Speaker 1: Scalable advice for sure. It's not Nicelo. Welcome to the
• 0:16
Speaker 1: Naughty but nic Sham, your host, Rob Shooter. It is
• 0:19
Speaker 1: Thursday morning, and normally our dear friend Mark Lupo joins us.
• 0:23
Speaker 1: He's not here today. I just texted him. Mark is
• 0:26
Speaker 1: the most organized person in the world. So normally when
• 0:29
Speaker 1: Mark takes a day off, which he doesn't do very often,
• 0:31
Speaker 1: I always get to text. So I've not heard from Mark.
• 0:33
Speaker 1: But maybe he'll jump into the charm to keep the
• 0:36
Speaker 1: zoom open in case he pops up. I hope everything's okay, Mark,
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: give me a call. I'm a little worried. Okay, let's
• 0:42
Speaker 1: jump into our show. What time is it, my friends?
• 0:45
Speaker 1: It is tea time. Big story at the top of
• 0:48
Speaker 1: the show. So King Charles is too busy ah to
• 0:52
Speaker 1: see Harry and Meghan during his North American trip. So
• 0:56
Speaker 1: the King is going to fly across the Atlantic, but
• 1:00
Speaker 1: not across the emotional divide. Let me explain. So King
• 1:04
Speaker 1: Charles has confirmed that he's going to make an official
• 1:07
Speaker 1: state visit to Canada next week, but will not be
• 1:12
Speaker 1: seeing Harry and Meghan, despite them all being on the
• 1:15
Speaker 1: same continent, and Royal insiders are telling me. This is
• 1:19
Speaker 1: no accident. Sources say quote Charles claims that his schedule
• 1:25
Speaker 1: is packed, but let's be real, if he wanted to
• 1:30
Speaker 1: make time for Harry, he would Ooh, isn't that the truth?
• 1:35
Speaker 1: I say that all the time. People are not too busy.
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: Nobody's too busy. You're just not a priority. If I've
• 1:42
Speaker 1: got time every day to watch the Kardashians an hour
• 1:46
Speaker 1: every day, I've got time to do other stuff. However,
• 1:49
Speaker 1: I choose the Kardashians because that is a priority to me.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: If Madonna called me, I'm very, very busy today. But
• 1:55
Speaker 1: if Madonna called me and invited me for drinks tonight,
• 1:58
Speaker 1: I'd figure out a way to make it work, because that, again,
• 2:01
Speaker 1: is a priority. And so when people say they're too busy,
• 2:06
Speaker 1: not true. They're just not a priority. Say that to yourself.
• 2:10
Speaker 1: The next time you say I'm too busy, stop yourself,
• 2:14
Speaker 1: and maybe don't say it out loud, because it's a
• 2:16
Speaker 1: bit rude to actually admit this, or maybe too honest
• 2:19
Speaker 1: for many people. The next time you say, oh, I'm
• 2:21
Speaker 1: sorry I can't meet you tonight, I'm too busy, take
• 2:24
Speaker 1: a step back and quietly say to yourself that's not true.
• 2:28
Speaker 1: The truth is this is not a priority for me,
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: and that's fine. Everything can't be shouldn't be a priority.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: We have our lives, we have our priorities. Bruce is
• 2:38
Speaker 1: at the top of my tree of priorities. My husband, Bruce,
• 2:43
Speaker 1: friends come next, work below that. Then acquaintances. Family is
• 2:48
Speaker 1: a priority for me too, Darby, my little doggie is
• 2:50
Speaker 1: a priority for me too. But I know where my
• 2:54
Speaker 1: priorities are. I've thought about them. I've spent hours thinking
• 2:58
Speaker 1: about is this a priority? Is a priority because we
• 3:01
Speaker 1: all get the same twenty four hours in a day.
• 3:04
Speaker 1: And if Beyonce probably and Taylor Smith, two of the
• 3:07
Speaker 1: busiest celebrities in the world, if they can make time
• 3:10
Speaker 1: to get all that stuff in, then you can too.
• 3:14
Speaker 1: But you've got to be honest with yourself. What is
• 3:17
Speaker 1: a priority now. The snub comes just weeks after Harry
• 3:22
Speaker 1: told the BBC in a tearful interview that the two
• 3:25
Speaker 1: have not spoken, saying there's no point in continuing to
• 3:29
Speaker 1: fight anymore. I don't know how much longer my father has.
