- 0:00Speaker 1: Frontal nudity have been in popular movies or shows. Oh,
- 0:03Speaker 1: I'm sure tiny it's a and this is kind of
- 0:08Speaker 1: a dog chart, right, and this show apparently is at
- 0:12Speaker 1: damn near the top of the list at like a
- 0:15Speaker 1: per dong per episode scenario. So there is a lot
- 0:19Speaker 1: of male There is a ton of male frontal nudity
- 0:22Speaker 1: in Dog.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Jackie had it. I told you it's his favorite party.
- 0:26Speaker 1: It's my favorite part of I'm just saying that's a
- 0:28Speaker 1: part of it.
- 0:28Speaker 3: It's very excited.
- 0:30Speaker 4: I mean, this is the second thing you brought up
- 0:32Speaker 4: to me when it comes to this show.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I did not say. I didn't mention that thing.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Jack did you You were ready? You had multiple talking.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I wasn't even I wasn't even going to mention it.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I was just going to tell you about the show.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I wanted you to be proud of me for watching
- 0:47Speaker 1: something way out of my wheelhouse.
- 0:48Speaker 4: I'm twice proud because you watched like a medieval theme show,
- 0:52Speaker 4: first of all. Second of all, you watched a dog
- 0:54Speaker 4: and went interesting.
- 0:56Speaker 5: Somebody just texted us at seven seven zero three one,
- 0:58Speaker 5: holy hell, dude had a radiator hose in his hand.
- 1:03Speaker 4: And you know, so what did the chart, say did
- 1:05Speaker 4: we start getting did the chart start getting aroused?
- 1:08Speaker 6: And the.
- 1:11Speaker 1: No, no, no no. There's a very famous front full frontal
- 1:14Speaker 1: movie out there that did very well. Matter of fact,
- 1:15Speaker 1: I think it won an oscar. Which one is that?
- 1:18Speaker 1: The piano, the Harvey Kaitel full full Frontal, the whole
- 1:23Speaker 1: nine yards. I mean this, remember that that was a big,
- 1:25Speaker 1: big deal. But I mean not a big deal, but
- 1:27Speaker 1: I mean that's an average deal. I don't know.
- 1:30Speaker 4: I do feel oddly like semi passionate. It's semi passionate
- 1:35Speaker 4: because it's a.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Little cold out right, yeah, but I.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Do feel like semi passionate about having more male nudity
- 1:43Speaker 4: in cinema because I'm not sure if you guys even
- 1:46Speaker 4: need me to say this.
- 1:47Speaker 1: It's been a one way streets.
- 1:49Speaker 4: And I also think that, like the aesthetics of male
- 1:52Speaker 4: genitalia can also be comedic. And I think it's the
- 1:56Speaker 4: funniest genitalia.
- 1:58Speaker 5: It does look a little like a baby vulture in
- 2:01Speaker 5: a tree.
- 2:02Speaker 1: It's the funniest of the genitalia. It has to be.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Out of all of the private parts. There's something funny
- 2:09Speaker 4: about Life of Brian. Life of Brian is my first
- 2:14Speaker 4: movie penis, and I'll never forget it when he opens
- 2:17Speaker 4: up the window.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I was pretty young. What you shouldn't be. Yeah, but
- 2:23Speaker 1: it was just we I had. It was a weird family.
- 2:25Speaker 4: We liked comedy movies, and I think that kind of
- 2:27Speaker 4: got everybody off guard, and then it also made us
- 2:30Speaker 4: laugh like it was.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 2:33Speaker 4: I just I'm pro more movie penises. But I have
- 2:36Speaker 4: to tell you, man, you have you begun it yet
- 2:38Speaker 4: I have none.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Buddy. Let me tell you. I think it's right up
- 2:41Speaker 1: your alley. You have to watch it so that we
- 2:43Speaker 1: have something to talk about all the time. And he's
- 2:46Speaker 1: in the dragons.
- 2:48Speaker 5: I told you it was his favorite part, the dragons.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I love it.
- 2:54Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 2:55Speaker 4: No, dude, all it took was some male butt cheeks.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Now you're into some Valerians deal.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I didn't even mention that part of it. I just
- 3:04Speaker 1: wanted to talk. Jack brought that up. I did not
- 3:07Speaker 1: bring that.
- 3:07Speaker 5: I don't remember Jack bringing anything up about this show.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Are you out of your mind? He turned and looked
- 3:12Speaker 1: a rash just a second ago and said he likes
- 3:14Speaker 1: it because it's got dons in it. That's not even close.
- 3:17Speaker 3: I saw the glint in your eye.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Oh man, at this smile on your face when you
- 3:22Speaker 2: were describing this before.
- 3:23Speaker 1: We can hear you laugh talking. I can literally hear
- 3:26Speaker 1: you left talking well.
- 3:27Speaker 4: In your defense, Jim Jack is the one that brought
- 3:30Speaker 4: up the dong chart.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yeah no, that was you.
- 3:35Speaker 4: You're not the one that was prepared with a slideshow
- 3:38Speaker 4: presentation over there.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I guess this guy came. That's what I call a
- 3:43Speaker 1: power point dude.
- 3:48Speaker 4: I never even thought about it, But Microsoft power point
- 3:52Speaker 4: is just one big d joke.
- 3:59Speaker 1: All right, three four team, all right four our seven
- 4:02Speaker 1: nine one six one four one text us at seven

- 4:15Speaker 5: police presence at an Orlando town hall, a man shoots
- 4:19Speaker 5: and kills his neighbor over music in Orange County, and
- 4:23Speaker 5: Americans we are going to eat a whole lot of
- 4:26Speaker 5: chicken wings for the Super Bowl. Down those numbers and more,

- 5:07Speaker 9: Curmudgeon Day and I think he deserves the award. There
- 5:12Speaker 9: is no one else I know that's more of a
- 5:15Speaker 9: curmudgeon than him except me dead. But he's dead.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Oh not that bad? You sure about that? I'm not.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I'm not that bad. My god hert about stuff. But
- 5:25Speaker 1: I'm not a curmudgeon, am I? Oh? That would break
- 5:28Speaker 1: my heart if I was a curmudgeon?
- 5:30Speaker 10: Ah?
- 5:31Speaker 2: Why didn't you ask chat GPT if you're a camradion
- 5:34Speaker 2: on it?
- 5:35Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Jim Forward Show. I've laughed too
- 5:41Speaker 1: much to be a curmudget that's true. Yes, mugs don't laugh.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I'll laugh all the time, just not you.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Jack Ebenezer Scrooge would be a good example that.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right. I'm not I am way happier than
- 5:53Speaker 1: that guy. I'm at least a twentieth time happier than

- 6:05Speaker 1: What's in saying, oh buddy pitcher Jack? No, No, it's
- 6:09Speaker 1: it says.
- 6:10Speaker 4: On the show, Colbert often takes sarcastic, humorous looks at news, entertainment,
- 6:15Speaker 4: and culture.
- 6:16Speaker 1: It's typical talk radio host.
- 6:18Speaker 4: However, it's also can come off as blunt, gruff traits
- 6:23Speaker 4: that might feel curmudgeon.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'll I'll get my team on that. It goes on
- 6:32Speaker 1: to say, Kim Tagers, is that how you say the word?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Shut up?
- 6:38Speaker 11: Jack?
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm Jim Jack and ros are right over there. We
- 6:41Speaker 1: played the gong when he said good takeris well, he
- 6:44Speaker 1: got it right. Here's dead with your news, and apparently
- 6:47Speaker 1: so did Chad JP two. It's time for j.
- 6:50Speaker 11: C S news.
- 6:52Speaker 7: Wow, this guy gotta put his name on everything.
- 6:54Speaker 8: It's in my contracted here's the news on the Jim
- 6:57Speaker 8: Colbert Show.
- 6:58Speaker 5: See that wasn't took. JCS News is brought to you
- 7:02Speaker 5: by that mortgage guy don all right, this isn't the
- 7:05Speaker 5: Florida weather we're used to, right. The National Weather Service
- 7:08Speaker 5: had freeze warnings and cold weather advisories and effect until
- 7:11Speaker 5: nine o'clock this morning across the region. And like people,
- 7:14Speaker 5: most plants in Florida aren't familiar with the cold either.
- 7:19Speaker 12: Exactly water, because that cold air can really drive them out,
- 7:22Speaker 12: just like our skin dries out when it's really cold out.
- 7:25Speaker 12: It's going to suck some moisture from them, and then
- 7:28Speaker 12: the wind on top of that will suck some oistures.
- 7:31Speaker 5: So Flamingo Road Nurseries Liz Stephanie Durant suggests bringing in
- 7:35Speaker 5: more delicate plants like orchids and ones that are lighter
- 7:38Speaker 5: in color or variegated. If you can't bring them in,
- 7:41Speaker 5: you can bunch them together for heat, bring them in
- 7:43Speaker 5: closer to the house, or cover them.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Just remember not with the tarp. That's really for us.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Like Saturday going at night, Jimmy, I know you said
- 7:50Speaker 5: tomorrow night you're gonna start doing the big cover up for.
- 7:52Speaker 1: You because Friday good goes in the twenties as well,
- 7:55Speaker 1: So Friday night going into Saturday, but Saturday night going
- 7:57Speaker 1: into Sunday morning is when it's gonna be the.
- 7:59Speaker 5: Coldest, coldest that we've seen in over a decade.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Now.
- 8:02Speaker 5: The good news is the National Weather Service is predicting
- 8:05Speaker 5: overnight lows and the forties, so it's going to be
- 8:07Speaker 5: a little bit warmer tonight and highs and the low sixties,
- 8:10Speaker 5: maybe even the seventies Tomorrow. Tomorrow is said to be
- 8:14Speaker 5: the best weather day of the week.
- 8:15Speaker 1: All right.
- 8:16Speaker 5: There is a small chance the Tampa area could see
- 8:18Speaker 5: snow flurries this weekend. Crazy pirates, gas Barilla and snow flurries.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Oh my god. Yeah, that's going that's it down this weekend.
- 8:25Speaker 5: That's in town this weeknd Gasparilla. Yeah, absolutely, people are
- 8:29Speaker 5: skiing in. The National Weather Service says that powerful cold
- 8:34Speaker 5: front Saturday night could trigger brief coastal flurries. We could
- 8:37Speaker 5: even see it on the Atlantic side over like in
- 8:40Speaker 5: Brevard and Volusia Counties, or a rain snow mix mainly
- 8:43Speaker 5: near the shoreline. Nothing inland. Forecasters stress confidence is low
- 8:48Speaker 5: and any flakes would melt on contact. There'd be no
- 8:50Speaker 5: accumulation expected. But regardless, dangerously cold air follows on Sunday
- 8:56Speaker 5: with some of the coldest temperatures Once again, our region
- 8:58Speaker 5: has seen in about fifty fifteen years.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Crazy hile a forty five forty six screes that.
- 9:04Speaker 5: Day exactly some places in the teens. What's he doing
- 9:06Speaker 5: over there?
- 9:06Speaker 1: I don't know what he's doing. It's a great day
- 9:08Speaker 1: to go golfing. It's not a great day to go golf.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And we'll talk about that later. And you kiss my ass? Oh, oh,
- 9:14Speaker 1: that's right. I just told him to kiss my ass.
- 9:18Speaker 2: For that reason, he's out.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I just said nothing going on.
- 9:22Speaker 4: I was saying one could assume off of a fresh
- 9:24Speaker 4: kiss my ass.
- 9:30Speaker 1: All right.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Congressman Corey Mills is planning another town hall event today
- 9:34Speaker 5: in central Florida, this after last night's time town hall
- 9:38Speaker 5: has caused outrage over ice enforcements. At least one hundred
- 9:41Speaker 5: guests showed up to the event at the Brandon Center
- 9:44Speaker 5: in Orlando. Police, though there were like three dozen officers,
- 9:47Speaker 5: said they were expecting upwards of three hundred people, but
- 9:50Speaker 5: still one hundred were there. Mills address questions about ice
- 9:53Speaker 5: and safety, prompting applause and some heated exchanges with attendees.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Today's town hall will be held from five to eight
- 10:00Speaker 5: pm at the Ovido on the Park Amphitheater and Cultural Center.
- 10:05Speaker 5: And speaking of ICE real quick, you know, we had
- 10:07Speaker 5: said yesterday that they were planning enforcement at the super
- 10:10Speaker 5: Bowl next week. Well they've done an about face. ICE
- 10:14Speaker 5: is not going to be at the super Bowl next Sunday.
- 10:16Speaker 5: The agency will have a presence in the San Francisco
- 10:19Speaker 5: area next weekend, but have no plans to be at
- 10:22Speaker 5: Levi Stadium on Sunday. ICE will also not enforce an
- 10:26Speaker 5: immigration policy at any NFL sponsored events across the Bay
- 10:30Speaker 5: Area over the next few days. DHS may still have
- 10:33Speaker 5: a presence in and around the game, but not the
- 10:36Speaker 5: same thing as what they were expecting earlier this week.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Yeah, what a wild news story, is a man? New Times?
- 10:44Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, New Times? No, go ahead, say, you know,
- 10:50Speaker 1: apparently some of the media reports have gotten to them.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I mean, it's just such a terrible look, you know,
- 10:56Speaker 1: And you run ICE agents around people going to football game,
- 10:59Speaker 1: it's going to be a terrible look. I mean, there's
- 11:01Speaker 1: so much bad media out there right now. I just
- 11:03Speaker 1: don't know how they get taken a whole lot more,
- 11:05Speaker 1: you know, and the Super Bowl is such a celebrated thing. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:09Speaker 1: well global, it's not just it's a global moment. That's
- 11:11Speaker 1: the last thing they need is something happening like during
- 11:14Speaker 1: one of these global, gigantic sports moments.
- 11:16Speaker 5: And not only that, you know, we had done the
- 11:18Speaker 5: story last night where I had mentioned, you know, being
- 11:21Speaker 5: kind of worried for our boy Ross because there is
- 11:23Speaker 5: growing talk overseas about boycotting the World Cup and the
- 11:27Speaker 5: Winter Olympics.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Yeah. Man, Also yeah, I'm going, yeah, I know, I know.
- 11:34Speaker 2: All right.
- 11:35Speaker 5: Hundreds of thousands of Haitians living in the US may
- 11:38Speaker 5: lose their legal protections next week if the federal government
- 11:41Speaker 5: strips them of their Temporary Protected status as planned. Farah
- 11:45Speaker 5: Larry Hugh says she's among those whose Temporary Protected Status
- 11:49Speaker 5: may be revoked.
- 11:50Speaker 1: And why it's such a concern, I.
- 11:52Speaker 11: Want American to know, to understand that this is a
- 11:56Speaker 11: death sentence.
- 11:57Speaker 10: For some of us and we cannot go back to it.
- 12:00Speaker 5: And this is the other aspect. So yesterday, workers rallied
- 12:03Speaker 5: outside Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport in South Florida to
- 12:06Speaker 5: show their support for those affected, and a union official
- 12:10Speaker 5: says travel could be disrupted if TPS is rescinded because
- 12:13Speaker 5: a number of workers are Haitian nationals. Could be forced
- 12:17Speaker 5: to leave their jobs, resulting in hundreds of unfilled positions.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Homeland Security Secretary Christy Nomes says allowing Haitian nationals to
- 12:26Speaker 5: remain temporarily in the United States is inconsistent with US
- 12:30Speaker 5: national interests. All right. In other news, we've been following
- 12:33Speaker 5: this throughout really the entire state of Florida, but declining
- 12:37Speaker 5: enrollment is having an impact on schools. Now we're going
- 12:40Speaker 5: to talk about Brevard County Superintendent Mark Rendell announced yesterday
- 12:44Speaker 5: plans to reduce staff by seven percent in each department.
- 12:49Speaker 5: He wrote in a letter to employees, nonschool positions will
- 12:52Speaker 5: be eliminated first. He adds classroom teaching positions will only
- 12:56Speaker 5: be eliminated if there.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Aren't enough students to fill a classroom.
- 13:00Speaker 5: The reductions would take effect before the next school year.
- 13:03Speaker 5: The Brevard Federation of Teachers says it will support members
- 13:06Speaker 5: through the process.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Wow, that's cool, I mean, yeah, that is. That's a
- 13:10Speaker 1: lot of staff. That is a whole lot of people
- 13:13Speaker 1: looking for work again.
- 13:14Speaker 5: Crazy all right, speaking of crazy, good segue, Thank you, Jimmy,
- 13:17Speaker 5: and Orange County man is accused of shooting and killing
- 13:19Speaker 5: his neighbor over loud.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Music man, this is I saw the story today. It's
- 13:23Speaker 1: pretty crazy.
- 13:24Speaker 5: It is very crazy.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I am so.
- 13:26Speaker 5: The scene unfolded at an apartment complex near Old Chaney
- 13:29Speaker 5: Highway on January twenty first. Police say thirty two year
- 13:33Speaker 5: old Michael Thrasher confronted his neighbor about the noise. The
- 13:36Speaker 5: two started fighting, and that's when he allegedly pulled out
- 13:39Speaker 5: a gun and shot the man, who's been identified as
- 13:42Speaker 5: thirty eight year old Arnold Rapatallo. He's now charged with
- 13:46Speaker 5: first degree murder and arm burglary for forcing his way
- 13:49Speaker 5: into the other man's apartment.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, because once the guy cracked the door open.
- 13:53Speaker 1: When he knocked the dude forced his way into the
- 13:55Speaker 1: end of the apartment. They got into a fight, and
- 13:57Speaker 1: the guy wound up shooting him in the chest and
- 13:59Speaker 1: killing him right there over and then yeah, first, I mean,
- 14:01Speaker 1: he's that's a life sentence.
- 14:02Speaker 5: It's easy.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Yeah, that's first degree murder. He's a life sentence.
- 14:05Speaker 5: It's a life sentence done, yep, just.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Because heah, you know, here's the thing. He just call
- 14:09Speaker 1: the cops. Man, just call the cops on the guy.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I mean, if you know, that's what you do. Get
- 14:12Speaker 1: a loud guy in your apartment. Just call the cops.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Just keep calling them cops. Eventually the cops are gonna
- 14:16Speaker 1: do something to the dude or the apartment. COMPI Joe
- 14:18Speaker 1: for the rest of your life, all right.
- 14:20Speaker 5: The attorney for a professional boxer Gervanta Tank Davis. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:26Speaker 5: Oh it's Jervonta. I think its all right. Well he
- 14:29Speaker 5: was arrested Tank Davis. Usually I've only heard him as
- 14:32Speaker 5: a tank.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Well.
- 14:33Speaker 5: Well, he was arrested on a domestic violence charge and
- 14:37Speaker 5: is now crying foul. His attorney, Simon Steckel told to
- 14:40Speaker 5: Miami judge his client has lost millions of dollars because
- 14:44Speaker 5: of this case.
- 14:45Speaker 13: He's a multimillionaire, well known national boxer. As a result
- 14:50Speaker 13: of what they did, he had a nationally scheduled fight
- 14:52Speaker 13: back in November. He lost it because of these people.
- 14:55Speaker 13: He lost a payday of twenty to forty million dollars.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Yeah, Davis says ex girlfriend to uses him of attacking
- 15:01Speaker 5: her at a strip club in October where she was working.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Whoa dude, Wow, I felt like I just watched one
- 15:11Speaker 1: battle after another. What a what a plot? He threw
- 15:18Speaker 1: the bands at her too hard.
- 15:21Speaker 5: These judge set bond at eighty five hundred dollars and
- 15:24Speaker 5: issued a stay away order charges including battery, false imprisonment, imprisonment,
- 15:29Speaker 5: and attempted kidnapping.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Can you hit that with me one more time? I
- 15:33Speaker 4: just want to try to go on that journey one
- 15:34Speaker 4: more game.
- 15:35Speaker 5: That Davis's ex girlfriend accuses him of attacking her at
- 15:38Speaker 5: a strip club in October where she was working.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Well, we don't know if she was working as a stripper.
- 15:43Speaker 1: She could have been a server, sure, oh point, while
- 15:46Speaker 1: eating ice cream in a handstand in a different area code,
- 15:50Speaker 1: while changing social Security members. I just kept going, all right.
- 15:55Speaker 5: A new Florida law will require businesses and financial institution
- 16:00Speaker 5: to accept gold and silver coins as legal payment for
- 16:04Speaker 5: everyday transactions. It would be dumb enough with the price
- 16:08Speaker 5: of gold right now to do that.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Don't call it a come back man today. Are you
- 16:12Speaker 1: going back to the eighteen eighties when you bring a
- 16:14Speaker 1: scale out onto the counter and you pay for your
- 16:18Speaker 1: soda with a fleck of gold? That's Aztec right there.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Today, the House Banking Subcommittee ratified rules for the use
- 16:26Speaker 5: of these precious medals for payment, the first state in
- 16:30Speaker 5: the nation to pass such a measure.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I got to buy that.
- 16:32Speaker 11: Sure the Ferdinand from the governor's office to the Senate,
- 16:35Speaker 11: to President to our own speaker.
- 16:37Speaker 14: They wanted to make sure we get this right because
- 16:39Speaker 14: this is newer to people, in fact, even though it's
- 16:42Speaker 14: old money.
- 16:43Speaker 5: Yeah, that was the bill's sponsor, Representative Doug Bankson.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Huh you like that last name Bankson. He's fulfilling his prophecy.
- 16:50Speaker 5: The new law goes into effect July first and allows
- 16:53Speaker 5: gold and silver to be used as an alternative to
- 16:55Speaker 5: the US dollar. The Florida Bankers Association green lighted the bill.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Yeah, well, nobody's gonna do it. Yes, of course, someone's definitely. Yeah,
- 17:05Speaker 1: let me tie up this mule so I can pay
- 17:06Speaker 1: for my burger. Yah, I just come from the mine.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna reach them a little sack and just that's
- 17:15Speaker 1: what they used to do, you know that, right you
- 17:16Speaker 1: go there, you see the scales, they'd go to the bar,
- 17:19Speaker 1: You bring out your little sack of gold bullion. Then
- 17:21Speaker 1: you'd got to weigh out how much it was.
- 17:23Speaker 5: I am not trusting that any store knows what the
- 17:25Speaker 5: current oh yeah cost of gold is, and it's gonna
- 17:28Speaker 5: get me correct change.
- 17:29Speaker 1: There's no way I pay for anything in seven level
- 17:31Speaker 1: with gold. That ain't happening.
- 17:32Speaker 4: They freak out when you show them a two dollars bill.
- 17:36Speaker 4: What happens when you bring literal golden?
- 17:39Speaker 1: All right?
- 17:40Speaker 5: SpaceX is preparing to launch another batch of Starlink satellites
- 17:43Speaker 5: from take Canaveral tonight. The Falcon nine rocket will carry
- 17:47Speaker 5: twenty nine Starlink Internet satellites into low Earth orbit.
- 17:50Speaker 1: The launch is set for.
- 17:51Speaker 5: Eleven oh one PM and it will be streamed live.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Two dollars. I ain't falling for this. That's not real.
- 17:58Speaker 1: That's so funny.
- 18:00Speaker 2: All right.
- 18:00Speaker 5: Youth coaches across the country are burning out and considering quitting.
- 18:04Speaker 5: What ranks as the top reason.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Parents.
- 18:07Speaker 5: There you go, madong parents.
- 18:10Speaker 1: It's just not even closed.
- 18:11Speaker 9: Man.
- 18:13Speaker 1: If you've never experienced, like, you know, a travel club parents,
- 18:17Speaker 1: you just you think that Beverly Hills, those wives of
- 18:21Speaker 1: Beverly Hill people are crazy. You've ever experienced these people,
- 18:25Speaker 1: That's a different breed of humanity.
- 18:26Speaker 5: Well. A new national survey by the US Center for
- 18:30Speaker 5: a Safe Sport pulled nearly thirty five hundred coaches across
- 18:34Speaker 5: sixty six sports. Many coaches say they've experienced verbal abuse
- 18:38Speaker 5: from parents. More than when third reported discrimination based on sex, age,
- 18:43Speaker 5: or physical appearance. Coaches also cited misconduct, including swearing at
- 18:48Speaker 5: or humiliating officials and mistreating athletes. Female coaches reported higher
- 18:54Speaker 5: rates of discrimination, burnout, and abuse than male coaches. But
- 18:58Speaker 5: when you hear stories of like parents running onto the
- 19:01Speaker 5: field and punching coaches, and there was a case like
- 19:03Speaker 5: that just reached itself.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Just say, you just said today there was a fight
- 19:06Speaker 1: like a baseball game where they clearly thirty people got
- 19:08Speaker 1: into a massive broad at a little league baseball game.
- 19:11Speaker 5: Yeah, including kidding the father of the umpire in the
- 19:14Speaker 5: back of the head.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Well, I'm telling you they are missing out man. That
- 19:17Speaker 1: that that travel ball that travel ball culture is a
- 19:21Speaker 1: TV show waiting to happen. It is really it's that
- 19:24Speaker 1: dance moms with baseball bats. That's exactly what it is.
- 19:27Speaker 4: I just think it's yeah, insane that you can be
- 19:31Speaker 4: accused of racist just because this kid has a really
- 19:34Speaker 4: can't catch a racist.
- 19:36Speaker 1: He has a bad first touch, right all right.
- 19:39Speaker 5: Lastly, Americans will devour millions more chicken wings during this
- 19:44Speaker 5: year's Super Bowl compared to last year. We're back and
- 19:46Speaker 5: it's annual chicken wing report the National Chicken Council projects
- 19:50Speaker 5: Americans will eat is just.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Is it pounds?
- 19:55Speaker 5: The Chicken Wing Council no individual chicken wing?
- 19:58Speaker 1: These individual chicken during Super Bowl sixty? How many?
- 20:02Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:02Speaker 1: In total?
- 20:03Speaker 5: How many chicken wings does the National Chicken Council project
- 20:07Speaker 5: Americans will eat ten million?
- 20:09Speaker 1: Those were of the greatest country many We have a
- 20:11Speaker 1: Chicken council, We got the Chicken Council.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I'll go You said ten seams low, I'll go
- 20:18Speaker 4: twenty five mil.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be higher than that, even because I mean,
- 20:21Speaker 1: you figure half the country's gonna watch it forty percent,
- 20:24Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty million.
- 20:26Speaker 2: I'll go.
- 20:28Speaker 1: One hundred million.
- 20:30Speaker 5: How about one point four eight billion chicken wings.
- 20:33Speaker 1: That's a lot of chicken wings.
- 20:35Speaker 2: I'm not sure which one of us was closer.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Don't ask me that's it. It's a million or what
- 20:41Speaker 1: is it?
- 20:41Speaker 5: But that is around ten million more wings, ten million
- 20:44Speaker 5: more than last year.
- 20:45Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 20:46Speaker 4: I can't stop picturing chickens and cloaks around a big
- 20:50Speaker 4: table with yarn against other yarn, really pulling this whole
- 20:55Speaker 4: thing together.
- 20:56Speaker 5: Well, one point for eight billion wings is enough to
- 21:00Speaker 5: stretch twenty seven times between the New England Patriots Jillette
- 21:03Speaker 5: Stadium and Foxboro, Massachusetts to the Seattle Seahawks Lumen Field
- 21:08Speaker 5: in Seattle. Overall, football fans have eaten nearly twenty percent
- 21:13Speaker 5: more wings during this year's NFL playoffs compared to last year.
- 21:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I tell you, man, I like the grilled wings here. Lately,
- 21:20Speaker 1: I've been grilling a lot more and enjoy those more
- 21:22Speaker 1: than the fried wings.
- 21:23Speaker 5: I'll tell you what, if you watch the Super Bowl
- 21:25Speaker 5: at Froggers, do not sleep on their dry rub spice
- 21:28Speaker 5: wings because those are oo. You got that Chapotle garlic, yes,
- 21:33Speaker 5: right off their menu and it was phenomenal. And that
- 21:37Speaker 5: concludes your JCS news.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Give you wait.

