The Dragon. Bolek and Lolek is the most famous
• 3:33
Polish animated cartoon in the world. The characters
• 3:35
appeared for the first time in an animated film
• 3:38
in 1962. The series talks about two twin brothers,
• 3:42
Bolek with the line in the middle and Lolek with
• 3:44
four hair combed with pineapple hair and their
• 3:47
fun and sometimes silly adventures often set
• 3:51
in the open air. Bolek and Lolek were created
• 3:54
by Alfred Ledwig, Wadislaw Nerebecki and Leszek
• 3:57
Lorek. Distributed all over the world, the cartoon
• 4:00
was one of the few animated series to be broadcast
• 4:03
on Iranian TV. In the years, the film studio
• 4:10
Rysunkowicz of Bielsko -Biala, the southern city
• 4:13
of Poland, produced 11 seasons for 174 episodes
• 4:18
plus 9 feature films. Bolek and Lolek became
• 4:20
so famous that Bielsko -Biala wanted to pay homage
• 4:24
to them with two bronze statues. In 2006, the
• 4:27
evidently intransigent authors of the cartoon
• 4:29
cited in court a famous German gay magazine for
• 4:33
having used Bolek and Lolek as testimonials.
