- 0:52Speaker 1: somebody's met but broke our other camera and now we
- 0:56Speaker 1: are using the old backup.
- 0:58Speaker 2: That's why if it looks a washed.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Out, do we look white?
- 1:02Speaker 4: We look very white.
- 1:04Speaker 2: And his future Carr car lot in Sports allegedly.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, thank you all, thank you all for
- 1:15Speaker 3: joining us, uh for this episode.
- 1:19Speaker 2: So is it.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Wow? Episode of sports Allegedly. I'm Kenny shandam a right
- 1:28Speaker 3: Slamball Motors LLC be the sponsor to night show and
- 1:32Speaker 3: uh no, thanks for joining us. We've got a lot
- 1:34Speaker 3: to talk about.
- 1:34Speaker 2: If you if you want a car that nobody's gonna
- 1:37Speaker 2: sell you, it's Kenny. He'll have to look at it,
- 1:40Speaker 2: but he wants.
- 1:42Speaker 3: No, we got a lot to talk about sports wise.
- 1:44Speaker 3: We're gonna do a little hockey talk. We're gonna not
- 1:46Speaker 3: honky talk, hockey talk. And we're gonna talk obviously softball.
- 1:53Speaker 3: And but let's start with what's most important. I've got
- 1:57Speaker 3: my O k C garbage.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Are you gonna start with Okay, you're to start No, No, We're.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Just we'll start with the game right now. We're gonna
- 2:02Speaker 3: talk final for NBA basketball. Let's where we started a
- 2:07Speaker 3: little late because we were watching the Knicks and Pacers,
- 2:09Speaker 3: and it's kind of becoming out of control right now.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Current is that updated on that score? I thought I
- 2:17Speaker 3: had four minutes, but anyway, we've got uh, we got
- 2:20Speaker 3: one eleven ninety eight right now, Knicks over Pacers.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Obviously Game one.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Eastern Conference, one night, getting closer. Probably should have stayed watching,
- 2:30Speaker 3: but no, it looks like the Knicks are gonna wrap
- 2:34Speaker 3: this one up tonight. Obviously it's great to see. I
- 2:40Speaker 3: mean when we were growing up just watching basketball, Knicks
- 2:44Speaker 3: and Pacers were the shit. I mean you had Patrick, Yes,
- 2:49Speaker 3: he was the CEO of the President whatever. So you
- 2:53Speaker 3: got Knicks Pact, the Knicks, you got Ewing, You've got
- 2:58Speaker 3: Reggie Miller Rix, it's all them guys. I think it
- 3:03Speaker 3: was Dale Davis was was obviously an integral part of that.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Why I remember who was on this Pacers and.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Then there was another Davis guy. I think it might
- 3:11Speaker 3: have been his brother cousin or just had a Davis
- 3:13Speaker 3: last name. But anyway, that's just coming back from me.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Obviously didn't study it. But no, it's good because Pacers
- 3:19Speaker 3: have never Pacers have never won a championship.
- 3:22Speaker 5: Did the Pacers have that white guy Rick Smith's was
- 3:25Speaker 5: it Smith? Since that's all center? Yes, thetman or something.
- 3:33Speaker 5: But no, so you've got pull up the box score
- 3:36Speaker 5: on that while.
- 3:36Speaker 3: You're looking at the score. Okay, but no, I think
- 3:41Speaker 3: it's great. I think you got the Pacers who has
- 3:43Speaker 3: never won a championship. The Knicks have been not relevant
- 3:47Speaker 3: for probably a good twenty years.
- 3:53Speaker 2: The nineties.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Yeah, and so some of those Knicks and Pacers, you
- 3:57Speaker 3: got Nicks and Heat. When you know when Alonso there
- 4:00Speaker 3: at the Heat and Patrick King was at the Knicks,
- 4:03Speaker 3: it was it was right.
- 4:05Speaker 6: Well, yeah, you always had Nixon Detroit. You said, you know,
- 4:08Speaker 6: Knicks and Celtics, and I think that was that was
- 4:12Speaker 6: what that was What was really good about this last
- 4:16Speaker 6: this last round before the final, before the championships, was
- 4:23Speaker 6: it was Celtics Knicks.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it was an.
- 4:25Speaker 6: Old school eighties nineties rivalry that was reignited.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Well, and you don't and let's not talk we could
- 4:32Speaker 3: touch on them that a little bit. I don't think
- 4:33Speaker 3: that if you really watched that game, you know there
- 4:37Speaker 3: was the concern there that oh it was because of
- 4:41Speaker 3: uh Tatum going get getting hurt Celtics. The Knicks dominated
- 4:46Speaker 3: that series. You just dominate. They just won those four Well, you.
- 4:49Speaker 6: Remember they were up and then you sent me a
- 4:51Speaker 6: text saying that the Celtics had had what in the
- 4:55Speaker 6: fourth period, had missed thirty free throws or thirty three
- 4:58Speaker 6: pointers or something.
- 5:00Speaker 3: No, but it was yes, yes, and that And that
- 5:03Speaker 3: was the problem with that is because it turned into
- 5:06Speaker 3: you know, Celtics were up. You know, Knicks won Game
- 5:09Speaker 3: one and five, that was in halftime or in overtime, sorry,
- 5:13Speaker 3: Celtics were up. Game two, Knicks beat the Celtics just
- 5:16Speaker 3: by one, and then the Celtics beat them easily in
- 5:21Speaker 3: New York and the Knicks won Game four. That's when
- 5:26Speaker 3: Tatum got hurt. And the Celtics turn around and win
- 5:29Speaker 3: that game without Tatum, and that was huge because you
- 5:35Speaker 3: look at that, you're kind of like, no, wait a minute,
- 5:37Speaker 3: you know, are we all claiming they're over? Jalen Brown
- 5:41Speaker 3: had a hell of a game that that game, and
- 5:43Speaker 3: Derek White just went off, so thirty four points for him.
- 5:46Speaker 6: Jay, You looked at so the so that the Celtics
- 5:50Speaker 6: are good without Tatum and then they just turn around
- 5:54Speaker 6: and bomb the next game.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Nineteen to eighty one.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Yeah, well, and it was just too much. I mean,
- 6:00Speaker 4: you knew.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I mean I really thought at the beginning, like a
- 6:02Speaker 3: lot of some uh you know, different sports people, kind
- 6:08Speaker 3: of thought that maybe it wasn't over. I kind of
- 6:11Speaker 3: thought Boston would come back until I watched that game,
- 6:15Speaker 3: the game that Tatum got hurt in. Wow, we'll talk
- 6:18Speaker 3: about that in a minute. That's a bit. The will
- 6:21Speaker 3: update you on the hockey real quick.
- 6:23Speaker 2: We should be we should be at that game.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Yeah, there's one game going on right now. Uh Stars
- 6:29Speaker 3: Edmonton Stars took the lead four to three. Currently right
- 6:32Speaker 3: now we're down three to one. Now they're up four
- 6:35Speaker 3: to three. That'd be a huge upset for the Stars
- 6:38Speaker 3: to take game one, even though I know they're home.
- 6:40Speaker 3: I think Edmonds is a better team. Anyway, we'll get
- 6:42Speaker 3: to that here a little bit. But going back to
- 6:43Speaker 3: the Celtics and the Knicks, that game that Tatum got hurt,
- 6:47Speaker 3: Nicks for dominating that game. Anyway, he got hurt with
- 6:49Speaker 3: four minutes left.
- 6:51Speaker 2: NI next week, he got hurt on a stupid move.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Well it was a non contact he was just moving
- 6:56Speaker 3: and ruptured, but.
- 6:58Speaker 2: It was his movement. It was it was he did himself?
- 7:02Speaker 3: Yes, so no, I just think that the Knicks had
- 7:07Speaker 3: that Series one. And it's the irony is is Nicks
- 7:11Speaker 3: hate Tom Thibodeau. You probably do too, because he used
- 7:13Speaker 3: to coach the Buffalo or the Bulls. That guy was
- 7:18Speaker 3: there as an assistant. I was telling you in the
- 7:20Speaker 3: last championship. Yeah, young young.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Phil Jackson was on the team.
- 7:26Speaker 3: So he's been around for that long. But you know,
- 7:29Speaker 3: everyone is bitched about his coaching over and over and over.
- 7:32Speaker 3: You know, he only runs six, seven guys out and
- 7:34Speaker 3: he's probably.
- 7:35Speaker 2: What have we got?
- 7:36Speaker 3: Sean on the box score, give me a run about
- 7:38Speaker 3: who's just played tonight for them? I know they're showing
- 7:41Speaker 3: who's on the court. To go down to that full
- 7:43Speaker 3: box score, and I'm just curious to see done. Yeah,
- 7:47Speaker 3: to see how many people they've played.
- 7:50Speaker 6: They played three extra guys okay and Robinson.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Okay, so they did so they generally run seven guys.
- 7:57Speaker 3: That's they ran eight tonight. Can pain former OKC guy. No,
- 8:03Speaker 3: he was a plus five.
- 8:04Speaker 6: Though, but swear to god, there's way more people on
- 8:07Speaker 6: that bench than what you see here on the.
- 8:10Speaker 3: So he ran eight, but you look at it, it's
- 8:11Speaker 3: forty one, thirty six, thirty five, thirty two, thirty eight.
- 8:15Speaker 2: So pain has come in. Paint has come in only
- 8:17Speaker 2: for ten minutes.
- 8:18Speaker 6: Yes, the two bench backups, Robinson and McBride both been
- 8:21Speaker 6: in twenty.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Now those are it?
- 8:22Speaker 3: Now, those are the guys that are gonna play anyway.
- 8:23Speaker 3: So you play seven, campaign's a little bit of surprise.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I mean he's two for seven. I mean didn't do
- 8:30Speaker 3: bad obviously, but no, And that's the bitch on Timodo
- 8:34Speaker 3: is that he's just gonna suit up so many guys
- 8:37Speaker 3: where if you look at the Pacers, their bench as
- 8:39Speaker 3: much deeper. They run a lot more guys, kind of
- 8:41Speaker 3: like the okay, see thunder. They remind those teeths remind
- 8:44Speaker 3: me of each other a little bit.
