- 3:47today. I am so excited to introduce my friend Bob Kelly O'Kelly. Bob
- 3:53O'Kelly, Okay, Bob O'Kelly grew up in Atlanta, graduated from the University
- 3:59of West Georgia in nineteen seventy, and was immediately drafted into combat in Vietnam.
- 4:04Most of his early adult life was spent in Atlanta selling building materials.
- 4:10Later in life, he owned a residential construction company, and in his late
- 4:14fifties he was employed by the military contractor KBR as a truck driver in Iraq
- 4:20during the recent war. There. It was there he wrote his first book,
- 4:26The Original Baby Boomer, in his second, Bad Roads for Good Men.
- 4:30The Original Baby Boomer, is a novel about his experiences in Vietnam.
- 4:34Bad Roads for Goodmen is a novel about his experiences driving a truck during the
- 4:39Iraq War. On return to the States, he retired to Carrolton, Georgia.
- 4:44I'm familiar in that town and that's where he lives now. Since retiring,
- 4:48he has written four more novels under the pseudonym Roland O'Connor, and all
- 4:54his books are available on Amazon. And we're going to talk about his books
- 4:58later in the show. But please help me. Welcome to the show today,
- 5:01mister Bob O'Kelly. Hello, Bob, how are you? Hey?
- 5:06I am I'm excellent and I am so honored that you came and join me
- 5:11here today. Thank you. It will be it will be well. First
- 5:15of all, I want to thank you for your service to our country.
- 5:17Um, yes, I know that was that was quite an experience for you
- 5:24being in Vietnam. And uh, I can't even imagine just from just being
- 5:30drafted to go to Vietnam right out of college. It was a different world
- 5:34then then. That was, to say the least on our mind. Yeah,
- 5:40getting drafted, Oh my gosh, how old were you when? I
- 5:46guess I graduated at twenty two, twenty two twenty three when I got drafted,
- 5:50which is a little older than most because I wasn't college graduate. And
- 5:56yeah, also, if you were called college graduate, they tried to encourage
- 6:00you to go to officer candidate school and but the only thing they would offer
- 6:06you was an infantry job. So virtually all of us turned it down,
- 6:12and in doing so, we didn't realize but that condemned us to be being
- 6:17in combat. We didn't, you know, I went in thinking, oh,
- 6:21I got a degree, they'll put me in finance. No, you
- 6:26know, when I got to my platoon, most of the people had some
- 6:30college and some had graduated. One guy had a master's degree. We had
- 6:35one guy with only a high school diploma and one dropout. And at the
- 6:40time they were saying that only minorities were being drafted and that that's just that
- 6:48may have been true earlier in the war, but it wasn't true when I
- 6:50was there. You know. Wow, So I mean you immediately were put
- 6:55on the front lines, right, it's quite a shot. That's what the
- 6:58original baby boomers about. Um. When I worked in Iraq, I worked
- 7:03with younger truck drivers, younger military people, and they I was amazed how
- 7:10little they knew about what happened to the Boomer generation. And so that's what
- 7:15motivated me to write the book original baby Boomer and was trying to explain to
- 7:23younger people. I just felt like our story was getting lost. But the
- 7:28book has been more popular with older people than younger people because it's they can
- 7:34relate to it. But that's why I wrote it, was was to explain
- 7:41what happened. The book is largely me. It is a novel, and
- 7:46all of the Vietnam stuff is accurate. But when it comes to the rock
- 7:50Ape, I wish I had written more. We'll get into why I didn't
- 7:56a little bit a little bit, but um, well, you you had
- 8:01actually told me when when you were telling me the story about it, you
- 8:05you were very clear that you did not know what that was that y'all were
- 8:07dealing with at the time. If I had, I might have heard about
- 8:13something footprints being found bigfoot, you know, maybe, but it wasn't in
- 8:18the consciousness like it is today. We just didn't think about it. And
- 8:22when I got to Vietnam, I had heard the stories of the rock apes,
- 8:26and they were like, okay, so there's monkeys to throw rocks,
- 8:31a big deal, you know, And and I'd heard of Monkey Mountain and
- 8:35that was named by the Marines, and it didn't you know, it didn't
- 8:41so what you know, and um in the story as it happened to me,
- 8:46I guess I'll go ahead and tell it. I was like three days
- 8:52in the bush, brand new, scared to death, right, And at
- 8:56night we would camp and you know, like the old day circle of circle
- 9:03perimeter, and somebody sometimes two had to be up all night long. It
- 9:09was my turn, and so we were just sitting there and I've got my
- 9:13M sixteen across my lap, and I hear footsteps right, and footsteps it's
- 9:18imported in this and and then the trees kind of start shaking, and I
- 9:24wake up a more experienced guy and he says. At first, as I
- 9:28recall, I remember it's fifty five years ago or more, it's walking,
- 9:33and I, you know, it definitely was walking. Okay, that's important,
- 9:37and so he says, well, I won't repeat what he said,
- 9:41but he told just blink out the cuss and shoot that motherfucker. So I
- 9:48found at the at the in the in the bushes, and when I did,
- 9:56this creature ran out across ran across the perimeter. Our captain had had
- 10:03a jungle hammock, which was not military issue. He wasn't really supposed to
- 10:09have it, but he did because it sleeps better. You know, it's
- 10:13not a hammock with a cover and all keeps mosquitoes off and all that.
- 10:16Sta it flipped him over and ran out the other side. Now, for
- 10:22most of my life, I just if you read my book, it's just
- 10:28bear is mentioned, you know. And I was just only trying to get
- 10:31the humor the captain being flipped out of the bed out of it, not
- 10:35trying to say anything. And I didn't realize what I had seen until I
- 10:41watched a YouTube documentary that I have not been able to find again. But
- 10:48it you know, in this it's that there are no apes in Vietnam that
- 10:54are bipedal that walk. They're all in the trees. They don't generally move
- 10:58at night. Now, these rocket were supposed to style on you walk,
- 11:03watch and curious, you know. And that's I think what this thing was
- 11:05doing when I shot at it. And uh so when I saw this documentary,
- 11:15I realized what I had seen, and I thought, good lord,
- 11:18I saw I saw the equivalent of Bigfoot. And and and you know,
- 11:24I'm like, I know what I saw. I know you've heard that before.
- 11:28And uh and and then you know, watching this thing is um and
- 11:35the Mark Felton, which is a very good one. I found that again.
- 11:41Mark Felton is a historian. I know him because I watched a lot
- 11:46of YouTube videos about World War Two and he has a z and of them,
- 11:50and he did some on Vietnam, and in his Vietnam he did the
- 11:54one on the rocket. And uh, these things were seen first by the
- 12:03Marines and and that's that's why they named that mountain Monkey Mountain. And then
- 12:09then the Army song, the North Vietnamese song, the viet Cong song,
- 12:13and the people that the indigenous people, the mountain yards that live in the
- 12:18central islands. It's been in their culture forever and and they are there.
