02: That's when the shift happens.
• 13:37
SPEAKER_02: Uh okay, so I'm super excited to hear to learn more about this.
• 13:41
SPEAKER_02: So now um, now I work with women in my business, and many, many women, not just the women I work with, but many women I know, their fear is like being seen or being heard, or even worse, being judged, right?
• 13:58
SPEAKER_02: Especially when they're stepping into something new.
• 14:00
SPEAKER_02: I knew I feel it, I still feel it, and I've been doing this for you know six or eight years now.
• 14:05
SPEAKER_02: What do you see underneath that fear?
• 14:10
SPEAKER_01: Oh, coming out of uh the spiritual closet, if I'm gonna go back to that, because uh it's not original, by the way, but I love it, okay?
• 14:22
SPEAKER_01: Because it so feels like like that.
• 14:26
SPEAKER_01: Talking about the fear of being seen, judged.
• 14:31
SPEAKER_01: Oh, this lady used to be a lawyer, and now she's talking spirituality, right?
• 14:37
SPEAKER_01: And right embodying it, and um, and it's all about that these days, right?
• 14:44
SPEAKER_01: As like it took me some time to to to realize the vulnerability underneath it.
• 14:54
SPEAKER_01: Of course, that's what I would think it is, the vulnerability that we all encounter every day, right?
• 15:06
SPEAKER_02: And and I mean, just by your accent, I mean you didn't grow up here in North America, you come from you know a you're the European, you know, country, so your background is also very heavy into, I'm gonna assume like a religious background, and so the spirituality and religion, I mean, we all know that they're two different things, but sometimes some religions don't really accept the spirituality side of people, yes, and so you had to have deal with that as well.
• 15:38
  SPEAKER_01: Uh yes, it's true.
• 15:41
SPEAKER_01: Is is I I after I had my awakening, I tended not to have them so clearly uh delineated, right?
• 15:55
SPEAKER_01: That right religion is one thing and spirituality is one thing, and it's like they're set in stone, and and uh that's that's it, right?
• 16:05
SPEAKER_01: Right, because again, maybe that's how we thought we were taught, right?
• 16:12
SPEAKER_01: So I think, in my opinion, they overlap.
• 16:17
SPEAKER_01: So I believe in God, I continue to believe in God strongly, actually, in the source, the supreme uh uh universe, right?
• 16:28
SPEAKER_01: All those amazing things that actually uh like it's it doesn't pertain to religion and it doesn't pertain to spirituality either, right?
• 16:39
SPEAKER_01: So they share that, right?
• 16:41
SPEAKER_01: So to me, the moment I think I started not to put them in boxes, that's when things you know mesh together, and actually, I mean, my my religious background, even though I'm like, okay, I'll say it publicly, I don't go to church anymore, right?
• 17:02
SPEAKER_01: But that doesn't mean I do not pray because I I do, right?
• 17:09
SPEAKER_01: It's just a different facet of it.
• 17:13
SPEAKER_01: So all these questions that I started asking myself took me to a different to a different level, or to a not to imply that no, God no, that spirituality is is higher than religion.
• 17:29
SPEAKER_01: No, maybe to a different room in the house, yes.
• 17:32
SPEAKER_01: Ah, right, okay, right, yeah, that, yeah, yeah.
• 17:35
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and where I discovered, you know, that um they don't exclude each other, right?
• 17:40
SPEAKER_01: So they're in the same house, right?
• 17:42
  SPEAKER_01: Why not?
• 17:43
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 17:44
SPEAKER_02: They're connected, but they're not joined, right?
• 17:48
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, okay.
• 17:49
  SPEAKER_02: I love that.
• 17:50
  SPEAKER_02: I love that.
• 17:51
SPEAKER_02: Now, you created the Aidri method.
• 17:54
SPEAKER_02: I want you to walk us through that, right?
• 17:57
SPEAKER_02: But I I want to know like, how does the Adrian method support someone moving from confusion or fear, right?
