Transcript
- 0:09Hello and welcome back. Now for this episode I want to
- 0:12talk about Damian Collins, the Uniport student who killed his
- 0:19girlfriend Tiffany, who is also a Uniport student.
- 0:26Now this like I don't even understand.
- 0:28These are people in their 20s. These are young people in
- 0:35school. He is studying chemical
- 0:39engineering or something like that.
- 0:41She's studying biochemistry. So these are intelligent people,
- 0:45not people who are out there. They have a future.
- 0:48But because I I cannot even imagine people in their 20s
- 0:52wanting to drive bands at all costs.
- 0:55You are still in school, You're still in school.
- 0:58Anyway, the story is that this guy, Damian Collins met Tiffany
- 1:06decided dating. I think they've been dating for
- 1:09three years now. I think immediately she got into
- 1:11school, she started dating him and what is the story?
- 1:15She went to visit him over the weekend and then people started
- 1:19looking for her. Because she was not in school,
- 1:21she was not at home. Friends and family said that
- 1:24they put out missing persons poster looking for her.
- 1:30Now where Collins was leaving, the security people said he was
- 1:34carrying a wheelbarrow. They stopped him and they asked
- 1:38what he was carrying. This was where they realised
- 1:40that this guy is carrying human remains.
- 1:44He actually killed her, plucked off her eyes, cut off her breast
- 1:50and then chopped her into smaller pieces for easy
- 1:55disposal. Like this is somebody you've
- 1:58dated for three years. And there there are videos
- 2:03online where they were both happy.
- 2:06You know, doing what boyfriend like is so ridiculous.
- 2:11So they were asking him OK, he was not denying the whole thing,
- 2:14that's all. He did not have any hand in the
- 2:17whole thing. He woke up and she was already
- 2:20dead. And then they said OK, she was
- 2:23ready to sing for me. Last one period girl, you woke
- 2:27up and she was dead. So what happened after that?
- 2:31Why didn't you raise alarm? Why didn't you call neighbours?
- 2:34He said Ohh, because they were like, let me just play that
- 2:37video for you to see. Emery Damian.
- 2:42In most states. Yeah.
- 2:48That's a girl was found my house.
- 2:52Outcome. I woke up and then I I woke up
- 2:59and then the girl was lying there lifelessly in my house.
- 3:07Yes, just the two of us in the house.
- 3:12Yes. I don't know what her.
- 3:16That's the problem. I don't know what her.
- 3:21I know report to anybody. That was the mistake I made.
- 3:23I did not report to anybody. I just.
- 3:25I just left. It's not I I did not pack the
- 3:31body, It's not inside the glamorous inside the big bag.
- 3:34And I know I did not do anything.
- 3:36I just carried the body like that.
- 3:38And put on the liberal. But I now left and then came
- 3:43back. Is me, is me.
- 3:47I was trying to dispose it cause I thought anybody that see this
- 3:51thing I would not blame it on me.
- 3:56She was already she was already faced.
- 4:00I don't know. That's the problem.
- 4:02I don't know. Maybe an autopsy?
- 4:08She's she. We we used to like.
- 4:10We just used to make up and break up and you know, like.
- 4:15Yes, we had a relationship, yes. Yes.
- 4:24It was just. The nights.
- 4:27She will stay the night in the morning, was when I found out.
- 4:34In the morning, she spent the night in the room.
- 4:38I spent the night in the parlour and then I found out that the
- 4:41morning in the room. If you see somebody.
- 4:51I was supposed to report, but I did not report because I was
- 4:53very scared. I don't know what to do.
- 4:55I was thinking if I report this thing that everybody will blame
- 4:57it on me, everybody will blame it on me and look at it now.
- 5:01Everybody's blame it on me. I don't know what to do.
- 5:05Did this, but when? I don't know.
- 5:08I know. Remember, the body was still
- 5:11intact now. That's what I guess.
- 5:17It was snacks and the Olanda you got.
- 5:25Hollandia exotic actually is me, is me that is me that brought
- 5:29it. Now it's both of us that drank
- 5:30it. You find out.
- 5:37All our friends. No, I did not.
- 5:46I didn't even tell my brother. I did not tell anybody.
- 5:48I was just very scared because I didn't know what to do.
- 5:57No, but my neighbours, because I'm I'm just leaving the
- 5:59compound, I just moved in. I moved in like a week ago.
