- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice for sure. It's time. Hello and Lo, Hello, welcome
- 0:15Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Nicsham you host Rob Shooter, and
- 0:17Speaker 1: it's Wednesday. Normally, our dear friend Donnie Meacham joins us
- 0:20Speaker 1: on a Wednesday, but he's off today. He has work commitments,
- 0:24Speaker 1: so as well as doing this fabulous podcast, we all
- 0:27Speaker 1: have other jobs and so sometimes there is a conflict
- 0:31Speaker 1: and so I totally respect that. Donnie. We love you
- 0:34Speaker 1: and we will see you next week. Let's jump into
- 0:36Speaker 1: ash show. What time is it, my friends? It is
- 0:38Speaker 1: d time. Big story at the top of the show.
- 0:41Speaker 1: So Beyonce's Cowboy Carter tour is not selling and now
- 0:47Speaker 1: tick keep prices have been slashed. So hours before the
- 0:52Speaker 1: first night of her Cowboycotter tour in La she played
- 0:57Speaker 1: a massive stage and I think she's doing three or
- 0:59Speaker 1: four nights there, thousands of tickets were still available and
- 1:02Speaker 1: this made the ticket price crash to as low as
- 1:06Speaker 1: twenty dollars. Now, this is where it gets really interesting.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Fans who forked out over one thousand dollars during pre
- 1:13Speaker 1: sales to get a seat. And I'm feeling really angry
- 1:17Speaker 1: about this. You think buying really expensive seats is the
- 1:21Speaker 1: way to go get your tickets of free sale. However,
- 1:25Speaker 1: when you see a seat that you paid a thousand
- 1:28Speaker 1: dollars for going for twenty dollars, it's really really infuriating.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I've never had this happen to me. I never buy
- 1:37Speaker 1: the expensive seats. They're just way, way too much expensive.
- 1:40Speaker 1: They're out of my my budget. But I have got
- 1:43Speaker 1: some friends who really really like one single, one artist,
- 1:47Speaker 1: and they're willing to pay top dollar to see him
- 1:49Speaker 1: or her. Then if they had waited, if they had waited,
- 1:52Speaker 1: and that's the gamble, the ticket prices are reduced. It's
- 1:56Speaker 1: this new thing in concerts and Broadway shows where they
- 2:00Speaker 1: put ticket prices out really high at first, ridiculously high,
- 2:04Speaker 1: and then if they don't sell, they lower them, and
- 2:07Speaker 1: if they don't sell, they keep lowering them. Well, let
- 2:10Speaker 1: me give you give you a little bit of advice here.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Most most shows do not sell out. So the longer
- 2:18Speaker 1: you can wait, and I know it's difficult, particularly if
- 2:20Speaker 1: you really love somebody, the better deal you're gonna get.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You know, I love Madonna. I've told you about it
- 2:28Speaker 1: a million times. But I'm not paying eight hundred dollars.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I'm not paying six hundred dollars. I'm not paying four
- 2:33Speaker 1: hundred dollars to see her, So her last concert I
- 2:36Speaker 1: just wasn't gonna go to. I'd made peace with the
- 2:38Speaker 1: fact I'm not spending all that money, and then a
- 2:41Speaker 1: day before the show it had not sold out, the
- 2:43Speaker 1: ticket prices were slashed. I think I got a great
- 2:46Speaker 1: seat for one hundred and fifty dollars, which is still
- 2:48Speaker 1: a lot of money, but it's not one thousand dollars.
- 2:51Speaker 1: If you can wait, If you can wait, you will
- 2:55Speaker 1: get a deal. What does it feel like? Has this
- 2:57Speaker 1: happened to you. I've had friends who have paid a
- 3:00Speaker 1: lot of money to see theater. Most of my friends
- 3:02Speaker 1: do not really go to that many pop concerts. They
- 3:05Speaker 1: like theater, but they spent a lot of money to
- 3:07Speaker 1: buy a theater ticket and then they find out the
- 3:09Speaker 1: seat next to them is half price. It's infuriating, isn't it.
