- 0:03Speaker 1: This is a Bramble Jam podcast this week on your
- 0:13Speaker 1: Gabble Gabble. If somebody serves you raw fried chicken and
- 0:16Speaker 1: you try to steal your money back, can they assault you?
- 0:19Speaker 1: Judge Geno's got all the breakdown. And if you throw
- 0:22Speaker 1: your friend's saxophone to the ground and it breaks, do
- 0:25Speaker 1: you have to pay him back or does it just blow?
- 0:27Speaker 1: Judge Judy tell this real b ball cases. Thank justice.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Go go stand up on your feet and move it
- 0:39Speaker 1: and groove it. Stand up on your feet and move
- 0:42Speaker 1: it and groove it. Hello, every we sang that song
- 0:47Speaker 1: weirdly enough while sitting well, you did not take our
- 0:49Speaker 1: own advice and stand up. We moved in grooves. It's
- 0:54Speaker 1: sitting down there plenty of yes, friends, Yes, we have
- 0:57Speaker 1: have to show our moving groove crid. No, I think
- 1:00Speaker 1: we've we've earned the respect of the people right right
- 1:05Speaker 1: while we say stand. I hope everybody's doing well. A
- 1:08Speaker 1: couple a couple of good cases today, I hope. Yeah,
- 1:13Speaker 1: it's cold sounding more like a horse. Yeah, we got
- 1:18Speaker 1: a couple of good ones. You went to Judge Judy
- 1:20Speaker 1: with I did, which I haven't been to in a
- 1:21Speaker 1: long time. I don't know if you've ever been to
- 1:23Speaker 1: Judge Judy. I think I've been there maybe once. Remember
- 1:25Speaker 1: we had a short judge Judies my home. Yes that
- 1:27Speaker 1: was stupid? Sure, sure, okay, can you still find it
- 1:32Speaker 1: on the tea public? I don't think so. Man, man, good,
- 1:39Speaker 1: that's good. Maybe we need to get a legal sauce.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's getting the legal sauce. People would not
- 1:46Speaker 1: read that and be like, what about oh that Thomas.
- 1:53Speaker 1: It says it like we would say. I think it does.
- 2:00Speaker 1: He's a little shorter. Judy is a little bit shorter.
- 2:02Speaker 1: And we're dealing with a couple of shorties here. Uh
- 2:05Speaker 1: and I mean by that as children. I'm okay, we're
- 2:08Speaker 1: talking about uh shod I'm not talking about shoties, talking
- 2:13Speaker 1: about shorties, short shorties in the building. Yes, So why
- 2:17Speaker 1: don't you got I got personal injury court? Why don't
- 2:19Speaker 1: you go first? All right? Well, I think this is
- 2:21Speaker 1: probably going to be the biggest gap in what somebody
- 2:26Speaker 1: is suing for mount wise compared to Judy. And oh
- 2:30Speaker 1: for sure, because what we have here is three hundred
- 2:33Speaker 1: and fifty two dollars and twenty two six I imagine here's
- 2:36Speaker 1: going to be a lot of that big, bigger. Can
- 2:39Speaker 1: I ask you this is it a new Judy with
- 2:41Speaker 1: like the Purple Road. No, this is ultient, this is
- 2:43Speaker 1: very old. All right, this is prime prime Jude, prime Jude.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Plaintiff Daniel is suing a defendant, Brian. We don't get
- 2:55Speaker 1: they're miners, Daniel is suing Brian. Yes, in a turn
- 2:58Speaker 1: of events, Yes, little deckers, little deckers. Daniel's thirteen, Brian's twelve. Okay, okay, okay.
- 3:05Speaker 1: So their parents are there, Okay. Their parents start off
- 3:10Speaker 1: at the podiums, and Judy immediately tells them to sit down.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna talk only to the to the children, which
- 3:18Speaker 1: is interesting class. So she asked Brian, I'm sorry. She
- 3:22Speaker 1: asked Daniel, who is the plaintiff, Daniel, how many times
- 3:25Speaker 1: in the past three years have your parents had to
- 3:27Speaker 1: come to school for disciplinary reasons? And Daniel says none.