- 8:45Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't I don't get who was that in
- 8:47Speaker 6: the uh what team was that in the NCAA Finals
- 8:51Speaker 6: that only ran five guys the whole time?
- 8:54Speaker 3: Oh recently?
- 8:56Speaker 2: Yeah this year this year, they only ran five guys
- 8:59Speaker 2: that old time.
- 9:00Speaker 3: But that was that was the gripe about Thibodeau. He's
- 9:03Speaker 3: not a good coach. He's too defensive oriented, and in reality,
- 9:08Speaker 3: the Knicks have not been good on defense this year
- 9:13Speaker 3: they've been good on offense.
- 9:14Speaker 2: The defense has been the problems.
- 9:15Speaker 6: Problem with the Bulls was he was never really given
- 9:17Speaker 6: a team. You get a guy, guy leaves, you get
- 9:21Speaker 6: a guy, guy leaves. Sorry, all of a sudden, serie
- 9:26Speaker 6: turned out.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Yeah, sorry, my my wrist hit series.
- 9:31Speaker 2: She doesn't understand spots, but yeah she didn't.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Typical typical, typical, No so one twenty three one eighteen.
- 9:38Speaker 3: So far, see if they'll update one more time as
- 9:40Speaker 3: we're sitting here, twenty nine second.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Slaves time out.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Okay, we're gonna update here. They were in a full
- 9:48Speaker 3: time out, so still won twenty three one eighteen. No
- 9:52Speaker 3: timeouts left for pacers. Looks like the Knicks have one.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Like I said, twenty nine seconds left.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Twine seconds left? There up, what is it?
- 10:05Speaker 3: Uh?
- 10:06Speaker 2: Six six points? Five points?
- 10:09Speaker 6: So I'm trying to mass I don't like the math.
- 10:13Speaker 6: So you know that pacers right now are just doing
- 10:17Speaker 6: foul foul, foul, foul, foul, foul, hoping the miss yes,
- 10:20Speaker 6: help helping them ass and then they get down at
- 10:22Speaker 6: three three three because right now they're three pointer? Is
- 10:29Speaker 6: they are eleven fours.
- 10:33Speaker 2: In nineteen twenty twenty one, twenty four Just for the people.
- 10:37Speaker 3: On court, if you have the box to show that
- 10:41Speaker 3: got a challenge for the Pacers? Is that what we're
- 10:44Speaker 3: saying right now?
- 10:45Speaker 4: That could take a while.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Okay, No, I I I've got, I've got the I've got.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Right now, they're shooting just forty nine percent.
- 10:55Speaker 3: I have not been able to do a pick on
- 10:57Speaker 3: this game because I lean Pacers, because I think they're
- 11:00Speaker 3: They're a better team.
- 11:02Speaker 4: In a long I'm.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Really enjoying watching the Knicks, who I hate.
- 11:08Speaker 3: But I think the Knicks have the more overall talent,
- 11:11Speaker 3: right stars.
- 11:12Speaker 2: The Pacers have always been a boring team to me.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Now they move the ball, they run it, they you know,
- 11:17Speaker 3: it's you know, Halliburton. In the back of the day,
- 11:21Speaker 3: they were a lot of threes. Those were fun. I mean,
- 11:23Speaker 3: you got Reggie Miller shooting threes left and right.
- 11:25Speaker 4: They were like daggers.
- 11:27Speaker 3: But you know they they should be heaving the pace.
- 11:31Speaker 3: I think they're kind of trying. It's one hundred and
- 11:33Speaker 3: eighteen points. You see that the Knicks haven't. You see,
- 11:40Speaker 3: the Knicks haven't ran a whole lot. But I'd like
- 11:43Speaker 3: to do Sean is go back to one stat I'd
- 11:45Speaker 3: like to look at go to the full box score.
- 11:48Speaker 3: I'd like to see you were talking a little bit
- 11:50Speaker 3: about percentages of of shooting.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Well, what was.
- 11:53Speaker 3: The what's the overall percentage of shooting compared to I
- 11:57Speaker 3: want to know more than Knicks shooting.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Well, fifty two, thirty five, sixty.
- 12:01Speaker 4: And yeah, that's good. I mean that's good. I mean
- 12:03Speaker 4: that's fifty.
- 12:06Speaker 6: And this game is now at two points. This game
- 12:08Speaker 6: is now down to two points with twenty two seconds left.
- 12:12Speaker 6: So that was a hurry up score that we just missed.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Well, we'll talk a little bit more about that. I mean,
- 12:22Speaker 3: so I would think I'm gonna lean. I think I
- 12:26Speaker 3: would like to lean Smith in the three pointer. I'd
- 12:29Speaker 3: like to lean a little bit more to the Knicks
- 12:34Speaker 3: overall on this series, maybe six games, seven games, just
- 12:38Speaker 3: because the talent. But but I could, I should say this,
- 12:42Speaker 3: both great coaches on bost sides, you got, you got
- 12:46Speaker 3: tips on that.
- 12:47Speaker 4: When then you got obviously, uh.
- 12:49Speaker 2: You gotta you gotta remember so that the Pacers. The
- 12:51Speaker 2: Pacers went through and they handled Dallas, they handled Cleveland
- 12:55Speaker 2: quite well in Cleveland. Did Cleveland are the best overalls
- 13:00Speaker 2: record this year?
- 13:02Speaker 4: Okay?
- 13:02Speaker 3: See, I know they were the one seed in the
- 13:04Speaker 3: ok No, I said the okay See was the one
- 13:07Speaker 3: seed in the West. I couldn't remember who had the
- 13:09Speaker 3: best record.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Of well, Cleveland had the number one and in the
- 13:12Speaker 2: East in the East, yes, correct, that's what I'm saying.
- 13:14Speaker 6: I don't remember who had the best who had the
- 13:16Speaker 6: better record. I do know that what we watched Oklahoma
- 13:21Speaker 6: City thunder and break.
- 13:22Speaker 3: The sixty four, sixty four and eighteen. We had it.
- 13:25Speaker 3: We had sixty eight and fourteen, Okay, And what were
- 13:28Speaker 3: the Pacers?
- 13:30Speaker 4: Pacers were the four seed, fifty and thirty two.
- 13:32Speaker 6: Yeah, so nobody expected the Pacers to come out and
- 13:35Speaker 6: do what they did against the Cavaliers.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Nick really close fifty because.
- 13:38Speaker 6: The Cavaliers had been had been playing tough all season,
- 13:41Speaker 6: and you know, they were what four games back of
- 13:42Speaker 6: the of the overall title, regular season title.
- 13:48Speaker 3: God, I did not realize that that. I thought we
- 13:51Speaker 3: had a couple of late losses in the season. We
- 13:53Speaker 3: only lost fourteen games. Now that's a sixteen you know
- 13:56Speaker 3: we were, but the second seed was sixteen games.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Behind the Thunder.
- 14:00Speaker 3: And you've got these you've got these professional commentators giving
- 14:03Speaker 3: us no shot at all to win the championship, right.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And.
- 14:11Speaker 6: So the West the West was was heavily separated, but
- 14:17Speaker 6: the East was way closer.
- 14:18Speaker 4: Well, yeah, but the West is better. I mean the
- 14:20Speaker 4: West basketball is hands down better.
- 14:23Speaker 3: I mean, you know, you had people with losing records
- 14:26Speaker 3: getting into the playing games. You know, I guess Dallas
- 14:31Speaker 3: did too, Dallas in Sacramento.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I forgot about that.
- 14:35Speaker 4: But no, I mean you would take I would take.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Anybody in the West and the top how about top
- 14:43Speaker 3: four seeds. I take the Thunder Rockets. I don't like
- 14:46Speaker 3: the Rockets. That was weird. I just didn't think they
- 14:48Speaker 3: were that good. Very young, very young, very young team.
- 14:53Speaker 3: But the Thunder, the Lakers, the Nuggets, and the Tea Wolves,
- 14:56Speaker 3: those you know, even though that's not the top four,
- 14:59Speaker 3: the those guys right there, I would take to beat Cleveland,
- 15:06Speaker 3: the Knicks, the Pacers, you got the Bucks. I mean
- 15:10Speaker 3: even even even Detroit slid into the sixth seeds. So
- 15:19Speaker 3: all right, we're right now one twenty four one.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Nicks.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Uh probably started the podcast too early. We should have
- 15:26Speaker 3: watched the game. We kind of thought, like.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I said, this is gonna take four hours just to
- 15:31Speaker 2: get through this.
- 15:34Speaker 3: No, so we're uh, I think, uh, Pacers take the
- 15:38Speaker 3: time out.
- 15:38Speaker 4: They have the ball.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I said, thirteen thirteen point two seconds.
- 15:42Speaker 3: They're going to go to time out. They're gonna they're
- 15:45Speaker 3: gonna go to time out. You let's talk.
- 15:46Speaker 2: People wanted to go to game six.
- 15:49Speaker 4: Yeah, I would have pre yes.
- 15:51Speaker 3: I wanted to back up a little bit and pull
- 15:53Speaker 3: the box score down for me if you would one
- 15:55Speaker 3: nineteen one o seven.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Nuggets.
- 15:58Speaker 2: I'm just going to preference that. The the text messages
- 16:01Speaker 2: for this game, We're terrible from Kenny. He is a
- 16:06Speaker 2: non believer. No until the game is won. No, I
- 16:11Speaker 2: am you want Chet home, Grom gone.
- 16:16Speaker 3: That was all the text this. You know, I thought
- 16:19Speaker 3: that that. I didn't think that was a bad game
- 16:21Speaker 3: for Chet. But if you look at the shooting, I
- 16:25Speaker 3: will pull us here for the.
