- 0:02Happy Tuesday morning, everybody.
- 0:05There's John Scintoni. John, what time is it?
- 0:117 something, 40 AM. 7:40 AM. We're downtown Athens, Greece.
- 0:17This is my monologue. There are the police right
- 0:20there. And then here is Acropolis.
- 0:25Look at that view, huh? On top of the hill.
- 0:29So today John is taking me. Where, where are we?
- 0:33Where are we going to, buddy? We're going to Delphi.
- 0:36Delph, what is that? It's it's another set of ruins
- 0:39way out. In the country, way down Yonder
- 0:41in a Chattahoochee, who's this girl right here?
- 0:44You know her, this girl right here.
- 0:49All right, everybody. So once again, I've introduced
- 0:53John 100 times. And while the cabbie was
- 0:56punching his cab. What's going on here?
- 0:59Hey, you're looking live. You're downtown's Athens,
- 1:03Greece. You're looking live.
- 1:04And there's Acropolis. OK, So John Scotoni.
- 1:09I met John about 10 years ago. He's a dear friend of mine.
- 1:13And how come? How come our you your girlfriend
- 1:18Terry did? Did she get kicked off this trip
- 1:21or what? She was nervous.
- 1:25Terry, we love you so much. It kind of started with my wife
- 1:29Kim going. I am not going out of the
- 1:30country and me and John started this a while back, but we've
- 1:34been traveling how many years we've been He's a great pilot.
- 1:39Hey, is it can I brag on you? John is a teacher besides a
- 1:46world class pilot. He owns an SR22.
- 1:50Tell me about that airplane. It's a.
- 1:53Time Machine we'll also play in him and I fly in yeah 2019
- 1:58Sirius SR22 and it takes me to every.
- 2:01State in great avionics and when people want to go, what kind of
- 2:06airplane is that? I'm like, it's the one with the
- 2:07parachute in case things get in trouble.
- 2:10You set a record, a Guinness Book World Record.
- 2:14You landed in how many states I. Landed.
- 2:17I landed the air. Not that airplane.
- 2:18A different one in all 48 states, The entire country,
- 2:22every state in the country. And 30. 8 hours and 13 minutes.
- 2:26And it's recorded by the Guinness Book of World Record.
- 2:29Or go on YouTube and punch in. John Scotone sets world record
- 2:35on WGNWGN. Fastest time ever recorded by
- 2:41any machine to land to to travel to all 48 states.
- 2:45Thank you, John. I just wanted to give everybody
- 2:47an inside look at who you really are.
- 2:49A lot of people go, who the Hell's that guy?
- 2:51But John also handles my money. You know, sometimes you all want
- 2:57to know about money, you know? So I'm embarrassed right now.
- 3:00Even saying that is because Mama taught me never talk about money
- 3:04and religion. But there you go.
- 3:05There's a little bit more about who John Scootoni is.
- 3:08He's a dear friend of mine. OK Should we keep walking?
- 3:11All right, We're going to start coffee with Kenny.
- 3:15Here's the headlines, everybody. Is Toyota the one to beat in
- 3:20NASCAR? Well, I got a lot to say about
- 3:23Toyota. As you all know, John, you just
- 3:26leave me and I'll follow you. I'm following you.
- 3:30So Toyota sponsored me for seven years.
- 3:33So that's the disclaimer. But they don't sponsor me
- 3:35anymore. But you know, as they say, Ray
- 3:39Charles can see what's happening right now.
- 3:44Yesterday it was World News at Toyota.
- 3:48They invested $1 billion into Kentucky and Indiana.
- 3:54And I'm going to tell you what, I went to the Corolla plant down
- 3:57there in Blue Mound, Mississippi.
- 3:59And those Americans, they love working for Toyota because they
- 4:06do everything so perfectly. I wished that we could get
- 4:11people to brag on Ford and Chevy like we do about Toyota, but it
- 4:16just seems like Toyota just does everything right.
- 4:19One thing I do like about Toyota is that Osaka Toyota, I guess
- 4:25you could say he owns Toyota or he's the head cheese.
- 4:28Osaka Toyota. He's a racer himself.
- 4:30So kind of adds that vibe that, you know, Toyota is a racing
- 4:36manufacturer because Osaka, he he's a racer, you know, I don't
- 4:42know anybody, you know, the only names I remember was Chevrolet
- 4:45were like Herb Fishel. And Herb is a good guy, but he
- 4:48he was just a, you know, he just repped.
- 4:51He didn't race in Osaka. I mean, he's like a racer.
- 4:54He's got a fire suit on. So the other reason Toyota's
- 4:59head and heels above Ford and Chevy is because they got a
- 5:06program to grow these kids. You just saw what happened, you
- 5:09know, Harvick, Kevin Harvick. Harvick was Chevrolet, then he
- 5:25went to Ford and now he's with Toyota and Harvick came out and
- 5:30he said, listen, Toyota's got the best game in town right now.
- 5:34You know, now I know Paul Doshall at Toyota very well,
- 5:40good friend of mine. They just are racers.
- 5:46That's all there is to it. I think the headline should be
- 5:49Toyota executives are racers, and that's the reason right now
- 5:53they're doing so well. But like anything, when you
- 5:56start getting your ass whipped, you're going to get up on the
- 5:59wheel and you're going to start figuring, well, this is clean.
- 6:02Look at this. It kind of looks a little oh,
- 6:06there's cats right there. Them cats are everywhere.
- 6:09There's another one over there. Pigeon ain't afraid.
- 6:13Look how clean everything is. Oh, look at that.
- 6:16Cats all up in there. OK, I'm just a little, it looks
- 6:22gnarly, but it's very clean. Look at this.
- 6:31So anyway, I just, I know my redneck friends out there,
- 6:35they're like, man, Toyota, they're from Japan.
- 6:37And you know that. Listen, I just call it the way I
- 6:41see it. But I'm just explaining to you
- 6:43why Toyota is winning right now because their culture is racing
- 6:50and they really understand business.
- 6:53You can go as deep as when COVID happened.
- 6:59Some automakers had to get bailed out and some didn't.
- 7:04Which ones had to get bailed out?
- 7:05Respond right here. So you look at Tyler Reddick,
- 7:11what he's doing right now, and some people are just tore up.
- 7:15How the hell can Tyler Reddick just on a roll?
- 7:19He's only the third driver. Oh, look here.
- 7:22Damn, I'm getting this is ruins. Look at this.
- 7:28How old you think that is, John? You know, at least 50.
- 7:32Years. Old, at least 50.
- 7:35That's some. That's something Schrader would
- 7:38say. All my dirt racing buddies are
- 7:40like, oh, I don't care about that old.
- 7:42I'm like, good, stay home. Bunch of rednecks.
- 7:46Look at there, you know, that's one this is like when you go to
- 7:50Rome, they're always unearthing things.
- 7:53It's amazing that dirt over 3000 years dirt can get like 100 feet
- 7:58tall and things will be poking up out of the ground and they
- 8:01start unearthing it. OK, so in ending Toyota's got
- 8:10their together and you're we're just you are just going to have
- 8:13to get over it. Have a great Tuesday, everybody.
