- 0:19Speaker 1: M Tampa Bay's best music is Magico nine.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Well, welcome back to another episode of Scotti and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:33Speaker 2: And yesterday we were talking about how there has been
- 0:35Speaker 2: some interesting connections in the sales department with you, Abby,
- 0:39Speaker 2: and I'm very curious because I didn't get this scoop
- 0:42Speaker 2: because before I even got to see you talking to
- 0:45Speaker 2: one of our amazing saleswomen, I had to leave. And
- 0:48Speaker 2: so I felt like that was gonna be the tea,
- 0:49Speaker 2: like you guys were gonna catch up on the text
- 0:51Speaker 2: that was sent. And so I'm very curious on that.
- 0:55Speaker 2: But I also know there's some other things happening and.
- 0:57Speaker 3: To get some tea. But I feel like we've been
- 0:58Speaker 3: talking a lot about TV in the studio this morning.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Scotty and I are going to have two very are
- 1:05Speaker 3: having two very different viewing experiences this week. So Scott
- 1:11Speaker 3: has decided to divulge to our listeners, who, by the way,
- 1:15Speaker 3: majority families Unfiltered. It's more like adults, Like, if you're
- 1:18Speaker 3: you're you're probably not twelve years old. I'm hoping you're
- 1:21Speaker 3: not twelve years old.
- 1:22Speaker 2: No, no, this is for the adult audiences.
- 1:24Speaker 3: For the adult audiences. And so it's one thing to
- 1:26Speaker 3: talk about your recent show binge on here, but Scotty,
- 1:32Speaker 3: with his full chest on air, tells everybody that he
- 1:37Speaker 3: decided to watch this show that you've already watched by
- 1:39Speaker 3: the way I have. He's rewatching this show called sex
- 1:43Speaker 3: life on a plane. In case it wasn't obvious, In
- 1:48Speaker 3: case you needed some explanation, the show is about two
- 1:52Speaker 3: couple's sex lives.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Jesus on the show is so good. So like I'm
- 1:59Speaker 2: going to explore like different parts of it and why
- 2:01Speaker 2: I started watching it again, but let me go ahead
- 2:03Speaker 2: and just put that on your radar. I recommend it.
- 2:06Speaker 2: It is very graphic. It's I would assume for a
- 2:12Speaker 2: well here, I mean, it's just the show. But yeah,
- 2:14Speaker 2: I did talk about on air how I watched this
- 2:18Speaker 2: show years ago, and at the time when I watched it,
- 2:21Speaker 2: I was in a different mental space where I was
- 2:24Speaker 2: watching it and it was kind of judging. I couldn't understand.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I was trying to understand like her desires. So what
- 2:30Speaker 2: the show is. It's this new mom who's in a
- 2:34Speaker 2: beautiful like house quote unquote relationship, but it's her trying
- 2:41Speaker 2: to understand and unravel why she has these desires for
- 2:45Speaker 2: her past life where she's thinking about past boyfriends and
- 2:49Speaker 2: hookups and all this sex and why she's craving it
- 2:53Speaker 2: because on paper, it looks like she has everything. And
- 2:56Speaker 2: so if you're just looking from the outside and you're like, girl,
- 2:58Speaker 2: what are you complaining about? But I love that it
- 3:01Speaker 2: hits on things that aren't spoken, where you have these
- 3:04Speaker 2: desires that you can't talk about. Maybe you miss something
- 3:07Speaker 2: in the past that you can't mention, or there's that
- 3:10Speaker 2: rut in a relationship where her and her husband are
- 3:13Speaker 2: just out of sync. And so when I watched it
- 3:16Speaker 2: years ago, I thought to myself, like, what is she like? Girl?
- 3:20Speaker 2: Get yourself together, Like, come on now, you need to
- 3:22Speaker 2: figure out your stuff. Your husband seems amazing. And I
- 3:26Speaker 2: watch it now and I'm like, I'm completely on her side.
- 3:30Speaker 2: You always want to watch the bone No oh no, no, no, I'll.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Get to tell them when you told me this morning,
- 3:36Speaker 3: tell them a verbatim what came out of your mouth.
- 3:38Speaker 2: The reason and it's ah, Jesus, if we go back
- 3:41Speaker 2: a couple episodes, now, you guys are gonna think of
- 3:43Speaker 2: just a freak. Yeah.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Watching it on a plane in front of small children.
- 3:47Speaker 2: No, there's okay. So I started watching it because again,
- 3:52Speaker 2: I've evolved as a man and I want to continue
- 3:55Speaker 2: to evolve as a man. And I knew in this
- 3:56Speaker 2: show there are gonna be things that the one like
- 4:00Speaker 2: super attractive and sensual actor was doing that. I was like,
- 4:05Speaker 2: I'm a student I could learn from you know, how
- 4:10Speaker 2: does he talk to her? How does he touch her?
- 4:14Speaker 3: Oh my god, you're watching fifty shades in sex life.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Let's just get you to watch like Pride and Prejudice
- 4:21Speaker 3: it Scott, just watch porn.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Well, and this is I was actually explaining this to
- 4:28Speaker 2: my lady about it because I thought, gosh, the the
- 4:34Speaker 2: male brain, especially when you're growing up, the way it
- 4:37Speaker 2: thinks of like sex is like, Okay, job must be done.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Do job well, produce, go do bed. I as I've evolved,
- 4:49Speaker 2: I don't want to be that guy that's just like
- 4:52Speaker 2: all about me. No, no, no, no, I want it to
- 4:54Speaker 2: be No.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I know what you're trying to say. I just think
- 4:58Speaker 3: it's interesting in the influences you're running towards. That's That's
- 5:02Speaker 3: what I'm finding interesting. It's like fifty shade sex life,
- 5:05Speaker 3: like these very specifically.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Kinky well, now, well, kinky is one way to put it.
- 5:10Speaker 3: But I don't say these are kinky shows.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I say female leaning.
- 5:13Speaker 3: No, these are kinky shows and they're absolutely female leaning,
- 5:17Speaker 3: but you know what, it's also female leaning. We've talked
- 5:20Speaker 3: about the other Bennett's Sister now available on brit.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Box, and that might be valid. Like I might watch
- 5:27Speaker 2: that and be like, oh, how does he speak to her?
- 5:29Speaker 2: That's what's it like.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I feel like you would learn more. I feel like
- 5:32Speaker 3: you just want to watch him bang.
- 5:33Speaker 2: No, I see that's where it went wrong. I forgot
- 5:35Speaker 2: how how graphic the show was, and that's why I
- 5:37Speaker 2: was I was like looking for a show to watch
- 5:40Speaker 2: on the plane because I was coming back from my
- 5:41Speaker 2: retreat and I was like, oh, hey, go let me
- 5:43Speaker 2: rewatch this. And maybe I told what I was like,
- 5:46Speaker 2: I can maybe just you know, study a little bit
- 5:48Speaker 2: and see.
- 5:49Speaker 3: I just can't imagine you're picking up any good lessons
- 5:53Speaker 3: from them.
- 5:53Speaker 2: No, because what I'm trying to discover, not trying to discover,
- 5:56Speaker 2: what I'm continuing to condition to myself, is like the
- 6:00Speaker 2: this is so weird, like the setting of where a
- 6:05Speaker 2: moment could happen, Like it's not just that he's like attractive.
- 6:08Speaker 2: It's honestly, I've watched this. I'm like, oh, it has
- 6:11Speaker 2: nothing to do with that he's attractive. It's like everything
- 6:13Speaker 2: of how he approaches her, how he looks at her,
- 6:16Speaker 2: how he talks to her, how he like gently will
- 6:18Speaker 2: like rub you know, her face with his hand and
- 6:21Speaker 2: like caress her head. And I'm like, ah, like these
- 6:25Speaker 2: are the things that are like building that tension, that
- 6:28Speaker 2: are very sexy that if I just watch traditional male stuff,
- 6:32Speaker 2: it's like you do all the work. I just go
- 6:35Speaker 2: ahead and we have fun and then we're done and
- 6:37Speaker 2: I take nap and I'm like no, no, no, no, no,
- 6:39Speaker 2: I'm not that guy. So I'm like watching, like, ah, interesting,
- 6:44Speaker 2: I see why a woman would see this and be like,
- 6:47Speaker 2: I'm craving man because.
- 6:48Speaker 3: He's a six foot five Australia.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I don't have that that that is not in my
- 6:52Speaker 2: wheelhouse plenty of other things.
- 6:54Speaker 3: How many episodes did you have to watch to get
- 6:56Speaker 3: that lesson?
- 6:57Speaker 2: Okay?
- 6:58Speaker 3: How do I how do I?
- 6:59Speaker 2: How do I go?
- 7:01Speaker 3: Well?
- 7:01Speaker 2: As I was watching it on the plane, immediately I
- 7:04Speaker 2: was like, oh my god, I can't watch this on
- 7:05Speaker 2: the plane, but I have to watch it on the plane. Yeah,
- 7:07Speaker 2: because it's like you, you don't have.
- 7:09Speaker 3: To watch watch nothing else down here, here's what you
- 7:12Speaker 3: could do on a plane, and here's the advice, and
- 7:15Speaker 3: I'll give you some new learning material. Is the day
- 7:19Speaker 3: that this episode comes out. There's a new show coming
- 7:21Speaker 3: out on Amazon Prime that I'm not getting paid to push.
- 7:24Speaker 3: But it's called Off Campus and girls love to read
- 7:27Speaker 3: and watch it specifically for the reason that you're talking about. Okay,
- 7:30Speaker 3: like it's a sexy show for women in their twenties.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Okay, then I'm in.
- 7:34Speaker 3: But there's a book series. And what I'm trying to
- 7:36Speaker 3: say is you don't always have to watch. Sometimes you
- 7:39Speaker 3: can get straight into a lady's head just by reading
- 7:42Speaker 3: one of these sexy novels. And I honestly feel like
- 7:45Speaker 3: you will learn way more by reading than you will
- 7:49Speaker 3: by watching fake schmacks go down.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I'm visual, you know, learner, and the show is good,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and I honestly I've liked one. I'm probably not going
- 8:01Speaker 2: to finish the whole season or two seasons, yeah, because
- 8:04Speaker 2: I already know how it kind of plays out.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I just think the books are a little bit more
- 8:07Speaker 3: in detail. I think it's more of an instruction manual
- 8:10Speaker 3: than it is.