- 12:24I don't know. I don't think there's probably a lot of them, but
- 12:26um, it could be there, well be. And I did not know
- 12:31to I saw this documentary Mark felt was documented virtually the same thing as the
- 12:37one I originally saw. Um, I didn't know that. I didn't know
- 12:43that they didn't know, you know, everything in all the monkeys and all
- 12:48in Vietnam did not walk. I did not know that. Yeah, And
- 12:52uh, I didn't know that the mountain yards and then the indigenous people that
- 12:58that's were you know, seen them. I just didn't know what i'd seen
- 13:01and uh until I saw that. And then I met your grandmother, which
- 13:09is she's ninety two years old, just had her birthday last week's party.
- 13:16Yeah. Yeah, the last I saw he was at her birthday party.
- 13:20Yes, believe it or not. She comes to open mic here in Carrollton,
- 13:24Georgia. Everyone and and and your mother kind of follows into now and
- 13:37I late in life decided to start doing open mics. And that's how that's
- 13:43how I met your family. And your your uncle is a is a well
- 13:46known musician around and uh right, and uh, just kind of odd the
- 13:54way we met and we were talking about this stuff over loud music, trying
- 13:58to hear each other. That's right, half deaf anyway, but it was
- 14:03It's been fun, you know. Yeah. Well I'm excited that I met
- 14:07you. And I told my mother, you know, because you and I
- 14:09actually kind of connected talking about remote viewing. Yeah. Yeah, so so
- 14:16that's so we'll get into that with your book, because you gave me one
- 14:18of your books and it's it's pretty amazing. And I'm impressed with your remote
- 14:22viewing skills by the way. Uh you know I do a show on remote
- 14:26viewing on Thursdays. Yeah, well, you know I can't draw, and
- 14:31he claim to fame with that. I kind of felt like I quit while
- 14:35I was ahead. You know, well that's okay. Yeah, And and
- 14:39and you know, when you're remote viewing, you don't need to know what
- 14:43you're viewing. In fact, you need You're not supposed to, that's right.
- 14:46And and you know, in day to day life for me, what
- 14:52I would like to view, I know what it is, so that kind
- 14:56of limits you. You know that somebody and as to remote view something and
- 15:01gives you a reference number, you know what I mean, yeah, that's
- 15:09that's different. And now the only thing that I did to learn remote viewing
- 15:13was watched I think her name was Prudence Cara Vic, don't I remember that
- 15:18she had a course on YouTube and all it was was a weekend course you'd
- 15:24given somewhere. They just filmed it and it was long, and I just
- 15:28played like I was there and did what they said and then started. I
- 15:33think that's called sight monkey or something where they give you coordinates and you remote
- 15:39view and then you look a picture and you see how you did. And
- 15:43I was doing remarkably well, and I thought, I just I didn't have
- 15:50a really a use for it. But I thought, you know, I'm
- 15:52quitting while I'm ahead, because I was really I was tearing it up,
- 15:56and I thought, you can't keep this up at this um uh right,
- 16:03you know. Yeah, Well, well, you know what, I think
- 16:06it'd be interesting to remote view that the incident that you had with the rock
- 16:11ape out in Vietnam. I think that would be something a cool target for
- 16:14me to do. Actually, yeah, but you know what it is?
- 16:17Yeah, well, okay, well how about can you describe kind of what
- 16:21this rock ape looked like or whatever? This feeling was, you know,
- 16:26it ran, it did not leave off or swing off trees. And I
- 16:32you asked how tall it was. I don't think it was six feet tall,
- 16:37but it was like way bigger than five five five eight something like that
- 16:41about my height. Okay, yeah, that's three tall actually, I mean,
- 16:47you know, yeah, and uh, it seemed to happen. Now,
- 16:55you gotta remember it's dark out there. When it's dark, Uh,
- 17:02it's just really hard to see. But it appeared to have for and and
- 17:10I don't know that I could say what color it was. It was just
- 17:11a dark shape running across the thing, now, believe you mean. And
- 17:18it should not be hard to find other gis that saw rock apes over there.
- 17:22It was relatively common where we were. Now, if you were in
- 17:26the south part of Vietnam, you probably never never, might not have heard
- 17:30it. But we were in the central highlands where they where they where they
- 17:37are. You know. Let's see, I've got a map here. Let's
- 17:40see if you're on if if you're the location where you were is on this
- 17:44map. Okay, a little bit south of denying about where that first hump
- 17:51appears, maybe between the first and second zag back right around in there,
- 18:00so wow, where we were south of denying that I was in the America.
- 18:06They're headquartered in July, which is south of Denye, and I was
- 18:10in the eleventh wor Gade which was a duct foe, which is south of
- 18:14that, and then we would go north, I think, if I recall,
- 18:18it was twelve miles to a firebase called San Juan Hill and that's where
- 18:23we worked off of them. But when we would you know, they would
- 18:26pick us up in helicopters there and take us wherever. You know, it's
- 18:32always in that area. But you know, we really didn't know where we
- 18:34were, you know. So well, when I saw those documentaries, they
- 18:41were dead on the money, you know as to where the area we were
- 18:45in. It's not it's you know, so that was made it more credible.
- 18:51I guess. Yeah, well, Michael's in the chain. Michael,
- 18:53he says that, yeah, there was. The Mark Felton production video is
- 18:57about fifteen minutes of a lot of information and it doesn't really it really jam
- 19:02packs everything into that fifteen minutes that first video. It really does, and
- 19:07it's very convincing too. He doesn't say yes, they're there, but he
- 19:11sure makes a strong case and then then says, you know, g guys
- 19:15out of their mind. And I don't think it's just too I think too
- 19:21many people have seen these things too well discounted. Well, there was actually,
- 19:27uh, these predate the Americans being there for sure. The locals,
- 19:33they're referred to the jungle people, okay out there before before the Americans ever
- 19:38showed up in the mis named them the rock apes. Yeah, well yeah,
- 19:44and didn't that sort of sounds like the bigfoot sasquashing from the Indians because
- 19:49those I understand, you know way more about this than I do. Oh
- 19:52no, I know a little bit. How much I just learned. I
- 19:57just started learning from it. You you what, I just started learning about
- 20:03it after I met you and I asked you to come on my show.
- 20:04I had to do my research. Well, I'm talking about Bigfoot. Oh,
- 20:07Bigfoot absolutely, now you know, that's been their history, the Native
- 20:15America's history forever. You know. Some people say they're ancient. They they
- 20:18are some of the first beings on this planet, and they well may well
- 20:22be. I have some strange ideas stuff I don't know if I want to
- 20:29get into it or not. Well, well, you're listen. I am
- 20:30a very I'm one of the more open minded people you're ever going to meet,
- 20:34probably, And I know that you and I are on the same frequency,
- 20:37Bob, Yeah, we are, we are, We really are.