• 18:08
SPEAKER_02: Into like a clarity and action form.
• 18:12
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so it's Adri, that's short for my name, Adriana, right?
• 18:19
  SPEAKER_01: So it's A D R I.
• 18:22
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 18:24
SPEAKER_01: Um so A stands for awakening, D for decoding, R for reconstructing, and I for integrating.
• 18:36
  SPEAKER_01: So okay.
• 18:39
SPEAKER_01: Once I discovered myself, the methods just fell into place, and fell into yes.
• 18:48
SPEAKER_01: Um, it's all these stages that I was going through, and now I can give them a name and a structure and a framework, and there is a method to it.
• 19:04
SPEAKER_01: So um that helped me as well going through my through my journey.
• 19:13
  SPEAKER_02: Right, okay.
• 19:14
SPEAKER_02: So I wanna I have a question about you said it helped you like get through it.
• 19:20
SPEAKER_02: What what is it exactly?
• 19:23
SPEAKER_01: The shift, the awakening, like the change, the transformation, right?
• 19:30
SPEAKER_02: Right, okay, so from lawyer to what you're doing right now, awakening souls counsel.
• 19:38
SPEAKER_02: So okay, okay, yeah, okay, I love this.
• 19:43
SPEAKER_02: Okay, now that okay, so that scares me thinking about it, right?
• 19:48
SPEAKER_02: Now I've gone through a transformation myself, right?
• 19:51
SPEAKER_02: But I also didn't come from like a corporate profession like yourself into like a spirituality coaching type of you know, position where you are now.
• 20:03
SPEAKER_02: So that that's fearful, right?
• 20:06
SPEAKER_02: But it took you a lot of courage, right?
• 20:10
SPEAKER_02: In like in real life, like that's courage.
• 20:12
SPEAKER_02: You have to have a lot of courage.
• 20:14
  SPEAKER_02: Well said, yes.
• 20:15
SPEAKER_01: You you put the you yeah, you put a finger on it.
• 20:19
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, exactly.
• 20:20
SPEAKER_02: So I want I I want to know like the the highlights, right?
• 20:26
SPEAKER_02: Of all of the stuff that you went through, like like the messy stuff, the in-between stuff, like the stuff that was like, oh my god, I know I'm on the right path, and the stuff that went, I don't know, maybe that's not what I want to be doing.
• 20:41
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 20:43
SPEAKER_01: Can we start maybe with an understanding what courage is, or at least how I see it?
• 20:50
SPEAKER_01: Um, so David Hawkins has this pyramid of consciousness.
• 20:58
SPEAKER_01: I'm pretty sure you heard about it.
• 21:00
SPEAKER_02: I've heard of it, I've never actually seen it, but I've heard of it.
• 21:03
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I haven't tried it.
• 21:04
SPEAKER_01: Maybe your listeners can relate to this as well.
• 21:07
SPEAKER_01: If not, I'll just give uh where it shifted for me because very well that was the that realization that now I'm courageous.
• 21:18
SPEAKER_01: And how do I know that I have the courage to do it?
• 21:25
SPEAKER_01: So Hawkins talks about the uh the courage being at heart level.
• 21:33
SPEAKER_01: If you go on the, I don't want to get technical, but if you go on the pyramid, he assigns, you know, different uh frequencies to to different emotions, and courage he says it.
• 21:46
  SPEAKER_01: I agree.
• 21:47
SPEAKER_01: A lot of people are saying this.
• 21:49
SPEAKER_01: Courage sits at a tipping as a tipping point, right?
• 21:55
SPEAKER_01: The the heart, heart level.
• 21:58
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
• 21:59
  SPEAKER_01: So Courage.
• 22:02
SPEAKER_01: I don't know where I heard this, but um oh, it might have been Brene Brown, somebody that I really, I really, really loved.
• 22:11
SPEAKER_01: I really love she talks about courage coming from the French le cœur, which means exactly heart.
