  Speaker 1: to go to God in prayer. And as always, I

  Speaker 1: invite you to join me in prayer. You know, I

  Speaker 1: think about sometimes I'm so in God's way, I'm praying

  Speaker 1: about a thing, I'm lifting somebody up in prayer, but
• 0:18
  Speaker 1: then I want to be God in their lives or
• 0:20
  Speaker 1: I want to step in and fix it. So today

  Speaker 1: I'm praying that we just going to step aside and
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: trust God, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ,

  Speaker 1: we bow before you today with hearts that are burden
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: yet open to your will. Too often, God, if we'll
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: be honest, we try to carry Well's never meant for
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: our shoulders. We wrestle with circumstances beyond our control. We
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: replace situations in our mind, trying to find answers, trying
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: to fix what only you can fix. But today, Father,

  Speaker 1: we come and we lay it all down. Your word
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts,

  Speaker 1: and to lean not on our own understanding, but in
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: all our ways acknowledge You, and You will direct our paths.

  Speaker 1: So Father, we choose today to step aside. We choose
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: today to surrender. We choose today to trust you even
• 1:18
  Speaker 1: when the road feels uncertain, even when the answers are
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: not clear, even when our hearts long for resolution. God,
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: you are suffering. You see the beginning of the thing
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: before it even starts, and you also see the end.

  Speaker 1: You know what we cannot see, and you already have
• 1:38
  Speaker 1: a plan prepared for the way before us. Teach us, Lord,
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: not to fight for control, but to rest in your
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: perfect plan. Calm the anxieties that rise within us. Replace
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: our worry with worship and our fear with faith. Let
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: us find peace and knowing that You are working all.

  Speaker 2: Things together for our good, even when it doesn't feel

  Speaker 2: good in the moment. Father, we confess our tendency to

  Speaker 2: hold on to worry, to try and manage the outcomes
• 2:11
  Speaker 2: of our lives. But today we say, not our will,
• 2:16
  Speaker 2: but yours be doing.

  Speaker 1: God. We lay down every burden, every relationship, every financial struggle,

  Speaker 1: every health concern, every unanswered prayer. We put it all

  Speaker 1: in your capable hands, knowing God that you care for

  Speaker 1: us with an everlasting love. Lord, help us to trust
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: your time, for you never lived. God, help us to
• 2:39
  Speaker 1: trust your wisdom, for you make no mistakes. Help us
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: to trust your heart, for you are always faithful. And

  Speaker 1: while we wait, God, give us the grace to walk
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: in peace, the patience to endure, and the assurance God
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: that you are with us every step of the way. Lord,

  Speaker 1: we thank your Father for lifting the weight off our shoulders.

  Speaker 1: We thank you for carrying what we cannot carry, and

  Speaker 1: we thank you for being a God who never fails.

  Speaker 1: Today and every day, God, we choose to step aside,

  Speaker 1: to let you lead, and to rest in the safety

  Speaker 1: of your hands.