- 3:12Speaker 1: But that's the gamble of life. There's nothing you can
- 3:15Speaker 1: do about that. And they're breaking no laws. This is
- 3:17Speaker 1: totally allowed. What do you think should there be a law?
- 3:20Speaker 1: Should we have one price and that's it? Or no?
- 3:23Speaker 1: You can't do that, not in a democracy and a
- 3:25Speaker 1: free capitalist economy. You can charge whatever you want. These
- 3:29Speaker 1: are private individuals, they're private businesses. Madonna is a business,
- 3:33Speaker 1: John bon Jovi is a business. Rod Stewart, Lady Gaga
- 3:37Speaker 1: our businesses, and so is Beyonce. So they can target
- 3:41Speaker 1: their ticket price, make it up, make it lower. The
- 3:44Speaker 1: airlines do this. If you want to travel on a holiday,
- 3:47Speaker 1: they jack the price up. If you want to travel
- 3:50Speaker 1: at a time a year where nobody travels, the price
- 3:54Speaker 1: is lower. I'm experiencing this at the moment. My sister's daughter,
- 3:57Speaker 1: Paris and my niece Paris is getting married, getting married
- 4:01Speaker 1: at Christmas, the most expensive time of the year to
- 4:05Speaker 1: get a ticket. So I went on to the British
- 4:08Speaker 1: Airways website and everybody else, American Airline United, and I've
- 4:12Speaker 1: had that. The tickets get literally increased in price just
- 4:16Speaker 1: two days before I want to go. I've got no
- 4:18Speaker 1: choice that they're stuck. So they're going to make a
- 4:19Speaker 1: lot of money out to be able to buy a
- 4:21Speaker 1: really cheap seat. Don't worry about that. But what do
- 4:24Speaker 1: you think of that? Is it drives me mad? Does
- 4:27Speaker 1: it drive you mad too? And what about Beyonce? Insiders
- 4:30Speaker 1: tell me she's still Beyonce. Maybe the days of her
- 4:33Speaker 1: fans paying unlimited amount of money are over, but she's
- 4:37Speaker 1: still a huge hit. And let's remember she's not playing
- 4:40Speaker 1: Radio City, she's playing a stadium. Radio City is big.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I'm not dishing it at all. I have some friends
- 4:46Speaker 1: who have performed there. I've got a comedian friend who's
- 4:48Speaker 1: performing there in a couple of months. And it's about
- 4:51Speaker 1: six five six thousand cities. Beyonce's playing seventy eighty thousand.
- 4:55Speaker 1: She's playing the same size venues as Taylor Swift, and
- 4:58Speaker 1: they look packed. I had friends who were there last
- 5:00Speaker 1: night and they said it it didn't look empty. But
- 5:02Speaker 1: if you did on their website. That's the other thing.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Now ticket Master you can see everything. The old days,
- 5:07Speaker 1: when you used to get tickets, you never really know
- 5:10Speaker 1: what were selling, what was wasn't selling. You never really knew.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Now you can go on ticket Master and I'd promise you,
- 5:17Speaker 1: if you want to see a Broadway show tonight, ninety
- 5:19Speaker 1: nine percent of them will have a single ticket, maybe
- 5:21Speaker 1: two single tickets. They might not be in the best seats,
- 5:24Speaker 1: maybe they are. That's the other thing, too, a little secret.
- 5:27Speaker 1: All these shows on Broadway and all these concerts have
- 5:32Speaker 1: something in the business known as house seats, hou s,
- 5:36Speaker 1: e sea t s. House seats. These are seats that
- 5:42Speaker 1: are reserved for the VIPs, for the authors, for friends
- 5:45Speaker 1: of the artists, and often they reserve a lot of them.