• 22:20
  SPEAKER_01: Oh.
• 22:23
SPEAKER_01: So bringing these two together for me and the chakras that are okay.
• 22:30
SPEAKER_01: I'm going to spirituality and spirituality now, but the chakras you know that Hawking also maps in in the pyramid, it became clear to me that's what it takes, courage to actually go from your lower chakras to your highest ones, right?
• 22:52
SPEAKER_01: So courage sits in the middle at heart level and it moves the things.
• 22:59
  SPEAKER_01: It's just okay, okay.
• 23:04
SPEAKER_01: So you have all these things coming at you, right?
• 23:08
SPEAKER_02: But when you take the action, so it's the action, whether you whether you're feeling the fear or you're feeling the courage, it's taking the action that me moves you through the messy and in-betweens.
• 23:24
SPEAKER_01: And that means you got your courage, right?
• 23:27
SPEAKER_01: So it's it's it's and and and and it is, you know, the the messy stuff, like you said, right?
• 23:37
SPEAKER_01: The the day-to-day, the uh yes, it's not glamorous, in other words, it's not glamorous.
• 23:46
SPEAKER_02: Well, no, like I'm imagining like you're doing your day-to-day stuff, but you're having all these uh like thoughts coming through, and you're like, but that doesn't fit with what I'm doing right now or what I want to do tomorrow, right?
• 23:59
SPEAKER_02: Like it doesn't, it doesn't work, right?
• 24:02
  SPEAKER_02: That's the that's what I imagine the messy in-betweens to be.
• 24:06
SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, of course, because it's the gap, right?
• 24:09
SPEAKER_01: As I as I mentioned before, uh where you were before, and now uh you want to go to a different level, or you are there, right?
• 24:20
SPEAKER_01: But you cannot reconcile all these things.
• 24:23
SPEAKER_01: So I think courage comes in place in that moment.
• 24:28
SPEAKER_01: That yes, you have all the thoughts, yes, you have all the feelings, yes, you uh know it intellectually and and uh emotionally, right?
• 24:40
  SPEAKER_01: But what moves it?
• 24:43
  SPEAKER_01: What what is that?
• 24:45
SPEAKER_01: And then you take a leap of faith, huh?
• 24:49
SPEAKER_01: So you have that is the courage, no matter what, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 24:53
SPEAKER_01: And no matter what, because yeah, fear will keep you in the same place, but courage moves moves you as maybe as a tool, even, right?
• 25:07
SPEAKER_02: If you wanna look at it like that, and it keeps you in your comfort zone.
• 25:12
SPEAKER_02: Well, depending on how big the leap is, it keeps us in our comfort zone without going over that fear line, right?
• 25:20
SPEAKER_02: Like I might be scared, but I'm okay.
• 25:24
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna just push the limit just a little bit until I'm at the point where no, this is where I need to go.
• 25:30
SPEAKER_02: This is the direction, these are the steps I want to take.
• 25:33
SPEAKER_01: And going back maybe to Brenneth Brown, she talks a lot about how the vulnerability is the place of courage.
• 25:45
SPEAKER_02: Because that's where we make the most action.
• 25:49
SPEAKER_01: Because when the shame goes away, when the guilt goes away, all this I call them blower chakra, right?
• 25:57
SPEAKER_01: Emotions and feelings, which Hawkins talks also about, when those try to begin to dissolve, then undeniably, right, you come and see.
• 26:12
SPEAKER_01: Oh, oh, okay, I'm in a different place.
• 26:15
  SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm I'm I'm somewhere like elevated.
• 26:17
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, yeah, and I want to make a different, different move.
• 26:22
SPEAKER_01: I want to go in a different direction because whatever kept me in the past, maybe you know, I feel that didn't serve me very well, right?
• 26:32
  SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
• 26:33
SPEAKER_02: Now, okay, so now I'm wondering if we're talking, okay, fear.
