- 0:13SPEAKER_02: And I'm Jeff.
- 0:14SPEAKER_02: Happy New Year, Steve.
- 0:16SPEAKER_02: Happy New Year, Jeff.
- 0:17SPEAKER_02: You know, this is not only another exciting episode.
- 0:20SPEAKER_02: This, I think this is perhaps the most exciting episode of the Steve and Jeff Experience Podcast.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: It is the last exciting experience of 2022.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Although it could be the first one of 2023, depending on when this drops.
- 0:35SPEAKER_02: But yes, but yes, because there is a lag.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Did you uh did you have a good Christmas?
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: I did.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: I did.
- 0:43SPEAKER_02: I it was wonderful.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: Mom and I got together and we we did we did a mac and cheese thing, you know.
- 0:49SPEAKER_02: We always uh kind of do a mac and cheese under the Christmas tree, and it was it was great.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: It was great.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: Now she she was a little nauseous still from the pregnancy, but you know, she she soldiered through it.
- 0:59SPEAKER_02: She she wound up being okay, okay, you know, and I think for uh at end of the year, you know, it's just a time when you you get together with people and you start thinking about hey, where do I want to be a year from now?
- 1:11SPEAKER_02: Where was I a year ago?
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: What do I want to be in another year?
- 1:15SPEAKER_02: You know, and it's and that's why I'm so excited about this show, Jeff.
- 1:18SPEAKER_02: Well, you know what we did, right?
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Uh we did another Hanukkah show.
- 1:23SPEAKER_02: Well, well, yeah, that's gonna drop.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: You know, that might be next Hanukkah that drops it there's a lag, you know, there's that lag, but but but I digress, but but you know, Jeff, remember we we we ask people, we ask our listeners.
- 1:35SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh, oh, yes, I do remember millions of listeners to say what's your new year's resolution because everybody's making these New Year's resolutions now, and everybody's saying, What are your new year's resolutions for this year?
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: And I'm just so excited to really get in touch with the people, with the listeners, with the people who make it happen, with the with the population, with the citizens.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: And and you know, Steve, it's amazing how powerful making a a pledge or a commitment to um, you know, to a resolution for the following year, how often that changes people's lives.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: Oh yes, boy, you make that resolution and it's in it's cast in iron.
- 2:15SPEAKER_02: Oh yes, it happens.
- 2:16SPEAKER_02: It happens, it completely happens.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: Got some great comments from the listeners here, but maybe what maybe let's let's think about your resolutions from last year just to show how how important and how certain these things are to happen once you make that resolution.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: Do you remember your resolutions from last year, Jeff?
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: I do.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: That's a little bit of a mixed bag.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: You know, some of them came true, some didn't.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: I have three uh top of mind.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: I I actually made about 40 of them, but I don't really remember the other 37.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: I don't think I really see you can only focus on three things.
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: The first one was let me just take a look, because I think I have my notes here.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Oh, that I wanted to have a new nose.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: Look, that happened a new nose.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: That happened.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: Look at that, see, written in stone.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, I think at the time I was thinking more that it would be a male nose and probably not somebody from Friends, but hey, it's worked out great.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: I'm hoping that I'm kind of giving away a little bit on next year, but I'm hoping that I can get the tweaks figured out, you know, try to get both nostrils working uh the coming year.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: But that's not a resolution as much as just you know some kind of maintenance.
- 3:26SPEAKER_02: That's just that's just like self-help, that's self-improvement.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: That's self-tweaking.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 3:31SPEAKER_02: That's self-abuse.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: No, wait, that's something else.
- 3:34SPEAKER_02: But no, I but and let me see.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Number two, oh, number two was that I wanted to have the number one podcast in America.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: Check.
- 3:44SPEAKER_02: Here we are.
- 3:45SPEAKER_02: Yes, we are on the number one podcast in America and soon in the world.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Unbelievable.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: And we didn't even start this thing until halfway through the year.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: So can you imagine?
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: Probably gonna be even greater.
- 4:01SPEAKER_02: Oh, if we'd been going since January, can you imagine?
- 4:04SPEAKER_02: Oh my goodness, can you imagine where we'd be?
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh, it's just so exciting looking in next year, Jeff.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: What was your third?
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: You had three, right?
- 4:11SPEAKER_02: Do you remember?
