Raleigh’s police are rolling out a bold new Summer Safety initiative to keep families cool, calm, and secure this season. Led by Chief Boyce’s 2026 Summer Action Plan, the program brings officers into the community every Tuesday at 6:30 PM at Millbrook Exchange Park, covering everything from fire and water safety to heat, fireworks, and even nightlife and trail tips. Officers stress that safety is everyone’s responsibility—and you can help by sharing the message with neighbors and loved ones.
