A woman who lost her partner of 16 years to cancer last year is questioning if it’s too soon to start dating again. Their child was born just three weeks before the diagnosis and had barely reached ten months old when his father passed away; the boy is now two years old. The mother has grown fond of a coworker, also raising a child alone and recovering from cancer, but admits he can be unreliable, and she struggles with finding time as a single parent.