- 16:28Speaker 4: For the thunder.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Now, granted forty six percent, hey great, but your three
- 16:34Speaker 3: point you're eleven of forty. You shot twenty seven percent,
- 16:36Speaker 3: but go up to the stars. I want to just
- 16:38Speaker 3: highlight those because I don't know everything. Chet two of seven,
- 16:42Speaker 3: Jalen oh for four, Shay two for four, and then
- 16:46Speaker 3: lou Dort two for seven Crusoe. But now look at
- 16:51Speaker 3: Jalen Williams had three times three of sixteen on Phil
- 16:56Speaker 3: goals and lou dort was was four of nine. Now
- 17:01Speaker 3: it helps Crusoe I thought played amazing. I think Crusoe
- 17:06Speaker 3: was kind of one of those unsung heroes of that
- 17:09Speaker 3: whole series.
- 17:09Speaker 4: I think when they.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Well, Cruso has been an unsung hero, even when he
- 17:12Speaker 2: was in So You Got One Night, even when he
- 17:14Speaker 2: was in uheh in Miami, he was an unsung hero.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Well. So that was the disappointing part is because in
- 17:21Speaker 3: the second half, it's sixty one. You let Denver score
- 17:26Speaker 3: sixty one points, you guys got forty six. I mean,
- 17:29Speaker 3: that was the outscoring deficit there. That was what was
- 17:32Speaker 3: so disappointing is you're in Denver, you have the ability
- 17:36Speaker 3: to close it out.
- 17:37Speaker 6: Yeah, And so what's the difference there for the three
- 17:39Speaker 6: pointers in the second half.
- 17:40Speaker 2: We'd have to break get that break it broke.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Down, Yeah, I don't know, have to I'd have to look.
- 17:44Speaker 6: Because you know, yeah, because you know that all of
- 17:46Speaker 6: a sudden, Ocoma City just decided they wanted to shoot threes.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Yeah, And to give credit, I mean go down and
- 17:52Speaker 3: look what did they really were? I mean, Yokick was
- 17:56Speaker 3: just freaking amazing.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Forty one minutes, nine fourteen and.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Twenty nine points. So he's plus eleven. But Jamal Murray,
- 18:03Speaker 3: I mean, had twenty five and Christian Brown had twenty three,
- 18:08Speaker 3: and everybody played well, I know that. I think it
- 18:13Speaker 3: was a game before. I thought Russell played pretty good.
- 18:15Speaker 3: He didn't play very good then that one. But but yeah.
- 18:18Speaker 6: So shooting percentages were very close for everything except for
- 18:22Speaker 6: the free throw and that's what Denver had had an
- 18:25Speaker 6: eighty four point four.
- 18:26Speaker 2: And we were Faris City in sixty two.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Well, I mean, everybody says that we're free throw bandits
- 18:32Speaker 3: and merchants or whatever. That's only sixteen attempts. What did
- 18:34Speaker 3: Denver have there? Thirty two? No, that's what they made.
- 18:38Speaker 3: They had thirty attempts. They had double what Yeah, we
- 18:43Speaker 3: had double what we had. So that narrative, I'll get
- 18:45Speaker 3: into that a little bit. Let's flip back, see if
- 18:47Speaker 3: we've got an update for anyone that might be listening,
- 18:50Speaker 3: because I just want to know.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Seven point three seconds, one point, it's twenty three.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Looks like Nei Smith got fouled, so he made the
- 18:59Speaker 3: two free throws. Should we look into this Nie Smith guy?
- 19:03Speaker 4: This guy?
- 19:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean am I not paying attention to him,
- 19:07Speaker 3: or maybe I should, because this guy is is is
- 19:12Speaker 3: lighting it up, and that's what's great. Small market teams,
- 19:15Speaker 3: we don't get to watch them at all. Are they
- 19:17Speaker 3: ever on TNT? I mean, think about it. Oloma City
- 19:21Speaker 3: had the one seed this year and had one of
- 19:23Speaker 3: the best records before the season, and we still didn't
- 19:26Speaker 3: get a Christmas game, and then we do next year.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Please look at me in the Christmas game. I want
- 19:34Speaker 2: to be in the Christmas game, all right.
- 19:37Speaker 3: One twenty four, one twenty three, seven seconds. Looks like
- 19:40Speaker 3: we're gonna probably get a foul from somebody.
- 19:43Speaker 2: It looks like, well, it looks like on a bunny. God,
- 19:50Speaker 2: how do you say his name?
- 19:51Speaker 3: On a boy? I didn't know Nie Smith was at
- 19:55Speaker 3: the Celtics. I would have thought I would have picked
- 19:58Speaker 3: him up maybe, huh mmm.
- 20:04Speaker 2: So we're still seven point three seconds, We've got a
- 20:08Speaker 2: lot of uh oh, it is one twenty five.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Three, So we've got a lot of one field goal.
- 20:16Speaker 6: Yeah, we've got we've got a lot of guys coming
- 20:18Speaker 6: in subbing in.
- 20:22Speaker 4: So and obaya on a old boy. Nie Smith played.
- 20:29Speaker 3: For the Celtics until Indiana twenty twenty two.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Twenty three.
- 20:35Speaker 6: He was part of the He was part of the
- 20:38Speaker 6: let go okay, so it looks like it's over now.
- 20:40Speaker 6: Oh no, it's one twenty five. Looks like we're going
- 20:44Speaker 6: into we're going into we're going into.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Plus wait hold yep, yep, but it looks like we're
- 20:52Speaker 2: going into plus time.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Oh yep.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Aliburton shoots the twenty three footer step back shot tied up.
- 20:59Speaker 3: Oh boy, wait, oh boy, nobody's listening to us now, Sean,
- 21:02Speaker 3: They're all going to be in all watching watching this. Well,
- 21:08Speaker 3: that's great, so we'll probably we might finish before the
- 21:10Speaker 3: overtime ends, or at least we'll keep out.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Are you doing in game six? Yes?
- 21:15Speaker 4: Yeah, No, I go to game seven.
- 21:16Speaker 3: So in game seven, much different, but not the start
- 21:20Speaker 3: that I would hope for it.
- 21:21Speaker 4: They had me a little nervous.
- 21:22Speaker 2: They the first one forty six to fifty.
- 21:25Speaker 4: It was twenty.
- 21:25Speaker 3: It was twenty six twenty one after the first quarter,
- 21:28Speaker 3: but it was way less than that at the beginning.
- 21:30Speaker 3: I think it started eight to nothing if I remember right,
- 21:33Speaker 3: six to sixty. No, I said, first quarter, first quarter,
- 21:38Speaker 3: and uh, they were shooting great. We were not shooting
- 21:41Speaker 3: great at all, So go down. Let's look at the
- 21:43Speaker 3: the status shooting.
- 21:45Speaker 2: They fell way off.
- 21:47Speaker 3: So twenty two percent for Denver and thirty nine percent
- 21:50Speaker 3: final shooting. That was a huge second half difference. But
- 21:53Speaker 3: go down just a little bit and check out. Okay,
- 21:56Speaker 3: sees just shooting forty for twos, but the three he
- 22:00Speaker 3: still weren't there. But look who had a little better game.
- 22:03Speaker 2: If we go back, well then seventy nine from the room, Yeah,
- 22:06Speaker 2: go back up to seventy seven, go back up.
- 22:08Speaker 3: To our starters. And yes, that's why I said go
- 22:12Speaker 3: back after stars. I thought Jalen wa and.
- 22:14Speaker 6: In congratulation to Shad Jiggles, he did get the NBA MVP.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Yes he did.
- 22:21Speaker 3: That's three thunder MVP since twenty fourteen. I believe Durant
- 22:26Speaker 3: Westbrook now Shay. But anyway, Shay's thirty six minutes, thirty
- 22:34Speaker 3: five points the Jalen Williams that was the game. We
- 22:38Speaker 3: needed him to come back start shooting the ball because
- 22:41Speaker 3: he had a horrible first game.
- 22:43Speaker 4: But he finally finished ten to seventeen.
- 22:45Speaker 3: All right, so one twenty five ninety three, I think, okay, great, Okay,
- 22:49Speaker 3: let's open up this game with Minnesota. Let's go to
- 22:51Speaker 3: that box room Game one Western Conference Finals against Minnesota,
- 22:56Speaker 3: Who's got arguably one of the best players in the
- 22:59Speaker 3: league with Edward, Julius Randall and Julius Randa. Was a
- 23:02Speaker 3: huge pick up for them this year or was it
- 23:05Speaker 3: this year last year? And then of course you got
- 23:06Speaker 3: Rudy Gobert. They gave up fifty five first round picks
- 23:09Speaker 3: for I still don't get that. But he's okay, and
- 23:13Speaker 3: he only finished the game with two points. Started out
- 23:16Speaker 3: heavy fouls right off the bat, made a lot of
- 23:19Speaker 3: and was benched.
- 23:21Speaker 2: First half was a decent game.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Now you remember they picked up nas Reed as well
- 23:25Speaker 3: from that had the good run when Dallas beat us
- 23:29Speaker 3: last year. I think I'm right on that. And then
- 23:33Speaker 3: but anyway, Mike Conley, the ageless wonder, you know, Mike
- 23:38Speaker 3: Anthony Edwards didn't have a good game either. I thought
- 23:41Speaker 3: Julius Randall was probably the best one on the floor
- 23:44Speaker 3: and played. But first quarter, you're down three points, not
- 23:49Speaker 3: a bad deal. So at halftime you're down fifty eight
- 23:52Speaker 3: to fifty four, you're down by four, and then you
- 23:54Speaker 3: take over in the third quarter. It would be really
- 23:56Speaker 3: nice to see this seam well my polls and see
- 24:02Speaker 3: and That's that's what I thought. So it's it's they
- 24:06Speaker 3: look like the team that had been playing like they
- 24:09Speaker 3: see they had been off.
- 24:10Speaker 4: For so long.
- 24:11Speaker 2: So yeah, but are we going to see another Oklahoma
- 24:15Speaker 2: City Denver Nuggets where win one, lose one, win one,
- 24:18Speaker 2: lose one, win one, lose one going into the seventh possible?
- 24:21Speaker 3: I don't think on this one. I think, of course.
