- 0:00SPEAKER_01: The iconoclasts of the Red-Green Alliance aren't just burning down France.
- 0:05SPEAKER_01: They're burning down the West.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: Their iconoclasm is a melange of resentment, self-loathing, and nihilism.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: Those who lean red have infinite wants no redistribution regime can ever supply.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: Those who lean green bring a theocratic axe to grind against Western decadence.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: Yet the powers that be have treated even the most militant among them like poor, poor puppies.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: So, in Europe's quasi-socialist countries,
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: the Red-Green Alliance doubles down on the idea that destruction brings dignity
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: and taking brings tumos.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: The welfare state offers material comfort without demanding meaningful contribution.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: For many,
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: work becomes optional,
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: grievance becomes their vocation, and belonging is found among rioters.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: They never assimilate.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: They wander and wait,
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: becoming the dry tender of a civilization that thought compassion
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: and post-colonial self-loathing should order society.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: And now that tender is catching fire.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Infrared loops.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: I don't always agree with Nick Land of Dark Enlightenment fame,
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: but this assessment is worth remembering.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: Quote, social solidarity in precise contrast is the parasite's friend.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: By cropping out all high-frequency feedback mechanisms
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: A radically democratized society insulates parasitism from what it does,
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: transforming local, painfully dysfunctional,
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Unquote.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Translation, when societies prioritize vague social solidarity,
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: and collective democratic decision making over tight accountability loops,
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: they make it easier for people to free ride.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Small, fixable problems turn into big chronic ones because the costs are delayed,
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: diluted, and no longer felt by the people creating them.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Highly egalitarian or redistributive systems
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: that reward dependency can turn free writing from an occasional vice into a way
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: of life.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Tighter feedback loops send faster,
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: more accurate signals about value and contribution
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: than centralized political processes do.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Of course, dignity and life meaning come, in no small part, from contribution.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: If you think poor,
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: poor developing world puppies should be welcomed but not asked to contribute,
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: don't be surprised when many grow up to become wolves that Roman packs.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: And if you steep your elites in a strange mix of guilt and entitlement,
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: don't be surprised when they serve up what's left of the West to feed
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: the goddamn wolves.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Fight for it.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: The West is neither a rat race nor a feeding trough.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: It is a set of ideas, and some ideas are better than others.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: Yet the Red-Green Alliance seeks to kill the very idea that some ideas are better
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: than others, and they have been wildly successful.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: Just look at all these wayward children.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: But we have to learn to fight again.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: We have to learn to defend the best of the West with confidence and ambition,
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: even as we jettison some of its worst excesses.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: We also have to be prepared to make tough decisions and face
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: a truth polite society would rather avoid.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: Some cultures and ideologies are incompatible with Western civilization.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: It is not the middle who determine our future.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: It is who among these And some people have no intention of living by its code.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: The West, like America, is not rooted in race.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: It's based on a creed.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: And what's in that creed?
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: Let's do a quick top ten.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: One, hold the rights of others,
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: their life, liberty, and property, as sacred, in reciprocity with your own.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: Two, recognize your fellow citizens as equals,
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: not in the accidents of birth or the exercise of virtues and talents,
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: but in the eyes of the law and of your creator.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: Three, ground all law in the consent of the governed,
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: and claim your rights of secession,
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: establishment, and association through real social contracts, not theoretical ones.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Four, practice personal, social, and civic
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: Five, defend yourself,
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: your family,
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: and your neighbors against criminals,
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: tyrants,
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: and anti-Western iconoclasts,
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: taking up arms if necessary to guard freedom and civilization.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Six, be sovereign, creative, and industrious in your own way.
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: So that society benefits from your service and you benefit from your service.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: 7.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: Prioritize your community over your country because you must live
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: among your neighbors and the principle of subsidiarity should mirror that priority.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: 8.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: Associate with others in compassion, charity, and free collaboration.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: Lift your neighbors when they fall, and they should lift you.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: 9.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: Refuse to be a slave to the mob, and refuse to be a slave to any victim mentality.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: 10.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Pledge loyalty to your creed and live by its code,
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: which includes uniting with others in reciprocity between Jesus and Nietzsche.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: Friedrich Nietzsche called himself the Antichrist,
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: then wrote that there had only ever been one Christian, and he died on the cross.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: The philosopher with the hammer could never stop orbiting the carpenter,
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: so perhaps we should take the hint.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: From Nietzsche, the new Western man must take the hammer.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: He must learn to smell that sour stench on every mob that has torched a cathedral
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: and called it justice.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: He will not make weakness a virtue or grievance a religion.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: He says amen to his fate, his labor, and his share of suffering.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: He wills himself into something greater than he was before.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: From Jesus, he takes the basin and the towel.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: He kneels to wash the feet of those who walk away from him.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: He will cross the road to the stranger in the ditch,
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: He forgives those who wrong him, but he knows the difference between forgiveness and surrender.
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: Each falls short in isolation.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: Nietzsche without Jesus might inspire a strong man willing to climb on others' necks
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: to greatness.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: Jesus without Nietzsche,
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: at least the Jesus of bureaucrats and moralists,
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: gives us a pity party on a grand scale.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Compulsion masquerading as compassion becomes policy.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: Guilt becomes a tax.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: The poor get paid to stay poor so the comfortable can feel upright with their I voted stickers.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: Europe tried that second coming and look at all the fires.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: The synthesis was hiding in Zarathustra.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: Nietzsche designated the gift-giving virtue the highest, the one that overflows.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: A soul full enough must give, the way a cup set under a fountain must spill.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: The Samaritan answered to no ministry and carried no guilt.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: He had oil, coin, and a strong back.
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: He was the kind of man willing to spend them on a stranger.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: But never forget,
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: charity must come from prosperity and personal choice, not from guilt or grievance.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: Strength must serve love, but a love So the new world,
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: The western man is an ubermensch who kneels.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: He is a Templar knight willing to fuck his woman.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: He kneels to lay foundation stones.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: He can fight, but he'd rather plant.
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: He's strong enough to destroy, yet chooses to build.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: And he gives because he's full.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: He asks his neighbor to contribute because he respects him too much to pity him.
- 8:27SPEAKER_01: If his neighbor seeks to tear down what he has built,
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: he must gird his loins and turn no cheeks.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: The new Western man will rise from the ashes left by the iconoclasts,
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: and he will take away their torches.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: The new Western man practices human respect first,
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: but otherwise defends and retaliates against those who refuse to reciprocate it.
- 8:49SPEAKER_01: So together we will fight as we must.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: We will win, and our children will inherit the Renaissance.
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: I'm Max Borders.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: Let's criticize by creating.
- 9:00[music]