- 20:41Yeah. So I mean you can discuss whatever, whatever your opinions are on
- 20:44it if you want. I mean, let's just say when I was in
- 20:47the tenth grade taking biology and they tried to explain evolution. Well, I
- 20:52don't have a problem with things evolving, but then they said that the force
- 20:56that causes was natural selection. And I want now, and I don't know
- 21:04what if I'm sticking myself out here, I say, I talk about being
- 21:11interdivisional and stuff, and then and then go back into being spirit and then
- 21:17crystallize until finally they just stay, you know, and um, you know,
- 21:25maybe that's what goodfoot does. It may not be physical all the time.
- 21:30Yeah, now that's to me is out there, but I have had
- 21:34that thought. Let's just put it that way. Well, well, I
- 21:37can tell you from experience that I have watched orbs float through the woods and
- 21:42then right as the orb disappears, there's a growl and a grunt from a
- 21:45big foot right in front of me in the treatment. Really, yes,
- 21:48I've seen. Okay, yes, and not a boss was there. She's
- 21:53in the chat today, I know, yeah, she was there with me.
- 21:56Hundreds of people listening and some of this uff. I don't tell her
- 22:00my best friends. We're gonna say, thousands of people listening today. Okay.
- 22:04I was when I was driving a cub not in a rack in Cartersville,
- 22:11Georgia. I'm sitting waiting to go into the Budweiser plant there and I
- 22:15saw an orb in daylight just come floating by, you know. I called
- 22:19I was married. Then I called my wife and said, you're not gonna
- 22:23believe what I just saw, you know, So there you go. What
- 22:27was it solid or was it like see through? More like a distortion of
- 22:34the light and everything, you know, like kind of looking through a lens
- 22:40or water as it went by. You know, it was very strange.
- 22:45Well, you were very open minded, Bob, and I appreciate that about
- 22:48you. Well, thank you. Yes. Do you do you think that
- 22:55you having that experience not knowing what the rock ape was, if that was
- 22:59a rock ape, do you think that once you realized what that was,
- 23:00did that expand your consciousness in any kind of way or were you all no
- 23:06it really didn't because I was too terrified because I was just in Vietnam,
- 23:14hadn't been there a few days, and it just um, I wasn't thinking
- 23:18about anything like that. You know. Yeah, I'm sorry I froze there,
- 23:26but I was cool and kept talking. Thank you. I know,
- 23:29I was like, oh I froze. It happens occasionally. Yeah. Well,
- 23:33so you you what my question was, where I got frozen? You
- 23:37know, you were you were very open minded, probably from a young age,
- 23:41I'm assuming, but do you think that having that experience and realizing that
- 23:45that could have been a rock ape, did that expand your consciousness later on?
- 23:49As I said, while you were frozen, okay, I was too
- 23:55scared. I was not thinking about anything like that. If it did,
- 24:00I was like unaware of it because I was basically in survival mode, you
- 24:04know. And yeah, okay, well when you when you got to Vietnam,
- 24:12uh I remember you tell me that you were really worried about tigers attacking
- 24:17you. I wasn't really worried about it until my my uh I got to
- 24:23my oplatoon and they had just come in and they had killed a tiger and
- 24:29uh um, uh so I didn't I wasn't around to see the tiger.
- 24:33Actually I wasn't. I probably should have been more concerned about them than I
- 24:37was, but uh um, you know, I was back in the days
- 24:41of having your pictures developed, and the pictures came back, and the guys
- 24:47I knew saw had the pictures of the tiger, and uh and the original
- 24:55documentary that I saw, they had pictures of it, and that Mark Felton
- 25:00has different pictures of it. And I looked and looked and tried to recognize
- 25:04if that was my particular platoon, but I really couldn't tell if it was
- 25:11or not. Wow, well, you know, I actually I did some
- 25:15research and I was typing in and some search engines. You know, tigers
- 25:18in Vietnam during Vietnam War, and there were a lot of tigers that were
- 25:23killed by troops out there, a lot. I didn't want to pull them
- 25:26up because I don't want you two to flag my video, but a lot
- 25:30of dead tigers with US troops. Let's lask you for that. I know
- 25:34they don't like dead people, but yeah, no, even in the even
- 25:38Bigfoot stuff, isn't we getting They'll they'll take your videos down for anything these
- 25:42days, So we have to be careful showing that stuff. But I gotta
- 25:48do is type in tigers and Vietnam during the Vietnam War, just there's a
- 25:53lot of them, So that hadn't been terrifying. I mean, not only
- 25:56are you there a young man straight out of college put into a combat situation,
- 26:02worried about tigers attacking you, gunfire, rock apes, okay, just
- 26:07having having something flipping over your commander in his in his hammock. And I
- 26:14mean, that's it's gotta be uh life changing, all of that. Well,
- 26:18I suppose I'm sure it was. It was, absolutely it was.
- 26:22It makes you more aware of what can happen us some as and I do
- 26:33still feel this way that, um, we live in America. We haven't
- 26:40made so well, we live in a bubble and we just don't realize what
- 26:45it takes to keep it safe here and what can happen, you know,
- 26:48and uh so, uh yeah it can be. Uh you know, think
- 26:59about though you're you know, you're a college boy drinking beer and chasing girls,
- 27:03right and then the next thing, you know, I mean, within
- 27:08s February, within six months here in combat, you know, and it's
- 27:14just it really was. But that's kind of what my original baby Boomer is
- 27:18about, because it was such a change at the time I started to West
- 27:26Georgia, where you know, an orientation, we had to have on a
- 27:32coat and tie when we went to when we went to lunch on Sunday to
- 27:37Sunday, we had to appear as though we had been at the church,
- 27:41whether we had or not. And you had to go in a coat and
- 27:44tie to eat your Sunday lunch. By the time I left, everybody had
- 27:48hair down to their button. We had co ed dorms and hard rock music,
- 27:53and it was like that. The world changed in nineteen sixty seven,
- 27:59really what they call it the Summer of Love, and that really was a
- 28:03watershed for our culture. Um, it just changed overnight to more that's what
- 28:10it is today from what it was in the fifties, you know, And
- 28:14that was that was you know, if you weren't young, you probably wouldn't
- 28:19have been able to handle it, you know. I mean it was really
- 28:22quite quite stark. So wow, yeah, that it's just it's really unimaginable
- 28:32to me to when I was explaining to my son about this, He's only
- 28:34eight, and I was explaining to him kind of about the Vietnam War and
- 28:40and in the rock I was telling about the rock apes, but I kind
- 28:44of veered off talking about the war and how you know you soldiers were treated
- 28:48when you came back from war, and uh, it just it wasn't right.
- 28:52You know, there was a lot that was rather ugly. Uh,
- 28:56sometimes it really really was hurtful. Yes, I can't I can't even imagine.
- 29:03And I'm sorry that y'aught you and your fellow veterans had to go through
- 29:08that. So but I appreciate you, Bob, I appreciate you very much.