- 3:33Speaker 1: She asked Brian the same questions. Brian says three. Judy says,
- 3:37Speaker 1: how do you think I knew that? I see it
- 3:39Speaker 1: on your face? Oh my god, come on, Judy, see
- 3:43Speaker 1: it on your face. Judy was at the January sixth
- 3:48Speaker 1: she says, says, I see your your trouble up there,
- 3:53Speaker 1: she says, your trouble you got attitude. Judy started the hang.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Mike pins your trouble you get attitude. Attitude is fine,
- 4:07Speaker 1: but it has to be channeled. That's what I'm gonna
- 4:09Speaker 1: try to do today. So out of the case. Daniel
- 4:14Speaker 1: says that one day after school, he's with Brian and
- 4:19Speaker 1: two other kids. Daniel says that they were all standing
- 4:22Speaker 1: in a circle around his saxophone. His saxophone is on
- 4:26Speaker 1: the floor and they're doing a little circle, like just
- 4:29Speaker 1: in a circle. He says, what are we all doing
- 4:31Speaker 1: standing around my sex? We're gonna praise it. They all laugh, big,
- 4:36Speaker 1: big joke, big joke for Daniel. Then for some reason
- 4:41Speaker 1: the boys turn on them and they start making funny,
- 4:45Speaker 1: some unfunny jokes about him. And that's when Brian, for
- 4:49Speaker 1: no real reason, picks up the sacks throws it at
- 4:53Speaker 1: a wall. Brian's like, this is something that what happened
- 5:00Speaker 1: in middle school? Yeah, exactly right, I'll throw this brass instrument.
- 5:05Speaker 1: You know, you're not really thinking it through, and he
- 5:07Speaker 1: just says, whoops. The sacks was in a bag, you know,
- 5:13Speaker 1: like a soft case, not a hard case, a soft
- 5:16Speaker 1: case precic and save sacks. Oh, all right, we did it.
- 5:28Speaker 1: That's it. That's the point. What are we even doing here?
- 5:33Speaker 1: But when he goes to play the sacks later, he
- 5:36Speaker 1: some of the notes aren't coming out, so there's some damaged.
- 5:40Speaker 1: He was thrown against the wall, some damage to the sacks.
- 5:46Speaker 1: So Brian claims that Brian's version is a little bit different, different,
- 5:52Speaker 1: a little bit different. Brian's claims that Daniel or one
- 5:56Speaker 1: of his friends he can't remember, starts to make fun
- 5:59Speaker 1: of b was a good story story. They were saying
- 6:03Speaker 1: stuff about his mom or one of his family members
- 6:06Speaker 1: he doesn't remember. So he gets mad. He picks up
- 6:11Speaker 1: the sacks bag, throws it against the wall, and now
- 6:13Speaker 1: he says, I didn't know there was a saxon. I
- 6:17Speaker 1: don't know there was a sax in that bag. Judy says.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Judy says, what does you think was in the saxophone bag?
- 6:23Speaker 1: And she's and he says, uh, maybe jim clothes or something.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So she calls the parents back up, and Daniel's mom
- 6:33Speaker 1: gives her a pair quote for the sacks of three
- 6:36Speaker 1: hundred and fifty two dollars and twenty two cents. She
- 6:39Speaker 1: asks Brian's dad if he believes his son. He says,
- 6:43Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. There's no excuse to break an instrument.
- 6:47Speaker 1: So the dad wants Judy to rule in the favor
- 6:49Speaker 1: of the plaintiff. Well, and hold on, it's a bold
- 6:54Speaker 1: move by a dad. He why not just make his
- 6:56Speaker 1: son pay it? Well, he does think that they're asked
- 7:00Speaker 1: too much to fix your Okay, okay, okay, so I gotch.
- 7:04Speaker 1: He gives Judy the same exact quote that uh, Brian,
- 7:10Speaker 1: that Daniel's mom gave Judy, and he says that some
- 7:13Speaker 1: of the items on this are general maintenance and he
- 7:17Speaker 1: doesn't think that should be including the quote. Okay. She
- 7:21Speaker 1: then lectures Brian about growing up to be a good person.