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: My third one, well, my third one.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: I sometimes you reach for the stars, sometimes it it doesn't happen.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: You know, and in this one, it was that I need to really focus on cutting my toenails on a regular basis.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Steve, there it's it's horrible.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: I literally go through pairs of shoes and socks because my toenail sticks out so much, and I I just forget to cut it, and then after a period of time, it's I don't want to give you the inside baseball on it, but basically at one point it becomes a huge job at some point.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: It's like you need an estimate, you know, it's like big.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: And so, yeah, it's something I I really need to work on.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: What about you?
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Did you uh do you remember any of the uh resolutions that that you made last year?
- 4:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, I sure do.
- 4:58SPEAKER_02: And just to show you, just to show you how cast in stone or iron or something permanent these are, let me tell you what mine were last.
- 5:06SPEAKER_02: Right, number one resolution get closer with my mom.
- 5:10SPEAKER_02: Bingo, check happened.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, mom and I are doing great now.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: You know, Steve, I bet that's on a lot of guys' list.
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: I it is, I'll tell you, if our if that man child guessed, we had yeah, I know.
- 5:22SPEAKER_02: Well, and he had check for him too, apparently.
- 5:25SPEAKER_02: Check for him, absolutely.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: Oh, number two, number two, get back together with an ex-girlfriend.
- 5:32SPEAKER_02: Now, I wasn't real specific because I at the time I made the resolution, I you know, I couldn't like yeah, I don't know, remember any girlfriends, but I found one and and look, and Meg, beautiful Meg from Florida.
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: So check.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then my I I wonder if you're on her list.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: Well, I you know, I think I we we sent her a request for a resolution, so that's right.
- 5:58SPEAKER_02: We'll find out, maybe we'll find out here, you know.
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: And then and then my third was to have the number one podcast in the world, and we're so close, so close, and psychic, you know, like we're always on the same page, Steve.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: It's like it's like we have our periods together or something.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: We do sound like amazing.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: We do.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: Well, we well, we do.
- 6:19SPEAKER_02: I by the way, you have uh no, yeah.
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: Well, well, we'll talk later, but uh, but Jeff, let's let's go to the mailbag here, which you know, it's not really a mailbag per se, it's a screen, but you know, come on, we can have like those old time shows here.
- 6:32SPEAKER_02: I'll make some noise, and we'll we'll go into the mailbag here.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Would you like me to uh kick it off with the first one?
- 6:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, why don't you take the first one, Jeff?
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: This one is from Stephanie from Peoria Peoria, Illinois.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: That was Peoria town, I think, wasn't it?
- 6:47SPEAKER_02: I'll tell you, you just can't keep those Peorians down, let me tell you.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: And she says, Hi, Steve and Jeff.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: Just love your show.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: Also, being from the same town as Steve, I want you to know that Steve is a rock star in Peoria.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: That's nice.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and you know, they haven't had a rock star since REO Speedwagon or Dan Fogelberg.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: Dan Fogelberg, absolutely.
- 7:12SPEAKER_02: Um they need a rock star.
- 7:14SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Stephanie.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: She says, My New Year's resolution is to give up smoking completely.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Ah that's a good idea.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, smoking's a bad habit, it's not healthy for you.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: That was my resolution from last year as well, and I've made some progress.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: I now only smoke after sex.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: So at this point, I'm down to about a pack a day.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: Well, you just can't keep those Peorias, you can't keep those Peorias down, let me tell you.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: Uh I'm hoping to give it up completely in 2023.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Smoking, not sex.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: Oh, well, yeah.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: No, I no, hey, uh, Steph, we knew.
- 7:53SPEAKER_02: We knew.
- 7:53SPEAKER_02: Come on, you know.
- 7:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: From Peoria.
- 7:56SPEAKER_02: You're from Peoria.
- 7:57SPEAKER_02: I know I knew you meant smoking.
- 7:58SPEAKER_02: I mean, come on, you know.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: But uh, I I think that's wonderful.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: There's an example of progress of you you set a goal and then you end up, you know, meeting it or coming close to meeting.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: Coming very close.
- 8:10SPEAKER_02: She made some she made some excellent progress.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: I think she's on the right track.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: Oh, and you're good job, Stephanie.
- 8:16SPEAKER_02: Here's here here's an here's another one here.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: This comes from a uh Jeffrey D in uh Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: Okay, great.
- 8:25SPEAKER_02: Hey, Steve and Jeff, love your show.
- 8:27SPEAKER_02: Can't get enough of you.
- 8:29SPEAKER_02: You know, so many people say that.