• 26:38
SPEAKER_02: I mean, we all have fear, right?
• 26:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but we're also like, you know, I mean, myself and the women that I work with, we're also talking a lot about life purpose, right?
• 26:48
SPEAKER_02: So now if we're talking fear and life purpose, I mean, we all some of us know it.
• 26:56
SPEAKER_02: Some some people like they just know what I'm here for.
• 26:58
SPEAKER_02: Like you've told me yourself, you know exactly what you're here for, right?
• 27:04
  SPEAKER_02: I didn't know though before.
• 27:06
  SPEAKER_02: I didn't know before.
• 27:07
SPEAKER_02: You didn't know that before.
• 27:08
SPEAKER_02: You thought that being a lawyer was your purpose, and right?
• 27:13
SPEAKER_02: I wonder, okay, so there's many of us I think that are in the same kind of shoes, right?
• 27:18
SPEAKER_02: Does now uh does that not carry a little bit of fear, not knowing what your purpose is?
• 27:24
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I would think so, like it does for me a little bit.
• 27:28
SPEAKER_01: I think, oh, I what came to me is that knowing your purpose carries fear, not knowing your purpose cares carries fear.
• 27:41
SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, I could see that, right?
• 27:42
SPEAKER_01: I could see that, yeah.
• 27:44
SPEAKER_01: But but uh one is not knowing, right, and staying where you think you know you should be, and is not the place for to to be, right?
• 27:58
SPEAKER_01: And the other one is knowing your purpose now, even though there is this fear of change, you still move, and with a little bit of ex excitement and intr and intrigue, right?
• 28:11
SPEAKER_02: Like you know what you're here for, right?
• 28:15
SPEAKER_01: Because going to purpose now, right?
• 28:18
SPEAKER_01: Once you know it, you cannot not know it.
• 28:23
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 28:23
SPEAKER_01: You can't unknown once you've seen it or heard it.
• 28:27
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, it it is that, and and for for most of I mean, I I think everybody goes differently through this, right?
• 28:36
SPEAKER_01: So sometimes uh we know the purpose, it's just that we push it down, right?
• 28:43
SPEAKER_02: Because it's not comfortable, right?
• 28:46
SPEAKER_02: Or we don't want it to be.
• 28:48
  SPEAKER_02: I don't want to do that.
• 28:49
  SPEAKER_02: I don't want to do that.
• 28:49
SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, yes, I have a certain expectation.
• 28:53
SPEAKER_01: Oh, that doesn't fit, you know, with the other thing, and so forth.
• 28:57
SPEAKER_01: So all these things that go through our lives and through our minds and through our relationships and everything, right?
• 29:05
SPEAKER_01: Is realizing all these things, they don't come at once.
• 29:12
SPEAKER_01: Maybe you know, you do it on your by yourself, sorry, or maybe you hire a coach that helps you go through that, right?
• 29:20
SPEAKER_01: Because it's it's to me, purpose sits somewhere at the very top.
• 29:29
SPEAKER_01: That is a top-down thing for me.
• 29:33
SPEAKER_01: So once I realize my purpose, everything fell into place.
• 29:43
SPEAKER_01: Because I mean everything because for me was leaving my career behind, and it was everything, it's in in terms of you know, my identity as a as a uh professionally, right?
• 29:57
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 29:58
SPEAKER_02: Um so if you're questioning the whole, like this is my purpose, but this is who I identify, how how does that relate then to you?
• 30:11
SPEAKER_02: Like, well, not just to you, but to people in general.
• 30:14
SPEAKER_02: Like, how do we, you know, if it's if they're if we're living two different things, like we're we're we identify as this and our purpose is this, there's that gap in between.
• 30:24
SPEAKER_02: How how do we relate it?
• 30:26
SPEAKER_02: How do we make it happen?
• 30:29
SPEAKER_01: So the we're talking about two concepts, right?
• 30:34
SPEAKER_01: The purpose and the identity, right?
