Q&A with President Trump: Russia, Hubbard, Iran, Cartels
President Donald J. Trump takes questions from reporters as he departs the White House for South Carolina on Oct. 21, 2026, where he says he is campaigning for Darleen Graham.
He talks about Stephen Hubbard, an American he says is flying home from Russia after a fast negotiation with President Putin, and explains why he held off on sanctions against Russia while talks on Ukraine may be close to a deal.
He also discusses Iran, a possible meeting on denuclearization, and Treasury Department sanctions on Mexican cartels.
