Jesus Is Better | The Better Promise
Hebrews 11:23–28 | ~7 min
Pharaoh had ordered every Hebrew baby boy thrown into the Nile. Moses’ parents looked at their son and said no. Before Moses could make a single choice of his own, people around him were trusting God at great risk. When he grew up he had all the treasures of Egypt, and he walked away from them, because he “saw Him who is invisible.”
In this episode:
The first acts of faith in Moses’ story, from his parents and his sister Miriam
Why Moses chose to suffer with God’s people instead of enjoying Egypt’s comforts
How Moses’ choice points ahead to the path Jesus would take…
