- 0:08Speaker 1: Sure, love Lo lo and love and love and love. Hello.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Sham your host Rob's Shooter.
- 0:19Speaker 1: It is Wednesday. Normally every Wednesday, our dear friend Donnie
- 0:23Speaker 1: meets them, joins us he can't be here today. It's
- 0:25Speaker 1: not his fault, it's my fault. I'm doing so much publicity,
- 0:28Speaker 1: so many interviews. Thankfully, I don't say that as a
- 0:31Speaker 1: bad thing. I'm really grateful for my book, which is
- 0:34Speaker 1: now just weeks away, so I'm trying to turn up
- 0:37Speaker 1: the heat on sales and do lots of interviews. It
- 0:39Speaker 1: just made the timing of the taping of the show
- 0:43Speaker 1: really difficult, with Donnie being in La Me and New York.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I hope you forgive me. I'm sure you will. He will.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I know he'll be listening. So Hello, Hell, hello Donnie.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Let's jump into the show. What time is it, my friends?
- 0:55Speaker 1: It is tea time. Big story. At the top of
- 0:58Speaker 1: the show, this is a complicated story. Tyler Perry is
- 1:01Speaker 1: blasting a seventy seven million dollars sexual assault lawsuit, calling
- 1:08Speaker 1: it a quote money grab. So Tyler Perry is fighting back,
- 1:13Speaker 1: really fighting back hard at a seventy seven million dollar
- 1:17Speaker 1: sexual assault lawsuit, calling it a shameless money grab. In
- 1:23Speaker 1: new court filings which I've been going over all morning,
- 1:27Speaker 1: Perry claims that the actor and model his name is
- 1:30Speaker 1: rab Mario Rodriguez, is putting out outlandish falsehoods with no
- 1:38Speaker 1: basis in fact or law. He goes on to say
- 1:43Speaker 1: that none of this ever happened Mario. He alleges that
- 1:48Speaker 1: Tyler Perry made unwanted advances after casting him in a
- 1:54Speaker 1: Medea Halloween film. Tyler Perry denies any misconduct, claiming that
- 2:01Speaker 1: Mario repeatedly sought financial help and retaliated when the money stopped.
- 2:07Speaker 1: So what Tyler is saying here is that Mario was
- 2:10Speaker 1: a struggling actor. He got the opportunity of a lifetime
- 2:14Speaker 1: to be in a Medea movie. I love those movies.
- 2:18Speaker 1: They do make me giggle. They're very, very successful at
- 2:20Speaker 1: the box office. So he was cast in a movie
- 2:22Speaker 1: that was going to be a big hit. These Medea
- 2:25Speaker 1: movies do really, really well. So he got a good salary,
- 2:28Speaker 1: but not Julia Roberts' money. Nobody knows who Mario Roderiguez is.
- 2:33Speaker 1: He's not Brad Pitt, he's not George Clooney. So he
- 2:36Speaker 1: earned a good living. But I think the mistake a
- 2:38Speaker 1: lot of people make is they think if you were
- 2:41Speaker 1: on television, if you're in a movie, you're making millions.
- 2:44Speaker 1: You're not. I have a lot of friends who are actors,
- 2:47Speaker 1: and they make sixty eighty one hundred thousand dollars a year,
- 2:51Speaker 1: a good income, but not the twenty million that you
- 2:54Speaker 1: think of when you think of Julia Roberts or a
- 2:56Speaker 1: George Clooney. And so Mario was struggling to pay his bills,
- 3:01Speaker 1: and Tyler Perry is saying that throughout the filming of
- 3:05Speaker 1: the project, Mario constantly asked him for financial help. Can
- 3:10Speaker 1: I have a little bit money here? Can I have
- 3:12Speaker 1: a little bit of money there? I need to pay
- 3:14Speaker 1: this bill? Can you help me pay that bill? That's
- 3:16Speaker 1: what Tyler Perry is saying, happened to you. And at
- 3:19Speaker 1: first Tyler Perry gave him money. But when he stopped,
- 3:24Speaker 1: that's when things got really, really ugly, is what Tyler
- 3:29Speaker 1: Perry is saying. Here. I have a friend, a friend
- 3:33Speaker 1: of mine who moved to la and fell upon hard times,
- 3:37Speaker 1: and a lot of us helped him. We helped him financially. However,
- 3:42Speaker 1: it did get to a point where we were just
- 3:45Speaker 1: giving money. It felt like every other month, and a
- 3:49Speaker 1: lot of us said, will help you get some emotional
- 3:52Speaker 1: help there. It might have been a drug problem, will
- 3:54Speaker 1: help you find a rehab, But just sending you a
- 3:57Speaker 1: check every month is something that we didn't do for
- 4:02Speaker 1: that long, maybe longer than we should have. I still
- 4:05Speaker 1: get texts from him every so often, really asking for money.