- 29:14And so yeah, and I appreciate you telling us a story about the
- 29:17rock apes. Now did anyone else in your troop? Did anybody else say,
- 29:22oh, that could have been a rock aper? Have you talked to
- 29:23them about this since then? No, I don't. I just think we
- 29:27accepted the fact that some animal, gorilla whatever ran across our perimeter. And
- 29:34if it hadn't been walking and running, you know, but it didn't like
- 29:40there's nothing over there like that. Everything swings from trees and it's you know,
- 29:45smaller, and I have no doubt that sooner or later they're going to
- 29:49find it, you know. And I did not know this at the time
- 29:53either, But we were in parts of the jungle where few people, if
- 29:57any, had ever been, you know, and you know, I did
- 30:03not know we were so thick in the jungle. Now to tell you the
- 30:07truth, of course, I didn't mind the jungle. I'm actually kind of
- 30:11liked it. But we want to understand. We were being fed and given
- 30:15water and stuff like that. I suppose if you know what you're doing,
- 30:19it probably wouldn't be that hard to survive out there. But uh, you
- 30:25know, so I probably have a because I was taken care of, I
- 30:29probably have a warped view of the jungle. But just from day to day,
- 30:33it was really very beautiful, you know. Wow. So well,
- 30:37okay, speaking of it not being it's kind of like unchartered territory out there.
- 30:42I was reading about some of the explorers that have been out there,
- 30:47and I believe what we know is Vietnam to day, it was kind of
- 30:49I don't know if it was taken over by the French at some point it
- 30:53okay, And I don't know my history of Vietnam very well. So you
- 30:57made you made you probably know a lot more to do about this, And
- 31:00thank you, Renee for that. Super chat. That is so sweet of
- 31:03you. Um okay. So they back in I think it was like the
- 31:06eighteen hundreds or so, or it might have even been before that. They
- 31:10were exploring the jungles out there, and it's written that some of them encountered
- 31:15wild men with tells. Well, now, yeah, I saw that,
- 31:18but you know what I don't we call say, I don't didn't it didn't
- 31:21have a tail one. Yeah, I saw that and uh um yeah.
- 31:27The French, I don't know when they came, but it was a French
- 31:32colony forever, and uh, a lot of Vietnamese folke French and a lot
- 31:37of the words that the Gis use like bookoo, that's really not Vietnamese,
- 31:41that's French, you know. And a lot of the Vietnamese are Catholic because
- 31:47of the French, you know, oh wow wow. Well they well they
- 31:52had a name for them too, the Moy. I believe they called the
- 31:55Moy and it's the wild men or savages is what they called them. Uh
- 31:59in this in the books that they you know, in their journals and things
- 32:01like that. So yeah, and also in nineteen twelve, this is something
- 32:07else. There was a book published by a French explorer, and it said
- 32:10the natives kind of took care of the wild men, or they knew about
- 32:15these wild men out there, but they wouldn't really talk about it very much
- 32:19to people that weren't from there. Yeah, and in that Mark felt and
- 32:22things said they never hunted them, you know, they didn't like attack them
- 32:27or anything. I wonder if the people there was a I guess you would
- 32:31call it a tribe called the Mountain Yards, and we were instructed to leave
- 32:36them alone, you know, and they were on our side. And and
- 32:40I don't recall seeing any that I could identify as the Mountain Yards anyway,
- 32:45but some pictures, you know, they they had spears and things that you
- 32:50would think were way old fashioned for Vietnam, you know, but they were
- 32:55there, well, very primitive then. Yeah, yeah, I actually found
- 33:00some pictures of Okay, So there's there's other types of the sasquatch type,
- 33:05like wild men or whatever you want to call them. I'd say wild men
- 33:09or I don't know, rock apes, we'll just say rock apes, okay,
- 33:14and uh, and and so in different parts of Asia they have different
- 33:19names from them, like in China they have the year in let me see
- 33:22here, if I can pull these pictures up. I think I have pictures
- 33:24of the year and um, but they have let's see in China they have
- 33:30the year and I don't think I pulled up a picture of that one.
- 33:32But um, something similar to this. This, This is the orange pindac.
- 33:37I think it's how you pronounce it. Um, that that is something
- 33:42that could be seen like this. This is something that people kind of described
- 33:45as seeing some of the some of the books about rock apes kind of describe
- 33:49it as looking like that. Yeah there, well for a level, you
- 33:52know, that looks more fierce than what I think, remember that I saw,
- 33:58but about like that, about that same size, just not that scary
- 34:04looking. So you're saying it was a little more goofy, Yeah it was
- 34:08not. If it may have been hostile, but it didn't. It didn't
- 34:15have like, well that's kind of more like it, except maybe that it
- 34:20might have been a little more stoop than that. You know, Okay,
- 34:23so it could you know, Yeah, yeah, I've got, I've got.
- 34:30I just had a few pictures just that I found when I was doing
- 34:32my little, my little bit of research there. Um, But yeah,
- 34:37I mean how in the stories that I didn't I didn't get like an idea
- 34:42of like how big these rocks were. They're throwing rocks for they like pebbles,
- 34:45the boulders, and we probably all of it. Yeah they I didn't.
- 34:53They didn't throw rocks at me. Now these are the story, and
- 34:57I'm assuming they were just you know, like that. I don't know,
- 35:01you know, And when you think about it, I wonder where they got
- 35:05them, because it's not exactly a lot of rocks laying down in the jungle,
- 35:08you know, so they must have been getting them from a creek or
- 35:12something. You know. I just never really thought about that. But you
- 35:17have to ask a marine. I did not see that. I have to
- 35:20ask. Now you were in the army, Yeah, okay, wow,
- 35:25all right, So yeah, I did not realize there were not a lot
- 35:30of rocks there. So that's interesting. They're called rock apes, but there's
- 35:32not a lot of rocks. No, there's not. Now, you know,
- 35:37the Monkey Mountain, I heard of it. If I've been there,
- 35:40I didn't know I was there, and so I can't really say what's on
- 35:45Monkey Mountain. But in general, in the jungle, they're just not you
- 35:50know, be hard pressed to pick up pick up rocks off the Jungle Floor.
- 35:59You know very well. I was listening to that Mark Um what is
- 36:07it? Mark felt in video actually and some of and I wanted to give
- 36:10him credit because I got some of my information from that that video that I
- 36:14watched that he made. And uh, and they were taught. They jokingly
- 36:17the Marines jokingly called it the Battle of dong Din. Okay. It was
- 36:22when the when the rock Apes which they named them rock Apes came and were
- 36:27they injured some of the Marines with the rocks that they were throwing. Really,
- 36:30yeah, you know, did that happened? They didn't just make this
- 36:37stuff up. They didn't laugh about it and all you know it, it
- 36:42really happened. They're really there. There's just no doubt about it. Well,
- 36:46okay, so I actually have some of the battalions that were there,
- 36:50like the in nineteen sixty eight. Um, I believe it was Company I
- 36:55Chicken Scratch. I don't know if please forgive me if I wrote this wrong.
