- 0:01and welcome. I am Samuel Trap. This is
- 0:06International Flavor. I am still coming
- 0:09to you after technical difficulties
- 0:13from beautiful, not very sunny today,
- 0:19Florida. It is
- 0:23freaking cold. friends and neighbors. I
- 0:26am
- 0:28I don't like being cold. I really don't
- 0:31like it. So, I was wandering around the
- 0:34the last 3 months or so almost in uh uh
- 0:39Missouri wearing a park up basically. Um
- 0:42even inside uh and here in Florida uh
- 0:46it's only uh 52 degrees at present. And
- 0:51so I've been wandering around in my park
- 0:53down here, too. It looks kind of comical
- 0:55when you do that. Um, and I've been
- 0:58having nothing but problems this
- 0:59morning, you know. Um, so who else? And
- 1:02I shouldn't say hates, but I hate it. I
- 1:06hate it when And who else hates it when?
- 1:10So, two days in a row, I have attempted
- 1:13to get a Starbucks coffee. And
- 1:16yesterday, I actually had to pay for the
- 1:18damn thing. And I know I pay for it
- 1:20anyway, but there's this thing that is
- 1:22called a Starbucks app and when you
- 1:24drive through it just, you know, goes on
- 1:26your phone and you never notice it. So,
- 1:28you know, just uh magic occurs and you
- 1:32uh wander out of there with a a a black
- 1:36coffee, couple of stevia in it, maybe
- 1:39throw a little skim milk in there if you
- 1:41feel real, you know, uh saucy that day.
- 1:46And uh so yesterday I did it and it
- 1:49wouldn't let me log into the little
- 1:52thing. Starbucks has this horrible
- 1:54horrible habit of updating their
- 1:57software all the time. And when they do,
- 1:59they log you out and then you try to log
- 2:02back in and you don't remember your
- 2:04password because they force you to
- 2:05change it. And so when you force you to
- 2:08change it, you can't use a prior
- 2:10password. And when you can't use the
- 2:12prior password that you've always used,
- 2:14you have to create something new and you
- 2:16never remember what in the hell it is.
- 2:19And even if you update it in your phone
- 2:21and you try to use it, when they reset
- 2:23the system, they make you reset your
- 2:25password, which is completely stupid.
- 2:27It's freaking Starbucks. How many people
- 2:29are out there robbing other people's
- 2:32Starbucks cash? Okay, if this was 12step
- 2:36verification because you're trying to
- 2:38get into your private Swiss bank account
- 2:40in the vaults of some Jason Bourne bank
- 2:44down below ground, you know, where you
- 2:46only get in with a thumbrint and then
- 2:49you got to pull out your eyeball and
- 2:51stuff it on a retina scanner and then
- 2:54you got to, you know, sell your third
- 2:56child into slavery for several weeks to
- 2:59get in. that I get because your entire
- 3:02life savings of uh I don't know a dog
- 3:05sled in Gnome Alaska is uh on the line
- 3:10here plus your several fake passport IDs
- 3:13and all the things these piles of cash
- 3:15from various country are are in there
- 3:18that I get but it's freaking coffee. How
- 3:22many times must I
- 3:25pay for it? I have to find a alternate
- 3:28means of payment. You know how
- 3:30frustrating that is? It's extremely
- 3:32frustrating and I just don't like it.
- 3:36Anyway, I think I have figured out the
- 3:39uh
- 3:43what do you call it? Technological
- 3:45issues. Anyway, that's my bitching for
- 3:47this morning. It's done. It is. Well,
- 3:49no, it's not. I'm going to [ __ ] for an
- 3:50hour and a half. How do you like that?
- 3:52And uh I'm going to complain about a
- 3:54couple of things. We
- 3:57Uh I I I met a lot of So let's see. I'm
- 4:01down here for for both a little bit of
- 4:03business and a little bit of pleasure. I
- 4:04was meeting with some people on u uh my
- 4:08modern law ecosystem project and a civic
- 4:11outlaws project uh for expanding the
- 4:14scope of our uh charitable organization
- 4:18and modern law ecosystem because the
- 4:20ecosystem is is uh inviting lawyers uh
- 4:24parillegals uh court reporters um
- 4:29uh medical providers even um um and I
- 4:32thought about I had an interesting idea
- 4:34That's a it's a an interesting concept.
- 4:37So I have this this plan keeps
- 4:39spitballing of of what we are building
- 4:42here. And we've got a group of uh of uh
- 4:45IT people that are working in the
- 4:47background here to help me create this
- 4:50brainchild of ours and or help us create
- 4:53the brainchild of ours. And uh it's um
- 4:58it keeps expanding in spitballing and uh
- 5:01you know we're interested in more people
- 5:02coming along for the ride. I do uh uh
- 5:07a good amount of legal research. Um I do
- 5:11quite a bit of it and I so I met with a
- 5:15a couple of Russian speaking I told you
- 5:18I was going to get a little pissy about
- 5:19this. Um, I work with Russianspeaking
- 5:22people, you know, frequently both as a
- 5:25real estate broker and
- 5:29as a uh parallegal type in uh I can't be
- 5:33a lawyer. We'll get into that story
- 5:35another time. I don't want to [ __ ]
- 5:37about it again. I'm I have enough
- 5:39bitching to do today. But but I went
- 5:42into the office of a a a law firm
- 5:50and
- 5:52they everybody there is basically
- 5:55Russian speaking and or speaks Russian
- 5:58too. And then I went into another one
- 6:02that uh is is uh Russian speaking but in
- 6:06a Ukrainian area.
- 6:09And this is America. Okay, this is
- 6:12America. And last I was told anyway,
- 6:16we're still America, right? And I think
- 6:21I believe that we're still here. We
- 6:23still get to vote, I think, every once
- 6:25in a while to keep in the the uh the the
- 6:29people who keep the war train running.
- 6:32We we have to be able to do that. That's
- 6:34that's the sole critical purpose of uh
- 6:36we have to fund Lindsey Graham's uh
- 6:39continual wars. We have to do it. All of
- 6:42the neocons, we must fund that. Yeah.
- 6:46And so that is how that that's that's
- 6:48the purpose of your vote as an American.
- 6:50Okay. And uh uh of course that's
- 6:53fishist. Um, I I can't even speak this
- 6:57morning either now that I didn't get my
- 6:59coffee because Starbucks changed the
- 7:02damn password. And uh uh I had to go and
- 7:05and by the way, they did it since
- 7:07yesterday. So today I tried to log in
- 7:09but I tried to log in on my telephone
- 7:11and I wouldn't get it. I'm really all
- 7:13over the place, aren't I? And uh
- 7:17I'm without coffee. What else can you
- 7:19can it be? Um, and that's another thing
- 7:21to [ __ ] about, by the way, because last
- 7:25whenever I came down here, what was it
- 7:27last Tuesday or something? Um, so I'm
- 7:29driving down here and uh I don't I I I
- 7:33don't stop to get coffee, you know,
- 7:36unless unless I'm getting gas somewhere
- 7:39and place is open, maybe I'll get some
- 7:41coffee if uh but I usually throw a case
- 7:44of uh flavored water in the back and
- 7:48drive. I like doing that and I don't
- 7:49like stopping. I stop, get gas, you
- 7:52know, go to the bathroom, get right back
- 7:54in the car and uh and cruise on down.
- 7:57And so it's not like I was getting
- 7:58coffee. So I I had the worst pounding
- 8:02headache for several days and uh uh
- 8:06non- coffee days. And I don't have a
- 8:08coffee pot down here. And so the only
- 8:10time you get coffee is if you go buy it.
- 8:12And uh and your Starbucks app limits you
- 8:16from getting coffee. And so you're right
- 8:18back in the same scenario. So apparently
- 8:21what was happening to me because I also
- 8:23had a a appointment at the old VA
- 8:26hospital whilst I was down here. And uh
- 8:29I had to uh
- 8:32uh uh I was asking I was like, "Man, I
- 8:34got the worst headache." And uh the lady
- 8:37said to me something I already knew but
- 8:39never thought about. She goes, "Well,
- 8:41have you had any coffee this morning?" I
- 8:44was like, "No, I haven't had any in
- 8:45several days." Really? Oh.
- 8:49She said, "You know, day three and four
- 8:52uh are the worst." I said, "Of what?"
- 8:55And she says, "If if you you know," she
- 8:57says, "What'd you do? Go cold turkey?" I
- 9:00was like, "It's not like I'm trying to
- 9:02give it up. It's just I never thought
- 9:04about it, you know, or I, you know,
- 9:07haven't had any and circumstances
- 9:10prevented the the drinking of coffee.
- 9:13And uh she said, "Oh, well, you're
- 9:16probably going through caffeine
- 9:17withdrawal."
- 9:19And apparently it's a pretty big deal.
- 9:21Well, you know, everybody's always told
- 9:23me that if you quit coffee cold turkey,
- 9:26uh, you know, once you make it past day,
- 9:28you know, 3, four, you're okay. But uh
- 9:31uh that during that time you can have
- 9:35massive headaches and I've had the worst
- 9:37headaches ever since then. So anyway,
- 9:39that was now I've interrupted my own
- 9:42story three times. And so that's the uh
- 9:45that's the end of the first story. Uh
- 9:47the second story was Starbucks limiting
- 9:50my ability to get it. And the third I
- 9:53wanted to talk about this Ukrainian
- 9:54Russian deal. And here we are in
- 9:57Florida, right? is Florida. You know,
- 9:59you come to Florida, you throw on a uh a
- 10:02Hawaiian shirt, which I never figured
- 10:04out. Why would you throw on a Hawaiian
- 10:06shirt in Florida? Doesn't make any
- 10:08sense. You should throw on a Florida
- 10:10shirt. Should have an alligator on it.