• 3:34
Speaker 1: That sentence really upset the Palace because what it di
• 3:37
Speaker 1: is is it started a conspiracy theory. It started a
• 3:41
Speaker 1: rumor that Harry knows the King's dying. We know he
• 3:44
Speaker 1: has cancer. I'm told actually he's doing pretty well. He
• 3:47
Speaker 1: wouldn't be coming too Canada if he was on his deathbed,
• 3:49
Speaker 1: he wouldn't be traveling. The King is doing pretty well.
• 3:52
Speaker 1: But Harry is saying that, adding that little innuendo, that
• 3:55
Speaker 1: little bit of naughty naughtiness to a sentences. If he
• 4:01
Speaker 1: knows something that we don't, that is really really dangerous.
• 4:06
Speaker 1: And so now a lot of people are saying, what's
• 4:08
Speaker 1: going on with the King? What does Harry know? He
• 4:11
Speaker 1: doesn't know anything, because, as he has said himself, they
• 4:15
Speaker 1: do not speak. Now, Charles is not budgeting. The palace
• 4:19
Speaker 1: is trying to spin this as a logistic issue. But
• 4:22
Speaker 1: it's a choice. It's calculated, and yes it might seem cold,
• 4:26
Speaker 1: but how many times are you going to trust somebody?
• 4:29
Speaker 1: This is the hard thing. When you fall out with somebody,
• 4:32
Speaker 1: you both have to want to kiss and makeup if
• 4:35
Speaker 1: one of you does. I've been in this position where
• 4:38
Speaker 1: I've had disagreements with people and I want to be
• 4:40
Speaker 1: friends again, but they don't, and I have to respect that.
• 4:43
Speaker 1: Or they say they want to be friends again, which
• 4:45
Speaker 1: is what Harry's doing. And then he goes on television
• 4:48
Speaker 1: and pulls a stunt like this. And so I do
• 4:50
Speaker 1: think actions speak louder than words. Don't listen to people,
• 4:54
Speaker 1: watch them, see what they do, and that tells you everything.
• 4:58
Speaker 1: And what it has told Charles is just not a
• 5:02
Speaker 1: very nice picture. And they've swallowed it, they've accepted it.
• 5:06
Speaker 1: In the beginning, it was denial. They thought, Harry, oh,
• 5:08
Speaker 1: he's just having a moment. This is just a little incident,
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: it's a phase he's going through. No, this is Harry's
• 5:15
Speaker 1: new life. Now, this is Harry accepting for who he is,
• 5:18
Speaker 1: or don't. But then he's not going to be in
• 5:21
Speaker 1: your life. These two fractions, these two sides of the family,
• 5:26
Speaker 1: I just don't see coming together. Now. What I do
• 5:29
Speaker 1: advise this would be a miracle, is that while Charles
• 5:32
Speaker 1: is in Canada, it would be so easy for Harry
• 5:35
Speaker 1: and Meghan to go and see him. It would be
• 5:38
Speaker 1: so easy to see him, or forget Canada. These are
• 5:41
Speaker 1: really rich people with private planes fly to London, go
• 5:45
Speaker 1: to Britain. For you and me to go to London,
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: it's a lot of money. I get it. We don't
• 5:49
Speaker 1: have that amount of money. To get there they do.
• 5:53
Speaker 1: They could literally drop into Britain and go and see him.
• 5:57
Speaker 1: Or even if you don't want to do that, pick
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: up a phone when you're Dad's in Canada and he's
• 6:01
Speaker 1: going to be doing lots of press, lots of public engagements.
• 6:04
Speaker 1: They're all going to be on the news. Pick up
• 6:07
Speaker 1: the phone and say, I saw you on TV, Dad,
• 6:09
Speaker 1: you were great. I miss you. Neither side is budget here,
• 6:13
Speaker 1: which brings us to our pole question of the day.
• 6:15
Speaker 1: King Charles is too busy in quotes to see Harry
• 6:19
Speaker 1: and Meghan during his North American trip? Is this a ruse?
• 6:24
Speaker 1: Or is this the right move? What do you think?
• 6:26
Speaker 1: Is this the truth or is this a rouse? What
• 6:30
Speaker 1: do you think here? I want and right move or
• 6:33
Speaker 1: a ruse? Hey? Go vote on our Twitter page. I
• 6:35
Speaker 1: had naughty, nice rob our facebook pages, naughty, gossip and misure.
