  am making wagers. Time to put my money where my

  mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for

  October 26th, 2025 and well, got to win yesterday.

  That was nice. Little bit of a sweat early on,

  but as I was expecting, as I was hoping, BYU took over late, shut

  him down in the fourth quarter, put up some points, took it to

  the bank, covered and won out, right.

  So sprinkle worked, points worked, everything worked out

  for us. So that's positive.

  All right. So it's good to be back on the

  winning side of things. See if we can keep that momentum

  going, looking at some NFL football, of course, today
• 0:52
  because you know, it's Sunday in the fall, which reminds me, I
• 0:55
  gotta get this done, go out, get some leaves raked before the
• 0:59
  1:00 starts. I think there's a 9:00 AM game.

  But you know, I mean, anybody really watched that?

  So anyways, I'm looking down South at this Texans 49ers
• 1:09
  matchup. If there was ever any evidence

  that wins are not a quarterback stat, it's what the 49ers have
• 1:15
  been doing, right? Because it ain't that bag of
• 1:17
  milk Mac Jones that's been keeping them afloat since Brock
• 1:20
  Purdy's been out. Yet they're still getting the
• 1:22
  wins. And I'm looking at this, I'm
• 1:24
  seeing the line. They have the Texans favored.

  I know the Texans are at home, but you just look at their
• 1:29
  recent body of work and this seems like a no brainer to me,

  even though it is Mac Jones sitting at QB and I know Bose is
• 1:36
  out. But still, I look at these two
• 1:37
  teams, I see what they've been doing and I say 49ers probably
• 1:42
  going to win this one and I'm getting points.

  I feel like I'm almost in the exact same spot I was yesterday
• 1:47
  with BYU, right? I'm going to get 2 1/2 points
• 1:49
  and I want to sprinkle the money line because that's how I think
• 1:53
  it's going to go. Now it is the NFL.

  So all of this could just be go the exact opposite way.

  Who knows? But that's what I'm feeling.

  That's my analysis, that's what I'm doing.

  So we're going San Francisco 49ers plus 2 1/2 against the

  doubt that the Houston, Houston Texans in today's NFL football

  They're trying to get to the top of the tip or stay at the top of

  the table. We got a better game though.

  Later on we got Everton hosting the Spurs, we got 2 new managers

  at the helm there, We got David Moyes going back to Everton for

  like the seventh time or something like that.

  He's got the Everton Evertonians playing better and we got Thomas

  Frank new at the helmet. The Spurs after Angepost Chicago

  took them to the European Cup title last year.

  We're going to get a draw today in these two squads.

  Everton's playing at home, they're going to play pretty
• 3:23
  good and the Spurs are going to try to get their best foot
• 3:26
  forward. But it's going to be a draw.

  Are the team's going to not like it?

  It's going to be one point for each.

  It's called so many. It's Week 8 and we're back in

  the win column looking to build some momentum here back-to-back

  you the pick. But first, let's talk about Week

  8. Man, there's a lot of injuries.
• 3:52
  Let's just start with the slate of games here and go through
• 3:55
  these. Miami going into Atlanta got
• 3:58
  Kirk Cousins playing Drake. London might be out.

  Chicago, Baltimore, you know they're not Even so Mars out.

  I'm not even touching that. Caroline don't have Bryce Young
• 4:11
  playing against Buffalo. I I don't want to touch that.

  Cincinnati's on the backup quarterback.

  Purdy's out going to Houston. You look at even even Tampa Bay,

  who's going into New Orleans, they're without like half their
• 4:26
  offense or without Evans, Godwin, Bucky, just injuries all
• 4:32
  over the place and just a lot of stay away game for Cousin Vinny.
• 4:36
  But one game that I have kind of circled.

  I think it's going to be both a good game to watch and a good
• 4:40
  opportunity for some value here is that Dallas, Denver match up
• 4:45
  and Mile High Stadium. And what we're looking at here
• 4:48
  is probably going to be a shootout and also interesting
• 4:50
  kicking games. The first time that the Cowboys
• 4:53
  kicker Brandon Aubrey is going to be kicking in high altitude.
• 4:56
  So Cousin Vinny was scouring the books but could not find any
• 4:59
  prop bets on distances on overs for for Aubrey.

  So if you see anything come up on pop up on that, I'd sprinkle
• 5:06
  a little bit on it for fun. But for my official lock of the
• 5:09
  week, we're going to take the Cowboys.

  A couple things here. Denver's been off to a slow
• 5:16
  start and had a couple heart attack finishes, a couple big
• 5:18
  comeback, including what is a record comeback against the the
• 5:22
  Giants. Congratulations.
• 5:23
  But still, it was against the Giants and you know a comeback
• 5:28
  that Cousin Vinny does not want to remember that against the
• 5:31
  Eagles. Well, let me just say something.
• 5:33
  I think Denver's a decent team and I think Bo Nicks has a cool
• 5:36
  sounding name, but I don't think they're a true Super Bowl
• 5:39
  contender. And I do think they skated out
• 5:41
  both those games kind of lucky and they're probably not as good
• 5:43
  as their five and two record suggests.
• 5:46
  Meanwhile, the Cowboys, as much as I hate to say it, Cowboys can
• 5:50
  really score points. The one thing that I'm banking
• 5:52
  on by picking the Cowboys, getting 3 1/2 points in this
• 5:55
  game, the Cowboys, like the Eagles, like the Giants, can get
• 6:00
  out and get a big lead on Denver early in the game.
• 6:05
  And that's been a trend for Denver.
• 6:06
  It's just playing terrible for 3/4 or for at least half the
• 6:09
  game and then turning it on enough with enough time to
• 6:12
  salvage a win. And so I think you can only get
• 6:15
  away so many weeks in a row and so many games doing that, and
• 6:18
  eventually it's going to burn you.
• 6:23
  And why I think the Cowboys are going to win this game outright,
• 6:26
  which if you're a money line guy, it's sitting at plus 154 or
• 6:30
  something around there. I think there's a lot of value
• 6:33
  in that 3 1/2 points. And I always love getting that
• 6:36
  extra half point over 3 because even if Denver is able to claw
• 6:42
  back or the game script doesn't go as planned, I love having
• 6:45
  that half point. And I do think the Cowboys can
• 6:47
  move the ball even if they were to be behind and at least keep
• 6:50
  it close within a field goal. So we're going to officially
• 6:54
  lock in the Cowboys getting 3 1/2 points going in a Mile High
• 6:59
  Stadium and having some success there for the first time in a
• 7:01
  very long time. And for fun, if you can find
• 7:04
  your local book, we'll take any action on Brandon Aubrey.

  I'd also pound that. So Week 8, lock of the week,

  Cowboys plus 3 1/2 points. Take it to the bank, lock it up.