- 8:11Speaker 2: As I would say, I don't know how many dudes
- 8:13Speaker 2: listen to this, but I would say I highly recommend.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Just It's like I look at it like I'm fine
- 8:18Speaker 2: tuning my car. I'm like, okay, like, yeah, I know
- 8:21Speaker 2: these things, but you could always, you know, go have
- 8:24Speaker 2: a reset.
- 8:25Speaker 3: But would you rather watch someone fix an engine or
- 8:27Speaker 3: would you rather read how to fix the engine? That's
- 8:30Speaker 3: a good question, and I think well might learn a
- 8:32Speaker 3: little bit more by reading the instructions.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I will go ahead, and because now I want to
- 8:37Speaker 2: watch that show. Now I want to watch Off Campus
- 8:39Speaker 2: to be in the no, but.
- 8:40Speaker 3: You can read the book, and I'm telling you the
- 8:42Speaker 3: book will be way more helpful for the reasons you
- 8:44Speaker 3: say you're watching these shows.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Okay, then I'm committed. I'm gonna go. Yeah.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I think you absolutely need to need to watch Off
- 8:49Speaker 3: Campus if that's truly why you're watching this touch line.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I find it interesting and I think that's like the
- 8:54Speaker 2: core of it is. I'm like, I need I love
- 8:57Speaker 2: understanding like a mainly not mainly a lot of women
- 9:01Speaker 2: and how they think. I love understanding that side.
- 9:04Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. You got to read.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Because then it just helps me step up as a
- 9:07Speaker 2: male partner, you know, and being able, like, hey, here's
- 9:10Speaker 2: the guy that lied about getting reservations to get us in.
- 9:13Speaker 2: You know that doesn't just happen everybody, nor lady.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Is that where you learned it from? No?
- 9:21Speaker 2: No, that was all me. I'm an original guy, all
- 9:23Speaker 2: right now, you know there's it just helps me.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Never mind, I just.
- 9:32Speaker 2: It gets my thoughts going. It's fun. It's fun. I'm like, oh,
- 9:35Speaker 2: that's an interesting take.
- 9:36Speaker 3: I'm telling you this is a good experiment. I think
- 9:38Speaker 3: you need to read at least one of.
- 9:40Speaker 2: These books, the off books.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, And I'll say that purely because that's what
- 9:44Speaker 3: all the girlies are going to be watching starting and
- 9:45Speaker 3: if you're listening to this that it comes.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Up today, I'm in. But it's a book series, it's okay.
- 9:51Speaker 2: So that's where these are very easy reads.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Like when I tell you these are easy, easy, trashy
- 9:58Speaker 3: books to read.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I'm in. I will commit to it. Yeah, because obviously
- 10:03Speaker 2: it's studiente. I'm a student of this, and I want
- 10:06Speaker 2: to cons best.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Thing that you've learned from the show.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I have learned how to take a moment and make
- 10:12Speaker 2: it more intense and longer lasting. Okay, So that's all
- 10:16Speaker 2: I can say here because I've already I gotta be
- 10:18Speaker 2: careful with the podcast. Amazon, don't even look at it.
- 10:23Speaker 3: That's the other thing, is Scott all Days, like, so
- 10:24Speaker 3: what's in your Amazon card?
- 10:25Speaker 2: Like?
- 10:25Speaker 3: I don't know? Cat food?
- 10:27Speaker 2: Okay, Well Mike, Okay, yeah, I can't. You know, there's
- 10:30Speaker 2: certain things that do need to be private. But you
- 10:31Speaker 2: know what, it's it's fun exploring. Okay, that's what's fun
- 10:35Speaker 2: about this whole situation.
- 10:36Speaker 3: I love that you are getting out your compass.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I will say I recommend the show. It's very steamy.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Don't watch it with kids around.
- 10:44Speaker 3: I'll watch you with kids, same with all campus.
- 10:46Speaker 2: That's well. Now, is it better to read it and
- 10:48Speaker 2: then watch it? Or if everyone's going to watch it?
- 10:50Speaker 2: Could I read it and watch it?
- 10:53Speaker 3: I mean you can do both. I think I think
- 10:55Speaker 3: you'll get different things from watching them versus reading.
- 10:59Speaker 2: What do you think I think would be the difference
- 11:01Speaker 2: then that I'm gaining from that versus what I'm getting.
- 11:03Speaker 3: If you're truly trying to.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Be I'm not a freak. I promise you're.
- 11:07Speaker 3: So such a freak. If you truly are oonest. I
- 11:12Speaker 3: don't know a studiante. I think you'll get more from
- 11:15Speaker 3: reading it.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Wow, is it like just what I'm telling you.
- 11:20Speaker 3: It's like watching somebody change an engine versus reading the
- 11:23Speaker 3: instruction manual on how to change the engine. Mmmm.
- 11:26Speaker 2: All right, then I'm in because if there's things that
- 11:28Speaker 2: I could learn, I'm always down. I don't like to
- 11:31Speaker 2: just assume I know it all.
- 11:32Speaker 3: You know, it's you can do an audiobook. It's like
- 11:34Speaker 3: listening to a podcast.
- 11:35Speaker 2: You can do it. You can be at the gym.
- 11:38Speaker 3: I was on a walk yesterday and I was like,
- 11:40Speaker 3: I really hope my headphones are plunding.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Oh God, somebody's gonna see that. They're good.
- 11:46Speaker 3: They're just trashy and fun.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Okay, that's fun, And I think that's the thing. Like
- 11:50Speaker 2: I sometimes I feel like you get older and you
- 11:53Speaker 2: just stay in your own ways and like you're like,
- 11:55Speaker 2: this is what I've done, this is what I've always done,
- 11:57Speaker 2: this is I'll always be. And I'm like, atolutely not. Yeah,
- 12:01Speaker 2: I'm evolved, baby, That's what I'm trying to do.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I'll give you some light reading material for your afternoon.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Well, then I'm in. I will start reading off. I
- 12:07Speaker 2: was literally start reading it today. You're I will I
- 12:11Speaker 2: will commit? Okay, I'm in for it. I don't know.
- 12:13Speaker 3: The first book is called The Deal by El Kennedy.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Okay, if anybody else is reading, we have a little
- 12:18Speaker 2: book club. It'll be fun and maybe we could take
- 12:20Speaker 2: our notes and compare that.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I'll be doing all day today. We're
- 12:25Speaker 3: posting this on Wednesday. It's been dream.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Are there like scenes?
- 12:30Speaker 3: Why don't what I mean if it goes by the book? Yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 3: I think it is supposed to be like rded R.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's spicy.
- 12:38Speaker 2: What the streaming platform is going to be on for watching?
- 12:40Speaker 3: Prime?
- 12:41Speaker 2: Oh? Oh I do have Prime? Okay, then I'm in. Well,
- 12:44Speaker 2: thanks for putting me on a You know what. I
- 12:47Speaker 2: stay by my ways, keep learning, keep growing, keep evolving.
- 12:51Speaker 2: So what the heck was this text? Oh?
- 12:53Speaker 3: Yeah, So when we were at the Raise game a
- 12:56Speaker 3: couple of weeks ago for my birthday, Remember we were
- 12:58Speaker 3: having a good time with everybody in the office. If
- 13:00Speaker 3: you miss this, we went to a Raise game. It
- 13:02Speaker 3: was the day of my birthday. We got super drunk at.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Brunch, Yeah we did.
- 13:06Speaker 3: We got brunch drunk and we went out to karaoke
- 13:08Speaker 3: with a couple of the salespeople, and one of the
- 13:12Speaker 3: sales ladies, her name is Scotti. She goes, you are
- 13:15Speaker 3: just the cutest thing. Do you have a bullfriend? And
- 13:17Speaker 3: I was like, no, no, I'm like, you see how
- 13:20Speaker 3: drunk I am? Like, do I look like someone who's
- 13:23Speaker 3: experiencing romance at this current moment? And she goes, I
- 13:26Speaker 3: just want to set you up with my friend's son.
- 13:29Speaker 3: And she shows me a photo and I don't really
- 13:30Speaker 3: remember the photo. I just remember seeing his hair, and
- 13:32Speaker 3: that's my thing. Like I feel like everybody has their thing.
- 13:35Speaker 3: My thing is hair, Like if you have a lot
- 13:37Speaker 3: of hair, that's like you're we're good.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Tough as we're getting older.
- 13:42Speaker 3: No, I know, but some people keep their hair.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I'm impressed. It's one of those things. And this is
- 13:47Speaker 2: a tie tangent. But now every time I see a
- 13:49Speaker 2: dude with good hair, like I want to compliment it.
- 13:51Speaker 2: It's a very weird thing. I would not have ever
- 13:53Speaker 2: thought I would do this when I was twenty two.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I love that men are starting to grow their hair out.
- 13:57Speaker 3: They're getting the.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Flow I want. I was just saying this to I
- 14:01Speaker 2: want to try that, but I don't know how the
- 14:03Speaker 2: heck's going to look. The last time I grew my
- 14:04Speaker 2: hair out, I was in middle school and it was
- 14:06Speaker 2: like a bowl or it's like I literally came down
- 14:08Speaker 2: like justin Bievis.
- 14:09Speaker 3: You like coconut head.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that's like, I don't know. I want to get
- 14:12Speaker 2: the cool flow, but my hair is not designed like that.
- 14:14Speaker 3: You need to find a stylist who can cut your
- 14:16Speaker 3: hair in a way that when it grows, it will
- 14:19Speaker 3: make sense for the shape of your head.
- 14:20Speaker 2: How do you find that?
- 14:21Speaker 3: Well, you can go to a like and go to
- 14:23Speaker 3: literally any stylist.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Okay, that's because I did try. Like this is me
- 14:28Speaker 2: with flow, This is me with flow on right now.