- 5:48Speaker 1: They're the best seats and they're not on sale. You
- 5:50Speaker 1: and me can never buy these seats. They're reserved for
- 5:53Speaker 1: friends of Lady Gagar, for friends of Beyonce. Well quite
- 5:56Speaker 1: often these stars don't have all the friends you think
- 5:59Speaker 1: they do. And a couple of days before the performances,
- 6:02Speaker 1: I think it's twenty four hours, they release them to
- 6:04Speaker 1: the public. So if an artist, an author, as somebody
- 6:08Speaker 1: that's on Broadway, if they have not claimed those seats
- 6:11Speaker 1: twenty four hours before, those seats are released to the public,
- 6:14Speaker 1: and these are the best seats, they're held back. So
- 6:16Speaker 1: if you can wait twenty four hours before a show,
- 6:19Speaker 1: go on to ticket Master and there's again there'd be
- 6:21Speaker 1: some really great seats available. Now. The risk here is
- 6:25Speaker 1: that is not always the case. If you're looking for
- 6:27Speaker 1: a cheap Taylor Swift ticket, yeah I'm gonna get one.
- 6:30Speaker 1: If you're looking for a cheap or available Taylor's Swift
- 6:33Speaker 1: house seat, impossible, not gonna be there. But if people
- 6:36Speaker 1: like Beyonce have seats available, then Deeole like Rod Stuard
- 6:43Speaker 1: have seats available too. So the next time you rush
- 6:46Speaker 1: out to buy a ticket, I get it. You love
- 6:48Speaker 1: this artist, you want to see them. Next time you
- 6:51Speaker 1: think like that, take a moment, take a month, and
- 6:54Speaker 1: I promise you the price will go down, Which brings
- 6:57Speaker 1: us to a question of the day. Beyonce's Cowboy Carter
- 7:02Speaker 1: tour is not selling and they've slashed the prices. Are
- 7:06Speaker 1: cheap last minute tickets fair to fans who have played
- 7:12Speaker 1: full price? Would you rather have somebody sit next to
- 7:15Speaker 1: you in a good seat for half price or the
- 7:17Speaker 1: seat be empty? Oh it's a good question, isn't it.
- 7:21Speaker 1: What is that? Is that petty? Is that mean to
- 7:23Speaker 1: say I want it to be empty? But if I've
- 7:24Speaker 1: paid full price? I think sitting next to me for
- 7:27Speaker 1: half prize they would drive me in saying what do
- 7:30Speaker 1: you think are cheap last minute tickets fair to fans? Hey?
- 7:36Speaker 1: Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob
- 7:39Speaker 1: Our facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to
- 7:43Speaker 1: check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Moving along,
- 7:46Speaker 1: Mega Mickle is swearing that she will be married forever
- 7:49Speaker 1: to Prince Harry, but some insiders are not so sure.
- 7:52Speaker 1: So she appeared on her first podcast, and she's shutting
- 7:55Speaker 1: down all the speculation about divorce, insisting that she and
- 7:58Speaker 1: Harry will be married forever. So she was actually asked
- 8:02Speaker 1: point blank by Jamie Kerr Lema if she's going to
- 8:07Speaker 1: stay married forever. Megan beamed and immediately responded yes. She said, quote,
- 8:13Speaker 1: he's a fox. Harry's a fox if you haven't noticed,
- 8:16Speaker 1: My husband's very, very handsome, but his heart is even
- 8:19Speaker 1: more beautiful. So the Duchess appeared makeup free in sweatpants,
- 8:23Speaker 1: looking really casual. It's a great conversation. Check it out
- 8:26Speaker 1: if you've got a minute. This question took me. Took
- 8:28Speaker 1: me by surprise. It's such a direct question. She also
- 8:33Speaker 1: adds none of this. She calls Harry h h That
- 8:37Speaker 1: man loves me so much. She said, We've built a
- 8:39Speaker 1: beautiful life together and we have two healthy and beautiful children. Now,
- 8:44Speaker 1: insiders are saying that although behind the scenes things are good,
- 8:49Speaker 1: they're maybe not as good as Meghan makes out, and
- 8:51Speaker 1: every marriage has issues, every relationship does, and the rumors
- 8:55Speaker 1: about her getting divorced. They are not true, but my
- 8:57Speaker 1: insiders say that it is. It's a process. It's not easy,
- 9:02Speaker 1: particularly when you marry somebody who was born a prince,
- 9:05Speaker 1: somebody who's entitled and used to everybody saying yes. It's
- 9:09Speaker 1: been a real adjustment for the two of them. They
- 9:12Speaker 1: are determined to make this work, but it has been
- 9:16Speaker 1: a challenge. Now. Meghan seems to be reluctant to admit
- 9:20Speaker 1: any problems, and I get it. If people constantly say
- 9:23Speaker 1: you're going to get divorced, you don't want to give
- 9:25Speaker 1: them any ammunition, do you. However, I do think it's
- 9:29Speaker 1: a chance to be really, really honest. You know. I
- 9:32Speaker 1: know relationships are difficult, and there's good days, there's bad days.