- 4:08Speaker 1: It's that clear. It's not Hello, how are you. It's like,
- 4:12Speaker 1: I'm really struggling. Can you send money? I've stopped. I
- 4:16Speaker 1: don't do that anymore. I'm happy to get you a
- 4:18Speaker 1: hotel room, I'm happy to try and figure out some
- 4:21Speaker 1: sort of treatment. But I can't just keep giving you cash.
- 4:25Speaker 1: That's the point that Tyler Perry seems to be suggesting
- 4:29Speaker 1: that he got to he just couldn't keep sending money,
- 4:32Speaker 1: giving money. And now Tyler Perry is asking the court
- 4:35Speaker 1: to throw this case out, toss it out entirely for now.
- 4:39Speaker 1: It really is a he said, and he said showdown
- 4:43Speaker 1: with millions of dollars on the line. What's going to
- 4:46Speaker 1: be important here in this case is text messages, is emails.
- 4:51Speaker 1: People now tell you everything on their phones, and you
- 4:55Speaker 1: have a record ten twenty years ago, when I was
- 4:59Speaker 1: having conversations with people, we had a conversation, we hung
- 5:02Speaker 1: up and that was the end of that. Nobody knew
- 5:04Speaker 1: what we said. Now, most of my conversations do not
- 5:08Speaker 1: happen verbally. They happen with my thumbs. I'm texting all
- 5:12Speaker 1: day long, and I like it because now you have
- 5:15Speaker 1: a record, You have a definitive record of what was said,
- 5:19Speaker 1: what was replied. And I don't think I hold on
- 5:22Speaker 1: to text messages to cover my bottom or to prove
- 5:27Speaker 1: a point, but it is nice to know that these
- 5:31Speaker 1: things do. He exists, and Tyler Perry has a lot
- 5:34Speaker 1: of money. Friendsic. Forensic people can go into his phone.
- 5:38Speaker 1: You can find old texts just because you delete them.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I don't know how to do this, but if you
- 5:42Speaker 1: delete a text, it still exists somewhere. Don't ask me where,
- 5:45Speaker 1: but it still exists somewhere. So Tyler Perry's people are
- 5:49Speaker 1: now going through all his texts and they think these
- 5:52Speaker 1: proved very very clearly that Tyler was generous, Tyler was kind,
- 5:56Speaker 1: and when he finally said no, then this sexual assault
- 5:59Speaker 1: law suit was filed. Now we've got to point out
- 6:02Speaker 1: the other side here. Mario or Rodriguez claims he has
- 6:06Speaker 1: text messages too, and he will have somebody go through
- 6:09Speaker 1: his phone and if there are saucy messages, if there's
- 6:13Speaker 1: messages about hooking up, meeting at a hotels, having late
- 6:18Speaker 1: night work sessions, then we can also look at those.
- 6:21Speaker 1: At the moment, it's a he said, he said, we
- 6:24Speaker 1: don't know the outcome. Tyler Perry wants this lawsuit tossed out,
- 6:28Speaker 1: thrown away. I don't think that's going to happen. I
- 6:31Speaker 1: think it's gonna go forward and evidence is gonna be presented,
- 6:35Speaker 1: which brings us to our whole question of the day.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Tyler Perry is blasting a seventy seven million dollar lawsuit.