• 30:37
SPEAKER_01: And as I said to me, purpose sits at top, and the identity is right beneath it, and they talk to each other constantly, and they inform each other, and they are so related, in my opinion, right?
• 30:54
SPEAKER_01: Because the purpose answers the why.
• 30:58
SPEAKER_01: Why am I on on this planet?
• 31:01
SPEAKER_01: Or why am I doing it?
• 31:03
SPEAKER_02: And the identity is the how.
• 31:05
SPEAKER_01: How the identity is who I am to do that.
• 31:10
  SPEAKER_01: Who am I?
• 31:11
SPEAKER_01: Because I'm like, it's it's identity answers the question, who am I?
• 31:15
SPEAKER_01: And I have a role, and I have you know, a certain uh profession, and I have a certain and it's not just roles, right?
• 31:25
SPEAKER_01: But is the who am I?
• 31:27
SPEAKER_01: Uh going to the core of everything that you stand for at the end, right?
• 31:35
SPEAKER_01: But knowing your purpose, why are you doing it shapes the identity, and I think the identity shapes the purpose as well, right?
• 31:47
SPEAKER_01: Because they go hand in hand, and when they are in harmony, that's when everything clicks.
• 31:56
SPEAKER_02: Okay, oh my gosh, okay, I get that.
• 31:59
  SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, okay.
• 32:00
SPEAKER_02: So that is that is the awakening that we're talking about, right?
• 32:04
SPEAKER_02: It's when we realize our purpose and our identity and how to shift them together, yes, and oof, so yeah, very well said, actually, right?
• 32:19
SPEAKER_01: I don't want to to speak in absolutes, but that's how that's the general sense to me.
• 32:26
SPEAKER_01: And I've done research on that, and and and it became the answer for for me.
• 32:35
SPEAKER_01: And this is how Audri came to be, right?
• 32:39
SPEAKER_01: Because reconstructing in in Adri, the the method, reconstructing is I now understand this identity, what is about.
• 32:51
SPEAKER_01: And if it's lagging anywhere, right, I I bring it, you know, where where where it needs to be, or I just recognize it.
• 33:02
SPEAKER_01: Oh, the oh, that's that's me, right?
• 33:07
SPEAKER_01: Because yeah, the purpose was revealed to me, right?
• 33:10
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 33:11
SPEAKER_01: And I go to decoding and I'm like, what does that really mean?
• 33:15
SPEAKER_01: What what what does it mean exactly?
• 33:17
  SPEAKER_01: Because I I I don't know.
• 33:19
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, right, right, right.
• 33:21
SPEAKER_01: And then it informs the reconstructing, realizing, oh, that's my identity.
• 33:28
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's who I am, right?
• 33:30
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, it's it's yeah, you you you you you see now clearly.
• 33:38
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, this is who I am, right?
• 33:40
SPEAKER_01: And and the uh and then when you go to um to integrating, sorry, is how do I live from that point on?
• 33:53
SPEAKER_01: Because now I have all these things that they have been revealed to me, I came to realize them, right?
• 34:02
SPEAKER_01: This is with who I have become in the process, right?
• 34:10
SPEAKER_02: Or who I've been becoming all along, correct?
• 34:14
SPEAKER_01: Right, and this is who I am today, it's not who I used to be.
• 34:21
SPEAKER_01: And how do I follow that in my life?
• 34:26
  SPEAKER_01: Because awakening, right?
• 34:29
SPEAKER_01: Everybody thinks how might be this glamorous thing, right?
• 34:33
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yay, we're awakened, right?
• 34:36
SPEAKER_01: But it's not always like that.
• 34:39
  SPEAKER_01: No, it's it's it's most times it's people.
• 34:45
SPEAKER_01: It's is is I'm so glad you said that because we're talking about fear, right?
• 34:50
SPEAKER_02: We're talking about all the other things.
• 34:54
SPEAKER_02: Some of us don't want to identify as something other than what we've always known.