• 6:39
Speaker 1: To check back Tamar Road to hear your results. Okay,
• 6:43
Speaker 1: moving along, Lauren Sanchez's wedding. It's coming up soon, only
• 6:47
Speaker 1: a few weeks away. Everybody's talking about this big, big wedding.
• 6:51
Speaker 1: Jeff Bezos Lauren Sanchez. I know they're not the biggest
• 6:54
Speaker 1: stars in the world, but they're getting so much attention.
• 6:57
Speaker 1: Everybody's talking about this wedding and now inside tell me
• 7:00
Speaker 1: the dress will be her most revealing look ever. Oh
• 7:05
Speaker 1: and that's exactly how Jeff wants it. So Lauren Sanchez
• 7:09
Speaker 1: is not gonna just walk down the aisle. She's gonna strut.
• 7:12
Speaker 1: Sources tell me that the media maven and helicopter pilot
• 7:17
Speaker 1: she is a helicopter pilot, plans to wear her most sexy,
• 7:21
Speaker 1: most jaw dropping look ever when she marries Amazon founder
• 7:26
Speaker 1: Jeff Bezos. Inside of say quote, Laurence dress is going
• 7:30
Speaker 1: to leave little to the imagination. Think high splits, plunge
• 7:36
Speaker 1: in netlines, sheer panels. It's going to be less a
• 7:40
Speaker 1: royal wedding and more red carpet at the party at
• 7:43
Speaker 1: can Film Festival. The revealing down has been custom designed
• 7:47
Speaker 1: and told there are five gowns in total. I don't
• 7:49
Speaker 1: think she's gonna wear all five in one day, but
• 7:51
Speaker 1: the wedding's gonna last about three or four days. It's
• 7:54
Speaker 1: a whole week of celebrations, so lots of different gowns,
• 7:56
Speaker 1: and it is one thousand percent Lauren. She's not shy,
• 8:00
Speaker 1: and Jeff loves that about her. He thinks she looks incredible,
• 8:03
Speaker 1: and he wants all eyes on her. Kind of sweets.
• 8:08
Speaker 1: I'm a little bit more conservative when it comes to
• 8:11
Speaker 1: a weddings. I love that show, Say Yes to the Dress.
• 8:15
Speaker 1: Randy on the show known him forever. He's a really
• 8:17
Speaker 1: good guy. We get drinks and he's funny and he's
• 8:20
Speaker 1: a great designer. His wedding dresses are doing really really well.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: But I like what he designs because they're more conservatives.
• 8:26
Speaker 1: I don't like wedding dresses to look like lingerie. Now.
• 8:29
Speaker 1: I get it. That's just my opinion. Some people like
• 8:31
Speaker 1: that really sexy, over the top, dramatic look. Go for it.
• 8:35
Speaker 1: If that's you, go for it. I think even if
• 8:38
Speaker 1: you're not getting married in a church or a synagogue,
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: I like to believe there's a little bit of a
• 8:42
Speaker 1: religious element to the ceremony, and I like to think
• 8:46
Speaker 1: God does not want to see all my bits and pieces,
• 8:48
Speaker 1: if you know what I'm meeting, and so I'm a
• 8:50
Speaker 1: little bit more covered up. What about you? Do you
• 8:52
Speaker 1: regret that your wedding dress was a little too revealing
• 8:55
Speaker 1: or do you regret it was too covered up? I
• 8:58
Speaker 1: get it. Everybody wants to look beautiful, look sexy, but
• 9:02
Speaker 1: there is a line. Lauren likes to be the voom,
• 9:06
Speaker 1: Like remember the inauguration of big political event. Huh. Her
• 9:11
Speaker 1: top was very low, her cleavage was there for everybody
• 9:16
Speaker 1: to see. She likes this look. I've never seen her
• 9:19
Speaker 1: look anything but fabulous. But it's a certain type of fabulous.
• 9:23
  Speaker 1: It's a wow, it's a the voom, it's boom boom,
• 9:27
Speaker 1: And so we shouldn't expect the wedding dress to be
• 9:29
Speaker 1: any different. And I actually think probably that's a good idea.