- 6:07Back off NT now. This is Callie is making excuses
- 6:13upon excuses talking about ohh she's not he.
- 6:18He did not kill her but you. This is somebody dated.
- 6:22Let's say something happens. Let's say you woke up and she
- 6:25was not breathing. Who are you?
- 6:27A doctor to pronounce her dead? You should have called the
- 6:31police. Call neighbours, call people to
- 6:34say OK, something happens to my girlfriend, I don't know what
- 6:37happened, but you cut off her because according to this, the
- 6:41the, the the breast was missing, the eyes were missing.
- 6:45Let's say you were trying to dispose her.
- 6:48What? Why?
- 6:49You OK? Cut off the head.
- 6:51What? What has the eyes got to do with
- 6:52that? What has the breast got to do
- 6:54with that? This is the society we're living
- 6:58in. I remember growing up we used to
- 6:59watch Nollywood movies where you watch ritual killings, you watch
- 7:04like then it was one big man who comes to the village or will
- 7:11lure somebody with money. But these are students in the
- 7:17university. You're thinking, OK, he's
- 7:22studying chemical engineering or petroleum in whatever he was
- 7:25studying. Are you thinking OK, this person
- 7:27has a future. He has potential.
- 7:30He can graduate and get a good job.
- 7:32You. She's not even dating the Yahoo.
- 7:35Like I don't even think she realised that.
- 7:37I don't even know if she knows she was a Yahoo boy.
- 7:42These are the issues. So you could see that the ritual
- 7:46killing, those days where big people come in luring people,
- 7:51taking people to bushes, these people now kill in houses in
- 7:56their own homes. This is at the back of Killer
- 7:59Boy who has been arrested in Sierra Leone.
- 8:01Killer Boy was dating a girl who 21 years old, she's old.
- 8:06She was also a student and they were dating flying different
- 8:11places. His source of income were
- 8:13obviously wasn't Yahoo Boy or whatever he was doing to get
- 8:17money because at 26 years old guy who is spending lavishly.
- 8:24Don't get me wrong, there are people making legitimate money
- 8:27online who can spend that amount of money but killer.
- 8:31But he doesn't have any source of income, so he had an argument
- 8:37with girlfriend, he stabbed her, they said.
- 8:40He also cut out some parts of her body.
- 8:42And then he rammed, escaped to Syria alone, paid $25,000 and
- 8:49obtained A Syrian passport. The mother was now looking for
- 8:53her daughter. The daughter actually told the
- 8:55mum she was going to see Killer Boy.
- 8:57So the mom went to Killer Boy's house only to discover her
- 9:01daughters decaying body. She raised the lamb and thank
- 9:08God Killer Boy has been arrested.
- 9:10He's in Sierra Leone. You're trying to get him back to
- 9:12Nigeria to answer for his crimes.
- 9:15Now the mother released the video thanking God and saying
- 9:19that's ohh she she's finally able to even breathe right now.
- 9:23Now watch this video and see. Good morning, everybody.
- 9:30When my daughter was murdered. It was very, very difficult for
- 9:34me to come online. I couldn't hold it.
- 9:37That guy is that husband. My, his partner, my everything
- 9:43you can think of. So I was really short of words.
- 9:48I went, They start chatting me up.
- 9:50Mommy, I'm sorry. It was a mistake the way you
- 9:52wrote it. I thought maybe it was, yeah,
- 9:53come out, Let's go to the policy which is coming out.
- 9:57Then along the line he started when he saw the poster.
- 9:59He wants to send money to me for burial is I don't need money for
- 10:03burial. Just come out.
- 10:04After some time you change the narrative again that it was self
- 10:08defence as you just come out. When you come out with the
- 10:11police you will judge. You judge my mouth, you judge my
- 10:13daughter's massage my quite quickly as his son.
- 10:17Then after a while after I posted the last one he posted,
- 10:21I'm the one people my daughter was from me, which I never did.
- 10:25And now blocked me off. It wasn't chatting me against
- 10:29his then. So at that point I don't OK,
- 10:31there's no way to reach him again.
- 10:32So what I did, I sent is post passport photographs to all my
- 10:36relatives, all my friends, all my families all over the world.
- 10:40And I told them he has tattoo on his body that is the way to
- 10:43identify him. So along the line my cousin in
- 10:46Liberia and Sierra Leone, my cousin Sierra Leone on the first
- 10:49entered me auntie, I saw somebody exactly like this.