• 35:00
SPEAKER_02: Oh, people have expectation of us.
• 35:02
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, oh, Adriana is a lawyer.
• 35:06
SPEAKER_01: Sorry, but yeah, people, I heard it.
• 35:08
  SPEAKER_01: People are crazy.
• 35:09
  SPEAKER_01: I are you crazy?
• 35:10
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 35:11
SPEAKER_01: Are you crazy what you're doing now?
• 35:13
SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, but I know my purpose, I cannot ignore it.
• 35:16
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so okay, so I'm gonna ask you a question, and I have a feeling that most of our listeners can figure this out, but I want you to answer it in your words.
• 35:25
SPEAKER_02: How does someone know that they are awakening?
• 35:30
  SPEAKER_01: Huh?
• 35:33
SPEAKER_01: I people are looking at symptoms most of the time.
• 35:41
SPEAKER_01: So I am awakening, and now suddenly um I know I have a higher frequency, a higher perception, I got my my intuition, right?
• 35:54
SPEAKER_01: All these good things, and could be that as well, could be an event, like an awakening.
• 36:02
SPEAKER_01: Um, and uh could be one major one, or as I mentioned before, many little ones, right?
• 36:11
  SPEAKER_01: That that that happened.
• 36:14
SPEAKER_01: Um, how do you know for sure you are awakening?
• 36:20
SPEAKER_01: That's what I am trying to figure out, and you can figure out you know, by yourself as well.
• 36:29
  SPEAKER_01: I have a tool, right?
• 36:31
SPEAKER_01: So um, and it's my interpretation and my my way of of seeing these things, right?
• 36:41
SPEAKER_01: So um it's a word that awakening is a word that's probably in my opinion, one of the most misunderstood words in spirituality, and um can we know for sure right away?
• 37:02
SPEAKER_01: I know I knew for sure when it happened to me, but in the like you mentioned, the in-between which can take you know, people a short time or a long time, even years, right, and decades to realize that.
• 37:22
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, is where I'm helping, right?
• 37:29
SPEAKER_01: Deciphering this awakening word that carries, you know, so many interpretations, and if you ask a hundred people, a hundred people will tell you different things, right?
• 37:41
SPEAKER_02: So, okay, so the the awakening isn't necessarily spirituality, the awakening is that idea that comes to you where it shows the connection between your purpose and your identity.
• 37:56
SPEAKER_02: It doesn't have to be a spirituality type of change.
• 38:00
SPEAKER_02: No, no, it's more of I'm not doing what I'm meant to be doing.
• 38:05
SPEAKER_02: So how is that happening?
• 38:08
  SPEAKER_02: Oh my goodness.
• 38:09
  SPEAKER_02: Okay, all right.
• 38:10
SPEAKER_02: Okay, so I love that because I mean, I'll be honest, I thought that that's what we were gonna be talking about.
• 38:16
SPEAKER_02: Like I thought we were gonna, you know, that's what you were doing, is you're helping people find where they fit with their spirituality, but that's not it at all.
• 38:25
SPEAKER_02: You're just in this the spirituality is helping you to find your purpose and your identity.
• 38:32
  SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes, okay.
• 38:35
SPEAKER_02: So now you just bridged the gap for me.
• 38:39
  SPEAKER_02: So this is great.
• 38:40
  SPEAKER_02: Now good.
• 38:42
SPEAKER_02: As we have a tool, as we say, one salt at a time.
• 38:45
SPEAKER_02: So you mentioned you have a tool.
• 38:51
SPEAKER_02: Now, yeah, I know that you have an ebook, and we're gonna be adding that to the show notes with this podcast.
• 38:58
SPEAKER_02: Um, and now I think your ebook is called Are You Awakening?
• 39:02
  SPEAKER_02: How question mark?
• 39:03
  SPEAKER_02: Are you awakening?
• 39:05
  SPEAKER_02: Are you awakening?
