- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Mark Simone Show, Live from the
- 0:03Speaker 1: w R Life Back studios. Hey, we'll take some calls.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven tennis the number.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Let's go to doctor Bob in Long Island. Doctor Bob,
- 0:15Speaker 1: how you doing, Hey.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Mark, Mark, congratulations and a gift to us that you're
- 0:20Speaker 2: on the extra hours.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Well, I'm happy to do it, but everybody keeps saying
- 0:23Speaker 1: congratulations this he's getting up an hour earlier.
- 0:26Speaker 2: I know, I know that award, you got it several
- 0:28Speaker 2: weeks back. We're proud of you for that too. I
- 0:31Speaker 2: think it's fabulous and it's a gift to all of
- 0:33Speaker 2: us to have you on. Meanwhile, you know this, uh uh,
- 0:37Speaker 2: the nine to eleven twentieth anniversary. I think it's a
- 0:41Speaker 2: very important thing. The grieving families from nine to eleven
- 0:45Speaker 2: started a petition to get Modonmie not to be down there.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I think it's very important that we back up that petition.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Well, obviously we know we do, but he has said
- 0:54Speaker 1: he will be there absolutely.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Well, there's got to be a way to prevent it, because.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Well, maybe have ye grieving, maybe have net Yaho come
- 1:01Speaker 1: arrest them or something like that. Anyway, Thanks, for calling. Yeah,
- 1:04Speaker 1: nobody wants them there. It's gonna be uh interesting. I
- 1:07Speaker 1: think he better rethink this. He absolutely says he will
- 1:12Speaker 1: be there and he will stand with the nine to
- 1:13Speaker 1: eleven families. Now they're gonna do one of those turn
- 1:16Speaker 1: their back on him. They'll turn their back on him,
- 1:20Speaker 1: and it's not gonna be good for him. Remember Deblasio
- 1:22Speaker 1: tried that with the police and they all turn their
- 1:24Speaker 1: back and it was damaging the Deblasio. So the mayor
- 1:27Speaker 1: should rethink this. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 1:31Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 1:32Speaker 3: Good morning, mark Ya, Mike.
- 1:35Speaker 4: This this extra hour constitutes a major change in my life.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I'm not sure if it's for a good but it's great.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Well, but I see I have to get up an
- 1:44Speaker 1: hour earlier. You live in Florida, where you all get
- 1:46Speaker 1: up at five am.
- 1:48Speaker 4: That's true, and it also points out how pathetic my
- 1:53Speaker 4: life is.
- 1:54Speaker 1: It's not just you, everybody in Florida. You're all over
- 1:57Speaker 1: book or at on any place. They're up at five.
- 2:00Speaker 1: They're waiting, like for the Starbucks to open at six.
- 2:02Speaker 1: They're standing outside it.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Right, and they understand happy hour. They have to get
- 2:07Speaker 4: to the free samples at Sam's Club into happy hour
- 2:09Speaker 4: so they can leave promptly at six pm when happy
- 2:12Speaker 4: hours over.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Yeah, hilarious, it's cheaper. But you know, I don't understand
- 2:17Speaker 1: why Starbucks doesn't see this phenomenon and just have all
- 2:20Speaker 1: their Florida locations open at four am.
- 2:23Speaker 4: It's beyond me because and the funny thing is they
- 2:26Speaker 4: could close it ten because everybody's back inside by ten
- 2:29Speaker 4: when you know, when it gets too accurate for them
- 2:31Speaker 4: to do anything. All right, Well, but you know, I
- 2:35Speaker 4: was gonna mention that the press and these liberal politicians
- 2:38Speaker 4: all have glass jaws. You know, none of them could
- 2:40Speaker 4: take a punch. They can audish it out, but none
- 2:42Speaker 4: of them can take, you know, take it when it's
- 2:44Speaker 4: you know, giving back to them like, which is why
- 2:47Speaker 4: they hate Trump so much.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Well, but it's it's Trump arrangements because Bush would make
- 2:51Speaker 1: fun of the press, Reagan would make fun of the press.