- 7:25Speaker 1: She hates Brian. Uh yeah, yeah, just we're just lays
- 7:29Speaker 1: an now kid in her heart. Umm, Judy's ready to rule.
- 7:33Speaker 1: You got to give him the money. This is absurd
- 7:35Speaker 1: to a sacks back thought it was full of close.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Get out of here. Dad says he should pay the money,
- 7:40Speaker 1: but not the right amount. Get out of here. No, no,
- 7:43Speaker 1: absolutely not. The full amount three hundred and fifty two
- 7:46Speaker 1: dollars and twenty two cents is going to Daniel and
- 7:48Speaker 1: Daniel's mom to fix the Sacks so that Daniel can
- 7:51Speaker 1: grow up to be a wonderful sexist, a wonderful sexist,
- 7:55Speaker 1: not a saxophonist, No saxist sexist. It would be an
- 8:00Speaker 1: Anglo sexist. He plays music, but he hates women. Yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 1: he's a sexist. Yeah, it's a good combo. His way
- 8:10Speaker 1: to hide his sexism, for sure. And that is why
- 8:13Speaker 1: we never do judge Judy on your guest. It was
- 8:16Speaker 1: a good It was a good time seeing her immediately
- 8:20Speaker 1: just lay into this kid, was like, Yeah, that's Judy,
- 8:23Speaker 1: that's Judy. She's literally said, I can see it in
- 8:26Speaker 1: your face. She said, I can see you're a terrible
- 8:29Speaker 1: kid on your face, she said. She asked, uh, Brian's
- 8:34Speaker 1: dad if he has any other kids, and he says, yes,
- 8:38Speaker 1: I have won one more, a daughter. And she says,
- 8:42Speaker 1: I have quite a few kids, and I can tell
- 8:46Speaker 1: on a face when one of them a troublemaker. Oh
- 8:49Speaker 1: my gosh, So shout out to Judy's kids. Sure they're
- 8:53Speaker 1: all doing doing well, doing well. Dan, What do we
- 8:56Speaker 1: got We got a little personal in record, oh gino,
- 9:02Speaker 1: one of my faves we've got until the verdict, You've
- 9:04Speaker 1: got eldren stamps the verdict is always wrong. Eldrick Stamp,
- 9:09Speaker 1: Eldren Stamps, Eldrick Woods, Eldrick Woods, as tape from Eldren Stamps,
- 9:14Speaker 1: Eldren Stamps and Frank Farmer in the courtroom, real names,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and I didn't look A lot of this case feels fake.
- 9:22Speaker 1: There's video, so it is a video. Eldren Stamps is
- 9:26Speaker 1: suing Frank Farmer for thirty five thousand dollars of past
- 9:31Speaker 1: medical got it and one hundred and twenty five thousand
- 9:34Speaker 1: dollars in emotional distress for a total of one hundred
- 9:38Speaker 1: and sixty thousand dollars. Let's it's a low end for
- 9:42Speaker 1: personal end. Let's get into that legal saw. Eldren Stamps
- 9:46Speaker 1: is like he's an older dude, New York accent. He's like,
- 9:49Speaker 1: it's a beautiful day. Thought i'd take my girl out
- 9:51Speaker 1: for a nice dinner. And I heard this place has
- 9:54Speaker 1: fantastic chicken. It's a chicken place. Great. He's like, I
- 9:57Speaker 1: can't remember the name of it. What's the name? And
- 9:59Speaker 1: Frank Farmer says very proudly that the name of his
- 10:03Speaker 1: chicken restaurant is my leg your thigh, ha ha. That
- 10:10Speaker 1: is a name that this older gentleman with slick back
- 10:13Speaker 1: hair has as his chicken restaurant. I leg your thigh,
- 10:17Speaker 1: My leg your thigh. Honestly, don't really even understand. I
- 10:20Speaker 1: don't understand it, but it makes me uncomfortable that I
- 10:23Speaker 1: don't want to eat there. Leigh. He's like, look, I
- 10:27Speaker 1: sat down to eat. The fried chicken comes out. It
- 10:31Speaker 1: smelled great. I took a bite. The chicken was raw.