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: What I especially love about your podcast is that it's always in good taste.
- 8:35SPEAKER_02: Uh you know, we try.
- 8:37SPEAKER_02: It is, it is.
- 8:38SPEAKER_02: We we try to set a high level here.
- 8:40SPEAKER_02: Do you ever make special appearances?
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, that's something, Steve, we ought to think about doing in general.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: I don't know what Jeff has in mind, Jeffrey has in mind.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: I hope it's a pay.
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: Do they pay?
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: Well, I think we should.
- 8:52SPEAKER_02: I think but okay, but I digress.
- 8:54SPEAKER_02: Uh, anyways, my new year's resolution has to do with my eating habits.
- 8:58SPEAKER_02: Well, that's that's a good thing to correct.
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: I really feel like I eat too much meat.
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: I know it's not healthy for me, especially if I want to stay active.
- 9:06SPEAKER_02: See, this is uh we had the smoking, and now we've got uh dietary because this people are thinking about their health.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: That's good, that's good.
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: I'm thinking of being a vegetarian, but at this point, I'm concerned I would really miss the taste and texture.
- 9:19SPEAKER_02: Well, you know, Jeffrey, I think you're you're right to be concerned about your health, but I kind of do like Stephanie and just uh take it a little bit at a time, take it slowly.
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: You don't want to shock your system too much, you know, maybe cut down on the meat a little.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: And you know, you know, that tofu that they make, uh the fake meat, is it's it's gotten pretty good.
- 9:37SPEAKER_02: You know, you could you could try that, you'd still have the taste and texture and not the meat.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: And and and the other thing about it is you're eating fresh food, so you don't have to refrigerate it or freeze it.
- 9:46SPEAKER_00: And I would imagine, Jeffrey D.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that you're probably freezing a lot of meat.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: And I think it's probably taking up a lot of space.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're freezing a lot.
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: The freezer's gotta be full, so yeah, this is really gonna cut down on your energy bills, too, I bet, right?
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: These are two really sort of typical, would you say, Steve?
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: Cutting down on smoking and eating better.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: Those seem to be I think they're typical.
- 10:16SPEAKER_02: I think they're typical, but I think they're outstanding.
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: I do too.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: I do too.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: Just goes to show, you know, the kinds of people that listen to our podcast are typical and outstanding.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: And outstanding, yes.
- 10:27SPEAKER_02: That's exactly right.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: Uh okay, this is one from Mike from St.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Louis.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: I don't know if we've had anyone from St.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: Louis speaking.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: St.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: Louis.
- 10:34SPEAKER_02: Great city.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: Uh yeah, totally.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: Happy New Year's.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: I'm really looking forward to a great 2023 and of course, many more exciting podcasts from my two favorite hosts.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: You know, I I love our listeners kissing us up to us, you know.
- 10:50SPEAKER_02: I know it's great to have fans in all these cities.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: That is so cool.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: It's unbelievable.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: You know, it really is.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: It's like a cult in uh in a good way, not in a bad way.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: You know, uh, in a good way.
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: Do cults pay?
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: Wait, but I digress.
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: No, go ahead.
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: Go ahead, read it.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: Uh, my New Year's resolution is to work on being a better husband.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Again, something we should all strive to do.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: Um, I guess.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: But anyways, um, although I love my wife, I have strayed at times, and I really need to be more loyal and trust and a trustworthy husband.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you really do.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: Um as a side note, as a side note, I just love the episodes with your mom and ex-girlfriend.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: They sound like a couple of great gals, and I was hoping to get a picture of each of them.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: Uh maybe contact information as well.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: Thanks.
- 11:40SPEAKER_02: Uh you know, Mike.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're they are a couple of great gals.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: There's no doubt about it.
- 11:44SPEAKER_02: I think that's gonna have to be a no, Mike, but good luck with your resolution.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: I I think my mom and Meg, they're kind of taken, you know what I mean?
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: And and Steve, this might be a case where Mike, you know, has some work to do, you know.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: Sounds like he's sounds like he's still a little fixated on uh the female, you know, persuasion.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: So I I think so.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: Good luck with that, Mike.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: I know you had some demons and you worked them out, but you're not gonna work them out with Steve's mom and and oh no, no.
- 12:13SPEAKER_02: Take the Bush brewery tour in St.
- 12:15SPEAKER_02: Louis, just you know, yeah, no, no, do something else.