- 2:53Speaker 1: They just hate Trump so much that if he does
- 2:55Speaker 1: anything normal that any president does, it's suddenly the worst
- 2:58Speaker 1: crisis in the world.
- 3:00Speaker 3: But exactly, Mike.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Thanks for I know you're on your way to lunch.
- 3:03Speaker 1: It's ten thirty. Pleas, thanks for calling. Let's go to
- 3:09Speaker 1: uh Alex in Levittown. Alex, how you doing?
- 3:13Speaker 3: Hi? How are you there? Mark?
- 3:15Speaker 1: Good?
- 3:15Speaker 3: And thanks to the extra were love listening to you.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 3:19Speaker 3: You just want to make me known about the mayor
- 3:21Speaker 3: because he appointed I've written the paper. He appointed eighteen
- 3:24Speaker 3: members to the Advisory Committee on the Judiciary and doesn't
- 3:28Speaker 3: seem to be one Jewish person on that Listen, they
- 3:31Speaker 3: decide about judge ships and other appointments. You're talking about
- 3:37Speaker 3: the one Jewish person on that committee, about the mayor. Yes,
- 3:39Speaker 3: about me and Mom Donney.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Yeah, you were looking. You were looking for the Mom
- 3:43Speaker 1: Donnie to put Jewish people on the committee.
- 3:48Speaker 3: And the committee there's so many Jewish judges, not one.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I understand one person that committee.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Because Mom Donnie's the biggest anti Semite we've ever had it.
- 3:55Speaker 3: I know, I know, so I know. I don't know
- 3:59Speaker 3: what's going what's gonna happened to us in the next
- 4:01Speaker 3: three and a half years.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Well, we survived a lot of things. We'll survive this guy.
- 4:05Speaker 1: But thanks for calling. You know who loves Mamdani, the
- 4:08Speaker 1: Blasio and Adams. You know why, because suddenly nobody can
- 4:11Speaker 1: call them bat mayors anymore. They were LaGuardia Compared to
- 4:15Speaker 1: this guy. It's like when Joe Biden came along, Jimmy
- 4:19Speaker 1: Carter was so happy because he was always referred to
- 4:23Speaker 1: as the worst president ever. Once Biden showed up, Carter
- 4:25Speaker 1: never had to worry again. Take one more call, Neil
- 4:28Speaker 1: in Brooklyn. What do you want to say, Neil?
- 4:31Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 4:31Speaker 5: Yeah. As someone who always enjoyed the correspondents dinner, no
- 4:35Speaker 5: matter who the president was. When they had the violence
- 4:39Speaker 5: at their last one and they all went to the
- 4:41Speaker 5: press room later, I think that Trump thought there was
- 4:45Speaker 5: a tent between him and the press, and that's why
- 4:49Speaker 5: he happily went and rearranged to have this new one.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, I know you're right.
- 4:55Speaker 1: He Trump and he talks to the press. If Maggie
- 4:59Speaker 1: Herman calls, he takes the call. He always gets on
- 5:01Speaker 1: the phone with them. Jonathan Carl he always thinks he's
- 5:04Speaker 1: gonna win them over at some point. You know, he's
- 5:07Speaker 1: the greatest salesman. He thinks at some point he's gonna
- 5:10Speaker 1: win them over. I know seems a little silly, but
- 5:14Speaker 1: that kind of optimism, I guess if you need to
- 5:17Speaker 1: be a great entrepreneur. Hey, when we come back, the
- 5:20Speaker 1: greatest pollster in the world. Not these fake public poles.
- 5:23Speaker 1: These are the real, deadly accurate polls the candidates use,
- 5:26Speaker 1: the ones behind the scenes. We'll talk to the best
- 5:29Speaker 1: of them all, John McLaughlin about the midterms, about all
- 5:32Speaker 1: sorts of things coming up next on seven to ten
- 5:35Speaker 1: w
