Latest / The Immutable Word / EP042 Angelology Part 2: What Dwells Beyond - Angels, Giants, and the Seven Classes of Life
Transcript
- 0:00When people look at creation today, right, we look at human beings,
- 0:03we look at the animals, we look at, and even things that we may not understand,
- 0:08like people believe in ghosts, people believe in demons, people believe in alien life, cryptozoology,
- 0:14like Dogman and Bigfoot and stuff like that, right?
- 0:17People look at that and go, well, God must have created all of this.
- 0:21And what Brother Martis does is he makes a distinction and says,
- 0:24hey, this is not the original creation.
- 0:28Welcome back to The Mutable Word. Today we have a special guest with us in the studio, and that's Dr.
- 0:36Robert. He's the special guest every time we have a podcast, so welcome.
- 0:40We're back in the garage for another episode and pretty excited.
- 0:44Number one, this is the last episode for the year that we're recording.
- 0:49So I think this is, we had 40, so we're 41.
- 0:53So we're ending the year with number 41.
- 0:57And we're going to be moving into the new year with a lot more things already planned to cover.
- 1:03But we're going to, we had covered, I think about two episodes back,
- 1:08angels, and we just covered a pretty high level basic introductions of what
- 1:13angels are and what were their primary duties.
- 1:17A lot of people thought they were messengers, but they were actually there to
- 1:20execute judgment for the most part.
- 1:23And there's distinctions between angels. You know, you have the watchers,
- 1:27you have cherubims aren't angels.
- 1:29So we're going to make sure to make that important distinction today.
- 1:32But you have different types of angels Or at least different types of jobs that
- 1:36angels had But one of them is executing judgment primarily If you look through scripture,
- 1:42it supports that So in this episode, we're going to be talking a little bit
- 1:47more about angels But actually expanding out into more or less different life
- 1:52forms And I think it's important to start here to lay the groundwork As we begin
- 1:57to expand on the topic It's going to be...
- 2:00It's going to be critical because it'll allow us to understand where we go off from there.
- 2:05If we're talking about extraterrestrial-type life, which we'll get into,
- 2:10if it's not in this episode, it'll probably be in later episodes,
- 2:14it will make a lot more sense understanding the different classifications of life.
- 2:19And so there's going to be six that we're going to be covering.
- 2:23And this is based off of Martis' book, Jeffrey Martis' book,
- 2:27What Dwells Beyond, which is a really comprehensive study.
- 2:31On this stuff. And so we're going to be looking at just a small part of it and,
- 2:35again, just trying to lay the groundwork.
- 2:38So there's going to be six classifications of life, life forms, rather.
- 2:42And there's a passage in here, and I thought you mentioned this,
- 2:45that really stuck out was those who refuse to make distinctions where the Bible
- 2:49makes distinctions run the risk of error.
- 2:52And also later on it says, when it comes to explaining this stuff,
- 2:57it just really is a great starting point for discerning the different things
- 3:01we're going to talk about, which gets pretty strange, but it's in the Bible.
- 3:04I mean, we either believe it or we don't.
- 3:06So, do you want to maybe bring us further into where we might start with the
- 3:13classifications of life or life forms?
- 3:16Yeah, so, I mean, the reason why we're bringing up this book is because,
- 3:20one, it's a resource for our listeners.
- 3:23Anybody that wants to do more of a deep dive, maybe they want to study into
- 3:27it with a little bit more depth and clarity, I would recommend the book.
- 3:31Jeffrey Martis is a King James Bible-believing dispensational Baptist.
- 3:36He is of our belief, our like faith.
- 3:39I don't disagree with hardly anything in his book. He's got a lot of really good material in there.
- 3:46And it's probably the most comprehensive book that you're going to read.
- 3:49It's basically an encyclopedia of the spiritual warfare, the spiritual existence
- 3:56of creatures and things like that, that God has both created and didn't create.
- 4:01So we're going to talk a little bit about that. So the chapter,
- 4:04we talked a little bit about the angels, like you said, their roles,
- 4:09their ministries, their purpose, some of the things that we understand that
- 4:12they're a mere reflection of things.
- 4:15Like we started talking about, you know, the churches, you know,
- 4:18beholding the face of the angels of those children here on earth that we believe
- 4:21that the angels in that respect are representative, right, of things here on earth in God's eyes.
- 4:29It's almost as if they're God's, I don't know, digital screen.
- 4:34You know, he can see, not that he can't, the eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding all things.
- 4:39He can do that, but it just makes you wonder if this is, you know,
- 4:43a mode that he uses. He chooses to use these angels for that reason.
- 4:47You see the angels, the sons of God, which they're referred to.
- 4:52In the book of Job especially, but you see them in Job 1 and Job 2.
- 4:56That Satan is, he obviously still has access to the throne.
- 5:00So his fall from heaven, so to speak, is actually yet future.
- 5:05So there's actually a misnomer about that. Some people think,
- 5:08oh, he's been, you know, cast out of heaven.
- 5:11He has no access to the third heaven. He does. You just read Job 1 and 2.
- 5:15He can come directly before the throne of God and obviously challenge God, which is what he did.
- 5:20But he came in with the sons of God, which means those sons of God are constantly traversing,
- 5:27they're constantly going back and forth, and they are executing whatever commands
- 5:33or duties or responsibilities God is giving them.
- 5:36And I believe, you know, believe that one of them is representation of earthly things in heaven.
- 5:43So anyway, today what we're going to do is going to be covering,
- 5:46and kind of highlighting and kind of skimming through chapter 11 of Jeffrey
- 5:51Martis's book, What Dwells Beyond.
- 5:53Again, I highly recommend it. If you are interested, and I'm not talking,
- 5:58because this is one of those topics that it's real fringe, right?
- 6:02I mean, most Christianity, they're not thinking about alien life.
- 6:06They're not thinking about stars and constellation and interstellar travel and
- 6:12interdimensional travel.
- 6:13Nobody's thinking about that as a Christian, typically, you know,
- 6:16to them, those are the, the, you know, the weird, you know, Trekkie convention guys, right?
- 6:22Those are the guys that, that go to alien conventions, you know what I mean?
- 6:26They're part of MUFON and all these other, and they're looking for lights in the sky.
- 6:31Here's, here's what I want to say about that though, because I think it is important that.
- 6:35As we kind of dive into this, because I think some of our listeners who typically
- 6:40get a lot out of our, the pragmatism, right?
- 6:43Some of the practical things that we've talked about, you know,
- 6:46about communication and leadership and whatnot, all those things are valid.
- 6:50But guess what? There is a spiritual world out there.