- 23:22Speaker 1: So we said we're gonna do some prop bets this
- 23:25Speaker 1: week because we're gonna save our our guesses for next week.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Is that what we're doing?
- 23:30Speaker 3: Yeah, we can do that, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 23:31Speaker 1: And also prop bets are fun, Yeah they are.
- 23:33Speaker 4: And if you wanted to know if you were a degenerate,
- 23:37Speaker 4: just count how many prop bets you got going on
- 23:39Speaker 4: in the super Bowl because some of these get wild.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Ye yeah yeah. And Jack got me a whole list
- 23:44Speaker 1: of once we can do. Now, how many do you
- 23:46Speaker 1: want to do? Jack? I mean what you what do
- 23:47Speaker 1: you think is good here? Like maybe like eight of
- 23:49Speaker 1: these things or something or what?
- 23:50Speaker 5: Ye?
- 23:51Speaker 2: As many as you have interest, because there are more
- 23:54Speaker 2: fun you have prop bets that and the proposition bets
- 23:57Speaker 2: like well sudden hap with specific thing happened in the
- 24:01Speaker 2: game right now. A lot are related to the game,
- 24:03Speaker 2: like it could be, well, a quarterback catch a pass
- 24:06Speaker 2: or something of that nature. But there's also novelty ones,
- 24:10Speaker 2: whether it's the color of the gatorade, the coin flip,
- 24:13Speaker 2: the length of the anthem. Here's one that what the
- 24:18Speaker 2: game is taking a place in. Sarah Clara in the
- 24:21Speaker 2: San Francisco Bay area. So they say what icon will
- 24:24Speaker 2: be shown first? Will it be the Golden Gate Bridge
- 24:27Speaker 2: or Alcatraz isowads oo?
- 24:30Speaker 1: Man, Oh, I'm going to go with the bridge. Well,
- 24:32Speaker 1: it's almost hard to get one in the shop without
- 24:33Speaker 1: the other because they're right there. It's got to be
- 24:36Speaker 1: the bridge, right. I think it would be the bridge.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I think that is the most recognizable San Francisco monument
- 24:42Speaker 1: there is.
- 24:43Speaker 2: So in that case, we wouldn't bet it because we all.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Agree, right right, right, Yeah, But I would say, okay, So,
- 24:49Speaker 1: but you can go some of the game, the game's
- 24:51Speaker 1: up team to score for something simple like that. You
- 24:54Speaker 1: could do total turnovers in the game like the list
- 24:57Speaker 1: has here. You can do that as well, first play
- 25:00Speaker 1: to score a touchdown, things of that nature. Novelty ones though, Yeah,
- 25:03Speaker 1: like you're saying the leath of the national anthem?
- 25:05Speaker 2: Yeah? Will an unauthorized person enter the field of play? Oh? Man?
- 25:13Speaker 1: I've always thought that was such a crazy prop bet,
- 25:16Speaker 1: because what makes you not just cash out your life
- 25:19Speaker 1: savings and then be the street? But didn't we have
- 25:23Speaker 1: that with that Golden Casino guy that did that before
- 25:26Speaker 1: it ran onto the field and then they were like, hey,
- 25:28Speaker 1: you're the guy. And he had like that jersey it
- 25:30Speaker 1: said Golden Casino or Golden Bets or something like that,
- 25:33Speaker 1: and that was the entire thing. He's like, I think
- 25:35Speaker 1: he put a bet on him getting on the field
- 25:37Speaker 1: or something like that. It feels like a loophole. All right,
- 25:40Speaker 1: let's go, let's first song perform during halftime. So it's
- 25:47Speaker 1: a bad bunny show. I mean, I don't really know
- 25:49Speaker 1: any of his songs.
- 25:50Speaker 11: That would be.
- 25:51Speaker 1: It's the song that goes that's the one. Okay.
- 25:55Speaker 2: I think thats gotta be the opener. I think he's
- 25:57Speaker 2: describing living Levita loco Oka, the completely different guy.
- 26:01Speaker 1: There's a whistle part. I just do this one real quick.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Will there be a missed extra point in this game?
- 26:10Speaker 5: Year?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Weather's gonna be pretty good. You're not gonna have to
- 26:12Speaker 1: worry about any inclement whether I don't believe.
- 26:14Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 26:15Speaker 1: No, Yes, yeah, I don't think. I don't think so either.
- 26:19Speaker 4: I think an extra point does get missed. I don't
- 26:21Speaker 4: think we've had an extra point gets missed in.
- 26:23Speaker 1: The Super Bowl. Little nerves on.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Now.
- 26:26Speaker 4: The extra points these days are a little bit further,
- 26:29Speaker 4: all right, So I'll take it.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Ross has the miss pat we do not.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Okay, let's go first interception. What team will throw the
- 26:38Speaker 1: first interception? Seahawks? You think the Seahawks will throw the
- 26:42Speaker 1: first interception?
- 26:43Speaker 5: Yeah, deb I'm gonna go Patriots.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Uh, Drake may or Yah, I'll go Seahawks.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I will go Patriots as well.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Look at that, all right?
- 26:55Speaker 1: Two against two? Well, that one's too hard man. Who
- 26:59Speaker 1: will be the super MVP? Who knows it could be
- 27:01Speaker 1: a dB with an interception for a touchdown?
- 27:03Speaker 3: Who knows Ross has a thought on that?
- 27:05Speaker 1: All right, go ahead, Drake may will be the Super
- 27:08Speaker 1: Bowl MVP.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Willing because you're picking New England to win, I think they're.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Going to win. Wow, Really, dude, I know that there
- 27:17Speaker 1: are the underdogs pits the Patriots. It's Mike Vrabel and yeah,
- 27:21Speaker 1: like it's also you're splitting hairs. I'm not going to
- 27:24Speaker 1: be shocked at the Seahawks win. It's one of those
- 27:26Speaker 1: for me. But I just think there's a reason why
- 27:29Speaker 1: the Patriots are the Patriots and I hate them.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Yeah, life sucks, so I expect the thing that makes
- 27:35Speaker 4: me the most upset.
- 27:36Speaker 1: All right, first team to call a time out Seahawks.
- 27:40Speaker 1: That's kind of wild because I mean that really depends
- 27:42Speaker 1: on who gets the ball first.
- 27:43Speaker 2: At the beginning of the game, right, well, because you
- 27:46Speaker 2: wouldn't expect a time out then.
- 27:47Speaker 1: So no, no, I'm just saying the possession thing. I mean,
- 27:50Speaker 1: I mean, really, who has the ball at the end
- 27:53Speaker 1: of the first half, right, That's what I'm saying. It
- 27:54Speaker 1: will boy, actually come down to the coin toss. Yeah,
- 27:57Speaker 1: it's it's a coin flip things, all right, we won't
- 28:01Speaker 1: do that one.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Then that's lame.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Uh. Do we do the team to scores first?
- 28:06Speaker 2: I like that.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, let's do the team to score first. Patriots? Man,
- 28:11Speaker 1: you are loving these Patriots. I mean I think it's
- 28:14Speaker 1: still gonna be a close. Who's got the best kicker?
- 28:18Speaker 1: God couldn't tell you. Yeah, yeah, me either.
- 28:21Speaker 2: I will go.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Uh, I'm gonna go to the Seahawks. They score fastwks.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I have Patriots.
- 28:29Speaker 1: The Super Bowl. Yeah.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Didn't we get close to making this next Monday on
- 28:35Speaker 4: National Holiday?
- 28:37Speaker 1: Really close?
- 28:38Speaker 2: It should be.
- 28:38Speaker 4: We're one politician away from getting tipsy from making this
- 28:42Speaker 4: thing happen.
- 28:43Speaker 1: We should do that. I mean, look, it should just happen.
- 28:46Speaker 5: We certainly get the Monday after Super Bowl.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Perfectly good sense.
- 28:52Speaker 2: How about which song will be sung first by the crowd?
- 28:55Speaker 2: Sweet Caroline or Country Roads?
- 28:58Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, Uh to be Sweet Caroline. Yeah, I'll
- 29:02Speaker 1: go Sweet Caroline. Is there a reason why those two
- 29:05Speaker 1: are chosen?
- 29:05Speaker 3: That's a new England thing.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Oh I see?
- 29:07Speaker 2: Oh okay, the Sweet Caroline. At least have Red Sox games.
- 29:11Speaker 2: It's the same four to the Patriots.
- 29:12Speaker 1: It's gotta be Sweet Caroline, just because of everyone loves
- 29:16Speaker 1: the bump.
- 29:17Speaker 2: People love the Bob Papa.
- 29:18Speaker 1: All right, the Bob Papa. Yeh bomb, I'll get that
- 29:22Speaker 1: Sweet Caroline. One will a defense? Are special teams touchdown
- 29:26Speaker 1: be scored?
- 29:29Speaker 10: No?
- 29:30Speaker 1: I don't think so either. I don't think there's gonna
- 29:33Speaker 1: be any pick sixes or any fumble returns or anything
- 29:36Speaker 1: like that.
- 29:36Speaker 2: I always hope for safety because it totally Everyone thought
- 29:40Speaker 2: they had bad numbers.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Oh my god, great numbers, dude, advice versa.
- 29:44Speaker 1: My twenty dollars boxes are fine, but my ten dollar
- 29:46Speaker 1: boxes are terrible. I got eight and two.
- 29:49Speaker 4: Well, now, who's wanting to miss pat Yeah right right, yeah,
- 29:54Speaker 4: all right, so we'll.

- 32:27Speaker 10: Look cute. Bundle up, we're going to be complaining soon
- 32:30Speaker 10: enough about the summer heats.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good point.
- 32:32Speaker 10: Yeah, why do you pretend you're in the locks of
- 32:39Speaker 10: Scotland now?
- 32:40Speaker 1: The high on Sunday is forty five forty five degrees try,
- 32:45Speaker 1: and that's that's two o'clock in the afternoon. That's at
- 32:48Speaker 1: the epicenter of the heat.
- 32:51Speaker 10: You know, right now is when I'm so glad that
- 32:54Speaker 10: I worked my way up from being frontlines at the
- 32:57Speaker 10: theme parks. Oh man, I'm not dealing with that anymore.
- 33:01Speaker 10: So shout out to our our theme park and outdoor
- 33:04Speaker 10: workers are going to be dealing there that on the weekend. Yes,
- 33:07Speaker 10: but also bundle up in golf maybe, you know you
- 33:10Speaker 10: might do have any form in any fashionable golf where.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I will be fine when it comes to warmth, I'll
- 33:17Speaker 1: be okay. I just annoyed, which is what he will
- 33:20Speaker 1: use to keep him warm.
- 33:26Speaker 11: Hate.
- 33:29Speaker 10: Well, the good news is one of the things that
- 33:31Speaker 10: is in town right now is kind of perfect for
- 33:34Speaker 10: this weather. It's indoors and the storyline takes place in England.
- 33:38Speaker 10: So Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, is that doctor
- 33:41Speaker 10: Phillips right now and got a chance to see it
- 33:44Speaker 10: on Tuesday. So I read the screenplay. You know, it's
- 33:46Speaker 10: not a book, It didn't exist as a book, but
- 33:50Speaker 10: they did publish the screenplay a couple of years ago,
- 33:52Speaker 10: so you can kind of read it like a book.
- 33:55Speaker 10: And it used to be two separate plays and now
- 33:58Speaker 10: it's all condensed into one. And boy, do you get
- 34:01Speaker 10: taken for a ride. It's it's just bam bam, bam,
- 34:04Speaker 10: bam bam. The effects are amazing.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so.
- 34:07Speaker 10: It's here until February fifteenth, and I'm just I was
- 34:11Speaker 10: blown away that the biggest part of it is just
- 34:14Speaker 10: the effects and the cast was absolutely awesome.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Okay, cool, Yeah, they were giving out some tickets to
- 34:19Speaker 1: that yesterday here at the radio station.
- 34:20Speaker 10: Oh yeah, yeah. So I highly recommend it. It does
- 34:24Speaker 10: maybe help if you are a Harry Potter fan, because
- 34:26Speaker 10: otherwise you might be all smage confused.
- 34:28Speaker 5: He doesn't know what how season telling me. He's Slytherin
- 34:31Speaker 5: so many times.
- 34:33Speaker 1: I don't know. I see, I see, I know, you're
- 34:36Speaker 1: looking at every weird.
- 34:38Speaker 10: There's a reason Gryffindor and Slytherin are near. Yeah, there
- 34:44Speaker 10: are moments.
- 34:46Speaker 13: I see that.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Okay, I have Gryffindor moments. I think, so am I
- 34:50Speaker 1: grounded in Slytherin with Gryffindor moments.
- 34:52Speaker 10: Yeah, you're with Gryffindor.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Glimmers.
- 34:55Speaker 3: We've learned a lot about Jim today, and he might
- 34:58Speaker 3: be a Hufflepuff.
- 35:01Speaker 10: Not to derail the whole segment, but I tested Hufflepuff
- 35:05Speaker 10: on the original test and then miss Lady ma'am decided
- 35:08Speaker 10: to release it all over again to sell more stuff,
- 35:10Speaker 10: I think, And the second time I took it, I
- 35:12Speaker 10: was raven Claw. So I say that I'm a raven Puff.
- 35:16Speaker 1: I see terminally ill Hagrid yea.
- 35:24Speaker 10: The headphones are off, all right, that's okay, the shows
- 35:27Speaker 10: off the rails golf now now there's some Professor Snape
- 35:38Speaker 10: showing up.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, lots of all right, I'm going to
- 35:42Speaker 1: bring it back. So happening on? Are we playing dungeons
- 35:46Speaker 1: and dragons? That's kind of what it feels like, I'll
- 35:50Speaker 1: be are you okay?
- 35:53Speaker 2: Okay, that's right. The show's going on.
- 35:56Speaker 1: How my stomach feels, my hair?
- 35:59Speaker 10: Apparently he's a little too soft insid very good? Okay,
- 36:03Speaker 10: all right, happening Saturday, twelve pm to four pm is
- 36:06Speaker 10: the Faded Kingdom Beer Festival at good Old Tactical Brewing.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Nice.
- 36:11Speaker 10: They're doing yet another big old block party. This one
- 36:14Speaker 10: is fifty five dollars general ad mission, and that is
- 36:17Speaker 10: essentially just you know, drink an unlimited beer sample of
- 36:21Speaker 10: seventy different brewers.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Damn really that's a lot. So that is a lot
- 36:25Speaker 1: that don't keep you warm walking from.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Tent to tent.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Do you think there's anybody's going for the full seventy
- 36:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, there.
- 36:32Speaker 4: Has to be right, Oh yeah, there are people who
- 36:34Speaker 4: do that. It's like twelve sixteen ounce pores.
- 36:36Speaker 1: No, no, no, but still, I mean seventy times one
- 36:39Speaker 1: ounce is still a lot. I mean that's gonna get
- 36:42Speaker 1: you there for sure.
- 36:43Speaker 4: You also have like every liquid type of liquid in
- 36:46Speaker 4: you at that moment. You have like Hawaiian beer, you
- 36:48Speaker 4: have mead, cider, socky, No, how many that would be.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Like a six pack of beer, wouldn't it? Like twelve ounces?
- 36:55Speaker 15: Yeah?
- 36:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you can do it easy, someone do that.
- 37:01Speaker 10: Yeah. Email And on top of all of that, there
- 37:07Speaker 10: will be live armored combat. So they do this is
- 37:11Speaker 10: the traditional thing that they do during the Faded Kingdom
- 37:14Speaker 10: Beer Festivals.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Cool.
- 37:16Speaker 10: It's a it's definitely a good time, so definitely on
- 37:19Speaker 10: the top list. There Also Saturday, seven pm to nine
- 37:22Speaker 10: pm at a different brewery at Deviant Wolf is Stargazing Night, right,
- 37:27Speaker 10: So this is where the folks at the Seminole State
- 37:30Speaker 10: College Planetarium and the gang that does like the telescopes there,
- 37:35Speaker 10: they're going to head out to Deviant Wolf. They're going
- 37:37Speaker 10: to do stargazing space themed drinks and talks and there's
- 37:42Speaker 10: a sci fi art show happening there.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:47Speaker 10: That is Saturday seven pm to nine pm.
- 37:51Speaker 4: And those are the kind of events that you get
- 37:54Speaker 4: to go out still stress free and have a blast.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Ye.
- 37:57Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 37:58Speaker 4: It's not something that's like super asking of you. It's
- 38:02Speaker 4: just asking you to look through a telescope and look
- 38:04Speaker 4: at stars. And what's great is is once you look
- 38:06Speaker 4: through there, your eye will freeze open and you will
- 38:08Speaker 4: be able to look for a longer period of time.
- 38:10Speaker 1: You become mad I Merlin, Yeah, j Jim knows. I
- 38:14Speaker 1: don't have any mad Ie Moody there.
- 38:19Speaker 2: I got sound right.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Tried to dunk and then I got dunked.
- 38:25Speaker 10: Harry Potter, Star Wars, Marvel, Disney yeah, it's a thing,
- 38:31Speaker 10: all right. Uh. Sunday one pm to six pm is
- 38:34Speaker 10: kitty Fest kitty as in k I T T y.
- 38:38Speaker 10: This is happening at Toughies there in Sandford and this
- 38:42Speaker 10: is for all the cat lovers. So Jim, I'm sorry,
- 38:44Speaker 10: you'll be golfing and that will do this apparently.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Yeah, kitty Fest sounds so much worse though. That sounds terrible.
- 38:54Speaker 1: That sounds like something that had cost a million dollars
- 38:56Speaker 1: to go to.
- 39:00Speaker 10: Well to Sorry to disappoint, but this will include local
- 39:05Speaker 10: cat rescues, including the Liberation Cat House. That sounds intense
- 39:10Speaker 10: and meyoke now we nope, me yaoke.
- 39:16Speaker 1: It's karaoke. But what the word? Meow?
- 39:19Speaker 5: Danny got her first buzzer.
- 39:23Speaker 1: I don't want another story.
- 39:24Speaker 2: I just want you to keep it.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Keep attempting that word for the rest of your parents
- 39:28Speaker 1: for three more minutes. That's all I want you to do.
- 39:31Speaker 10: Let me stretch me aoki meow. See the A is
- 39:37Speaker 10: throwing me off.
- 39:38Speaker 1: There's an A in it.
- 39:39Speaker 10: For some reason, I want karaoke, meaoke.
- 39:49Speaker 1: I'm more interested in this cat revolution. Liberation Cat House.
- 39:54Speaker 1: What is this?
- 39:56Speaker 10: That's the name of the cat rescue organization is Liberation
- 40:00Speaker 10: Cat House. I didn't look them up too much, but
- 40:03Speaker 10: I do right now. The other thing that got me
- 40:06Speaker 10: chuckling is the kitty hissing.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Booth photo op.
- 40:09Speaker 10: So instead of a kissing booth, it's a hissing.
- 40:12Speaker 5: Booth because cats, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 40:16Speaker 10: And and a cat costume party of humans only.
- 40:22Speaker 5: What yeah, because no one's going to attempt to put
- 40:24Speaker 5: a costume on their cat.
- 40:26Speaker 1: To eat this straight, they want you to voluntarily go
- 40:28Speaker 1: to an area where a cat gets angry at you,
- 40:31Speaker 1: Like that's the goal. Yeah, I care some people are
- 40:34Speaker 1: into that.
- 40:36Speaker 4: If some people like love getting tickled, I think some
- 40:39Speaker 4: people want to get pissed off by a cat.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Yeah, they're off, buy a cat off.
- 40:43Speaker 10: Everybody's got there something all right, real quick, We're going
- 40:50Speaker 10: to do just a quick little Valentine's Day preview because
- 40:54Speaker 10: we are two weeks in counting people. This is our
- 40:57Speaker 10: super Bowl at Orlando Date Night Guide. So one of
- 41:00Speaker 10: the things that is happening on Friday, So you've got Friday,
- 41:03Speaker 10: the thirteenth happening right before Saturday. Valentine's Day. Harbor Nights
- 41:08Speaker 10: at Loewe's Hotel Port Afino Bay. They do the Harbor
- 41:12Speaker 10: Knights once every I don't know a couple of months,
- 41:15Speaker 10: but for this to happen during Valentine's Day is pretty awesome.
- 41:19Speaker 10: Unlimited wine, unlimited eats. It's there on the gorgeous piazza
- 41:23Speaker 10: there at Portafino Bay. Yeah, beautiful, live opera singers.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely beautiful.
- 41:27Speaker 10: If you missed out on like a Valentine's Day dinner
- 41:31Speaker 10: reservation at a spot you wanted to go to and
- 41:33Speaker 10: you're not sure what to do, this is definitely a
- 41:36Speaker 10: great option.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Yeah. That really romantic too. That's a beautiful area there, man,
- 41:39Speaker 1: it really is cool. We stayed there and would take
- 41:42Speaker 1: the boat back and forth all throughout the park and
- 41:43Speaker 1: then come back and it was just so cool to
- 41:45Speaker 1: come under that bridge and come up there and just
- 41:47Speaker 1: kind of unload and everybody's kind of out there having
- 41:49Speaker 1: coffees and all the gets a running around. It's kind
- 41:52Speaker 1: of cool, man.
- 41:52Speaker 10: Yes, And then if that's not really your vibe, if
- 41:55Speaker 10: you're looking for something maybe a little bit more, I
- 41:58Speaker 10: don't know, maybe energetic. At Ice Bar, they have Love
- 42:02Speaker 10: and Lace Valentine's Day packages and that's the thirteenth, fourteenth
- 42:06Speaker 10: or fifteenth, But on the fifteenth, they are doing a
- 42:09Speaker 10: mixology class, so you're gonna get like the Valentine's Day
- 42:13Speaker 10: vibes plus mixology.
- 42:15Speaker 1: I know that's a new thing right now. That's a
- 42:16Speaker 1: big thing with you know, the couples. It used to
- 42:19Speaker 1: be the painting thing, and then it was the cooking classes,
- 42:21Speaker 1: and now the mixology thing has become very popular.
- 42:23Speaker 10: That's true. That's a good point. And if I may
- 42:25Speaker 10: plug at Orlando Date Night Guides Instagram, we do have
- 42:28Speaker 10: a giveaway for that going on right now, so go
- 42:31Speaker 10: to our instagram and maybe you'll get to do the mixology.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Very cool.
- 42:36Speaker 10: Lastly, on Wednesday, February eleventh, if you need to schedule
- 42:40Speaker 10: something ahead of time, Valentine's Day Movie Night at Lamp
- 42:45Speaker 10: and Shade Craft Kitchen and cocktails. So they're going to
- 42:48Speaker 10: be showing Valentine's Day the movie at six thirty and
- 42:51Speaker 10: fifty first dates at eight thirty, which is one of
- 42:54Speaker 10: my favorite movies. So they're going to have Valentine's Day
- 42:58Speaker 10: themed cocktails and a special menu and there's no like,
- 43:02Speaker 10: it's not a ticketed thing, so you can just have
- 43:05Speaker 10: a normal dinner and they'll be showing this movie.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Very cool man, Yeah, I have some good choices, a
- 43:10Speaker 1: little some stuff that's out there this week.
- 43:11Speaker 17: Yeah.