- 14:30Speaker 3: It's not a flow. That's opposite a flow. You're not
- 14:32Speaker 3: in a flow state.
- 14:33Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 14:34Speaker 3: Your hair looks good like your you your hair, it
- 14:36Speaker 3: fits your head shape. But if you want the flow,
- 14:39Speaker 3: you need to find someone who can teach you how
- 14:41Speaker 3: to grow the flow.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I need to find the flow person.
- 14:43Speaker 3: You you got to grow your flow.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Because I don't know what. I don't know. That's why
- 14:46Speaker 2: I'm watching these shows. I'm learning other things. Now. Somebody
- 14:49Speaker 2: needs to help me with hair. Yeah, anyway, So she
- 14:51Speaker 2: shows you this guy and.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Right hair, I'm like yeah, because I mean, you know,
- 14:54Speaker 3: I'm for Margeritas deep. I'm like, I so cute.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Set me up.
- 14:57Speaker 3: And then she goes and he bought a house, and
- 14:58Speaker 3: I was like, any is a house a house? And
- 15:00Speaker 3: let you know, I'm pushing thirty because I'm like, oh
- 15:02Speaker 3: my god, he's a four one K two.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Oh my god, security, my god.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Hang on, I'm close. And so she's like, I'm going
- 15:08Speaker 3: to set you up with him, and so I was
- 15:09Speaker 3: like whatever. So she texts me about it last week
- 15:12Speaker 3: in the middle of a podcast that I do with
- 15:15Speaker 3: my other old coworkers or coled personality hires, and let
- 15:18Speaker 3: me see what she said.
- 15:19Speaker 2: This is amazing because one thing I love already. It's
- 15:22Speaker 2: like it was mentioned when you were drunk and we're
- 15:23Speaker 2: all having a good time, and it's one thing to
- 15:25Speaker 2: just mention something. But now she's doing the follow up
- 15:28Speaker 2: where it's like, oh, you actually meant business about this.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Oh she meant she meant been business. And I saw
- 15:32Speaker 3: her on the hallway and she's like, oh, we can
- 15:33Speaker 3: set up like a boat day. I'll invite him. And
- 15:36Speaker 3: I was like, what we just do coffee. Like I'm
- 15:39Speaker 3: not say no to a boat, but like, like, can
- 15:41Speaker 3: can you hit me up? It's been like three weeks
- 15:43Speaker 3: good on the boat. So she sent me a text
- 15:45Speaker 3: and said, Hey, my friend's son just got settled into
- 15:49Speaker 3: his new house that he bought. Oh and we can
- 15:54Speaker 3: maybe set up a time. And I was like, yeah,
- 15:55Speaker 3: I'm so down and some Then like a couple days later,
- 15:57Speaker 3: she texted me and she goes, I want to hear
- 15:59Speaker 3: the tea after you talk with Blank. And I was like, girl,
- 16:02Speaker 3: I'll give it to you, but like, I haven't heard
- 16:04Speaker 3: from him. So then I saw her yesterday. She's like
- 16:06Speaker 3: coming to my office. So I sat down and I
- 16:08Speaker 3: was like, hey, like what's going on? And so I
- 16:11Speaker 3: guess he was like in Cancun last.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Week or oh so I traveled too.
- 16:15Speaker 3: I wonder if it's just one of those situations where
- 16:19Speaker 3: you know, how last week or two weeks ago, we
- 16:21Speaker 3: were talking about how I always get asked out and
- 16:22Speaker 3: then like the guys just they do the hard part
- 16:24Speaker 3: and then they just go all right.
- 16:26Speaker 2: They're like all right, I'm proud of myself for making
- 16:28Speaker 2: the question.
- 16:29Speaker 3: They just disappeared to where when I was on my
- 16:31Speaker 3: last show in Atlanta. I started thinking, I'm like, do
- 16:33Speaker 3: the guys google me and then they like they just
- 16:36Speaker 3: get ACKed out. I don't know.
- 16:38Speaker 2: I don't think that's it.
- 16:38Speaker 3: But it happens to me so frequent. It's happened to
- 16:40Speaker 3: me enough to where I'm like, this is a curse
- 16:43Speaker 3: laid upon me.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Oh so you think that, like he has your number?
- 16:47Speaker 3: Yeah, well allegedly he has my number.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Allegedly because that could be the problem, or he just
- 16:51Speaker 2: hasn't gotten around to it, Like I remember when you know, like, well,
- 16:56Speaker 2: I'm trying to think how much time passed before you
- 16:58Speaker 2: were able to get my number or I was able
- 17:00Speaker 2: to get my lady's number from you? Uh huh, because
- 17:03Speaker 2: it was like, I mean those a couple weeks.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Well that's because you were kind of doing this waffling
- 17:07Speaker 3: thing where it's like who makes the first move? How
- 17:09Speaker 3: do I want to make the move?
- 17:10Speaker 2: Is she?
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm interested.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yeah. I needed to make sure I had my ducks
- 17:15Speaker 2: in a row before I went and set the message.
- 17:17Speaker 3: So if you missed, did you need to get in
- 17:18Speaker 3: a row?
- 17:18Speaker 2: Well, we were, Let's see, I needed we needed to
- 17:21Speaker 2: have the time between her commenting on my post on
- 17:24Speaker 2: our post before you messaged her got the number, and
- 17:27Speaker 2: then I got the number, and then I think I
- 17:30Speaker 2: text her like a couple days after.
- 17:31Speaker 3: We didn't need any of that, She commented, I could
- 17:33Speaker 3: have given you the setup immediately.
- 17:36Speaker 2: I know, but I'm saying I still waited a couple
- 17:38Speaker 2: of days before I sent a message.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I feel like we waited a couple of weeks. Like
- 17:41Speaker 3: I feel like it was a while.
- 17:42Speaker 2: No, I don't think it was, because I literally looked back.
- 17:44Speaker 2: This is how weird I am and how I'm into this.
- 17:46Speaker 2: I went back and I found her exact like, what
- 17:49Speaker 2: was our first date? What date was it? So I
- 17:51Speaker 2: have it all tracked.
- 17:52Speaker 3: It was at least like two or three weeks because
- 17:54Speaker 3: I started February.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Second, and the video was for Valentine's Day, Like this
- 18:00Speaker 2: is for my situation, and so our first date was
- 18:03Speaker 2: February twenty eighth. Yeah, and so from Valentine's Day, so
- 18:07Speaker 2: like two weeks.
- 18:08Speaker 3: No, But she no, no, No, we posted. When did
- 18:12Speaker 3: I post that we were hang on?
- 18:14Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure we made that, Like her original comment
- 18:17Speaker 2: was on a Valentine's Day post, me find it.
- 18:20Speaker 3: No, I'm convinced it was February second that I got
- 18:24Speaker 3: to post, or maybe it was like February seven.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I saw the well me me, me.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Work at my Instagram posts.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Okay, I don't know, and if she messaged you separately,
- 18:36Speaker 2: let me see. This is all just to say that
- 18:38Speaker 2: maybe the guy's waiting.
- 18:39Speaker 3: So I posted that we were working together February fifth,
- 18:48Speaker 3: and that's she commented, like immediately on that post, she
- 18:51Speaker 3: was like your co host side.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I oh really, well, yeah, I didn't even know this comment.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Are you talking about the one where you were shirtless?
- 18:59Speaker 2: No, I had a post that The comment that I
- 19:01Speaker 2: saw was I think when I was giving out Valentine's
- 19:04Speaker 2: Day flowers.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Let me fine and her DM me because then.
- 19:06Speaker 2: She DMed me, oh this makes me so happy. Hang on,
- 19:09Speaker 2: let me fine, let me just have a gig game.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Yeah, oh oh wait, you're right, thank February fourteenth. But yeah,
- 19:16Speaker 3: that's still two weeks, but.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Two weeks before the date, and I think a couple
- 19:18Speaker 2: of days like once that comment went up, I needed
- 19:21Speaker 2: to get with you because then I think we saw
- 19:24Speaker 2: we went to the pool party after that, yes, And
- 19:26Speaker 2: I was like, Abby, you got to send a message,
- 19:28Speaker 2: like for the love of God, Yeah, and then I
- 19:30Speaker 2: waited a couple of days before I sent the message
- 19:32Speaker 2: gotcha because I was like, I'm shooting my shot. I
- 19:34Speaker 2: had no idea what late on the other side. I
- 19:35Speaker 2: don't want to miss because I was also planning for
- 19:37Speaker 2: Maybe he's like gating ready to take that shot, and
- 19:40Speaker 2: he's like, I have to do it right, the right opportunity,
- 19:43Speaker 2: the right time. You only get one shot. It's like
- 19:44Speaker 2: em said, he doesn't want to miss a chance to go.
- 19:48Speaker 2: But he does have your.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Number allegedly allegedly, but I'll never hear from him.
- 19:53Speaker 2: No, you will set up the boat day.
- 19:55Speaker 3: If history up. Yeah, I mean I want to go
- 19:57Speaker 3: on a boat. I'm going on.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Scott is a good time. She is good ass time
- 20:02Speaker 2: love Scott like that is a If it's not him,
- 20:04Speaker 2: it will be somebody else that she's connected to because
- 20:07Speaker 2: she's like team.
- 20:08Speaker 3: The story is gonna get so confusing because you all
- 20:10Speaker 3: have the same name.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Not me, not not me. I'm not that cool. I
- 20:15Speaker 2: don't have any friends that are super hot and single
- 20:17Speaker 2: ready to go.
- 20:18Speaker 3: I know, what the hell I set you up with
- 20:19Speaker 3: a hot friend, you open with the love of your life.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Where's mine?
- 20:23Speaker 2: Well, just in time, maybe it's the pool party this Sunday.
- 20:25Speaker 2: I do have some friends that are coming out to
- 20:26Speaker 2: the pool party. Some are single, be open.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Do they want to come on beas on Bee?
- 20:32Speaker 2: Yes?
- 20:33Speaker 3: I really need some literies this week.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I mean, that's you're in every time. It's nice.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Can you just ask them if they want to go
- 20:38Speaker 3: on baseil on basho this week.