- 12:18SPEAKER_02: But uh oh, oh, here's here's one from somebody we both know.
- 12:22SPEAKER_02: Oh, look at this is hi Steve and Jeff.
- 12:25SPEAKER_02: This is Dr.
- 12:25SPEAKER_02: Donna Fields, former psychologist for both of you, although not at the same time.
- 12:31SPEAKER_02: Yes, well, that's yeah.
- 12:32SPEAKER_02: I I want to thank you both for showing me how painful a career in psychology really is, and starting me on my new path.
- 12:40SPEAKER_02: Well, I you know, I see sometimes we don't even know the good we're doing.
- 12:44SPEAKER_02: Look at the favor we did her, and we didn't really set out to show her that it was a painful career.
- 12:48SPEAKER_02: We just, you know, showed up and she realized.
- 12:51SPEAKER_02: And uh just it it think about that, those those unintentional gifts that you're giving.
- 12:56SPEAKER_02: It's so nice.
- 12:56SPEAKER_02: Uh but I digress.
- 12:58SPEAKER_02: Having said that, I am fine if we never see each other again.
- 13:01SPEAKER_02: Well, doctor, that's that's a little extreme.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: But oh, but okay.
- 13:05SPEAKER_02: Uh my new year's resolution is to follow my new path and work in an environment where I deal with more honest people than you, and I guess some of my other patients.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: Oh, well, that's that's nice.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: Right after the first, I start my new career as a corrections officer at Stateville.
- 13:20SPEAKER_02: If you know of any nice apartments in Joliet, I would like to hear that and really nothing else from you.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: Well, uh we're very popular in Statesville.
- 13:29SPEAKER_02: We are, we have a lot of listeners there.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: Yes, connection.
- 13:32SPEAKER_02: You know what?
- 13:32SPEAKER_02: She's gonna hear us because if she's working at Statesville, they're gonna be listening to our podcast.
- 13:38SPEAKER_02: And uh you're you know, your dad, well, your dad's your dad's roaming around free now.
- 13:41SPEAKER_02: He's I think he's on the lamb, but he might be back at Stateville pretty soon.
- 13:45SPEAKER_02: You're right.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think that's a great idea.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: You know, I don't know, are they still doing conjugal visits?
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: Uh you know, I sound like Mike.
- 13:53SPEAKER_02: Sorry, I did want to go there, but yeah, maybe Mike, let's ask Mike.
- 13:57SPEAKER_02: Mike knows about that.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I bet Mike does.
- 13:59SPEAKER_02: You know, and I'm I I'm glad that she's finally in a field where she's gonna meet some really nice people.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: And good people, nothing but good people in prison.
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: Good deal.
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: Better than us, you know?
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, totally.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: You know, because they've made mistakes and they're accountable for them.
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: I'd like to hear some of their New Year's resolutions.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: I bet they're really good and I bet they are kind of wholesome too.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: Um let's see.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: Okay, here's one from Constance.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: Do you remember her?
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: She was our real estate uh person that we interviewed.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: I think she was selling plots.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: She was selling meth, I think.
- 14:30SPEAKER_02: Oh, she selling real estate and meth.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: I think she did that on the side, yeah.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, in the front.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: Um, but um, so it says, uh, hey Steve and Jeff, it's Constance, your real estate guru.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: That's what she was.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: It was uh thanks for letting me on the show as a result.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: I was able to sell every plot of land at the cemetery.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: And you know, that's something.
- 14:50SPEAKER_02: So I guess something.
- 14:52SPEAKER_02: I guess my option expired.
- 14:54SPEAKER_02: Oh well.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:56SPEAKER_02: We have to get the next cemetery then.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it sounds like she may have an opportunity for you, though, here, Steve.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: Um my New Year's resolution is to broaden my range, so to speak, and really try some new creative ventures.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: And to start, I'm gonna start selling land in Ukraine.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: Really good idea.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: She's gonna go worldwide.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: You would be surprised how cheap a plot of land is there, and much of the foundation hole has already been dug.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, if someone can sell that, it would be Constance.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: Oh, absolutely, and that's great to eliminate the middleman that way.
- 15:32SPEAKER_02: I just, you know, it's already it's already in in process in the works.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: Gosh, I that is so nice.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: And look, look at the favor we've done for her, too.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: That's just so nice.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's great.
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: Oh, here's here's one.
- 15:43SPEAKER_02: This is from uh Dave from Ohio.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I wonder where in Ohio.