• 39:06
SPEAKER_02: Okay, yeah, so maybe explain to our uh listeners, you know, what what this tool is and what it'll do for them.
• 39:13
SPEAKER_01: Um it will take you through okay.
• 39:17
SPEAKER_01: The the the title is Are You Awakening?
• 39:22
SPEAKER_01: How do you know for sure when awakening may be one of the misunderstood words in spirituality?
• 39:32
SPEAKER_01: So it it walks you through discovering if you are awakening or not, right?
• 39:41
  SPEAKER_01: Simple like that.
• 39:42
SPEAKER_01: A lot of people are are still questioning that, and like you said, I'm like all these events that are happening in our lives, I'm like, they lead somewhere in my experience and in in my work, they lead to a soul awakening, hence the soul awakening souls council.
• 40:03
  SPEAKER_01: Of course, right, right.
• 40:06
SPEAKER_01: So it's it's a culmination that day after day takes you somewhere, right?
• 40:16
SPEAKER_01: But along the way, if you recognize that you are awakening, it might come sooner for you that day that came to.
• 40:27
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I took a 20 plus years detour in my legal profession to come to a to the awakening, to the realization that I'm a humanitarian, I'm a healer.
• 40:42
SPEAKER_01: I could not do it in the legal profession, to be honest.
• 40:46
  SPEAKER_01: How?
• 40:47
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, right?
• 40:49
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 40:49
SPEAKER_02: No, they would all look at you like, are you crazy?
• 40:52
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, of course.
• 40:54
SPEAKER_01: A lot of people still don't know, so right, but they're gonna find out with this occasion, okay?
• 41:00
SPEAKER_01: So thank you, Tina, for facilitating that because it's amazing, and it took so much courage.
• 41:10
SPEAKER_01: I you you you you know, right?
• 41:13
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, yes, I know.
• 41:15
SPEAKER_01: Just to be able to be in a class where you know there was not spiritual people, and I could say, I was like, oh, okay, I think I'm just gonna say it.
• 41:25
SPEAKER_01: I'm just gonna say it because this is who I am today, and I cannot negate that anymore.
• 41:30
  SPEAKER_01: Exactly, exactly.
• 41:30
SPEAKER_01: And that's that's my new identity, yes.
• 41:33
SPEAKER_01: And uh, I discover my purpose, and and my my my life is reconstructing around that, and I have to leave continue living because I cannot go to a monastery.
• 41:45
SPEAKER_01: I could, but you wouldn't get you well, you wouldn't do much, right?
• 41:49
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because you're yeah from my experience, I want to help people to to show them there is a way, right?
• 41:58
SPEAKER_01: And I went through my awakening for a reason, I think, right?
• 42:03
SPEAKER_01: To help people while I fulfill my purpose, to also help them understand that actually um this this is uh not supposed to take you know 20 plus years, you know, to realize your purpose and and to discover who you are.
• 42:21
SPEAKER_02: Right, especially if you're already curious, like if you're all like some people don't have because everybody's talking about this awakening these days, yeah.
• 42:30
SPEAKER_02: But if but if you're in that process of, you know, like what am I doing here?
• 42:35
SPEAKER_02: What am I really doing here?
• 42:37
SPEAKER_02: Right, this is where you can help them make it come to them faster, you know, rather than like really slow like a turtle, right?
• 42:46
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and painful and prolonging it and not knowing what direction to take and being in this fog constantly.
• 42:53
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, oh, okay, which direction?
• 42:56
  SPEAKER_01: What step?
• 42:57
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so that's what you help them find their way.
• 43:01
SPEAKER_02: Now, for someone who is in that position, like they're kind of feeling frozen, right?
• 43:06
SPEAKER_02: But they also know that they're here for something more.
• 43:09
SPEAKER_02: What's one grounded step that they could take today uh to begin kind of moving forward towards that purpose?
