- 0:00Speaker 1: This is Kiss Breakfast.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, now, what do you got?
- 0:04Speaker 3: So, you know, Princess Diana's brother, sorry, who he did
- 0:08Speaker 3: that book recently.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Where he claims that King Charles said we'll forget her
- 0:15Speaker 3: soon enough right after Diana passed.
- 0:17Speaker 1: So that same brother... has been doing.
- 0:19Speaker 3: A bunch of interviews, and he said in a new
- 0:21Speaker 3: interview who he thinks, actress-wise, portrayed his sister the best. Okay.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Because obviously there's been a fair.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Few shows and movies like The Crown that are based
- 0:29Speaker 3: on the royals and everything. So he said which actress
- 0:32Speaker 3: he thinks nailed his sister the most.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Let's take a listen.
- 0:36Speaker 4: So I don't watch The Crown, so I can't talk
- 0:38Speaker 4: about that. I know that the person who acted that
- 0:42Speaker 4: part has received lots of awards, so I'm sure she
- 0:45Speaker 4: did a good job. I've not seen it. But I
- 0:47Speaker 4: was on a plane and I saw a movie called Spencer.
- 0:52Speaker 4: I thought, I better look at that. And there was
- 0:56Speaker 4: Kristen Stewart, who doesn't really look like Diana, but my goodness,
- 1:01Speaker 4: she caught the spirit. I thought it was an incredible performance.
- 1:04Speaker 4: The film's terrible.
- 1:06Speaker 1: It really.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Is.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I'm horrified you even got through it, actually.
- 1:11Speaker 4: But I was really intrigued by how good she was
- 1:14Speaker 4: at capturing Diana.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Yeah, wow. We're looking at photos on our screen here.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Kristen Stewart, who I'd say is pretty criticized as an actress.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Especially her performance in Twilight. It's quite meme-able.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:26Speaker 1: She's just an odd actress.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Does look like her, though, doesn't she?
- 1:29Speaker 3: Well, he said she doesn't. He said she doesn't look
- 1:32Speaker 3: like her, but captured the essence of Diana. Right. I
- 1:35Speaker 3: haven't seen, I'm not really a royalist. I don't really
- 1:37Speaker 3: watch any of the things about the royals.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I like The Crown. I'd re-watch that. And the woman
- 1:41Speaker 2: who played her in The Crown, I thought, did a
- 1:43Speaker 2: good job, but not according to him.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Well, he said he hasn't watched that one. But if
- 1:48Speaker 1: you had a movie made about your life, you wish,
- 1:50Speaker 1: who would play you?
- 1:51Speaker 2: Oh, Brad Pitt.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Oh, come on.
- 1:54Speaker 2: John Draper or whatever his name is.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Who's that?
- 1:57Speaker 2: Wait, is that the character's name in Mad Men? John Hamm. Yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 1: John Draper. We've just Googled John Draper. I don't think
- 2:04Speaker 1: you mean him. John Hamm.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Yeah, probably him.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yeah. First of all, what stupidness?
- 2:11Speaker 1: Brad Pitt.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Brad Pitt. Yeah.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Who's that actor that when people tried to diss you
- 2:15Speaker 1: back in the day, they used to compare you to?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Oh, the gay guy out of.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Oh, Sheldon out of Big Bang Theory.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Bring that up.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Big Bang Theory.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Is that more like it? You're saying John Hamm. I
- 2:28Speaker 1: don't think so, buddy.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Also, Kelly Clarkson has slammed a toy shop in Brooklyn
- 2:36Speaker 3: because they did a Pretty Woman on it. So, you
- 2:38Speaker 3: know that scene, the iconic scene in Pretty Woman where
- 2:41Speaker 3: she goes into a store. She's still dressed in like her,
- 2:44Speaker 3: you know, Lady of the Night clothes.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:46Speaker 3: And she goes into the store because she's been given
- 2:48Speaker 3: the rich guy's credit card to go and buy herself
- 2:50Speaker 3: some new outfits.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Yep.
- 2:51Speaker 3: And then when she goes in, they basically say, oh,
- 2:53Speaker 3: we have nothing for you in here.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Perhaps try wherever they suggest.
- 2:56Speaker 2: They're really rude and talk down to her.
- 2:57Speaker 3: And then she goes somewhere else, spends thousands and thousands
- 3:01Speaker 3: of dollars, and then rewalks past the store with all
- 3:03Speaker 3: the bags.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And says, big mistake, huge.
- 3:05Speaker 3: So Kelly claims something very similar happened to her at
- 3:08Speaker 3: a toy shop.
- 3:09Speaker 1: She tweeted this.
- 3:09Speaker 3: She said, just drove all the way to Brooklyn to
- 3:12Speaker 3: check out this store I thought looked really rad. and
- 3:14Speaker 3: had a few things in mind to buy and literally
- 3:16Speaker 3: was looked at as if I could not afford it
- 3:19Speaker 3: and was told he couldn't find something comparable for me. Whoa, dude,
- 3:22Speaker 3: you're an idiot and just lost a huge sale. But
- 3:25Speaker 3: y'all should check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if
- 3:27Speaker 3: you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts' character in Pretty Woman.
- 3:30Speaker 3: For sure, check it out with a thumbs down.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Did they not know who she was? Because she's worth
- 3:34Speaker 2: a lot of money.
- 3:35Speaker 1: She's worth 50 million US dollars.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Because not only has she had a hugely successful music career,
- 3:39Speaker 3: she had the Kelly Clarkson talk show for the past
- 3:42Speaker 3: however many years. So, yeah, worth a shitload of money.
- 3:45Speaker 3: And I would argue they didn't realise who she was
- 3:47Speaker 3: because otherwise they wouldn't make her feel like that. But
- 3:50Speaker 3: have you ever been somewhere, you know, where you feel like, oh,
- 3:53Speaker 3: this place is too fancy for me?
- 3:54Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Maybe it's an Australian thing because we're more sort of
- 3:57Speaker 2: egalitarian or whatever.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Oh, that was a good word.
- 3:59Speaker 2: It's a good word, isn't it? Egalitarian. I like that.
- 4:02Speaker 2: But no, like even I had, I paid for bloody
- 4:06Speaker 2: valet parking at the Crown Casino not long ago.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Ridiculous. Didn't need to, but I was being lazy. And
- 4:13Speaker 2: even there I was treated like I belonged. You know
- 4:15Speaker 2: what I mean?
- 4:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're driving a Mercedes.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yes, I do belong.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Why am I not paying for valet at all times?
- 4:21Speaker 3: Have you ever paid just at like US Field?
- 4:23Speaker 2: I do sometimes. Oh, do you?
- 4:24Speaker 3: Well, at Christmas time when you can't find a spot
- 4:27Speaker 3: and you're just driving around, valet.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Is only like 15 bucks or something.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 4:32Speaker 3: I would much rather, maybe they bump it up now,
- 4:34Speaker 3: probably cost something, it's gone up, but.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Let's argue it's 30.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Would you not rather $ 30 than doing laps of the
- 4:40Speaker 3: car park?
- 4:40Speaker 2: No, totally. But I just don't like the idea of
- 4:42Speaker 2: someone driving my car. It's really common in LA and stuff.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Valets everywhere. Yeah. But I'm like handing the guy my keys.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I always think when someone drives my car that's
- 4:51Speaker 3: not me, they're immediately just going to T-bone someone.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Yeah, they're going to. And they're going to steal change
- 4:54Speaker 2: out of the ashtray.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I always take my coins. Why would they steal my coins?