- 9:36Speaker 1: There's good moments, and there's bad moments. And so although
- 9:39Speaker 1: I do believe Meghan, I absolutely do, and I hope
- 9:42Speaker 1: she's right. I hope they are together forever. I believe
- 9:45Speaker 1: in love. I also think that it might have been
- 9:48Speaker 1: maybe smart, maybe a good opportunity, maybe a moment where
- 9:51Speaker 1: we could think Meghan was so authentic when she talks
- 9:54Speaker 1: about sometimes it is a struggle, which it certainly is,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and there's nothing wrong with that. A great relationship is
- 10:01Speaker 1: Victoria Beckham, who is loosting handsome husband David after he
- 10:05Speaker 1: wore a tragic outfit to go gardening. She said that
- 10:10Speaker 1: she looked at this really cute guy in her garden
- 10:14Speaker 1: doing the radishes. Is anything more romantic than that? He
- 10:17Speaker 1: had a great T shirt on, khaki shorts, he had
- 10:20Speaker 1: socks on and an orange beanie and so she said
- 10:24Speaker 1: to him, what are you wearing? And he said, are
- 10:27Speaker 1: you I look nice? And she said, you do look nice,
- 10:30Speaker 1: but you do know that you were married to a
- 10:32Speaker 1: fashion icon, right, David was a good sport and he
- 10:36Speaker 1: laughed out loudly, said, I am. These two have been
- 10:39Speaker 1: married for twenty five years. They have had their ups
- 10:42Speaker 1: and downs, cheting scandals, lots of drama, but they are
- 10:46Speaker 1: the real real deal. One is really getting pus there today.
- 10:50Speaker 1: He's not David nothing he said. But what Victoria said.
- 10:53Speaker 1: People in the fashion world, I've worked for many of
- 10:56Speaker 1: the big fashion houses and they're tough. They really are.
- 10:59Speaker 1: There's full of really met people in them. They're saying,
- 11:01Speaker 1: it's really weird that she thinks she's a fashion icon.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I think she was making a joke. I think she
- 11:05Speaker 1: said it. If you watch the video with a little
- 11:07Speaker 1: bit of a wing. However, some people in fashion are
- 11:10Speaker 1: saying she is not done a televisageny. She is not guccy.
- 11:15Speaker 1: She needs to calm down. Well, I say, fashion community,
- 11:19Speaker 1: you calm down. It was a funny, silly thing to say, Victoria.
- 11:24Speaker 1: You are just cue okay, moving along. Justin bell Dony
- 11:29Speaker 1: has demanded legal documents, legal documents from Marvel. Let me explain.
- 11:37Speaker 1: So Justin bell Doney is not letting up, and now
- 11:40Speaker 1: he's taking the fight straight to Marvel and Disney over
- 11:43Speaker 1: what he claims to be a thinly veiled attack by
- 11:47Speaker 1: Ryan Reynolds in the latest Deadpool and Wolverine blockbuster. So,
- 11:51Speaker 1: according to exclusive new legal filings obtained by My good self,
- 11:57Speaker 1: Justin is demanding that Marvel coughed documents about the creation
- 12:02Speaker 1: of the Nice Paul, not Deadpool, nice Pool character. This
- 12:06Speaker 1: is a character that Ryan added. It was quite funny.