- 10:12Or a snake or a huge freaking spider cuz
- 10:15they're everywhere. Or cockroaches or
- 10:17those big freaking beetles the size of
- 10:19your hand. Maybe that should be the
- 10:22t-shirt of uh Florida and not just
- 10:25Mickey Mouse. Although I've been
- 10:26thinking I should go get a Mickey Mouse
- 10:28fix before too long. Anyway, um I like
- 10:31the Harry Potter um
- 10:34uh the world over there. The Harry
- 10:36Potter world at Disney World. I haven't
- 10:38been there in
- 10:4015 20 years probably. But uh uh it was
- 10:43pretty cool when they first built it way
- 10:45back when and my son and I really loved
- 10:47it. So anyway, all things Florida,
- 10:50they're not all things Hawaiian. I mean,
- 10:51where are you getting these? Maybe we
- 10:53shouldn't call them Hawaiian shirts and
- 10:55we should call them tropical shirts and
- 10:56be done with it. Anyway, that really
- 10:58isn't a topic for today. Back to the
- 11:00Russians and Ukrainians. Okay, even in
- 11:02America. Even in America, Ukrainians
- 11:06hate Russians. Okay, hate. And I don't
- 11:10mean, you know, we we dispute, you know,
- 11:12I mean hate. They don't They hate it so
- 11:14much they don't even want to speak
- 11:17Russian anymore. and and all that
- 11:19because 30 years uh 35 now 35 years
- 11:24worth of denying your history claiming
- 11:28the Russians were the bad guys all along
- 11:31changing your textbooks. They have an
- 11:33entire generation of people who grew up
- 11:35this way with US funding by the way and
- 11:38the the US funding has assisted in this
- 11:41regard uh big time and uh US agency for
- 11:46international development. So basically
- 11:48all their textbooks they don't even
- 11:50recognize the tetum
- 11:55great patriotic war it doesn't even um
- 12:00register for them. They don't believe in
- 12:01it. They they call it World War II,
- 12:03right? They don't want to call it the
- 12:05you know they hell they deny it even
- 12:06happened. They say that the Russians
- 12:08were attacking them. Well there were
- 12:10about uh way in the west part of the
- 12:13Ukraine in the little Vulf part. I've
- 12:15been through this before. There were uh
- 12:17uh the Banderi which Stefan Bandera and
- 12:21he was a Nazi supporter. There were
- 12:23several others over in that region too,
- 12:25but he was the biggest. He's the most
- 12:27famous. He's the one they glorify as the
- 12:30uh defender of Ukraine, you know, and
- 12:32and he killed tons of Polish people,
- 12:34right?
- 12:36by estimates between the uh or during
- 12:39the time period of uh uh the great
- 12:42patriotic war he he and his followers
- 12:46killed just in the in the Lvul area
- 12:49where which used to be Poland is they
- 12:53killed
- 12:54120 to 150,000
- 12:57ethnic Poles
- 13:00and uh now
- 13:03they they were already part of the
- 13:06Soviet Union. And so I don't know if
- 13:09they were as uh uh sophisticated as they
- 13:12are now, but surely and definitely
- 13:16efforts were a foot to uh uh put, you
- 13:20know, the the Nazi powers wanted to put
- 13:24uh their
- 13:28pol
- 13:30their not policies. Well, I suppose it
- 13:32was a policy, too, but their thought
- 13:35processes into these Ukrainians and
- 13:37helped them peel away from the Soviet
- 13:40Union. And so, this is what the
- 13:43Ukrainians honor in Steon Bandera. And
- 13:46I'm not saying that this war between
- 13:49them, obviously, it's difficult, but the
- 13:52ethnic Russians that are from Lugans,
- 13:55well, hell, they're all ethnic Russians
- 13:57for that matter, depending on how far
- 13:59back you go. And they were Velika Arus
- 14:02was not Kiev. Velik was in Kiev, but it
- 14:05was still the Russian Empire. And the
- 14:07Russian Empire pulled back to Moscow and
- 14:10they left all these people on the edges
- 14:13in Ukraine. Nakayak. And so it it was uh
- 14:16uh that's that's how Na came out to be.
- 14:20When you say Na on on the Ukraine,
- 14:23that's the Ukraine. You don't call it
- 14:25Ukraine, you call it the Ukraine. Even
- 14:27in English, it's nonsense. and and uh
- 14:29but anyway, that's how it came about.
- 14:32And uh so I mean historically, this is
- 14:34history, but they don't believe that
- 14:36anymore. They believe they've been
- 14:37fighting for their independence for
- 14:38hundreds of years to get away from
- 14:40nobody but Russia. It's all everything
- 14:44has been geared, all of their history
- 14:46has been geared toward uh uh we hate
- 14:50Russia, but only since 1991.
- 14:53Now, I'm not saying that people didn't
- 14:55exist before 1991 that wanted to say
- 14:57we're Ukrainian and they're not. I saw
- 14:59some interesting movies on it. In fact,
- 15:01that uh there used to be uh the peasants
- 15:04and the surfs and then the Russian
- 15:06lords, right? It's just very similar to
- 15:09what England was doing in its regions
- 15:11over there. And I forget the name of the
- 15:13of the series, but it was a really good
- 15:15um uh miniseries television show in
- 15:18Russian that was uh talk Ukrainian surfs
- 15:23and Russian lords and you know it was a
- 15:26long longunning several season thing and
- 15:30and beautifully done. It was a a very
- 15:34good um uh set of of of
- 15:40shows seasons I suppose and uh when when
- 15:43they were being told and it was very
- 15:45interesting because you don't really
- 15:47think about it that way how the Russians
- 15:49the that even back then the because the
- 15:52Russians even when it was the Kazaks and
- 15:56even in when it was the Tatars and even
- 15:58when it was you know there if you keep
- 16:01going further to the east there. You've
- 16:03got your Georgians, you got your
- 16:05Armenians, you got your I mean, you keep
- 16:07going over all the places that that
- 16:09eventually became part of the Soviet
- 16:11Union or satellite um uh satellites of
- 16:15the Soviet Union. All of those places
- 16:18have, you know, have been the same
- 16:20ethnicities for hundreds of years,
- 16:22right? And uh so these things developed
- 16:24over a long period of time, but that's
- 16:26not Ukrainian history today. So I tell
- 16:28you all that to tell you the following.
- 16:31Here we are in America.
- 16:34Number one, many of these people, their
- 16:37English isn't that great, you know, but
- 16:40but I don't, you know, I I don't
- 16:41begrudge anybody that, you know, it I'm
- 16:44I'm fine with that. You want to come
- 16:45here and speak Italian, I don't give a
- 16:47crap, you know, it doesn't bother me and
- 16:50it doesn't bother me if you come over
- 16:51here and you speak uh Ukrainian or you
- 16:53speak Russian. But what I don't like is
- 16:55coming here and
- 16:58tomenting hatred of some sort. And it
- 17:02seems far more prevalent
- 17:05among the Ukrainians than among others.
- 17:09Now I know that's a generalization and
- 17:11you know um just like uh I had a see if
- 17:17you can get this. I had a drill sergeant
- 17:19once tell me, uh, so you're not supposed
- 17:21to generalize, but he was also the same
- 17:23drill sergeant who would say, "Trap, if
- 17:25I told you once, I told you a thousand
- 17:27times, never exaggerate."
- 17:30And I always loved that one. I thought
- 17:32that was a really good one. And uh uh at
- 17:34any rate, I think that all of the
- 17:37disputes ethnically over are a either
- 17:42hundreds of years in the making or b are
- 17:46part of a uh westernbased
- 17:50uh creative fairy tale to convince the
- 17:53Ukrainians that they need to hate
- 17:54Russians. By the way, the same efforts
- 17:56are underway in in everywhere else that
- 17:59that that uh they have cho it happened
- 18:02at right after Breton Woods, you know,
- 18:04when the when Soviet Union was so
- 18:06powerful at the time and uh there there
- 18:09actually was some fear that they'd never
- 18:11give back Eastern Europe and uh uh you
- 18:15know, well then they didn't, you know,
- 18:17under Stalin. They they wouldn't. And uh
- 18:21I'm I'm not saying I necessarily blame
- 18:23them. Who would say that that's not the
- 18:25case if you're um
- 18:28if you've just been overrun and lost 26
- 18:32million people because of of the evil
- 18:35Germans. But nobody ever says evil
- 18:37Germans. We don't do that. You know, the
- 18:39evil Germans aren't evil Germans.
- 18:41They're just Germans. And uh you know,
- 18:43the evil Poles who were going the other
- 18:45way aren't evil Poles. They're just
- 18:48Poles. And the Lithuanian Empire, you
- 18:50know, which was associated with the
- 18:53Poles, they're they're not evil.
- 18:54Lithuanians aren't evil. They're just
- 18:57Lithuanian. But in Russia, every they're
- 19:00evil Russia and they've been evil for
- 19:02100 years, but only only uh you know, by
- 19:06slogan and we create them and we've
- 19:09helped do that and we turn them into the
- 19:11bad guy and everybody does it. So that's
- 19:13your history. And that's what Ukraine
- 19:15has been doing with American and Western
- 19:17help in Ukraine for the last 35 years,
- 19:21making sure to still p push the
- 19:24narrative that uh the Russians are the
- 19:27evil empire. And uh and they're not, you
- 19:31know, how many times
- 19:35how many times aside from Ukraine, you
- 19:37know, has has has Russia invaded? Is it
- 19:41anywhere close to the number of times
- 19:44that America has invaded even in the
- 19:46last decade in the last hundred years of
- 19:50Russia? How many times they've invaded?
- 19:53You could we have that in our pocket as
- 19:56western westerners in in the last 10
- 19:59years. You know, we got tons of them.