- 24:24Speaker 3: I joked my brother Jeff text me and he said,
- 24:27Speaker 3: how do you think about the first quarter? And I said,
- 24:29Speaker 3: wolves sleep, And so we'll update you a final here
- 24:34Speaker 3: are going to be a final start is gonna win
- 24:36Speaker 3: game one of the hockey game that was the other
- 24:39Speaker 3: game with currently six to three, was three to one,
- 24:44Speaker 3: been a huge meltdown obviously for Edmonton in the second
- 24:47Speaker 3: quarter or in the third period, and.
- 24:52Speaker 6: Yeah, there was there was some changes made that looks
- 24:56Speaker 6: like that that shot him in the foot for for
- 25:00Speaker 6: Edmonton because they didn't make any changes. I mean, they
- 25:04Speaker 6: were up three to one and then all of a sudden,
- 25:06Speaker 6: you know, we get a text to tell you there
- 25:07Speaker 6: are Dallas is up forty three.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Yeah, our Dallas insiders definitely watching that right now.
- 25:14Speaker 2: And Paul McCartney, Marger.
- 25:16Speaker 4: And it's definitely excited about that one.
- 25:19Speaker 3: But the Timberwolves, honestly, they look like the team that
- 25:21Speaker 3: had just you know, the Thunder had to win that
- 25:23Speaker 3: Sunday game, turn around and play Tuesday. Now, nobody ever
- 25:29Speaker 3: took an effect that if you think about it, Denver
- 25:31Speaker 3: got two days off for that game seven, not.
- 25:34Speaker 2: A normal one, right, and you were bitch I did.
- 25:37Speaker 3: I thought that was a little odd because I thought
- 25:39Speaker 3: they wanted to put the plan I guarantee you was
- 25:42Speaker 3: to put Boston Knicks Game seven Sunday night. That's why
- 25:46Speaker 3: we started it two thirty. Yeah, but the Knicks took
- 25:49Speaker 3: care of them Friday and that would have been only
- 25:53Speaker 3: one day rest, but they put them later, you know,
- 25:56Speaker 3: to kind of keep up with that. So anyway, I
- 25:58Speaker 3: thought it was shit scheduling by the NBA because they
- 26:00Speaker 3: probably what they put on that evening for that game
- 26:03Speaker 3: that didn't exist. Hackey Sack reruns from the Championship. Well, okay,
- 26:09Speaker 3: so there you go.
- 26:10Speaker 2: No, I was working. I was working.
- 26:11Speaker 6: They were showing a lot of softball. Yeah, well at
- 26:14Speaker 6: least on their app. They were on their watch.
- 26:17Speaker 3: But anyway, they were showing so game one Oklahoma City
- 26:20Speaker 3: Thunder up one game two tomorrow. What is the time
- 26:23Speaker 3: on that, Sean, I haven't even looked at the time.
- 26:26Speaker 2: I have no clue because.
- 26:29Speaker 3: See what time is game two, game seven thirty tomorrow.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Obviously at the thunder then we go Wolves.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Next year three.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Wolves will be Saturday. Cool, So Wolves will.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Be Saturday when they go back to Minnesota, Saturday at
- 26:48Speaker 3: seven thirty. So that is a night game, Honey. They
- 26:53Speaker 3: don't have any.
- 26:54Speaker 6: Game hockey games after that or during the no there
- 27:00Speaker 6: we go.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Game four will be.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Everybody's on a one game.
- 27:04Speaker 4: Four will be Monday.
- 27:06Speaker 6: Every everybody's on a one game thing right now, and
- 27:10Speaker 6: so hockey's playing about same time.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Every game after that is two days.
- 27:14Speaker 2: But then you're gonna but then you're looking at what's
- 27:16Speaker 2: playing after that.
- 27:17Speaker 3: It's softball and big sport. I mean, it's one of those.
- 27:20Speaker 3: In baseball, it's really exciting time. College college softball, college
- 27:24Speaker 3: baseball a really.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Exciting time right now if you're not football, all.
- 27:27Speaker 6: Right, it's a really exciting time if you're in Oklahoma
- 27:30Speaker 6: because you're you're knowing full well that it is the
- 27:34Speaker 6: rainy season, it is the tornado season, and uh, there
- 27:39Speaker 6: is a.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Lot of delays that are happening.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Be weather ready, people, be weather ready. Shout out to
- 27:47Speaker 3: George Went who passed away.
- 27:49Speaker 2: The original super Fan Bears Bears also away. Also we
- 27:57Speaker 2: missed r I p to Sabu.
- 27:59Speaker 4: Oh. Yes, I saw that original E c W.
- 28:02Speaker 6: He was one of the first guys that I saw
- 28:04Speaker 6: when I started watching E c W. He was I
- 28:09Speaker 6: think he was trained by the Shek, the original Sheic,
- 28:13Speaker 6: not the Iron Chek, but the Shek.
- 28:14Speaker 3: The Sheep, not the Iron the sep Okay, s Sean,
- 28:17Speaker 3: give me your prediction. Back to the Knicks. I'm gonna
- 28:21Speaker 3: go Nick seven.
- 28:22Speaker 4: What do you got?
- 28:23Speaker 2: I'm taking Nicks five? Five?
- 28:25Speaker 4: Okay? What do you got on this one?
- 28:27Speaker 2: Thunder Thunder five?
- 28:30Speaker 4: I got six thunder and six Okay.
- 28:33Speaker 2: They wrote you have this riding that nobody can see
- 28:36Speaker 2: because no, no, no, yeah, because it's really somewhat coming through.
- 28:38Speaker 3: No, that was just the final how we final? So
- 28:40Speaker 3: we got the final picks. I'll get those stats later
- 28:44Speaker 3: from you. You said you said six for both, five
- 28:48Speaker 3: for both, five for both. Man, I'm sorry, I'll find
- 28:50Speaker 3: that because I lost my.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Little Oh the markers were right here.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Yeah, but.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I love that one up and love that we're gonna
- 29:03Speaker 2: jump to hockey real quick, you wanna?
- 29:08Speaker 6: Yeah, Well, right now it's a final Stars six to
- 29:11Speaker 6: three Oilers, and I'm I was looking for I still
- 29:17Speaker 6: say ed Edmonton pulls it out possible seven games. I'm
- 29:24Speaker 6: looking for a repeat of our Stars Florida Carolina, our
- 29:28Speaker 6: staff that way.
- 29:30Speaker 2: No, no, no, they're playing each Florida Edmonton. Yeah, I'm
- 29:33Speaker 2: looking form from last year. Yeah, as we got an
- 29:36Speaker 2: argument about when the last ye I was.
- 29:38Speaker 3: Wrong about that, so so Dallas insider Jeff said five games,
- 29:43Speaker 3: Edmonton will win. So Jeff, you got one right, So
- 29:48Speaker 3: I guess Edmonton's going to pull the rest of those
- 29:49Speaker 3: out of their hat. No. I think it's great. It's
- 29:51Speaker 3: good for the Stars. You know, we went to a
- 29:53Speaker 3: Stars game.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Were you gonna think Edmonton was up three to one?
- 29:56Speaker 4: Yes, but we went to a start the second period
- 29:58Speaker 4: Stars game.
- 29:59Speaker 3: We've talked about this on this podcast. The Stars are
- 30:01Speaker 3: they don't do anything great, No, they don't do anything bad.
- 30:06Speaker 2: They play fundamental, they are consistently good.
- 30:10Speaker 6: And the Oilers everything. The Oilers are a speed team. Well,
- 30:14Speaker 6: were to remember the Oilers snuck in.
- 30:17Speaker 2: The Oilers if you looked at it, if you looked
- 30:20Speaker 2: at how it was seen.
- 30:21Speaker 4: I think stupid.
- 30:23Speaker 6: The Oilers should have been the number seven seed as
- 30:26Speaker 6: what as six seed?
- 30:27Speaker 2: I forget how many they pulled in six teams? Yeah,
- 30:33Speaker 2: three and three or four, four and four. God, it's
- 30:37Speaker 2: been so long. It's been since the beginning of April.
- 30:45Speaker 6: So yeah, now let's take the one one game lad
- 30:47Speaker 6: and then the other side in the eastern side, Florida
- 30:51Speaker 6: has taken a one game lead.
- 30:52Speaker 2: They I have to go find that find that score.
- 30:57Speaker 2: I believe they took it to Carolina.
- 31:02Speaker 6: And Carolina has not been a bad team all these years.
- 31:06Speaker 6: They have been they they've been a solidity. Yeah, they played,
- 31:09Speaker 6: they started, they started on the twenty five to two
- 31:12Speaker 6: was theirs. And you know, the Panthers are the defending
- 31:18Speaker 6: Stanley Cup winners, so.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Everybody respects them to be in.
- 31:24Speaker 6: But yeah, we went through a whirlwind there of hockey
- 31:27Speaker 6: because we were watching and ran and four. I didn't even
- 31:31Speaker 6: look at his his stuff for the night. Do you
- 31:34Speaker 6: remember Rannon had two h two hat tricks in two games.
- 31:41Speaker 6: There's a period between them. We're going here too for
- 31:48Speaker 6: the Knight's game and who got the scores for the night?
- 31:57Speaker 6: All right, So du Shane grun Grandland, Tyler Sagan had two,
- 32:04Speaker 6: which I always been a fan of Tyler Sam.
- 32:10Speaker 3: He's one hundred and twelve. But is he really is
- 32:13Speaker 3: thick on his age?
- 32:14Speaker 2: I really?
- 32:14Speaker 3: I bet he's I bet he's mid thirties.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Only forties. No, oh, he's thirty three. He's only thirty
- 32:20Speaker 2: three world So.
- 32:23Speaker 3: God, he's been playing round one pick two.
- 32:25Speaker 4: That's nuts though, to think about that.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Out of Boston. Yeah, And I don't understand why Boston
- 32:30Speaker 2: let him go.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Wow, that is they didn't want to pay his half
- 32:33Speaker 3: a me.
- 32:34Speaker 6: Well, and you gotta think that Brad Marshawn is on
- 32:37Speaker 6: uh Florida's team now and he won a title with him?
- 32:41Speaker 4: Who else scored?