- 44:49Speaker 6: Sh good afternoon, Covert and Cobanycarcreek. Mike Sudden was getting
- 44:58Speaker 6: out of work. It's a little after three o'clock. I
- 45:00Speaker 6: have to be back on site at two point thirty
- 45:02Speaker 6: in the morning to prepare to pour twenty trucks of
- 45:05Speaker 6: concrete on a lower floor of a parking garage. Is
- 45:09Speaker 6: it the same job they drove that side by side
- 45:11Speaker 6: off of the fourth floor. So I'm hoping I find
- 45:14Speaker 6: these kids on site. When I'd show up in the
- 45:17Speaker 6: middle of the night, I got rat shot loaded in.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Oh, easy buddy, cheeks, Easy buddy, easybuddy, it's you gotta
- 45:29Speaker 1: do that with rock salt.
- 45:30Speaker 2: That's what you do.
- 45:32Speaker 1: And those old farmers up there that I lived to
- 45:34Speaker 1: West Virginia for a short period of time, and there
- 45:36Speaker 1: were some cornfields and some cowfields now near where we live,
- 45:41Speaker 1: and we me and this buddy of mine used to
- 45:43Speaker 1: like to go and taunt this cow and this bowl
- 45:46Speaker 1: and get him to run at us and stuff, right,
- 45:48Speaker 1: And this old farmer we're out there one day he
- 45:51Speaker 1: was out on his horse. We didn't know because it
- 45:52Speaker 1: was just over the hill and we're out there just
- 45:54Speaker 1: blaking with this cow and getting this cow pissed off.
- 45:56Speaker 1: This farmer came riding over and we saw his gun there,
- 46:00Speaker 1: and uh, we kind of froze solid because it would
- 46:03Speaker 1: have been worse had I had my dad found out
- 46:05Speaker 1: that I was doing that. So we just kind of
- 46:07Speaker 1: froze solid. To find out, We're like, we didn't do anything,
- 46:09Speaker 1: so he can't do anything to us. To see what
- 46:11Speaker 1: he says and he kind of comes over and he goes, boy,
- 46:13Speaker 1: I got I got a I got a show full
- 46:16Speaker 1: of rock salt waiting on you, blah blah blah. And
- 46:18Speaker 1: the whole nine is what he does is he takes
- 46:19Speaker 1: bird shot and he opens up the front of the
- 46:21Speaker 1: shell and he fills that shell up with rock salt,
- 46:24Speaker 1: and then he shoots it at you as if it
- 46:26Speaker 1: was a you know, like a round. And that's the
- 46:28Speaker 1: whole idea. He ableted to shoot you and I kill
- 46:30Speaker 1: you and wear your ass out, and apparently that's a thing.
- 46:34Speaker 1: All right, Welcome back to the Jim Colbert Show. We're
- 46:36Speaker 1: all ready to one to four point one bank bank
- 46:40Speaker 1: all of that bankisher four o'clock. You word, go to
- 46:44Speaker 1: real radio dot FM and send that away for your
- 46:46Speaker 1: chance in a thousand bucks. I'm Jim, deb and Jack
- 46:48Speaker 1: and Ross all here today.
- 46:49Speaker 2: After thirty three years.
- 46:50Speaker 3: That might be a new story.
- 46:51Speaker 1: That is a new story. I've never told that one
- 46:53Speaker 1: that one hundred percent true. My buddy Charlie and I
- 46:55Speaker 1: used to go and f with this this bowl. We
- 46:57Speaker 1: were like four fifth grade. How old are you?
- 47:00Speaker 5: Prime idiot age?
- 47:01Speaker 1: Yeah, prime idiot age, right, And we would go over
- 47:04Speaker 1: and this guy had one bull or this one bull
- 47:06Speaker 1: would always be on this one side of the field,
- 47:08Speaker 1: and he had the horns and everything, and you know
- 47:10Speaker 1: when we used to pick on him, he was trying
- 47:11Speaker 1: to get him a run over to us and stuff.
- 47:13Speaker 1: And apparently he was out there and heard it one
- 47:16Speaker 1: day and came over and he goes, man, I will
- 47:17Speaker 1: shoot you full of rocks if you keep doing that,
- 47:19Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah blah. And I didn't know anything
- 47:21Speaker 1: about it, and I actually mentioned it to my dad
- 47:23Speaker 1: later down the road and he goes, yeah, that that's
- 47:25Speaker 1: a common thing that farmers would fill up, you know,
- 47:28Speaker 1: bird shot shells with rock salt to be able to
- 47:30Speaker 1: shoot whatever's on there, you know, messing with their crops. Yeah. Yeah,
- 47:34Speaker 1: the little ten year old roaches running a Hey, I
- 47:37Speaker 1: saw something on Reddit today. I wanted to ask you guys,
- 47:40Speaker 1: and I just want to get your and by the way,
- 47:41Speaker 1: people get text in on this, I always like to
- 47:43Speaker 1: give the audience something the text about if they want to.
- 47:46Speaker 1: And it was kind of a simple question and kind
- 47:48Speaker 1: of like almost some evergreen kind of a thing. Jack,
- 47:53Speaker 1: But what's what's something that you swear that you've seen?
- 47:57Speaker 1: But you can't prove it. Something you swear that you've seen,
- 48:02Speaker 1: but you can't prove it, And I mean, mine's easy.
- 48:06Speaker 1: I literally did see a running apparition at my property.
- 48:11Speaker 1: I've told that story a billion times, but there's zero
- 48:13Speaker 1: question I saw that happen. I mean there is no
- 48:17Speaker 1: question that was not me.
- 48:18Speaker 5: That was the lake house right where it ran from
- 48:20Speaker 5: one side of the pool to the other.
- 48:21Speaker 1: No question it was the bull.
- 48:23Speaker 13: It was that.
- 48:25Speaker 2: I'll get him.
- 48:27Speaker 1: But uh, anyway, I mean, you don't have to answer
- 48:28Speaker 1: now or whatever, But I was just saying, if the
- 48:30Speaker 1: audience has that, because you know, Russ swears he saw
- 48:33Speaker 1: UFO right over his house, and that's the story he's
- 48:35Speaker 1: told since I've known him, when I was eighteen years old.
- 48:38Speaker 1: So I mean, he tells that story and it's the
- 48:40Speaker 1: same exact way every single time. I believe every word
- 48:43Speaker 1: of it.
- 48:44Speaker 4: Now, I'm not trying to be disrespectful, But wasn't there
- 48:50Speaker 4: a whole like generation of like UFO and being like, yo,
- 48:54Speaker 4: this thing's real and they all said the same thing
- 48:56Speaker 4: and then ended up being the stealth bomber.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that was out west though, But Russ saw this
- 49:01Speaker 1: right up the street. I mean, he lived right up
- 49:03Speaker 1: the street when he was growing up. Literally, I'm not kidding, dude,
- 49:05Speaker 1: from I mean just a couple of miles from here.
- 49:07Speaker 4: And I'm not saying necessarily that's what happened to Russ.
- 49:09Speaker 4: But I didn't just make that up, right, No, no, No,
- 49:11Speaker 4: it's like a thing we.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Just talked about that. Yeah. Absolutely, For years, most of
- 49:15Speaker 1: the UFO saw any signings were, you know, military operations,
- 49:19Speaker 1: but we just didn't know because the military's on tellings
- 49:21Speaker 1: telling us about their super secret operations and just happening
- 49:24Speaker 1: right now.
- 49:25Speaker 4: I'm sure there was one thing that I set it
- 49:27Speaker 4: on air and then I read the room and I
- 49:29Speaker 4: was like, man, no one believes me. And then it
- 49:31Speaker 4: made me go like maybe I didn't see it, but
- 49:34Speaker 4: I swear I was driving home from a gig late
- 49:37Speaker 4: at night, and I swear to.
- 49:38Speaker 1: God, dude, I saw a human foot on the side
- 49:41Speaker 1: of the road. I was going way too fast, so
- 49:44Speaker 1: I was like that a human WHOA. Now I brought
- 49:46Speaker 1: it up to you guys, and everyone was like, you
- 49:48Speaker 1: is it a human foot? You could have seen a
- 49:50Speaker 1: human hood, human foot, You could have seen a human foot.
- 49:54Speaker 4: Yeah, well this you guys have different tones because at
- 49:59Speaker 4: the first ti I brought this up, I was like,
- 50:01Speaker 4: I'm crazy.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no, no, I guess you maybe he was tripping. Yeah, yeah,
- 50:08Speaker 1: there I someone was here for this.
- 50:11Speaker 4: But people every time I tell people this, they go
- 50:14Speaker 4: like they don't believe me, or they don't believe the accuracy.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Uh, well, with your former state of mind and how
- 50:21Speaker 1: you rolled, that make it hard for people to buy. Yeah.
- 50:23Speaker 4: So I was with a friend and we were walking
- 50:25Speaker 4: out to a car and he was gassy and he
- 50:28Speaker 4: let it rip. But it was word for word t pains,
- 50:33Speaker 4: I'm gonna buy you a drink?
- 50:36Speaker 1: Jack, Can you please pull that up? Like it was
- 50:40Speaker 1: he farted that.
- 50:41Speaker 4: He farted the cadence the chorus of I'm Gonna buy
- 50:45Speaker 4: you a drink to the point where we both stopped walking,
- 50:52Speaker 4: looked at each other and went, oh, which is the
- 50:57Speaker 4: next lyric of that song.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's up. He let it go. You gotta
- 51:04Speaker 1: get to that chorus. Oh yeah, yeah, I'm Jepane, you
- 51:08Speaker 1: know me.
- 51:09Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a timeless class but to hear it made
- 51:15Speaker 4: via body was just something special, and I feel.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Like no one believes me. Well yeah, well, I mean
- 51:26Speaker 1: there's a video going around. You have a guy doing
- 51:28Speaker 1: that in the bathroom and it sounds just like the
- 51:30Speaker 1: Chrits Isaac song. Jimmy played that for me. Yeah, no, no, Jack,
- 51:38Speaker 1: you ever see anything you Uh?
- 51:41Speaker 2: I was convinced I saw a UFO once. It was
- 51:44Speaker 2: on the beach over in Bravard.
- 51:45Speaker 10: Uh.
- 51:46Speaker 2: But you know, just the light, the pattern, the movement
- 51:49Speaker 2: of it, you know. But that's also Patrick Air Force basis. Yeah,
- 51:53Speaker 2: it could be something like that, but it was just
- 51:56Speaker 2: lights moving in a way.
- 51:58Speaker 1: I've never seen a move before, buddy. But I've told
- 52:01Speaker 1: you that. Out in the Ocalin National Forest, I was
- 52:03Speaker 1: out there and we years and years ago camping and
- 52:07Speaker 1: at Lake Door Campground, which is a killer little campground
- 52:10Speaker 1: if you're in Orlando want some really cool camping areas
- 52:12Speaker 1: right off Highway nineteen out there. But that Air Force
- 52:16Speaker 1: base thing is out there in the Okalin National Forests,
- 52:19Speaker 1: the one they do the bombing runs in Lake georgrum Man.
- 52:22Speaker 1: We're laying out there on a picnic table. It is
- 52:24Speaker 1: black dark, I mean you get no lightwash at all.
- 52:27Speaker 1: And we're watching out there in the stars and there
- 52:29Speaker 1: are so many stars and then one of them just
- 52:30Speaker 1: starts doing loops and starts kind of rolling around. Just
- 52:34Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm looking at my uh, this is my
- 52:35Speaker 1: ex wife at the time. I'm like, do you see that?
- 52:37Speaker 1: She goes, yeah, what is it? I'm like, I don't know,
- 52:38Speaker 1: but it shouldn't be doing that. Like stars don't do that,
- 52:41Speaker 1: all right? Yeah, stars, just don't start doing skateboard tricks.
- 52:45Speaker 1: It was crazy. Somebody just texted us at seven seven
- 52:48Speaker 1: zero three one.
- 52:50Speaker 5: As a hospice nurse, I once swear that I saw
- 52:53Speaker 5: a faint light rising up out of the body when
- 52:56Speaker 5: the person dies.
- 52:57Speaker 7: Wow.
- 52:57Speaker 1: Really, yeah, that's crazy. My grandmother swears that she saw
- 53:02Speaker 1: Jesus on the plane and on the airplane on the
- 53:04Speaker 1: on the wing of a plane. Really, yeah, what are
- 53:08Speaker 1: you doing out there, Jesus, He's just watching over buddy.
- 53:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:12Speaker 1: She literally flew once in her entire life. What seat
- 53:14Speaker 1: do you have? You get in here? We need you
- 53:18Speaker 1: in here. H You gotta be first class, right, how
- 53:22Speaker 1: about you?
- 53:23Speaker 5: Deb Like you guys, lights in the sky up in Crivets, Wisconsin,
- 53:28Speaker 5: up at our cabin which is up in the northern
- 53:30Speaker 5: woods in Wisconsin, and just looked up from the bonfire.
- 53:33Speaker 1: And was like, what the what are they doing? Over there?
- 53:37Speaker 1: What is that? What is that?
- 53:39Speaker 5: And why are they moving toward each other and then
- 53:42Speaker 5: moving away and then teaming up with another one over here.
- 53:46Speaker 1: It's like, I don't know what the hell that is you.
- 53:48Speaker 1: I've always said that. I bet cruise ship captains have seen.
- 53:52Speaker 5: Some crazy yeah, the underwater submersible, some.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Crazy ish out there, man, Because you get to remember,
- 53:59Speaker 1: you know you're out there, you're eve been partying, and
- 54:01Speaker 1: those dudes are on that bridge and they're watching what's
- 54:03Speaker 1: going on, and you know everybody else is sleeping, and
- 54:05Speaker 1: you're out there in the middle of the ocean, and
- 54:07Speaker 1: there's no way they haven't seen some stuff that they
- 54:09Speaker 1: can't explain.
- 54:09Speaker 5: Oh talk to let's talk about like the Navy. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 54:12Speaker 5: they have sailors that are on those missile destroyers or
- 54:15Speaker 5: whatever nuclear subs.
- 54:16Speaker 1: You hear those being tailed all the time.
- 54:18Speaker 2: If texta right rights in right now says their step
- 54:21Speaker 2: son is in the Coast Guard, he's gone out on
- 54:23Speaker 2: the Gulf in Atlantic a couple of times to do
- 54:25Speaker 2: trips for a couple of months. Every single person on
- 54:28Speaker 2: their ship, officer and enlisted have seen things that they
- 54:33Speaker 2: can't explain. Unidentified identified phenomenon and things in the water
- 54:39Speaker 2: and flying around the boat.
- 54:41Speaker 3: All of these documented and crew logs.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Damn crazy. Well, we know some of the astronauts have
- 54:46Speaker 1: seen stuff yep.
- 54:47Speaker 2: And the government recently releases stuff by the Air Force right.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Up, Yeah, that they flying twenty five hundred miles an
- 54:54Speaker 1: hour and it takes a dead left and then stops
- 54:56Speaker 1: and then goes three thousand the next way.
- 54:58Speaker 5: How about the one hit by the hell fire missile
- 55:00Speaker 5: and it cracks up the hell Fire missiline.
- 55:02Speaker 1: It barely nudges it.
- 55:03Speaker 5: It doesn't even go off course.
- 55:05Speaker 1: I love that question.
- 55:07Speaker 4: That is such a good question is because it's giving
- 55:11Speaker 4: me my memory of just like all of the craziest
- 55:13Speaker 4: moments in my life, of all the times that something
- 55:16Speaker 4: has happened and I've told somebody and I can just
- 55:18Speaker 4: feel like, man, you do not believe me.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, I have a faint memory for my child
- 55:23Speaker 1: and actually just got chill bumps. I have a faint
- 55:26Speaker 1: memory from my childhood and I can't explain it. And
- 55:29Speaker 1: it's the strangest thing. I remember being in a house,
- 55:32Speaker 1: but I don't remember whose house it is. It was
- 55:34Speaker 1: red but dark. But in my hometown there are a
- 55:37Speaker 1: lot of very old, big homes that were built in
- 55:39Speaker 1: eighteen hundreds, because that town is very, very old. So
- 55:42Speaker 1: there's an area of town that's the Historic District, and
- 55:45Speaker 1: there are a bunch of these four and five and
- 55:47Speaker 1: six thousand square foot wooden homes that you walk in.
- 55:49Speaker 1: There's a big entryway and then this wooden staircase that
- 55:52Speaker 1: goes up to the next floor and stuff. And I
- 55:55Speaker 1: don't know why I was there, but I have the
- 55:57Speaker 1: most distinct memory of being in one of those houses.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Is for no reason, because even during my adult life
- 56:02Speaker 1: or my life or I would remember that, we never
- 56:05Speaker 1: knew anybody that lived in one of those houses. But
- 56:08Speaker 1: I remember it being in that house with my mother,
- 56:11Speaker 1: and I remember just sitting there and then all of
- 56:13Speaker 1: a sudden, something walks up these stairs and goes into
- 56:17Speaker 1: the other rooms, and then I don't remember anything else.
- 56:21Speaker 1: I just remember that it had to have been a
- 56:22Speaker 1: dream or something, but I do remember that so distinctly.
- 56:25Speaker 1: It's kind of weird how much it sits out, all right.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Four seven nine four one. Your four o'clock keyword is bank.