- 6:53Paul talks about it, spiritual wickedness in high places.
- 6:57He says that our actual viable enemies are spiritual enemies,
- 7:03not physical enemies. Okay.
- 7:06And so it's important to understand that when Peter denied that Christ was going
- 7:11to go to the cross in Matthew 16, what did Jesus Christ do?
- 7:16He turned around and talked to, he's talking to Peter, but he says,
- 7:20get thee behind me, Satan.
- 7:22He says, for thou savest not the things of God.
- 7:25So he's addressing Peter physically, but there was obviously a spirit behind
- 7:30the words that Peter was speaking. It's a spirit of doubt.
- 7:35He was casting doubt on what Jesus Christ was saying about going to the cross.
- 7:41So that's important to understand that.
- 7:45That's why we say, look, there is a spiritual world out there,
- 7:48and if we don't address it from a Bible-believing point of view,
- 7:53then the problem is that our brothers and sisters in Christ are they're going
- 7:57to run to the internet, they're going to run to secular knowledge.
- 8:01Worse yet, they'll run into mysticism and New Ageism, and they'll get false
- 8:06information about the spirit world where these things are captured within the
- 8:11text of the King James Bible, right?
- 8:14So, we said it before in the previous episode about angels, but...
- 8:19The church today has a truncated view of the spiritual.
- 8:23They don't look at the spirit world. They don't look at the interdimensional
- 8:28travel of these creatures, you know, to earth and so forth and so on.
- 8:33They don't look at that as anything supernatural. They just,
- 8:36they look at it as, oh, you know, that's a nice little story in the Bible.
- 8:40You know what I mean? And so, and we'll paint little angels on our,
- 8:43whatever, on our little storybooks and coloring books, But they don't consider
- 8:48that, hey, this is a real, viable enemy that exists in a spirit world.
- 8:55And there is a spirit world because, you know, the first illustration we used
- 8:58was in Kings, right, where Elisha was with his servant and his servant was,
- 9:04you know, kind of freaking out like, hey, we're surrounded. And he goes,
- 9:07no, no, no, no. He goes, we're not surrounded. They're surrounded.
- 9:10And he, and he, he prays the Lord, open up the eyes of his servant and boom,
- 9:13there's this huge mountain range of chariots of fire surrounding them.
- 9:19So anyway, that's why we want to make sure that we're careful about this.
- 9:25And this is the reason why I can wholeheartedly recommend this book,
- 9:30because Jeffrey Martis is a saved—he has a testimony where I think he got saved
- 9:36in 1973, bought with the blood of Jesus Christ.
- 9:40You know, he's a local member of a church. He's actively involved in ministry.
- 9:45He's obviously a Bible student. He believes every word of the King James Bible.
- 9:50That's when we recommend somebody, when we say, hey, I can endorse this guy.
- 9:56Those are the credentials that we're talking about. So that's why we want to
- 10:00use his book because, you know, the old adage is, you know, don't fix what's,
- 10:05you know, what's not broken. Right.
- 10:07He already did the research. He put the outline together. He organized the information.
- 10:13And this is probably, what is this book? It's about 500 pages.
- 10:18It's over 500 pages. Okay. So this is not an overnight read.
- 10:23I've been listening to the audio of it and I've been reading the book physically
- 10:27for a little over two weeks now.
- 10:30And sometimes that's an hour, an hour and a half at a sitting.
- 10:35And usually I can read pretty quick and I can fly through a book pretty quickly,
- 10:38but there's so much material he covers and he does such a great job of organizing it.
- 10:44And so that's why I wanted to say today, what we want to do is let's go through
- 10:48chapter 11 and chapter 11 of his book, it's entitled The Illustrated Field Guide to Life Forms.
- 10:56And the reason why this chapter is so important is he basically explains that
- 11:03the information presented, and this is what he says, the information presented
- 11:06in this chapter represents the core purpose of this book.
- 11:11It's written specifically as a reference for Bible believing Christians and
- 11:15is a breakdown and an analysis showing the kinds of life forms outlined by scripture.
- 11:21It is the Bible's field guide to life forms and constitutes the primary starting
- 11:27point for discerning the extraterrestrial phenomenon.
- 11:31So this particular chapter, chapter 11, is literally the primary premise.
- 11:36Yeah, that's what I like about it because I admit I haven't read through the book.
- 11:40Well, first of all, let me rewind a little bit. What I appreciate about Jeffrey Martis is...
- 11:46Like you were saying, we don't have to do a lot of filtering through the book
- 11:51and try to extract some truths.
- 11:53He's, he's, you know, he's a Bible. We're talking about, you know,
- 11:56we talked about Thomas Horn and some of these other guys and Steve Quayle and
- 12:00those guys look theologically, those guys deny pre-tribulation,
- 12:05rapture, pre-millennialism.
- 12:07Jeffrey Martins doesn't, and he doesn't try to correct the King James Bible.
- 12:11And that's what I was, what I was getting at is what I appreciate.
- 12:14He's, he's a Bible literalist. He's like, look, We may not understand it.
- 12:17We might think it's really weird to fringe, but that's just what it says.
- 12:21And so he puts the lens of scripture on everything that he's been doing.
- 12:24His research is not just breath, it's a lot of depth, like you were saying.
- 12:28It is a thick book, and I haven't read the whole book, just full disclosure.
- 12:33I'm also listening and reading.
- 12:35I did read chapters 11 and 12, so if you want a quick...
- 12:41Overview, it was perfect. And now I can go through the rest of the book,
- 12:44having that basic groundwork.
- 12:47And I think that's why it's great that we're starting in chapter 11,
- 12:49because it does just... Yeah.
- 12:51As we go through, we'll reference the other chapters, because they'll play a part when we get closer.
- 12:57Because ultimately, what we want to do is, first, we're talking about.
- 13:03Angelology. Wow, I've said that seven times. Anyway, angelology.
- 13:08So, we're talking about the study of angels.
- 13:11But in order to do that, we obviously are going to be touching on what is popularly
- 13:16understood as alien culture, right?
- 13:19Alien life, extraterrestrial life, the alien phenomenon, right?
- 13:23All that stuff. It plays a part in it.
- 13:25But the best way to approach it is biblically.
- 13:29Lay the biblical foundation. So he's done that. And it's not,
- 13:33I'm going to say this, It's not a it's not a hard to understand book.
- 13:38It's a very comprehensive book because he covers a wide range of topics that
- 13:44all relate to each other.
- 13:46But they they're supplemental and they help bring a lot of context to this type of discussion.