- 32:42Speaker 3: Jamie Ben? That's who I'm thinking. It's maybe old. Check
- 32:45Speaker 3: Jamie Ben's age. I bet he's thirty six, right up
- 32:49Speaker 3: a little bit, right, oh Jamie Ben? Yeah, I bet
- 32:50Speaker 3: he's thirty. I'm gonna go thirty six, thirty seven, thirty five,
- 32:54Speaker 3: damn close thirty six, close to thirty five.
- 32:58Speaker 2: But he looks like he's been a lifer for Dallas.
- 33:00Speaker 4: Uh yeah, did he leave and come back? Maybe? Or
- 33:04Speaker 4: I could be.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Wrong on that.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Well?
- 33:07Speaker 2: Good, So Uhinger gets to win even though he gave
- 33:11Speaker 2: up three goals, which I think for him.
- 33:14Speaker 3: You know, that's another thing that he doesn't get credit
- 33:17Speaker 3: enough that he's a really good goalie, probably the best
- 33:20Speaker 3: one left in the in the final four.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Ben's bendellas good.
- 33:25Speaker 3: No, I think he's probably one of the best goalies
- 33:27Speaker 3: that's left in the final four.
- 33:30Speaker 2: All right, No, Bob Rofsky, do you remember Bob Rosky's
- 33:32Speaker 2: now he.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Said good years, But I mean he's he because he's
- 33:35Speaker 3: been as good as he had before that. I mean,
- 33:38Speaker 3: last year I thought was phenomenal. I don't think he was.
- 33:40Speaker 2: He was good. Like since he's been with Florida, he's
- 33:42Speaker 2: been good.
- 33:43Speaker 4: I know, I know, I hate it. He had a
- 33:44Speaker 4: good run last year for sure.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Since he's been with Florida, he's been good.
- 33:48Speaker 3: All right, let's get an update on the basketball game.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Nicks Pacers. We got one thirty six, one thirty oh,
- 33:55Speaker 3: Indiana one thirty six.
- 33:56Speaker 4: One thirty five.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Uh Pacers up right now, twenty six seconds left.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Looks like Knicks take a time out. We're gonna get
- 34:04Speaker 4: an updated for you. Same score?
- 34:08Speaker 3: Ye, yes, okay, Knicks had a timeout, all right, let's
- 34:14Speaker 3: move on to let's pull up the regionals.
- 34:18Speaker 2: So the news.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Now, let's give a shout out to A and M.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Yes, let's give it up to the team that they
- 34:26Speaker 2: decided to make the number one overall seed in college
- 34:32Speaker 2: softball for I don't know what reason.
- 34:36Speaker 6: OHU was higher? Oh you had had won the conference?
- 34:42Speaker 6: The regular season conference?
- 34:43Speaker 3: Well, they it was considered tied.
- 34:46Speaker 6: No, that championship was considered tied. They won the regular
- 34:51Speaker 6: Oklahoma women won the regular season title. There was a
- 34:56Speaker 6: rain out in ship Where were the Louisiana Georgia Georgia?
- 35:01Speaker 6: I think there was a rainout, and so they just
- 35:04Speaker 6: decided to say, screw your co champions. But then Texas
- 35:08Speaker 6: A and M gets the number one seeds and they
- 35:12Speaker 6: get knocked out by Liberty.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Good for Liberty and Liberty.
- 35:15Speaker 3: If you remember last year, Liberty had a real close
- 35:18Speaker 3: chance to make it to the super Regional and they
- 35:20Speaker 3: lost out to Georgia on the last like inning or
- 35:23Speaker 3: last strike or something. So Liberty was a good team.
- 35:27Speaker 3: They made it in its first ever. Congratulations to them.
- 35:30Speaker 3: They're also going to play Oregon, so that's gonna be
- 35:33Speaker 3: a toss up there. I don't think I don't think
- 35:36Speaker 3: either teams are. I mean, Stanford was a tough competition
- 35:40Speaker 3: for Oregon, but.
- 35:42Speaker 6: You gotta think so Georgia on the other side, Georgia
- 35:44Speaker 6: took out Duke and there that's great.
- 35:47Speaker 4: That was That was a bit of an upset there.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Duke's gonna play Florida. But anyway, three four, five, seven,
- 36:02Speaker 3: nine out of sixteen, is that right? Yeah, so I
- 36:07Speaker 3: think Florida wins. I think I'm gonna pick Liberty in
- 36:11Speaker 3: that set on against Oregon because I like their pitching.
- 36:14Speaker 4: But I'm gonna go down.
- 36:16Speaker 2: So we got South Carolina coming out of their regional
- 36:20Speaker 2: u c l A.
- 36:21Speaker 3: That was pretty That was pretty evident u c l A.
- 36:24Speaker 3: They had a pretty easy regional as well, So I.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Generally Arizona States are better. Better team.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Both went undefeated. I believe in the regions lost one.
- 36:36Speaker 3: I think didn't they er losses? No, No, that's zero
- 36:40Speaker 3: losses now, but I think they lost one in that tournament. Yeah,
- 36:46Speaker 3: everyone's got zero right now, that'll be I'm gonna pick Texas.
- 36:52Speaker 6: To move to Texas, but now I don't understand why
- 36:56Speaker 6: they stuck them, So we're not going We're just gonna
- 36:58Speaker 6: end up with the one bracket one braget two.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Correct, the WEF side right side doesn't matter.
- 37:04Speaker 3: It does exactly because you go down. Get ready, I'll show.
- 37:07Speaker 6: Why is you stuck with Texas on that side? Why
- 37:09Speaker 6: didn't they put Texas?
- 37:11Speaker 4: Because you go down, you got four more now.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Well, right, but that's what I'm saying.
- 37:14Speaker 4: You know, go down.
- 37:15Speaker 3: These are these four at the bottom, these four brackets.
- 37:18Speaker 3: These are gonna play each other. Okay, and oh you
- 37:21Speaker 3: should be right below Tennessee.
- 37:24Speaker 7: Now look how they they could be playing Arkansas again. No,
- 37:28Speaker 7: go up, it's the one that's up. Jordi Ball former pictures.
- 37:34Speaker 6: Oh that's right, she is Nebraska, and Nebraska came out
- 37:37Speaker 6: of baton rouge that knocked LSU out.
- 37:40Speaker 3: That that was the big upset. And you know, Jordi Ball,
- 37:43Speaker 3: I mean twenty five. I think she's twenty twenty home
- 37:46Speaker 3: runs and twenty wins, and I think she's closer getting
- 37:49Speaker 3: to that twenty five. She went five for five every
- 37:52Speaker 3: time she got to the plate, she made it.
- 37:54Speaker 4: She made it on.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Look at the other side. Old miss ended up taking
- 37:56Speaker 2: out Arizona.
- 37:57Speaker 5: There.
- 37:58Speaker 3: That was an upset, but it was a little bit.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Arizona is not what they should beat.
- 38:02Speaker 2: I know, but I was root for Arizona.
- 38:04Speaker 3: But there's a lot of chat. There's a lot of
- 38:06Speaker 3: chatter about, oh, you going to Alabama this season and
- 38:10Speaker 3: Alabama took two out of three from US or something.
- 38:16Speaker 3: This is the playoffs, so it should be interesting. Now
- 38:20Speaker 3: receding if you if you want to talk about you
- 38:24Speaker 3: saw that article. Yeah, just the receding of putting one
- 38:30Speaker 3: Texas critics to Arkansas. See Arkansas team. Uh but Arkansas
- 38:36Speaker 3: plays Old Miss they'll they'll move. But look up right
- 38:38Speaker 3: above is that Texas Tech? Yes? So you remember h
- 38:43Speaker 3: Kennedy went there from Stanford.
- 38:46Speaker 2: That was her.
- 38:47Speaker 4: So they're in the super regional.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Florida State's good. I think they didn't know you beat
- 38:52Speaker 3: them in the championship two years ago, maybe three years ago,
- 38:56Speaker 3: but they'd be in one of the five and fours
- 38:58Speaker 3: in a row. Every four in a row, we're in
- 39:00Speaker 3: Florida row, we're Furida row. One of those Foreida row
- 39:03Speaker 3: wins was Florida State.
- 39:05Speaker 4: And so but.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Anyway, after receding, and I'll give credit to Michelle Chester
- 39:12Speaker 3: from INCA dot com. This is also on in CA
- 39:16Speaker 3: dot com. She had Oklahoma moving up to one Arkansas,
- 39:20Speaker 3: number two, UCLA number three, Florida Texas, Tennessee, Florida State
- 39:25Speaker 3: Tech Nebraska.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Florida State was to use again.
- 39:28Speaker 4: I think she's too Texas.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Was last year.
- 39:30Speaker 4: I think she I knew Texas was last year. Oh Texas,
- 39:32Speaker 4: Oh my.
- 39:33Speaker 2: God, we've been doing Florida State Texas.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Okay, this has been this has been.
- 39:38Speaker 2: An off and on. Okay, okay, So the twenty twenty season.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Was last nineteen.
- 39:43Speaker 4: I remember that one. That was tough.
- 39:44Speaker 6: All right, So so twenty twenty was canceled. Thedn't OHU
- 39:46Speaker 6: goes on a on a tear. Florida State, Texas, Florida State, Texas.
- 39:52Speaker 3: Yeah. So Nebraska, she's got ninth. I don't think that.
- 39:56Speaker 3: I think that's a little low. I think Jordi Ball
- 39:58Speaker 3: is amazing and she was amazing for US and then
- 40:00Speaker 3: South coastin right.
- 40:01Speaker 6: But the reason why they're nine is the supporting cast.
- 40:06Speaker 4: The're gonna have to get it.
- 40:07Speaker 3: It's not just because you d means no, but I mean,
- 40:10Speaker 3: you know, Nebraska, Nebraska comes out of that regional I
- 40:14Speaker 3: got that, but cast, and I think that Tennessee is
- 40:19Speaker 3: not as strong as they have been previously. I mean you,
- 40:25Speaker 3: Carlon Pickens. She's wonderful and that's what's gonna have to happen.