- 20:02Tons of incursions everywhere. We just
- 20:04do what we want and you know we are the
- 20:06colonialists. Okay. right now that uh
- 20:09that we we you know that we ran away
- 20:11from we're it you you you become what
- 20:14you run away from or you become what you
- 20:17hate the most u sometimes. Anyway,
- 20:19that's a very long story to tell you
- 20:21that the Ukrainians that uh um
- 20:25you meet with far too often here. Uh, if
- 20:29you try to go into the Ukrainian store,
- 20:31and I forgot about it cuz I've been in
- 20:32Missouri for a little while, and you got
- 20:34to travel further to get to the very
- 20:36nice Ukrainian stores in Stellia, and
- 20:38they have some great some great ethnic
- 20:40uh uh grocery stores and stuff like that
- 20:43where you can go pick up your your uh uh
- 20:46uh tuiki and your leapki and your your
- 20:49interesting foods over there. And
- 20:51Pilman, Periroki, great coffees and and
- 20:54very great tors that's cakes and and
- 20:56very good stuff over there. And it's a
- 20:58uh it's right next to the in fact that's
- 21:00next to the Starbucks. See how my
- 21:02stories all come together. There they
- 21:04are. No, I'm kidding. Um but the uh cuz
- 21:07this story sure as hell hasn't come
- 21:08together and I've been talking for an
- 21:10hour already. Anyway, the uh the part in
- 21:14u the Ukrainian
- 21:17section. So there's a there's a good
- 21:19number of Ukrainians and a good number
- 21:21of Russians everywhere. But a place
- 21:24called Northport, Florida has three or
- 21:27four Ukrainian churches. Uh Ukrainians
- 21:30have been congregating there. I don't
- 21:31know why. Ukrainian specific for just
- 21:34like in Sidelia, Missouri. There's a
- 21:37large population of Ukrainians over
- 21:40there. And I like to go over there, but
- 21:42everything's in Russian anyway. And
- 21:44nobody's ever had any problems speaking
- 21:46Russian because all the Ukrainians speak
- 21:49Russian anyway. And none of them and
- 21:51then none of them ever spoke Russian
- 21:53before. Well, now you got Zilinski who
- 21:55his whole life spoke Russian and he
- 21:58doesn't even speak Ukrainian very well
- 22:01and he never has. He's getting better,
- 22:04but he's he's never spoken Ukrainian
- 22:08very well. He's always been a Moscow uh
- 22:11actor and and trying to get in the
- 22:14Moscow in crowd and and suddenly he
- 22:17gets, you know, funded by uh the proper
- 22:21oligarchs and suddenly he's only
- 22:23Ukrainian and he gets to gets to uh
- 22:26torment anybody who even speaks Russian
- 22:29and he speaks Ukrainian with a Russian
- 22:32accent.
- 22:33I don't speak Ukrainian, so I don't know
- 22:35about the accent part, but uh uh they
- 22:38hate. Okay, so and they hate it so much
- 22:41so that they will not speak to you in
- 22:45Russian. If you recall listening to me
- 22:46back when I was in uh Lithuania back in
- 22:50September
- 22:52um and in Bellarus,
- 22:55uh the a couple of the cab drivers I got
- 22:58I I got in with or the the Yandex
- 23:01drivers over there
- 23:04when I would speak to them in Russian,
- 23:06they would answer in English and they
- 23:09would, you know, they uh one of them
- 23:12even went so far as to say, "Don't speak
- 23:15Russian in my cab." I said, "Hey, man,
- 23:18if you don't want to pick up," I said,
- 23:20"Would you say that to a Frenchman?
- 23:22Don't speak French?" "Yeah, Russians are
- 23:24invading invading Ukraine." I said, "And
- 23:26what in the hell are you doing in
- 23:27Lithuania?" You know, this is nonsense.
- 23:30And uh it's a language, dude. And this
- 23:34drives me baddy, just like it did back
- 23:38in the 80s when I was in the army and
- 23:41some particularly rude um American
- 23:45soldiers would say something like,
- 23:47"Don't speak that Mexican." You know, it
- 23:50it was the the the southern we were in
- 23:53uh Ngalas.
- 23:55Um and across the border, I forget the
- 23:58name of the US town across the border,
- 24:00but near Fort Hua. And I was in Fort
- 24:03Wuka, Arizona for I don't know several
- 24:06months. And we would go over to Nogals
- 24:09and but there was a cool place on this
- 24:11side. So you didn't have to cross the
- 24:13border. They really didn't like us doing
- 24:14that. And you had to get special
- 24:16permission across the border when you're
- 24:17military anyway. And so at least in our
- 24:20unit and uh uh and we had clearances
- 24:23anyway. They really didn't want us
- 24:25crossing the borders unless we were as a
- 24:28group or doing something like that. And
- 24:30uh but I would get really mad about uh
- 24:33uh and and and say, "Geez, will you
- 24:36stop? You know, you're drive I hate
- 24:38that. You're driving me nuts. You can't
- 24:41belittle a person because of their
- 24:43language." You know, and if they you
- 24:46come to America, speak American. It's
- 24:49not American, by the way. It's English.
- 24:52Now, the British wouldn't agree with
- 24:53that, but anyway, that long, long story
- 24:57to tell you that Ukraine and Russia,
- 25:01well, mostly Ukraine, you know,
- 25:03Russians, you know, don't say don't
- 25:05speak Ukrainian. You want to speak
- 25:07Ukrainian, fine. I I told you about the
- 25:09the case uh that I assisted with a
- 25:12couple of years ago where uh uh husband
- 25:16and wife were having dinner in a
- 25:18restaurant in um on the east part of uh
- 25:21Hollywood which is in Miami area. Um
- 25:27and they were speaking Russian
- 25:31and they were there several hours, you
- 25:34know, it's a Friday night or something.
- 25:36and they were going there to have a good
- 25:37time and uh later in the evening an
- 25:40entire wedding party came in of
- 25:42Ukrainians. Now, the bulk of the people
- 25:45in that restaurant and apparently the
- 25:47owner were Ukrainian. And um
- 25:52it ended up that one of the wedding
- 25:55guests came over to the table of this
- 25:58Russian couple who'd been sitting there
- 26:01and told them to quit talking that
- 26:03Russian came over and confronted them
- 26:04and wanted to fight with the husband.
- 26:07wanted to create a scene because
- 26:10Russians were there speaking speaking
- 26:13that Russian. They weren't speaking
- 26:14Ukrainian. Speak Ukrainian in here. They
- 26:17said, "Well, even you half the
- 26:18Ukrainians don't speak Ukrainian.
- 26:21I don't know how." And so they learned
- 26:25Russian. That's what they have done. And
- 26:27so it was it turned into a a a fight.
- 26:30You know, you had people in a wedding
- 26:32party beating up on a guy and the wife
- 26:34getting knocked to the ground. all kinds
- 26:36of stupidity and uh um you know
- 26:39potential uh potential case for for that
- 26:43kind of thing. But how foolish all of
- 26:45that was is is part of the point for
- 26:49today. And uh I'm telling you it's
- 26:55frustrating the stupidity going on in
- 26:58the world today. And uh anyway, that
- 27:01long long story to tell you that uh that
- 27:05Samuel Edward von Trap believes that uh
- 27:09it's time for for everyone to put their
- 27:13swords aside, you know, and try to a
- 27:17little what is what is that song? try a
- 27:19little bit of peace, love, and
- 27:21understanding or something because the
- 27:24world is going to [ __ ] pretty quick and
- 27:28we're all along for the ride. And on
- 27:30that note, we're going to um uh talk
- 27:35about first an Axio article that uh the
- 27:41US
- 27:44is there's a push to build an Iran
- 27:47coalition that is turning into a mess.
- 27:51And I've watched so many uh reports on
- 27:55this and uh keeping track of it uh
- 28:01especially regarding the Straits of
- 28:02Hormuz and uh that
- 28:06well we we help NATO. We do everything
- 28:09for NATO basically and uh the rants that
- 28:13uh that Trump goes on on his true social
- 28:16and says we we've done everything to you
- 28:20know for Europe. They haven't done a
- 28:21damn thing. And now we want them to come
- 28:24in and help escort ships in the Straits
- 28:26of Hormuz. Well, now remember, I told
- 28:29you last week that I've read a couple
- 28:30other articles that say that uh the
- 28:33Straits of Hormuz, you you can't escort.
- 28:37There are procedural and reality
- 28:41limitations to being able to
- 28:45um
- 28:47escort militarily ships through the
- 28:50Straits of Hormuz. And the US Navy
- 28:53allegedly through whatever the senior
- 28:55admiral is told Trump that it's it's not
- 28:59really possible or or realistic at all
- 29:02for US Navy ships to be escorting
- 29:06uh ships through the Straits of Hormuz
- 29:08uh commercial ships and it would turn
- 29:11them into little bit especially in the
- 29:13method of the war that's going on right
- 29:15now which is mostly pounding each other
- 29:17with missiles.
- 29:19uh it would put them in a a greater uh
- 29:24risk coalition and so that's not really
- 29:26how you secure the straits of moves. Um
- 29:31and you know Trump isn't listening to
- 29:33that. You know we're we're we're going
- 29:36to secure this. I I remember a couple of
- 29:38weeks ago when I was first uh when I
- 29:41first stated something about this
- 29:44ridiculous and foolish war that we've
- 29:47involved ourselves in. Uh by the way,
- 29:50just as a as a deliberate attack of our
- 29:53own at the behest of Netanyahu,
- 29:57uh and not even as
- 30:00the American public has zero, there's
- 30:03nothing positive that comes of this for
- 30:05us. Nothing. We are not the world's
- 30:08policemen, nor should we be. And the and
- 30:11and I don't appreciate it as do what are
- 30:14we up to 66% 68%
- 30:18uh with the last numbers of people who
- 30:20were supporting going to war in Iran. Uh
- 30:24the the naysay are uh a hell of a lot
- 30:28less I'm I mean a hell of a lot more
- 30:30than the yays on uh I I don't think like
- 30:35many of these stupid wars they they uh
- 30:38in hindsight always look foolish and uh
- 30:42just like Afghanistan and and uh many
- 30:44many many reports over the last couple
- 30:46of weeks said that if the Iranians can
- 30:49hang out for a couple of weeks and turn
- 30:52this into a
- 30:56uh sort of an attrition war and create
- 30:58the discomfort that not only will the
- 31:01missile abilities and the defensive
- 31:03posture of the West and the desire to be
- 31:07involved be uh
- 31:13be a horror story on the Western side,
- 31:17but that there's a a a pretty good
- 31:22indication
- 31:24that there might be efforts to make it
- 31:26even worse, like get out of the Middle
- 31:28East, like pushing the the United States
- 31:31out of there. You can agree with that or
- 31:33disagree with it. I'm not positive. I
- 31:34agree with it or disagree with it. It's
- 31:36an opposing point of view. And uh I want
- 31:39to be supportive. I'm a patriot. I was
- 31:42military. You know, I was one of the
- 31:43guys who might have had to go somewhere.