- 6:43Speaker 1: He says it is a money grab. Do you believe him?
- 6:48Speaker 1: Do you believe Tyler Perry? I know that we think
- 6:51Speaker 1: we love him, We love the characters he plays, madea
- 6:54Speaker 1: and almost fabulous creations. But that isn't him. That's him
- 6:57Speaker 1: on a big screen, that's him on a tell Vision screen,
- 7:00Speaker 1: that's him in a movie, in a TV show. Do
- 7:03Speaker 1: we really know Tyler Perry? What do you think? He? Go?
- 7:07Speaker 1: Vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rom Our
- 7:11Speaker 1: Facebook page is naughty gossip and sure to check back
- 7:16Speaker 1: tomorrow to hear your results. Okay, moving along, Maybe Mamma
- 7:21Speaker 1: does know best. Zandea's mother is given a side eye
- 7:24Speaker 1: to the secret that she might her daughter might be married. Ouch,
- 7:31Speaker 1: so lor Roach, I love that name. He's a stylist.
- 7:35Speaker 1: He has worked with Zandea for years. He's a brilliantly
- 7:38Speaker 1: talented stylist and a lot of people credit him for
- 7:42Speaker 1: really creating her bold look. She always looks amazing on
- 7:45Speaker 1: the red carpet. Well, he was on the red carpet
- 7:47Speaker 1: himself at the Sagawards, and he laughed to Access Hollywood
- 7:51Speaker 1: when he was asked about the wedding. He was asked
- 7:52Speaker 1: about the wedding dress, and he raised an eyebrown said
- 7:56Speaker 1: they might already be married. Well, now Zandaa's has captioned
- 8:01Speaker 1: that little SoundBite with the laugh translation. Not so fast,
- 8:07Speaker 1: so Roach said, quote, the wedding has happened already, you
- 8:12Speaker 1: missed it. But nows Andaya's camp are notoriously famously tight lipped.
- 8:18Speaker 1: They are giving a few hints that this is just
- 8:21Speaker 1: all clickbait. They're playing with us. They are not married.
- 8:24Speaker 1: We don't know here, is there a secret ceremony. Is
- 8:27Speaker 1: this Hollywood high part they having fun with us? Are
- 8:30Speaker 1: they playing with us? There's one thing that is certain.
- 8:33Speaker 1: If there was a wedding, they're not sharing the guest list.
- 8:36Speaker 1: They are keeping this secret. I love Tom Holland as
- 8:40Speaker 1: Zendeya have managed to carve out a private life for themselves.
- 8:43Speaker 1: It works for them. It doesn't have to work for
- 8:45Speaker 1: every celebrity, but for them, they want to keep it
- 8:48Speaker 1: about the work, not them personally. They're never in the tabloids,
- 8:52Speaker 1: They're never looking for for extra publicity. These are not
- 8:56Speaker 1: real housewives, They're not Kardashians. This is how they live
- 8:59Speaker 1: their life. I think it's absolutely amazing. So we just
- 9:02Speaker 1: do not know. Eventually we will. There has been some
- 9:06Speaker 1: photos of her and she does look as if she's
- 9:08Speaker 1: wearing a wedding band. There has been some photos of
- 9:11Speaker 1: her where she doesn't look like she's wearing a wedding band.
- 9:15Speaker 1: My good here is that they have not got married yet,
- 9:20Speaker 1: because if they had, I don't think her stylist would
- 9:23Speaker 1: even be joking about it. It's only funny if they're
- 9:26Speaker 1: still single and you're teasing it to the press, you're
- 9:30Speaker 1: leading the press down the wrong path. That makes this funny. Now,
- 9:33Speaker 1: she she has to be approving of this. She could
- 9:37Speaker 1: call him, she could text him and say stop, I
- 9:40Speaker 1: don't want to talk about this. You're not helping. It's
- 9:42Speaker 1: not funny. She would do that if she was married.