- 36:59Company M third Battalion Marines. They had rocks thrown at Monkey Mountain.
- 37:02Okay. This was like an ambush team that they were in ambush and got
- 37:07ambushed by rock Apes. Okay. Yeah, and uh, and then in
- 37:10nineteen sixty nine, Company D, first Battalion, Second Infantry Regime, A
- 37:15regiment they were resting having lunch, reported an encounter with eight rock apes.
- 37:21They came walking down the trail. They thought that they were the opposition,
- 37:24and they opened fire on them. Yeah, yeah, I don't have doubt
- 37:30that a bit. Now, that seems very plausible that they would open fire,
- 37:37you know. Yeah, well, well you you actually opened fire on
- 37:40one and did you, you know, hit and at the end of the
- 37:46dark end of the bush. I don't you know, I may have hit
- 37:50it. I don't if I hit it, I didn't kill it. I
- 37:52know that ran it was able to run whether I hit it or not.
- 37:55You know, Now, were there any reports of any of these getting shot
- 38:00and anybody's found or any there? I'm assuming not no. But I was
- 38:05just thinking about that when you talked about the Marines shooting at him on the
- 38:08trail. It wouldn't surprise me, if it wouldn't surprise me at all.
- 38:13In fact, I'd be surprised if somebody didn't hit one at some point,
- 38:16you know. But I don't know if anybody finding a body or anything.
- 38:22Well, I was actually talking with a friend, right before the show today,
- 38:24and he actually it was I won't go ahead and tell you it was
- 38:27Dave Scott was spaced out radio and I was I was telling him about you
- 38:30coming on my show, and he's oh, so excited about it. Now.
- 38:35He was telling me a story about that he had heard of the troops
- 38:38fighting the Americans versus the Vietnamese, and they were in battle, and the
- 38:44rockets got in between them and started fighting each side in the middle of the
- 38:47battle. I had never heard that. Well, that was something he had
- 38:52heard. Son, No, it could be possible. It's got to be
- 38:55hundreds of guys that saw these things. It's you know, if you've looked
- 39:01around and started counting, I think you could find a lot. Well,
- 39:07well, I'm excited just to hear your story today because not a lot of
- 39:09not a lot of these men have come out and talked publicly about it.
- 39:13And uh, and so this is the first interview I've ever seen in public
- 39:16of someone talking about it. So, Bob, thank you for being here
- 39:20with me. And we're not done with this interview, by the way,
- 39:22We're about more to talk about. But I just wanted to thank you for
- 39:25speaking out publicly about it. Okay, Well, yeah, that's awesome.
- 39:30It's really awesome because I know that was a that was a very rough time
- 39:35over there. And yeah, yeah, it was very long ago. I'm
- 39:39pretty old. You're not You're not that old. You're not that old.
- 39:45You're not that old. Shout out to grandmother Nellie today. We love grandmother
- 39:54Nellie. Happy, happy belated birthday. Yes. Well, well at some
- 39:59point you you came home and you you started writing books. You actually went
- 40:01back to Iraq and started driving truck in Iraq. I don't know. Okay,
- 40:07here's how this happened. I was married, not very happily, and
- 40:15I had just really kind of got this. I've been married twice, Okay,
- 40:21I kind of just was disgusted and I just went I worked for a
- 40:28computer company, and I you know, and I met a lot of truck
- 40:31drivers in my job. And I had gone back to school and was studying
- 40:37programming, was going to make a career in that. And the company went
- 40:43out of business and I just went, screwed, I'm gonna drive a truck.
- 40:45So I went to truck driving school with a we got a little severance
- 40:50packing and and you know, I was single, and it was really kind
- 40:55of fun, you know, threating your stuff and putting on cowboy boots and
- 41:00driving across country and all that. Yeah, and uh, And I was
- 41:09in O, Califlorida, and I heard some guys. I just overheard a
- 41:15conversation and the guy said, well, Jim got back from a rat today.
- 41:19He said he made enough money to pay off his house. And he
- 41:23said it was okay, you know, And I said, well, I
- 41:28called. When I called my wife that night, I told her about that,
- 41:31and to my shock, she said, that doesn't sound like a bad
- 41:36idea coincidence? Had it that where she worked she worked for a government contractor,
- 41:43and two of the earl co workers had taken a leave of absence and
- 41:47gone over there to do something. I think we're work on pumps or something,
- 41:52and came back and they were all talking about how great it was.
- 41:58So I went home and I got online and I put in an application with
- 42:01KBR. Three hours later, they called me back and tentative to um background
- 42:08check. They hired me, and of course I got by the background check.
- 42:14And then right after Christmas of two thousand and five, I'm January first.
- 42:20I think I went to um um uh Iraq. You know, and
- 42:29then started driving the truck, and the war when I went over there had
- 42:34kind of subsided. But after I got there, I like, well,
- 42:42you know, but uh I stayed. I stayed over there five years too,
- 42:47and then so and then then got divorced again and lost all my money.
- 42:52So I'm back to square one. Well you don't have plans to go
- 42:55back to you to Iraq? No, no, man, I'm too old
- 42:59now. But uh I was pretty old then. In fact I went over
- 43:04there, I was fifty nine, you know, so that's pretty old,
- 43:07you know. So, um, well, it takes it takes a tough
- 43:12soul to go over there during wartime and drive a truck. Yeah, and
- 43:15you know, you think a guy like me is like much old war guy,
- 43:20but I'm exactly the opposite. You know. Well, you do go
- 43:22to yoga, I do know that about you. Yeah, yeah, I'm
- 43:25the Well when I go to the open mic, your grandmother talks me for
- 43:30being the oldest one there. But yoga, I'm the oldest, you know.
- 43:35So well, there's there's beautiful ladies at that yoga. I'm sure.
- 43:39Yeah, I see, I know, I know what you're doing. They
- 43:44took a group picture and me and this other older guy are staying around all
- 43:49these beautiful young women. And I posted on Facebook this is why I do
- 43:52so much yoga. You know, I don't blame you. Hey, do
- 43:58you know what? You only live once, well, this lifetime at least,
- 44:00and uh man, you have had quite a life, you have.
- 44:04Seriously, you don't you deserve to be surrounded by a beautiful limit at the
- 44:07young studio. And the reason that's been quite a life as I did everything
- 44:13wrong, you know. And uh my brother, you know, he married
- 44:19his college sweetheart, had a family and jobs in the house and all that,
- 44:24and he's not gonna see this, but sometimes I think he envies me
- 44:29because I've had all this adventure and stuff in my life and mostly because I
- 44:36did everything wrong. And you know, let's face everything wrong. It's saying
- 44:39deciding you're going to go drive a truck, and I rack I would not
- 44:44call that normal behavior, you know, but I did. And everything happens
- 44:50for a reason. Oh yeah, oh yeah. Everything that's happened to me
- 44:54makes me when I am today, and that includes getting drafted in Vietnam.
