- 0:00Speaker 1: And rich high Monica. Hi, what's go on?
- 0:05Speaker 2: So? Have you guys heard of a thing called admin Night? Yes,
- 0:11Speaker 2: I've heard of that, Okay, yeah, I saw it on
- 0:14Speaker 2: my TikTok and I. It's where you intentionally you stay
- 0:17Speaker 2: home all night and do all of your adult chores
- 0:21Speaker 2: that instead of going out that you've been needing to
- 0:24Speaker 2: do that I've been getting like pushed to the back
- 0:26Speaker 2: burner forever, like anything, any random stuff that you haven't
- 0:31Speaker 2: been doing. And so I was like, oh, it sounds
- 0:33Speaker 2: like I need this, Like there's so much stuff that
- 0:36Speaker 2: I have been avoiding. But I tried it, and it
- 0:41Speaker 2: got out of control so fast. It went horribly. I started,
- 0:45Speaker 2: I sat down to organize my emails, and somehow I
- 0:50Speaker 2: ended the night. I was cleaning out my fridge. It
- 0:52Speaker 2: was eleven PM. I was arguing on the phone to
- 0:55Speaker 2: customer service over a subscription that I had accidentally signed
- 0:59Speaker 2: up bordering a free trial and twenty twenty four that
- 1:02Speaker 2: I've been paying for this whole time. And I also
- 1:05Speaker 2: realized I've been using expired car insurance cards for months.
- 1:10Speaker 2: So I started. It started in self care, and it
- 1:13Speaker 2: ended up with me having a full identity crisis.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the ultimate backfire of that because it's literally
- 1:19Speaker 3: supposed to make you like feel relief because you have
- 1:23Speaker 3: so much to do when you're finally getting it all done.
- 1:25Speaker 4: No, it was a terrible idea. You should change admin
- 1:28Speaker 4: night to just like I'm going to go out and
- 1:30Speaker 4: do something fun night. That's something way back.
- 1:32Speaker 5: You just have to switch up how you do ADMIN night.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Like on my mom Facebook group, there was this woman
- 1:37Speaker 5: and she posted she said, I have a lot of
- 1:39Speaker 5: things that I have to get done, but I need
- 1:41Speaker 5: someone to hold me accountable. Is there anyone that will
- 1:44Speaker 5: just come over, sit down and chat with me while
- 1:46Speaker 5: I do all this stuff? So then you'll like, you know,
- 1:49Speaker 5: have a distraction, Like you got to get a friend
- 1:51Speaker 5: that will help you do admin nights so you don't
- 1:53Speaker 5: crash out.
- 1:53Speaker 1: You don't want a distraction because you don't want to distract.
- 1:57Speaker 1: You'll hold you.
- 2:00Speaker 5: They have told you accountable and they have to do
- 2:02Speaker 5: it with you.
- 2:02Speaker 4: I've got friends that I love that I will help move.
- 2:04Speaker 4: But if somebody invited me over to admin night, that's
- 2:07Speaker 4: a new response. Nobody wants to come talk to you
- 2:10Speaker 4: while you do your.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I like, I heard of that, and I'm like I
- 2:14Speaker 3: desperately need an admin night, but there are no nights.
- 2:17Speaker 3: It's may do it on June or July for an
- 2:20Speaker 3: admin night.
- 2:21Speaker 6: Noah, I am that friend. My mom holds me accountable
- 2:26Speaker 6: for her to get her stuff done, and we call
- 2:29Speaker 6: them at our house bureaucratic Saturdays. And so I'll go
- 2:32Speaker 6: over and her best friend will come over, and my
- 2:33Speaker 6: best friend will come over and we'll just do all
- 2:35Speaker 6: this stuff we need to do on the computer, pay bills,
- 2:37Speaker 6: crunch numbers, whatever it is. And then it usually turns
- 2:41Speaker 6: into us like hanging out watching a movie, drinking. It's fun.
- 2:44Speaker 6: I love bureaucratic Saturday.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I am all wait, wait, so Kyle, you can't do
- 2:53Speaker 1: it because you go one hundred miles an hour with kids.
- 2:56Speaker 2: It's like May.
- 2:56Speaker 3: It's all the end of the year, like all the
- 2:59Speaker 3: sports are wrapping up, so you've got all the little tournaments,
- 3:01Speaker 3: and you've got the end of your parties, you've got
- 3:04Speaker 3: the graduation that like.
- 3:06Speaker 1: A cleaning your garage.