- 10:34Speaker 1: He is a picture of the chicken. It is raw. Wow,
- 10:38Speaker 1: this isn't like cold. It's fried. The outside is fried
- 10:42Speaker 1: the inside, which can happen. You can fry a chicken
- 10:45Speaker 1: and it should be wrong on the inside. As churches,
- 10:47Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. You just don't like churches. I don't
- 10:50Speaker 1: care about church more. Chicken was wrang. We see a
- 10:53Speaker 1: picture of the audience. It's like whoa eldren stamps doesn't
- 10:56Speaker 1: He's just like constantly so raw. It's blah blah blah
- 10:59Speaker 1: blah blah. And Gina's like calming him down constantly. You
- 11:02Speaker 1: stop stuff stuff. It's like, mister farmer, uh, tell me
- 11:05Speaker 1: about your restaurant. He's like, it's a chicken place. Like
- 11:07Speaker 1: it's not fancy, like we us fried chicken. We need chicken, wings, fries,
- 11:10Speaker 1: basic stuff here we got. He's like, is it a
- 11:12Speaker 1: special recipes that we had thirty special sauces. You will
- 11:15Speaker 1: toss them on whatever sauce you want to have owned
- 11:17Speaker 1: it for five years. I've never had this issue ever before.
- 11:21Speaker 1: And I would have fixed this issue had he come
- 11:23Speaker 1: and asked me to fix the issue. Elgren jumps back in,
- 11:26Speaker 1: took a bite. I thought I was gonna get ill,
- 11:29Speaker 1: Like I could hear my mom talking about chicken hands
- 11:32Speaker 1: and all the diseases you could get from touching raw chicken.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I thought I was gonna get pneumonia, which I think,
- 11:38Speaker 1: I think, yeah, I don't think that's how that work
- 11:40Speaker 1: comes from that that my mother used to say, chicken hands,
- 11:42Speaker 1: chicken hands, chicken hands, chicken hands, chicken on my garnea,
- 11:48Speaker 1: uh simonilla with my home man right. And he's like,
- 11:53Speaker 1: I walked over and I showed him the chicken and
- 11:54Speaker 1: asked for a refund. That that is what happened, and
- 11:58Speaker 1: fro Farmers like, uh no. He came over yelling and screaming,
- 12:01Speaker 1: and I told him I'd fix it, but he never
- 12:02Speaker 1: let me explain. And Eldrin's just talking over him and
- 12:05Speaker 1: at this point, Gina's like, we're gonna have order in
- 12:08Speaker 1: this courtroom. Are And then he says, this is not
- 12:10Speaker 1: a baseball field because you know, I don't know what
- 12:14Speaker 1: like you could say, like this is not a swap meat.
- 12:19Speaker 1: This is not something where there's like a baseball field,
- 12:22Speaker 1: there's a lot like, it's not a baseball field. This
- 12:24Speaker 1: is a courtroom. We're gonna have order in this courtroom.
- 12:27Speaker 1: There's no order on this. Frank Farmer then says, listen,
- 12:31Speaker 1: we don't do refunds. There's a picture's pictures everywhere. There's
- 12:35Speaker 1: no refunds. It's a company policy posted throughout the store.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I was trying to offer to fix this. I would
- 12:42Speaker 1: have made it right. I was very sorry I had
- 12:45Speaker 1: a dealt with But sometimes after you listen, sometimes after
- 12:48Speaker 1: you bite into rod chicken, you don't want chickens like
- 12:50Speaker 1: I got. I had raw chicken. You don't want I
- 12:52Speaker 1: want raw chicken. You want to rest. And he was
- 12:54Speaker 1: not gonna fix it. He was gonna cook my same
- 12:56Speaker 1: chicken with a bite out of it. That's what he
- 12:58Speaker 1: was gonna do with his Samonella. Chicken hands, chicking hands,
- 13:02Speaker 1: chicken hands. That's what my mom always said. And He's like,
- 13:04Speaker 1: chicken hands, chicken hand. And Frank Farmer's like, no, but
- 13:06Speaker 1: I would have remade it. I would have done it. And
- 13:08Speaker 1: he never get me the opportunity, and and and Gina's like,
- 13:11Speaker 1: so what's the problem, Like where's the injury come in?