- 13:52Yep. So. Yeah, agreed. I'm excited to get into it.
- 13:56So this particular chapter, what he does is he kind of introduces this concept
- 14:01like, hey, when people look at creation today,
- 14:04right, we look at human beings, we look at the animals, we look at,
- 14:08and even things that we may not understand, like people believe in ghosts,
- 14:12people believe in demons, people believe in alien life, cryptozoology,
- 14:17like Dogman and Bigfoot and stuff like that, right?
- 14:19People look at that and go, well, God must have created all of this.
- 14:23And what Brother Martus does is he makes a distinction and says,
- 14:26hey, this is not the original creation. This is not what God started out with.
- 14:32When God created all his kinds, like in Genesis 1, there's different kinds.
- 14:39Well, that word kind, it's, let's put it this way.
- 14:44You know, zoology and classification was actually invented in the 1800s.
- 14:50So when we say species, you don't see species in the Bible. You see kind.
- 14:56And when God says he created man after his own kind, he created animals after
- 15:02their kind, fowls after their own kind.
- 15:06Now, kind is the reproductive limit of a created life form.
- 15:13Okay. Boundary, so to speak. Right. So, for example, if you have a dog kind
- 15:17and if you have a bird kind, you cannot crossbreed between those two life forms.
- 15:23That's a reproductive limit, okay?
- 15:26But that's the boundaries that God put in place at creation.
- 15:31That's important because that's what he's trying to distinguish at the beginning of the chapter.
- 15:35There's this error, there's this fallacy, this error in reasoning that people
- 15:39assume that everything we see today is exactly what God created day one of creation.
- 15:44That is not true. There's been some problems. Matter of fact,
- 15:48the two examples he brings up is man. Man's fallen.
- 15:52We're not in a perfect state like Adam and Eve were. So man is not like we were created in the garden.
- 16:00We don't hold the image of God anymore. And so, and guess who else has fallen? Satan.
- 16:06Satan is not his original kind as he was created.
- 16:10He's obviously in a fallen state. So, and that's why it's important for people
- 16:14to understand that, you know, there's been a deviation from God's created,
- 16:18you know, strategy, his creation strategy.
- 16:21So as we kind of approach this, then he wants to make sure that people understand
- 16:26that things are different. Then he goes into what he calls the pattern of life,
- 16:31and of course, he highlights the fact that God is a tripartite being. He's a trinity.
- 16:37He's God. That's what he is, but he's three persons, which is the Father,
- 16:43the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- 16:45That's what the trinity is. We don't believe that there are three gods.
- 16:49That's not what we teach. We believe that he's one God, but he's three persons.
- 16:54And we don't believe that he's a singular person, but three different gods.
- 17:01People have to understand there's a distinction between that.
- 17:04So not to get too far into the Trinity, but God created man after his own image.
- 17:10And it's true, the image that was lost after Adam's image, now everybody that's
- 17:16created today, everybody that's born today, human beings, are born after the
- 17:21image of Adam, according to Genesis chapter 5.
- 17:23Well, we don't regain the image of God until we receive Christ in the church age.
- 17:30So he is the express image of
- 17:32God, according to Hebrews 1 and so forth and so on. So here's the thing.
- 17:37He basically lays out this pattern of life showing that man is a tripartite
- 17:41being. So he says we're a body, a soul, and a spirit.
- 17:45So he talks about the spirit is the life spirit.
- 17:50Of a human being. That's where you have the lifeblood or the life powerhouse,
- 17:56whatever it is of the physical body, because when God created Adam,
- 18:01he said he breathed into him the breath of life, and then he became a living soul.
- 18:07So the spirit, the Bible lists four different types of spirits in the Bible,
- 18:11because in John 4, matter of fact, it says God is a spirit, which makes the
- 18:18distinction that there's more than one type of spirit, right?
- 18:21So, you have the Spirit of God, that's God, that's the Holy Spirit,
- 18:25the Holy Ghost, 1 John 5, 7.
- 18:27You have the Spirit of man, Ecclesiastes 3, 21.
- 18:30You have the Spirit of beasts, Ecclesiastes also 3, 21.
- 18:35And then you have the Spirit of devils, like in Matthew 10, 1 and so forth. You have other places.
- 18:40So, these spirits, the spirits of men, they return to God at death.
- 18:44That's what Ecclesiastes 3 says.
- 18:47The beasts, their spirit returned to the earth, okay?
- 18:51So there's a different direction in the human spirit and the beast spirit.
- 18:55Now, we talked about it before when we talked about revelatory epistemology,
- 18:59that a man understands another man because they have the same spirit.
- 19:03An animal understands animals because they have the same spirit, spirit of a beast.
- 19:08That's why animals can communicate in ways that you and I can't.
- 19:12And we can obviously communicate in ways that animals can't. There's a distinction.
- 19:16Now that's, I want to step back and say something about that though,
- 19:19because our biggest antagonist in this world, the worldview is the atheist evolutionist.
- 19:29They deny that man has a spirit or a soul.
- 19:33They deny those things because they're materialists. They only believe in the
- 19:37material, what is physical.
- 19:39So when we say spirit and soul, they think of it as some kind of a chemical
- 19:44composition in the body.
- 19:45But we believe it's an actual entity. The Bible says that when Rachel was dying,
- 19:51whenever she was having Benjamin, the Bible says her soul was departing from
- 19:56her, was leaving the body.
- 19:59Well, what does Paul tell us? He says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
- 20:04So he says at one point in 2 Corinthians 12, right, he says he got caught up
- 20:09into the third heaven, whether in the body or out of the body, he couldn't tell.
- 20:14But the Bible tells us that the soul leaves the body.
- 20:18The spirit of life returns unto the God who gave it.
- 20:23Who we are is the soul. So the spirit, again, is the spirit of life,
- 20:27but there's four types in the Bible.
- 20:29So the spirit, according to Brother Martus, he says, is the key component of all life.
- 20:35It's what makes a living thing alive.
- 20:38So it's the difference. It is the difference maker in conjunction with the blood
- 20:43between dead matter and living beings.
- 20:45The spirit is not scientifically testable, therefore not recognized by biological science.
- 20:51It is the stumbling block for all modern life sciences.
- 20:54So it's important to understand that, you know, we are, we're a physical body, but we possess a spirit.
- 20:59Okay. We're a soul, but we possess a body.
- 21:03That's another distinction to me. So the soul, you know, the Greek word is,
- 21:07is psuche, psuche, and that's the seat of the intellect and the emotion.
- 21:12That's actually who we are. So when you and I are talking Sorry dumb question
- 21:16Go ahead Psyche Same thing Yeah that's what That's psuche Is the Greek word for it It's psyche Okay.