- 20:39Speaker 2: I'm gonna let you do that on Sunday.
- 20:40Speaker 3: No, can you just give me their numbers?
- 20:42Speaker 2: I don't have their numbers.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Are your friends are not?
- 20:45Speaker 2: Well? I just met it.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Give me their instagrams.
- 20:47Speaker 2: I just okay, give me the answer. I will give
- 20:49Speaker 2: you the instagrams for this Sunday. I hope that works
- 20:51Speaker 2: out though. That'd be fun to be able to have
- 20:54Speaker 2: a common connect that makes it super easy.
- 20:56Speaker 3: And it's from my tiny mic on Sunday and just
- 20:58Speaker 3: be like it'll be Bayse off base.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Wore base off face. Sure, I'm very curious on the
- 21:04Speaker 2: crowd that's gonna be out there, and I hope, like
- 21:07Speaker 2: I I was thinking about this earlier in the studios,
- 21:08Speaker 2: We're like talking about it. I stress so heavily on
- 21:11Speaker 2: the lead up to events, and this is I've talked
- 21:13Speaker 2: to our team about this before where I'm like, I
- 21:15Speaker 2: have no idea how many people are gonna be there.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I have no idea if we're looking like it's gonna
- 21:19Speaker 2: be like a success. And so every bit of me
- 21:21Speaker 2: is stressed right now. I'm stressed because I just in
- 21:24Speaker 2: my head, I'm like, I'm gonna get there. Nobody's gonna be.
- 21:26Speaker 3: There, literally, the people. The people will be there.
- 21:28Speaker 2: That's what.
- 21:29Speaker 3: If you build it, they will come.
- 21:30Speaker 2: I we build.
- 21:32Speaker 3: That's good lessons for you from Sex Life.
- 21:36Speaker 2: You watched the show though, too.
- 21:38Speaker 3: I've seen the show, but I mean, like I think
- 21:40Speaker 3: it came out during the pandemic.
- 21:41Speaker 2: It did.
- 21:42Speaker 3: I mean, we're all freaky as hell during the pandemic.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Did you ever watch Did you ever watch three hundred
- 21:46Speaker 3: and sixty five Days? That movie?
- 21:47Speaker 2: No, that's freaky.
- 21:48Speaker 3: If you liked sex Life, you need to watch three
- 21:50Speaker 3: hundred and sixty five Days.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Okay, it's much freaky. It gonna because so far on
- 21:53Speaker 2: this podcast, I've talked about my watching. I've watched all
- 21:56Speaker 2: movies of fifty shades of Great. Yeah, it's Italian life.
- 21:58Speaker 3: It's Italian fifty shades.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Of Oh, good lord, that's too much. So it's like
- 22:02Speaker 2: all that fun spice, but with an Italian bands.
- 22:04Speaker 3: It's spicier than fifty shad.
- 22:06Speaker 2: It's it's freaky okay. See, I feel like it's like
- 22:10Speaker 2: I need to reintroduce myself. If they've like you've never
- 22:12Speaker 2: heard of me before and you're like, who's Scott, You're
- 22:14Speaker 2: just like, wow, he's so crazy. No, I'm a learner.
- 22:18Speaker 2: I'm a student. I'm killing me.
- 22:22Speaker 3: I'm like, just to tell me your role playing without
- 22:24Speaker 3: telling me your play I.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Am learning everything I can, but I mean, I'll take
- 22:28Speaker 2: the recommendations. I'm very curious on the off campus one
- 22:31Speaker 2: of like what it does differently, or like when we
- 22:33Speaker 2: talked about that show that what's the British weird show
- 22:35Speaker 2: that you watch the other Bennett sister rat one.
- 22:38Speaker 3: I showed you that scene and you were so bored
- 22:41Speaker 3: by it.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I was so bored. Like that's the part like that
- 22:43Speaker 2: maybe needs to be the newest studiente moment because I'm like.
- 22:46Speaker 3: But that's what I showed you. I'm like, do you
- 22:48Speaker 3: see how he's just like so enamored with her.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I didn't. I didn't understand it. It felt very boring
- 22:54Speaker 2: instead of like looking into her eye like that's the difference.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Like in that show that Abby's talking about, it's like
- 22:59Speaker 2: he's reading a poem door Oh my god, it's so sexy.
- 23:02Speaker 2: But in sex life he's like looking into her soul
- 23:05Speaker 2: through her eyes and he has his hand on the
- 23:07Speaker 2: side of her head and she's just melting into his arms.
- 23:11Speaker 2: That's the side that I need, Like as a man,
- 23:14Speaker 2: I want to step up in that area. Oh, I
- 23:16Speaker 2: can't read a freaking poem whatever. Trying to learn, okay,
- 23:21Speaker 2: trying to learn just it's just it's layered.
- 23:23Speaker 3: It's layered. Women can be more than one thing, women
- 23:26Speaker 3: can want more than one.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Thing correct, correct, And I think those are the elements
- 23:31Speaker 2: that I want to learn because I'm like, oh, I
- 23:32Speaker 2: didn't think that was a sexy thing, but I guess
- 23:34Speaker 2: it was.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Yeah, So there you go. There was your less You're
- 23:36Speaker 3: a studiante Lesson with the other Bennett's sister. And I'm
- 23:39Speaker 3: also giving me a straight woman being like, hey, I
- 23:42Speaker 3: think you should read a sexy novel and nah, I
- 23:45Speaker 3: just want to watch aug On.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Looks sounds not the boid, like that's the literally on
- 23:49Speaker 2: the plane. I would like have to dim it down,
- 23:51Speaker 2: like like thing.
- 23:53Speaker 3: About a book you don't have to dim it down.
- 23:55Speaker 2: I mean people are going to see the title of
- 23:57Speaker 2: it and they're going to like, oh that boy freaky.
- 23:58Speaker 3: No, they're not gonna be like, what's the deal? The
- 24:01Speaker 3: people don't won't know what you're reading. Okay, I'm start
- 24:03Speaker 3: reading over your shoulder, which I always get paranoid about.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Like can they see nobody? People don't like to read
- 24:08Speaker 2: in general. There's no way they're reading over your shoes.
- 24:10Speaker 3: I'm telling you, I think you would have a good
- 24:12Speaker 3: time reading The Deal. Mm or maybe you wouldn't. I
- 24:15Speaker 3: don't know.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I'm going I'm literally going to commit to it.
- 24:17Speaker 3: No, you're not.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I aware my name. I will commit have zero. Is
- 24:22Speaker 2: it on Kindle whatever?
- 24:23Speaker 3: I think you can get it. I think it's on
- 24:24Speaker 3: Kendle or iBooks.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Okay, Well, this is like I kept talking about, like
- 24:28Speaker 2: things we're committing to. If I'm committing to a book,
- 24:30Speaker 2: what are you committing to?
- 24:31Speaker 3: I'm committing to you getting up with you. I'm committing
- 24:35Speaker 3: to helping you get laid.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I you know what you let. Yes, I'm happy. I'm
- 24:43Speaker 2: very happy. It's very interesting. Like right now, I'm very
- 24:45Speaker 2: happy in what I have with my relationship and I
- 24:48Speaker 2: have a great thing going on here with the show,
- 24:50Speaker 2: and now I'm just like the other things. I'm like,
- 24:53Speaker 2: I'm about that was telling Abby, I'm like, I'm about
- 24:54Speaker 2: to move, which moving is not fun. I got to
- 24:57Speaker 2: figure out that situation. So it's all patterns of like
- 25:00Speaker 2: a lot of things in my life are really good.
- 25:02Speaker 2: There's a lot of things that are really stressful, and
- 25:03Speaker 2: now I'm gonna have to move on top of it.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Eating sucks, moving does suck, but lucky, I think I've
- 25:07Speaker 2: become a minimalist, so it's moving's not that sucky. But
- 25:10Speaker 2: I was looking and I'm very curious on what everyone
- 25:13Speaker 2: My question is. As I was looking at moving, I
- 25:17Speaker 2: was looking downtown and I was telling Abby about this.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I was like, how do people survive?
- 25:21Speaker 3: No, it's so expensive to live on your own in
- 25:23Speaker 3: Tampa specifically, And I say that as someone who just
- 25:26Speaker 3: moved from Atlanta, Like the rent is double here.
- 25:30Speaker 2: That's insane.
- 25:31Speaker 3: It's insane.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Like my whole thought is I just had no idea
- 25:34Speaker 2: because there's a lot of people that live downtown or
- 25:36Speaker 2: just in general, just around I'm like, is all your
- 25:39Speaker 2: money just going to rent? Yeah, like every single dollar.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Or they have a bunch of roommates, or they have
- 25:43Speaker 3: a partner that they live with.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Mmm, I guess that would be it, like the partner
- 25:46Speaker 2: would be it, because I think that's what I was telling.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Apples was like, I'm in that chapter right now where
- 25:50Speaker 2: I'm like, I am ready to live alone. I am
- 25:52Speaker 2: done with any friends's roommates. I've done that in my
- 25:56Speaker 2: entire twenties and in college, and I'm done with it.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I want my own space to walk in and it's calm.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I have my little candle, I light a little couch
- 26:05Speaker 2: I could sit on, and I clean the dishes. I
- 26:08Speaker 2: don't want to be cleaning up other people's dishes. Done
- 26:11Speaker 2: with that. But I was looking and I kind of
- 26:13Speaker 2: got this idea. I was like, oh, that'd be so fun.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I could live downtown. I could walk to events, I
- 26:18Speaker 2: could go down to bars and restaurants.
- 26:21Speaker 3: And I was like, god, lord, it's so expensive.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Like for a studio, which I used to think maybe
- 26:26Speaker 2: I could do a studio, and I was like, looking
- 26:27Speaker 2: at pictures of it and you walk in and I
- 26:30Speaker 2: know what a studio is, but to see it in person,
- 26:32Speaker 2: I'm like, Oh, that's nutty.
- 26:34Speaker 3: It's depressing.