- 12:09Speaker 1: It was a little video. It was very very cute.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Now he claims that this character was specifically created to
- 12:15Speaker 1: mock and humiliate him after Blake Lively accused him of
- 12:19Speaker 1: fat shaming and sexual harassment during the disastrous It Ends
- 12:23Speaker 1: with Us shoot in the Deadpool and Wolverene Wolverine clip.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Ryan plays a character that most people think is Justin,
- 12:32Speaker 1: and he delivers a line about feminism, and he said,
- 12:37Speaker 1: where in God's name is the intimacy coordinator? So at
- 12:41Speaker 1: the time that this was released, people were sort of outraged.
- 12:43Speaker 1: They said that if Justin had sexually sexually harassed his wife,
- 12:49Speaker 1: sexually abused his wife, he probably wouldn't be making fun
- 12:52Speaker 1: of it to sell his movie. And so now Justin
- 12:56Speaker 1: wants all this documentation. Sources tell me that my Disney
- 13:01Speaker 1: big companies around Ryan Reynolds want this to go away.
- 13:07Speaker 1: He is under Blake is under tremendous pressure to settle this.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Forget Taylor Swift, forget Hugh Jackman. Now Marvel's involved, now
- 13:18Speaker 1: Disney's involved. It is just so ugly, It is just
- 13:23Speaker 1: so messy. This is going nowhere unless unless Blake and
- 13:28Speaker 1: Ryan consider settle in okay quickly before we get a
- 13:32Speaker 1: break a beautiful story. William and Kate celebrated their fourteen
- 13:36Speaker 1: years of marriage. Fourteen years can you believe it's flew
- 13:38Speaker 1: by with a secret escaped to Scotland. So fourteen years
- 13:43Speaker 1: after getting married at the iconic Westminster Abbey. I remember
- 13:47Speaker 1: the day William and Kate are celebrating quietly, far from
- 13:51Speaker 1: the flashballs of London and all the palies drama, in
- 13:54Speaker 1: a romantic rural escape to Scotland. The Prince and the
- 13:58Speaker 1: Princess of Wales, as the Duke and the Duchess of
- 14:01Speaker 1: Rossa say in Scotland, they were all smiles when they
- 14:05Speaker 1: touched down in a very colorful fishing village on the
- 14:09Speaker 1: Isle of Mull. These two looked really in sinct. Sources
- 14:13Speaker 1: tell me there was no pomp, no circumstances. It was
- 14:15Speaker 1: just two people reconnecting. Lots of people came out to
- 14:19Speaker 1: welcome them. And this trip is the most significant royal
- 14:22Speaker 1: outing for Kate since her very public battle with cancer
- 14:25Speaker 1: that began in twenty twenty four, and insiders say it
- 14:29Speaker 1: was William who planned every detail to ensue that she
- 14:32Speaker 1: was celebrated and cherished. They said, this anniversary is personal.
- 14:37Speaker 1: It's not about headlines, it's not about tradition. It's about resilience,
- 14:42Speaker 1: devotion and giving Kate a moment of peace. Let me
- 14:46Speaker 1: remind you that they met in Scotland. They met. Their
- 14:49Speaker 1: love story began at Saint Andrew's University, said that this
- 14:52Speaker 1: trip is full of nostalgia looking back. Friends of the
- 14:56Speaker 1: couple tell me this was the last moment that they
- 14:59Speaker 1: were just William and k This was before they were
- 15:01Speaker 1: a duke or duchess, or prince or princess. This is
- 15:04Speaker 1: when they were just William and Kate in this beautiful
- 15:07Speaker 1: little university town, Saint Andrew's really away from the spotlight,
- 15:11Speaker 1: and this is where they fell in love. They could
- 15:14Speaker 1: have gone anywhere on their anniversary, Let's face it, price
- 15:17Speaker 1: is no issue. They could have gone to Paris, they
- 15:19Speaker 1: could have gone to Rome, they could have done anything.
- 15:21Speaker 1: They chose to go back to Scotland, to the place
- 15:25Speaker 1: where it all started. Ah. I went to university in Edinburgh.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I was there for four or five years. I loved it.