- 56:57Speaker 4: died on the beaches of Normandy.
- 56:59Speaker 11: Yeah happened.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Okay, Buddy, I did just say I thought it happened.
- 57:06Speaker 1: I'm just saying I have an incredible memory of it.

- 57:48Speaker 1: Glenn Clausman. What's that buddy, see Haerlok's good.
- 57:55Speaker 11: Man had Yeah, I was thinking about getting a cut
- 57:58Speaker 11: because I have a trial, but my wife should know. No,
- 58:01Speaker 11: don't cut it.
- 58:01Speaker 1: No, you look you look great, that's fine. And you
- 58:03Speaker 1: know what, lawyers can get away with a bunch of
- 58:05Speaker 1: different looks. Jerry he oh god, what's his name? Garci know,
- 58:11Speaker 1: the guy who has the ponytail and he lived out
- 58:14Speaker 1: Jerry Spence. Jerry Spence, Yeah, yeah, now deceased.
- 58:17Speaker 11: Incredible lawyer.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Yeah, very good lawyer back in the day for people
- 58:20Speaker 1: who do not remember, he was kind of flamboyant in
- 58:22Speaker 1: the sense that he really embraced this Midwest look. He
- 58:25Speaker 1: would wear these, uh these fringed leather jackets and and stuff,
- 58:29Speaker 1: and he was a really unique dude. But he was
- 58:31Speaker 1: an incredible attorney. Ye Jackson, Yeah, yeah, that's exactly right.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:35Speaker 1: And they did a whole tour of his house which
- 58:37Speaker 1: was just it looked like the lodge for it looked
- 58:40Speaker 1: like a ski lodge, and of course just he and
- 58:42Speaker 1: his wife, I believe.
- 58:43Speaker 11: Yeah, I got lucky enough to be in a group
- 58:45Speaker 11: with him. Many many years ago.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Really yeah, yeah, I mean and he uttered the big
- 58:50Speaker 1: ones like flee Bailey. He spent some time in Florida. No, no, Bailey.
- 58:53Speaker 11: Yeah, but Spence was actually I was out in Texas
- 58:55Speaker 11: at a like a group seminar type thing with him.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, super smart guy. Oh yeah, very engaging, very savvy.
- 59:02Speaker 11: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Hey, you know, we asked a question real quick before
- 59:05Speaker 1: we get started with the thing. We asked a question here.
- 59:07Speaker 1: I saw this on Reddit. Are you familiar with Reddit?
- 59:09Speaker 1: The website?
- 59:10Speaker 5: I heard of it?
- 59:10Speaker 1: Yeah, And it said, uh, what is something you've seen
- 59:14Speaker 1: that you swear that you've seen that you cannot prove?
- 59:18Speaker 1: And the story of mine is at my house over
- 59:20Speaker 1: there on next to where Code Black lives. Yeah, yeah,
- 59:23Speaker 1: no question. Saw something running across my pool there, there's
- 59:26Speaker 1: no question. I don't know what it was. Nothing, I
- 59:29Speaker 1: don't know, but nothing, No question I saw something anything
- 59:32Speaker 1: like that in your life.
- 59:32Speaker 11: You just want me to say there's ghosts at my house?
- 59:34Speaker 1: No, I don't know, but I know there is. The
- 59:36Speaker 1: house is fourteen.
- 59:39Speaker 11: I've never seen it.
- 59:40Speaker 7: No.
- 59:41Speaker 11: No weird sounds, no, nothing, but it's weird sounds. We've
- 59:44Speaker 11: got animals, you know, we've got weird sounds. We've got
- 59:46Speaker 11: you know, who knows what's running around in the attic,
- 59:48Speaker 11: you know, squirrels or whatever. We have weird sounds we've got.
- 59:50Speaker 1: There's no way your wife doesn't believe something's in there.
- 59:53Speaker 1: I don't know, they're civil she probably yeah, she probably.
- 59:56Speaker 11: Believes, but they're nice ghosts.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Yeah, but that house is built in on eight teen one,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: eighteen eighties, eighteen eighty five, eighteen eighty five. There's got
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: to be a bular guard ghost in there somewhere, right, there's.
- 1:00:07Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, I mean there's a woman who died in
- 1:00:09Speaker 11: the house, you know, a long, long time ago.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess most houses that are over probably fifty
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: sixty seventy years old have had someone passing them.
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:00:18Speaker 11: We've had people claim that they've you know, like a
- 1:00:20Speaker 11: house sitter once and we've had one. So, oh, I'm
- 1:00:22Speaker 11: not going back in there, you.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Know, really everything.
- 1:00:25Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, I never heard that. Yeah, And my wife
- 1:00:27Speaker 11: is smelled.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Isn't it cigar smoke or perfume?
- 1:00:31Speaker 11: Yeah, it's perfume at one time. Another time it was
- 1:00:34Speaker 11: her father's pipe smoke.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Wow, that's crazy. See, that's that's one experience I have
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: not had when it comes to anything that you would
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: consider paranormal or the supernatural. And I think that's actually
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: one of the most intriguing is the aroma thing, Yeah,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: because that's hard to kind of you know, you see
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: something that could be a flashlight or whatever, but smelling
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: something in an area where there's nothing that's causing it
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: is kind of crazy.
- 1:00:56Speaker 11: And a particular type perfume, so dead perfume is a
- 1:00:59Speaker 11: common thing.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I've heard that before.
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: Yeah, Yeah, And like the Maitland Center for the Arts
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: or the Art Center in Maitland, that's said to be
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: you can smell the cigar smoke of the man who
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: had founded that.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: All right, Glynn is a personal injury attorney. You've been
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: working here in Orlando for a whole bunch of years,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: a very long time, making sure that people have the
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: right coverage, making sure that people get good advice when
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: it comes to having a car crash. A lot of
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: times you'll come in and you'll bring a case, we'll
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: read that kind of go over and try to figure
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: it out. Today you have a trial coming up. I do,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: and we were talking a little bit this morning about
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: you know what you can expect if you do get
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: into an accident like that and it has to go
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: in front of a trial, and how you have to
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: prepare in those things, and a little bit more about
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: your insurance coverage as well.
- 1:01:42Speaker 11: Yeah, I've got a trial starting on Monday, and we
- 1:01:46Speaker 11: talked a little bit about people are kind of unaware
- 1:01:49Speaker 11: of the process if you have to go to trial
- 1:01:51Speaker 11: on a car crash case, just what happens. And of
- 1:01:54Speaker 11: course what we're doing is we're preparing our client, getting
- 1:01:56Speaker 11: him ready, going over what we need to go over
- 1:02:00Speaker 11: the process of a trial. Is the first step is
- 1:02:02Speaker 11: we'll come in Monday morning. The judge will bring in
- 1:02:05Speaker 11: a whole group of people that are selected only because
- 1:02:08Speaker 11: they have a driver's license and they had the pleasure
- 1:02:11Speaker 11: of getting a notice in the mail that they need
- 1:02:13Speaker 11: to appear in court in this particular county where the
- 1:02:16Speaker 11: case is going to be on Monday morning at a
- 1:02:19Speaker 11: certain time. And then a group of them will get
- 1:02:22Speaker 11: called up into the courtroom and they'll sit on benches
- 1:02:25Speaker 11: in the courtroom, and it's called the void yer process,
- 1:02:29Speaker 11: where the lawyers each get a chance to ask all
- 1:02:31Speaker 11: the prospective jurors questions to see if somebody has a
- 1:02:34Speaker 11: bias that would make them not the right juror to
- 1:02:37Speaker 11: sit on a case. So representing the injured party will
- 1:02:42Speaker 11: ask questions first, then the other side representing the other
- 1:02:45Speaker 11: party or last questions, and then the judge will decide
- 1:02:48Speaker 11: whether there's people that have answered the questions in such
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: a way that they can't sit on the jury it
- 1:02:53Speaker 11: wouldn't be right. Maybe they don't understand English. Well, maybe
- 1:02:56Speaker 11: they've got some kind of emergency they can't sit for.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: A whole week, or maybe they've been the car crash
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: and had a bad experience with an attorney in a
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: trial before. I mean that that also comes on the play.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Does it, Yeah? Sure?
- 1:03:06Speaker 11: Or some people have, you know, injuries that they're still
- 1:03:09Speaker 11: recovering from, and some people with maybe the other side
- 1:03:13Speaker 11: thinks they'd be more sympathetic to our client. Maybe we think, well,
- 1:03:16Speaker 11: they're living with their injuries, and you know, it's just
- 1:03:19Speaker 11: hard to pigeonhole exactly whether that person's going to be
- 1:03:24Speaker 11: fair for your side or not. And then afterwards what
- 1:03:27Speaker 11: happens is we end up with six people in an
- 1:03:29Speaker 11: alternate and the judge then gives them instructions. One of
- 1:03:32Speaker 11: the instructions is they can take notes during the course
- 1:03:35Speaker 11: of the trial, which we encourage and the lawyer has
- 1:03:38Speaker 11: watched to see who's which jurors are taking notes. And
- 1:03:41Speaker 11: then the next step is called opening statements, where representing
- 1:03:46Speaker 11: the injured victim, we'll get up and we'll give a
- 1:03:48Speaker 11: short summary of what we.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Expect the case to be, right, yeah, which you can
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: prove yep, yep.
- 1:03:53Speaker 11: And then the other side gets up and does their
- 1:03:54Speaker 11: things opening statement, and then we start bringing witnesses and
- 1:03:59Speaker 11: we'll present whitnesses, and the other side then gets to
- 1:04:01Speaker 11: present witnesses, and then the parties do what's called closing argument.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Right, and that's just wrapping up the case, wrapping up
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: what you think is what you've proved with your statements.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Do you coach witnesses. We don't coach witness as we
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: prepare witness That's what I mean. But I mean, you
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: know what I mean is like it's illegal. I believe
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I would be illegal to considered coaching a witness. That's
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: well vernacular.
- 1:04:22Speaker 11: I don't know what you mean by coaching a witness.
- 1:04:24Speaker 11: But you know, the witness gets on the witness stand,
- 1:04:25Speaker 11: is they're sitting in a chair next to the judge,
- 1:04:28Speaker 11: you've seen that. You've all seen it on television. Yeah,
- 1:04:30Speaker 11: and at that point the lawyer gets up and ask questions.
- 1:04:33Speaker 11: As the party that puts the witness on, you're not
- 1:04:36Speaker 11: supposed to ask leading questions that suggests an answer, right,
- 1:04:39Speaker 11: that might be what you're being coaching a witness.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: What I'm basically saying is like, if you have the
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: witness and the witnesses your client, you sit them down
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: in your office and say, hey, listen, under cross examination,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: they're probably going to ask you this, and they're probably
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: going to ask you this, and they're probably going to
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: ask you this. What I'm trying to say is I
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: mean when you say prepared, that's kind of what I mean. Like,
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: given these guys a heads up of what's coming their way,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: so they have a better idea of how to answer
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: it and how to be prepared for a question maybe
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: they wouldn't have thought of.
- 1:05:04Speaker 11: Right, Absolutely, we need to know the ins and outs
- 1:05:06Speaker 11: of our case, and we need to know the points
- 1:05:08Speaker 11: that the other side is going to try to make
- 1:05:10Speaker 11: to hurt our case, right right, right, oh yeah, So
- 1:05:13Speaker 11: absolutely you've got to know everything that the other side
- 1:05:16Speaker 11: might have against your case, and you've got to You've
- 1:05:18Speaker 11: got to prepare your witness to confront that, to respond
- 1:05:21Speaker 11: to that, because he's going to be questioned about that. Yeah, sure,
- 1:05:23Speaker 11: I got a great question for you. I'm going to
- 1:05:25Speaker 11: call it great right up front.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: What do you say about that?
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Wrong?
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: A lot of confidence for this. You know, lawyers really
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: aren't anonymous anymore. You know, back in the day, you'd
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: go to your phone book, you'd go whatever, and you'd
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: grab yourself a lawyer and off you'd go. Right, Maybe
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: you'd call a friend and say, hey, I've been in
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: a car crash. You know anybody that's good at this,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: and then you go and find that person on if
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: they go Do you guys who advertise, whether it be
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: in radio, whether it be on television, on billboards, do
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: you guys have issues finding jurors that may be a
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: fan of yours here on the show and if they
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: expressed that, is that a disqualifying scenario for you? Or
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: it can be for any other attorney. I like I
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: like Newland's ads, right, I like this, or that I
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: love Glennley's on The Jim.
- 1:06:04Speaker 11: Colbert Show, or I don't like it right exactly right,
- 1:06:06Speaker 11: don't like the billboards? And I think they're bad for
- 1:06:09Speaker 11: the you know, uh, legal professions, right. I think they're demeaning.
- 1:06:12Speaker 11: And if a juror indicates that they have some preconceived
- 1:06:17Speaker 11: feeling that makes your side one step behind the other side,
- 1:06:22Speaker 11: then that's not going to be a fair juror. Right,
- 1:06:24Speaker 11: even if the juror says, ah, you know, yeah, you're
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: starting a little bit ahead of the other guy, but
- 1:06:29Speaker 11: the other guy can catch up. I'll listen to what
- 1:06:31Speaker 11: everybody says, and I'll be fair if they if they
- 1:06:34Speaker 11: state that they've got that they've got that preconceived notion
- 1:06:37Speaker 11: that puts one side ahead of the other side, right,
- 1:06:39Speaker 11: that makes them a biased jur Right, And.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: You guys get how many tries you each get, like,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: is it six opportunities to bounce a juror that even
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: though that the other attorney may like, you can say,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: I do not care for that, you can bounce that juror.
- 1:06:51Speaker 11: Great question. What happens is if if it's obvious and
- 1:06:55Speaker 11: a jurors answers that they're not going to be a
- 1:06:57Speaker 11: fair and impartial juror in the case, we ask the
- 1:06:59Speaker 11: joe to remove that person, and the judge agrees that
- 1:07:03Speaker 11: that person has responded in a way that they wouldn't
- 1:07:05Speaker 11: be fair and unbiased, and the judge will excuse them,
- 1:07:08Speaker 11: and then we're left with folks that the judge hasn't
- 1:07:11Speaker 11: excused that we may feel would not be a good
- 1:07:14Speaker 11: juror for us. In this particular case, we have the option.
- 1:07:17Speaker 11: We have three what they call strikes. We can strike
- 1:07:19Speaker 11: three different jurors from that panel. And you look at
- 1:07:22Speaker 11: it that they're sitting in a row, and you look
- 1:07:24Speaker 11: at well, if I strike this duror here, this one
- 1:07:27Speaker 11: over here, who is number seven is going to come in?
- 1:07:29Speaker 11: Am I better off with this one? Or am I
- 1:07:31Speaker 11: better off with number seven?
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Oh? It is?
- 1:07:33Speaker 11: It's incredible. And then not only is it you doing it,
- 1:07:36Speaker 11: you've got to try to figure out what the other
- 1:07:38Speaker 11: side is going to do. I mean, you may have
- 1:07:40Speaker 11: someone who you think, you know, I'm going to use
- 1:07:42Speaker 11: a challenge to get rid of this person, a strike
- 1:07:43Speaker 11: to get rid of this person because I'm not comfortable
- 1:07:45Speaker 11: with this person. But the other side may feel the
- 1:07:48Speaker 11: same way. And you each have three, so you'd rather
- 1:07:51Speaker 11: them burn one of theirs than you burn yours. But
- 1:07:54Speaker 11: you take turns, and it is very much a chessment.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: It's like a draft.
- 1:08:00Speaker 11: Get There is a whole lot of thinking going on
- 1:08:04Speaker 11: on this this process, a whole lot of thinking.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Now when you and the attorneys are other attorneys are
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: doing this, is it right in front of the person
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: or is this a private conversation like if you if
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: this is juror that comes up and the juror maybe
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: you may like them, but the other person doesn't do that.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Does the attorney just say that in court? Do they
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: meet up and go, well, we don't really you know.
- 1:08:20Speaker 11: Know what happens is after all the questions, the judge says,
- 1:08:24Speaker 11: the attorney's do you need a couple of minutes to
- 1:08:26Speaker 11: go over your notes? So we say, yeah, I just
- 1:08:27Speaker 11: give us a couple of minutes. Then it udge says,
- 1:08:29Speaker 11: when you're ready to approach the bench, And both sides
- 1:08:32Speaker 11: approach the bench and the judge turns off the microphone
- 1:08:35Speaker 11: so the jurors cannot hear, and he says, okay, mister Klosman,
- 1:08:41Speaker 11: what's your preference? Is there somebody you feel like you
- 1:08:43Speaker 11: want me to excuse? And I say, yes, excuse number four.
- 1:08:46Speaker 11: And then he says to the other side, the other side,
- 1:08:48Speaker 11: do you have somebody you'd like to excuse, and it
- 1:08:50Speaker 11: goes back and forth, back and forth until both of
- 1:08:53Speaker 11: us have used all three. You know, we might want
- 1:08:55Speaker 11: to save one in case one that in case the
- 1:08:58Speaker 11: other party's bumping people off to get some really bad
- 1:09:01Speaker 11: one that's next in line. We'll want to make sure
- 1:09:03Speaker 11: we say one to get that bad one doesn't sit,
- 1:09:05Speaker 11: because one bad one could kill your whole case.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: That's right.
- 1:09:08Speaker 11: Six people are going to decide the case, and they
- 1:09:10Speaker 11: have to be unanimous in their decision. So you you
- 1:09:13Speaker 11: look at folks that you think might If you think
- 1:09:18Speaker 11: somebody has a strong opinion, it's going to no matter
- 1:09:21Speaker 11: what the other people say, is going to stick by
- 1:09:23Speaker 11: that strong opinion. And if you think that strong opinion
- 1:09:25Speaker 11: is not going to go your way, you've got to
- 1:09:26Speaker 11: get that person off the if you could, because.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: They can also influence other jurors to move that way
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: as well. If if they have a really strong personality,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: that could happen.
- 1:09:35Speaker 11: That's that's exactly right. They all go back in the
- 1:09:37Speaker 11: room after they hear closing arguments and after they get
- 1:09:40Speaker 11: the instructions from the judge to follow, they go back
- 1:09:43Speaker 11: in the room and they have to all agree on
- 1:09:45Speaker 11: the decision.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Let me ask a question here. So do the jurors
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: pick the four person or do the attorneys or the
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: judge pick the four person?
- 1:09:53Speaker 11: The jurors pick the four person.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: So they get together and they decide one of those
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: people would be the four person?
- 1:09:58Speaker 11: Correct?
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Who would be? Who would be the best four persons
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: on this show?
- 1:10:02Speaker 11: I don't think we have one doing.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Whoa there is guys, Wow, I don't want to offend anybody.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Hard to pick? I mean, you've got I would pick Jack.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: I picked Jack is the four person, and I'd say
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: three of us could have served in that role.
- 1:10:21Speaker 11: That's true, three three of you could have served in
- 1:10:23Speaker 11: that role. I think Ross a little too humorous.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, a little too Yeah, judge would take him serious.
- 1:10:30Speaker 11: No, I think you know the other jurors. He's young.
- 1:10:33Speaker 11: It's harder for a young person to convince older people. Yeah,
- 1:10:36Speaker 11: you've got that that young. Yeah, but you know absolutely, Jack, Jim,
- 1:10:40Speaker 11: and Deborah all would be good four persons because they're
- 1:10:42Speaker 11: very knowledgeable. They have assertive personalities. They will listen to
- 1:10:47Speaker 11: listen to the other side. They probably take good notes. Yeah,
- 1:10:51Speaker 11: they'd all be wonderful. For four people would be wonderful.
- 1:10:54Speaker 11: They would during the.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: Judge I need a minute, yeah, glad. Do they have
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: to leave the notebooks behind?
- 1:11:03Speaker 14: No?
- 1:11:03Speaker 11: They take the notebooks.
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: Do they keep them? Absolutely?
- 1:11:06Speaker 11: Yeah, they want to be able to refer to them
- 1:11:08Speaker 11: and deliberation.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: But I mean after the case, when the you know,
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: after the verdict, do they then get to keep the notebooks?
- 1:11:15Speaker 11: Surely they are their notebooks. One of the things they
- 1:11:18Speaker 11: cannot do is they cannot be texting people and emailing
- 1:11:21Speaker 11: people and cannot be talking to outsiders about anything that
- 1:11:24Speaker 11: goes on during the case.
- 1:11:25Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Yes, I may actually just text and said, hey, when
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: you do pick your juror jurors, do you find do
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: you go find their social media and just kind of
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: make sure that they're not out there, you know, tweeting
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: about it or or you know, texting about it.
- 1:11:36Speaker 11: Great question. You try to look at their social media
- 1:11:39Speaker 11: before you select them?
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Really? Yeah, so you know this way in advance. You
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: know that you know the panel in advance. We don't
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: know the panel in advance. We know the panel when
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: we show up. So you have somebody like an aid
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: or assistant.
- 1:11:50Speaker 11: We're looking at you know, social media on folks.
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: Yeah, wow, that's what they're doing on their laptops in
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: the court, right, they're.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Not looking at they're not looking at notes, They're going
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: to Facebook.
- 1:12:00Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean you try to at least you know,
- 1:12:03Speaker 11: it gives you a good idea.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: So that's an interesting point because I mean, you could
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: be looking at this panel. Let's say, you know, you
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: get a guy comes up, looks really well buttoned up,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: good suit, you could tell he's a professional, good haircut,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: the whole nine yards, you know, good watch, and you're like,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: oh man, this guy looks like somebody that is definitely
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: going to be a thinker. And you go to their
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Facebook page and it's just nothing but you know, crazy
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: like conspiracy theory text and stuff like that. You definitely
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: want to stay away.
- 1:12:27Speaker 11: From that, Right, Well, you believe that's the type of
- 1:12:30Speaker 11: person you would think is a strong personality that's not
- 1:12:32Speaker 11: going to be convinced by other folks. And if you
- 1:12:34Speaker 11: have any hesitation that he's not going to go your way,
- 1:12:37Speaker 11: you're best off trying someone else.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I can convince old people to what they just anything.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: They just have to be like super old to give
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: you five dollars to go away, Like they just got
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: to be like out in their mind. Old have you ever.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: I mean obviously that you've been doing this so long,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: you had to have chosen one or not chosen one,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: or gotten to a point where you picked somebody because
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: you thought for sure it was gonna be the best one.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: And then and then like two jurors later, it's the
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: absolute dreamer and inside it's just killing you.
- 1:13:07Speaker 11: Yeah, it's happened. It's happened. Where if I've left a
- 1:13:10Speaker 11: bad person on once and I think it hurt the
- 1:13:12Speaker 11: ultimate decision, but you know it's uh, you try to
- 1:13:16Speaker 11: do the best skin at the time, and you just
- 1:13:19Speaker 11: you just sometimes people don't put forward a truthful perspective
- 1:13:24Speaker 11: of who they are. They put forward a perspective that
- 1:13:27Speaker 11: they want you to hear or believe, right yea, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:29Speaker 11: yeah yeah yeah.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Always get seen is a really good, cool explanation, Like
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: I've never heard it broken down like that, right, awesome, man,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: you guys give it up. Good laugh for glenk. Claws.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: If you're out there and you've been in a car crash, man,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I'm telling you, this is the guy that other lawyers
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: call when they need helping car crash cases. Super lawyer,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: legal elite. He's been that way for years. If you
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: go and call him, you will get him on the phone,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: and it's not going to be some some lackey at
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: the office just you know, pushing off phone calls so
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: he doesn't have to deal with him. He picks his
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: phone up and handles your case personally. That it's the
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: whole reason that we have you in here.
- 1:14:02Speaker 11: Thanks so much, But I gotta tell you next week
- 1:14:04Speaker 11: I will not be picking up the phone. I'll be
- 1:14:06Speaker 11: in court trying a case. Yeah, but the office will
- 1:14:08Speaker 11: be taking care of things and we'll be following up with.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Folks, and good luck with you, hey, buddy, Thanks, thanks
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: so much. All right for seven nine one text us
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: seven seven zero three one back a second. What's up y'all?
- 1:14:27Speaker 16: Hey man?
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: True story.
- 1:14:29Speaker 18: I mean the boys and a couple of ladies, probably
- 1:14:31Speaker 18: like ten years ago. We're camping out in a little
- 1:14:33Speaker 18: big Econ forest area gym. Sure you're familiar with that.
- 1:14:37Speaker 18: All night I had a weird like feeling that someone
- 1:14:40Speaker 18: was watching us, freaking me out. Anyways, didn't go to sleep,
- 1:14:44Speaker 18: woke up the next morning or you know, got up
- 1:14:45Speaker 18: the next morning. Soon the sun came up.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: But looking around and.
- 1:14:48Speaker 18: We saw footprints like size sixteen shoe, seventeen shoe all
- 1:14:53Speaker 18: around the campsite nuts ew.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: So interestingly there there may you may be onto something that.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Do you remember the guy that used to live out
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: there in those woods at the Little Econ River and
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: he would if you were canoeing down there or out
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: there camping, he would come up to your campsite and
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: you like asked for beer and stuff. And he was
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: kind of a legend in those woods. And he had
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: a name and I cannot remember what it was. And
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: they finally ran him out of there. I believe somebody
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: will know who it is. I'm telling you four seven
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: nine four one. You're five o'clock keyboard his money and
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: ey go to real radio dot FM and send that
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: away for your chance in a thousand bucks. It was
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: like machete man or or tree man or something like that.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: And he lived out there in the woods in Little
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Econ and if you drove down there, you know, it
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: was kind of a like a rite of passage to
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: give him a couple of beers or something. That's awesome. Yeah,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: it was like a troll. It was like a local legend. Yeah,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: it was. I mean, I know for a fact, people
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: listening to me right now in the area. Know exactly
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: who I'm talking about. I'm Jim. There's dead hell Jack's
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: ear as well, and so is Ross River.
- 1:16:05Speaker 15: Dave.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: It's not River Day. It's like Treeman or River. It
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: is something like that riverman Treeman something like that. But
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: that dude used to be out there and people would
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: camp and uh, and some of the girls would get
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: freaked out because he would he would come to your
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: camp at night when you were sleeping. Oh boy, yeah,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: that freaked me out. He never did any harm to anybody,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: I don't think, but of course it was unsettling if
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: you know somebody's walking around your camp. You don't know,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: are you a camp or Ross you? Brother? The last
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: time I can't brother.
- 1:16:35Speaker 4: Day three, I cried in a shower. Why because I
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: smelled whiskey. Oh yeah, I was sleep deprived. I was
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: in Yellowstone. Oh yeah, that's right when you went up
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: with your brother.
- 1:16:48Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: And he's not a camper either, No, no, no, he
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: does not strike me as a camper. I didn't have
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: water for like fifty hours. Dude, I smelled so bad.
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: And then like I had this weird thing that happened
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: when I was camp where like, only at six thirty
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: would I get an hour of sleep as the sun
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: comes up, but it's not too bright, but it is
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: heating it up. And then the sun's all the way
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: out and now I'm up. Yeah, so like, well, yeah,
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: I'm not a camper. It's soft man, are you really?
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: I'm a sentient machio latte.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Somebody says his name is Tree Trimmer. That's exactly who
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: it was. Tree Trimmer was the guy's name, and he
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: lived out there in the woods up the little Econ
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: River out by UCF in that area out there, and
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: you would go out there camping and it would be
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: like a rite a passage where you know, Tree Trimmer
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: would come out of the woods and you'd give him
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: a couple of beers or whatever he said there and
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: talked to him for a few minutes and they disappear
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: back in the woods. I mean, I don't know if
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: he's still alive. This was years ago when we talked
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: about this guy, and I think they eventually threw him
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: out of there. I don't know where he went. Damn.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: It's not nice. Yeah, I mean, doude, my wife knows
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: somebody that lives in the woods, like off the grid.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: We were doing a reunion of some of her friends
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: out there in Geneva one time, and we're all sitting
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: around this campfire and somebody says, hey, and the guy's
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: name is Little Joe, right, his name's Little Joe. This
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: is a truth. This is all true, dude, I'm telling you,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: my life is crazy. And we're sitting there and one
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: of the other classmates goes, hey, is Joe coming, a
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Little Joe coming? And they're like, yah, you're supposed to
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: be a huredny minute now. And I'm like, Okay, that's cool.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I've heard a lot about Little Joe. I can't wait
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: to meet Little Joe. I've heard all the great lore
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: about Little Joe. How he grew up in a house
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: with no power and no plumbing and this other stuff.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: And we're sitting there and somebody goes, there he is,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: and I look toward the driveway. Dude walk out of
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: the woods like Bigfoot. Yeah, because that's where he lived.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Likely got like in a cabin. Dude, he just walked
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: when he left, he just walked into the woods like
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: Homer SIPs and just disappearing into the bush like that.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: I mean, but there's a lot of people like that though. Man,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: they just don't like being around people. Yeah.
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: Man, I love when there's someone in the town that
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: kind of grows to be famous.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: The Ferrari guy here in Orlando, Frai guy.
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: Yeah, the Ferrari guy, a little tiny short, it's little.
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: I think he's Italian.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: No, I don't know the Ferrari guy. People know about
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: the Ferrari. I mean we had the fat guy that
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Dennis Salvaggio. We've had that guy. He's kind of a
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: local legend. And then we had another guy called Master Legend.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Remember that guy, the guy that was supposed to be
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: like our hometown superhero. And he made this whole like
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: costume out of like you know, Pringles cans or whatever
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: in tinfoil, and he would go walking around like as
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: he was going to thwart crime or something. That's that's true.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: And where was that in Orlandos? His name was Master Legend.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: I thought you knew him.
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: I this is starting to grow familiar. But I think
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: I'm conflating my other Vigilanti Vigilant it's vigil uncle. Oh, no,
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: vigil Auntie, it's vaginal Auntie.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: I've blocked out there. Get my superheroes. Confused with Yeah,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: but he was like a hometown superhero. Remember Ratman out
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: at UCF they started it was a big hoax, but
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: you know, people said they saw a guy like a
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: guy that would he was like a vigilante and he
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: would go around and like a with a pullover thing
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: that looked like a rat's face. That's when they were
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: having all those problems at UCFO. Dudes coming out of
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: the woods and assaulting women, and it was all a hoax,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: just made up by a couple of students. Pretty funny,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: all right. Four oh seven nine one six one o
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: four one text does at seven seven zero three one
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: look man in the world. The Internet dating is always
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: one of those wild things, and every it seems like
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: every other week we see a new kind of dating
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: challenge or idea or whatever. And the funny thing is,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: is this one I'm gonna tell you guys about. They
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: seem to be like kind of coming down on it.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: But I don't understand why there's a new thing called
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: an attraction hobby that men are doing. What do you
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: think an attraction hobby is? It's a hobby meant to
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: pick up women. That's exactly the case, you know, beginning
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: and end right there?
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: Can I throw a flag on the field here? Yeah,
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: go home, cause it's not supposed to, at least for me.
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: I think I have hobbies that make me attractive, but
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: I don't have those hobbies to make me attractive. But
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: I'm fully aware that I look good when I'm reading
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: a book. That's well, oddly enough, what do you think
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: some of these are?
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Like I would put reading a book. It's okay, so
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: believe it or not. I know that that is one
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: that women are attracted to men who read, but that's
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: not the case. What would you think an attraction hobby
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: would be if you were a guy that thought like this, Like,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: I'll do a hobby that women think is cool and sensitive,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: and that way I'll get into a conversation with a
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: woman that maybe wouldn't have a conversation with me, but
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: I'm doing this particular thing, so they think I'm interesting
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: or maybe deeper. Cooking. Cooking is not one of them, well,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: not one they mentioned. I think cooking works fine though.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: Playing a guitar that's another. That's a that's a really
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: good one as well. The ones they're talking about here
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: is kind of crazy, right. Creative writing that could go
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: south real fast. Yeah, exactly. I was just thinking the
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: same thing tennis, which I don't know anybody that plays
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: tennis anymore, or they think it's cute to play tennis pottery.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: I'm guessing the ghost scene is what probably power? Is
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: that right for anybody who remembers it?
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: Yeah, licking your own eyebrows?
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: No, eating a pudding cup without a spoon. God, while,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: just eat a putting cup without a spoons.
- 1:22:20Speaker 5: Let's see that technique's me. You need to put a
- 1:22:24Speaker 5: cup without a spoon on a park bench. You're gonna
- 1:22:26Speaker 5: get more than pigeons.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: And creative writing. There's a thin line between creative writing.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: And manifesto, right, Yeah, stumble across your partner's writings and
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: go like, whoa, No, if you're creative writing, says the man.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: More than three or four times, I got bad news
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: for you. You're making a short term plan for something.
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: I think I am my most attractive self to my
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: wife when she walks by me and.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I don't look up and I'm just re a book.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: Yeah she likes that. Yeah, What's what she doesn't like
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: is that I've been reading the same book from like
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: two shares they're saying, like dudes or were that wear
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: glasses that don't need them. Oh, that's lame in me
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: is a big thing. They only wear vintage clothing, or
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: they'll wear a certain kind of they'll carry a certain
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: kind of bag because it makes them look smarter, like
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: where rather than just having a backpack, they'll carry like
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: a messenger bag or.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: Something like that.
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: And like, I'm kind of with you, deb I'm also
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: eye rolling at that. But what that's also telling me
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: is just fashionable someone trying.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: But the reason, the reason I don't have any problem
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: with this because all of those things enhance who you
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: are as a person. Like if you really weren't into pottery,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: like you're just some like sports bro and you start
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: taking pottery, at least you're enhancing yourself. I mean, even
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: if it doesn't work. I mean they try to slam
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: this idea as if it's a bad idea. I'm like,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: I don't get what the bad idea is.
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: That's why I said it was like I have hobbies
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: that I think I am more attractive when I do
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: said hobby.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: But I'm not going I'm not a book because I'm like, damn,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I'm sexy I think.
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: They're slamming the motivation of your choosing.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, probably so yeah yeah, because I mean, I
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: don't know any woman that doesn't by Jack when he's
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: doing his couponing.
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: Oh my god, you cut right on the line.
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: There's a little on the.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: Coupon, a little on the waist.
- 1:24:19Speaker 5: Oh man, don't whip out your coupon organizer.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, Oh my god. Is that is that
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: a receipt? This is four dollars for one hundred and
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: fifty dollars worth of groceries.
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: It's alphabetized.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: If he has a if he has a coupon for pudding.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: Oh all right, sherries back of a second.
- 1:24:38Speaker 8: Today is cooler cooler with ross paget presented by Mills Air.