• 9:32
Speaker 1: Don't change who you are for one day. This is
• 9:35
Speaker 1: who she is. And I think friends Jeff would be
• 9:38
Speaker 1: disappointed if she came out looking like Julie Andrews. No,
• 9:41
Speaker 1: that's not gonna happen. She's gonna come out looking like
• 9:44
Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian. Who is going to the wedding? My friend
• 9:47
Speaker 1: Nicki Gossin from page six. She bumped into all people,
• 9:51
Speaker 1: Gail King on the red carpet, and she asked Gail
• 9:54
Speaker 1: about the wedding, and Gail did confirm she's going. Nikki
• 9:57
Speaker 1: is so cheeky too. She asked Gail are they registered
• 10:01
Speaker 1: with an Amazon account? Gail didn't answer, but wouldn't that
• 10:06
Speaker 1: be something. Where do you think they register billionaires on Amazon?
• 10:10
Speaker 1: Maybe they do. That's really funny. Okay, moving along, breaking news,
• 10:15
Speaker 1: Hold a copy has passed. I'm replacing Kelly Clarkson. So
• 10:18
Speaker 1: for weeks we've been telling you Kelly Clarkson is pretty
• 10:21
Speaker 1: much really considering leaving her show. It's a huge hit.
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: People love it, but Kelly doesn't. She's a musician, she's
• 10:29
Speaker 1: a singer, she's a performer. She misses her time on
• 10:31
Speaker 1: the road doing a talk show five days a week,
• 10:35
Speaker 1: every day of the year. It's an enormous, enormous, stressful job.
• 10:39
Speaker 1: It makes a lot of money. Kelly doesn't care about money.
• 10:43
Speaker 1: She lives a very humble life for somebody as wealthy
• 10:46
Speaker 1: as she is. She doesn't care about it. She cares
• 10:48
Speaker 1: about happiness. She wants to spend time with her kids.
• 10:51
Speaker 1: She wants to spend time recording new music, going on
• 10:54
Speaker 1: the road and singing, and this talk show is getting
• 10:57
Speaker 1: in the way. So top of the list and then
• 10:59
Speaker 1: these to replace her, we told you first, is Holder
• 11:02
Speaker 1: to hold us left for today show Hoda for a
• 11:05
Speaker 1: similar reason to Kelly wants to spend time with her kids.
• 11:08
Speaker 1: Hold has made so much money she doesn't need any
• 11:10
Speaker 1: more money, and so she wants to be with her
• 11:12
Speaker 1: kids and she doesn't want to get up anymore a
• 11:14
Speaker 1: three point thirty am. That is brutal. However, if she
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: took over Kelly's show, it's much nicer hours. It's a
• 11:21
Speaker 1: nine to five type of job, but it is a
• 11:23
Speaker 1: lot five days a week, but it's an easier job.
• 11:26
Speaker 1: So they've really wanted Holder to have her own talk show.
• 11:29
Speaker 1: I think it's a great idea. Holder has approached them
• 11:32
Speaker 1: and said, thank you for the offer, but no, it's
• 11:34
Speaker 1: not really for me. She's flattered, of course she is,
• 11:37
Speaker 1: but that isn't what she wants her life to be.
• 11:40
Speaker 1: In fact, she's got bigger plans, insiders tell me, and
• 11:43
Speaker 1: that is to start her own lifestyle brand. Think Oprah,
• 11:48
Speaker 1: think Goog, think these fabulous brands. That's something that Hoder
• 11:52
Speaker 1: wants to wants to build, and it's something that is
• 11:54
Speaker 1: totally hers. It would be easier for me to work
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: for a big media company, but I wouldn't known. I
• 12:00
Speaker 1: would rather have my substack, Rob Shooter on Substack, my
• 12:03
Speaker 1: podcast Naughty but Nice. They're mine, I own them. I'm
• 12:08
Speaker 1: the boss of my own little company, and I love that,
• 12:12
Speaker 1: and Holder wants to do the same. When you work
• 12:14
Speaker 1: for the Today Show, you are part of a massive machine,
• 12:18
Speaker 1: a cog in the wheel. Even if you are the
• 12:20
Speaker 1: star of the show, even if you are the host
• 12:22
Speaker 1: of the show, the machine of the Today Show just
• 12:25
Speaker 1: keeps rolling on. Look Hoder left, and the show rolled on.