- 9:45Speaker 1: If she's not married, she's probably having a good laugh
- 9:47Speaker 1: about this one. So my gut instincts. And once again
- 9:50Speaker 1: here I'm a terrific reporter, but this is not reporting.
- 9:52Speaker 1: This is just my feelings. I'm always honest on the
- 9:54Speaker 1: show when I give you my opinions rather than the facts,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and here just an opinion. I don't think they are
- 10:02Speaker 1: married yet. I do believe this was a little bit
- 10:06Speaker 1: of a tease. This was a little bit of fun.
- 10:08Speaker 1: But he could only do it. The stylist could only
- 10:10Speaker 1: have a little bit of fun if they're not married.
- 10:13Speaker 1: If they are married, then he's betrayed her. Then he
- 10:15Speaker 1: has announced it. And he's not going to do that
- 10:18Speaker 1: because she is his cash cow. Let's be honest. He's
- 10:21Speaker 1: super talented, but she put him on the map too.
- 10:24Speaker 1: She's the one that has changed his career. He works
- 10:28Speaker 1: with a lot of celebrities, but Sandeia is the big
- 10:31Speaker 1: one here and he's not going to be messing with that.
- 10:34Speaker 1: When I worked with Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Lopez and
- 10:36Speaker 1: Alicia Keys, they're glam squad, that's what we call them.
- 10:39Speaker 1: The stylists, the hair and the makeup people. They knew
- 10:42Speaker 1: where their money was coming from. And they never ever
- 10:45Speaker 1: ever upset the boss. They never leaked, They never talked
- 10:48Speaker 1: about Jessica's relationship with Nick nick Lache or anybody else.
- 10:53Speaker 1: They earn a lot of money working with the star
- 10:57Speaker 1: and so they are not going to betray that trust.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I don't think they're married. What do you think? Okay?
- 11:03Speaker 1: Moving along? Carry Underwood fires back after getting booed oh
- 11:07Speaker 1: ouch all American Idol, the crowd turned on her. So
- 11:10Speaker 1: when the American Idol audience tried to drown out Carrie
- 11:15Speaker 1: over a critique of a contestant song, she didn't flinch.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I like it. She is tough, she said, boomy, I
- 11:23Speaker 1: don't care. Your boos are feeding me. She doubled down
- 11:28Speaker 1: on it. The crowd bristled after she called a song
- 11:32Speaker 1: choice a missed opportunity. Now fellow judges jumped in and said,
- 11:37Speaker 1: she's only would this, you know, so they disagreed with her. Too,
- 11:42Speaker 1: and so this was a really sort of funny but
- 11:44Speaker 1: a little bit of a tense moment. It's never nice
- 11:47Speaker 1: to be booed, never boo It was not an a
- 11:51Speaker 1: comfortable moment. She handled it. I thought, very very well.
- 11:55Speaker 1: She is so strong, She's been through it all. She
- 11:58Speaker 1: started on reality she knows Martine's like to have to
- 12:02Speaker 1: work your way up, to have to earn respect. When
- 12:04Speaker 1: she started on American Idol, it was at the beginning.
- 12:09Speaker 1: It was after Kelly Clarkson, but it still was the
- 12:12Speaker 1: early days in Kelly Clarkson has been really eloquent about this.
