Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: To America. We go, Mitch, we can good morning, Good morning.
- 0:03Speaker 2: How are you, Andrew. I'm well.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Elon Must's time at Doze could be coming to an end.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a big story and it's only come
- 0:09Speaker 2: out very recently this morning. Now, Tesla stock has suffered
- 0:13Speaker 2: brutal blows already this year. In the first four months
- 0:17Speaker 2: of the year, or first three months of the year rather,
- 0:19Speaker 2: its stock has been down thirty six percent right, and
- 0:23Speaker 2: this morning the company announced that sales or deliveries of
- 0:27Speaker 2: its vehicles were down around thirteen percent in the last
- 0:31Speaker 2: quarter as well, so bad news for Tesla. It was
- 0:33Speaker 2: also down around one and a half percent this morning. Now,
- 0:36Speaker 2: there's a new report that's come out saying that Donald
- 0:38Speaker 2: Trump has told some of his cabinet secretaries and top
- 0:41Speaker 2: officials that Elon Musk's time might be coming to an
- 0:44Speaker 2: end at the White House simply because he's done the
- 0:47Speaker 2: job he needs to do and he needs to go
- 0:49Speaker 2: back to his other companies. The quote that's running on
- 0:52Speaker 2: this from Donald Trump is that he said there will
- 0:55Speaker 2: be a point at which the secretaries will be able
- 0:57Speaker 2: to do this work, and that Elon Musk has a
- 1:00Speaker 2: big company to run now. As a result of that
- 1:02Speaker 2: story coming out this morning, Tesla's stock is up nearly
- 1:05Speaker 2: five percent. So if there was ever a question whether
- 1:08Speaker 2: Tesla's brutal few months has been based on him involved
- 1:12Speaker 2: with the White House, I think we have our answer.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Yes, indeed, And of course the other side will say
- 1:16Speaker 1: boycott's and vandalism work, but we don't want to hear
- 1:18Speaker 1: that sort of thing. Now, we've been talking about Liberation
- 1:21Speaker 1: Day now for a couple of days, and now it's
- 1:23Speaker 1: coming nine o'clock our time, so that's in about three
- 1:25Speaker 1: hours time. We've already talked about this this hour. What's
- 1:27Speaker 1: your take on it?
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah, this is going to be an interesting one, and
- 1:30Speaker 2: I think one of the biggest things we're looking at
- 1:32Speaker 2: is what's going to happen, because there have simply been
- 1:35Speaker 2: no leaks that have really come from the White House
- 1:37Speaker 2: giving a clear indication of what's going to happen here
- 1:41Speaker 2: and which countries are going to be affected. Donald Trump
- 1:43Speaker 2: has given some hint that he might be going easier
- 1:46Speaker 2: than he was first going to. There's a lot of
- 1:48Speaker 2: volatility in the US stock market at the moment. Donald
- 1:51Speaker 2: Trump is someone that watches the markets very closely and
- 1:55Speaker 2: It's interesting to know this is going to happen at
- 1:57Speaker 2: four o'clock local time here on the East Cone, which
- 2:00Speaker 2: is actually when the markets closed, so that would have
- 2:02Speaker 2: been done on purpose, I can imagine. But really I
- 2:05Speaker 2: think it's interesting to note that we have had no leaks.
- 2:08Speaker 2: It's very unknown what's going to happen at the stage
- 2:10Speaker 2: and who's going to be affected.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Hey, match, I thank you so very very much.