- 26:34Speaker 2: It's like kitchen, living room, literally behind the living room
- 26:38Speaker 2: like they had like the pictures, like two chairs, there's
- 26:40Speaker 2: the bed. I was like, what does that look like
- 26:42Speaker 2: when people come over? And I think that's what stirred
- 26:45Speaker 2: me away from that idea. I was like, do people
- 26:46Speaker 2: just sit on my bed? Do they just hang out
- 26:49Speaker 2: like in the kitchen?
- 26:50Speaker 3: I know?
- 26:50Speaker 2: And squished oily invite two people over at a time.
- 26:53Speaker 3: It's ridiculous. And that's why I'm like, I'm being so
- 26:56Speaker 3: nice to my parents because I'm like, I can never
- 26:57Speaker 3: move out of their house.
- 26:58Speaker 2: I saw your sense I was like laughing, yes, jay
- 27:01Speaker 2: As I was looking at your Instagram and it's there
- 27:03Speaker 2: is a price to pay with everything.
- 27:04Speaker 3: There's a price to pay with everything.
- 27:05Speaker 2: And is your price that you have security cameras watching?
- 27:08Speaker 3: Yeah, And to be fair, it's a very low price
- 27:10Speaker 3: to pay, Like I will say, like I know, I'm
- 27:13Speaker 3: complaining about it just because it is a little bit like,
- 27:15Speaker 3: oh my god, I'm twenty nine years old. Here I
- 27:17Speaker 3: am moving to my parents' house and they are just
- 27:20Speaker 3: watching my avery move and I mean like they but
- 27:23Speaker 3: it's a comparatively I will pay that any day over
- 27:27Speaker 3: having to pay thirty one hundred dollars just for a
- 27:29Speaker 3: shittier living situation.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I was laughing, like when I was looking at all
- 27:33Speaker 2: these prices and I thought, I literally thought about your situation.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Was like this make a micro Oh it's so nice.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I was like, that is so nice to not in
- 27:42Speaker 2: this chapter.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Hell no, I mean, my parents have me so whipped.
- 27:45Speaker 3: I'm like, whatever you need, Like, I'm hiring cleaners once
- 27:47Speaker 3: a week so the place is Spotless'm watering your plants,
- 27:49Speaker 3: whatever you need for me, absolutely, and it's working out
- 27:52Speaker 3: great because I mean, my my mom was like, yeah,
- 27:53Speaker 3: I don't know when I'm gonna be able to come
- 27:55Speaker 3: down to the townhouse next. And I was like, I
- 27:57Speaker 3: love that.
- 27:58Speaker 2: I mean, if if you have to just with like
- 28:00Speaker 2: roommates quote unquote, you know, family coming in every now
- 28:04Speaker 2: and then, oh my god.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Well, to be fair, it was a lot in the beginning.
- 28:07Speaker 2: That's true.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Like my mom, It is funny that when I first
- 28:10Speaker 3: moved here, my mom was like, I'm gonna be here
- 28:12Speaker 3: for a week. I'm like, why, No, neither of us
- 28:13Speaker 3: want that. I don't want you here. I don't know
- 28:16Speaker 3: why you want to be here.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Do you think your mom gets annoyed with you living
- 28:19Speaker 2: in the space, Like when she's.
- 28:20Speaker 3: There, she likes to my mom likes to make specific
- 28:25Speaker 3: comments about how messy I am and ah, but like
- 28:28Speaker 3: I've taken really good care of the townhouse. I mean, granted,
- 28:31Speaker 3: like I've hired someone to professionally clean, but that's because
- 28:33Speaker 3: my mom has one of those like neurotic cleaning tendencies
- 28:37Speaker 3: that I just don't have. Like for me, as long
- 28:39Speaker 3: as it doesn't look like a homeless a person experiencing
- 28:42Speaker 3: homelessness lives, I don't know. I really try not to
- 28:45Speaker 3: get canceled. Yeah, as long as it doesn't look like
- 28:48Speaker 3: Oscar the Grouch lives there, there you go, and there's
- 28:50Speaker 3: not like cat throw up on the floor, Like for me,
- 28:53Speaker 3: I'm fine, and there's not like flies. As long as
- 28:55Speaker 3: it's not dirty, I'm fine with it. My mom is
- 28:59Speaker 3: one of those people and my dad too, Like if
- 29:00Speaker 3: there's cat hair on the floor, it sends them into
- 29:03Speaker 3: like a spiral. So for me, I'm like, Okay, if
- 29:06Speaker 3: the cost of rent is just having someone clean my place,
- 29:08Speaker 3: like that's fine, and.
- 29:09Speaker 2: It's kind of nice for you, Like I get such
- 29:11Speaker 2: clarity when someone cleans it's great. Oh it smells better.
- 29:15Speaker 2: It looks better, it's the best. But I always have
- 29:17Speaker 2: a problem, like because I would have somebody like every
- 29:19Speaker 2: now and then come by and like clean up the
- 29:21Speaker 2: place because I can't do all that, and they're like
- 29:24Speaker 2: a day later, it's back to messy, and I'm like,
- 29:25Speaker 2: what the hell did I do? No.
- 29:26Speaker 3: I know that's how I feel too, where I'm like,
- 29:28Speaker 3: that's why I get annoyed cleaning. It's not that I
- 29:30Speaker 3: don't like a clean place, and it's not that I
- 29:32Speaker 3: don't enjoy cleaning. It's just one of those things where
- 29:35Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my god, I gotta do this every day.
- 29:37Speaker 3: It's oh my god, like it just I literally just
- 29:39Speaker 3: got it cleaned yesterday, and now I'm like it looks
- 29:41Speaker 3: like nobody did anything.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Did anybody even come over?
- 29:44Speaker 3: Like I professionally got it cleaned right before my parents
- 29:47Speaker 3: came a couple of weeks ago, and there was like
- 29:49Speaker 3: a couple of tufts of cat hair. My dad was like,
- 29:51Speaker 3: oh my god, I gotta get to get to the
- 29:52Speaker 3: vacuum over here. I'm like, just the cost. It's like
- 29:55Speaker 3: I'm living here, I have two cats here, Like of
- 29:57Speaker 3: course you're gonna see some some cat hair.
- 30:00Speaker 2: It's like everyone has that like limit. Like for me,
- 30:02Speaker 2: it's like dishes. If there's my neurotic is if there's
- 30:05Speaker 2: a dish in the sink and the dishwashers like not clean,
- 30:08Speaker 2: I go a little crazy because I'm like, what the
- 30:10Speaker 2: it's an extra second? That's the all you gotta do? Oh,
- 30:14Speaker 2: that drives me up a wall. So I guess everyone
- 30:16Speaker 2: has that line.
- 30:17Speaker 3: For me, it's like like if I if my cats
- 30:22Speaker 3: are up, that's instantly cleaned up.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I would hope. So that one sounds.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Gross in Florida. If I start to notice like a
- 30:29Speaker 3: fruit flyer here and there, that that drives me insane.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Mmmm. See that's really tough. That's when you know like
- 30:34Speaker 2: something's wrong, or if you have that and you don't
- 30:36Speaker 2: know what's wrong.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Well, it's that's the hard part. Sometimes you don't know
- 30:39Speaker 3: like where where are they coming from?
- 30:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and you gotta find the food, you gotta find
- 30:43Speaker 2: what's out in the counter. Yeah. We have a window
- 30:45Speaker 2: that's broken in my house right now. So it's like,
- 30:47Speaker 2: oh god, my little like crazy brain is like, oh
- 30:49Speaker 2: my god, there's a bug. And not that I hate bugs,
- 30:52Speaker 2: but I don't want bugs in the house. I completely
- 30:54Speaker 2: agree and I see like a fly going around, but
- 30:55Speaker 2: there's nothing like This would be.
- 30:57Speaker 3: A great time for me to tell you to call
- 30:58Speaker 3: a Hughes exterminator who I endorse. Now there you go.
- 31:03Speaker 2: You know what, I will give them.
- 31:04Speaker 3: A ring shout out Hughes exterminators. Wow.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I will make sure to make sure. Uh I tell
- 31:09Speaker 2: him Abby sent me he was exterminators.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Oh wait, wait, we also have something we forgot to
- 31:15Speaker 3: talk about.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Yes, Oh, actually, that's actually a good time.
- 31:18Speaker 3: We need to like put it more in the beginning.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Oh, we could mention it right now?
- 31:21Speaker 3: Can we mention it? Is it to have we done?
- 31:23Speaker 3: Do we need to cut something separate and put in
- 31:25Speaker 3: the beginning?
- 31:26Speaker 2: No, I would say right now, we could also talk
- 31:28Speaker 2: about it because it's also like the cool thing about
- 31:29Speaker 2: this is it's an opportunity for you to win big
- 31:33Speaker 2: and it's also an opportunity to celebrate one you being
- 31:37Speaker 2: a part of this podcast and getting to see how
- 31:39Speaker 2: it grows. Because we just got some cool, excited news.
- 31:41Speaker 3: So this is huge and we really have you to
- 31:43Speaker 3: think for it. So just give yourself a little pad
- 31:46Speaker 3: on the back, a big squeeze and a hug, and
- 31:48Speaker 3: just know that's for me and Scotty going, oh my
- 31:49Speaker 3: love's so much. Thank you for supporting us. But because
- 31:52Speaker 3: because you guys are supporting the podcast and listening, which
- 31:55Speaker 3: I'm so glad you guys are enjoying it and like
- 31:57Speaker 3: going fair all because we couldn't pose last week. I
- 32:00Speaker 3: didn't really like I know, like I see the numbers
- 32:02Speaker 3: and I go oh xyz amount of people listen, but
- 32:04Speaker 3: like to see your passion behind it, be like where's
- 32:06Speaker 3: the next episode?
- 32:07Speaker 2: Yeah? I love that.
- 32:08Speaker 3: That's why we do what we do. So anyway, because
- 32:10Speaker 3: you tune in every single day and you listen in.
- 32:13Speaker 3: We have our first podcast sponsor.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Let's go. I feel like we need balloons, and.