- 31:45Although I was in during Iraq uh one and
- 31:49I didn't I didn't go. I was a Russian
- 31:51interpreter. the hell am I going to do
- 31:53over there? And um but anyway, uh you
- 31:56know, the Russians weren't weren't at
- 31:58war at that time. Um and this straits to
- 32:01Hormuz thing and the war in general is
- 32:04turning into a a pretty huge mess. Um, I
- 32:08listened to and admitted uh admittedly
- 32:10he was an Iranian professor from a u a
- 32:16uh
- 32:18Thrron University and he's a professor
- 32:21there and he told some some pretty grim
- 32:26stories about what is being targeted
- 32:29over there. He he said that there are
- 32:33the uh double tap missions that are
- 32:36going on even now that the that and
- 32:39Israel has long been known to do these
- 32:41type of things and uh people complain
- 32:44about it quite a bit. This is the
- 32:46preferred method of uh of their war
- 32:51tactics. They they they they are in a
- 32:54destructive mode and they are doing back
- 32:58what was done to them. No, nowhere near
- 33:00as horrible, but still horrible. Um,
- 33:04like the school that was bombed in uh um
- 33:08uh I forget the name of the little town
- 33:10where the girls were the girls were uh
- 33:13destroyed. The more news that comes out
- 33:15about that, the worse it looks. It was a
- 33:18Navy Navy officers uh mostly
- 33:22uh school for
- 33:25uh Navy officers children and uh
- 33:31they say it was intentionally targeted
- 33:32and they even worse say that the US data
- 33:36has been using AI for some of the
- 33:39targeting and the AI data is old. Uh one
- 33:43of the stories this economist told was
- 33:47economic professor. Anyway, he said that
- 33:50uh uh
- 33:54that there an example for one of the
- 33:58examples he gave was that u there was a
- 34:02park that's called in Iranian uh or in
- 34:06Arabic I suppose would be the um the
- 34:12or do they speak Farsy I don't remember
- 34:14but I think it's Farsy and uh uh he they
- 34:17they would have um the park was called
- 34:20police park and um that was the name of
- 34:26the park. It has nothing to do with the
- 34:28police. The police aren't located there.
- 34:30There's nothing there. And that park was
- 34:32bombed several times now. The park has
- 34:36been bombed. So AI is picking the the
- 34:40the the
- 34:42targeting data for for how you uh target
- 34:46um how you target missiles into Iran on
- 34:51both the Israeli side and the American
- 34:54side. And he said that the double taps
- 34:57have been consistent and prevalent and
- 35:01that and a double tap if if for those of
- 35:04you who don't know are bombing a place,
- 35:07waiting 20, 30 minutes for for uh people
- 35:12to arrive
- 35:15and then bombing it again so you can
- 35:18destroy the uh the first responders. so
- 35:23you can destroy them as well and all the
- 35:26people that are coming to dig through
- 35:28the rubble or whatever. And uh he said
- 35:31that has been the preferred method. Now
- 35:34admittedly that could be you know
- 35:36propaganda. He didn't he seemed like an
- 35:38economist to me. his you know he's
- 35:41clearly uh his English was extremely
- 35:44good or he was educated in the west
- 35:47which is typical for a lot of for a lot
- 35:50of people in in in many areas of the
- 35:53world they come over to the to Europe or
- 35:55to the United States and get educated
- 35:58and then then they go uh back home and
- 36:01and live you know after their education
- 36:04and they get a western education and he
- 36:08said one other interesting thing. So,
- 36:10first was on the targeting and on the
- 36:12missiles and on on and the whole
- 36:14interview was pretty interesting. Um but
- 36:17he said also that
- 36:22the the lies that are being told over
- 36:25here about the fact that uh and these
- 36:29are his words not mine that u
- 36:33the Iranian people do not support their
- 36:36government
- 36:38um is you know completely false. He said
- 36:42that he has participated himself in
- 36:45rallies of 250 to a mill 250,000 to a
- 36:49million people showing up. Um, you know,
- 36:53there were marches after that uh that uh
- 36:56Saturday or or
- 37:00I don't know why I said Saturday, what
- 37:01it had to do with it, but that the the
- 37:03the bombing I forget it started on the
- 37:0728th or whatever and they blew up that
- 37:09school and uh so I that's why I think I
- 37:11said Saturday, but uh uh uh it was a u
- 37:16that after that there were huge protests
- 37:18uh and
- 37:20support for the government, um,
- 37:23martyrdom,
- 37:24marches, those kind of things that, uh,
- 37:27that they're everywhere and the the
- 37:29Iranian people are at their core
- 37:33together. Now, to tie that into the
- 37:35Ukrainian part, okay, the Ukrainians
- 37:38been losing for years now, we're in year
- 37:41five of this, and the Ukrainians have
- 37:43been losing, and the hatred that they
- 37:46show for Russians
- 37:48isn't really warranted. in my humble
- 37:51view.
- 37:52But
- 37:54I understand and I understand the you
- 37:57know call it solidarity that they are uh
- 38:01uh you know
- 38:04in solidarity even if they're not in the
- 38:07country you know they all run from the
- 38:09country and then yeah you fight whoever
- 38:14else could fight but everybody runs from
- 38:16the country like the guy flying the
- 38:17little German uh light ultra light plane
- 38:21out into Verbadia last week that I told
- 38:23you about and every everybody is running
- 38:26away cuz they don't want to be the meat
- 38:28lines inside of Ukraine and then you
- 38:31know hell if you want to come over here
- 38:33and preach to the Russians about
- 38:35speaking you know don't speak that
- 38:37Russian you know who in the hell are you
- 38:39to tell them not to speak Russian
- 38:41nonsense and that's nonsense that'd be
- 38:45like me going up and go don't speak that
- 38:47Ukrainian [ __ ] to me speak English and
- 38:50none of them speak English or very
- 38:53poorly and and then there's huge amounts
- 38:55of them that don't speak English at all
- 38:58and they're they're over here and they
- 38:59have no intention of learning it. You
- 39:01know, they just get a few things to get
- 39:03by, but they speak Ukrainian in their
- 39:05homes. They have all their money to
- 39:07Ukrainian businesses. They uh they will
- 39:10only hire Ukrainian uh lawyers. They,
- 39:13you know, stuff like that. And uh it it
- 39:17exists. And so we're creating these
- 39:18riffs inside America which supposed to
- 39:21be a melting pot. Now in a generation
- 39:23who's going to know the difference
- 39:24because their kids will all learn
- 39:26English. But maybe not. I don't know.
- 39:30Maybe we're creating regions inside
- 39:32America that are going to be like the
- 39:33regions inside the world where we're all
- 39:35supposed to be at each other's throats
- 39:36the rest of our lives. And uh this is no
- 39:39way to run a uh you know peace, love,
- 39:41and understanding. That is my thesis.
- 39:46And with Trump not being able to figure
- 39:49out what in the hell is going on in the
- 39:51straits of her or moves, uh there's
- 39:54strong skepticism on that. And I wanted
- 39:56to share this with you. Um this uh
- 40:01opinion so that the US uh efforts to
- 40:04build they want to build a uh a straits
- 40:09of four moves coalition. Here we are
- 40:11again with that magic word, the
- 40:13coalition. Coalition of the willing
- 40:16willing to do what? The willingness to
- 40:19hate Russia, right? And now we have to
- 40:21have a coalition to secure shipping in
- 40:23the straight or moose. And they this has
- 40:26turned into a mess because Washington's
- 40:29uh alleged partners don't want to offer
- 40:32any assistance. According to Axios
- 40:34yesterday,
- 40:36US, Israel, and by the way, US and
- 40:39Israel are on their own in this. You
- 40:41have Mcronone throwing in a little bit
- 40:43because uh you know uh he he he likes to
- 40:47do what daddy tells him to do but uh
- 40:51most people are against and these and
- 40:53this USI Israel strikes on Iran and
- 40:56Thran's acts in retaliation have led to
- 41:01the oil flow
- 41:04dri you know dwindling to nothing in the
- 41:08straits of Hormuz.
- 41:11And the de facto closure of one of the
- 41:13world's most important energy choke
- 41:16points is sending shock waves through
- 41:19global oil markets. I watched another
- 41:21article that uh uh what is his name
- 41:27wasn't Midv
- 41:29um well it doesn't matter who Kiriel
- 41:33Demitri is who I think it was um that uh
- 41:36he predicts that within a very short
- 41:38period of time the uh prices for oil
- 41:42with all the choke points and all the
- 41:45destruction of infrastructure related to
- 41:47oil all around the world going on at the
- 41:51hugest suppliers except the US, you
- 41:55know, and if and and and the cynical
- 41:56people like me, you know, boy, this is
- 42:00convenient. You're turning the the the
- 42:02market into the US alone, having the
- 42:05market for oil. Trump says, "Oh, gez,
- 42:07we'll never run out. We got so much
- 42:09capacity. We'll just provide our own."
- 42:13Well, that's easy to say, but what about
- 42:14the rest of the world? They'll have to
- 42:16buy it from us. And so I
- 42:21I'm one of the
- 42:23critical
- 42:25I criticize that quite a bit. So uh
- 42:28these I believe Brent prices, you know,
- 42:32and all the the you know, the sweet
- 42:34crude, all of the prices are all going
- 42:36to go way in the hell up. And uh it's
- 42:40it's it's uh fluctuating around the $100
- 42:44a barrel mark right now. sometimes up,
- 42:47sometimes down. Um, and according to
- 42:50Axios, the administration has been
- 42:52lobbying countries including
- 42:55UK, France, Germany, Germany, Italy,
- 42:58Australia, Canada, Japan, and South
- 43:01Korea, all of whom have said no,
- 43:05as well as several Gulf States and
- 43:07Jordan to provide naval vessels or other
- 43:10forms of support for the mission to
- 43:13secure the regional shipping routes.