- 13:13Speaker 1: And Elgrind's like, so he wouldn't give me a refund.
- 13:16Speaker 1: So I looked in the register was open. I grabbed
- 13:19Speaker 1: my money from the register and walked out the door.
- 13:23Speaker 1: He robbed the place. Frank Farmer's like, he never asked
- 13:27Speaker 1: me for like, he never asked me to fix it.
- 13:29Speaker 1: He wouldn't let me do. He just kept screaming about
- 13:31Speaker 1: a refund. Screaming kept getting more and more. Uh, and
- 13:34Speaker 1: he wouldn't let me fix it. Eldon keeps talking NonStop.
- 13:37Speaker 1: In the background, Gina keeps telling to stop. He kept
- 13:39Speaker 1: screaming for a refund. He leaned across the counter. He
- 13:41Speaker 1: goes into my register, pulls out a water cash and
- 13:44Speaker 1: starts heading for the eggs. Eldin's like, I want to
- 13:47Speaker 1: be clear, no one else was in the place. Oh.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Eldrend's girlfriend is there, and she's doing a lot of
- 13:51Speaker 1: like nodding and miming, but she's not talking yet. Elder's like,
- 13:55Speaker 1: my cash wasn't in the register. It was right on
- 13:57Speaker 1: top there. I knew what was mine. I grabbed just
- 14:00Speaker 1: that and I just wanted to get it back so
- 14:03Speaker 1: I could leaves was on top of him. Okay, Gene's
- 14:08Speaker 1: it wasn't in the registry. He goes, no, it's on
- 14:09Speaker 1: top of the register. Farmer's like, nope, it was in
- 14:12Speaker 1: the register. Eldance like, it doesn't matter. I made it
- 14:15Speaker 1: two steps and then I'm tackled. I'm slammed to the ground. Uh.
- 14:18Speaker 1: The doors are locked and my face is being slammed
- 14:21Speaker 1: on the ground, and I've been detained by Frank. Uh
- 14:25Speaker 1: and and Gina's like did this happen? He goes, listen,
- 14:28Speaker 1: I'm counting change. When he comes up, the money's in
- 14:31Speaker 1: the register. I tell him, no refunds. He's screaming like crazy.
- 14:34Speaker 1: He grabs the money. He's trying to rob us. I
- 14:37Speaker 1: hop over the counter. I have someone locked the doors,
- 14:40Speaker 1: and I did detain him until the police get there.
- 14:42Speaker 1: That's what I'm doing. Like, that's that's that, That's the
- 14:45Speaker 1: whole thing. Yeah, we've got surveillance video of it. This
- 14:49Speaker 1: looks like a fake restaurant, Like, I don't know how
- 14:52Speaker 1: it's to explain it. It looks like it looks stage. It's
- 14:54Speaker 1: possible that it's not real. It looks staged like it's fake.
- 14:59Speaker 1: But I thought all of Judge Gino's cases, I don't know,
- 15:02Speaker 1: you know that one time that Gino someone was suing
- 15:05Speaker 1: because he couldn't walk, and then they have savannahs from
- 15:09Speaker 1: the stairwell of him walking up the stairs. That didn't
- 15:13Speaker 1: sit well with me either. This doesn't look real. But
- 15:15Speaker 1: on the video we have, the money is in the
- 15:19Speaker 1: like it's in the register. Yeah, like clearly in the register.