- 1:24:57Speaker 1: That was the tree trimmer.
- 1:24:59Speaker 19: I took even the thank Giving dinner on your best
- 1:25:02Speaker 19: Thanksgiving ever.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: This dad guy, he's no longer with us.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: Oh that sucks. People get freaked out about him because
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: he carried a machete.
- 1:25:14Speaker 20: Hello, Culvert crew, this is Charles Knight in Melbourne. I
- 1:25:19Speaker 20: just want to set the record straight. I am not
- 1:25:21Speaker 20: Charles Knight to everybody's seeing with the pitchfork in the
- 1:25:24Speaker 20: acts attacking people's homes. I'm a different Charles Knight altogether.
- 1:25:28Speaker 20: And uh, I'm kind of well known around here because
- 1:25:31Speaker 20: we own an entertainment company, Rockstar Entertainment, and we have hundreds,
- 1:25:36Speaker 20: six thousands of associates and friends. I am not the
- 1:25:42Speaker 20: guy with the pitchfork.
- 1:25:47Speaker 19: It's me the tree trimmer from the e kon Remember
- 1:25:50Speaker 19: that time you came out to the konk you had
- 1:25:53Speaker 19: that boy. He was dressed up like a woman. I
- 1:25:56Speaker 19: looked like I was broke back Mountain or something. Anyway,
- 1:26:00Speaker 19: I heard you talking about me on the radio. I
- 1:26:03Speaker 19: had to call in and say, treat turner out all.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: Right, And somebody just reminded me it's right. He he
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: he wanted to suck your toes.
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: Oh this sicker turk.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah. Somebody reminded me. His whole thing was
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: he would he want he would ask to suck your
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: toes if you're a girl. I mean it's a hard sell.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, hey when you live in the woods and
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: then walk out with a machete. He ask for beer
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: and then toes big ass.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: Stone Crow did say it was the best Thanksgiving ever.

- 1:28:38Speaker 1: Jack Hill and Ross as well. I promised this is
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: not a theme today. I promised.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: This was in the news.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: The model ex wife who revealed that NFL husband Matt
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: Khalil's manhood size cites free speech in a bid to
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: toss the lawsuits. So this woman who went out there too,
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: went out and went on a podcast and talked about
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: her husband and their inability to have a physical relationship
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: because of his anatomy. Has suffered great embarrassment, not only
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: from you know, for his new wife, but his family
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: and himself have dealt with it quite a bit, she says.
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: She says, this is a first speak, a first Amendment
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: right for her to be able to talk about her
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: issues and her quote unquote trauma. This is a completely
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: different twist, right because this is not a First Amendment right,
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: Like you can't go out and I mean it's not there.
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: She's not smearing him by any means, and with all
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: jokes aside, you know, it's still something that makes people
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: pay attention to him for something other than you know,
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: his personality or achievements. Oh man, So he gets to
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: feel like his wife is felt well, I mean I
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: don't know. I mean, do you think his wife has
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: felt that way? I mean, do you do you agree
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: with that or not?
- 1:29:47Speaker 5: I don't see that. Well, she's not you know, I
- 1:29:51Speaker 5: don't see where she's slandering him.
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: Well, she's not slandering him. There's no libel, but she
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: is embarrassing him.
- 1:29:58Speaker 4: So slander all that, right, I guess there's the legal
- 1:30:02Speaker 4: law term of slander and defamation. But this is also
- 1:30:06Speaker 4: what I remember when I first reacted to this, and
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: I was like, oh, come on, But then I ended
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: up finding a little bit more details in that, like
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: it's too big.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: Yeah, they never had actual sex because of because they
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: could not. Yeah, like she could not have sex with it.
- 1:30:23Speaker 15: So like, do I think.
- 1:30:25Speaker 4: He's getting smeared or bad things are being said? No
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: to society. But that's in the eye of the beholder, right, Yeah,
- 1:30:34Speaker 4: Because it says here, this is a quote.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: It says allowing the lawsuit to proceed against a woman
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: for sharing a truthful, autobiographical account of sexual trauma would
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: directly undermine those core values. We believe the motion will
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: be granted now unfit debate. Here is that is that trauma.
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: For you not to be able to have sex with
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: your husband because of his size, that is that trauma.
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: I always thought that trauma had to be some thing
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: that was like traumatic. I mean, is it traumatic that
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: he that it's just doesn't work. I mean, I don't
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: understand the trauma behind it. Throwing a hypothetical out here.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: Maybe it wasn't.
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: Maybe it was takes two to tango and the sense
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: of he is enlarged and she u.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: Maybe is the other way. Maybe it's the other lay
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: Who knows because it says here that she says. In
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: court documents of pain obtained by page six, Hayley, who
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: filed for divorce from Matt in twenty twenty two, said
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: that he quote had a specific anatomical incompatibility that rendered
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: normal sexual relationship impossible, and the pair had a quote
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: loving union that was ultimately hindered by an unfortunate physical incompatibility.
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: Man now would suck, that would suck, and he sinks
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: he what he see. He's looking for a civil libel
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: suit providing a truthful, autobiotic, autobiographical account of the sexual
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: trauma that she suffered and described having led to the
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: end of the highly publicized celebrity marriage. She seeks to
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: hold this in the public eye.
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: You are just.
- 1:32:09Speaker 3: Obsessed with male genitalities.
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: Nothing to do with this story came up and it's
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: a great argument. Ross just said it. It was a
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: game of bones today. That's what's going on here.
- 1:32:21Speaker 4: The fifth, fifth segment, I think that we've gone straight
- 1:32:25Speaker 4: down south.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: Look, guys, it's tough. It's tough pulling news. There's stiff
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: competition across all websites. Now we're pulling.
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: I you know, I said, perfect debate, and like, if
- 1:32:40Speaker 4: you take out the comedy just to kill all the
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: jokes and there is a sack of there, there's a lot.
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: I start just I start to think that both sides
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: are totally logical and both sides have an argument, because
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: I think it might might be a stretch, but I
- 1:33:02Speaker 4: think I think that if what she is saying should
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: hold legal walk, I don't know if his argument will
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: hold more legal water.
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: He's embarrassed.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: Yeah, they getting the nail on the head there. It
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: says a quote. Hayley Khalil's motion to dismiss does not
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: dispute the fact that she wanted Lee disclosed private and
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: intimate details about Matt Khalil that resulted in widespread, widespread
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: ridicule and unwanted attention. Quote that a spouse does not
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: have a right to expose private and confidential marital and
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: sexual details for the purpose of profiting. What if he
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: were to say something like that to her about her
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: What if it was opposite and he wasn't that endowed.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: Matter of fact, let's say it was the other way around. Yeah,
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: and she was in you know, had an anatomical difference there,
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: and it also made it difficult or her to receive
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: pleasure because of the incompatibility. And he went out and said,
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: I'd love to have a normal sex life with my wife,
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: but it's you know, she's giant down there. You know,
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: how would she feel about that?
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: Or maybe if he said something crazy about her privates
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: that would really make people look at her, you know, differently.
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: You would get a different response. It would be a
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: completely different response.
- 1:34:21Speaker 4: And you would hope that the legal system would not
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: have a different response.
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: Yes, but this is I mean, I agree, I do
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: not have any idea where this is going to go,
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: because you know, in a certain sense, she does have
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: a right to share her issues on the air and
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: Unfortunately he's going to have to deal with that. But
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: in that same sense, that doesn't make her not liable
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: for causing this guy some stress and some discomfort in
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: his personal life by sharing something that you usually wouldn't share,
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: Like your wife doesn't have open discussions with her friends
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: about your size. I know my wife doesn't. I stay
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: up at night thinking that she does. Though, No, women
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: don't do that. Dead women don't do that, do they?
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: Bro Oh my god, dude, it's not good. Really really
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: in some cases really yeah, really it gets we have
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: locker room talk, they've got something else. What do you
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: guys have? What kind of locker room? What's happening?
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: How does that come up?
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: It's like the boot sneeze or something. How does that
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: conversation start?
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: Well, one of our girlfriends say, Dad, your fiance Chris,
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: he's a big guy.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: How is he sounds just like my best day? Okay,
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: So this is a good point. What if that was
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: the case. What if you went in a podcast and
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: you dropped this bomb about your fiance Chris with his job.
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: But what we've been thinking about what that would call
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: the stoppers? Think about the drama that would cause him.
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: I mean he's he is a public official, and.
- 1:35:54Speaker 5: You because it's going to be something that everyone is
- 1:35:56Speaker 5: always going to talk to you about now that I
- 1:35:58Speaker 5: don't know where she could go, right, I don't know
- 1:36:00Speaker 5: any new relationships she's going to be able to have
- 1:36:03Speaker 5: that people aren't going to go, Hey, remember when Hey,
- 1:36:05Speaker 5: do you still talk to him?
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: Hey?
- 1:36:07Speaker 5: Has have you guys ever settled that dispute? This is
- 1:36:09Speaker 5: gonna haunt her as well. I think I think there
- 1:36:13Speaker 5: was a way she could have discussed it without discussing it.
- 1:36:16Speaker 5: And yeah, and I think that that would have been
- 1:36:19Speaker 5: the right thing to do, because you did make a
- 1:36:21Speaker 5: good point. If he said something about her privates, she
- 1:36:23Speaker 5: would be in the She wouldn't be any happier than
- 1:36:26Speaker 5: he is.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: No, she Yeah, I can see that happening. But also
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: if you look at the legal description they put in
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: the divorce, right, how you know that sexual incompatibility?
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:36:37Speaker 2: Right, that cloud if you just use that, that's a
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: cloud that's like on both of them, And you.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: Know that makes you just ask a whole bunch of
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: questions exactly, oh.
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: There's something wrong, you have something wrong, when really the
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: only thing wrong is that I mean, God hit him
- 1:36:55Speaker 2: three times in that line.
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: You know, how does that make people look at his
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: new wife?
- 1:37:02Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: You think about this, like if this girl is saying
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: that this guy is so endowed that they literally could
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: not physically do it. In other words, it would not work,
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: It would not fit without without hurting her that new wife,
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: you know, people are gonna look, Oh, well.
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, Christy, oh god, Jack, hot dog Hallway.
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: Oh, this is a medical discussion. This is a medical
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: discussion right now. How can this happen? How can the
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: two people in the show depth Jesus Jack was.
- 1:37:39Speaker 2: Blaming me for that one because it's like an upset
- 1:37:42Speaker 2: parent when they go through every kid's day until he
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: gets to the right one.
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: How gonna sue sue? Oh, whose class ring is this?
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: Oh cool? The goonies. It's like a wet blain stop
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: not almighty donkey right to the bottom. So we might
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: not be the most appropriate group before people not talking
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: about but this is this is kind of the problem.
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: But this is how people hash things out. This is
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: this is how you hash it out.
- 1:38:14Speaker 4: Maybe this guy's got a case, like it's almost impossible
- 1:38:17Speaker 4: to talk about it.
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you if my man is anything
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: like that night in that movie we were talking about earlier.
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: I don't I don't know how you can enjoy that.
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: Like I will give you an example. There's the trauma
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: I don't like in this movie, in this show that
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: I'm watching, this Night of the seven uh seven kinos,
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: right when this old man comes to that tent and
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: he goes to the bathroom. How can I say this
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: without without getting in trouble? Okay, hold on, let's say
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: this is tough almost.
- 1:38:46Speaker 5: There, like a baby's arm holding it out, No, no ontop,
- 1:38:49Speaker 5: it's that's a line from Austin Posters.
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: I know, but still that was a movie that was okay,
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: so god, I can't say it. There's just a straight
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: DIDGERI deal. Well, yeah, I take you out back. Well
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: when he okay, when he is, you know, going to
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: the restroom, right, you have to you know you most
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: guys just don't have their hands in the air. You know,
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: most guys use one hand to stabilize this scenario.
- 1:39:26Speaker 2: Right, Is that?
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: Am I safe?
- 1:39:27Speaker 5: So far?
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: Jack?
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: Now, if you clean the bathroom, you think it's no hands. Yeah,
- 1:39:30Speaker 1: but most guys use at least one hand to guide
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: what's happening. Right, Well, this guy was doing that, and
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: there was a whole other one outside his hand, whoa
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: like it was you see what I'm saying.
- 1:39:45Speaker 5: I do there's nothing good about that, and then a
- 1:39:47Speaker 5: whole other one. Yeah, there's nothing.
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: Good about that. I can help you with the first
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: half of that. Second half you're on your own. Yeah,
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: this is a two. I need a team.
- 1:39:56Speaker 5: This is a bogo. Nice order a bogo.
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: We need engineer in students to build a bridge. They
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: were so they were married seven years, so for seven
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: years they did not have normal sexual relationships. They had
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: to uh manipulate each other or help each other out
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: in other ways to you know, to get provide their
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: marital needs. It was the biggest factor in their divorce.
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: That is how they worded it.
- 1:40:25Speaker 4: Yeah, and they put that in quote biggest factor. Yeah,
- 1:40:30Speaker 4: it's a it's a it's a bummer. I think ethically,
- 1:40:34Speaker 4: socially it is poor. But legally yes, I.
- 1:40:39Speaker 1: Don't know if it's gonna do anything. In his filing,
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: he says that he's received quote, unwanted attention and invasive
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: commentary from the public, and that family members, including his wife,
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: have been forced to endure the ongoing public circulation of
- 1:40:53Speaker 1: these degrading and deeply personal statements. Man, I gotta tell you,
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: I never thought I could feel bad for somebody that
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: had that problem. You know what I'm saying. You would
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: as a man, and you know for I mean as
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: a man, you never would think that you'd be like
- 1:41:08Speaker 1: dang man. That sucks for that guy because your whole life,
- 1:41:11Speaker 1: all you've heard is you.
- 1:41:12Speaker 5: Know, and that has been the biggest lie that you
- 1:41:15Speaker 5: guys have been sold. Yeah, it really, really, it's the
- 1:41:19Speaker 5: biggest lie the pornography industry has made you guys believe,
- 1:41:23Speaker 5: and it couldnot be further from the truth.
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: He's also suing for invasion of privacy because he says
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: that she disclosed highly intimate and private facts regarding the
- 1:41:32Speaker 1: plaintiff's physical person and sexual life. I gotta tell you,
- 1:41:35Speaker 1: I think she's going to lose. I think this guy
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: has a really good case. Really, I really do. Man,
- 1:41:39Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think you can do this kind
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: of thing again. Think about your wife going on a
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: podcast and talking about it being the other way. Could
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: you imagine that, could you say the other way? Well,
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: but that is a good question, hold on, but it
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: would be equally as shame. That's what I'm saying is
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: like if your wife went on a podcast and said, well,
- 1:41:55Speaker 1: I love my husband. He's great. The problem is he
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: can't really satisfy me because he doesn't really you know.
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: It's kind of a micro scenario, and I feel bad
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: for him. But then next thing, you know, everybody in
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: the world knows that you're micro. Yeah, and that doesn't
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: make you a person of any lesser or greater you know, value,
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: But it does.
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: And I think that's the perfect debate part of it,
- 1:42:16Speaker 4: because like, to the average person, including myself, it sounds
- 1:42:20Speaker 4: crazy to be like, it's the same level of shame.
- 1:42:22Speaker 4: She came out with the whole micro thing. I'm like,
- 1:42:25Speaker 4: not society, but it's in your opinion. You're the eye
- 1:42:29Speaker 4: of the beholder. You are going to find out how
- 1:42:32Speaker 4: much that offends You're not. I also find it very
- 1:42:34Speaker 4: funny that this is right after the guy with the
- 1:42:37Speaker 4: smallest penis came out publicly.
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: Yeah dude came out as like I'm the guy. Oh
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: no way, really, and now I'm going to do a
- 1:42:45Speaker 1: google on that.
- 1:42:46Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: Yeah, he's starting the discussion of what that's like.
- 1:42:49Speaker 4: So he came out on his own oh wow, and said,
- 1:42:52Speaker 4: like ask me questions, wow, really.
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but that took a turn because now
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: he's suing himself.
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: All right, four oh seven nine went six o four one?
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: Money is your five o'clock Keyworry, you got about fifteen
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: minutes or so to get over to a real radio
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: dot of him and send that off for your chance
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: at one thousand dollars.
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: Hot him up.
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: It's time for trivia. We'll do that next.
- 1:43:19Speaker 15: Audi Cober Crew.
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: I don't know what made me think about it about
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: forty five minutes ago. My favorite memory from the show
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: last year was.
- 1:43:26Speaker 11: Dev on the beach.
- 1:43:29Speaker 1: That being said, so far, my favorite memory is her
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: pudding cup eating comment.
- 1:43:37Speaker 15: I that was the funniest thing I heard all day,
- 1:43:40Speaker 15: and I've been listening to you guys since three o'clock.
- 1:43:42Speaker 1: Awesome, I have a great show. Thanks, thank you, buddy.
- 1:43:46Speaker 1: We'll drop top kill him.

