- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, today, let's dive into ETFs. One we are
- 0:03Speaker 1: going to be looking at today specifically is the h
- 0:06Speaker 1: BAR ETF by Canaric Capital. And if you've been watching
- 0:09Speaker 1: digital asset space for the last few years, you've noticed
- 0:12Speaker 1: a little bit of a pattern here, and I think
- 0:13Speaker 1: a lot of people have been dominated around two things.
- 0:16Speaker 1: One could be speculation, the other is course price volatility.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I think these are the things that right now we
- 0:22Speaker 1: are facing around the evolution of this space, and I
- 0:27Speaker 1: think the phase of where this technology is going. So
- 0:30Speaker 1: if you look past the noise, you're going to see
- 0:32Speaker 1: a few things. Past the meme coin cycles, there's a
- 0:34Speaker 1: little bit of a quiet shift happening right now in
- 0:37Speaker 1: the background, and I think it's maybe that we finally
- 0:40Speaker 1: have traditional capital, as they say, kind of the adults
- 0:44Speaker 1: have arrived to the market. So if you're an investor
- 0:47Speaker 1: out there, it's always how do I get exposure to
- 0:49Speaker 1: a lot of this infrastructure without getting into a confusing situation. Well,
- 0:55Speaker 1: that is what we're going to be talking about today.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Let's just jump right into it. So this is a
- 0:59Speaker 1: first and only exchange traded product that's being offered around
- 1:05Speaker 1: exposure HADERA to Hydera, and this, of course is brought
- 1:08Speaker 1: to you by Canary Capital. Why does this specific ETF
- 1:11Speaker 1: matter right now? There's a lot of them in the
- 1:13Speaker 1: space out there, and the idea is that the future
- 1:15Speaker 1: valuation around digital assets are not going to accrue around
- 1:19Speaker 1: networks built for anonymity or speculation, but networks that are
- 1:24Speaker 1: built for government, governance and compliance. And I think that's
- 1:27Speaker 1: what makes hbar quite a unique chain. Canary Capital, of course,
- 1:32Speaker 1: which is the one behind this, isn't just another asset
- 1:35Speaker 1: manager either. They're not just throwing any product at the wall.
- 1:38Speaker 1: We've had them on several times on the show. They're
- 1:41Speaker 1: going after very specific asset investments that are focused at
- 1:45Speaker 1: bridging the gap between blockchain innovation and the trad FI
- 1:49Speaker 1: capital markets. So that's where the entire philosophy is really focused.
- 1:53Speaker 1: And I think you have to look at this when
- 1:56Speaker 1: you consider financial activity at scale. Canary course and one
- 2:00Speaker 1: of the leaders out there. So when I look at
- 2:02Speaker 1: what they have been able to do, they kind of
- 2:05Speaker 1: stepped back, looked at the entire landscape and then they
- 2:08Speaker 1: jumped in on Hondera. Now, a lot of blockchains that
- 2:11Speaker 1: started as kind of the science experiments We've talked a
- 2:14Speaker 1: lot about them on the show. In kind of just
- 2:18Speaker 1: a general labs type environment, Hadera was architected a little
- 2:22Speaker 1: bit differently. It was supporting real world financial infrastructure, and
- 2:26Speaker 1: it's a network that was really designed to meet the
- 2:29Speaker 1: operational regulatory requirements for a lot of these enterprises that
- 2:33Speaker 1: are out there. That's why you see the Governance Board
- 2:35Speaker 1: and all the enterprise companies that are involved with them.
- 2:38Speaker 1: And we're also going to talk about why major players
- 2:40Speaker 1: like Blackrock, Aberdeen and even the State of Wyoming are
- 2:43Speaker 1: looking at this tech. All right, So when you look
- 2:45Speaker 1: at this a lot, as I said, for years, crypto
- 2:48Speaker 1: conversation's pretty much been dominated by retail speculation and meme coins, right,
- 2:52Speaker 1: but the real money is starting to look at how
- 2:55Speaker 1: do we go into some of these stable, more compliant
- 2:58Speaker 1: projects at scale, And that's where HBRE and its first
- 3:02Speaker 1: launch is really playing into maybe an overall program. The
- 3:08Speaker 1: concept was pretty straightforward. This isn't just another crypto project.
- 3:11Speaker 1: It's really a bet on infrastructure, and I think that's
- 3:14Speaker 1: why they have really put together a situation where they
- 3:18Speaker 1: are now moving toward networks that are built for regulated,
- 3:21Speaker 1: real world finance and Hadera and hbar. The ETF is
- 3:26Speaker 1: one of those. Let's get into Canary though, because Canary
- 3:29Speaker 1: Capital also not just another asset manager. They are a
- 3:32Speaker 1: bridge between blockchain innovation and traditional capital marks. I've had
- 3:36Speaker 1: Steven on many times, you and I have gone down
- 3:39Speaker 1: this path of why they are so different, and when
- 3:42Speaker 1: you look at their philosophy, they don't just go out
- 3:45Speaker 1: there and chase hype. They're really looking at networks that
- 3:47Speaker 1: are capable of supporting regulated financial activity at scale. And
- 3:52Speaker 1: if you think about what they really focus on here,
- 3:54Speaker 1: Canary really goes after transparency and investor protection. All of
- 3:59Speaker 1: this has to be set up with regulatory alignment as well.