- 15:22Speaker 1: He takes it and he starts to walk away and
- 15:27Speaker 1: Frank Farmer jumps the counter and then that's then it's
- 15:29Speaker 1: out of frame. We don't see anything else. We don't
- 15:31Speaker 1: see we don't see anything else. So we bring up
- 15:35Speaker 1: girlfriend Jessica Moore. She's like, I got my phone out
- 15:38Speaker 1: and I started filming as soon as this started happening,
- 15:41Speaker 1: and that video when he tackles him, my phone dropped
- 15:46Speaker 1: and I lost it. So he sees the guy come
- 15:48Speaker 1: over and he kind of like grabs him off screen,
- 15:51Speaker 1: and then it's done. It's gone. We don't see any
- 15:53Speaker 1: more of it, and he's like he heard of the counter.
- 15:55Speaker 1: He's pummeling my boyfriend. Farmer's like, look, I didn't even
- 15:59Speaker 1: tell he sees me, and he just drops down to
- 16:02Speaker 1: the ground and I lean over and just detain him
- 16:05Speaker 1: until I'm just holding on until the police get there.
- 16:07Speaker 1: That's all I'm doing. Eldred's like, no, you can hear this.
- 16:12Speaker 1: It's not his money. I pay for cooked chicken. I
- 16:14Speaker 1: don't want him to remake it. I want my money back.
- 16:16Speaker 1: And he's hitting me on the ground. I cut my chin,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I have a cut of my face, a black eye,
- 16:23Speaker 1: there's blood everywhere, and like there's he's kind of in
- 16:26Speaker 1: better shape, but he has thirty five thousand dollars of
- 16:28Speaker 1: medical bill that he showed he goes and mister Farmer
- 16:31Speaker 1: was an amateur boxer. I bet he didn't tell you that.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And Gina looks over and he's like, I bought some
- 16:36Speaker 1: in college, so what like who cares? And he's like
- 16:38Speaker 1: the cops would have been I does know that about him.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I don't know the cops would have been nicer. I
- 16:44Speaker 1: wish they would have been there. They would not have
- 16:46Speaker 1: done what he did to my face, and and Gina's like,
- 16:49Speaker 1: did you hit back? He goes, I threw when I
- 16:51Speaker 1: was detained, I threw an elbow back at him. I
- 16:53Speaker 1: threw an elbow back when I'm like getting tackled to
- 16:56Speaker 1: the ground because like I'm trying to defend myself. I
- 16:58Speaker 1: threw one elbow. That's it. That's all I did. And
- 17:00Speaker 1: then he's like, tell me about the emotional distress, and
- 17:02Speaker 1: he says, well, if somebody gets too close to me
- 17:04Speaker 1: while walking on the street, like I'm scared, like I like,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I'm not comfortable around people, it doesn't give him the right.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I may have taken money, it doesn't give him the
- 17:13Speaker 1: right to beat me to death. I'm very like I'm
- 17:16Speaker 1: not comforting public places. He has not gone to therapy,
- 17:20Speaker 1: and uh, Gina goes, mister farmer, does it give you
- 17:23Speaker 1: some pause that? Uh? Uh no, does it? Elgin? Does
- 17:27Speaker 1: it give you pause that you reaching over the counter
- 17:30Speaker 1: into their drawering, grabbing money might make them uncomfortable? And
- 17:34Speaker 1: mister farmer, does it give you pause? You can hear
- 17:36Speaker 1: him saying this that biting into raw chicken isn't right?
- 17:40Speaker 1: Is it right? You shouldn't do that? And they're both like, yeah,
- 17:43Speaker 1: we understand that. And mister Stamps, I want to be clear.
- 17:46Speaker 1: You're saying you didn't fight back at all. He goes,
- 17:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna defend myself. One elbow, that's all I threw.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Nothing else, that's it. Farmer's like, look, I didn't even
- 17:53Speaker 1: tackle him. I didn't even tackle the guy like, I
- 17:56Speaker 1: just was holding him until the police got there. And
- 17:58Speaker 1: then Gina goes, was anybody arrested when the police got there?
- 18:02Speaker 1: They said no, he goes, I know nobody was arrested.