• 12:28
Speaker 1: Matt Lower got pushed out left rightly so and the
• 12:32
Speaker 1: show rolled on. If the show can survive Katie curric leaving,
• 12:36
Speaker 1: it can survive. It just goes on. Holder does not
• 12:39
Speaker 1: want to do that anymore. She doesn't want to be
• 12:41
Speaker 1: a cog in the wheel. She wants to be the
• 12:43
Speaker 1: whole wheel. And even if the wheel is much smaller,
• 12:46
Speaker 1: it will all be hers. I'm told this brand could
• 12:48
Speaker 1: explode there, so Holder with a lifestyle brand, towels, honey, jams, clothing, makeup, beauty.
• 12:57
Speaker 1: I think people really buy this. I'm told you investors
• 13:01
Speaker 1: have been lining up because they believe in Holder. In fact,
• 13:04
Speaker 1: the same reason the brand is going to be successful
• 13:07
Speaker 1: is the same reason NBC would love Holder to replace
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: Kelly Clarkson. She's authentic, she's a person you trust. She's
• 13:15
Speaker 1: not too over the top, but she's so interesting. She's beautiful,
• 13:19
Speaker 1: but not too stunning that it is. It really turns
• 13:21
Speaker 1: you off. She's that every person, that girl next door
• 13:25
Speaker 1: who we all love, who we all want to be
• 13:27
Speaker 1: friends with. And I know Hoder. Let me tell you
• 13:30
Speaker 1: the holder off camera is the holder on camera and
• 13:34
Speaker 1: that's her superpower. Good for you, Holder. Okay, quickly, before
• 13:38
Speaker 1: we go to break, there will be no prenup for
• 13:41
Speaker 1: Bill Bella check. So he is in the news with
• 13:44
Speaker 1: his twenty four year old The unsay Jordan, Well, they
• 13:47
Speaker 1: have just got engaged. The New York Times have all people,
• 13:50
Speaker 1: not us Weekly, not People, not the Naughty but Nice podcast,
• 13:54
Speaker 1: not TMC, not Radar, but no, the New York Times
• 13:57
Speaker 1: has revealed that they are engaged. That's how big a
• 14:00
Speaker 1: moment they are. Even the New York Times are covering
• 14:02
Speaker 1: these two. So Billy is seventy three, she's just twenty
• 14:05
Speaker 1: four years old. They have got engaged and now they
• 14:08
Speaker 1: are planning their wedding and sources tell me exclusively the
• 14:11
Speaker 1: Bill says he doesn't need a prenup. All he believes
• 14:16
Speaker 1: in Jordan. He trusts her completely and he doesn't want
• 14:20
Speaker 1: anything to get in the way of love. He's estimated
• 14:23
Speaker 1: to be worth about seventy million dollars. He owns a
• 14:27
Speaker 1: lot of properties. He's had decades in the NFL endorsement deals.
• 14:32
Speaker 1: No prenup. His family, his friends are really worried about this,
• 14:36
Speaker 1: but it's none of their business. You can advise somebody.
• 14:39
Speaker 1: I did not sign a prenup with Bruce. When I
• 14:41
Speaker 1: married Bruce, who's so much more successful than I am.
• 14:44
Speaker 1: He never asked, and had he asked, I would have
• 14:47
Speaker 1: signed it. But he never asked, and I was so
• 14:49
Speaker 1: young and innocent at the time. It's over twenty years ago.
• 14:52
Speaker 1: I'd never even heard of this sort of stuff. People
• 14:54
Speaker 1: that grew up like me didn't have prenups, and a
• 14:56
Speaker 1: regular people, there was nothing to have a prenup to protect.
• 15:00
Speaker 1: It was different when I married Bruce. He was way, way,
• 15:02
Speaker 1: way more successful, but no prenup came up. So love
• 15:06
Speaker 1: can exist with that a prenup. I know it's gonna
• 15:09
Speaker 1: be controversial here because the age difference, because of the
• 15:13
Speaker 1: control issues here. What do you think about this one?
• 15:16
Speaker 1: Is this a huge mistake? Okay, while you think about that,
• 15:20
Speaker 1: we're gonna take a quick break and we will be
• 15:21
Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to the Annaughty but my show
• 15:26
Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shooter. Hey, let's get to the polls.
• 15:28
Speaker 1: Do last show, we talked about Gwenneth Peltrow is dead
• 15:32
Speaker 1: serious about launching a new candle of follow up to
• 15:35
Speaker 1: her candle that was called it Smells like My vagina. Well,
• 15:39
Speaker 1: this new candle's gonna be called it smells like my bottom,
• 15:44
Speaker 1: except she's gonna say ass, which I'm not sure we
• 15:46