- 15:31Speaker 1: One of the most magical cities, magical places in the world. Okay,
- 15:36Speaker 1: we're gonna take a quick break and we will be
- 15:38Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nic shall
- 15:42Speaker 1: have your host of shooter. Hey, let's get to the
- 15:43Speaker 1: polls the Dull. Last show, we talked about Travis Kelsey
- 15:50Speaker 1: who has unfollowed Ryan Reynolds on Instagram. Is this a
- 15:56Speaker 1: bad sign? So Travis is dating Taylor Swift. Ryan is
- 16:00Speaker 1: married to Blake Lively. Insiders tell me that Travis and
- 16:04Speaker 1: Ryan never really got along there. Okay, there's no drama there.
- 16:08Speaker 1: That hate each other, but they weren't best friends. They
- 16:11Speaker 1: hung out because their girlfriend and their wife were best friends,
- 16:14Speaker 1: and so they tags along with the two ladies, but
- 16:18Speaker 1: they were never actually that close themselves. Now Travis has
- 16:21Speaker 1: unfelowed Ryan and people are saying, oh, what is going
- 16:25Speaker 1: on here? Is it a good sign or a bad sign?
- 16:27Speaker 1: Eighty five percent said this is a bad sign. I agree.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Don't forget to vote on today's Paul Going to Act
- 16:35Speaker 1: twit top page had naughty nice rama or our Facebook
- 16:37Speaker 1: page which is naughty GASSIAPM. Be sure to check back
- 16:40Speaker 1: tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's time for
- 16:44Speaker 1: and Noisiest of the Day. So we had a little
- 16:48Speaker 1: bit of bad news at the top of the show
- 16:49Speaker 1: with Beyonce not selling so great, not terrible, but not great.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Lots of tickets have been reduced in price, and that's
- 16:55Speaker 1: making people who paid full price really really angry. Well,
- 16:58Speaker 1: there nicest of the days Beyonce too, because she brought
- 17:00Speaker 1: her daughters out on stage as surprise during the show.
- 17:04Speaker 1: So Blue Ivy and Roomy were at the show, proving
- 17:07Speaker 1: the Carter family really is the first family of music.
- 17:11Speaker 1: So Beyonce pulled the ultimate showstopper at her Cowboycotter kickoff
- 17:15Speaker 1: in Los Angeles on Monday night by bringing out not one,
- 17:18Speaker 1: but both of her daughters onto the stage. Queen Bee
- 17:22Speaker 1: stunned fans when she introduced her twelve year old twelve
- 17:25Speaker 1: now Blue Ivy and her seven year old Roomy, and
- 17:29Speaker 1: they had a really powerful performance of her track Protector,
- 17:34Speaker 1: sending the audience into apsolute chaos, screaming and shouting. Blue
- 17:41Speaker 1: Ivy is a seasoned performer at this point because she
- 17:44Speaker 1: joined her mom on her last tour. Remember that on
- 17:47Speaker 1: the Renocence tour she confidently took the stage, and she's
- 17:50Speaker 1: done it again. But this is the first time we
- 17:52Speaker 1: see a little Roomy and she stole the show, and
- 17:55Speaker 1: everyone's saying she's an absolute natural and that this was
- 17:58Speaker 1: a major, major, fabulous moment. Beyonce was on stage for
- 18:02Speaker 1: almost three hours thirty six songs. However, the loudest cheers
- 18:08Speaker 1: of the night did not come for Beyonce or her costumes,
- 18:10Speaker 1: or her backup dancers or even these big hits. It
- 18:12Speaker 1: came and the Carter Girls stepped into the spotlight on
- 18:17Speaker 1: their mummu's biggest stage yet nicest of the day, And
- 18:22Speaker 1: now I naught is the day? Naughty, naughty, naughty Stacy
- 18:24Speaker 1: London and Clinton Kelly Remember them from What Not to Wear? Well,
- 18:27Speaker 1: they're back, however, and they're not back with the new
- 18:30Speaker 1: show because they're new friends. They're back to God to