- 15:48SPEAKER_02: It doesn't say, right?
- 15:49SPEAKER_02: I I really like your show, it's very creative and edgy.
- 15:53SPEAKER_02: I'm wondering if you guys are Jewish.
- 15:55SPEAKER_02: Not that there's anything wrong with that, uh, it's just that I'm seeing a whole lot of Jewish podcasts lately.
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: I mean a lot of Jewish podcasts, including some guy who writes about being a Jewish Uber driver.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: Uh sounds like he's a fan.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: That sounds familiar.
- 16:09SPEAKER_02: I think I think okay, I think he's a I think he's a fan.
- 16:12SPEAKER_02: As for my New Year's resolution, I think I'm going to focus my energy on bringing people together instead of tearing them apart.
- 16:19SPEAKER_02: In other words, to stop seeing people as Jewish or transgenders, but just as powerful people who could destroy a guy's career.
- 16:27SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 16:28SPEAKER_02: There's an ad to some real enlightenment, Dave.
- 16:31SPEAKER_02: Dave, I you know, gotta hand it to you.
- 16:33SPEAKER_02: That is that's that's great.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: That's great.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it's it's nice that he understands his faults and is is working on being a better person.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: And uh just for the record, yeah, I am Jewish, Steve.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: I don't think you are, but you know, but we play one on the podcast.
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: We we so yeah, I I have played Jews, yes.
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: I you know, yeah, sure.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: Excellent.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: Oh, oh, here's one you should know this person because she's your paper girl.
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: Oh yes, Marjorie, yeah.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Marjorie Marshall May Mayflower.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: Hi, Steve and Jeff.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: I can't tell you how being on the show has changed my life.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: Wonderful.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: All the boys thinks I'm a porn star, which of course is short for podcast star.
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: You know, I've I've heard that.
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: I've heard that.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: I I have heard that.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: I I don't know if the spelling's quite right on that, but she's 13.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: So, you know, what do you what do you expect?
- 17:25SPEAKER_02: And you know, who knows what the kids call it these days?
- 17:27SPEAKER_02: I I don't know, you know.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, uh, anyways, my New Year's resolution is to stop cursing so darn much.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: Oops, there I go again.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: Is she not the most adorable?
- 17:37SPEAKER_02: Oh, she is so great.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: She's just fucking amazing.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: I mean, I should have given her a Christmas present this year, you know.
- 17:43SPEAKER_02: I should have, you know, paper girl and all that.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: I really should have.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: Uh my mom says that I curse like a sailor or a marine, but I've never met one before, so I'll just have to take her word for it.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I don't really know any Marines or sailors myself.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Um I don't know if they really do a lot of swearing.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: Do you see?
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: I I used to date a m a Marine.
- 18:06SPEAKER_02: It was Marine uh Maureen Jones, and uh she's idiot.
- 18:13SPEAKER_02: My goodness, they oh my gosh, yes, yes.
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so uh yeah, good luck, and you know, keep flipping those papers because oh yeah.
- 18:22SPEAKER_02: Oh, she's got such a great wrist, yeah.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Must be tough though, right now, with the weather being so cold.
- 18:27SPEAKER_02: And you know, she's out there every day, though.
- 18:30SPEAKER_02: Uh she's doing the job, doing the job for all of us, you know.
- 18:34SPEAKER_02: You just gotta hand it to her.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh, oh, oh you should take this.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: This is this is personal.
- 18:39SPEAKER_02: Look who's next here.
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: Look who I should step back and just let you take over.
- 18:44SPEAKER_02: Uh, it says, Hi, Steve and Jeff.
- 18:46SPEAKER_02: This is Steve's mother.
- 18:48SPEAKER_02: Oh, mom, mom's the greatest.
- 18:50SPEAKER_02: And she, Stevie and Jeff.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: Steve just called me Stevie, you know.
- 18:54SPEAKER_02: Stevie and Jeff, I was waiting for your call to invite me on this week's show.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: All my friends say I'm the best part, and that otherwise the two of you have no talent.
- 19:04SPEAKER_02: Uh, such a kidder.
- 19:06SPEAKER_02: Oh, gosh, you know, what a kidder.
- 19:08SPEAKER_02: I edgy, edgy.
- 19:09SPEAKER_02: I I haven't heard her friend say that.
- 19:11SPEAKER_02: I but but yeah, but I digress.
- 19:14SPEAKER_02: Was it because I was smoking in the studio?