- 40:31Speaker 3: I mean, but how much support does she got after that?
- 40:34Speaker 3: So gonna be fun? I think, oh, you plays Friday?
- 40:37Speaker 3: Is that first game?
- 40:39Speaker 2: So what we said? Yeah?
- 40:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it starts Friday?
- 40:46Speaker 2: All right?
- 40:47Speaker 4: Score Nick? You know I pulled up the wrong thing.
- 40:53Speaker 3: I just got the the bracket.
- 40:57Speaker 6: It looks like with point two seconds by three.
- 41:06Speaker 2: And they take a time out.
- 41:07Speaker 4: What a super meltdown?
- 41:09Speaker 2: Why would you take a time out by three?
- 41:13Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 41:13Speaker 3: Friday at five, Oklahoma opus skins Alabama. If you're interested
- 41:18Speaker 3: in Nebraska, they'll play at seven, they'll play at Tennessee.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Right after.
- 41:25Speaker 6: Where they're playing, they all move. I know they're in
- 41:28Speaker 6: super regional. I don't know where super regionals were.
- 41:32Speaker 3: I think everybody hosts.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Yeah, we mean everybody host.
- 41:36Speaker 3: We're still at home. So Oklahoma hosts, Tennessee hosts Nebraska.
- 41:40Speaker 4: We're still back to the back to home.
- 41:42Speaker 3: They don't hit Oklahoma City until the final eight.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Well, no, I got I got, I got that, And
- 41:48Speaker 2: I know how I.
- 41:49Speaker 4: Know super reason sixteen.
- 41:51Speaker 6: Generally super readers, you hosts go to another No, no, never,
- 41:56Speaker 6: so the higher seed host.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Okay, that's a fact. So that means Arkansas is gonna
- 42:01Speaker 2: get one.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Arkansas hosting, Oklahoma's hosting, Tennessee's hosting, Florida.
- 42:05Speaker 5: State, South Carolina, Texas, Florida, and Oregon.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Okay, everybody hosts, and then those final eight come to
- 42:14Speaker 3: Oklahoma City and.
- 42:15Speaker 2: We just don't. I don't know.
- 42:17Speaker 6: Baseball doesn't doesn't d one baseball, don't they have super
- 42:20Speaker 6: regional set up, like you go here, you start here,
- 42:23Speaker 6: then you go here for super regional region. I don't
- 42:27Speaker 6: know what, and then and then they have super regional
- 42:29Speaker 6: set up somewhere.
- 42:30Speaker 3: That's possible. That's possible.
- 42:32Speaker 6: I've it's coming up, so we'll know Thenklahoma.
- 42:37Speaker 4: Actually talk a little about that today.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Six.
- 42:41Speaker 6: So we've beat Kentucky. It was at Kentucky that we
- 42:46Speaker 6: beat was.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Yes, five one, yes, And so we're in the quarterfinals.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Now we'll play Vanderbilt, who's had the two rounds off
- 42:54Speaker 3: because they're.
- 42:55Speaker 6: And I know everybody's right now is celebrating b YU
- 42:59Speaker 6: winning our first game in a conference for baseball since.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Like twenty seventeen.
- 43:10Speaker 3: Disappointed Oklahoma State softball this.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Year, I don't know where they fell apart.
- 43:18Speaker 3: I've seen a little bit of transfer chatter already.
- 43:21Speaker 6: Oh there's transfer chattering every Yeah, yit look at oh
- 43:25Speaker 6: are you or or you beat South Dakota eleven to
- 43:29Speaker 6: two in the Summing League.
- 43:31Speaker 3: Is that baseball Yep?
- 43:32Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm looking at baseball sight.
- 43:34Speaker 6: Yeahch Cincinnati being Texas tack and then that's very surprising.
- 43:38Speaker 3: I see, we'll not Texas had text had a bad year,
- 43:40Speaker 3: and I don't know why they're so down too, because.
- 43:42Speaker 2: They used to be I know, That's what I'm saying that.
- 43:44Speaker 2: That's what's surprising about it is them being done. We're
- 43:48Speaker 2: not there yet.
- 43:49Speaker 6: Alabama, I told you, Alabama Tennessee uh combined for twenty
- 43:54Speaker 6: five runs, with Tennessee beating Alabama fifteen to ten. And
- 44:00Speaker 6: that was crazy, thirty hits between them. It looks like
- 44:05Speaker 6: Alabama had two airs and Tennessee had won.
- 44:07Speaker 4: But so much for pitching.
- 44:10Speaker 2: But that was well, I mean yeah for those guys.
- 44:14Speaker 2: But then you look over here in North Florida, North
- 44:15Speaker 2: Alabama they had twenty.
- 44:17Speaker 6: Five but well, sure, sure I could see that. But
- 44:19Speaker 6: they're in the Sun League Atlantic Sun. Let's see, where
- 44:25Speaker 6: is that Penn State beat Washington Dallas Baptist beat Liberty
- 44:31Speaker 6: Alabama State by Jackson State Duke State. Oh, they be
- 44:37Speaker 6: Baylor four toy three, game three. Look at their record
- 44:40Speaker 6: twenty two, twenty seven, twenty two.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Yeah, Oklahoma finished well. Right now, they're thirty five and nineteen.
- 44:45Speaker 3: They had a losing record in the SEC fourteen and sixteen,
- 44:49Speaker 3: which is is not bad. Pacers final one thirty eight,
- 44:51Speaker 3: one thirty five. Oh, that is final. That's that's gonna
- 44:57Speaker 3: be one the next that's a gut punch. Yeah, that's
- 45:00Speaker 3: that's bad. That's bad. That is for them, because I
- 45:04Speaker 3: think at one time, weren't they by sixteen? No, I
- 45:09Speaker 3: mean it was even worse than that. All right, let's
- 45:11Speaker 3: move on. Let's talk a little bit about what do
- 45:15Speaker 3: we got next. Let's go to NFL meetings met.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Hey, guess what, the touchbush is still legal, So.
- 45:20Speaker 4: So it happened. They're keeping it suck.
- 45:24Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 45:24Speaker 4: I kind of wonder.
- 45:27Speaker 3: How that you know that the Green Bay Packers took
- 45:31Speaker 3: a really long hard pick on that. But hey, you
- 45:35Speaker 3: know the receding of the playoff teams that that didn't happen,
- 45:39Speaker 3: that got pulled.
- 45:41Speaker 5: I saw that, and that was a Lions deal I did,
- 45:44Speaker 5: and all of a sudden they pulled it.
- 45:45Speaker 3: It's like, I wonder, who's these backdoor dealings somebody, And
- 45:51Speaker 3: you talk about a bunch of old somebody in old.
- 45:55Speaker 4: Money men getting together and talking.
- 45:57Speaker 6: This out well, and and everybody knows it was gonna
- 46:00Speaker 6: not benefit the NFC South.
- 46:04Speaker 3: No, that's exactly why it was done. That's exactly why
- 46:09Speaker 3: it was done. Was NFC South, and it was the AFC.
- 46:13Speaker 4: South before that.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Before that, it was Texans at the FC South.
- 46:19Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, yeah, that was the two that had generally
- 46:22Speaker 3: losing lower records or whatever.
- 46:27Speaker 2: Aid Timpers flare, push pushed to bait. Hey, you know what,
- 46:34Speaker 2: you just learned to stop it. It's a scrum and
- 46:38Speaker 2: that's all it is. You just you have to get
- 46:40Speaker 2: in there. Love chance to Ulster Bears quarterback narrative. What so.
- 46:49Speaker 3: No playoff, which I don't mind the playoff. I think
- 46:51Speaker 3: they should probably should reseed it. I mean, I'm a
- 46:53Speaker 3: Bucks fan and we've been rewarded obviously, I'm not gonna
- 46:56Speaker 3: argue that, but I don't think the Bucks should host
- 46:59Speaker 3: a game against team that has a better record. But
- 47:01Speaker 3: then you think, well, what if you're playing in a
- 47:03Speaker 3: better division. I mean that that shit happened too, so
- 47:08Speaker 3: maybe it's not as fair as one might thinks about
- 47:12Speaker 3: Brock party signed it too big of a contract.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Yes, that the block pretty that the block pretty hate flow.
- 47:19Speaker 3: It wasn't really ye that whatever I mean? Hey, let
- 47:25Speaker 3: me can I make this statement? Three years no playoffs
- 47:29Speaker 3: for the forty nine ers? Okay, slap a label, mark
- 47:33Speaker 3: it down. We should mark it down. But anyway, No.
- 47:38Speaker 3: I also George Picking traded to Dallas. You know what,
- 47:43Speaker 3: I don't I think that's a good trade.
- 47:44Speaker 2: What is wrong? Okay, what is wrong with?
- 47:46Speaker 6: What is wrong with the Steelers and their receivers? Their
- 47:48Speaker 6: receivers just become whiny divas Shoester Smith, it happened with him.
- 47:54Speaker 3: But no, no, no, what you really should be asking is
- 47:56Speaker 3: what's wrong with Pittsburgh overall?
- 47:59Speaker 2: Well, that's that's the question.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Is there's a common theme and we still get this. Well,
- 48:05Speaker 3: he's never had a losing record. And I love Mike Toman,
- 48:10Speaker 3: former Bucks coach assistant. I think I think, I think
- 48:14Speaker 3: he's a great coach. But I also think that, you know,
- 48:17Speaker 3: sometimes you maybe don't keep up with the times, maybe
- 48:22Speaker 3: you don't change it.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Just well, he did a joke.
- 48:25Speaker 3: I mean no, everybody says, well, he's never had a record. Well,
- 48:28Speaker 3: how many nine and eight seasons you want, or eight
- 48:31Speaker 3: and eight before when they had sixteen, he had a
- 48:34Speaker 3: couple of those. Well his record up, I must see it.
- 48:37Speaker 2: Now he's trying to find another big No.
- 48:39Speaker 3: So now they're head hunting for Aaron Rodgers, who he says, Oh, hey,
- 48:45Speaker 3: you don't have to do ship that the other players
- 48:47Speaker 3: are doing. Just come in and what August that is?
