- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Possibly thunderstorms later today.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: This is the one day this week that it could possibly happen and they could be a little bit strong.
- 0:07SPEAKER_02: And are we just at like 73?
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: Uh yeah, it well today we'll go into the 80s.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: Uh tomorrow is it tomorrow that's 73?
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: 75.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's like a front going through.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: 75, 77.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: Then by Friday we're back to 82.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: So an 85 on Saturday.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be really, really uh just great after today.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, and and no guarantee today's gonna wash you out.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: Okay, back to the miracle whip thing.
- 0:28SPEAKER_02: This is what 3386 says.
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: Basically, a few weeks past its expiration date, but unopened.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: I said, absolutely not.
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: I'm really concerned about what 4441 puts in their mouth.
- 0:40SPEAKER_02: Still okay to use if it's not watery or green.
- 0:43SPEAKER_02: No, no, there's a smell that comes before watery and green.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: There's a turning point before watery and green.
- 0:51SPEAKER_02: I'm really concerned for you.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: There's a big turning point before watery and green.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: This is exactly why, not to get on you, but this is exactly why we don't eat listener food.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: Because your standards are not necessarily, uh, shall we say, FDA approved.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: How about that?
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: That's a great way to put it.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: Now I come back over to Mike.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: He says, eat the miracle whip.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: It'll get rid of someone who thinks miracle whip is food.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: There's there's a common thread here against miracle whip.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: So 3386, prepare for the hate.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: I just want to say that.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: I also like the who the hell buys miracle whip.
- 1:24SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm getting at.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Sorry, I'm not a miracle whip person either.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: I want I want mayonnaise.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: Uh let's see.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, this is a great one from Kathy.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: It said, uh, haven't you ever watched American Housewives?
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: It's in the buffer zone.
- 1:38SPEAKER_02: The buffer zone.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: No, it's not a buffer zone I'm messing with.
- 1:41SPEAKER_02: Oh, God.
- 1:42SPEAKER_02: Like, I'll mess with like certain things in the buffer zone.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: Like it might even be a burger that you got at a restaurant and it's still like, I don't know, five days in the fridge.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's well past the the the buffer zone.
- 1:57SPEAKER_02: 48 hours.
- 1:58SPEAKER_02: Oh no, no, no.
- 1:59SPEAKER_02: Oh no, no.
- 1:59SPEAKER_02: There's the buffer zone.
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: Day five, um, you know, you said the words best yourself moments ago.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: What?
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: I question your eating habits, like when you were saying why we don't eat listeners' foods.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: Now, listen, I am so sorry.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Yesterday we were gonna talk to you.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: We didn't get a chance to.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: As they say on the big program, you got bumped, but you said you'd come back early.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: Explain to Allie what you are going through and why you're feeling the way you are.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Hey, so I want to get your thoughts on this.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: So I've been chatting with this guy for a little bit, and he asked me out on a first date, and he said he wanted to do what he called an urban picnic.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: So I thought, okay, that's actually kind of different.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: But then he picked a park that's like 45 minutes from my house and only like two minutes from his.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: So I suggested a couple places that were more halfway, and then he comes back with another spot that's basically still in his neighborhood.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Like it was a little closer, but not by much.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: And so then he tells me, he'll bring the alcohol if I bring the food.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: And I don't even really know why that bothered me so much, but it did.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Um, it's not about the money, because I don't mind paying for things, but to make me bring food to our own date just seems completely lame.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: I mean, we could go walk around a free museum or grab coffee, like I really don't care if we spend money or not.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: And yeah, he's bringing alcohol, but I don't even drink, and I definitely wouldn't on a first date.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Not that he knows that, but the main issue is I'm 40 years old, I have two kids, my free time's pretty limited, and I guess I just appreciate when somebody's thoughtful about that, and it just feels like he's asking me to do all this driving and bring half the date with me.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: So now I don't even want to go anymore.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Like maybe I'm reading too much into it because yeah, it's only a first date, but it's like first impressions matter, and this one just feels kind of low effort to me, you know.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I just wanted to see what the ladies think about driving like 40 something minutes and bringing food.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Like, should I just go and see what happens, or should I just cancel the whole thing?
- 4:09SPEAKER_02: I've got a perfect answer for this.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: Cancel it.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: Oh, because I was gonna say 45 minutes in this area, not the most uncommon thing.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: We we live in a spread out air or area.
- 4:20SPEAKER_02: Oh no, you're gonna cancel it because two things.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: I assume that there's been some conversation beforehand, which means he's really not that interested to make any efforts towards you.
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: Also, it was two different locations close to his house.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: Oh, I thought he was trying to get you back to his house after.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: Oh no, I was thinking he was just a lazy ass.
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: And so he d he's not gonna take a lot of effort.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: Even on the first date, he can't m meet you halfway.
- 4:47SPEAKER_02: Cancel the whole thing.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 4:48SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 4:49SPEAKER_02: I don't waste your time.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: Let's let's So you you're not so much on the drive part, are you?
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Because this is like saying I'm gonna drive from Corning to Hornell.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: It's it's not necessarily the drive, it's that both times were places that were close to his house, it's what's convenient for him.
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: Also makes him selfish.
- 5:08SPEAKER_02: So now I got some of the things.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: Makes me think he's gonna try to get her, slip her a couple of drinks and be like, well, come back to my place.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: You know, you're 40 and have two kids.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: I'm sure the options aren't knocking real hard at the at the old front door.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: So selfish, lazy, and also horny?
- 5:23SPEAKER_02: Okay, yes.
- 5:24SPEAKER_02: That too.
- 5:24SPEAKER_02: That too.
- 5:25SPEAKER_02: But because of those reasons, I say cancel.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: Okay, you go cancel.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: Anybody want to add to this?
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: Because uh the only the only thing that uh I could see where he could uh maybe I'm reading too far in and giving him credit.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: I could see where he suggests she brings the food because perhaps there's certain things that she can eat that he might not, you know.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: I don't know, right?
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: He goes gets a bucket of fried chicken and she's just had her gallbladder out and she's vegan.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: That's better.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: The gallbladder, but you know, fatty foods.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: So I don't know.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, I could have seen that.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: And and to me, 45 minutes is like I'm not gonna lie to you, that is not uncommon.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: That's driving from Corning to the to Sarah.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: It's not, but she just said she has some kids.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: So you're right.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: What kind of time does she have probably not probably not a ton?
- 6:08SPEAKER_02: So now that's a third reason.
- 6:10SPEAKER_02: Cancel it.
- 6:10SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 6:11SPEAKER_02: That was easy.