- 1:44:07Speaker 1: Woman? What are we doing?
- 1:44:08Speaker 2: Here. I can't tell.
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: Okay, shim, I think you're listening to the Dicky Dick channel.

- 1:45:57Speaker 2: that is what's in the Jackie sack, Anyboddy. All right,
- 1:46:01Speaker 2: young lady won two, three, four or five?
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: Let's go four. Let's go four. That is Simon Simon.

- 1:46:10Speaker 1: Want to play a little game with us.
- 1:46:13Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 1:46:16Speaker 7: To play again?
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: All right, Simon, this is a real easy game. I's
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: got a questionnaire for you. Four answers. One of these
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: answers is not true? What but if you find it,
- 1:46:25Speaker 1: I'll send you over to Jack, and he's got something
- 1:46:27Speaker 1: nice waiting for you. Are you ready? Yes, here you go,
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: a buddy.
- 1:46:32Speaker 9: On this day.
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: In nineteen twenty nine, the Seeing Eye Dog Association opens
- 1:46:39Speaker 1: a branch in the United States of America. Oh wow,
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: here are three fun facts about seeing eye dogs and
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: one lie that kept you from walking into traffic. Oh
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: good boy, all right, we're talking about seeing eye dogs, buddy.
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: Which one of these is not true? Number one? It
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: takes about eighteen months and forty thousand dollars to train
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: a CE and I dog. Number two, About forty percent
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: of the dogs who inter seeing eye dog training failed
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: to graduate. Number two. Three. The average work life for
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: a seeing eye dog with good health is about eight
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: to ten years. Or lastly, there are thirteenth century Chinese
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: scrolls that depict people using dogs for guidance. Which of
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: those is a lie?
- 1:47:21Speaker 9: Uh?
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: Let's go three, can Jim? What's that, buddy? Three? Can three?
- 1:47:27Speaker 1: Number three? No, No, that's absolutely true. But yeah, the
- 1:47:30Speaker 1: average work life for a seeing eye dog is about
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: eight to ten years with good health. Deb you made
- 1:47:36Speaker 1: it one, two, three or five? Let's go three?
- 1:47:40Speaker 4: Three?
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: Is tyler? Tyler?
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: How you doing?
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: I'm doing great? How are you doing good? Buddy? We're
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: talking about seeing eye dogs, which one of these is
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: not true. Number one, it takes about eighteen months and
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: forty grand to train a seeing eye dog. Number two,
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: about forty percent of the dogs who inter seeing eye
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: dog training fail to graduate. Or lastly, there are thirteenth
- 1:47:58Speaker 1: century Chinese scrolls that depict people using dogs for guidance.
- 1:48:04Speaker 11: I want to go with the first one.
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: No, that's absolutely true. Eighteen months and forty thousand dollars. Yeah,
- 1:48:11Speaker 1: so freaking expensive for eight years? Yeah yeah, yeah, crazy?
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: Uh one, two or five? Let's go one. Let's go one.
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: That is Howard, Howard? How are you doing doing good?
- 1:48:22Speaker 1: How are you doing good? Buddy? You got a fifty
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: to fifty shot. Here we're talking about seeing eye dogs,
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: which one of these is not true. Number one, About
- 1:48:28Speaker 1: forty percent of the dogs who enter seeing I dog
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: training fail to graduate. Or lastly, there are thirteenth century
- 1:48:35Speaker 1: Chinese scrolls that depict people using dogs for guidance.
- 1:48:40Speaker 11: How about the first one?
- 1:48:41Speaker 1: That's the one buddy here were what percentage do you
- 1:48:47Speaker 1: believe fail? Probably about twenty h it's about twenty five, buddy,
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: one out of four. Wind up failing. You appreciate it
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: and you are a winner. You're on hold. Jack will
- 1:48:56Speaker 1: get you something nice.
- 1:48:57Speaker 3: Hang on, Chaz and Sean, I might have prizes for
- 1:48:59Speaker 3: you nice.
- 1:49:01Speaker 2: How about that?
- 1:49:02Speaker 7: I like that?
- 1:49:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:49:03Speaker 1: Thirteenth century Chinese scrolls showing people using dogs for guidance.
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: And that's not the only There are other cave drawings
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: or paintings that have people being kind of led by dogs.
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: Don't know if they're blind or not, but it does
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: show people using dogs for guidance.
- 1:49:19Speaker 7: That's cool.
- 1:49:20Speaker 1: About twenty five percent of all dogs that interseeing eye
- 1:49:22Speaker 1: dog training will fail. Don't know if they're blind, they're
- 1:49:25Speaker 1: just sad, they're just burnout. Couple other things before we
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: get to the ross. Thoughts, show me direction dog. What
- 1:49:30Speaker 1: do you never do to a seeing eye dog when
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: it's wearing its harness? Yeah, you never pet it, never
- 1:49:35Speaker 1: approach it. Those dogs, when you put those harnesses on,
- 1:49:38Speaker 1: it tells the dog they're working. That's how they're trained.
- 1:49:42Speaker 5: Actually, any service dogs.
- 1:49:44Speaker 1: So when that harness is off, the dogs will actually
- 1:49:47Speaker 1: act like a normal house dog, like a normal pet.
- 1:49:49Speaker 1: But the minute that damn harness goes on, you're basically
- 1:49:52Speaker 1: telling them they're on and they change their personality completely.
- 1:49:56Speaker 1: While meaning, while many dogs can be seeing eye dogs,
- 1:49:59Speaker 1: what do you got? I think the most popular breeds
- 1:50:01Speaker 1: are for the job.
- 1:50:03Speaker 5: Golden retriever. It's one German shepherd.
- 1:50:06Speaker 1: That's one lab, and that's the other nailed at one,
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: two and three Golden's labs and uh, and Golden shepherds.
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: What's the other one that's right there? And it's gaining popularity. Cockapoo.
- 1:50:18Speaker 5: I won't say I'm mallin wa because they're too high energy.
- 1:50:20Speaker 1: No, god, it actually would look kind of weird if
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: you had one of these dogs got in you around
- 1:50:25Speaker 1: as a seeing eye dogs, bloodhound, a standard poodle. Oh wow, yeah,
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: standard poodles also very smart, super smart, that's what and
- 1:50:34Speaker 1: that's what all of these dogs have in common. They're very,
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: very very intellectual. Uh. Seeing eye dogs are also trained
- 1:50:40Speaker 1: to have spatial awareness. Do you know what that means?
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: I know my headphones have that. They will never take
- 1:50:47Speaker 1: a user into an area where they could bump their
- 1:50:49Speaker 1: head or that isn't wide enough for them to walk.
- 1:50:53Speaker 1: In other words, they understand the body makeup of their
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: owner and they will never take them into an area
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: where like a branch is hanging down. They will always
- 1:51:01Speaker 1: walk them around it. That's cool or are you gonna say, Jack.
- 1:51:04Speaker 2: Well, no, I think this spacional awareness for them and
- 1:51:07Speaker 2: themselves because like a doorway is not just a doorway,
- 1:51:10Speaker 2: they have to fit the person and the dog absolutely.
- 1:51:13Speaker 1: And also around water, they know exactly what and matter
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: of fact, the other thing it's wild is they they're
- 1:51:19Speaker 1: trained not to take a command that they know can
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: hurt their owner. So the dog actually will not listen
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: to the owner if the dog knows that the command
- 1:51:28Speaker 1: will put the owner in jeopardy.
- 1:51:30Speaker 11: Wow.
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: Like if the owner says, let's go, if they're walking
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: into a road, if the dog knows that it's not safe,
- 1:51:35Speaker 1: the dog will not allow the owner to move forward.
- 1:51:38Speaker 2: That's kind of cool, right, That's very cool. I'm glad
- 1:51:40Speaker 2: because it would really defeat the point thoughts.
- 1:51:45Speaker 4: Oh Man, Jim, this is going to be an epic
- 1:51:47Speaker 4: one because I feel like this might.
- 1:51:49Speaker 1: Be one of the most needed ross thoughts of all time.
- 1:51:52Speaker 1: I think I solved the everyone's problem here, all the stress,
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: all the politics, all everything, figured it out. I figured
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: it out. I know how to solve it.
- 1:52:02Speaker 4: It's time for more Republicans to break their stereotypes, because
- 1:52:07Speaker 4: you are about to watch this liberal break some stereotypes.
- 1:52:10Speaker 1: Watch out here comes some USA compliments. We'll do that next.
- 1:52:14Speaker 15: S Hey, everybody, I'm swilly. So we have a little
- 1:52:20Speaker 15: group that goes camping twice a year, and we had
- 1:52:22Speaker 15: a legend of our own there for a couple of
- 1:52:24Speaker 15: years back.
- 1:52:25Speaker 11: His name was Wade.
- 1:52:26Speaker 7: We called him Wandering Wade, and.
- 1:52:28Speaker 15: He would just show up on your campsite, give him
- 1:52:31Speaker 15: a plate of food, he'd hang out with you for
- 1:52:32Speaker 15: a little bit chit chat, and then you'd look back
- 1:52:35Speaker 15: and he'd be.
- 1:52:36Speaker 2: Gone, due to be gone.
- 1:52:37Speaker 15: I don't know if any of us were sure if
- 1:52:39Speaker 15: he was real or not, but Wandering Wade was.
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: He was like a legend to us.
- 1:52:44Speaker 7: Okay, I love you, goodbye.
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: By the way, when we brought a tree trimmer, we
- 1:52:48Speaker 1: got a ton of text from people who remember not
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: only the legend of tree Trimmer, but us talking about
- 1:52:54Speaker 1: him when I was on the Monsters for years, and
- 1:52:57Speaker 1: he would he would be a really unique guy. I
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: think we actually interviewed.
- 1:52:59Speaker 2: The someone said they remember hearing him on the Monsters. Yeah,
- 1:53:04Speaker 2: and MDA had a toe encounter with Elizabeth long Hair.
- 1:53:08Speaker 1: Oh really, I don't remember that. I know that he
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: liked toes for sure, but I don't know if he
- 1:53:14Speaker 1: I don't remember that that was a listener text again.
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: Oh okay, that's a coin flint all right, four seven
- 1:53:19Speaker 1: nine one one, you're six o'clock. Keyword his friend, that's

- 1:53:29Speaker 1: that's easy as well. Grab the iHeartRadio app, go to
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: Real Radio and use that mike to send your comment
- 1:53:33Speaker 1: over to Jack. Don't forget tomorrow at three o'clock we
- 1:53:35Speaker 1: are going to be He's selling tickets to the Bourbon

- 1:53:42Speaker 1: Can we see the price check?
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it's one hundred dollars and service charts. I think
- 1:53:46Speaker 2: it comes to like one o five. Okay, it's forty
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: five seats are available. After that, we are sold out.