- 32:22Speaker 3: This podcast is sponsored by Beat Books.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:26Speaker 3: We we have a really exciting thing opportunity for you
- 32:29Speaker 3: to win big and go to bonner Roof pretty much
- 32:32Speaker 3: for free.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean it's gonna be you and three friends
- 32:35Speaker 2: that And like I was talking to my brother and
- 32:37Speaker 2: my brother loves the music festival, yes, and Bonnerous like
- 32:40Speaker 2: one of the biggest ones.
- 32:41Speaker 3: And it's right outside of Nashville, which is such a
- 32:43Speaker 3: fun music city.
- 32:44Speaker 2: And so you actually get to an opportunity to go
- 32:47Speaker 2: for free thanks to Beatbox, who is now a sponsor
- 32:49Speaker 2: of this podcast. And so not only are you getting
- 32:52Speaker 2: hooked up, you're gonna get hooked up a beatbox. You

- 32:56Speaker 2: and then they're also wanting to hook you up with
- 32:58Speaker 2: a five hundred dollars gas gift card to fuel the
- 33:01Speaker 2: entire adventure. And that's honestly, it's because of you supporting
- 33:04Speaker 2: this podcast. So I will say, if like you're interested

- 33:10Speaker 2: It's my Magic ninety four to nine dot com. All
- 33:13Speaker 2: of the infos right there. But when we make mention
- 33:15Speaker 2: of Beatbox on the podcast, like I just want everybody
- 33:17Speaker 2: to snap, like the moment, like come on, now they
- 33:20Speaker 2: got themselves some beatbox and every now and then maybe
- 33:22Speaker 2: we'll have something like maybe they'll be like a Friday
- 33:24Speaker 2: podcast thing. We'll crack open.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Yeah, and then we just crack it back clothes because
- 33:30Speaker 3: it's reusable.
- 33:31Speaker 2: It's reusable, and just have like.
- 33:32Speaker 3: We need like a little fridge where we can keep
- 33:34Speaker 3: our beat boxes, a beatboxdge. So we want to have
- 33:36Speaker 3: like a little nine am happy hour.
- 33:38Speaker 2: I mean on a Friday it wouldn't be the first time,
- 33:41Speaker 2: so huge, thank you for supporting this podcast and all
- 33:43Speaker 2: we get to celebrate all summer with Beatbox, who were
- 33:46Speaker 2: extremely excited to bring in to the podcast world. And
- 33:50Speaker 2: hopefully we get to send you to Bonnaroo.
- 33:52Speaker 3: Dude, I can't let I'm like so excited we get
- 33:55Speaker 3: to send somebody to Bonnaroo back in.
- 33:57Speaker 2: The day, like that used to be a thing here where.
- 33:59Speaker 2: I don't know if you do that when you first
- 34:00Speaker 2: got started, but like sending you to like big shows,
- 34:04Speaker 2: big festivals, big concerts. Yeah, did you ever just get
- 34:07Speaker 2: to did you ever have to travel for a show
- 34:09Speaker 2: when you first got started in radio?
- 34:11Speaker 3: Yeah, they were gonna send me to Bonnaroo actually a
- 34:14Speaker 3: couple of years back, and I remember being so excited
- 34:16Speaker 3: because I was going through a Nashville phase.
- 34:20Speaker 2: But you never got to go on that trip. Why
- 34:21Speaker 2: did that fall through?
- 34:23Speaker 3: I don't know. I just don't think I got to
- 34:25Speaker 3: go to Disney a bunch.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Okay, Disney's cool.
- 34:27Speaker 3: I will say they did send me to Disney a ton,
- 34:29Speaker 3: which was great because my friends back in Jack's were
- 34:31Speaker 3: like huge Disney fans, So I got to be the
- 34:34Speaker 3: cool friend and treat them to some fun weekends.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Honestly, that is my favorite flex. Like when friends come
- 34:39Speaker 2: to town or they're like, oh, what are we gonna do?
- 34:41Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, don't worry, I got the hook up here.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I'll get you tickets to this. The problem is then
- 34:46Speaker 2: it starts to get people get a little too excited. Yes,
- 34:49Speaker 2: and you do it once and they're like, oh, I
- 34:51Speaker 2: see this person's coming.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Well, I was so excited because post Malone was coming
- 34:54Speaker 3: and I was going to take my mom to post
- 34:56Speaker 3: Malone because she loves country music and I just thought
- 34:58Speaker 3: she would have a really good time. And then he postponed.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Oh he put the post in postponement?
- 35:03Speaker 2: Is that because I saw all the rumors like it
- 35:05Speaker 2: wasn't selling.
- 35:07Speaker 3: He said it was a music issue, like he needs
- 35:11Speaker 3: more time to work on music. I don't know.
- 35:13Speaker 2: I don't know if that's it.
- 35:14Speaker 3: I just don't know that people can afford to go
- 35:15Speaker 3: to concerts anymore.
- 35:16Speaker 2: That's the biggest thing. We've mentioned that a couple times
- 35:18Speaker 2: on the show. But like looking at tickets to go
- 35:21Speaker 2: to a show's like you have to, honestly, like weigh
- 35:24Speaker 2: out what is your favorite artist and what is worthy
- 35:26Speaker 2: of going because That's what I'm saying. That goes back
- 35:28Speaker 2: to the rent conversation, like if you're spending all your money,
- 35:31Speaker 2: Like if I was to go ahead and say I'm
- 35:33Speaker 2: moving downtown, yeah, I would have to cut out so
- 35:36Speaker 2: many things of my life just for the luxury of
- 35:38Speaker 2: saying I live downtown and it's a nice spot. Yeah,
- 35:41Speaker 2: But like is the pool worth it? I don't know.
- 35:44Speaker 2: I don't even go to downtown that much anyway. You'll
- 35:46Speaker 2: never use that pool, That's what I'm saying, like the
- 35:48Speaker 2: amenities that I think were coming with it, and then
- 35:49Speaker 2: on top of it, I mean to be honest, I've
- 35:52Speaker 2: been very jaded, very grateful for this job, but jaded
- 35:56Speaker 2: because a lot of the concerts are like Okay, here's
- 35:58Speaker 2: a couple extra set of tickets, go enjoy.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Oh, like getting to go to all the Lightning games.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I never would pay for those things, not because
- 36:05Speaker 2: I don't want to go, because it's that are groceries
- 36:09Speaker 2: like I'm gonna go pay to see an artist that
- 36:11Speaker 2: I kind of like pay for. What was it the
- 36:14Speaker 2: last Lightning game that we went to, we went and
- 36:16Speaker 2: sat outside.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Oh no, I forgot about that. This is so funny,
- 36:22Speaker 3: so Scott and I. The last couple of times we've
- 36:24Speaker 3: been to the Lightning games, we've gotten to go sit
- 36:25Speaker 3: in the club seeds, and we could have gotten club seats,
- 36:28Speaker 3: but we didn't ask in time because I didn't know.
- 36:30Speaker 3: I don't know that we knew that we were going
- 36:31Speaker 3: to go to that game.
- 36:32Speaker 2: No, we did not. Well, nobody like okay and this
- 36:35Speaker 2: yeah side tangent. No, But like I always, when friends
- 36:39Speaker 2: ask me for tickets, it's not annoying, but if you
- 36:42Speaker 2: ask too many times, I'm like, all right, I don't
- 36:44Speaker 2: have that much access. Yes, I feel bad always asking.
- 36:46Speaker 3: We try to pick and choose when we asked because
- 36:48Speaker 3: we don't want to be.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Those people correct. But what we got told last time
- 36:52Speaker 2: was we didn't ask quick enough, and I was like,
- 36:54Speaker 2: really we would have. If we would have asked the
- 36:56Speaker 2: day before, we would have been in I know. But
- 36:58Speaker 2: when we paid for the goat outside of the stadium,
- 37:01Speaker 2: I mean, it's five bucks again, and that's no biggie.
- 37:03Speaker 3: And it's a cool environment. I will say, if you're
- 37:05Speaker 3: a fan, it is cool. It does suck that they
- 37:08Speaker 3: can't turn on the big screen until it gets super dark,
- 37:11Speaker 3: I know, so you're like watching a little tiny screen
- 37:14Speaker 3: and we got kicked out of our little spots.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and I wanted to do that, but I paid
- 37:17Speaker 2: fifty dollars just to park. I was like, at that point,
- 37:21Speaker 2: I might as well have found a way to get
- 37:22Speaker 2: into the state.
- 37:23Speaker 3: See, if you live downtown, you wouldn't have to pay a.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Bar or I live downtown, I'd be eating peanut butter
- 37:29Speaker 2: jelly sandwiches every single day. Yeah, I would have one.
- 37:32Speaker 2: And that's why I was trying to like, and I
- 37:33Speaker 2: still haven't made a definite decision of what I'm going
- 37:35Speaker 2: to do, but I was like, I was so close
- 37:38Speaker 2: to just pulling the trigger and saying I'm just gonna
- 37:40Speaker 2: go for a year downtown, spend all this money, and
- 37:43Speaker 2: just have that life for just a year, because well,
- 37:45Speaker 2: what else do you get it?
- 37:45Speaker 3: We did talk about you maybe readjusting your.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Budget correct Yeah, like cutting certain things out.
- 37:52Speaker 3: So if you readjusted your budget, it maybe would be feasible.
- 37:56Speaker 2: It would be, but it still would be silly because
- 38:00Speaker 2: of other options, like I could save money moving in
- 38:03Speaker 2: to different parts of town and just not living downtown.
- 38:06Speaker 2: I could literally I would save one place. I'd save
- 38:09Speaker 2: a thousand.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Dollars what if your lady just moved in with you?
- 38:11Speaker 2: You know, it's not a horrible thought, it's a great thought.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Well here's the thing that might be a little soon.
- 38:17Speaker 2: It is.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Well, I mean my brother and his girlfriend moved in, well,
- 38:20Speaker 3: his fiance moved in three months into dating really, and
- 38:23Speaker 3: that was due to the hurricane. But I mean, yeah,
- 38:26Speaker 3: they were, I mean they were on the fast track.
- 38:28Speaker 2: See. I think what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna
- 38:30Speaker 2: live solo for a little bit and then I'll evaluate.