- 21:23So psychological, psychiatrist, psychological, say, think of this,
- 21:28psychological, you know what psychology is?
- 21:30The study of the soul that scientists deny.
- 21:33So most of your psychologists deny that man has a soul. Isn't that interesting?
- 21:38So even though it's the study of. Yeah.
- 21:41It's called self-defeating. Anyway, so it's connected with the seed of the intellect and emotions.
- 21:46It's essentially what the Bible refers to as the heart. Okay.
- 21:50With the heart man believeth unto righteousness and so forth.
- 21:54As a man thinketh in his heart.
- 21:57So that's your soul. That's who you are. That's actually, when you and I are
- 22:01talking to each other, we're talking to our souls.
- 22:04We're looking out through our bodies at each other. Right.
- 22:07And that's what makes us uniquely us. Right. But yeah, who you are as Alan and
- 22:13who I am as Robert, that's my soul.
- 22:15And that's the destiny of the soul, according to the Bible, is heaven or hell.
- 22:20That's important for people to understand that your body goes back to the ground.
- 22:25Your spirit returns unto the God who gave it, Ecclesiastes 3.21.
- 22:28But your soul, depending on what you've done with Jesus Christ,
- 22:33will either go to heaven or hell. Okay?
- 22:36So for a note for a little bit later, so he mentions a little bit earlier that
- 22:41if an organism has no spirit, it's not typically alive.
- 22:46So I think where the soul comes into connection is where it might answer some
- 22:51questions about being redeemed in some of the future.
- 22:55Maybe it's the future chapter. I can't remember if it's this chapter,
- 22:57but just a future note. I'm just trying to make that.
- 23:00I'm going to go back again. We say that again. So I was talking about the spirit, right?
- 23:05So if he mentions earlier in here in the spirit, I know we're talking about
- 23:08the soul, so I'm not trying to confuse the two, but he talks about the spirit.
- 23:12If an organism has no spirit, it is technically not alive.
- 23:17And he's talking about the trees, plants, microorganisms, but there are living
- 23:23beings that have no soul.
- 23:24And we can say that maybe animals and things like that.
- 23:27And anything else beyond that has no soul. So there might be a question of who
- 23:32can be redeemed or not, right?
- 23:34Yeah, redemption, the basis of redemption determines the destiny of your soul.
- 23:40But you have to have a soul.
- 23:41Like, for example, angels don't have a soul. Yeah. So they can't be redeemed.
- 23:46Animals don't have a soul, so they can't be redeemed. They can't be redeemed,
- 23:48yeah. Is that what you're trying to allude to? Yeah, I was just trying to allude.
- 23:51That's what I was saying. I want to put it like a note here.
- 23:54You know, make an assertion now, so that way it makes a little bit more sense
- 23:56later when we cover it, but this is something that popped in.
- 23:59So, anyway, so the body, again, and then, of course, the soul is who you are.
- 24:03That's the distinct you as the individual, and that's the part of you that either
- 24:08goes to heaven or hell, depending on what you do with Jesus Christ.
- 24:11The body, obviously, is the physical manifestation of life. That's what we see.
- 24:16That's also where all of our lusts of the flesh reside.
- 24:20So, you know, we're talking about, you know, all the different things the Bible
- 24:23describes as the lust of the body, the lust of our flesh.
- 24:26For example, you know, wrath, emulations, variance, strife, seditions,
- 24:31heresies, all these things are listed in Galatians.
- 24:33You know, that's the lust of the flesh. That's what dwells inside the flesh.
- 24:37That's why Paul says in Romans 7, he says whenever he wants to do right,
- 24:42but he can't do right, he goes, I realize that there's sin that dwelleth in me that is in my flesh.
- 24:48That's where sin dwells. For the believer, sin does not affect the soul because
- 24:54of spiritual circumcision, according to Colossians chapter 2.
- 24:57So the one baptism that actually saves us is spiritual baptism.
- 25:01It's the cutting away of the soul from the body.
- 25:06A lost person does not have that circumcision.
- 25:11Their body and their soul are still connected. So everything they do with their
- 25:15body affects their soul.
- 25:17Their soul is going to go to hell because of the sins of their,
- 25:20because they've never been washed in the blood.
- 25:22The Bible says in Leviticus that it's the blood, and he talks about the blood,
- 25:26we won't go too much into it, but it's the blood that makes the atonement for the soul.
- 25:31Well, if the blood makes the atonement for the soul, then it's the blood of
- 25:34Jesus Christ that was shed upon the cross that atones for the soul,
- 25:39atones, the easy way to understand what atonement is, it makes at-one-ment.
- 25:44It makes you at one with God.
- 25:46So that blood makes us right with God. It makes an atonement for the soul.
- 25:51If you reject the blood of Christ, you have no atonement for your soul.
- 25:54You're lost. and therefore everything, your soul is just as dirty as the day
- 26:00that you started sinning.
- 26:02But for us, the believer, the flesh has no more control, has no more impact,
- 26:07no more influence on the body or on the soul. So the blood does,
- 26:11or the body does, I'm sorry.
- 26:12So anyway, so he kind of does a primer on making understand,
- 26:17hey, this is the pattern of life.
- 26:18The pattern of life exists in the body, the soul, and spirit.
- 26:21The blood plays a vital role in that because the Bible says the life of the
- 26:26flesh is in the blood, just like the life of the soul is in the spirit.
- 26:31See that? The spirit gives life to the soul.
- 26:34The blood gives life to the body. That's the parallel between the two.
- 26:40So those are two life-giving types is the blood and spirit.
- 26:46Now, then once he starts making that, he says this quick overview about the
- 26:52life of the body, the soul, in the spirit, in the blood, it was necessary in
- 26:57order to lay a proper foundation for the study and meaning of life.
- 27:01And then he says, okay, now that we know what life consists of,
- 27:05then he goes into what he calls the seven classes of life.
- 27:09So he says at the beginning of the section here, each life form listed in the
- 27:15following section represents a separate and distinct class of life.
- 27:20So each class is known as strange flesh in relation to the other. That's important.
- 27:27Because when we start to understand what happened at the Genesis flood with
- 27:31the sons of God cohabitating with the daughters of men, the Bible says that
- 27:35these angels pursued strange flesh.
- 27:39Well, how is that strange to an angel? Well, it's because they're a distinct
- 27:44separate life form than human beings.
- 27:47Okay. So, and this is what he says, any cross-mixing of the groups produces
- 27:53a counterfeit form of life.
