Forever Stamps Just Got More Expensive | Sacramento News
Starting Sunday, July 14th, first-class Forever stamps are jumping from 78 cents to 82 cents — just the latest in six price hikes over five years that have made stamps 34% more expensive since 2021. The U.S. Postal Service, reeling from a $9 billion loss in FY2025 and shrinking mail volume, is raising prices on stamps and postcards to stay afloat. Domestic postcards now cost 65 cents, international ones 75 cents. Postmaster General hints at future hikes, possibly pushing Forever stamps to 90-95 cents.