- 44:59It cludes all of it. All the bad things, all the good things
- 45:04make you what you are, you know, and and as you age,
- 45:07I think you get better. I think I'm a better person than I was
- 45:10when I get with you. You know, I think you're a great person.
- 45:15Bob, Well, thank you. I do you are a great person.
- 45:19Yeah. Now when you were in Iraq, did you visit any of
- 45:21any sacred spots out there? Well, um, I was okay. We
- 45:27we were like thirty five miles south from Miszool and we were always going to
- 45:30Missoo and then for a while I was stationed there too. Miszoo is none
- 45:35of them in the Bible, and the words are there and I've seen those.
- 45:38And on the base, um, there was a I think they said
- 45:43it was the oldest surviving Christian monastery, but it had been closed down because
- 45:51because of the Islamic Revolution. But it was there, and uh, we
- 45:59would see them Assyrian. We were right where that was, and sometimes we
- 46:06could see the ruins uh as we blowed by and stuff. And but I
- 46:10we were never we weren't allowed to go with them because um uh uh they
- 46:19just you know, they kept the gies out for good reason. They get
- 46:23going up. But one of my friends, and of course I can't verify
- 46:27this, he was stationed in Babylon, and he claims he slept in um
- 46:32Um the lines, then David and the lines. Then he claims he slept
- 46:37where that was, you know, so he literally slipped in the lions Den,
- 46:42that's what he says. Anyway, man, I mean, who knows
- 46:45that you know, um or in the Rook and all those places are interact.
- 46:51It's really a very historical area. And from our firebase, uh from
- 46:57I was a base called San Juan, that's yet No. I was at
- 47:00Key West. It's not Key West, it's q West, the name of
- 47:06the base in Iraq. And from that you could see a tell. In
- 47:10a tell is like a mound where um they've piled up cities after city after
- 47:17city on top of each other. There was nothing living there now. And
- 47:21I don't want one of my friends that said that they had never excavated that
- 47:27archaeologists had not ever gotten to that mound. I don't know how he knew
- 47:30that, but you know, and I don't know the name of it anymore,
- 47:34but that's amazing. And you would see these kind of models of the
- 47:40tower, you know, you see the picture of the the Tower of Babble
- 47:45that circles around. You would see models of that out in along the road.
- 47:52I don't know what what they were really, you know, Wow,
- 47:57that's awesome, interesting, very interesting. Well, okay, getting back to
- 48:01the cryptids and uh, and to the kind of the rock apes have you.
- 48:06Have you experienced any other kind of odd phenomenon like UFOs and things like
- 48:10that. I wish I would say a UFO, you haven't. No,
- 48:16Well, that saw a possible one and I decided it was a satellite across
- 48:22the sky. But that happens. Well, Hey, maybe I have to
- 48:27take you out big footing with my crew sometime. I bet you would have
- 48:30a good time doing that. I think it would be fun, to be
- 48:31honestly, and you know, yeah, yeah, if you're into if you're
- 48:36into camping out and stuff, we go out pretty deep into the mountains.
- 48:38So yeah, I got some even at my age, I have some camping
- 48:45gear. Um, well your age, you're still you're doing yoga and doing
- 48:50all sorts of fun stuff. Okay, so you were were, You're fit,
- 48:53you can handle it. It helps. The way I started doing yoga
- 48:58was I'm fairly heavy now, but I was even heavier and I was walking
- 49:05with a friend all the time, and uh, and he just we were
- 49:10in the coffee shop, you know, Gallery Road coffee shop there and and
- 49:16uh, he just said, well, you ought to do senior yoga with
- 49:20us, and I'm going yeah, you know, and and a girl named
- 49:25Adele walks in and and I kind of knew her more or less, like
- 49:31hello, how are you? And he said, well, there's the instructor
- 49:36right there. And so she came back and oh, yeah, you ought
- 49:38to do it. So I said, okay. It was a free program
- 49:42for seniors at the hospital, which not far. So I did it and
- 49:46I fell in love with it. And that program has since ended, and
- 49:52uh, you know, Adele has gone a whole bunch of places, and
- 49:54she has all these older groupies that just follow her around. And then she
- 49:59came aim to Red Rock, which is literally in your mother's backyard. Well
- 50:05don't say that on on on the web, so people don't know. Okay,
- 50:10okay, and it's okay, and uh, you know it's I just
- 50:19love the place. And you know, I do yoga every day but Wednesday.
- 50:22So yeah, that's amazing. That's how you keep so fit though,
- 50:28Yeah, I have it is It is like the fountain of youth. To
- 50:34me, it made all the difference in the world in my life, you
- 50:37know, because you start getting stiff, you start doing what I call the
- 50:42old man shuffle. And I was just beginning to do that well in your
- 50:50mind, and you're you're keeping your mind shark by writing all these books too.
- 50:52Yeah, and tell me about all your books that you've written. I
- 50:57know I've got one of them right here. Yeah, okay, well that
- 51:00would be the one that's the most interesting for this particular group. And Edward
- 51:07Javere Okay, I guess I watched too much YouTube. But one day I
- 51:10was like, I was watching something that it was called The Last Will and
- 51:15Testament, and it was a full fledged documentary about who wrote Shakespeare. And
- 51:21all of these people, including Lynn Red Gray, who is a movie star
- 51:25from My My Heir, you know, including Mark Twain. All kinds of
- 51:34people don't believe that Shakespeare wrote Shakespeare. And they convicted me. And the
- 51:39most likely candidate is Edward Davie. He was an old woman in Elizabeth's court
- 51:47and and well he could you know, he was known to write and whatnot.
- 51:55And you know he had traveled to you, to Italy and all the
- 52:01places that Shakespeare mentioned. Shakespeare never left England, you know, and how
- 52:07does he know about all this stuff? So, you know, and they
- 52:10had meek against that. Probably Edward de vere did write it. And so
- 52:16I was thinking of a new and I'd just done that remote viewing thing.
- 52:22So I said, well, all right, why don't we take and have
- 52:29I had written so much about West Georgia. My daughter went to Embery University
- 52:31in Atlanta. I have a degree from there. Yeah, yeah, and
- 52:42she So I said, I can't use West Georgia anymore. I've already written
- 52:46two books that involved the college I went to. So I said it in
- 52:51Embury. And even though I grew up in Atlanta, I didn't grow up
- 52:53in that part of Atlanta. If you were to tell me to go find
- 52:57Embury University right now, I would have of our time is tucked away,
- 53:02it really is. And uh uh, so I said it in Emory and
- 53:09um and these students, one of them a historian, one of us on
- 53:16theater major. And they go to a lecture and become convinced, like I
- 53:22did that that that Edward Vera wrote Shakespeare and so um uh they've also gotten
- 53:31involved in a remote viewing thing. Uh this right off campus. Now,
- 53:37this is a little bit scary. Uh West Georgia. Here in Carrollton is
- 53:44the one of few schools that has a parapsychology department. Right, that's right.