- 43:17But the outlet says that the potential
- 43:19partners have ranged from skepticism to
- 43:22hell no. Germany, Italy, and Japan have
- 43:26ruled out sending any navy while France
- 43:28has remained non-committal. Prime
- 43:31Minister Kirst the genius has described
- 43:36as forwardleaning cuz he's going to, you
- 43:38know, lick rear ends should the need
- 43:41arise. and uh London is drafting its own
- 43:44proposal to uh
- 43:47you know hang out with its brothers in
- 43:49arms in the United States. Uh but the
- 43:52road map um isn't being shared with
- 43:56every you know with all the countries
- 43:58being invited and one European diplomat
- 44:01described the negotiations as a mess and
- 44:05told Axios that a lot of people are
- 44:08confused.
- 44:11publicly EU uh top diplomat and I hate
- 44:16to say stuff like this because Jesus she
- 44:18has zero diplomacy skills Ka Kalis said
- 44:22that there were there was no appetite in
- 44:26the block to participate in the US-led
- 44:29coalition against Iran. So that's the
- 44:32she's the top diplomat in the EU and
- 44:34German defense min M minister Boris
- 44:37Ptoria said that this is not our war we
- 44:42have not started it now where have we
- 44:45heard that before friends and neighbors
- 44:47not our war we didn't start it
- 44:51the old Trumpster is forever saying you
- 44:55know it ain't my war Joe Biden's war
- 44:59if it was me it never would have
- 45:01started. Well, I'm not so sure about
- 45:03that anymore because you started your
- 45:08own brand of war everywhere else in the
- 45:11last little bit. Meanwhile, Trump warned
- 45:14that NATO would face a very bad future.
- 45:17his long long rant and I I wouldn't I I
- 45:20I rarely read it, but I saw this one
- 45:23because somebody else was quoting it and
- 45:26this horribly long rant of his about
- 45:31NATO facing a very bad future. Um if its
- 45:36European members refuse to participate
- 45:40in uh securing hormones, well, look what
- 45:44we've done for you. when what are you
- 45:46going to do for us?
- 45:48I'm not sure those two questions go
- 45:50together.
- 45:52Uh, arguably NATO would be some kind of
- 45:55a common defense, right? Although they
- 45:59they absolutely helped in the in the
- 46:01ridiculous invasions of Iraq that went
- 46:04absolutely nowhere after the fact and
- 46:08haven't helped at all. They're always
- 46:10along for the ride. and uh uh but I
- 46:13don't I'm not sure that under Trump
- 46:15they're going to want to
- 46:18um because he's he's he doesn't have to
- 46:22consult with anyone. I'm king of the
- 46:24world. That's it. And he doesn't have
- 46:26to. So, as the Iran war continues with
- 46:30no clear end in sight, the Washington
- 46:33Post reports, and I'm not a big
- 46:35Washington Post reader, but it says that
- 46:39Trump has received very sobering
- 46:42briefings on the Iranian leadership
- 46:45remaining firmly in control of the
- 46:48country. Well, that economist that I
- 46:50spoke to yesterday said that the the
- 46:52government is in control and the people
- 46:56in vast majority are supportive and and
- 47:00the attacking the country has done very
- 47:03little for uh you know gez and and who
- 47:09would think this anyway? What [ __ ]
- 47:11would think that bombing a country would
- 47:15turn the people into with the desire,
- 47:18especially at the levels that has been
- 47:20going on the last two weeks, one school,
- 47:24you know, assume even that it that that
- 47:27it was a, as Trump said, oh gee, they
- 47:29cut their own women in half and their
- 47:32cut babies heads off and stuff. Um,
- 47:34nonsense, by the way. But suppose
- 47:38uh that you even believe that and it was
- 47:41a false flag to destroy a naval
- 47:45officer's school with young girls
- 47:48between the ages of 8 and 15 and and 20
- 47:52or so of their teachers and staff that
- 47:55were there, right? Uh assume it was a
- 47:57false flag.
- 48:01I I it's not. I I I don't believe that.
- 48:04And I don't believe that Trump has any
- 48:07basis to to say that it was a false flag
- 48:10operation. And there's too much
- 48:13the AI targeting, the fact that it was
- 48:16near a um a uh prior military site, the
- 48:24fact that they did these decapitation
- 48:27strikes
- 48:29in as prevalent a manner as they did,
- 48:32they picked a wrong target.
- 48:35That's the most likely presumption is
- 48:38that they picked a wrong target. Tell me
- 48:41that under that scenario
- 48:45that if this happened, if the same thing
- 48:47happened and Russia did the same thing
- 48:50in Ukraine that everybody wouldn't be
- 48:53anti-Russia.
- 48:55They would be. and everyone would be is
- 49:01anti-US around the world over what's
- 49:04going on in Iran in vast majority. The
- 49:08only lunatics, you know, in Israel, the
- 49:11standard Netanyahu and and Lindsey
- 49:14Graham style lunatics exist. The rest of
- 49:18the world is going like Minister Ptorius
- 49:21said that this is not our war. We have
- 49:24not started it.
- 49:26And uh so
- 49:29I'm not sure where we go from here,
- 49:31people, but it wasn't just predictable,
- 49:33said the Washington Post. It was
- 49:36predicted. He was told all of these
- 49:38things in advance. Now, I've heard that
- 49:41story not just from the Washington Post
- 49:44Post, but from multiple sources that uh
- 49:48uh are, you know, respected journalists
- 49:50and not not crap for the most part. Now,
- 49:54there's plenty of crap out there, too,
- 49:56but uh uh I I I watched a Fox News thing
- 50:01several days ago, and it was
- 50:04embarrassing, you know. Uh it was a
- 50:06morning show. Three people sitting on a
- 50:10bet, you know, in these highback chairs
- 50:12enjoying their coffee and ranting about
- 50:15how great it was that we're bombing the
- 50:17crap out of Iran and that the Iranian
- 50:20people are going to reach up and over
- 50:22and turn over their their government and
- 50:24start again. You think so? I do not. And
- 50:29uh I think that little tidbit should be
- 50:33told a little bit more
- 50:38uh
- 50:41openly, let's say. Um and the EU is very
- 50:46very divided on on
- 50:51the Iran war. Very divided. There was a
- 50:55another article a kind of an opinion
- 50:57piece that uh says that this war how far
- 51:02with the question was it's kind of a I
- 51:05like to write this way sometimes you
- 51:07present a question and then provide
- 51:09alternatives to answer it and I and I
- 51:11liked this one um it said how far does
- 51:15the echo of the Middle East war reach
- 51:20and a lot of people say this is going to
- 51:23hit all of us
- 51:26uh choking off LPG,
- 51:29um LNG,
- 51:32um all kinds of stuff. There are road
- 51:34stalls or cantens. I I hadn't heard a
- 51:37story or saw read a story. Yeah, I read
- 51:41this story. Doesn't matter. But uh the
- 51:44that the Indians are
- 51:47now I don't know how this goes with it
- 51:50because you would think it's a little
- 51:52bit different. They say they're um
- 51:56um
- 51:58having to and and it's a long trail that
- 52:01gets you there, but the lack of oil, the
- 52:06lack of uh petroleum is causing
- 52:10shortages in food markets. I mean this
- 52:16is a is a consequential
- 52:19thing across India.
- 52:24I mean many many places in India there
- 52:27are concerns uh from cantens from
- 52:30restaurants
- 52:32from uh you know people's livelihoods
- 52:34are at stake. Uh they can't get
- 52:36shipments because uh shipments are
- 52:39stalled. Um, there's a guy uh here's a
- 52:44here's I was trying to find the quote
- 52:46that the guy said. A guy named uh Sing.
- 52:49Gee, there's a surprise.
- 52:52That's s i ngh gh the the and I'm not
- 52:56there's there's nothing wrong with the
- 52:58name. It's just that it's like Smith
- 53:00over over in America. Um so India,
- 53:04Pakistan, Bangladesh,
- 53:06other countries, Sri Lanka and the South
- 53:09Asia region are facing uh you know very
- 53:13prevalent signs of uh no liqufied
- 53:17petroleum gas. Um and there's a huge
- 53:20shortage as the Middle East hits uh the
- 53:23these energy supply chains. And so this
- 53:28isn't helping Donald Trump either. a guy
- 53:31named Praalad Singh who's 48 years old
- 53:34runs a roadside ery in outside of New
- 53:38Delhi and uh he's trying to figure out
- 53:42and you know they interviewed him he's
- 53:44going through his phone saying the
- 53:46disruption consequences of the war in
- 53:49Iran triggered by US and Israel a war
- 53:52that rattles the global energy supply
- 53:55chain and has led to uncertainty across
- 53:58oil and gas markets
- 54:00This is going to hit all of us, says
- 54:03Singh, who sells Chinese food from a
- 54:06small roadside stall and is now counting
- 54:09how long his remaining gas supply will
- 54:12last until he's loses his livelihood. He
- 54:16says the cylinder he is using may be the
- 54:19last uh may only last another 3 days. I
- 54:23am already worried that I won't be able
- 54:26to get another one on time. Our
- 54:28livelihood is at stake. Across India,
- 54:31similar concerns emerge from other
- 54:34cantens, restaurants, hotels who defend
- 54:38depend heavily on commercial LPG
- 54:41cylinders to run their kitchens.
- 54:44Energy supply disruptions have already
- 54:46pushed LPG prices up in India and
- 54:50elsewhere with the government recently
- 54:53increasing the cost of household
- 54:55cylinders by about 60 rupees and
- 54:59commercial cylinders by 115 rupees.
- 55:03Um now that's a small amount of money in
- 55:05America. But remember when you're
- 55:08looking at uh purchase power parody the
- 55:11rupee buys a hell of a lot more in India
- 55:13than uh the dollar buys here
- 55:17in the southern state of Telen Ghana.
- 55:19Vegetables like carrots, cauliflower,
- 55:21onions, cheese are chopped on restaurant
- 55:24counters. Um you you guys like biryani?