- 4:02Speaker 1: So when you consider all of that along with why
- 4:05Speaker 1: they selected Hadera, it really aligns with the institutional expectations.
- 4:09Speaker 1: This is the thing about Wall Street right now that
- 4:11Speaker 1: we're dealing with. Risk management typically are one of the
- 4:15Speaker 1: key things that they're looking at, and if you think
- 4:17Speaker 1: about what they're doing, it's pretty native to the network
- 4:21Speaker 1: and it's not necessarily after taught when it comes to Hadera.
- 4:24Speaker 1: When you look at Hadera, it's built on hash graft consensus,
- 4:27Speaker 1: which avoids a lot of the bottlenecks of what older
- 4:30Speaker 1: blockchains are dealing with very predictable fees. That's one of
- 4:34Speaker 1: the key things. Speed is another major factor, and of
- 4:36Speaker 1: course throughput part of what makes them more of a
- 4:39Speaker 1: global scale compliant blockchain. And you look at that and
- 4:44Speaker 1: the highlight that Hadera has architected from pretty much day one,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you have to kind of consider what they've done around
- 4:51Speaker 1: their native KYC and AML enforcement. This, of course is
- 4:54Speaker 1: the Sadera Token Service HTS. This allows all institutions to
- 4:58Speaker 1: issue tokens with regulatory controls built directly into the asset.
- 5:02Speaker 1: So when you look at trust and where governance and
- 5:06Speaker 1: how they've built their council comes into play. A lot
- 5:09Speaker 1: of crypto has been really built around kind of these
- 5:12Speaker 1: anonymous ecosystems that have these mining pools that are somewhat concentrated.
- 5:17Speaker 1: The governing council is quite a bit different. This is
- 5:20Speaker 1: a line list of some of the best companies out there.
- 5:24Speaker 1: You've probably recognized all of them that we've talked about
- 5:26Speaker 1: here on the show, Google, IBM, Dell. Of course, no Mura,
- 5:30Speaker 1: even Standard Bank are involved in this. So this is
- 5:32Speaker 1: where I think they separate from the pack in terms
- 5:36Speaker 1: of authority. So when you look at adoption, a lot
- 5:39Speaker 1: of this is moving beyond the pilot side, and many
- 5:42Speaker 1: of these projects have been in pilots out there for
- 5:45Speaker 1: a long time. Madera is quite a bit different. Obviously,
- 5:48Speaker 1: they've had some major partnerships with Swarm at the Hadera Foundation.
- 5:53Speaker 1: This of course is getting into tokenized US equities. Whether
- 5:56Speaker 1: you think about Apple, Tasla, et cetera. This is twenty
- 5:58Speaker 1: four to seven real time trading back one to one.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Those are some of the key things. This of course
- 6:04Speaker 1: proves that Handera can handle regulated securities and DeFi simultaneously.
- 6:10Speaker 1: And also don't forget that they were one of the
- 6:12Speaker 1: major tokens behind in projects behind the State of Wyoming
- 6:16Speaker 1: in the public sector that highlighted the opportunity of being
- 6:20Speaker 1: able to utilize Hadera for the front This was the
- 6:23Speaker 1: frn T stable token. Why is that significant? Wyoming is
- 6:27Speaker 1: a major regulatory pioneer. They are setting the standard for
- 6:31Speaker 1: what could come out in state issued stable coins down
- 6:34Speaker 1: the road. So why now, Well, most of the market
- 6:37Speaker 1: I think has started to move from pilots to production.
- 6:40Speaker 1: That's where HBr offers a lot more exposure and transition
- 6:44Speaker 1: into this phase. This is why you guys need to
- 6:47Speaker 1: take a look at this and when you look at
- 6:49Speaker 1: HBr and what it offers the ETF familiar access via
- 6:54Speaker 1: an ETF. This is a normal process I think a
- 6:57Speaker 1: lot of investors have started to consider. And also it's
- 7:00Speaker 1: the convergence of registered investment designed by enterprise grade infrastructure,
- 7:06Speaker 1: meaning that HBr, designed in through Hydera is kind of
- 7:11Speaker 1: setting the tone for what this really is going to
- 7:13Speaker 1: look like in the future. So HBr maybe the vehicle
- 7:16Speaker 1: to get you there. Make sure and check it out.
- 7:19Speaker 1: You guys can visit Canary Capital. They've launched the first
- 7:22Speaker 1: and only ETF HBr. Make sure and visit their website
