Cicero police have issued an arrest warrant for 35-year-old Jonathan Carvillo-Varella, charging him with first-degree murder in the August 2025 death of 40-year-old Eduardo Mora Martinez. Found strangled in his bedroom after friends couldn’t reach him, Martinez’s case has gone cold for a year — until now.