- 27:56That's another important distinction.
- 27:58Any cross-mixing of the groups of these seven classes of life,
- 28:03any cross-mixing produces a counterfeit form of life.
- 28:08That variance, that means it's against the will of God with the Creator's original
- 28:13guidelines as found in the first chapter of Genesis.
- 28:17So these kinds that are created, guess what?
- 28:20He's going to reproduce after his own kind.
- 28:22Well, guess what? Angels can't reproduce because they're all men.
- 28:27The only way they can do that is to violate the created structure and organization
- 28:34that God's strategy that he laid out in Genesis 1.
- 28:37And that's what produces these hybrid monstrosities of giants in the book of Genesis.
- 28:44And there are these giants and what's produced.
- 28:50I'm not quite clear on it yet, so let me know if I'm getting ahead or we can skip forward.
- 28:54But this is a corruption, right?
- 28:57This is obviously in violation of God's system of creating, you know,
- 29:03after their own kind. Yeah.
- 29:05So, they would have a spirit.
- 29:08A body, but my question is a soul. Because they're- No, they don't have souls.
- 29:13Yeah, they wouldn't have a soul. A giant stone of souls.
- 29:14Okay. Yeah, the only thing that has a soul is a human being. Okay. That's it.
- 29:19That's probably the easiest way to clarify. There you go. Okay.
- 29:23So that's, well, according to the Bible.
- 29:25Yeah. Right? In Genesis chapter two, man became a living- Soul.
- 29:31Nothing else is, no other phrase like that exists in the Bible for any other
- 29:37kind other than human beings.
- 29:40Got it. So giants, animals, or any deviation thereof does not have a soul. Okay.
- 29:49Only the soul can be redeemed. And that's the offspring of angels and women.
- 29:54Well, he lists the passages here, right?
- 29:56He says this taboo boundary between life classes, that deviation,
- 30:00that variance of God's original strategy. Right.
- 30:03He goes, is seen in such scriptures as Genesis 6, 1 through 7.
- 30:07So there's the angels. There's the sons of God. Exodus 22, 19,
- 30:11Leviticus 18, Leviticus 20, verses 15-16, 1 Corinthians 11-9-10.
- 30:16All those passages show there's a
- 30:19deviation from God's intended plan for reproduction after one's own kind.
- 30:27So the counterfeit classification does not necessarily have to be the product
- 30:32of a physical procreative union, but a forced genetic mixing.
- 30:38That's important too. Okay. So he says it can be the byproduct of a forced genetic
- 30:44mixing between the groups and subgroups, such as those found in modern laboratories.
- 30:50That means it's not a natural union between a man and a woman or a female and
- 30:55a male, and they reproduce a child.
- 30:57He's saying they can also be hybrid genetic manipulations in a laboratory,
- 31:03that can also be that counterfeit classification.
- 31:07So when he says counterfeit, it's a counterfeit of life. You understand?
- 31:11We say that God is the creator of life.
- 31:15What has been the goal of evolution for the last 250 years is to try to say
- 31:21that life came about from some other means other than Genesis.
- 31:26See that? That God isn't the creator. That's the whole premise of evolution.
- 31:32It's important to understand that classification that is the counterfeit kind
- 31:37is literally violating what God intended with the created kinds.
- 31:43He created a natural reproductive strategy and organization and framework for man.
- 31:52We were supposed to reproduce after
- 31:54our own kind. Animals are supposed to reproduce after their own kind.
- 31:57Plants are supposed to reproduce after their own kind.
- 32:00See that? So again, instead of seeing man as a separate distinct from the animal,
- 32:06modern science erroneously classifies him as being part of a long,
- 32:10unbroken chain of evolved life and supposed missing links in between.
- 32:16So this hypothetical view immediately puts science at a disadvantage because
- 32:20it merges life groups that are not the same. That's why this classification is necessary.
- 32:25To understand what Brother Mardis is laying out here is, look, he goes,
- 32:29what modern science and hybridization and cloning and eventually what we're
- 32:36going to get into down the road with aliens and some of the things.
- 32:40The atrocities, you know, biologically that are committed there,
- 32:43and even the atrocities that were committed with the sons of God,
- 32:47Genesis 6, and then what eventually led to all the prohibitions in the law with
- 32:52bestiality and lying with other types of kinds. You cross those boundaries.
- 32:58It is a violation of what God originally intended. That's why Brother Martus is laying out.
- 33:03He says, look, There's six legitimate classifications of life forms.
- 33:07The seventh is not a legitimate one.
- 33:10That's actually violating what
- 33:11God originally intended. What did God originally intend? The first six.
- 33:16So what he does is he outlines them, and this is the parameters he sets.
- 33:20He basically sets for each one of these classifications six parameters.
- 33:25So number one is classification, which is the name of the group to which the life form belongs.
- 33:30Origins tells whether the life form is a creation of God or made by some other means.
- 33:35All legitimate forms, here's what he says. all legitimate life forms were originally
- 33:41direct creations of God, Genesis 1.
- 33:45So when we see man, man was a legitimate, direct creation of God.
- 33:51What you see in Genesis 6, they produce giants and men of renown.
- 33:57Those were not direct creations of God. Those are the counterfeits,
- 34:03So Now however legitimate life Can arise only in one of two ways One direct
- 34:10creation And number two after it's kind That's it,
- 34:14That's the only two ways a legitimate life form can arise, according to the
- 34:20Word of God. That's the only clue we get.
- 34:23So, a being that's a direct contradiction that has no parents,
- 34:27but is manifest by direct commandment, by the Word of God, for example,
- 34:30let there be angels or some other similar spoken directive,
- 34:35you know, examples of the Creator's ability to speak things in existence,
- 34:38all those things are after its kind, but they're also legitimate forms because
- 34:42God created them. So, that's the origin.
- 34:44So, the origin is really saying, look, is it a direct creation of God or is
- 34:48it not a direct creation of God? That's it.
- 34:50That's the boundary. That is a true dichotomy. Anything outside of that,
- 34:54manufactured or otherwise, is a violation of what God initially intended.
- 34:59So, you have classification, origins, and then you have residence.
- 35:02This is the location where the life form currently resides.
- 35:05Earth, hell, first heaven, second heaven, third heaven. Many life forms may
- 35:09dwell in multiple locations at once.
- 35:12And then, of course, their relation to God. It refers to a fallen or a just state before God.
- 35:17The fallen life forms, they were once in a just standing but are currently under
- 35:22the curse of sin or separated from God.
- 35:25Redeemable means yes, no, or any, not applicable.