- 1:54:06Speaker 1: as well. What we can do is think four businesses
- 1:54:09Speaker 1: that help making this possible forward Slash A Distillery, Corona
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: Cigar Company, Johnny's Other Side, and MCA Transportation. Yeah, thanks, guys,
- 1:54:18Speaker 1: we appreciate that very much. I'm Jim. There's deb Hello Jack, yep.
- 1:54:21Speaker 1: And Ross has has some thoughts.
- 1:54:24Speaker 7: It's weird, let's ride, it's funny.
- 1:54:27Speaker 8: Mills Air sometimes Oh yeah, it's Ross spelled like sauce.
- 1:54:33Speaker 1: Let's get to it.
- 1:54:34Speaker 7: It's Rosscott.
- 1:54:35Speaker 4: Ross Thoughts is brought to you by Mills Air. If
- 1:54:37Speaker 4: you don't know, Mills Air has been providing Central Florida
- 1:54:41Speaker 4: for decades with great AC service. If you have AC once,
- 1:54:45Speaker 4: if you have AC needs like I did many moons ago,
- 1:54:48Speaker 4: I hit them up to hit me up with a
- 1:54:50Speaker 4: carrier unit. It hasn't flinched.
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, no, they're the best. Perfect. I gotta carry
- 1:54:56Speaker 1: your unit as well. It's a monster.
- 1:54:57Speaker 4: You can be like Jim and I by having a
- 1:55:00Speaker 4: great carrier unit. All you have to do is just
- 1:55:02Speaker 4: call Mills Air Gemini Jemini. Yeah, look at that, that's
- 1:55:05Speaker 4: our band name, Jimini Jimini, Jack and I.
- 1:55:08Speaker 1: So, I I know, how's that for a tease? I
- 1:55:11Speaker 1: was telling you, it's like, I think I figured it out.
- 1:55:13Speaker 4: I figured out how to help solve everything at the
- 1:55:19Speaker 4: very least America's soul, the political strife that we have
- 1:55:22Speaker 4: right now.
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: You're you're finding You say you have a you say
- 1:55:25Speaker 1: you have a message of unity, my friend, I do.
- 1:55:27Speaker 4: In fact, this whole this whole segment is because it's
- 1:55:31Speaker 4: stemmed from a disagreement you and I had.
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: Jim Okay, we.
- 1:55:37Speaker 4: Saw the same Budweiser commercial. You saw it and went
- 1:55:41Speaker 4: that ain't for me. I saw it and I was like,
- 1:55:43Speaker 4: let me get my flag. Where's my flag?
- 1:55:47Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, I love that commercial. I love how it's
- 1:55:50Speaker 1: over the top and it's just all sugar and it's
- 1:55:52Speaker 1: all USA. It's so patriotic. It is an od of USA. Yeah,
- 1:55:57Speaker 1: it is comically over the time. You know what, if
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: you have your your AI criticism, your CG criticism, whatever,
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: that's fair. I can't argue that.
- 1:56:05Speaker 4: But there was something that was radically important that happened
- 1:56:10Speaker 4: is that if anybody has listened to this show, they
- 1:56:13Speaker 4: would have assumed Jim is for the commercial.
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: Ross would not be yeah, because yeah, exactly. It's like,
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: you know, if you haven't seen the commercial, it's a
- 1:56:21Speaker 1: Clydesdale rate that raises an eagle that's falling, and you
- 1:56:25Speaker 1: can't even say, you can't even you're not even saying it,
- 1:56:27Speaker 1: and you're laughing. It's awesome. The eagle falls out of
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: the nest. The Clydesdale raises the eagle and eventually teaches
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: the eagle to fly. Because the eagle rides on its
- 1:56:36Speaker 1: back and the horse gets going, the eagle just sticks
- 1:56:39Speaker 1: its wings out, so the horse raises the eagle. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: it's it's unreal.
- 1:56:44Speaker 4: But what I loved when we disagreed about that live
- 1:56:47Speaker 4: on air was that we shattered each other's stereotypes. We
- 1:56:51Speaker 4: kind of did a little bit a little bit. It's
- 1:56:53Speaker 4: not like you drive a Prius now and I'm an
- 1:56:55Speaker 4: F one fifty.
- 1:56:57Speaker 1: I think that is the fast past ePass.
- 1:57:02Speaker 4: Quickest way of maybe helping some of the tension here
- 1:57:07Speaker 4: in the country is going out of your way if
- 1:57:10Speaker 4: you see an opportunity to break the stereotype.
- 1:57:13Speaker 1: We don't have to rattle them all off of each party.
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: I think you should. I think you should go out
- 1:57:20Speaker 1: of your way to make.
- 1:57:21Speaker 4: Sure that you're a little bit more complex of a person,
- 1:57:25Speaker 4: to remind people that, yeah, there's two parties, but there's
- 1:57:28Speaker 4: millions and millions of different feelings and thoughts between each one.
- 1:57:33Speaker 1: Of those parties.
- 1:57:34Speaker 4: So I thought it would be cool to kind of
- 1:57:37Speaker 4: go out of our way to break some of those stereotypes.
- 1:57:40Speaker 1: Great example, Jack, what are you uh for?
- 1:57:47Speaker 2: Basically a stereotype against being a liberal? Yeah, gun owner,
- 1:57:51Speaker 2: he's a gun owner. Yeah yeah.
- 1:57:53Speaker 1: Jack is strapped, Yeah yeah, Jack strapped. Jack's yeah, Jack's
- 1:57:57Speaker 1: bring that heat. Pew dude, He's put a toaster to you, kidney,
- 1:58:01Speaker 1: and he's got Paul Mitchell hair gel baby d like
- 1:58:06Speaker 1: it's and it's Jack.
- 1:58:08Speaker 2: He is a po Mitchell.
- 1:58:10Speaker 1: He is like a straight up pull Mitchell model. So like,
- 1:58:12Speaker 1: come to grips with that is that like people, I
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: just want to remind people that there are depths to
- 1:58:18Speaker 1: every single person. No matter how you vote or whoever
- 1:58:22Speaker 1: you believe in, there are still complexities. One of my
- 1:58:25Speaker 1: least favorite things that I feel like a lot of
- 1:58:27Speaker 1: my friends on the left have tried to convince me
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: of is that they try to like, oh man, you can't,
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: don't talk to them, don't talk to them.
- 1:58:34Speaker 4: I'd be damned if any hour of my life where
- 1:58:38Speaker 4: politics gets in the way of a conversation with another humanity.
- 1:58:44Speaker 4: And you know what, guess what it is probably my
- 1:58:46Speaker 4: biggest complaint on the left. Look at that breaking a
- 1:58:49Speaker 4: stereotype there. I think people on the left need to
- 1:58:52Speaker 4: talk to people on the right way more. And if
- 1:58:54Speaker 4: you're like, well, they should talk to us, not hold
- 1:58:56Speaker 4: the phone. Let's let's look back. We and I say
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: we like I'm in charge of them. But for the
- 1:59:03Speaker 4: most part, there has been a ridiculous amount of non
- 1:59:08Speaker 4: conversation that I have personally seen from people around my
- 1:59:13Speaker 4: age with these thoughts. Yeah, now I will break the
- 1:59:16Speaker 4: stereotype again.
- 1:59:17Speaker 1: Check this out. It's my turn to break the stereotype.
- 1:59:20Speaker 1: Buckle up, guys.
- 1:59:21Speaker 4: I think this country is actually the least racist country
- 1:59:25Speaker 4: on the planet. How's that you don't hear a lot
- 1:59:28Speaker 4: of people who enjoy cold brewce say that one right,
- 1:59:32Speaker 4: you don't hear that way?
- 1:59:34Speaker 1: That doesn't come out of the mouth of the protein latte.
- 1:59:36Speaker 1: I believe that we are the least racist country. And
- 1:59:41Speaker 1: here are all right, give me some metrics. Here, here's
- 1:59:44Speaker 1: I have no metrics, I have no data. Well, give
- 1:59:46Speaker 1: me away of the So how do I feel me?
- 1:59:49Speaker 1: Your feeling?
- 1:59:50Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it's because I'm using my eyes and I
- 1:59:53Speaker 4: look around, and I've done some mild research about this.
- 1:59:56Speaker 4: Is that I think that the USA is the only
- 1:59:59Speaker 4: first world old country that's even trying to tackle right racism.
- 2:00:04Speaker 4: People always look at like Scandinavian countries and they're like, oh,
- 2:00:08Speaker 4: it's this, it's this utopia.
- 2:00:10Speaker 1: They're right.
- 2:00:11Speaker 4: No diversity, guys. Yeah, and that's kind of by design.
- 2:00:15Speaker 4: They went ahead like, we're the only country that is
- 2:00:18Speaker 4: Florida has more diversity than I think any country on
- 2:00:22Speaker 4: this planet.
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: How about this? Looked it up.
- 2:00:24Speaker 4: Which country has the most interracial marriage? That would be
- 2:00:27Speaker 4: the US of A. Yeah, and people are forgetting that
- 2:00:32Speaker 4: we're the only country that's gonna have these growing pains.
- 2:00:35Speaker 1: At least that's how I look at it.
- 2:00:36Speaker 4: I think you are going to run into some drama
- 2:00:39Speaker 4: and some strife in between all these different cultures interacting
- 2:00:42Speaker 4: with each other. But show me a country that has
- 2:00:46Speaker 4: that amount of cultures interacting with each other.
- 2:00:49Speaker 1: Yeah, there's no profit unity though. That's the problem is
- 2:00:51Speaker 1: I think I think politicians are the ones that are
- 2:00:54Speaker 1: more scared than anybody that either right or left side
- 2:00:59Speaker 1: gets together and starts.
- 2:01:00Speaker 2: Kind of talking.
- 2:01:00Speaker 1: That's I think that would be the I think that's
- 2:01:02Speaker 1: a nightmare for politicians. It is. I think they make
- 2:01:05Speaker 1: their money and they keep their jobs because of the
- 2:01:07Speaker 1: separation of people, and they use those tactics to do that.
- 2:01:11Speaker 1: I think the scariest thing for politicians is unity between
- 2:01:14Speaker 1: the parties. It is a very hard.
- 2:01:17Speaker 4: Time to be on the left and be as patriotic
- 2:01:20Speaker 4: as I am day in day out, which is crazy.
- 2:01:23Speaker 1: I mean, is that really an overwhelming theory on the left,
- 2:01:26Speaker 1: that that they don't love the country, or that because
- 2:01:29Speaker 1: they don't drek themselves in the flag and kid rock albums,
- 2:01:32Speaker 1: that they don't like the country. I mean, that's it's
- 2:01:33Speaker 1: hard to look and be perceived as supportive if you're
- 2:01:38Speaker 1: only criticizing. Yeah, I see what you're saying.
- 2:01:40Speaker 4: Is and on the flip side, it's hard to think
- 2:01:43Speaker 4: that there's any critical thought when there's only support right
- 2:01:46Speaker 4: right right now, I think that feels like it was
- 2:01:49Speaker 4: made by design. There's no way it's there has to
- 2:01:53Speaker 4: be some level of influence of keeping those two foundations
- 2:01:58Speaker 4: as the same. One side is yelling, going fix this,
- 2:02:01Speaker 4: the other side is going, we support it, and then
- 2:02:05Speaker 4: we take turns on doing that. And I think it's
- 2:02:08Speaker 4: super important that if you are listening to this and
- 2:02:11Speaker 4: you see one opportunity to shatter, you know, the stereotypical
- 2:02:16Speaker 4: five star perception of probably of your party. If you can,
- 2:02:21Speaker 4: if you're on the right, respect the hybrid, if you can,
- 2:02:26Speaker 4: if you're on the left, understand that diesel is awesome.
- 2:02:29Speaker 1: Yeah, if you can.
- 2:02:31Speaker 4: I'm not saying be someone that you're not, but I
- 2:02:34Speaker 4: think there's a lot of times where people go, I'm
- 2:02:37Speaker 4: not going to express this publicly or be out loud
- 2:02:40Speaker 4: with it because it's not going to match with everybody.
- 2:02:45Speaker 1: Else in the room. What is yours deb That's a
- 2:02:47Speaker 1: good question. Is there some what's something that breaks the
- 2:02:49Speaker 1: stereotype for what people would think that you where you
- 2:02:52Speaker 1: lean politically, because jack having a jack being a gun
- 2:02:56Speaker 1: owner is a good one, I guess being pro law enforcement. Yeah,
- 2:03:00Speaker 1: there you go. Yeah, I I you know, I always
- 2:03:03Speaker 1: like this. I like this, going don't mind gay marriage.
- 2:03:08Speaker 1: It doesn't bother me in the least. I think everybody
- 2:03:10Speaker 1: should be able to love each other, and it's just
- 2:03:12Speaker 1: I got no problem with that whatsoever. It makes the
- 2:03:14Speaker 1: It makes a country a better place. You know, when
- 2:03:16Speaker 1: people are in love and stuff.
- 2:03:17Speaker 4: It's better if you love a turtleneck and you're rocking
- 2:03:20Speaker 4: a beanie and you are just as hipstery as it
- 2:03:23Speaker 4: can get. Go ahead and find a country song, find
- 2:03:28Speaker 4: a talking point, something that just reminds everybody else of
- 2:03:32Speaker 4: the complexities of being a human being. I absolutely loved
- 2:03:36Speaker 4: that commercial, and I absolutely loved it more knowing that
- 2:03:39Speaker 4: you didn't, because it was just such a stark reminder
- 2:03:42Speaker 4: of like, you just cannot judge. We're being told to judge,
- 2:03:46Speaker 4: we're being told to assume. But when you put two
- 2:03:49Speaker 4: people in a room that can tell stories and share
- 2:03:51Speaker 4: each other's experiences, you're gonna find out that it's not
- 2:03:55Speaker 4: the same.
- 2:03:55Speaker 1: Twelve thoughts. I wish they would have superimposed Lee Greenwood's
- 2:03:59Speaker 1: face on the eagle. Yeah, that's what I wish.
- 2:04:03Speaker 4: See, that's where we disagree. I thought the eagle was
- 2:04:05Speaker 4: completely fine. See it's possible.
- 2:04:07Speaker 1: I think it's also just really important friendly reminders that
- 2:04:10Speaker 1: you have a bunch of different political views right here,
- 2:04:13Speaker 1: not just on the station, but I'll even say specifically
- 2:04:16Speaker 1: on the Jim Colbert Show, we are walking smoking gun
- 2:04:20Speaker 1: evidence that it is possible for people to get along
- 2:04:24Speaker 1: with different thoughts. Yeah, because I think we're all separate,
- 2:04:26Speaker 1: aren't we. I'm a Republican debsit independent. Jack is a Democrat,
- 2:04:30Speaker 1: and you are.
- 2:04:31Speaker 2: I'm not registered.
- 2:04:32Speaker 1: Oh you're not. I thought you were.
- 2:04:33Speaker 2: I told you not to assume.
- 2:04:34Speaker 1: Oh I'm sorry. I thought Jack was a registered Democrat.
- 2:04:36Speaker 5: My apologies, party Philly. Oh that's right, because independent that
- 2:04:43Speaker 5: is a party, and I just got you.
- 2:04:44Speaker 1: And I still get.
- 2:04:45Speaker 4: Pissed off at close primaries, which is why I'm still
- 2:04:47Speaker 4: registered as a Democrat.
- 2:04:49Speaker 1: But look at that. It's beautiful. That's a beautiful thing.
- 2:04:53Speaker 4: So if you find an opportunity to break that perception
- 2:04:57Speaker 4: that you know that is assumed, you should. I think
- 2:05:01Speaker 4: it is the best way to maybe put a band
- 2:05:03Speaker 4: aid and maybe even give some therapy to us collectively
- 2:05:07Speaker 4: as a country.
- 2:05:08Speaker 1: Those are your ross thoughts. I'm out peace, all right?
- 2:05:11Speaker 1: Borrow seven nine one six one of four to one
- 2:05:14Speaker 1: text us at seven to seven zero three one. Don't
- 2:05:15Speaker 1: forget your six o'clock heyword his friend that's fri e
- 2:05:18Speaker 1: ND go to real Radio dot FM and send that
- 2:05:21Speaker 1: away for your chance at one thousand dollars. Did you
- 2:05:24Speaker 1: guys ever wonder which chain restaurants donate the food they
- 2:05:28Speaker 1: have left over? Yeah, and I tell you I do.
- 2:05:30Speaker 1: I saw something happen the other night when I was
- 2:05:32Speaker 1: This is a couple of weeks ago. I went into
- 2:05:35Speaker 1: the grocery store that I shot at to get a
- 2:05:38Speaker 1: sub because my wife didn't want to cook and we
- 2:05:40Speaker 1: it was like the weekend or something, so I popped
- 2:05:42Speaker 1: in there, I grabbed a sub, and I was as
- 2:05:44Speaker 1: I was grabbing my sub, they were prepping the hot
- 2:05:47Speaker 1: bar to be you know, be taken down.
- 2:05:51Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:05:51Speaker 1: They were throwing away full containers of like green beans,
- 2:05:56Speaker 1: roasted potatoes, roasted poor they were. They would weigh it,
- 2:06:01Speaker 1: they would they would write it down in a in
- 2:06:03Speaker 1: a log, and then they would just throw it in
- 2:06:05Speaker 1: the trash can. And that may be so sad because
- 2:06:07Speaker 1: there's so many people out there that need food, need
- 2:06:09Speaker 1: something to eat, and you would think that there would
- 2:06:12Speaker 1: be programs where people could donate their food and it
- 2:06:14Speaker 1: could make it to you know, needy, needy people in
- 2:06:18Speaker 1: there in those cities or those areas, and there are
- 2:06:20Speaker 1: chain restaurants to do that, and we kind of talk
- 2:06:22Speaker 1: about those next.
- 2:06:39Speaker 2: Hey, cross their fingers on playing these blind that's stupid.
- 2:06:43Speaker 14: Hey, they're EJ from Disney's imagineering. So Disney used to
- 2:06:47Speaker 14: donate food to Second Harvest all the time.
- 2:06:49Speaker 12: It's a homeless.
- 2:06:50Speaker 11: Sholtis constantly with fooding throw away.
- 2:06:52Speaker 14: But they got sued really badly a while back, and
- 2:06:54Speaker 14: so Disney doesn't donate any unopened food anymore, sorry, any
- 2:06:59Speaker 14: open food anymore.
- 2:07:00Speaker 11: They don't done it anymore.
- 2:07:01Speaker 1: They'll they only.
- 2:07:02Speaker 14: Donate sealed packages that says anything it's been prepped food
- 2:07:05Speaker 14: or anything like that that's made.
- 2:07:07Speaker 2: They cannot do anymore.
- 2:07:08Speaker 11: They've been so sued.
- 2:07:09Speaker 1: Unfortunately, it sucks that a lot of people can use it.
- 2:07:11Speaker 1: Have a great day, thanks, Weddy.
- 2:07:13Speaker 16: I just heard the last part of your comments about
- 2:07:16Speaker 16: restaurants growing food away.
- 2:07:19Speaker 1: The same thing happens with the company I work for.
- 2:07:22Speaker 16: But if we were to donate it and someone were
- 2:07:26Speaker 16: to get sick, that's a big food poisoning lawsuit waiting
- 2:07:29Speaker 16: to happen.
- 2:07:29Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it's a shame, is it?
- 2:07:33Speaker 5: It is that we're so litigious that we can't end
- 2:07:35Speaker 5: up helping those who are food insecure.
- 2:07:40Speaker 4: I think there should be a lot if it's free. Yeah,
- 2:07:43Speaker 4: food illness is like a.
- 2:07:46Speaker 1: Ramp of like as is, you get at your own risk.
- 2:07:49Speaker 1: It's the disclaw if you.
- 2:07:50Speaker 4: Put some weird EG four ten or something on the
- 2:07:54Speaker 4: side of a bag piece of soup bag soup. Yeah,
- 2:07:58Speaker 4: I still think warning, hey, this is leftovers.
- 2:08:03Speaker 1: Well, I think maybe if you wanted to nix the
- 2:08:06Speaker 1: idea of that and have that work, I think there.
- 2:08:09Speaker 1: You know, if let's say it's second harvest or whomever
- 2:08:11Speaker 1: the food bank may be, maybe they just find a
- 2:08:14Speaker 1: way to transport that food into a pickup so it
- 2:08:17Speaker 1: goes to the facility and maintains its heat until it's
- 2:08:20Speaker 1: stored properly. You know, maybe maybe that's something that could happen,
- 2:08:24Speaker 1: or maybe that's a secondary or third party business that
- 2:08:27Speaker 1: could happen where it goes around and goes to restaurants
- 2:08:29Speaker 1: that are going to discard that food, picks that food up,
- 2:08:31Speaker 1: and then it takes it to the food banks and
- 2:08:33Speaker 1: keeps it at those safe temperatures until it needs to
- 2:08:35Speaker 1: be taken care of. I mean, who knows. I'm Jim.
- 2:08:39Speaker 1: There's death Hello Jack, Yeah, Ross is here as well.
- 2:08:42Speaker 1: Just make sure you eat your food. Yeah, yeah, don't forget.
- 2:08:45Speaker 1: Tomorrow at three o'clock we will go on sale with
- 2:08:47Speaker 1: our Bourbon Bus tickets. It's one hundred dollars plus whether
- 2:08:50Speaker 1: or the service feedback think it's like five six bucks
- 2:08:52Speaker 1: something like that.
- 2:08:53Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 2:08:53Speaker 1: And not only are you going to get lunch, we're
- 2:08:55Speaker 1: going to three spots Forward Slash, Corona Cigar, and Johnny's
- 2:08:59Speaker 1: other Side. Each of those stops will have a tasting
- 2:09:02Speaker 1: of bourbons and some other surprises and gifts as well,
- 2:09:07Speaker 1: and we will provide lunch as well. So it's gonna
- 2:09:09Speaker 1: be a good time. Myself, Jack and Ross will be there,
- 2:09:11Speaker 1: and maybe some other guests as well, some other noted celebrities,
- 2:09:15Speaker 1: some other people who are on the show. It's Maxwell,
- 2:09:21Speaker 1: that's who it is. It's Maxwell, and it's his birthday
- 2:09:24Speaker 1: that day. Well, I gotta find out if that's gonna
- 2:09:26Speaker 1: throw a wrench in the machine. That's the only that's
- 2:09:28Speaker 1: the only question is the date. I think he wants
- 2:09:30Speaker 1: to go if he's free. He told me he would.
- 2:09:32Speaker 1: I mean, anytime they gotta get a free sip of bourbon.
- 2:09:34Speaker 1: He's gonna do it, all right, So we were talking
- 2:09:38Speaker 1: about this food thing. It is, you know, it is
- 2:09:40Speaker 1: kind of wild. We know that that's one of the
- 2:09:41Speaker 1: big sticking points, or if not the sticking point. I've
- 2:09:43Speaker 1: talked to Greg Higgerson before at Second Harvest Food Bank
- 2:09:47Speaker 1: about this very thing, about how they have to be
- 2:09:49Speaker 1: very careful because you know, it is a litigious society
- 2:09:52Speaker 1: and even though you're donating food and people are getting
- 2:09:54Speaker 1: free food, if someone does become ill because of that, unfortunately,
- 2:09:58Speaker 1: you know, it's gonna make somebody take a shot, and
- 2:10:02Speaker 1: that sucks. But it does happen. We can do we
- 2:10:05Speaker 1: can change that, right, Yeah, I don't know, it's like
- 2:10:07Speaker 1: a law.
- 2:10:09Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:10:09Speaker 1: It is kind of weird though, and someone dies, it's
- 2:10:12Speaker 1: it seems like it's always been. It's always been weird.
- 2:10:14Speaker 1: The theory of you trying to help somebody and and
- 2:10:17Speaker 1: out of the goodness of your heart you're helping them,
- 2:10:19Speaker 1: something happens and then you wind up getting sued and
- 2:10:22Speaker 1: it wind up costing you thousands of dollars or maybe
- 2:10:24Speaker 1: an injury or something. And then the other person that's
- 2:10:27Speaker 1: they get they get the favor and then and then
- 2:10:29Speaker 1: your money as well. That sucks.
- 2:10:30Speaker 4: Biggest pet peeve I think with existence in life as
- 2:10:34Speaker 4: a whole is exactly that. Trying to help somebody and
- 2:10:37Speaker 4: then it ends up hurting. It is the worst experience.
- 2:10:43Speaker 4: Hey I got you this, and then it just like
- 2:10:46Speaker 4: brings a bunch of different problems.
- 2:10:48Speaker 1: Why they say, no good deed goes on, right, Yes,
- 2:10:50Speaker 1: that's right, you know. And a couple of these companies,
- 2:10:52Speaker 1: we'll go over a couple of these. Shakeshack is one. Now,
- 2:10:54Speaker 1: shake check doesn't give like food away, but what they
- 2:10:56Speaker 1: do is they work with national Food Assistants organizations to
- 2:10:59Speaker 1: supply thousands of meals made from excess ingredients to face hunger.
- 2:11:04Speaker 1: In other words, if they have food left over as
- 2:11:06Speaker 1: they're making burgers, whatever, they will take that excess ground beef,
- 2:11:09Speaker 1: they will turn it into some kind of food and
- 2:11:11Speaker 1: then they will donate it that way. That's what they do.
- 2:11:15Speaker 1: And the other thing too is like you know, and
- 2:11:18Speaker 1: you know, I think the idea of having somebody pick
- 2:11:20Speaker 1: it up isn't a terrible idea because if the let's
- 2:11:22Speaker 1: say the vendor was Publix, right erwind Dixie or whomever.
- 2:11:24Speaker 1: I'm not picking on publics, and they you know, they
- 2:11:27Speaker 1: were going to cash out their their hot bar at
- 2:11:29Speaker 1: the end of the night, you know, and nothing's great.
- 2:11:31Speaker 1: It has everything from pork and ribs to green beans,
- 2:11:34Speaker 1: mashed potatoes, sometimes sweet potatoes, whatever. And then at the
- 2:11:37Speaker 1: end of the night they don't save that and then
- 2:11:40Speaker 1: reheat it the next day, that just gets thrown out.
- 2:11:42Speaker 1: If they were able to freeze that, you know, in
- 2:11:45Speaker 1: one of their freezers and then and then a day
- 2:11:47Speaker 1: later donate it to the to the Second Harvest Food
- 2:11:51Speaker 1: Bank or whomever, that would probably work. But again you
- 2:11:53Speaker 1: would have to have somebody transport that for you into
- 2:11:56Speaker 1: a refrigerated vehicle so it stays safe.
- 2:11:58Speaker 4: So the best answered to this question that I have
- 2:12:02Speaker 4: ever got, and I have used this app a couple
- 2:12:04Speaker 4: of times. I things some Texters have already brought it up.
- 2:12:06Speaker 4: It's called Too Good to Go. Have you heard of
- 2:12:09Speaker 4: Too Good to Go?
- 2:12:10Speaker 1: No, someone's mentioned it before. Is that that app? Yeah?
- 2:12:13Speaker 1: Somebody just text about something like that. It's amazing. Okay,
- 2:12:16Speaker 1: so tell me what that is. So example, I used
- 2:12:20Speaker 1: it for Jess Bagel run.
- 2:12:22Speaker 4: Okay, Right, so you go on the app and you
- 2:12:24Speaker 4: see whatever deals you're talking about leftovers, you're talking about
- 2:12:28Speaker 4: food that they did not sell.
- 2:12:31Speaker 1: It's a little old, but we're still going to sell
- 2:12:33Speaker 1: it to you.
- 2:12:33Speaker 4: Eighty percent off, really sixty percent off, seventy percent off,
- 2:12:37Speaker 4: like massive price changes for their regular food that they
- 2:12:43Speaker 4: end up taking a loss on the profit.
- 2:12:45Speaker 1: But a little bit less loss, right, right, or it
- 2:12:47Speaker 1: pays for it at least. Too good to go, Too
- 2:12:49Speaker 1: good to go. I want to check that out. That's
- 2:12:51Speaker 1: really cool. They have some really amazing deals and it's
- 2:12:54Speaker 1: just like a day old. It's funny, you know. And
- 2:12:56Speaker 1: I was just talking to JACKI yesterday about this about
- 2:12:59Speaker 1: about how the people who have Costco cards and Sam's
- 2:13:02Speaker 1: cards probably do not use them to their full extent, right,
- 2:13:06Speaker 1: so they're full capabilities, because you know, you just go
- 2:13:08Speaker 1: in there, you get your cheap or your cheap food
- 2:13:10Speaker 1: or your bulk items, and you go out, you know,
- 2:13:12Speaker 1: not understanding how many other things are offered. I saw
- 2:13:15Speaker 1: another one today, Jack that apparently if you go to
- 2:13:18Speaker 1: Costco or any of the box stores they said Costco specifically,
- 2:13:21Speaker 1: and you walk up and you ask, hey, do you
- 2:13:24Speaker 1: have any food that's almost out of date or whatever
- 2:13:26Speaker 1: or they call it, there's a name they use for it.
- 2:13:29Speaker 1: Let's say you're going to go buy some steak. And
- 2:13:31Speaker 1: the steaks have to be sold in the store the
- 2:13:33Speaker 1: next day. They're perfectly fine, but the FDA says they
- 2:13:36Speaker 1: got to go that they will not only wrap that
- 2:13:38Speaker 1: up for you, they'll freeze that for you and sell
- 2:13:41Speaker 1: it to you for sixty to eighty percent off. That
- 2:13:45Speaker 1: they will do that at the big box stores.
- 2:13:48Speaker 16: I like it.
- 2:13:49Speaker 1: I did not know that. Just walk in and you go.
- 2:13:50Speaker 1: What does it called? Give me the sketchy meats. Chipotle's
- 2:13:57Speaker 1: Harvest program, edible food is donated to local charities and
- 2:13:59Speaker 1: distribute centers to prevent it from going to waste. In
- 2:14:02Speaker 1: twenty twenty four, the company donated a whopping four hundred
- 2:14:05Speaker 1: five pounds of fresh foods through that initiative. Chick fil as,
- 2:14:09Speaker 1: you might imagine, does a little something as well. They
- 2:14:13Speaker 1: twenty five hundred locations take part in a Shared Table program,
- 2:14:17Speaker 1: which has served over forty two million meals since it launched,
- 2:14:21Speaker 1: and the concept is restaurant's package surplus food such as biscuits,
- 2:14:25Speaker 1: Chick fil A nuggets, and prepared items. Nonprofits and organization
- 2:14:29Speaker 1: schedule a time to pick up that donated food, which
- 2:14:32Speaker 1: is awesome. Yeah, they don't throw it out. I mean,
- 2:14:35Speaker 1: you know, again, even like at a fast food place.
- 2:14:38Speaker 1: You know they're making that stuff in advance to take
- 2:14:40Speaker 1: care of the rush, and they don't have to wait
- 2:14:42Speaker 1: as they cook it. And at the end of the
- 2:14:43Speaker 1: night there have to be what eight, ten, twelve sandwiches, fries,
- 2:14:47Speaker 1: whatever the case by be left over. I'm sure the
- 2:14:49Speaker 1: employees grab that up.
- 2:14:50Speaker 2: Yep.
- 2:14:52Speaker 4: Wow, Who do you think is the leading you know,
- 2:14:57Speaker 4: leading on the list of biggest country food waster?
- 2:15:01Speaker 11: Oh?
- 2:15:01Speaker 1: Really, who's that it is? It's gotta be buffets of
- 2:15:04Speaker 1: some sort, right, like a Golden growl or something. No, No,
- 2:15:06Speaker 1: not restaurant country. Oh what country?
- 2:15:10Speaker 4: What country has the most wasted food in total volume
- 2:15:15Speaker 4: each year?
- 2:15:15Speaker 1: The USA? It is not France, It is not India.
- 2:15:20Speaker 4: It is China, close to India Indonesia India is second,
- 2:15:26Speaker 4: China is number one.
- 2:15:27Speaker 2: What I know?
- 2:15:29Speaker 1: That's why I was kind of shocked. Don't they know
- 2:15:32Speaker 1: that their food make you're hungry and two hours later
- 2:15:34Speaker 1: you're gonna eat it.
- 2:15:36Speaker 3: Don't they know?
- 2:15:37Speaker 1: How does it ever go to waste? So you're hungry
- 2:15:39Speaker 1: two hours later.
- 2:15:40Speaker 2: It hasn't gotten bad yet, you can continue to eat it.
- 2:15:44Speaker 1: As kids, they tell us that people starting to eat
- 2:15:46Speaker 1: your food exactly.
- 2:15:49Speaker 2: They're starting because they're not eating room.
- 2:15:51Speaker 1: They even lying. It's the entire time branch all that.
- 2:15:53Speaker 1: You're right, there are no starving people in China are throwunder.
- 2:15:56Speaker 16: For it away?
- 2:15:56Speaker 1: No, of course in the huge population is that.
- 2:15:59Speaker 4: I would think that big reason why China and India
- 2:16:02Speaker 4: have the most oh my god, one hundred and nine
- 2:16:05Speaker 4: million tons of food waste annually in China.
- 2:16:08Speaker 1: That's gross. Yeah, seventy eight million for India.
- 2:16:13Speaker 2: Damn man.
- 2:16:14Speaker 1: And where are we on that list? We are up there.
- 2:16:16Speaker 4: It's gonna be the top ten, and we might be
- 2:16:18Speaker 4: the most per capita. I'm not gonna lie.
- 2:16:20Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, top ten, Yeah, yeah, we are. We're tied
- 2:16:24Speaker 1: with with like Nigeria. It says here that also Starbucks
- 2:16:28Speaker 1: equips one hundred percent of company operated stores in the
- 2:16:31Speaker 1: US and Canada to donate eligible unsold food rather than
- 2:16:35Speaker 1: sending it to landfills. Oh that's awesome. Starbucks chips in
- 2:16:38Speaker 1: there as well, and their stuff is doable because it's
- 2:16:40Speaker 1: packed up and package. Then they put in that air
- 2:16:43Speaker 1: fryer thing, that super air frer thing they have, So
- 2:16:46Speaker 1: theoretically that would work. I mean if they had leftover,
- 2:16:48Speaker 1: like croissants or breakfast sandwiches. They could easily donate those
- 2:16:51Speaker 1: and they would still stay fresh. I think Cheesecake Factory
- 2:16:54Speaker 1: does it as well. Two hundred and fifty dishes on
- 2:16:58Speaker 1: that on that menu, by the way, Yeah, it is
- 2:17:01Speaker 1: like a thirty page menu. You're you're the big foodie guy.
- 2:17:06Speaker 4: Do you believe in the theory of like there's a
- 2:17:08Speaker 4: sweet spot of too many entrees and then it loses
- 2:17:10Speaker 4: quality on the entrees themselves.
- 2:17:13Speaker 1: And look, I have nothing against Cheesecake Factory, but I
- 2:17:15Speaker 1: won't eat there for that very reason. And my whole
- 2:17:17Speaker 1: thing is this. Wait, I'll give you an example. So
- 2:17:19Speaker 1: we're going to a restaurant in Mount Door on Valentine's
- 2:17:22Speaker 1: Day called the Goblin Market. It is a legendary restaurant
- 2:17:25Speaker 1: in Mount Door, but it's actually legendary in all of Orlando.
- 2:17:29Speaker 1: And when you go in there early with the menu,
- 2:17:30Speaker 1: I think they have, you know, maybe twenty five items.
- 2:17:33Speaker 2: I and I and you.
- 2:17:35Speaker 1: Here's what I know. Every single restaurant I've eaten that
- 2:17:38Speaker 1: where the menu is small, the food is always spectacular
- 2:17:42Speaker 1: because they focus on those few items and they've perfected
- 2:17:45Speaker 1: those items. When you go to a place that has.
- 2:17:48Speaker 1: You know, you know, a lot of Mexican restaurants are
- 2:17:50Speaker 1: really you know, guilty of this because it's the same
- 2:17:52Speaker 1: five ingredients, you know. Yeah, it's your entire joke. So
- 2:17:55Speaker 1: their menu will have one hundred and fifty items and
- 2:17:57Speaker 1: it's all just a mix and match of those others
- 2:18:00Speaker 1: you want, you want a fried shape on a different
- 2:18:02Speaker 1: non fried shape. You can make this shape right, exactly
- 2:18:05Speaker 1: what it is. It's the same stuff over and over.
- 2:18:08Speaker 1: But usually the smaller the menu, the better of the restaurant.
- 2:18:10Speaker 11: Dude.
- 2:18:11Speaker 1: Yeah, all the nice restaurants.
- 2:18:12Speaker 4: Right when you go to one page and it's always
- 2:18:15Speaker 4: a weird cut, Yeah, it's a weird cut of paper,
- 2:18:18Speaker 4: like it's like this, it's not the eight x twelve
- 2:18:20Speaker 4: that's standard.
- 2:18:21Speaker 1: If you know, if you really know, like the place
- 2:18:23Speaker 1: called the Oh my God, that place I love up
- 2:18:27Speaker 1: in the strand, Yeah, when you go to their place,
- 2:18:29Speaker 1: it is a copy. It's a piece of copy paper.
- 2:18:33Speaker 1: That mean, it looks okay. But the reason why is
- 2:18:35Speaker 1: is that menu can change every other day based on
- 2:18:37Speaker 1: ingredients they get in, so they have they can't print
- 2:18:40Speaker 1: fancy menus because that menu is changing seasonally. That's another
- 2:18:43Speaker 1: good sign that you're gonna get a great meal. Is
- 2:18:45Speaker 1: if the menu is kind of you're like, well, they
- 2:18:47Speaker 1: made it that day. It's not cheap. It's the fact
- 2:18:49Speaker 1: that that menu is changing because you know they're using
- 2:18:51Speaker 1: fresh ingredients usually that's what that means.
- 2:18:54Speaker 4: Also, found out the food waste per capita. We are
- 2:18:57Speaker 4: up there according to my sources. Hey, that's still Nigeria,
- 2:19:01Speaker 4: Rwanda and Greece Rwanda waste food.
- 2:19:05Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh they were trivia this week yesterday.
- 2:19:08Speaker 3: Yeah, look at that.
- 2:19:10Speaker 1: Yeah right back, all right four oh seven nine one
- 2:19:14Speaker 1: six one o four one. You can always text us
- 2:19:16Speaker 1: seven seven zero three one. Deb you got some news.