- 10:54So immediately my son and another of my cousin, they went
- 10:58to Sereno. They went, they went celone a
- 11:01day before they got there, the night the claim wanted.
- 11:05So look at the decline 130 start hiding.
- 11:08But then my cousin went there met with the Commissioner of
- 11:11Police there met with everybody and talk show the picture of the
- 11:14corpse of my daughter. Because they actually killed her
- 11:17and left her to rotten. Actually killed her and
- 11:20collected her phone with her. So the police have been working.
- 11:23So yesterday night they kept tracking us.
- 11:25It was around 2:00 AM they got they when my, my, my, my cousins
- 11:29were there. Then I went to the hotel used to
- 11:31lodge. I'm getting to the hotel.
- 11:33It was a white man. The white man.
- 11:34I said no, they can't accommodate the murderer.
- 11:36But he has left their place. That OK let it print out his
- 11:40passport. You can't believe me.
- 11:42Nigerians all over the world. How do you keep my daughter on
- 11:46the 13th of July. Best best best thing that you
- 11:50know go Benjamin Godfrey Luna passports.
- 11:53On the 28th of July he changed his name.
- 11:59His son named by Benjamin. He changed it to Kano his first
- 12:04name that his best he's changed it to.
- 12:05Preston is middle name that is Nyarugusu.
- 12:10He changed it to Samuel so with. That passport and the local
- 12:14number they regard, the police. They began to work for us for
- 12:17the past over 2 weeks, now to the glory of God, yesterday at 2
- 12:21PM, 2:00 AM in the night Benjamin was caught.
- 12:26Yeah, there are bloods. I can even enter our coffees on
- 12:29alcohol. Nigeria.
- 12:34You know what? What percent of the pain is gone
- 12:44this morning that Benjamin is caught?
- 12:49A whole lot of people have been saying that you cannot blame the
- 12:53the men or the guys who the young boys who are doing all
- 12:56these things. You also have to blame the women
- 12:58because most Nigerian women or most young, the average Nigerian
- 13:02woman will tell you I don't. I will need somebody that will
- 13:06take care of me. I need somebody that will do
- 13:08this and this. And they are looking at
- 13:10Instagram, especially these young girls in school.
- 13:14They want to carry Birkin bag. They want to be like talking
- 13:16back and what they want to be like this, they want to be like
- 13:18that. They want to leave the life, the
- 13:20baby girl life. But you are just 21 or you are
- 13:25just 22. You are you school.
- 13:29You're like you've never made 100, Everyone walked and then
- 13:34100,000. But you want to carry a bag of
- 13:3810,000 dollars, $20,000. You want to carry a health
- 13:43500,000 naira. And this is some people's
- 13:47argument saying that if these young girls are not pressuring
- 13:50the young men to make money at all costs, that this whole
- 13:54ritual killings or Yahoo Plus will not be as rampant as it is
- 13:59today. This is this is ridiculous.
- 14:04This is crazy. These are young people in their
- 14:0820s killing their girlfriends. Relax.
- 14:11You in your 20s, what are you chasing?
- 14:14What are you chasing? You have a whole 60 years plus
- 14:17life to live. If you do everything in your
- 14:2020s, what are you going to do for the rest of your life?
- 14:24People need to I I think parents also need to play their role in
- 14:28this whole thing. Your child is saying I want
- 14:32iPhone 15. Your child that is in school
- 14:35that has not earned any money. I am not saying don't buy or
- 14:39teach them responsibility. Teach them that OK, yes, you
- 14:44need if I can get her from 15, but these are things that you
- 14:50need to do these these are the sacrifices are to make for me to
- 14:53be at this point to be able to afford iPhone 15 for you.
- 14:57And these are the things that you also need to make because
- 15:01when we spoil kids like OK, anything they want to give them,
- 15:05you will not teach them responsibility.
- 15:08And then they go out there looking for who to I used don't
- 15:11tell them no. They start looking for Yahoo
- 15:13boys to get all these things, or they start looking for Yahoo
- 15:16plus looking for girlfriends to cut off their eyes and breasts
- 15:20to to get money. We need to like.
- 15:27Ah, it's just crazy. The society we live in today.
- 15:33Anyway, that's all I have to say for today.
- 15:34Please, like, like, like and share.
- 15:36Thank you very much. Bye.
- 15:37Bye.