- 12:15Speaker 1: She's told us it was awful. People were really awful
- 12:19Speaker 1: to her. After she won American Idol. She would go
- 12:22Speaker 1: to red carpet events and the real stars I used
- 12:25Speaker 1: that in quotes. The real stars were vile to her,
- 12:28Speaker 1: They ignored her. I've being on carpets twenty years ago
- 12:31Speaker 1: when Kelly Clarkson would turn up and the celebrities were
- 12:33Speaker 1: not that nice to her. Reality TV it'd still look
- 12:36Speaker 1: down upon a little bit, but back then it was
- 12:38Speaker 1: really thought of as the bottom of the barrel. And
- 12:41Speaker 1: so I think here, I know here that Carrie Underwood
- 12:45Speaker 1: was in the same position. She's very respected. Now she's
- 12:48Speaker 1: one Grammys, she is respected as a brilliant musician. She's very,
- 12:52Speaker 1: very talented. But back when she won, everybody felt it
- 12:54Speaker 1: was almost like you were cheating, that you hadn't paid
- 12:56Speaker 1: your dues. That these other celebrities, these other singers, had
- 12:59Speaker 1: been playing piano bars, had been working their way up,
- 13:02Speaker 1: and suddenly Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood went on a
- 13:05Speaker 1: television show and became famous overnight, sold millions of records.
- 13:09Speaker 1: It was almost like they were cheating. They were not,
- 13:11Speaker 1: but that's how celebrities who did it the old fashioned
- 13:14Speaker 1: way used to think. That has now changed, but the
- 13:17Speaker 1: scars are still there. Carrie Underwood is one tough cookie
- 13:21Speaker 1: and I am all for it. This story made me gasp,
- 13:25Speaker 1: but I know it is true. Netflix might be bringing
- 13:29Speaker 1: The Crown back to cover the Andrew downfall drama. So
- 13:34Speaker 1: just when you thought the Royal Saga had closed its curtains,
- 13:37Speaker 1: insiders are saying that Netflix is considering reviving The Crown
- 13:41Speaker 1: they finished. If you remember it ended a few years
- 13:43Speaker 1: ago with William and Kate. Well, now this Andrew's story,
- 13:48Speaker 1: it's grabbing headlines around the world. Everybody is talking about it.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Maybe it's the moment for The Crown to come back.
- 13:56Speaker 1: So with Hollywood, they are racing to dramatize this scandal
- 14:00Speaker 1: surrounding the ties with Jeffrey Epstein, and the streamer Netflix
- 14:06Speaker 1: might be the first to do it. So The Crown
- 14:09Speaker 1: ended in twenty twenty three, three, four, five, six, three
- 14:12Speaker 1: years ago, but the brand lives on. It's a very
- 14:14Speaker 1: very popular show still, even though they're not making any
- 14:17Speaker 1: new episodes. The back catalog is always making money. It's
- 14:20Speaker 1: always on the streamers, and so people really have a
- 14:23Speaker 1: fund memory of it. So it would be easy to
- 14:26Speaker 1: reboot it. And this would be one hell of a
- 14:29Speaker 1: story to tell. So if it moves forward, this is
- 14:33Speaker 1: going to be a ratings a ratings fit for a king.
- 14:37Speaker 1: It's going to be massive. Although what do they do
- 14:40Speaker 1: with Harry and Meghan? They had a Netflix deal? Will
- 14:43Speaker 1: they be asked their opinion? They're probably for it. This
- 14:46Speaker 1: Andrew drama has taken everything away from all their problems,
- 14:49Speaker 1: and so I think this is probably probably gonna happen.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Why do you think. Okay, we're going to take a
- 14:55Speaker 1: quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
- 15:00Speaker 1: to the Naughty but naisham your house rab shooter. Hey,
- 15:04Speaker 1: let's get to the polls DA DA dah lasher. We've
- 15:08Speaker 1: talked about Savannah's heartbreaking, really really emotional breakdown at her
- 15:13Speaker 1: mom's Nancy's memorial, so she went to the house. Now
- 15:18Speaker 1: it has been over thirty days since her mom disappeared,
- 15:21Speaker 1: and the garden, the house, the grounds are covered with
- 15:24Speaker 1: yellow ribbons, yellow flowers. While Savannah turned up with her
- 15:28Speaker 1: siblings and a bunch of yellow flowers and put them
- 15:31Speaker 1: down for her mom with a beautiful, beautiful note. The
- 15:35Speaker 1: family has come to the realization that this story might
- 15:39Speaker 1: end in a way that we all feared. They're there now.