• 43:18
SPEAKER_01: I hope they hear our discussion and something, you know, something uh uh a light bulb just comes, you know, in their in their head, and they have a aha moment, an insight, but whatever is for them to to to realize that awakening is a process, in my opinion.
• 43:44
SPEAKER_01: And while it could be a thundering, you know, event as well, it's also small, small things along the way, right?
• 43:55
SPEAKER_01: And to recognize it, I think is the first.
• 44:00
  SPEAKER_01: Step, right?
• 44:01
  SPEAKER_01: Am I awakening?
• 44:03
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 44:04
SPEAKER_01: Did you ask yourself that question, right?
• 44:07
SPEAKER_01: Because once I heard the word in the in the collective, right?
• 44:14
SPEAKER_01: I was like, hmm, is this what's happening to me?
• 44:18
SPEAKER_01: And then I went, you know, ah, I'm like, am I awakening?
• 44:23
  SPEAKER_01: I I am I am yeah, I'm I'm on that path.
• 44:27
SPEAKER_01: Uh there is something bigger than me that is being uh shown to me, revealed to me.
• 44:34
SPEAKER_01: Um, and I took a past life regression session, and that's when it clicked big time for me.
• 44:44
SPEAKER_02: When oh my gosh, that's another hour's conversation.
• 44:47
  SPEAKER_02: I already know that.
• 44:48
SPEAKER_02: So we're not gonna get too far into that, but that's how you learned.
• 44:54
SPEAKER_01: Yes, and I I if I if I may just mention one thing that also contributed uh uh a little bit more to this.
• 45:03
SPEAKER_01: There is this uh this book that I read, it's called the the two-minute rule.
• 45:12
SPEAKER_01: I oh sorry, I read, not I wrote the the two-minute rule by by Julie Ryan, one of my medical intuition teachers.
• 45:21
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay, okay.
• 45:22
  SPEAKER_01: Two-minute rule.
• 45:24
SPEAKER_01: Okay, and it goes back to the fear concept, and she talks beautifully about if if in two minutes this fear doesn't kill you, meaning the car is coming and it will hit you if you're in the traffic.
• 45:42
SPEAKER_01: I'm paraphrasing, of course, right?
• 45:44
SPEAKER_01: Of course, yeah, the tiger is chasing you, so you have fear in those moments, right?
• 45:50
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 45:51
  SPEAKER_01: Two minutes, two minutes.
• 45:53
SPEAKER_01: If it does not kill you, if it's not real, you have the moment where you can embrace the fact that that fear can shift you, and is that fear was irrational.
• 46:16
SPEAKER_01: The fear of the tiger, the fear of the incoming.
• 46:19
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 46:20
SPEAKER_02: So that's kind of like my life flashed in front of me, right?
• 46:23
SPEAKER_02: You hear about those people that my their life flashed in front of them, and all of a sudden they're doing things that they never did before.
• 46:30
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it took, I'm like, I I think in my opinion, two minutes, you know, it's it's too much, but like you realize instantly, oh, is this fear real or is it rational?
• 46:43
SPEAKER_01: Is it like to me that tool I I use it today, like every time when fear comes into my my my awareness, yeah, yeah.
• 46:57
SPEAKER_01: Is this gonna kill me, or is it fear that I just just fear because of other other reasons but not the truth, right?
• 47:06
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, I really love that.
• 47:09
  SPEAKER_02: That's really good advice.
• 47:10
SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, no, the two minute rule fear.
• 47:14
SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much for joining me today.
• 47:16
SPEAKER_02: This has been so awesome.
• 47:18
SPEAKER_02: I know we can talk for another hour, two, maybe three, because there's so much more to this, right?
• 47:26
SPEAKER_02: But please, you know, like reach out to Adriana because she's she's a fountain of knowledge for sure.
• 47:32
SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much, Adriana.
• 47:34
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I thank you for uh letting me, you know, introduce my new Audri method.
• 47:39
SPEAKER_01: So and the gift, you know, to your listeners.