- 2:19:21Speaker 5: to avoid a partial government shutdown. Closer to home, and
- 2:19:24Speaker 5: Olympic track star is arrested for super speeding. Really, and
- 2:19:30Speaker 5: the Library of Congress chooses twenty five new film Registry entries.
- 2:19:34Speaker 1: We'll talk about all of that next during You heard
- 2:19:36Speaker 1: it here first, you got it all right, don't forget
- 2:19:37Speaker 1: your six o'clock he word his friend that's frie Nd.

- 2:19:45Speaker 1: hell out of here. On Thursday, our.

- 2:20:05Speaker 2: kick off their weekend right. Hopefully you join them for
- 2:20:09Speaker 2: that and don't forget thirteen more chances to win one
- 2:20:11Speaker 2: thousand dollars starts at nine am. When it comes time
- 2:20:14Speaker 2: to look ahead for your well being and that of
- 2:20:17Speaker 2: you and your family. And in the world of family law,
- 2:20:20Speaker 2: the place to go is TK law. Do you find
- 2:20:24Speaker 2: them online at one firm for life dot com?
- 2:20:35Speaker 1: Hey, how's it all there?
- 2:20:37Speaker 17: He is, Yeah, I've spent a lot of time in
- 2:20:39Speaker 17: Trinidad and Tobago surfing growing up.
- 2:20:41Speaker 11: Before and after Hawaii.
- 2:20:43Speaker 17: We used to get broadcasts from a station out of
- 2:20:46Speaker 17: Grenada Radio Grenada, and they had a group of women
- 2:20:48Speaker 17: on doing a show about penis size one day, and
- 2:20:52Speaker 17: it was so funny to listen to them in a
- 2:20:54Speaker 17: Cabbyan dialect. Some didn't like it big one woman said,
- 2:20:59Speaker 17: not me, girl, I want it along like the road.
- 2:21:02Speaker 1: Oh my god, almighty, Hello, how brunner Jack?
- 2:21:06Speaker 14: Thanks for reminding me of my favorite early two thousands band,
- 2:21:09Speaker 14: Elizabeth Long Hair and the Frecklers.
- 2:21:12Speaker 1: That's fantastic. Oh man, that's a throwback.
- 2:21:15Speaker 3: Hey jive James, what's up?
- 2:21:16Speaker 1: Buddy?
- 2:21:17Speaker 9: Actually was out in the field one day one night
- 2:21:20Speaker 9: picking mushrooms with my buddy.
- 2:21:23Speaker 2: We heard that classic sound. Oh no, we've been found out.
- 2:21:29Speaker 9: Not the exact words ye went through and but we
- 2:21:32Speaker 9: started running with.
- 2:21:34Speaker 2: Trash bags full of caps. He he ended up getting
- 2:21:37Speaker 2: shot in the butt with rock salt. Yeah.
- 2:21:39Speaker 3: Man, from what he screamed like, it's bad.
- 2:21:42Speaker 6: Not good.
- 2:21:44Speaker 14: Me.
- 2:21:45Speaker 1: It breaks that skin and stay there. It's on the
- 2:21:47Speaker 1: wound scenario. Welcome back to the Jim Colper show 'al
- 2:21:50Speaker 1: Radio one O four point one. I'm Jim. There's deb
- 2:21:53Speaker 1: Jack is here as well. Yeah, along with the Ross. Yeah,
- 2:21:57Speaker 1: I just heard you plug the ones and twos with
- 2:21:59Speaker 1: the Angel. That's like my That was one of my
- 2:22:02Speaker 1: favorite bits when I was on the Monsters. I love
- 2:22:04Speaker 1: the ones and twos. It's when Angel goes around to
- 2:22:08Speaker 1: all the different genres of music and tells you the
- 2:22:10Speaker 1: number one and number two song in that genre. Whether
- 2:22:12Speaker 1: it be rock, hip hop, country, whatever, and I loved
- 2:22:15Speaker 1: it because his taste in music is exceptionally good. And
- 2:22:19Speaker 1: also he does it by download. He does what's actually
- 2:22:22Speaker 1: popular and not what's on like some billboard right, and
- 2:22:25Speaker 1: Angel knows a lot.
- 2:22:26Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:22:26Speaker 1: I think a lot of people just automatically assume Angel
- 2:22:28Speaker 1: likes just you know, hip hop, R and be and
- 2:22:30Speaker 1: things of that, but that's not the case at all.
- 2:22:32Speaker 1: He really has a great appreciation. Matter of fact, when
- 2:22:34Speaker 1: I find a new band, he and like, he's like
- 2:22:36Speaker 1: one of the first people I text when I because
- 2:22:39Speaker 1: I want to see if he's heard of him. Like
- 2:22:40Speaker 1: when I heard about wet Leg, I immediately text Angel, man,
- 2:22:43Speaker 1: have you heard about wet Leg? And he'll he'll hit
- 2:22:45Speaker 1: me up, hey man, have you heard about this band?
- 2:22:47Speaker 1: And I also have a little of that with Dan
- 2:22:48Speaker 1: Stone as well, the voice of our station. He also
- 2:22:51Speaker 1: has unbelievably good taste in music.
- 2:22:53Speaker 4: You know, it's the fastest way for me not to
- 2:22:55Speaker 4: like you if I hear somebody go God, they just
- 2:22:57Speaker 4: don't make any good music these days.
- 2:22:59Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it's like you ain't trying, dude, and there's
- 2:23:02Speaker 1: a lot of good music. You're just lapping up what
- 2:23:04Speaker 1: it's ever given to you. Go search there was a
- 2:23:06Speaker 1: starving artist waiting for your years now, I'll tell you this.
- 2:23:09Speaker 1: There were like periods of time, three or four or
- 2:23:12Speaker 1: five year swaths of time. What I would say, there
- 2:23:15Speaker 1: wasn't a lot of good music out there. But man,
- 2:23:16Speaker 1: right now, especially with independent artists, Man, you're finding people
- 2:23:21Speaker 1: online that you would have never heard of in a
- 2:23:23Speaker 1: million years, dude, and these people are unbelievably talented. There's
- 2:23:27Speaker 1: a girl out there named Kel's right now k e
- 2:23:29Speaker 1: Ls who's like crushing it on Instagram. Real soulful, kind
- 2:23:33Speaker 1: of like a like like like R and B trailer trash.
- 2:23:37Speaker 1: It's very cool.
- 2:23:38Speaker 4: I would say, like once every couple of weeks, I
- 2:23:40Speaker 4: just I get proactive for trying to find a new band.
- 2:23:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:23:44Speaker 4: Yeah, And you can do that because of the day
- 2:23:46Speaker 4: that we're living in with the Internet and Spotify and
- 2:23:49Speaker 4: tiny desk concerts, like there's.
- 2:23:50Speaker 1: Just that's soother many ways to find new bands. Have
- 2:23:53Speaker 1: you heard of Girl Tones?
- 2:23:54Speaker 10: No?
- 2:23:54Speaker 1: Yeah? Girl Tones is like a like a white Stripes
- 2:23:57Speaker 1: band with it. I think it's just a guitar player
- 2:23:59Speaker 1: and a drummer and there are two girls and it's
- 2:24:01Speaker 1: kind of like kind of like pop punk, a little
- 2:24:04Speaker 1: wet leggish, but it's all also really good. Dude. My
- 2:24:08Speaker 1: new favorite like performer.
- 2:24:10Speaker 4: Her name is Sophia is Isazella one of deb deb Oh.
- 2:24:17Speaker 1: Lord you ready to be aw Man? Your slack frock
- 2:24:22Speaker 1: so good.
- 2:24:22Speaker 4: And it's so emotional and dramatic, and the lyrics some
- 2:24:26Speaker 4: of the best songwriting I've ever heard.
- 2:24:28Speaker 1: I will check, I will make sure you know about Sophie. Yeah,
- 2:24:30Speaker 1: but DEB only listens to like hardcore B side, hip
- 2:24:34Speaker 1: hop or tool deb. No, no, no, I'm saying you're
- 2:24:38Speaker 1: your your bookends of music are very interesting to me. Yeah.
- 2:24:42Speaker 5: I let's just put it this way. I never put
- 2:24:44Speaker 5: my music on in the car when I'm writing with
- 2:24:46Speaker 5: somebody else.
- 2:24:47Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 2:24:48Speaker 2: Alex who climbed the skyscraper?
- 2:24:52Speaker 1: Honld?
- 2:24:53Speaker 2: Yeah, Honld the skyscraper And where was it TYPEI thank
- 2:24:57Speaker 2: you type one on one in the.
- 2:24:59Speaker 1: Building, Yeah, something like that.
- 2:25:01Speaker 3: Whole time he was listening to Tool.
- 2:25:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I read that as well. I don't I
- 2:25:05Speaker 1: don't know how I didn't know how true it was.
- 2:25:06Speaker 1: But then I read another excerpt up today on Alex
- 2:25:10Speaker 1: Hanoald who who climbed and he was listening to the
- 2:25:12Speaker 1: tool the entire time.
- 2:25:12Speaker 2: I watched the whole thing. But and it's fun because
- 2:25:15Speaker 2: when he got like a different parts he was in
- 2:25:18Speaker 2: talking with the you know the broadcast, right yeah, and
- 2:25:22Speaker 2: he got to the top and he stood on that dome.
- 2:25:24Speaker 1: It's like, you're dummy, and we could you imagine get
- 2:25:25Speaker 1: him to Oh.
- 2:25:26Speaker 4: Yeah, Sophia Icella, I just wanted to pronounce that artist's name.
- 2:25:31Speaker 1: Unreal. Yeah, sweet, all right, don't get tomorrow a three
- 2:25:34Speaker 1: o'clock we start selling Bourbon bus tickets, so have your
- 2:25:36Speaker 1: money ready to go. We only have like forty five,

- 2:25:40Speaker 1: you are ready tomorrow at three o'clock. Real Radio dot FM,
- 2:25:43Speaker 1: slash Bourbon. This is Sophia I Zella. That actually sounds
- 2:25:51Speaker 1: pretty cool week right, we might need to check this out,
- 2:25:54Speaker 1: all right? Yeah, I don't know about you. Let's get
- 2:25:56Speaker 1: some news.
- 2:25:58Speaker 8: Good time for you.
- 2:26:00Speaker 7: I've heard it here first on the Jim Colbert Show.
- 2:26:02Speaker 5: Heay, finally something to celebrate out of Washington, at least
- 2:26:06Speaker 5: so far. Okay, Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer's office as
- 2:26:09Speaker 5: a bipartisan funding.
- 2:26:11Speaker 1: Deal has been reached nice.
- 2:26:13Speaker 5: All right, Yeah, that would avert a government shutdown. Senate
- 2:26:16Speaker 5: GOP leaders there we go, are now trying to set
- 2:26:20Speaker 5: up a vote for tonight. The deal includes separation of
- 2:26:24Speaker 5: the five bipartisan appropriation bills that Democrats had asked for
- 2:26:28Speaker 5: and a two week stop gap funding extension for the DHS.
- 2:26:32Speaker 5: Government funding is set to expire Friday at midnight.
- 2:26:36Speaker 2: Yes, all right.
- 2:26:37Speaker 5: Olympic track star Hikari Richardson was pulled over and arrested
- 2:26:41Speaker 5: today after Orange County deputies say she was driving over
- 2:26:45Speaker 5: one hundred miles per hour.
- 2:26:47Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:26:47Speaker 1: Man, she can't stay out of trouble Richardson. I love
- 2:26:50Speaker 1: this story.
- 2:26:50Speaker 5: Though Richardson was reportedly traveling at one hundred and four
- 2:26:55Speaker 5: miles an hour.
- 2:26:55Speaker 1: I doundate it on the far don't either. On the
- 2:26:57Speaker 1: four to.
- 2:26:58Speaker 5: Twenty nine near Stony Brook as Stoneybrook Parkway, this part's
- 2:27:03Speaker 5: not so cool. She was dangerously tailgating and traveling across
- 2:27:06Speaker 5: leanes of travel to pass other motorists. Twenty five year
- 2:27:09Speaker 5: old Richardson was booked into the Orange County jail, being
- 2:27:12Speaker 5: held in a five hundred dollars bond.
- 2:27:14Speaker 1: The fastest woman.
- 2:27:15Speaker 5: In the world competed in the twenty twenty four Paris Olympics,
- 2:27:18Speaker 5: where she won gold and silver medals.
- 2:27:20Speaker 1: Yeah, she's had a little buzz. She's at some mom
- 2:27:22Speaker 1: young you know, out there living.
- 2:27:24Speaker 4: I just love that story because the sprinter got caught speeding.
- 2:27:28Speaker 4: Ya I know, I'm not going to point out any
- 2:27:31Speaker 4: more jokes.
- 2:27:31Speaker 1: Yes, that's kind of fun. It writes itself.
- 2:27:34Speaker 5: And then finally, the National Film Registry has twenty five
- 2:27:37Speaker 5: new entries. The Library of Congress unveiled this year's selections today.
- 2:27:42Speaker 5: Among the chosen films are Christopher Nolan's sci fi thriller
- 2:27:46Speaker 5: Inception Okay, The Oscar winning civil war drama Glory Okay,
- 2:27:50Speaker 5: and the Pixar animated classic The Incredibles.
- 2:27:53Speaker 1: Ow great movie. That is great, one of my favorite
- 2:27:56Speaker 1: Pixar movies of all time.
- 2:27:57Speaker 15: Yep.
- 2:27:57Speaker 5: Also on the list are Clueless, The Karate Kid, and
- 2:28:01Speaker 5: The Truman Show.
- 2:28:02Speaker 1: Oh that's cool. I mean the two of those are cool.