- 48:51Speaker 2: That is the huge I mean it's bullshit.
- 48:53Speaker 6: That is a huge storyline right now. Is what is
- 48:56Speaker 6: happening with Aaron Rodgers? And why are the Steelers.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Just ignoring him? Oh, they're not ignoring him. There's already
- 49:08Speaker 3: a deal in place. He's the quarterback, folks, there's no doubt.
- 49:11Speaker 3: But he's just not committing to anything because he doesn't
- 49:15Speaker 3: want to do anything until it's close to football season.
- 49:18Speaker 3: And you might say, well, he's earned that, Okay, fair,
- 49:22Speaker 3: he's earned it. But I also know Tom Brady, Peyton Manning,
- 49:26Speaker 3: all those other guys. They came to those trainings, they
- 49:29Speaker 3: bonded with their teams, they got with the receiver.
- 49:31Speaker 4: That's the whole they worked out. This isn't this isn't something.
- 49:34Speaker 3: It's like, oh, I'll just rolled in and because I
- 49:36Speaker 3: had a you know, some good game and he didn't.
- 49:38Speaker 3: I'm not saying he played bad at New York.
- 49:40Speaker 4: He didn't.
- 49:41Speaker 3: He had he was okay at the end of the season.
- 49:45Speaker 3: But but yeah, I want to see Mike tomlins uh
- 49:48Speaker 3: record every year as far as far as.
- 49:54Speaker 4: His record, because I.
- 49:55Speaker 3: Think the whole. I think the whole. That's his championship.
- 49:58Speaker 3: I think the whole. This is it's annoying, and I
- 50:01Speaker 3: understand that's great. Okay, so you're missing you're missing the
- 50:10Speaker 3: Yes keep saying it to go to his name and
- 50:14Speaker 3: click on it.
- 50:15Speaker 2: And which is well generally it.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Just gives you just just just click on that.
- 50:19Speaker 4: But anyway, there you go.
- 50:22Speaker 3: Now look at his coaching record, and uh, I want
- 50:26Speaker 3: to talk about that a little bit.
- 50:28Speaker 4: And head coaching.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Record was in Cincinnati. I forget about that Arkansas State.
- 50:35Speaker 3: No, I mean he was, and he got that job young.
- 50:36Speaker 3: It was supposed to go to the offensive line coach
- 50:39Speaker 3: for Pittsburgh. He didn't get it. No, Cowra is already gone. Actually,
- 50:47Speaker 3: the rumor has it, and I'm not saying this is true.
- 50:49Speaker 3: The rumor has that they interviewed him because they had
- 50:51Speaker 3: to because he was black.
- 50:52Speaker 4: I'm not saying that.
- 50:55Speaker 3: They impressed him so much they hired him, and they
- 50:57Speaker 3: didn't hire their old offensive lineman that later went to Arizona.
- 51:02Speaker 3: I think so crumb. Now what was his name? I
- 51:05Speaker 3: figured out?
- 51:06Speaker 6: All right, So twenty seven, ten and six, first year, Okay,
- 51:09Speaker 6: lost to Jacksonville in the wildcard.
- 51:11Speaker 4: Fair good year.
- 51:12Speaker 6: Twenty eight, twelve and four, Yeah, super Bowl champions right,
- 51:15Speaker 6: big Ben's first one sucond.
- 51:19Speaker 4: Like appearance because they only won one.
- 51:22Speaker 2: No, it wouldn't appearance.
- 51:23Speaker 6: It was because it lost for the one two thousand
- 51:27Speaker 6: and nine to nine and seven, don't make the playoffs.
- 51:30Speaker 6: Twenty ten, you're twelve and four, sure, and twenty eleven
- 51:33Speaker 6: twelve and four, and.
- 51:36Speaker 2: You go to the super Bowl again and we lose
- 51:37Speaker 2: to the Packers.
- 51:38Speaker 3: Nothing wrong with that, still got big Ben.
- 51:40Speaker 2: Go ahead, and then you go and you lose to
- 51:44Speaker 2: the Broncos and the.
- 51:44Speaker 6: Wild card in twenty eleven, God that the last time
- 51:48Speaker 6: the Denver Broncos were And then you get into twenty twelve,
- 51:54Speaker 6: twenty thirteen, and you're five hundred both years, No, losing record,
- 51:59Speaker 6: right right. Twenty fourteen, you're eleven and five. You lose
- 52:03Speaker 6: in the wild card game. Okay, nothing wrong with that
- 52:06Speaker 6: to a conference rival.
- 52:08Speaker 3: Now remember and during this time though, how bad the
- 52:12Speaker 3: Browns and the Bengals were.
- 52:14Speaker 4: Just remember that. Okay, so that's some of those wins.
- 52:17Speaker 6: But go ahead, uh, twenty fifteen, ten and six, loose
- 52:21Speaker 6: to Broncos in the divisional game. Twenty sixteen, eleven and five.
- 52:26Speaker 6: You lose to the Patriots in the championship game. Twenty seventeen,
- 52:30Speaker 6: thirteen and three. You lose to Jacksonville again in the
- 52:34Speaker 6: divisional game twenty eighteen, nine.
- 52:38Speaker 2: And six and one. Let's not forget that. That was
- 52:41Speaker 2: that tire year that everybody's piss he has had. Two
- 52:44Speaker 2: ti yeers twenty nineteen, eight hundred, twenty twenty five hundred,
- 52:50Speaker 2: twenty twenty twelve and four, lose to the Browns.
- 52:54Speaker 3: That's a bad loss.
- 52:55Speaker 2: That was Baker Mayfield.
- 52:58Speaker 4: No, yeah, that might have been.
- 53:00Speaker 2: That had to been.
- 53:02Speaker 6: Okay, Okay, twenty twenty one, nine to seven and one,
- 53:05Speaker 6: you lose to Kansas City, who is now the new superteam. Sure,
- 53:10Speaker 6: twenty twenty two, you're a game above five hundred twenty
- 53:15Speaker 6: twenty three.
- 53:15Speaker 3: That's Ben Roethlisberger's first year out twenty twenty two.
- 53:21Speaker 4: Yeah, so nine and eight, now your third f C.
- 53:23Speaker 2: That was Knnie Pickett, third.
- 53:24Speaker 3: In the AFC, third in the ANFC, second AFC at
- 53:27Speaker 3: ten and seventeen seven. That's not bad. No, no one's bitching.
- 53:30Speaker 3: I mean I'm bitching because I'm not bitching. I just
- 53:33Speaker 3: I think the narrative gets old. I just I'm kind
- 53:36Speaker 3: of tired of it. And and now they're banking. They
- 53:40Speaker 3: are banking on well, they don't want to fire Tomlan
- 53:43Speaker 3: because he's gonna have a job anywhere else he wants
- 53:46Speaker 3: to go, and they fear that that's first because he
- 53:50Speaker 3: would And sometimes you just need a new atmosphere or whatever.
- 53:54Speaker 3: You know. Sometimes, you know, not every you know, there's
- 53:56Speaker 3: many coaches. I don't know that that's say you're gonna
- 53:58Speaker 3: like coach for X amount of years and you know
- 54:00Speaker 3: then you're done.
- 54:01Speaker 2: I don't know that that works in the NFL the
- 54:03Speaker 2: way that it does everywhere else.
- 54:05Speaker 3: Well you kind of say that, but now with Neil
- 54:07Speaker 3: and everything else and transfers, it might work about the same,
- 54:10Speaker 3: except they can't transfer every year. They have a little
- 54:12Speaker 3: longer contract. But no, I think that he won a
- 54:16Speaker 3: Super Bowl early and that's bought him a lot of
- 54:18Speaker 3: time and and very easily. Arizona. I'm not gonna say
- 54:25Speaker 3: shouldn't could have. They could have won that game, and
- 54:29Speaker 3: I'm not saying they should have, but you know, they
- 54:30Speaker 3: played so bad in the first half that you know,
- 54:33Speaker 3: it was just Kurt Warner looked like a shell, and
- 54:36Speaker 3: I it was like, God, it's seventeen to seven and
- 54:39Speaker 3: you do nothing in the third, then you have to
- 54:40Speaker 3: try to catch up at the end.
- 54:45Speaker 2: On another note, the UFL are having their conference champion
- 54:50Speaker 2: chips on June nighth because it's that time they like
- 54:54Speaker 2: to get their stuff done so that way they can
- 54:55Speaker 2: send their guys off to the NFL training camps.
- 54:57Speaker 4: Totally understand that. I appreciate that.
- 55:00Speaker 6: So we're gonna have DC defenders going to the BattleHawks.
- 55:03Speaker 6: Now here's the problem that the uproar that's happening right
- 55:06Speaker 6: now is there should be a game in Michigan. Michigan
- 55:12Speaker 6: had the better record than Birmingham, but the game's gonna
- 55:15Speaker 6: be held in Birmingham. The issue with that is that
- 55:20Speaker 6: there was already an event scheduled at the stadium. Oh gotcha,
- 55:27Speaker 6: So people earn an uproar about well, fives of fans.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Twenties of fans are in an uproar because of that twenties.
- 55:37Speaker 6: But again, Birmingham has made it the Stallions and the BattleHawks.
- 55:43Speaker 6: I want to say that we're gonna see a repeat
- 55:45Speaker 6: of the Stallions and the battle Hawks. But the DC
- 55:47Speaker 6: defenders have been playing very well all season.
- 55:50Speaker 3: Yeah, that they look like the best team, to be honest,
- 55:52Speaker 3: because I was looking at some statistics and stuff, and
- 55:54Speaker 3: I think, didn't they beat when they played? Have they
- 55:58Speaker 3: played yet Barrington and d C? Yeah, and DC beat him,
- 56:04Speaker 3: d C beat They believe d C beat Birmingham as well. Yes,
- 56:10Speaker 3: all right, anything else on the UNFL.
- 56:13Speaker 6: No, UFL did start, I don't have they did start,
- 56:23Speaker 6: and we know.