- 35:29Whether the redeeming blood of the
- 35:31Lord Jesus Christ extends to cover the curse-sin nature of the life form.
- 35:35And then about describes a few unique characteristics. So those are the six
- 35:40parameters he sets for these six legitimate classifications and the one illegitimate
- 35:45classification. So the first one is creature.
- 35:49And of course, it's after its kind, right?
- 35:52So this is going to be flying or creeping things, the life in the waters,
- 35:59beast or creeping things, the beast like that cow or a horse or an elephant, right?
- 36:06Fowls, flying or fowl or creeping things like butterflies or locusts or grasshoppers.
- 36:13Those are all what he calls the creature classification.
- 36:18But they're after their own kind. They're separated by their own kind. Okay.
- 36:23So the word creature in a broad sense can refer to any living thing created
- 36:27by God. Hence the word relationship of creature and create, right?
- 36:31Sometimes the word sometimes refers to man, according to 2 Corinthians 5.17
- 36:36or Galatians 6.15, or sometimes they can refer to cherubim according to Ezekiel
- 36:421. but the most common and most used reference is to the animal.
- 36:45So animal, the word animal is not found in the Bible, but creature is.
- 36:49So they're after their own kind, their residence is on earth,
- 36:52basically. Their relation to God is they're in a fallen state.
- 36:56That's not going to be made right into the millennium. Are they redeemable?
- 37:00Yes and no. Yes, if we're talking about humans.
- 37:04No, if we're talking about anything else. So, and then of course you have life
- 37:08in the waters, you have fowl, you have beasts, you have creeping things and so forth and so on.
- 37:13Well, I think they're restored in a sense though, right?
- 37:16Then during the millennium, like, because they were changed, they have a fear of man.
- 37:21Right. They were violent. The Bible says there's violence in the earth.
- 37:24Yeah. The animals, you know, were afraid of men in the beginning,
- 37:28but they're not eventually.
- 37:29So redeemable in the sense that are they going to be made right as far as the state of nature? Yes.
- 37:37Soul redeemed? No. No. So that's why it's a yes and no. Well,
- 37:41and it's yes and no because remember, men are also called creatures.
- 37:46That makes sense. Yep. And then, all right, so then you have,
- 37:49and he lists here, he says the dragon is the ultimate animal.
- 37:51He has a little inset here. He says there's only one historical animal which
- 37:56falls into all animal subclasses, which is the dragon.
- 38:00It's classified among the cattle. So it falls in the beast class, Genesis 3.14.
- 38:06It's also classified as the serpent, which goeth upon the belly.
- 38:09So it fits into the creeping things class, Genesis 3.14 and Leviticus 11.42.
- 38:14It also has wings, so it falls into the fowl class, Isaiah 14, 29.
- 38:20And it can also dwell in the sea, so it's grouped with the life and the waters
- 38:24class, Isaiah 27, 1. It is the ultimate animal.
- 38:28That's the dragon, as described in scripture.
- 38:32So that's an interesting side note there. So you have the creature class,
- 38:37and then you have man class, obviously.
- 38:39Man, after his own kind, He's obviously on earth He's in a fallen state Is he redeemable?
- 38:45Yes He can be redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
- 38:49So man, you know, refers to mankind as a whole, but it's obviously in the general
- 38:54sense, the male gender man, you know, originally created an image and after
- 38:58the likeness of the creator with the female gender being made of and for the
- 39:02man, 1 Corinthians 11, 8 through 9.
- 39:04Modern science refers to man as homo sapien, falsely classifying him with the
- 39:10primate or monkey-like species of animal.
- 39:14Man is not an animal. God makes that distinction.
- 39:18Why? because we have the spirit of a man, not the spirit of a beast.
- 39:24That's the distinction is our intellect, our understanding, our epistemological
- 39:29foundation, our base, basically, right?
- 39:32We understand things differently than animals do. Let's see.
- 39:37He says here, he says, where is it?
- 39:40To classify man as an animal and to declare that his physical appearance is
- 39:45simply an inconsequential fluke of evolution is to spit in the face of God Almighty.
- 39:50It is a blasphemy of the worst sort.
- 39:53Man looks the way he does because God looks the same way, but in a much more perfect form.
- 40:00Currently, the state of man, the man is in a state of sin, lost that perfect
- 40:04tripart image of God, the image composed of a spirit in the soul of the physical
- 40:08body, is only regained through the imputed righteousness of the Creator, through Jesus Christ.
- 40:13Now, the Bible says the spirits of all men return unto God at death.
- 40:18That's Ecclesiastes 12, 7. And the soul goes either to heaven or hell.
- 40:22So the man class is different than the creature or beast class.
- 40:27And then you have the next class, which we've been talking about,
- 40:31is the angelic class, angels.
- 40:33And their origin is they are a direct creation of God. They're not after their own kind.
- 40:39They don't reproduce, basically. Created. Yeah, angels don't reproduce other
- 40:45angels. They're created.
- 40:47Their residence is third heaven, right? Angels of God.
- 40:50But they're also in the second heaven, which are the vagabond angels of Satan
- 40:54who operate here on this earth.
- 40:57And of course, there's angels like the Prince of Persia and other princes that
- 41:02are spiritual representatives of globalistic and multicultural governments and things like that.
- 41:11And then you also have angels that are locked away in hell. So they're in heaven,
- 41:16they're on the second heaven on earth, and they're in hell.
- 41:21That's where they exist. Now the relation to God Well the angels that are right
- 41:25with God Are the angels of God The fallen angels Are the ones that are associated
- 41:30with Satan And they've sinned Are they redeemable? Nope They don't have a soul.
- 41:35So, one of the things we didn't talk about last time with angels,
- 41:39and I want to spend a little bit of time more on this because this is what the
- 41:42topic is, angelology, right?
- 41:44But the Bible says that there's an innumerable company of angels,
- 41:48Job 38.7, Hebrews 12.22.
- 41:51But also known as a heavenly host, ministering spirits, stars,
- 41:55and sons of God, these beings appear identical to human men.
- 42:00But they possess supernatural abilities like super strength,
- 42:04invisibility, wingless flight, healing, telekinesis, the ability to control
- 42:09animals, the ability to control certain elements such as fire, water, and air.
- 42:14Angels also exist in military-like ranks. You have archangels,
- 42:18king angels, prince angels, with certain angels having authority over other
- 42:23angels, and Michael being the only one known as the archangel.
- 42:27According to Daniel 10.13, Daniel 12.1, Jude 1.9, Revelation 9.11, and Revelation 12.7.