- 55:27Oh my god, I love biryani. And this
- 55:29one's talking about a biryani house, but
- 55:32the kitchen has fallen silent. The owner
- 55:34says that there are severe shortages of
- 55:36LPG cylinders and they don't operate
- 55:39except for one meal a day now. They
- 55:41operate only at nighttime. Uh the
- 55:44restaurant requires about 10 cylinders
- 55:47each week to operate smoothly, but the
- 55:50owner owner says he only got two
- 55:52delivered in the week. Uh with supplies
- 55:56tightening, the crisis getting worse
- 55:57every single day. Now there's a billion
- 56:00and a half people in India. Okay. So
- 56:05take this story and explode it
- 56:08astronomically
- 56:09because of the uh lack of of uh
- 56:16uh petroleum products. And the same goes
- 56:19in China. And uh I mean hell, we're
- 56:22feeling it here. You know, I was
- 56:24bitching yesterday about the uh the the
- 56:27cost of gas. I saw something yesterday.
- 56:30Um my first time I saw it, it was over
- 56:33in the Miami area.
- 56:36Uh more than $4 a gallon for gas.
- 56:40And uh uh diesel is well over five
- 56:44everywhere on my travels down here. Well
- 56:47over five bucks a gallon. And uh uh
- 56:50that's depressing. It's just depressing.
- 56:55So I don't know people. I think uh
- 57:00somebody needs to uh
- 57:03end this.
- 57:06It's not we're not going to have
- 57:08capitulation. But let's try to get to a
- 57:11uh a better um a better story.
- 57:14Meanwhile, all of this happening right
- 57:17now. China is very much in the news.
- 57:22China is um now everybody well I don't
- 57:25know if you heard this or not but
- 57:26apparently Trump is putting off his he
- 57:30he was planning to go to uh China at the
- 57:32end of this month meet with Xi Jinping
- 57:34and allegedly put some pressure on him
- 57:36about Russia. I think uh for several
- 57:39reasons um
- 57:43that is uh
- 57:47not going to happen. And I heard an
- 57:48interesting theory on this yesterday and
- 57:52uh I don't know how I think about it but
- 57:54but uh it it is definitely interesting
- 57:57and I can see that is uh a potential
- 58:01uh truth that
- 58:04Trump was trying to structure post
- 58:07Venezuela post Iran and he wanted a
- 58:11quick
- 58:14decapitation.
- 58:16We're taking the oil in Iran, too,
- 58:18China. So, you know, we took it we took
- 58:21it from you in Venezuela, and now we're
- 58:24going to take it from you, although
- 58:26ultimately I don't think they even did
- 58:27in Venezuela. Um, that's just a
- 58:30shortterm short-term deal. 3 years from
- 58:33now, it's not going to matter. Um, China
- 58:36will be right back in there. But
- 58:39I the the theory was that Trump takes
- 58:42Venezuela,
- 58:44takes
- 58:45um Iran,
- 58:49says he controls the global supply
- 58:52except from Russia and China gets uh I
- 58:57forget what the percentage is, don't
- 58:58quote me on it, but it's big percentage.
- 59:01I want to say 70 80% of their um
- 59:07or maybe they take 70 80% of the
- 59:09capacity of Iran through the streets of
- 59:11Hormuz goes into China. It could it's
- 59:14one of those two figures that they that
- 59:16they get um because China gets
- 59:20a butt ton of energy from Russia. Okay.
- 59:26And uh the story goes that Trump
- 59:30cancelled this meeting because he didn't
- 59:33get his quick victory and seizing of oil
- 59:37interests in Iran. I can't imagine that
- 59:40he would have tried it in the first
- 59:42place. Um you know that's it. I can't
- 59:45imagine now that that'd be a desperation
- 59:47move if that's what you think you're or
- 59:49or a completely arrogant and cocky move,
- 59:52one of the two. But it's not a
- 59:54reasonable move under any stretch of the
- 59:58imagination. It's either we're so cocky
- 1:00:00that we think we can decap capitate and
- 1:00:03these people are going to welcome us in
- 1:00:06with a, you know, open arms because
- 1:00:09they've, you know, they're cutting
- 1:00:11babies in half and chopping off women's
- 1:00:14heads in Iran.
- 1:00:16The error is in the premise.
- 1:00:19They're not doing that. or it is, you
- 1:00:23know, that we have horror stories here
- 1:00:24in America, too. If we focused only on
- 1:00:27the lone horror story that occurred, you
- 1:00:30know, you could argue that everybody
- 1:00:32here in America is a uh is a school
- 1:00:36shooter, you know, cuz we have plenty of
- 1:00:38that going on here. And uh or these mass
- 1:00:41shootings going on in America, far too
- 1:00:44many for my comfort, and I don't like
- 1:00:47it. But I don't want all of America to
- 1:00:49be judged because we got a bunch of
- 1:00:51morons running around. Well, you that's
- 1:00:53the same in any country. Everybody's got
- 1:00:55their share of idiots. And uh you know,
- 1:00:58you take the lone story of a a I don't
- 1:01:01know baby being cut in half 30 years ago
- 1:01:05and and I've never heard that story, but
- 1:01:07let's let's claim that. Let's give Trump
- 1:01:10the benefit of the doubt. I'd like to.
- 1:01:13But you don't get on Air Force One and
- 1:01:15say, "Well, you know those Iranians? all
- 1:01:17they do is cut their babies in half and,
- 1:01:19you know, behead their women. That's not
- 1:01:22true.
- 1:01:23Might be true of one Iranian or a
- 1:01:26couple, but you don't get to you don't
- 1:01:29get to lump the entire population into
- 1:01:32the the baby killing, the baby cutting
- 1:01:35in half and beheading wife bit. That's
- 1:01:38nonsense. And any more than you'd be
- 1:01:40able to call all American school
- 1:01:42shooters, nonsense. And so if that the
- 1:01:46the theory going that he's now having to
- 1:01:49figure out how to proceed because he was
- 1:01:52either a too arrogant or b uh too
- 1:01:56foolish to to understand the the risks
- 1:01:59and chose not to risk to uh listen to
- 1:02:02his leaders that here he is embroiled in
- 1:02:05another debacle uh in the the the far
- 1:02:09east. This is nonsense. And uh now how
- 1:02:15long is this one going to drag on? Is
- 1:02:17this one and and I heard him referring
- 1:02:19to them as terrorists again the other
- 1:02:21day? These are the terrorists. I thought
- 1:02:23the the Taliban was the terrorist before
- 1:02:25that or after that. I thought it was
- 1:02:27ISIS. How many freaking Everybody's a
- 1:02:30terrorist, too. Everybody's a terrorist.
- 1:02:32Everybody's a baby killer. Um and so
- 1:02:36therefore, we need to go to war with
- 1:02:37Iran.
- 1:02:41wrong answer. You don't you do not pass
- 1:02:43go. You do not collect $200. You don't
- 1:02:46get to go on to the next round where the
- 1:02:48prizes really, you know, uh improve and
- 1:02:52get bigger. No, we don't. We that is not
- 1:02:55what's happening. And so he's canled his
- 1:02:57trip to China. Now, I don't know that
- 1:02:59that's true, but it makes sense to me if
- 1:03:02that was his theory that he was going to
- 1:03:04go and hold China's feet to the fire
- 1:03:08about Russia and a couple of other
- 1:03:10things and about trade deals with uh
- 1:03:13Canada and Europe like uh he is he is
- 1:03:17you know speaking about he's going to do
- 1:03:20then
- 1:03:22the failure to take over the Iranian oil
- 1:03:25would certainly be a problem for him.
- 1:03:28That's what I believe. So anyway, China
- 1:03:32in the meanwhile has been meeting with
- 1:03:36many sides, many different countries.
- 1:03:39They've been talking to European leaders
- 1:03:41that are coming over. European leaders
- 1:03:43are co going to China. Chinese leaders
- 1:03:46are going to Europe. Same thing in the
- 1:03:48Middle East. Same thing in South
- 1:03:49America. Same thing across the planet is
- 1:03:53Chinese leaders are going right now and
- 1:03:56projecting the voice of
- 1:04:01reasonleness
- 1:04:03and because everybody is now claiming
- 1:04:07that Trump is not less than reasonable.
- 1:04:10Let's put it that way because he's he's
- 1:04:13doing anything he can. I mean, here's an
- 1:04:15example of another story um that proves
- 1:04:19that ex doesn't prove, but uh comes to
- 1:04:22the same conclusion.
- 1:04:24You know, it's just a story. It's not
- 1:04:26proof of anything. Take it or leave it.
- 1:04:28I can do anything I want with Cuba.
- 1:04:32I mean, think about that. I can do
- 1:04:34anything I want with Greenland. I've
- 1:04:35done whatever I wanted with Venezuela. I
- 1:04:38mean, hell, I can bomb the crap out of
- 1:04:39Iran and people are going to come
- 1:04:41running into my arms and talk about how
- 1:04:43glorious and wonderful Donald Trump is.
- 1:04:46Um, you know, he he may have the honor
- 1:04:49of being the president uh to take to
- 1:04:53take Cuba. I told you about this last
- 1:04:55week a little bit. US President Trump
- 1:04:58has said he expects to have the honor of
- 1:05:00taking Cuba in some form, claiming he
- 1:05:03could do anything I want with the
- 1:05:06Caribbean nation. He made the remarks on
- 1:05:08Monday in the Oval Office despite
- 1:05:11ongoing talks between Washington and
- 1:05:13Havana as the island grapples with a
- 1:05:16deepening energy crisis because the US
- 1:05:18has blockaded any oil from Venezuela. I
- 1:05:23do believe I'll be having the honor of
- 1:05:25taking Cuba and that's a big honor,
- 1:05:28Trump said, adding that he's taking Cuba
- 1:05:32in some form.
- 1:05:35I I I don't understand this thought
- 1:05:38process at all.
- 1:05:40I just don't get it. Who has asked him
- 1:05:45did did I vote for this? No, I don't
- 1:05:48know who else has voted for this. I
- 1:05:50didn't vote for him to take over the
- 1:05:51world. I taught him I I voted for him
- 1:05:54because I didn't want him to start any
- 1:05:58new wars or conflicts.
- 1:06:02The first year it's all about my my I
- 1:06:05didn't get the peace prize. That's my
- 1:06:07peace prize. Obama got one. Where's
- 1:06:10mine?