- 53:50The head of one of my teams actually graduated from there with a degree
- 53:52in it. Tree Husson. Yes, well, I'm at this Earth Day
- 54:00IPYS celebration. I told you I'm but anyway out of Talposa. Wellness,
- 54:07Sarah, they where they have the possum drop every New Year's Eve. Well,
- 54:13no, it's really named for the Tlepoosa River. It's it's yea Carleton,
- 54:19It's not in Tlepoosa, Georgia, but they do it. Okay,
- 54:22okay, anyway, and I meet, I meet the head of that department,
- 54:28and I start telling her about my book. And I said, I
- 54:31have a professor at ambry And and this is my logic. Well, I
- 54:37said, I cannot say. Emory University is investigating remote viewing. So I
- 54:44had a professor have an off campus remote viewing um, business studio whatever you
- 54:51want to whatever you call them. And she says, oh, you must
- 54:54mean is it corrib and first night? What are you talking about? And
- 55:00she says, Courtney Brown is a professor at Emory and he has an off
- 55:06campus Farsight Institute off campus, and I went, you're kid and me and
- 55:12she said no. And I said, well, either I want to have
- 55:15to change this character or call Courtney Brown and one or the other, because
- 55:19that's just too close. So I made the character female rather than male.
- 55:24And I'm kind of sorry I did too, To tell you the truth,
- 55:28I wish I had just gotten in touch with him and said, hey,
- 55:31can I do this? You know? But anyway, they remote view and
- 55:37they find a document through remote viewing in London that can prove that Edward de
- 55:44Vere wrote Shakespeare, and I had I did spend two weeks in London,
- 55:47so I two weeks worth of what London was like anyway, And so I
- 55:53used my limited knowledge of London and a lot of research on the internet and
- 56:01wrote about them finding this document in London and then they take it to Oxford.
- 56:07And I won't tell you what happens after that. Yeah, you got
- 56:10you got it. You can't give it all the way because you want people
- 56:13to purchase your book. It's a great book, and you do your own
- 56:15remote viewing in there a little bit. Anti Yeah, it's pretty impressive.
- 56:21Those are those drawings that are in the book because I have the characters and
- 56:24I was trying to because a lot of people don't know what remote viewing is.
- 56:29Oh my audience does. Trust me. Everybody that watches my show's nose
- 56:32because I remote in my effort to explain more what it was. Plus it's
- 56:38just interested in anyone. You don't even have to that I did when I
- 56:45was remote viewing. After doing that course and the very first one, I've
- 56:51just got lines and they're going this way and that way, and it didn't
- 56:53make sense to me until I saw what I was drawing, and it was
- 56:58a golden gate bridge, right, and I had you know, you know,
- 57:00and so I took all my drawings, my early drawings before I decided
- 57:07I was going to quit while I was ahead, and I had to redrawing,
- 57:09but I stayed true to what they were and and they're in the book,
- 57:15you know, as and and then and then the picture of what they
- 57:19were trying to draw is is there as well, you know. And those
- 57:22that's for real, those are my real drawings on the on the remote doing
- 57:27thing there. So well, I was tickled to death when I met you
- 57:30and we started something. I don't know how we got on the topic of
- 57:32remote viewing, I have I don't know how we got on the topic of
- 57:37any of this. You know, we were just we were we were attending
- 57:40loud music playing everything. You know. Nothing is a coincidence, nothing,
- 57:47And I don't think so either. But I'm going to tell your listeners or
- 57:52viewers that her grandmother is so popular in this town that she filled it was
- 58:00her birthday party. And it was also open mic, which is which she
- 58:04always goes to. Because it was her birthday party. It was standing room
- 58:07only in that place, you know, and miss Nellie. Everybody knows miss
- 58:14Nellie. Yeah, everybody knows miss Nellie right well, I know she appreciates
- 58:17you and and I bet you anything she's gonna watch this. So so yeah,
- 58:22so this is this show is dedicated to grandmother Nellie. Today. Open
- 58:30That's another thing, all right. I do yo, I do the open
- 58:32mic, and I spend an hour or two in the coffee shop every day.
- 58:37So for an old guy, I stay pretty busy, you know.
- 58:39We well, tell me before we go today, tell me about all of
- 58:44your books. Just kind of give me a little rundown of the titles so
- 58:46people can find them okay, and I might be a little sorry I did
- 58:50this. I put them all one day. I took books that they'd been
- 58:53under my real name and combined them all and put them under the pen name
- 58:59rolling On Connor. And they're all available on Amazon. The first book is
- 59:04the one we talked about Vietnam. The second book is about driving the truck
- 59:07and Iraq. The third book is about I lived in a town. Well,
- 59:13there was a suspected murder where people thought that the woman and a child
- 59:20died in childbirth, and there was rumors that there was some hanky panky going
- 59:24on there, and the it was a well known preacher who could not get
- 59:30divorced, and he remarried like three months later, and everybody's like, wait
- 59:34a minute, you know, but there was never any charge. It's never
- 59:37anything formal. But I took that idea and made a novel out of that,
- 59:42and it's a really pretty good book. And then I wrote one.
- 59:47I say I watched too much YouTube. I watched something called The Men Who
- 59:52Killed Kennedy, and anybody my age would have really known all this stuff,
- 59:57but it put it all together and to the conspiracy. And I didn't want
- 1:00:01to make it about old people. So I took a millennial and had her
- 1:00:06find out that her grandmother was a stripper in Jack Ruby's club. Jack Ruby
- 1:00:10was the man that shot Oswald. You know, he owned a strip joint.
- 1:00:15Basically, yeah, and uh yeah, and I have a very old
- 1:00:22cia, you know, chasing them around. It's okay. And then the
- 1:00:29next book I wrote it not I would. I don't like this book.
- 1:00:34I mean, uh, it takes place and bowed in Georgia, down the
- 1:00:37road and at West Georgia's and it's called Assault on the Dream. It's all
- 1:00:45right, my my editor says likes it anyway. And then what did I
- 1:00:51do? Oh? I started? The last book I wrote is um the
- 1:00:55one we were just talking about Edward de Vere And there are all under under
- 1:01:02under the pen name Rolling O'Connor. I took that. You held that up
- 1:01:08that cover. All of my books have a cover similar to that and different
- 1:01:14colors, but um and and I, you know, I just tried to
- 1:01:22standardize everything and use a different name, because especially that first book has been
- 1:01:28published by publishers, it's been self published, It's had three or four different
- 1:01:31covers. And when you put my Bobo O'Kelly in all this stuff comes up,
- 1:01:37and I said, I want to get rid of that, so I
- 1:01:38became rolling O'Connor. And I have not in all honestly, and I think
- 1:01:45a lot of writers of this way. We would rather write than market,
- 1:01:49you know, right. I'm friends with some authors they say the same thing.
- 1:01:52Yes, And I did not market these properly, I you know,
- 1:01:58and right now I don't even have a website up. You can get them
- 1:02:02on Amazon and um and uh. But with this new book that's coming out.