- 42:35But he mentions here the most common attribute the Bible prescribes to angels
- 42:40is not relaying messages. We talked about this, right? Yeah.
- 42:44As many men teach, but they carry out the judgments of God by dispensing the
- 42:49sword, pestilence, famine, plagues, etc.
- 42:53Etc., known as destroying angels, 1 Chronicles 21, 9-15, or evil angels, Psalm 78, 42-49.
- 43:03The scriptures also list a variety
- 43:05of other angelic tasks, such as those performed by messenger angels.
- 43:10So you have Luke 1, 19, and verse 26, Zechariah 1-6, so forth and so on.
- 43:15You have reaper angels that reap in Matthew 13, verses 39-42.
- 43:20You have Revelation 14, and so forth and so on.
- 43:23That's when they reap and they separate the wheat from the chaff.
- 43:28Then you have guardian angels, Psalms 91 verses 1 through 15, Hebrews 1, 14, so forth.
- 43:35And you had those angels that did minister to Christ, for example,
- 43:39after he fasted 40 days and 40 nights.
- 43:41So, in contrast to the righteous and just angels of God in heaven,
- 43:47there also exists a group of fallen angels under the command of Satan.
- 43:51And the Bible never tells us the number, right? It never tells us how many.
- 43:56It just tells us in the book of Revelation that a third of them fall.
- 44:00If there's an innumerable company of angels, which is in parallel with the stars,
- 44:05think about it. You can't count the stars, can you? No.
- 44:09But stars can be representative of angels. Right.
- 44:12There's an innumerable company of angels, innumerable company of stars. There's lightness.
- 44:16Right? Matter of fact, Brother Knox just did a message on rethinking the star
- 44:19of Bethlehem, and he talks about it being an angel. It's not a celestial object in the sky.
- 44:25That's what a lot of fundamentalist stuff believe, that it's some bright star
- 44:28in the sky that followed him.
- 44:29It's actually the more than light, and it's through inductive Bible study,
- 44:34but you inductively come to the conclusion that it is an angel.
- 44:38So, but anyway, not all fallen angels are currently running around loose with
- 44:43the devil, however, as an unknown number are locked away in hell under the chains
- 44:47of darkness awaiting judgment, 2 Peter 2.4.
- 44:50And another four are bound in the Euphrates River, Revelation 9.14.
- 44:56And one, a king angel known as Abaddon or Apollyon.
- 45:00So Abaddon is the Hebrew name, Apollyon is the Greek name, which is interesting
- 45:06because Judas Iscariot has a Hebrew name and a Greek name, by the way.
- 45:11Reigns over monsters of the bottomless pit.
- 45:13And those monsters are those demon locusts that basically come out of the bottomless
- 45:19pit with hair as women, mouth as lions, and faces men.
- 45:24Anyway, and they're loose during the Great Tribulation. That's Revelation 9-11.
- 45:27Because angels appear identical to human men.
- 45:31This is Hebrews chapter 13, verse 2. And because there are no female angels,
- 45:37certain angels that sin became physically attached or attracted to earth women
- 45:42and sired illicit children by them.
- 45:45This union between two distinct classes of life, the angelic class and the man
- 45:51class, created a hybrid relationship.
- 45:54Offspring, which is a giant. Now, most of our evangelicals and some of these
- 46:00guys that get into prophecy and stuff like that, they like to refer to Nephilim.
- 46:05I'm sure you've heard that phrase before, right? And they say that because they're
- 46:09afraid of the word giant.
- 46:10They want to go back to the Hebrew or either they want to try to sound smart,
- 46:13but the truth of the matter is that's what a giant is.
- 46:16Okay. So the giant in the Bible or giants in the Bible are not,
- 46:22They're not directly created by God, are they? No. They're an indirect creation.
- 46:27And they fall outside. They're a cross-mixing of the man class and the angel
- 46:32class, which means it is at variance with the will of God concerning creation.
- 46:38So a strange life form, which is what man is to angels.
- 46:44There's an interesting statement when you read in Genesis, Genesis chapter 6.
- 46:48And the Bible says, and it says, and man, he, and he is flesh.
- 46:54It talks about him being a separate type of flesh than the flesh of angels,
- 46:59two different types of flesh.
- 47:00And they mix and they produce these giants.
- 47:04So anyway, if you go back to read, I would encourage people to go back and read
- 47:08Genesis 6, read it carefully.
- 47:10Look how, and here's another statement. I was just talking to one of my Bible
- 47:13students last night, and he had asked, he goes, hey, Brother Robert,
- 47:18what do you think of that statement that Noah was perfect in his generations?
- 47:23You know, most people say, oh, he was a good man.
- 47:27He was a just man. Well, the Bible says he's a just man.
- 47:31Spirit-filled life. Very spirit-filled man. You know, he showed up at church
- 47:35every time the doors were open. You know, anyway.
- 47:38But in truth, it says generations. And if you let the Bible define itself instead
- 47:44of a preacher or a Bible teacher or a scholar, let the Bible define it.
- 47:49If you go to Genesis chapter 5, it says these are the generations of Adam.
- 47:54You go to Matthew chapter 1, it says this is the book of the generations of Jesus Christ.
- 47:59Generations is genealogy. That means genetically, he was perfect. Yeah.
- 48:04He wasn't perfect because he was a moral man. He was perfect because his genetic
- 48:10line had not been violated by these sons of God.
- 48:15So God says— Which was a big problem back in the day. Back then.
- 48:18God's not going to—he's going to destroy all those life forms.
- 48:22That's why he chose him. That's right. Interesting.
- 48:25Yeah. It's amazing when it starts coming together. Not because he paid his tithe.
- 48:28You understand? So anyway, side joke. All right. So anyway, so you had this
- 48:33union between these two classes.
- 48:35Well, anyway, that was sin. It wasn't sanctioned by God.
- 48:39And it became a one-way street for angels. And the Bible talks about that in
- 48:43Jude that they left their first estate.
- 48:45Their first, you know, that state. Now they became, the Bible says in the book
- 48:50of Psalms, I think it's chapter 82, where it says they shall die like men.
- 48:56And that's exactly what happened. Those angels that sinned left their first estate.
- 49:01They can suffer judgment and now can die physically.
- 49:05I wonder if they lost their superpowers. You know, maybe not.
- 49:08This is separate. Well, what we do know is that the Bible says that there's
- 49:13angels that have been chained in everlasting darkness.
- 49:16So apparently they're in prison. They have no free access to the earth like
- 49:20these other fallen angels that follow Satan.
- 49:22So maybe because of that direct violation where they cohabitated with human
- 49:28beings, it was a great violation from the order that God set in Genesis 1.