- 19:16SPEAKER_02: No, mom, you can smoke in the studio anytime.
- 19:19SPEAKER_02: I don't care.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: Eccentric Lady Land Studios.
- 19:21SPEAKER_02: You know what?
- 19:21SPEAKER_02: They got air vents, you know, they got windows, they'll open them.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, don't worry.
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: As far as my New Year's resolution, I'm going to give up getting pregnant.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: I gotta admit, I was a little surprised when I heard that one myself.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: But yeah, although she's good at it.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: You know, she handles it like a pro, I'll tell you.
- 19:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she has a lot of experience, right?
- 19:41SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 19:42SPEAKER_02: I had I had forgotten what a pain this is.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: And once I dropped this one out, that's the end of it.
- 19:48SPEAKER_02: Let's face it, an 80-year-old woman's body just isn't made to have children.
- 19:52SPEAKER_02: Well, mom, you know, you're always gonna have one child at least.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: And if there's one 80-year-old body that can handle having a pregnancy, it would be her.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: It would be her.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's it's the ultimate compliment.
- 20:04SPEAKER_02: And she she in theory also has my sister, but the sister's adopted, so I don't know if I really want to count her, you know.
- 20:11SPEAKER_02: But but uh, mom, don't worry, you'll always have at least me.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: I understand, yeah.
- 20:16SPEAKER_02: Because I'm gonna be over for dinner.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: In fact, I'm going over for dinner later, mom, if you're listening.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: So get it ready.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: That's nice.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: Light them up, light them up, mom.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she will be over.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we'll be smoking, I'm sure.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: The next one, I don't know.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: Do we want to pause here for a second or should we keep going, Steve?
- 20:34SPEAKER_02: Maybe now would be a good time because you know, Jeff, what would our end of the year show be, our new year's resolution show be without a commercial?
- 20:42SPEAKER_02: And tonight we've got a repeat commercial.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: You know, Christmas just having come the few days ago, you know, a lot of people went to church and I saw this guy, the guy who asked for that church ad that we we've run a couple of times.
- 20:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so I'm an he said, you know, you know, attendance really hasn't gone up.
- 20:57SPEAKER_02: So he's he was a little concerned about that.
- 20:59SPEAKER_02: He said, you know, so I I kind of did what really advertisers have done throughout time, and and it it's really always worked.
- 21:06SPEAKER_02: I said, Look, if it's not working, you just need to do more of it.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 21:09SPEAKER_02: And you know, so I just so he said, Yeah, let's let's do more of it then.
- 21:13SPEAKER_02: So he said, let's let's run that church yet again.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: So hey Jeff, if if you're ready, let's let's go to commercial, right?
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: Watch the holy effects of the country get together for a month.
- 22:15SPEAKER_02: Well, Jeff, you know that commercial, just like every time I listen to it, makes me wish I went to church more often.
- 22:21SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: I do, completely.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: It's one of my favorite commercials.
- 22:25SPEAKER_02: I'll tell you, it really just does something to me.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: Combining those great drag racing commercials of our childhood and religious observances, I think it's it's a match that I'm surprised no one's ever made before.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: I know Dave was interested whether you know any of either of us were Jewish.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: And after that commercial, I I'm not sure that I want to be Jewish anymore.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: Well, there you go.
- 22:45SPEAKER_02: See, Dave.
- 22:47SPEAKER_02: See how easy it is, Dave?
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: Look at this.
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: It doesn't have to be hard.
- 22:50SPEAKER_02: Look at this.
- 22:50SPEAKER_02: Everybody's friends now.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: Look at this.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Should we move on to the next one?
- 22:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: This one is from Dr.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, Xenia Goldfarb.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: Uh, you remember her.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: Uh oh, yes.
- 23:03SPEAKER_02: My neighbor.
- 23:04SPEAKER_02: Yes, the geneticist.
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: Steve and Jeff, but especially Steve.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: I don't regret being on your show.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: Nobody does.
- 23:11SPEAKER_02: No, who why would you?
- 23:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 23:13SPEAKER_02: We made you famous.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: But I'm telling you, Steve, I see you watching me in the backyard, and if you don't stop, I'm gonna call the cops.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: You know, it just goes to show that paranoia is not limited to the mentally insane.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: No, you know, you can be sometimes people just think that they're always being watched.
- 23:34SPEAKER_02: You know, you could be a PhD and still be paranoid.
