- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. The DOJ and Pam Bondi had plenty of
- 0:11time to go through the Epstein files and redact the
- 0:14names of the survivors, and instead of doing that, what
- 0:18they did was redact the names of people that were
- 0:23allegedly involved with Jeffrey Epstein's bullshit, whether that's enabling it
- 0:30or being involved in the abuse itself. Those people had
- 0:33their names redacted, but the survivors, at least over one
- 0:38hundred of them, their information was left out there for
- 0:42the whole world to see. And of course that's led
- 0:44to a whole bunch of harassment for a lot of
- 0:46these women. And is it shocking considering people like Anna
- 0:51Paulina Luna, who have no idea what they're even talking about,
- 0:54start dropping grenades and calling these women traffickers themselves. You
- 0:59have to be very with what you're saying. If you
- 1:02want to say that certain women help Jeffrey Epstein, the
- 1:05answer is yes, they did the Core four. But if
- 1:10you're going to try and act like these girls who
- 1:12were fourteen, fifteen, sixteen years old and who were groomed
- 1:15and had this behavior normalized to them are traffickers themselves.
- 1:19And on top of that, you have the President of
- 1:21the United States calling it a hoax. Yeah, you're going
- 1:25to draw out the crazies. You're going to draw out
- 1:27people who think that they're helping the president fight his
- 1:31hoax by harassing these women or calling these women traffickers
- 1:36or prostitutes. And that whole narrative began when Anna Paulina
- 1:40Luna started dropping grenades. So now the survivors have banded
- 1:45together and they're suing the Trump administration and Google over
- 1:49the release of their private information. And in this article
- 1:53from NBC, we're going to dive a little bit deeper
- 1:56headline Epstein survivors sue Trump administration, Google over release of
- 2:01private information. This article was authored by Chloe Atkins. A
- 2:08group of Epstein's survivors filed a class action lawsuit against
- 2:12the Trump administration in Google on Thursday over the disclosure
- 2:16of personal information found in the release of the files
- 2:19related to the late sex offender over the past several months.
- 2:24And I can already hear the counter to this, Oh, well,
- 2:27you wanted all this information out there, now it's out there,
- 2:30and you're suing people. Well, yeah, they didn't follow the law.
- 2:34You might want to add that part, you know, the
- 2:36part where the survivor names should have been redacted and hidden.
- 2:41That didn't really happen, did it. And with all the
- 2:43man hours and all the complaining we heard from Todd
- 2:46Blanche and the DOJ, you'd think that they'd be on
- 2:49top of it. But I guess this was just, you know,
- 2:51a coincidence as well, right, just more negligence. The United States,
- 2:56acting through the DOJ, made a deliberate policy choice to
- 3:00prioritize rapid, large volume disclosure over protection of Epstein's survivors privacy,
- 3:06the plaintiff said, adding that the Justice Department outed approximately
- 3:10one hundred survivors of the convicted sexual predator, publishing their
- 3:14private information and identifying them to the world. And when
- 3:19I was going through the files, I saw names from
- 3:22Florida that I had never seen before. Those names were
- 3:26kept under guard for years, almost impossible to get that information.
- 3:32Then all of a sudden, all those names are released.
- 3:35And remember a lot of those girls who were women
- 3:38now down in Florida, they didn't want anything to do
- 3:40with any of this. And while I think that it's
- 3:45good to get everything out into the light. We can't
- 3:49force people to tell their story. We can't force people
- 3:52to relive trauma. And when you out people like this,
- 3:57that's what you're doing. They have to answer questions. Their
- 4:01kids are going to talk to them, Hey, mom, what
- 4:03the hell? And a lot of people are trying to
- 4:06avoid it. But the government, of course, they couldn't be
- 4:10bothered to do their job correctly, and not only their job,
- 4:13but what the law requires. While the government later withdrew
- 4:18survivors personal information from the publicly released files, the survivors
- 4:22said that online entities like Google continuously republish it, refusing
- 4:27victims please to take it down. Specifically, the plaintiff said
- 4:31their personal information continues to be displayed in search results
- 4:35and AI generated content. Unfortunately, once something gets on the Internet,
- 4:41very difficult to get it off. And unfortunately, once something's
- 4:44out there, it's out there. All it takes is one
- 4:47person downloading it. Right, Survivors now face for new trauma.
- 4:53Strangers call them, email them, threaten their physical safety, and
- 4:56accuse them of conspiring with Epstein, when they are in
- 5:00reality Epstein's victims. The complaint reads, and the marching orders,
- 5:04of course come from Donald Trump, But I placed the
- 5:08blame on Anna Paulina Luna and that tweet she made
- 5:11a few weeks ago calling these girls human traffickers, saying
- 5:16that some of the women that were at the hearing
- 5:19were human traffickers themselves, and it's telling right. She's more
- 5:22mad about that than she is about Gallaine Maxwell getting
- 5:25the homie hook up, or the fact that she didn't
- 5:28show up to talk the less Wexner, or the fact
- 5:31that no investigation really ever happened in the beginning where
- 5:35Wexner or in Dyke or Khan or anybody important was
- 5:38ever spoken to. But she's real mad about these women
- 5:43who were abused, who became traffickers. She knew exactly what
- 5:48she was doing and she got the result she was
- 5:50looking for. And everything about Anna Paulina Luna turns me off.