- 49:34And you know what? This is what Mardis alludes to throughout the book is that
- 49:39I don't think people understand the great transgression that happened in Genesis 6.
- 49:46It was such a wicked event. It was so wicked in the eyes of God that he decided
- 49:53to push the reset button and wipe out all life on earth.
- 49:57As a result of what happened with the sons of God. Yep.
- 50:01And it was so bad that God says, Jesus Christ says, you know what the last days
- 50:07are going to be like? Like the days of Noah.
- 50:09And you know what Daniel chapter 2 tells us with the image of Daniel?
- 50:14The Bible says when you get down to the toes, it's a mix of iron and clay.
- 50:19And it says, it clarifies what
- 50:21that means. It says, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men.
- 50:29I mean, if he's just stop and think about that for a second,
- 50:32going back to the story of the flood and Noah, we automatically,
- 50:37or we default to thinking, well, man just got bad, you know. Right.
- 50:42Or worse yet, they take the Schofield interpretation and say that the sons of
- 50:48God were the godly line of Seth. Okay, I got beef with that.
- 50:51We'll come back to that in a second.
- 50:52But like, when you think about that, it's like you think it's facilitated by
- 50:57man, but it's really facilitated by God's angels, sons of God.
- 51:02Well, Brother Martis brings up a good point.
- 51:04He says both were at fault, man and the sons of God, because it was the women
- 51:10that obviously were seducing these angels.
- 51:14And they were attractive enough for the angels to be interested in what they saw.
- 51:19So it makes you wonder what was going on with those women.
- 51:24But anyway, we'll probably get to that later on when we start talking about
- 51:28aliens and stuff like that.
- 51:29The reason why I'm saying we'll talk about that later is because Brother Mardis
- 51:35brings up later on when he gets into aliens, you know what you see?
- 51:39What was the imagery in the 50s and the 60s every time you saw black and white films with UFOs?
- 51:46It's always women being attractive women.
- 51:49Attractive woman, half naked, being abducted by aliens of some sort.
- 51:54Interesting. Yeah. Anyway. Very interesting. So, that's what I'm saying. It's a reoccurrence.
- 51:58Jesus Christ even said, look, if you want to know what the last days are going
- 52:02to be like, they're going to be like the days of Noah.
- 52:04Yeah. What was the most significant prominent transgression in the days of Noah
- 52:10was the sons of God with the daughters of Noah. Intermittent. Yeah.
- 52:13Yeah. And now we're getting another variant of that. Oh, yeah.
- 52:17That activity today. And that's where, you know, when we talk about,
- 52:20and that's why there's a lot of new ageism, occultism, witchcraft,
- 52:24a lot of that stuff is connected with alien cult. Going back to alien hybrids
- 52:28and stuff like that. I mean, there you go. That's the story right there.
- 52:31And it is a cult, believe it or not. It's a cult. Yeah, I believe it.
- 52:34And just really quickly, you know, you mentioned like the godly line of Seth.
- 52:39Why do you think that view is so pervasive, especially in the fundamentalist circles today?
- 52:44Well, because the first note Bible that ever was published was the Schofield Note Bible.
- 52:50It became the predominant Bible of fundamentalism in the early 50s,
- 52:55okay? So, it was a very significant study Bible.
- 52:59And he's the one that created—and Brother Martyrs actually has a great section
- 53:04where he covers the Schofield error and talks about it in depth.
- 53:08And that's probably, and I don't want to, because I'm going to tell you,
- 53:12to this day, the Schofield Bible is probably one of the best studied Bibles
- 53:15that you can pick up. Yeah, 100%. You know? That's really good.
- 53:17To me, it's the second best.
- 53:19So if you were to pick up, but he probably, he has about four or five mistakes out of his entire,
- 53:29I mean, talking about thousands of cross-references, he has about four or five
- 53:33theological mistakes that I would have a problem with.
- 53:36But you know what? Four or five mistakes out of thousands and thousands of notes
- 53:40actually isn't that bad.
- 53:42But you got to know your Bible and you got to know.
- 53:45So he makes a mistake and he says this, that the angels of heaven,
- 53:48he goes back to when Jesus Christ is talking to the Sadducees.
- 53:51The Sadducees are challenging with Jesus Christ with the woman who's married to a husband.
- 53:55Husband dies and she marries all other seven brothers.
- 53:59And they challenge and say, well, who's going to be your husband in the resurrection?
- 54:04And that's when Jesus says, you do err not knowing the scriptures,
- 54:08knowing the power of God.
- 54:09The angels are not given into marriage.
- 54:12It doesn't say they cannot reproduce.
- 54:15It doesn't say they're on earth. It says the angels in heaven.
- 54:19We just told you that angels can be in heaven. They can be in the second heaven
- 54:23or they can be on earth or they can be in hell.
- 54:26You see what I mean? That's why, remember what Jeffrey Dardis said at the beginning of the chapter?
- 54:32Distinctions. If you do not pay attention to distinctions, you're going to run into errors.
- 54:38That's why most fundamentalists, most people that are shallow in their Bible
- 54:43study, the reason why they're not dispensational is because they fail to identify
- 54:48and notice the distinctions.
- 54:51Okay? The hypers, the hyper-dispensationalists fail to see the parallels and the generalities.
- 54:59That's the error. You got two
- 55:00ditches. So the Bible believer needs to be balanced right in the middle.
- 55:04You need to be able to identify the broad principles and the broad generalities,
- 55:10but you also need to be able to just distinguish those minute details and the distinction.
- 55:17Hey, everyone, Alan here. As you can imagine, as comprehensive a topic that
- 55:21we're talking about, this started to go a little bit long, so we thought it
- 55:25best to maybe split this episode into two parts.
- 55:29So we just covered only the three classes of life ending at the angels just now.
- 55:35We still have four more to go.
- 55:38So we're going to go ahead and drop the next episode, or at least the continuation
- 55:42of this episode, around the new year, where we'll get to complete the four classes of life.
- 55:48So there's just a lot to talk about when it comes to angeology.
- 55:52Obviously, it goes beyond angels when it comes to different classes of life,
- 55:55and it's going to give us a good foundation to broaden our discussion and make
- 56:02it easier to understand as we cover some of the different topics around this.
- 56:05So I hope that you all that are listening, that you are as fascinated as we
- 56:10are around these topics and how amazing the Word of God is as we begin to dive deeper into it.
- 56:17So with that, we'll go ahead and close it up here.
- 56:21I look forward to our next continuation of this episode to drop here in the next week.
- 56:27And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and we'll see you on the next one.