- 38:32Speaker 2: I think I'll be able to live solo till December, yeah,
- 38:35Speaker 2: and then evaluate.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Well, I mean think about it. Can you splurge for
- 38:38Speaker 3: six months?
- 38:39Speaker 2: I don't think you could do an apartment for six months?
- 38:41Speaker 2: And if you did, if you do a smaller lease,
- 38:43Speaker 2: because they have a seven month lease in one of
- 38:44Speaker 2: these nice downtown apartments, the rent went up like a
- 38:47Speaker 2: thousand bucks, So it's like, what the fuck.
- 38:49Speaker 3: But that's what I mean is maybe she just moves
- 38:50Speaker 3: in in December and then you're splitting rent.
- 38:53Speaker 2: That's a wild idea.
- 38:55Speaker 3: It is a wild but not far off.
- 38:58Speaker 2: I would say it would be probably better to just
- 39:04Speaker 2: not get to that chapter just yet. Okay, I mean
- 39:06Speaker 2: not for me. I got excited thinking about that. To
- 39:09Speaker 2: be honest, I'm scarm everything works out for me.
- 39:12Speaker 3: I've never been alone in my life.
- 39:13Speaker 2: I can't wait for this moment to happen. I look
- 39:17Speaker 2: forward to it, and like I said, I think it's
- 39:18Speaker 2: happening sooner than later. But I would say I'm a
- 39:21Speaker 2: fan of when I need a chapter alone. Yeah, love
- 39:25Speaker 2: my space, curate my space, and then I look very
- 39:30Speaker 2: much forward to that chapter two. Okay, but there's no rush,
- 39:32Speaker 2: you know, toboutly just get her to town.
- 39:35Speaker 3: I'm not rushing you. I just think you would love
- 39:37Speaker 3: living downtown.
- 39:39Speaker 2: I do too. But maybe that's something I do in December.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Maybe that's the move I make.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Do you want to move again?
- 39:45Speaker 2: I'm so like, I literally made a list of my
- 39:47Speaker 2: phone of all the things I have, and it's like
- 39:49Speaker 2: fifteen things. It's nothing. I have a bed, I have tables,
- 39:52Speaker 2: I have a couch and have a peloton. Okay, that's
- 39:55Speaker 2: it pretty easy, so it'll be fine. It wouldn't be hard.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I would probably need a friend to help me, like
- 40:01Speaker 2: this week, if I wanted to move. Yeah, but if
- 40:04Speaker 2: I moved in December, hopefully i'd be able to just
- 40:06Speaker 2: plan it out where I could actually have movers just
- 40:09Speaker 2: get all my stuff one trip done, boom boom, because
- 40:12Speaker 2: we do partner with movers here, so that would help.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so that would be a huge I wish
- 40:16Speaker 3: I had known that before I moved all the way
- 40:18Speaker 3: down here. Well, now that you're here, do you know
- 40:21Speaker 3: how expensive it was?
- 40:22Speaker 2: I'm sure it was multiple thousands.
- 40:24Speaker 3: And they don't they don't tell you until your stuff
- 40:25Speaker 3: is packed.
- 40:26Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. They don't tell you. Well, that sucks.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Then they have your stuff. At least it came down here.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Do you think you're just gonna ride the wave of
- 40:33Speaker 2: being able to live at your parents for as long
- 40:35Speaker 2: as possible?
- 40:35Speaker 3: If they start coming like all the time, then I'm
- 40:37Speaker 3: gonna have to figure out something else. But I just
- 40:40Speaker 3: keep hoping I'm going to meet somebody so I can
- 40:41Speaker 3: just move in with them.
- 40:42Speaker 2: That be nice. I know.
- 40:43Speaker 3: That's like the dream scenario is getting to live in
- 40:46Speaker 3: the townhouse for at least a year and then I know.
- 40:49Speaker 2: What do you This is such a personal question, but
- 40:52Speaker 2: I'm just curious, Okay, with all that extra income, what
- 40:56Speaker 2: do you put? Like you just saving it? Like, what
- 40:58Speaker 2: do you do with it.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Well, let's I'll be candid. I took a pay cut
- 41:01Speaker 3: when I lost my job, so you know, I'm not
- 41:04Speaker 3: like swimming and all this extra cash because I have
- 41:06Speaker 3: other expensive for like subscriptions that I have or other things.
- 41:10Speaker 3: So I'm not like swimming and all this extra income
- 41:12Speaker 3: if that makes sense, Like, yeah it does. So I'm saving,
- 41:16Speaker 3: but like it's not like I'm like rolling in it,
- 41:19Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm not. Just like.
- 41:23Speaker 3: I will say, every time I see something online that
- 41:25Speaker 3: I want to buy, I go, I'm not paying, which
- 41:29Speaker 3: is out of character for me. Like I'm not like
- 41:31Speaker 3: I rent my clothes specifically because I'm not someone who
- 41:34Speaker 3: online shops a lot. And I'm kind of getting sick
- 41:37Speaker 3: of some of my clothing subscriptions. So I have found
- 41:39Speaker 3: myself going, well, it is really hot here, and I've
- 41:44Speaker 3: gotten to the point where I do need to have
- 41:46Speaker 3: some staples that I'm used to renting, like jeans, Like
- 41:49Speaker 3: I typically rent my jeans, and now I'm like, no,
- 41:50Speaker 3: I'm like sick of waiting for my next Like I
- 41:53Speaker 3: never know what jeans I'm gonna get to wear, Like
- 41:54Speaker 3: I need a couple of pairs that just makes sense
- 41:56Speaker 3: for me, and that's.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Not that expensive. Go out and like get like three
- 42:00Speaker 2: as a.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Gene and get like a good because I want like
- 42:02Speaker 3: quality jeans, like I want I want jeans that I'm
- 42:04Speaker 3: not gonna need to like Rebi next year. I want
- 42:06Speaker 3: to have them for a couple of years. So I
- 42:08Speaker 3: would want to get like a pair of like not
- 42:11Speaker 3: designer jeans, but I would want to splurge a little bit.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm trying to think of how much that I've
- 42:15Speaker 2: never well, I'm trying to think like if I've gotten clothing,
- 42:18Speaker 2: like the most expensive shirts, Like I just got one
- 42:20Speaker 2: at for the Derby that freaking got canceled. Went to
- 42:25Speaker 2: the store and I think that shirt that I bought,
- 42:27Speaker 2: like a just a linen white dress shirt, it was
- 42:30Speaker 2: like one hundred bucks.
- 42:31Speaker 3: I know existing is so expensive, which is wat it's
- 42:35Speaker 3: so expensive.
- 42:36Speaker 2: But I could understand if I always kind of wanted
- 42:38Speaker 2: to have like this one day where like little extra income,
- 42:42Speaker 2: go get the nice clothes that I want and then
- 42:44Speaker 2: it lasts. Yeah, instead of what I do now is
- 42:46Speaker 2: I go to like Target and I get a couple
- 42:48Speaker 2: of the T shirts, Like that's my thing, is I
- 42:50Speaker 2: wear T shirts every day pretty much a black T shirt,
- 42:53Speaker 2: and those are like ten bucks. But I do wear
- 42:55Speaker 2: through those things quick, and so I'm buying multiple instead
- 42:59Speaker 2: of going to a nicer store and being like, all right,
- 43:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna spend a little extra for one that's gonna
- 43:03Speaker 2: last me. I don't know. And then maybe this is
- 43:06Speaker 2: the time if you're not paying rent.
- 43:09Speaker 3: So I'm saying, he who buys cheap buys twice.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Ooh, what'd you read?
- 43:12Speaker 3: It's a bar I don't know. I think Confucius or
- 43:14Speaker 3: something sided. Actually I don't know. I think I saw
- 43:17Speaker 3: it on Pinterest. But no, I will say I have
- 43:20Speaker 3: been I probably have not been saving as much as
- 43:24Speaker 3: I should be saving, just because for a couple of reasons.
- 43:28Speaker 3: I think because I don't handle change well, I do
- 43:31Speaker 3: find myself reaching for quick dopamine hits. Oh yes, Like
- 43:34Speaker 3: my nutrition has been a little bit off. I've found
- 43:36Speaker 3: myself wanting to buy things online because it makes me
- 43:38Speaker 3: feel good, and I've never done that before. It's never
- 43:41Speaker 3: been a coping mechanism for me. I normally just numb myself.
- 43:45Speaker 3: I'm scrolling on TikTok, but I think as I have
- 43:47Speaker 3: the extra income, I go you know, I would really
- 43:50Speaker 3: like a new athletic horset, damn, especially just because my
- 43:53Speaker 3: lifestyle has changed a lot.
- 43:54Speaker 2: That is true, and at least you're using it. It's
- 43:56Speaker 2: not like, yeah, you're getting a cheap hit. And then
- 43:58Speaker 2: it's like, well it doesn't even mean anything, like no,
- 44:00Speaker 2: you can still wear that like every week.
- 44:02Speaker 3: That's it's like it's it's all useful, Like it's all
- 44:04Speaker 3: stuff that I'm wearing for sure. But I mean, yeah, god,
- 44:09Speaker 3: the athletic wears are It's so expensive.
- 44:11Speaker 2: I was on a subscription and you make fun of
- 44:12Speaker 2: me for this for like and this is not paid
- 44:14Speaker 2: but like Fabletics, I love my Fabletics. First off, these
- 44:17Speaker 2: pants look at how good these pants like, they're like khaki.
- 44:21Speaker 2: I love it. But I was paying a subscription every
- 44:23Speaker 2: month because I would get credits. Yeah, and I would
- 44:26Speaker 2: have all this athletic wear. I'm like, all right, there
- 44:27Speaker 2: is a certain point, like how many pairs of workout shorts
- 44:29Speaker 2: do you need?
- 44:30Speaker 3: It's like having a timeshare, but for your clothes.
- 44:32Speaker 2: I'd already gotten into that. That's a whole other situation.
- 44:34Speaker 2: I have to pay for every month. I'm not in
- 44:36Speaker 2: a time share, but I am in like a vacation club.