- 1:02:07Oh, I gotta tell you about the new book have a title for
- 1:02:17it yet so um it has not been edited yet, but um, I
- 1:02:25call it my new Age hippie book. And it is about it's it's literally
- 1:02:30about hey, if we don't learn, it's funny for one thing. And
- 1:02:36I know it's funny because the people that have read it just in stitches and
- 1:02:42uh and it is basic premises. Well, I'm sure a lot of your
- 1:02:49listeners or hip hip to hip the fact that uh hip, a lot of
- 1:02:57people think that there's a great awakening company coming it. Yeah, well this
- 1:03:02is about that characters and you're a part of it right now, Yeah,
- 1:03:08part of it. I really would like to be two characters that get drafted
- 1:03:14by God himself to be uh light workers right in this great awakening. And
- 1:03:22you know, they get drafted in a previous life and then they have to
- 1:03:25come back and in this error and do all these things and all the powers
- 1:03:32that be I've got all the I've got Jesus and and and Buddha and Christna
- 1:03:38and all these people there in heaven. And they don't particularly They think God
- 1:03:45screwed up by choosing these people, so they this sounds so crazy. Uh.
- 1:03:54They end up going to Palladia and getting schooled and come back and Ali
- 1:04:00and of course the cabal farms up against them to shut them up, because
- 1:04:05you know, they make a lot of money off people not loving each other.
- 1:04:09And I won't go into how it ends, but that's the premise.
- 1:04:13And I realize how crazy that prob itself. Still a lot, you know,
- 1:04:17I think people in my audience will totally be in one. Seriously,
- 1:04:23seriously, I am trying to use humor to make people that maybe are not
- 1:04:29quite awake think, you know, yes, And my editor, I love
- 1:04:34that it says she just said, Bob. She hasn't finished editing it,
- 1:04:40but She said, Bob, you're writing in a whole different level now,
- 1:04:44and I think I am too. I think, yes, I mean you're
- 1:04:47you're just talking about things that a lot of people aren't talking about. I
- 1:04:49mean, you've come out publicly now talking about the rock apes and Vietnam.
- 1:04:54I love this. I love it in As a matter of fact, Alicia,
- 1:04:56thank you for that super chat Alicia. In our chat today, he
- 1:05:00says, I could listen to y'all talk all day. She recently lost her
- 1:05:02dad, second Lieutenant Army, who was drafted with his brother, and this
- 1:05:06makes me feel like I'm talking to him. Thank you, really, thank
- 1:05:10you for Alicia. That is very sweet of you. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:15so yeah, I mean I think a lot of people can relate to this
- 1:05:18stuff. And uh, and I'm so proud of you. Listen, we're
- 1:05:21marketing your books today and as a matter of fact, I have all of
- 1:05:25your books in the description box on this video right now, so I believe
- 1:05:29it's there probably on my Facebook page two the Crypt Jessica the crypton Huntress on
- 1:05:33Facebook and on Twitter and on Instagram. Okay, well, I'm gonna get
- 1:05:39busy, especially with this new book coming out. I'm putting the fire on
- 1:05:43the our feet now back on. I don't even every time, and then
- 1:05:46I'll post something on Facebook, but I don't go to it every day,
- 1:05:51and I'm not really I guess. I don't know if because I'm older or
- 1:05:57what, but I just kind of get discussing. It's just too much.
- 1:06:00I know, listen, if I didn't have a radio show with based on
- 1:06:03radio, I wouldn't even be on Facebook, probably so, but you know,
- 1:06:08it's just part of modern times of me with all the young girls.
- 1:06:13You know. Yeah, my old high school buddy's jealous. You know.
- 1:06:17Well, I did send you a friend request on there, so next time
- 1:06:19you log on, you accept my friend requests, Okay, okay, Oh
- 1:06:24my gosh. Yes, Well this is This has been amazing and I want
- 1:06:29to thank you so much, Bob for being my guest today. And uh,
- 1:06:31and I want to thank everybody who's in chat. Uh. This is
- 1:06:34one of those videos that I'm gonna have to go back and watch this right
- 1:06:36after we get done today. I'm gonna go back and watch it again,
- 1:06:39all right, yeah, because this is awesome and I would love to have
- 1:06:43you come back and talk with me. I mean, we could talk about
- 1:06:45it and I love to come back when I get this other book edited and
- 1:06:47a title for it, and you know, lovely, I would love to
- 1:06:51come back and talk about that, you know, maybe even reason absolutely.
- 1:06:57I mean I like talking Palladians and stuff like that. So yes, yeah,
- 1:07:02yeah, they have a good time employed. It's a fun book,
- 1:07:08it really is. It's a Ford forward thinking type of a book, in
- 1:07:12my opinion. And uh and I think that it would definitely help. I
- 1:07:15seriously believe we all wake up, we're going to destroy ourselves. And and
- 1:07:19uh and I don't think we are going to destroy our I think we're gonna
- 1:07:24wake up, you know. I think we're waking up. And I think
- 1:07:28we are too. You know, I really do um with the help of
- 1:07:31people like yourself and h and talking about like That's why I enjoy talking about
- 1:07:36my Bigfoot experiences and my et experiences because I think a lot of people have
- 1:07:42experienced stuff like this. Like you're saying a lot of soldiers in Vietnam experienced
- 1:07:45rockets. There's countless soldiers that can tell you about that. I'm sure that
- 1:07:51somebody out of documented before we all die of you know what I'm saying.
- 1:07:55Yeah, Well, we're doing that today, and I would love to have
- 1:07:58you to come back on in and we'll set it up sometime in the near
- 1:08:01future. Okay, mom, it sounds sounds great, awesome, so I
- 1:08:05really enjoyed it. Thank you. So okay, So where can people find
- 1:08:10you anywhere else other than Amazon? Do you have any other kind of you
- 1:08:13know, what's your website gonna be? We used to be Rolling O'Connor dot
- 1:08:18com and I guess I could get that again. And do I have a
- 1:08:23Facebook page? I don't even remember you Do you do have a Facebook page?
- 1:08:29Well, you know what, sometimes it's going to keep those private,
- 1:08:30you need to make a public one. Well, no, I've got I've
- 1:08:33got my personal page. And I did have a business page for Rolling O'Connor,
- 1:08:40and honestly, I haven't been to it in so long, I don't
- 1:08:43even know if it's still there. But I guess I'm going to have to
- 1:08:45go to work and and do all this okay social media stuff and and and
- 1:08:50get it up. Get some of those yoga ladies to help you. I
- 1:08:55bet they'll help. Yeah, well, well, hey, my grandmother knows
- 1:08:59how to do book. We'll get hurt of teacher. Yeah, I don't
- 1:09:01know how to do it. I'm for an old guy. I'm pretty crafty
- 1:09:05with a computer. I know. I was kid. I was kid.
- 1:09:09I was a joke. It was a dope. Oh my gosh, but