- 1:06:11Now it's I'm the wartime president. Look
- 1:06:14what I get to do. I'm taking Cuba. I
- 1:06:16already took Venezuela. And that's why
- 1:06:18Cuba's in bad shape because I won't let
- 1:06:20that Venezuelan oil go to Cuba. Screw
- 1:06:23them. We're going to take it. Is he
- 1:06:25doing this for Rubio?
- 1:06:29Very curious. I might have to look into
- 1:06:31that. This is nonsense because uh there
- 1:06:33there's been, you know, it's a big
- 1:06:35honor. Oh, yeah. It's a big honor. I
- 1:06:38Oh, we're saving the world, right?
- 1:06:41That's what we're doing.
- 1:06:43Pressed by reporters, Trump said that
- 1:06:45the US could take different actions
- 1:06:47toward the island. "Whether I whether I
- 1:06:50free it or take it, I think I can do
- 1:06:54anything I want with it if you want to
- 1:06:56know the truth," he said without
- 1:06:58elaborating. Trump spoke as Cuba plunged
- 1:07:01into a nationwide blackout Monday.
- 1:07:04Nearly 11 million people left without
- 1:07:07electricity as fuel shortages strain the
- 1:07:11country's aging power stations.
- 1:07:13Following the US president's comments,
- 1:07:16New York Times reported that American
- 1:07:19officials have signaled in negotiations
- 1:07:22that removing Cuban president again it's
- 1:07:25about regime change and that's it.
- 1:07:28Finding somebody who will lick Trump's
- 1:07:30butt for the next three years. Uh,
- 1:07:32President Miguel Diaz Canal could be a
- 1:07:35key objective in the bilateral talks,
- 1:07:38though Washington hasn't publicly
- 1:07:40confirmed that demand. I don't know why
- 1:07:42we why we don't understand that. I mean,
- 1:07:45that's the only reason we could have to
- 1:07:47take it. Why else? Why else bother?
- 1:07:53You know what we need? We need another
- 1:07:5511 million Cuban residents of Florida,
- 1:07:58right? I don't what state has that
- 1:08:00become in my ongoing uh
- 1:08:03uh you know determination of which
- 1:08:06states are uh we've added so far I can't
- 1:08:09remember the order anymore. Um Israel
- 1:08:12has always been state 51 but actually
- 1:08:14Israel is state one. The rest of us are
- 1:08:18number you know the rest of the American
- 1:08:20states are are numbers 2 through 51. And
- 1:08:24then uh 52 would be Canada, right? And
- 1:08:30then we have Greenland. We have
- 1:08:33Venezuela. We taking Cuba and Iran. So
- 1:08:37we could be up to 56 various states by
- 1:08:40now under Trump. He's adding states
- 1:08:42everywhere he goes. And uh we ought to
- 1:08:44be proud of, right? So 11 million 11
- 1:08:47million people
- 1:08:49on the government dole, right? have them
- 1:08:52come up and uh you know put their kids
- 1:08:54in American schools. That'll be great,
- 1:08:56right? That's what we're after as
- 1:08:58Americans.
- 1:09:00New York Times reported that these
- 1:09:02officials um you know that they want to
- 1:09:04get rid of this uh government. Uh the
- 1:09:08talks marked the first time in more than
- 1:09:10a decade that Havana has publicly
- 1:09:13acknowledged formal discussions with
- 1:09:16Washington. This follows several weeks
- 1:09:19of power cuts, fuel shortages,
- 1:09:23and and by the way, the US won't let
- 1:09:25anybody else in there to discuss with
- 1:09:26them. And uh uh you know,
- 1:09:32you wonder about uh whether this is
- 1:09:34really an anti-Russia move as well. Um
- 1:09:39but
- 1:09:41after all of this and the rising public
- 1:09:44anger after Venezuelan oil shipments are
- 1:09:48halted by the US following the US
- 1:09:51seizure of Maduro
- 1:09:54uh illegal seizure of Maduro but still
- 1:09:57happened.
- 1:09:58Um, Trump repeatedly has threatened a
- 1:10:02total oil blockade of Cuba and warns
- 1:10:06that countries selling crude to the
- 1:10:07island will face tariffs.
- 1:10:10I'm going to make you pay some tariffs.
- 1:10:12We're going to have four years of
- 1:10:13arguing over tariffs. Oh well, one of
- 1:10:16them's already happened, so we're well
- 1:10:18into that. Diaz Canal said last week
- 1:10:20that any dialogue with Washington must
- 1:10:22be based on the same thing that
- 1:10:24everybody else in the world wants.
- 1:10:26equality and respect for the political
- 1:10:28system of both countries.
- 1:10:30Stressing sovereignty and
- 1:10:31self-determination. He said that Cuba
- 1:10:34has received no oil shipments for 3
- 1:10:36months due to the blockade which he said
- 1:10:38has affected many including children
- 1:10:41needing medical treatment. Russia
- 1:10:43condemns the US economic blockade of the
- 1:10:47island and call these sanctions unlawful
- 1:10:50and destabilizing. And Sergey Lavough
- 1:10:53said, uh, Moscow supports the Cuban
- 1:10:56people in defending their own
- 1:10:59sovereignty.
- 1:11:01Um, I I I I don't really care for this
- 1:11:04um
- 1:11:07for this sort of uh behavior. I really
- 1:11:10don't.
- 1:11:12Um,
- 1:11:14I already told you about the Straits of
- 1:11:16Hormuz, but I did want to share this
- 1:11:19article with you, but I don't think I'm
- 1:11:21going to.
- 1:11:23Um,
- 1:11:25but on the same oil, you know, oil
- 1:11:28problems everywhere.
- 1:11:31I want to return to Hungary and Ukraine
- 1:11:36to replay these deals. Kiev is rejecting
- 1:11:40proposals from Hungary for a meeting.
- 1:11:44Ukraine is refusing to resume oil
- 1:11:47supplies via the DURJBA pipeline for
- 1:11:51purely political reasons despite the
- 1:11:54infrastructure being fully functional,
- 1:11:56says Peter Jarto, Hungarian foreign
- 1:11:59minister said that uh today he added
- 1:12:02that Kiev has declined a proposed
- 1:12:04trilateral meeting with Hungary and
- 1:12:06Slovakia to discuss the issue. Ukrainian
- 1:12:09authorities are preventing Russian oil
- 1:12:13from reaching Hungary and Slovaka
- 1:12:15Slovakia via the Drewba pipeline that
- 1:12:18runs through Ukraine, claiming it was
- 1:12:20damaged by Russian strikes. Budapest and
- 1:12:24Bratoslava have accused Kiev of
- 1:12:26blackmail and also say Brussels has
- 1:12:28sided with Ukraine instead of backing
- 1:12:31two EU member states and Ukraine's not
- 1:12:33even an EU member. It's become obvious
- 1:12:36that there is no technical or physical
- 1:12:38reason for the oil supply not to be
- 1:12:41restarted to Hungary through the Drewba
- 1:12:44pipeline said Jarto at a press
- 1:12:47conference in Brussels and he accuses
- 1:12:48Kiev of making a pure political
- 1:12:51decision. The minister added that a
- 1:12:53trilateral meeting with Ukrainian
- 1:12:55Minister of Energy in Brussels initiated
- 1:12:57by Budapest and Bratislava was cancelled
- 1:13:00by the Ukrainians. Again, he highlighted
- 1:13:03that uh Kiev has rejected all
- 1:13:06initiatives taken by Hungary and
- 1:13:08Slovakia and even the EU to even allow a
- 1:13:11site visit to see the actual state of
- 1:13:15the pipeline. Well, if it's not blown
- 1:13:18up, they'll blow it up so that so that
- 1:13:21they don't have to uh uh continue it.
- 1:13:23And then they just blame the Russians.
- 1:13:25Well, that's what they do everywhere
- 1:13:26else. remember they blew up the uh uh
- 1:13:28Nordstream 2 and said that was the
- 1:13:31Russians blowing up their own pipeline.
- 1:13:33That's what we heard for the longest
- 1:13:35time. Russia blew up their own pipeline,
- 1:13:38right? Yep. Uh minister added um uh
- 1:13:43reiterated that a delegation from
- 1:13:46Hungary spent more than three days in
- 1:13:48Ukraine last week, but all requests for
- 1:13:51meetings were rejected. So, you know, I
- 1:13:54can't tell you anything, but if a
- 1:13:56country keeps us under an oil blockade,
- 1:13:59then that country cannot expect us to
- 1:14:02support any decisions in Brussels in
- 1:14:05favor of them. That's the case in
- 1:14:08response to Kiev's halting supplies
- 1:14:10through the Soviet built pipeline. Now
- 1:14:12remember, this is all about 90 billion
- 1:14:14bucks that uh uh
- 1:14:18Hungary and Slovakia are blocking a $90
- 1:14:23billion loan that'll never be repaid uh
- 1:14:26to be giving more money, at least not by
- 1:14:28the Ukrainians. It'll be repaid by the
- 1:14:32EU because the only condition for the
- 1:14:34loan would be that it had to be
- 1:14:37guaranteed
- 1:14:39by the EU states. And so the EU uh
- 1:14:43leadership in Brussels, Fonderline and
- 1:14:46Kayakalis are trying to force Hungary
- 1:14:49and Slovakia into
- 1:14:52agreeing to this 90 billion although
- 1:14:55they're already members of the EU and
- 1:14:58Ukraine is not and so they support
- 1:15:00Ukraine over their own members. That
- 1:15:02tells you what you ought what you need
- 1:15:03to know about the EU, right? So, uh,
- 1:15:09the Victor Orbin vetoed the new round of
- 1:15:13sanctions against Russia and also
- 1:15:15blocked the 90 billion or 90 billion
- 1:15:18euro $105 billion loan. And on Monday,
- 1:15:22Sajarto confirmed that Budapest will
- 1:15:25continue to expose another bailout for
- 1:15:28Kiev until the oil supplies resume.
- 1:15:32Hungary, a long-standing opponent of
- 1:15:35Ukraine's EU membership bid, has
- 1:15:39consistently refused to send weapons to
- 1:15:42Kiev or approve EU military aid to Kiev
- 1:15:46and has called instead for diplomatic
- 1:15:49solution to the conflict.