- 15:42Speaker 1: They are smart people, they are realistic people, they are
- 15:45Speaker 1: hopeful people. But they know our question was quite simple,
- 15:50Speaker 1: well they ever solve this case? Is this now a
- 15:52Speaker 1: cold case? All the resources, all the media attention around
- 15:57Speaker 1: the web that has been on this case, and still
- 16:01Speaker 1: we're no nearer to solving it. In fact, I think
- 16:05Speaker 1: we're even farther away. Nobody's been arrested, no one's come
- 16:09Speaker 1: forward with a really valuable tip. What do you think here?
- 16:13Speaker 1: Will this case ever be solved? Eighty percent said sadly, no,
- 16:18Speaker 1: you don't think it will heartbreaking. Hey, don't forget to
- 16:21Speaker 1: vote on today's Poul will go to work Twitter page
- 16:24Speaker 1: at naughty nice Rob. I have Facebook pages naughty gilsip
- 16:27Speaker 1: and me. Sure to check back to morrow to hear
- 16:30Speaker 1: your results. And now it's time for and nicest other
- 16:35Speaker 1: day all. My nicest of the day is Kim Kardashian
- 16:38Speaker 1: and Lilis Hamilton are getting very, very close. So the
- 16:42Speaker 1: two have been spotted together in Arizona. They were taking pictures.
- 16:47Speaker 1: They were on red rocks. It looks like Paradise. The sunset,
- 16:51Speaker 1: skies blaze. They were on boat rides. They were having
- 16:54Speaker 1: a fantastic time. He was spotted shirtless, Hello Helloa low
- 16:58Speaker 1: going for a jog. She's served up her canyon Glaboor.
- 17:03Speaker 1: She looked fabulous. So there were no couple picks. However,
- 17:07Speaker 1: we did see individual pictures of them. There. People are
- 17:09Speaker 1: saying they are a power pair and they pose for
- 17:13Speaker 1: the sunset. These two are the real deal. We just
- 17:15Speaker 1: spotted them having dinner together in Paris. Good for you, bonjour.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Now they're in Arizona, so they're not officially together yet,
- 17:23Speaker 1: but it looks as if Kim has finally found a
- 17:27Speaker 1: really nice sky. We are rooting for you and nicest
- 17:30Speaker 1: the other day, and naughty is the day, naughty, naughty, naughty.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I think Justin Timberlake here is really missing an opportunity
- 17:38Speaker 1: to really set a wrong right. So Justin is suing
- 17:43Speaker 1: to bury DWI body camera he feels would ruin his career.
- 17:48Speaker 1: So it looks like Justin wants the cameras off permanently.
- 17:51Speaker 1: The Pops Prince is suing the village of Sagharbor to
- 17:55Speaker 1: block the release of body camera footage from his twenty
- 17:59Speaker 1: twenty four arrest, arguing that it shows him in a acutely
- 18:05Speaker 1: vulnerable state transitation here translation, It's not the polished version
- 18:11Speaker 1: of Justin we're used to seeing, so to say it
- 18:14Speaker 1: might ruin him, this is going to show a sign
- 18:16Speaker 1: of Justin that he has worked his whole career to hide.
- 18:20Speaker 1: It's not a new site. People that know Justin tell
- 18:23Speaker 1: me he's a party boy. This is a guy who
- 18:25Speaker 1: has an edge. However, he likes to present himself in
- 18:27Speaker 1: a very different way when he's on stage, when he's
- 18:30Speaker 1: making music. The truth. These are the truth, and I
- 18:33Speaker 1: don't think there should be special rules just because you're
- 18:35Speaker 1: a celebrity. If this video would be released on you
- 18:40Speaker 1: or me, then it should be on justin. We're sick,
- 18:43Speaker 1: aren't We were all sick of special rules for special people.
- 18:47Speaker 1: I use special in quotes for celebrities. After the Epstein case,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I'm just so mad that rich and powerful people clearly
- 18:55Speaker 1: get away with stuff that we would not. I'm over it.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I'm over these billionaire I'm over these really wealthy people,