- 18:04Speaker 1: You know, I know that because this is a civil matter.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Just because someone is hurt on someone's property doesn't mean
- 18:10Speaker 1: it's the only issue involved in a civil matter when
- 18:13Speaker 1: it comes to the law, I am ready to rule. Wow,
- 18:16Speaker 1: thirty five thousand, no plasma, the plasma for both them, ok,
- 18:19Speaker 1: grooth videos, Yes, they go to the plasma with them,
- 18:22Speaker 1: no expert, no expert witness of any kind. They go
- 18:26Speaker 1: to the they go to the ruling. But thirty five
- 18:28Speaker 1: k for past medical one twenty five for emotional distress,
- 18:33Speaker 1: totally one sixty. I don't I have a tough time
- 18:36Speaker 1: with this one. To be honest with you, this is
- 18:38Speaker 1: a tough one because do of course you rod chickens gross.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And if it was me, if I been into rob chicken,
- 18:46Speaker 1: I wouldn't want chicken after that, correct, I would need
- 18:49Speaker 1: a break, not from that established, and so I would
- 18:52Speaker 1: want a refund. Yeah. I think that a no refund
- 18:56Speaker 1: policy is h only as good as the product that
- 19:01Speaker 1: you are supplying. Correct. So if somebody had perfectly good chicken,
- 19:05Speaker 1: of course, no, really, this is raw chicken. Correct. He
- 19:11Speaker 1: should have been given a refund if he wants it. Clearly,
- 19:14Speaker 1: this is personal for you. I just think that that's important.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I think that that's important. This man, though, what had
- 19:25Speaker 1: happened was attempted robbery, Yes, And I think that if
- 19:30Speaker 1: somebody is attempting to rob you, by all means, tackle
- 19:35Speaker 1: him and hold him down. So I am going to
- 19:39Speaker 1: say that he's not going to get any money. I
- 19:41Speaker 1: think that this is somebody protecting himself from a robber
- 19:45Speaker 1: at this point, and so for that reason, I'm giving
- 19:48Speaker 1: him no money. I'm with you, Gino says, both of
- 19:51Speaker 1: you engaged in what could be a crime, you taking
- 19:54Speaker 1: money and you attacking him. The law allows you to
- 19:58Speaker 1: restrain him, but it as to be peaceable. We don't
- 20:02Speaker 1: have video evidence, but we do have evidence of this
- 20:05Speaker 1: guy's face that suggests that this restraint was not peaceable.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Having said that, mister Stamps, by throwing the elbow, you
- 20:16Speaker 1: engaged in mutual combat, which means it is no longer
- 20:21Speaker 1: peaceable restraint, and I must find against you. It is
- 20:24Speaker 1: legal for him to respond in kind if he's trying
- 20:28Speaker 1: to peaceably restrain you and you elbow him in the face,
- 20:31Speaker 1: which you admit to doing. So you are getting no money. Wow,
- 20:34Speaker 1: but only because he threw that elbow. Really he should
- 20:37Speaker 1: have lied about that. He should have Probably there's no
- 20:40Speaker 1: video evidence, so well he said, he said though like
- 20:42Speaker 1: he would. Yeah, so there probably be enough for Gino
- 20:45Speaker 1: would probably. Still, that's tough. That's a tough spot, tough
- 20:48Speaker 1: spot to be in. Can you tell me if I
- 20:50Speaker 1: own an establishment and someone is is robbing me, I
- 20:54Speaker 1: can't tackle them. You can peaceably restrain them. So what
- 20:57Speaker 1: he is saying is is the face made it like
- 21:00Speaker 1: if you had just tackled him, not all of that
- 21:02Speaker 1: wouldn't happen to his face. This is somebody getting hit
- 21:05Speaker 1: in the All right, I understand, I understand. All right,
- 21:09Speaker 1: Well there you go, we actually got we actually got
- 21:11Speaker 1: gen al Right, this time. That's a pretty good Seeing
- 21:15Speaker 1: this guy Eldrin Stamps, you'd be like, you can't give
- 21:17Speaker 1: him any money? Yeah. Fair. We'll be back next time
- 21:20Speaker 1: on another one. Until then, all rise yo. Gabble Gabbles