- 56:24Speaker 3: Well he's mumbling through that. Don't forget baseball.
- 56:28Speaker 6: There's a lot there's a lot of NFL guys, college
- 56:31Speaker 6: guys that we watched.
- 56:32Speaker 3: Over there baseball against.
- 56:36Speaker 4: We're gonna do Georgia. O.
- 56:38Speaker 3: You said Vandy cum about Fanny will Bandy will be next.
- 56:42Speaker 3: That'll be Vandy versus Georgia. I'm sorry, Vandy versus ou
- 56:46Speaker 3: Like I said Vandy hadn't played. That's coming up. I'm
- 56:49Speaker 3: trying to see if I can get a time on
- 56:50Speaker 3: that maybe tomorrow and then also yes, tomorrow night six
- 56:58Speaker 3: thirty Central time. Uh. And then you've got oh you
- 57:02Speaker 3: five thirty, I think five to five thirty softball.
- 57:05Speaker 2: In three days. In three days, the European League of
- 57:10Speaker 2: Football starts.
- 57:14Speaker 3: Cool.
- 57:16Speaker 4: I don't watch it.
- 57:17Speaker 2: You really should well, I don't watch it either because
- 57:19Speaker 2: it's on a weird channel, like it's not broadcast here,
- 57:25Speaker 2: and even looking at the package just to watch it,
- 57:28Speaker 2: it's probably no, it's like four. But they changed, they
- 57:36Speaker 2: changed providers.
- 57:37Speaker 3: Oh gotcha. Hey, listen, we're gonna uh as we get
- 57:42Speaker 3: closer to football, because that's our bread and butter here, We're.
- 57:46Speaker 4: Gonna do some over under stuff soon.
- 57:48Speaker 3: But I did want to mention that this was schedule
- 57:51Speaker 3: release obviously for the NFL right now, stupidly, right now,
- 57:57Speaker 3: right now, the Giants. Who has the probably the hottest
- 58:00Speaker 3: coaches see right now is h Giants currently so far
- 58:06Speaker 3: the highest schedule, their hardest schedule compared to last year.
- 58:11Speaker 3: Bears Lions are tied for two, Eagles four, and then
- 58:14Speaker 3: Dallas Packers and Vikings all the.
- 58:16Speaker 6: Boys right there so interesting thing about the Cowboys. I
- 58:21Speaker 6: was reading that they have one of the weirdest schedules
- 58:26Speaker 6: this season.
- 58:27Speaker 4: As far as like travel or what's.
- 58:29Speaker 6: Something about you have your playing like every Thursday game
- 58:34Speaker 6: a lot of Thursdays, like your Christmas, your Thanksgiving, your
- 58:39Speaker 6: They do have those. Yeah, there's another one that they got.
- 58:43Speaker 3: Also, there's more European overseas. There's more overseas games this
- 58:48Speaker 3: year too. I think Minnesota is staying over in Europe
- 58:52Speaker 3: for two games in a row because they're gonna fly between.
- 58:56Speaker 3: I don't remember, I can't I should know this, but
- 58:58Speaker 3: it was like between it was between London and Jermy Munich.
- 59:06Speaker 2: The yeah they do.
- 59:06Speaker 4: They're doing their Unich.
- 59:07Speaker 2: They're doing Munich. I think there's another. Oh here it
- 59:11Speaker 2: is the weird aspect.
- 59:14Speaker 6: Will face six teams in a stretch for weeks twelve
- 59:16Speaker 6: to seventeen against em all won at least eleven games
- 59:18Speaker 6: of twenty twenty four.
- 59:20Speaker 4: Ouch, which is probably a lot of Division games.
- 59:24Speaker 6: Record Blake breaking four Thursday night games including the season opening.
- 59:29Speaker 4: Well and you say that though, but it's like.
- 59:31Speaker 2: Vikings will play back to back international games, first in
- 59:34Speaker 2: Dublin and then against the Steelers.
- 59:37Speaker 3: No, No, there's a game of Munich, yes, but not
- 59:39Speaker 3: themn that Yeah, and Dublin, and yet London is not
- 59:42Speaker 3: that far apart, so that was not an issue with
- 59:45Speaker 3: them to hang over there, So they're not That's what
- 59:48Speaker 3: I mean?
- 59:49Speaker 2: Was it Eagles have no back to back home games
- 59:51Speaker 2: all season?
- 59:54Speaker 3: Is it?
- 59:54Speaker 2: Is this when the Commanders will have the most standalone
- 59:57Speaker 2: games since two thousand?
- 59:59Speaker 3: What just standalone games mean?
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: That means that they are playing everybody coming off a
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: bye eight games, people coming off byes. Like I said,
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: I read this.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: Wow, who's you know that? One guy does these schedule makers.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: He sucks anyway, but you do the Commanders. We're going
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: to get a harder schedule this year. Well not necessarily harder,
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: just depens. But that's why they're listed up there as eight.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it was on CBS scores.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Did you look at that? You look at the Steelers?
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I haven't looked at I haven't looked at straight.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: Eleven was tied for eleven.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: I didn't And just for local flare Bucks were tied
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: for sixteen because that's my team, and then the forty
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: nine Ers for the easiest scheduled team this year, and
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: look at and I want to remind you when perty nine.
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: Starting in Week twelve, the Cowboys face the Eagles, Chiefs, lines,
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: Vikings and consecutive games.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Yeah, but the Vikings ain't gonna be good, so just there.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: Then they'll face the Chargers and Commanders in that stretch.
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: So I got yeah, they I figured that they would
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: have the hardest schedule.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: So how is it who's the Bears playing? So who
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: are they? Who are the Bears gonna end up.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: Playing well overall because of the conference, for one, because
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: they went off last year's total, So they're not They're
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: just they're going off last year's winning percentage. The Vikings
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: were high, obviously, the Lions are high. Packers are good.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: So that's why they're going off that.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Chiefs are Chiefs are given five prime time games. We
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: all know that.
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: Here it is, here's the Commanders with the NFL will
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: be putting them in a standalone spot for nearly half
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: of their games, five primetime games, one in Spain.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: I don't think you're saying, I don't think standalone means.
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: No, no, no, somebody does. Have somebody that's up said
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: I'm reading through this. Uh, they're playing Minnesota is playing.
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: We know that they're playing two. That's good.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Well Jacksonville did that.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: Not to in a row for different countries, No.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: They would go.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: They stayed in England.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: No, I think yeah, I think they did that twice.
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: Maybe three teams are pulling off a holiday doubled dip.
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: The Chiefs, Cowboys, and Lions all playing on.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: The holidays, which they should. Those are the three most
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: watched teams.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: Bengals and Ravens are making a Thanksgiving appearance, which is crazy.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Go back down because I heard Joe Burrow bitch a
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: little bit about this. They were talking about this.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: It's because it's not a home game.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: Hold on, hold well, yeah, but what would be the difference.
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: It's a third straight season for something. The Bengals are
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: for a Thursday, Yeah, for a Thursday road game.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: What's the problem. I mean they're home there is that
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: the problem is a Thursday game?
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: Is that what they're saying.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: They want to be home, they want to have the
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: home game.
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: But they can't have both.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: Go back out and read that because if they're playing
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: on oh, are they saying Christmas?
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: Is that Thursday game?
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Or Thursday games are road games?
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: Okay, okay, okay, Okay.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Okay, Titans are playing a bunch of home home games together.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: Yes, hey, look for them to maybe you know that
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: might be my team that surprises me a little.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: I don't care about the Chargers when because everybody kind
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: of does that. They're just playing each other, They're playing.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: All their and I think the Chargers have the longest
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: travel path.
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: Yeah, they're frequent fly they're they're they're gonna log thirty
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: seven thousand miles.
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: Carolina's Week one opponents and Jaguars And where's that one.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: At probably at home?
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: Looks like, oh no, here's what it was because for
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: the third time in front of the Panthers opening against
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: the season against the Jaguars, they've gone to the Super Bowl.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: Gotcha, gotcha, don't worry about that.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Let's see hey.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: And look up anybody there.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: We're talking about Trevor Lawrence and my son and your
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: love affair of Trevor Lawrence. Love're pretty comparable to Daniel Jones.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: But anyway, go ahead.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: They're only four I know. I'd send you those I know,
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: but my four.
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: Teams in the NFL will have to play their first
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: two games on the road this year. Panthers, Giants, Niners
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: and Bucks. Yes, uh, refer the end of season.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Obviously, the Cowboys probably the Yeah.
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: Yeah, so it is the Commanders. The Commanders will be
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: facing an NFL four teams that are coming up bys. Yes,
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: but record, it's an NFL record of four teams coming
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: up by.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: I don't know who did the scheduling this year. Lions.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Lions are getting rest for all their games.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: Yeah, but you know their schedule strength is very tough.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: Let's see three teams shut out of primetime this year, Saints, Titans.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: And Browns.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: That surprises me with the I thought there was a
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: rule that you had to have no prime time you
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: just gotta be no. I think there's I don't think
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: there is any rule anymore about that, but.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: It gonna swore. At one point there was a rule
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: that every team had to play at least one prime time.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: I'm surprised that I think that you watch Browns or
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: Titans will get flex later in the year. Can I
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: think that because they want to show well and and
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: I think it could be getting close to a playoff
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: birth potentially. You know, you look at twelve, twelve to
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: fourteen or whatever that ladies and gentlemen all right, Thank
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: you all for joining us. We're done here. We'll see
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: you next week. We'll get Like I said, we'll talk
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: a lot of basketball, a lot of hockey.
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: Thanks for joining us. We should have watched that Pacers game.
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: Look like it was good. We thought it was over.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: And that's what we do here. We just are wrong, wrong,
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: wrong on sports.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: That's where we're sports allegendly.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: And you thought that the Dallas the Dallas Edmonton game
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: was over. I did.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: I did three one three one in the second. You're like,
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: that's done, that's done done. Didn't even watch it, flipped
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: it back to basketball. Right, Thank you all for join us.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: We'll see you next week. I love you.
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: By demigrated, templaning and then magaging. The government are melted
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: a