- 44:38Speaker 3: You did tell me that, and I was like, dude,
- 44:39Speaker 3: what deck it?
- 44:42Speaker 2: It's a stupid thing I did. But if I use it,
- 44:44Speaker 2: it won't be stupid. The problem is I haven't used it.
- 44:46Speaker 3: So where are you gonna travel next?
- 44:48Speaker 2: I want to go to, like Hawaii?
- 44:50Speaker 3: When are you going to go? You just took two
- 44:52Speaker 3: weeks off when you're going to Hawaii?
- 44:54Speaker 2: First off, it was like four days. Second off, it
- 44:57Speaker 2: was five days.
- 44:58Speaker 3: It was five days, and then you would just been
- 45:00Speaker 3: gone five days before that in March.
- 45:02Speaker 2: When was it? Oh yeah, and then you were gone.
- 45:04Speaker 2: You were gonna go to Alaska, I know, And that
- 45:07Speaker 2: one's getting canceled.
- 45:08Speaker 3: When are you gonna tell the Alaska story?
- 45:11Speaker 2: Oh? I don't know. I need to talk to people
- 45:16Speaker 2: off them like before.
- 45:17Speaker 3: I know you're not ready to talk about it.
- 45:19Speaker 2: It is funny, but you know it's and then where
- 45:21Speaker 2: are you.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Going next after Alaska? Or was Alaska the last one?
- 45:24Speaker 2: That was the last one?
- 45:24Speaker 3: Okay?
- 45:25Speaker 2: So that's why I'm thinking, like maybe I just don't
- 45:26Speaker 2: take a trip because I was gonna take a trip
- 45:28Speaker 2: in July to Alaska with a big old group. Right now,
- 45:30Speaker 2: currently in my like life, it's just not the best decision,
- 45:34Speaker 2: even financially, Like especially with this move, I'm about to
- 45:36Speaker 2: pay double for rent no matter what I do. So
- 45:38Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, let's not do that trip. But
- 45:41Speaker 2: because your boy made a dumb decision, got into a
- 45:44Speaker 2: vacation club pays monthly, hasn't used it, so it's just
- 45:48Speaker 2: been burning money. I want to set up a trip
- 45:51Speaker 2: this winter and like when we're already gonna be off
- 45:53Speaker 2: for like the holidays. Yeah, I treat myself a little Aloha,
- 45:58Speaker 2: get a little way volcano. That's what I'm thinking. I
- 46:02Speaker 2: haven't set it up yet, Yeah, but I was looking
- 46:04Speaker 2: like maybe this is going to be the trip in
- 46:06Speaker 2: the winter, go to Hawaii. I don't know, I had
- 46:08Speaker 2: this craving to go to Hawaii. I've never been.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Hawaii even good in the winter.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Of course it's good. It's Hawaii.
- 46:14Speaker 3: I don't think it's good in December.
- 46:15Speaker 2: I think it's always good. It's one of those places
- 46:17Speaker 2: that's like white probably equator. I could be so wrong.
- 46:20Speaker 2: I want to know.
- 46:20Speaker 3: You want to know why. Well, here's the thing. Well,
- 46:24Speaker 3: December is the rainiest month in Hawaii, right, Well, I
- 46:27Speaker 3: won't be going to December what about like Saint Lucia
- 46:29Speaker 3: or something.
- 46:30Speaker 2: I don't even know where Saint Lucia is.
- 46:31Speaker 3: It's in the BBI.
- 46:33Speaker 2: What is that Caribbean?
- 46:35Speaker 3: Ah, cheap, cheaper flight maybe, I mean, oh, breeze, just
- 46:41Speaker 3: got a flight to Saint Lucia from Tampa. What do
- 46:43Speaker 3: you do in Saint Lucia, same thing you do in Hawaii?
- 46:46Speaker 2: Oh do they have volcanoes?
- 46:47Speaker 3: Look up Saint Lucia. It's so beautiful. Then google it
- 46:50Speaker 3: right now, right now, it's so pretty. This is where
- 46:53Speaker 3: I want to go. That's where my brother's going for
- 46:55Speaker 3: his honeymoon.
- 46:56Speaker 2: It can't be that.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Oh it's beautiful.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Oh wow, it is beautiful. Literally have a mountain.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Oh I know. And there's a flight direct from Tampa. Okay,
- 47:05Speaker 3: So my parents are big Hawaii haters because we went
- 47:08Speaker 3: once for spring break and they just didn't like it. It
- 47:11Speaker 3: was rainy the whole time.
- 47:12Speaker 2: We were there in December.
- 47:13Speaker 3: We went in April, it was rainy the whole time
- 47:16Speaker 3: we were there. And what else happened? Alexia And it's
- 47:22Speaker 3: like a fifteen hour flight to get there. It's crazy.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Oh that's okay, okay, And we'll end with this. But
- 47:28Speaker 2: if I'm going to cancel these trips. I also got
- 47:30Speaker 2: this credit card that got like all these points my plan.
- 47:34Speaker 2: You are a marketer's I know that. And it's like
- 47:38Speaker 2: I think before I would have been like, no, I'm not,
- 47:40Speaker 2: I am, but that's ending. That's done. I'm not paying
- 47:43Speaker 2: for crapping.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Maybe you could afford to live downtown if you didn't have.
- 47:46Speaker 2: All this crap. You're not wrong. You're literally not wrong.
- 47:50Speaker 3: I know.
- 47:50Speaker 2: But I was gonna try, like, you know, my one
- 47:53Speaker 2: splurge trip. I was gonna use my credit card points
- 47:55Speaker 2: get like a first class ticket to Hawaii since it's
- 47:58Speaker 2: gonna be a long ass trip, comfortable, have a nice
- 48:00Speaker 2: day that's already covered because of the vacation club. I
- 48:03Speaker 2: pay for everyone. Yeah, and I'm in oh white. See
- 48:07Speaker 2: that's what I'm thinking.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Okay, well, you know it's your life, Scott.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Thank you Downtown or I could just find a way.
- 48:13Speaker 2: How do I want to get rich quick? How do
- 48:15Speaker 2: you do that? Well? No longer anyway, all right, that's it, Abby.
- 48:21Speaker 2: What's your social media? Mine is at Scott Tavlin and
- 48:25Speaker 2: thank you again. I was just looking at I saw
- 48:28Speaker 2: Apple Music and I was like our Apple podcast, huge
- 48:30Speaker 2: shout out to all the reviews. There's one hundreds. We
- 48:34Speaker 2: have five stars on Spotify, like thank you so much,
- 48:37Speaker 2: like and if you are here and this, you're like,
- 48:38Speaker 2: you know what? I want to leave a review? Please? Do?
- 48:41Speaker 2: I mean make it fun. I think we'll start doing
- 48:43Speaker 2: a thing where it's like we just read reviews and
- 48:44Speaker 2: we'll take a sip of Beatbox when we do it
- 48:46Speaker 2: as like a celebratory kind of moment.
- 48:48Speaker 3: Do you have a fun one pulled up right now?
- 48:50Speaker 3: Like a good one?
- 48:50Speaker 2: I didn't have any pulled up, but I can.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Pull up a nice one just so I can end
- 48:55Speaker 3: on it, like my sinuses feel better.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Abby all show has been blowing her No was into
- 49:00Speaker 2: the mic.
- 49:01Speaker 3: It's been better today. I think it's on the colmdown.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Let me see this sounds good because.
- 49:05Speaker 3: I want to have a fun weekend, I hope.
- 49:08Speaker 2: So what are you going to do before the pool party?
- 49:10Speaker 3: So Cold Tub is doing something at Fergs, which I
- 49:13Speaker 3: thought would be kind of fun to go to. Oh
- 49:15Speaker 3: do you want to go to the Cold Tub Club
- 49:17Speaker 3: on Sunday?
- 49:18Speaker 2: On Sunday for the pool party, I think I'm going
- 49:20Speaker 2: to do a slow morning. How do you look at
- 49:26Speaker 2: the reviews?
- 49:27Speaker 3: You just said that you saw a bunch.
- 49:29Speaker 2: I know. I was looking at the number. We have
- 49:30Speaker 2: one hundred and like sixty six reviews on the Apple podcast.
- 49:33Speaker 3: You can click on them and read a nice one.
- 49:35Speaker 2: It's not I don't know how to do that. I'm
- 49:42Speaker 2: going to give you my phone.
- 49:43Speaker 3: No, I don't want to look at them.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Well, you just open it for me.
- 49:46Speaker 3: No, No, you do it, Alexi, You do it for him.
- 49:48Speaker 2: How do you open the reviews? Alexis in the studio
- 49:49Speaker 2: and then we'll get out of here, Alexia, because he
- 49:51Speaker 2: has to do you have to do our show.
- 49:53Speaker 3: You just have to click on them, scroll all the
- 49:54Speaker 3: way down there at the bottom.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Oh there they are. Oh, here we go, Here we go.
- 49:58Speaker 3: Are they nice?
- 50:00Speaker 2: Yes? This is nice?
- 50:01Speaker 3: Read the nice one.
- 50:01Speaker 2: This is two weeks ago. Pe one here if you know,
- 50:04Speaker 2: you know, we do know. Not sure why I was
- 50:06Speaker 2: worried for Abby moving to Tampa because she is one
- 50:09Speaker 2: of the smartest businesswomen. Current Scottie are the perfect match.
- 50:13Speaker 3: That's so nice.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Shout out, that is so nice. Here, let's do another
- 50:16Speaker 2: one great show. I listened to the show in the
- 50:18Speaker 2: mornings through Google speakers since I'm in job. But it's
- 50:21Speaker 2: a great show. Love the unfiltered show. Their chemistry is
- 50:24Speaker 2: great and keeps me entertained.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Thanks to that.
- 50:27Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about.
- 50:29Speaker 3: I will drink a beatbox, shout out beatbox and again. Wait,
- 50:32Speaker 3: let's remind them how they can win Bonnaroo tickets.
- 50:34Speaker 2: So just on the website. Everything should be.
- 50:36Speaker 3: There, mymagic ninety four nine dot com.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Look at you nailed it all right. We'll be back tomorrow.