- 1:15:53And that's that's true actually.
- 1:15:58Um, Lavrov said that uh uh Sergey
- 1:16:02Victorovich uh said that the EU has
- 1:16:05discredited itself completely in the
- 1:16:08Ukraine peace process.
- 1:16:11um
- 1:16:13the EU they they wanted EU wanted to be
- 1:16:16at the table you know and they want to
- 1:16:18be at the table uh for the Hormuz
- 1:16:21discussions but they don't want to be uh
- 1:16:24involved in the in the
- 1:16:27securing of it but the EU has completely
- 1:16:30discredited itself as a mediator in the
- 1:16:33Ukrainian process uh peace process said
- 1:16:36Lavro um the KV's European
- 1:16:42backers have demanded to be admitted
- 1:16:45into the Russia US Ukraine peace talks
- 1:16:49but they never they haven't upheld any
- 1:16:51prior agreements according to him and
- 1:16:53he's talking about of course the uh
- 1:16:57Minsk one and Minsk 2 and in 2014 France
- 1:17:01and Germany were the guarantors of an
- 1:17:03agreement between Ukrainian President
- 1:17:06Yanukovich and the opposition leaders
- 1:17:09But and that's the Minsk Minsk one,
- 1:17:11Minsk 2, which came up a little later,
- 1:17:13but did nothing when nationalist groups,
- 1:17:16Ukrainians, seized power. The EU failed
- 1:17:20in its role a second time under the 2015
- 1:17:22agreement, which was intended to
- 1:17:24reconcile the new nationalist government
- 1:17:27in Kiev with anti- coup forces in East
- 1:17:29Ukraine.
- 1:17:31And uh uh you know because they
- 1:17:34overthrew the government in Kiev, which
- 1:17:37you know, nobody paid much attention to
- 1:17:39over here until 2022
- 1:17:41when Russia uh who had been fighting the
- 1:17:44same battle for eight years was uh
- 1:17:48claimed to have invaded
- 1:17:52uh the territories that had uh uh
- 1:17:57separated themselves uh by referendum
- 1:18:00from Ukraine.
- 1:18:02former Chancellor to Germany, Angela
- 1:18:06Merkel, and former French president
- 1:18:09Francois Holland, who acted as the
- 1:18:11guarantors to the deal, later admitted
- 1:18:14that they never intended to fulfill
- 1:18:17anything and just wanted to buy time to
- 1:18:20arm Ukraine. And after the conflict's
- 1:18:23escalation in 2022,
- 1:18:26a settlement could have been reached as
- 1:18:28early as April of 2022
- 1:18:32if it hadn't been for interference by
- 1:18:35Boris Jansen. That guy Bojo
- 1:18:39is uh I never thought he was too bright.
- 1:18:41I thought he was your typical blowhard
- 1:18:44politician up there chasing young girls,
- 1:18:50chasing interns, spending money,
- 1:18:53spending the government's money on, you
- 1:18:55know, look how cool I am. And uh that
- 1:18:58exists in England just like it does
- 1:19:00here. friends and neighbors uh US for or
- 1:19:04I'm sorry the um
- 1:19:06EU the top diplomat uh you know Boris
- 1:19:11Johnson at the time um was really not
- 1:19:16good for for the EU in my humble
- 1:19:18opinion. Um Sergey Lavrav accused
- 1:19:22European leaders of wanting to preserve
- 1:19:25the presence of a Nazi regime in Kiev.
- 1:19:31and he calls that one of the root causes
- 1:19:34of the Ukraine conflict. If allowed, he
- 1:19:37said the Kiev regime would continue its
- 1:19:40hostile anti-Russian activities. They're
- 1:19:44going to do that anyway. They're even
- 1:19:45going to do it in America. They are not
- 1:19:47becoming Americans. They have no
- 1:19:49intention of becoming Americans. They
- 1:19:52Well, they want the passport, but that's
- 1:19:54it. You know, they just want the
- 1:19:55passport and then uh you know, want want
- 1:19:58the money. I wonder how many of them
- 1:20:00will actually go back, you know, to
- 1:20:02their Nazi regime in Kiev, you know, and
- 1:20:05and and move back into Ukraine.
- 1:20:10Um, I know a bunch of them over here,
- 1:20:12and I've asked them that question
- 1:20:14specifically.
- 1:20:16If you love Ukraine so much, why do you
- 1:20:20live here? You've been here 20 years.
- 1:20:24Why? And I'd give a name of the guy, but
- 1:20:26I had a a conversation with this guy.
- 1:20:28He's good. He was a funny guy. We
- 1:20:30partied together for a lot. I used to go
- 1:20:32to this Russian bath house, the BA. Um
- 1:20:36and uh there were I got in trouble by
- 1:20:40the owner and and and I was like, well,
- 1:20:42I didn't say anything. So, so a
- 1:20:44Ukrainian guy came up to me and asked me
- 1:20:47um asked me an opinion of the war or
- 1:20:49something and he started talking about
- 1:20:52uh uh the war and uh and I didn't, you
- 1:20:55know, he said some things. I haven't
- 1:20:57even said anything yet. I was just like,
- 1:20:59"Look, we're in America and I imagine
- 1:21:01half of the people here at the bath
- 1:21:03house are are Russian and half
- 1:21:05Ukrainian." And um the owner came up and
- 1:21:09started and and you know, hey, you can't
- 1:21:11come in here and and you know, get these
- 1:21:14guys all riled up. Me, I was the one
- 1:21:18that was asked the question. It's like,
- 1:21:21you know, what's the story here? But
- 1:21:23anyway, the guy that I um I spoke with
- 1:21:25him at a couple of times later at his
- 1:21:28house and so we weren't, you know, going
- 1:21:29to get beat up upon by the uh by the
- 1:21:33bath house owner. and um he says
- 1:21:37that he and his wife have lived in
- 1:21:39Florida um came to New York first I
- 1:21:42think and then Florida. They've been in
- 1:21:44Florida for 20 years and uh and you know
- 1:21:49he
- 1:21:51says that he still has a DACA in the
- 1:21:54Ukrainian countryside somewhere that he
- 1:21:56owns a plot of land and uh you know and
- 1:22:00somehow he was involved in
- 1:22:05my thought process on it was immediately
- 1:22:08money laundering of some sort but maybe
- 1:22:11it's just part of the corruption deal
- 1:22:13because uh all the money circulates back
- 1:22:16around. The only people who get any are
- 1:22:18the people who already left the country,
- 1:22:20you know, or people that are trying to
- 1:22:22get out of the country. And so everybody
- 1:22:24takes their dole and they get out. But
- 1:22:26this this guy's story was was was very
- 1:22:29interesting to me, but something wasn't
- 1:22:32adding up either. And uh hell, I should
- 1:22:35have stayed in the in the military or
- 1:22:37the government service because US Agency
- 1:22:40for International Development is one of
- 1:22:43my last tours that I took um over to
- 1:22:47Malddova and that was a corrupt hell
- 1:22:49hole and [ __ ] show um and money floating
- 1:22:53everywhere and US Agency for
- 1:22:55International Development
- 1:22:58telling us, you know, not much you could
- 1:23:00do about that. Then why in the hell are
- 1:23:01we doing it? you know, all the products
- 1:23:04we deliver are going one way and then uh
- 1:23:07uh the money is going another and some
- 1:23:09back into the pockets of the very people
- 1:23:11supplying it is what it seemed like to
- 1:23:13me even way back then. And uh it's and I
- 1:23:17had that's the first thought I had when
- 1:23:19speaking to this Ukrainian guy who's
- 1:23:21over here talking about you know living
- 1:23:23in America for the last 20 years and uh
- 1:23:26being connected to and whether he's some
- 1:23:29Italian guy just trying to claim he's
- 1:23:31with a mafia you know on the outskirts
- 1:23:34and that oh you know the family you know
- 1:23:37something like that or whether it's
- 1:23:38reality that he really was involved his
- 1:23:41story
- 1:23:44seemed a little odd to
- 1:23:46um on the connection side and on the
- 1:23:49money side and on what he was allowed to
- 1:23:51do in Ukraine even now. I've thought
- 1:23:55about doing a couple of shows on that
- 1:23:57type of thing. And maybe I will, but it
- 1:24:00won't be this week. I've got a couple of
- 1:24:03things. Um as the show winds down, I
- 1:24:05want to tell you that I am in Florida.
- 1:24:08Uh I I
- 1:24:12am heading back in the next couple of
- 1:24:14days.
- 1:24:16And so I should be here again uh for
- 1:24:18tomorrow's program in Florida, not in
- 1:24:21the studio. So which makes uh if there's
- 1:24:23any trouble in the broadcast uh I know
- 1:24:26that uh uh it it appears to be working
- 1:24:30okay and uh everything on the uh
- 1:24:33recording I seems seems to be coming out
- 1:24:36all right, but it'll be from uh outside
- 1:24:39the studio again uh tomorrow and maybe
- 1:24:42even the following day or this whole
- 1:24:43week. Civic Outlaws will be on Friday
- 1:24:46and uh we we have a big uh catchup day
- 1:24:49on that one from my show on last Friday
- 1:24:53and I suggest you go back and listen to
- 1:24:56that. You can go to
- 1:24:56civicoutlaws.commpodcast
- 1:25:01and listen to that show because we're
- 1:25:04we're pointing some fingers and uh I
- 1:25:07think we we we might be having an impact
- 1:25:10um on some of the well I know we're
- 1:25:12having an impact and I want the impact
- 1:25:15to be even larger. I don't like
- 1:25:17government overreach by any stretch.
- 1:25:20Anyway, I appreciate you listening to
- 1:25:23the show this morning. I appreciate you
- 1:25:25dialing in for the show uh daily from
- 1:25:297:30 to 9 Central Standard Time. And uh
- 1:25:34tomorrow is the biggest day in radio
- 1:25:37history at damradio.comlive
- 1:25:43where I get to kick the day off. And
- 1:25:45then we have a good number of programs
- 1:25:48you can find out about by going to this