- 5:57She's an influencer, LARPing as a low and that shit
- 6:01is dangerous. The Justice Department and Google did not immediately
- 6:07respond to request for comment on Thursday night. Yeah, well,
- 6:11I don't expect the DOJ to say a word. They're
- 6:15infallible here. They've never done anything wrong, and every decision
- 6:18they've ever made is to make the survivor's life better.
- 6:23Isn't that what Todd Blanche told us, Todd Baby Billy Blanche,
- 6:27the world's biggest dumb dumb. The truth is, this has
- 6:29never been about the survivors. It's about protecting Donald Trump
- 6:33and Donald Trump's friends. That's what it's all about. These
- 6:36fools don't care about the survivors. Hell, Pam Bond, you
- 6:38won't even turn around and acknowledge their existence. But they
- 6:42care about the survivors. Huh, everything's based on the survivors. No,
- 6:46it's not. Sorry. In a February second letter to Judges
- 6:52Richard Berman and Paul Ingelmeyer in the Southern District of
- 6:55New York, US attorney J. Clayton said the Justice Department
- 6:59was in the process removing documents that included victim identifying information.
- 7:04The Department has worked all hours through the weekend from
- 7:07the point when the first victim related concerns were raised.
- 7:10The letter said, the Department now is taken down several
- 7:14thousands of documents and the media that may have inadvertently
- 7:18included victim identifying information due to various factors, including human
- 7:23or technical error. Oh give me a break. You add
- 7:27all those lawyers looking at these documents, and they can't
- 7:30do basic redactions, especially with AI out there now. You
- 7:36can't get it tuned up where you have it looking
- 7:38for keywords names. None of it passes the sniff test.
- 7:45And what they're gonna do is they're just going to
- 7:47keep doubling down on the great job that they did
- 7:50because they know nobody's here to hold them accountable. There's
- 7:52no oversight. Who's going to hold them accountable? James Comer
- 7:56or how about Ron Wyden. Ron Wyden can't even hold
- 7:58his own kid accountable, never mind holding anyone else accountable
- 8:02when it comes to Epstein. The letter added that the
- 8:06Justice Department was continuously evaluating its process and making further
- 8:10enhancements as necessary to address victim's concerns while complying with
- 8:15the Epstein Files Transparency Act. President Donald Trump signed that
- 8:20measure into law in November. The Justice Department had made
- 8:24assurances that it would protect the survivor's privacy in the release.
- 8:28The plaintiffs are seeking minimum damages of one thousand dollars
- 8:31per survivor from the Justice Department and punitive damages in
- 8:35amount sufficient to punish and deter Google. The group also
- 8:40asked the court to order Google to immediately and permanently
- 8:43take down the survivor's personal information. And look, I'm sure
- 8:47Google can take some of it down, but once it's
- 8:50out there, like I was saying, it's out there and
- 8:53people are going to do what they're going to do
- 8:54with it. Unfortunately. The survivors said that Google has the
- 8:59technological capability to remove content and response to legal requests
- 9:03about sensitive personal information. Google's refusal to use such tools
- 9:08in this case shows its conduct is reckless, in disregard
- 9:12for the well being a plaintiff and other victims, and wilful.
- 9:15The lawsuit says. Survivors have notified Google about the unlawful
- 9:20disclosure multiple times in February and March, the complaint says,
- 9:25adding that the content remains viewable on Google, so they're
- 9:29going to end up having to take that down. But
- 9:32and here's the big butt, it's still going to be
- 9:35there forever, you know, the saying the Internet never forgets.
- 9:41The survivors said the Justice Department has violated the Privacy
- 9:44Act of nineteen seventy four by disclosing survivor's information without consent.
- 9:50The plaintiffs also brought civil claims against Google over violations
- 9:53of California's on fair Competition law, invasion of privacy and
- 9:58negligent infliction of a mo distress, as well as violation
- 10:02of California Civil Code and targets docksing, no survivor of
- 10:08sexual abuse should have to live in fear that a
- 10:10stranger can type their name into a search bar and
- 10:13instantly find out about their worst trauma. Yet that's exactly
- 10:17what happened here. Julie Ericson, one of the plaintiff's attorneys,
- 10:21said in a statement on Thursday. The DOJ opened the
- 10:25door by unlawfully disclosing victim identifying information, and Google is
- 10:30holding that door wide open, even after being warned about
- 10:34the damage that it's causing. So, look, I don't know
- 10:37if this is going to be successful, but I think
- 10:41it's a good move on the part of the survivors.
- 10:44It's a shot over the bell, right. Look, you dudes
- 10:48better do the right thing or you can expect more lawsuits. Now.
- 10:51The question is is that going to be enough to
- 10:54deter the DOJ from playing their games? Well, I guess
- 10:58we're about to find out. All the information that goes