- 23:37SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: You prove to me every day that I was right, humanity was a mistake, and now she and she was she always the senior uh geneticist for uh narclone uh pharmaceuticals.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: Isn't that a new job for her?
- 23:54SPEAKER_02: I think that is.
- 23:55SPEAKER_02: I think she was like at a university or something, but narclone pharmaceuticals, I can only imagine what they do.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, totally.
- 24:04SPEAKER_02: I'm getting the picture here.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: But it sounds to me like she's probably hasn't used the product enough.
- 24:11SPEAKER_02: Well, I think maybe because you know, I said they would run outside, they dance around a fire, and then they'd run back in.
- 24:16SPEAKER_02: And I maybe, maybe they're testing out a new product.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: Could be, could be.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: Well, good to hear from you.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: Hang in there, and no, I don't think Steve's watching you.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: I could be, just kidding.
- 24:27SPEAKER_02: Don't imagine and and listen, Dr.
- 24:30SPEAKER_02: Xenia Goldfarb.
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: Uh, yeah, okay.
- 24:33SPEAKER_02: Maybe I'm watching you, but I'm not, I I don't see anything.
- 24:35SPEAKER_02: Okay, why don't you do something interesting?
- 24:37SPEAKER_02: Okay, but but I digress.
- 24:39SPEAKER_02: Let's let's just let's let's move on.
- 24:41SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh, and look, look who the next one's from.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: The other woman in your life.
- 24:45SPEAKER_02: We were just talking about getting back together with an ex, and here she is.
- 24:48SPEAKER_02: It's hi, Steve and Jeff.
- 24:50SPEAKER_02: It's Meg from Florida.
- 24:52SPEAKER_02: I must say I do enjoy some of your podcasts.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: Some okay.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: This is one of those letters wonder which ones.
- 24:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you read the first line, you think I'm getting a feeling for this here.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: Let's see.
- 25:03SPEAKER_02: To be honest, I'm hoping your New Year's resolution will be to get better guests on your show and quit forcing people on that don't want to hear from you again.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: Now, I I I think she's I I think I know where this is coming from.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: I think this is coming from the psychiatrist interview that we had.
- 25:20SPEAKER_00: Do you remember, Steve?
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, we had that issue where she was on and then she became my psychiatrist, and then I think she was pretty upset with us.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: So I think obviously Meg's a big listener of ours, and that this is you know, she's trying to help us out.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: I I appreciate that.
- 25:36SPEAKER_02: I wonder, I wonder if Meg has talked to Dr.
- 25:39SPEAKER_02: Donna Fields because this sounds very much like what Donna Fields said.
- 25:43SPEAKER_02: Anyways, my New Year's resolution is to start a new life that includes a new home, email, telephone number, and if needed, a new name.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 25:54SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 25:55SPEAKER_02: I'm tired of my current life, and I really don't want to have to deal with ex-boyfriends who weren't even my ex-boyfriends.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: So true.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: And she should be focused more on the ex-boyfriends that she is interested in, like you.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: And maybe the other ones.
- 26:11SPEAKER_02: Well, maybe when she says ex-boyfriends who weren't even my ex-boyfriend, maybe she means that I'm not an ex, that I'm like a current.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 26:19SPEAKER_02: I think that's what she means.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: Is that subliminal or like uh Freudian?
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: Or it's something like that, right?
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: Oh Meg it's like you say one thing and you mean another.
- 26:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, Meg, you're you're you're being very coy, but I think I get the message here.
- 26:35SPEAKER_02: We'll uh we'll we'll be in touch.
- 26:37SPEAKER_02: Okay, all right.
- 26:38SPEAKER_02: That's oh man.
- 26:39SPEAKER_02: Good old Meg.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's the best.
- 26:41SPEAKER_02: She is, yeah.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it looks like uh we've got time for maybe one more.
- 26:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we got oh, and and I check out this one.
- 26:50SPEAKER_02: I I think you'll like this one, Jeff.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, Dr.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: Will.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: Yes, I haven't haven't heard from him lately since uh kind of been hydrated.
- 27:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's kind of been missing.
- 27:01SPEAKER_02: Uh I know a lot of people were looking for him, but yeah.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: Uh happy new year's gentlemen.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: Uh, this is uh Dr.
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: Will, uh Steve's plastic surgeon.
- 27:10SPEAKER_00: As you know, I'm currently surgery.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: It was your personal plastic surgeon, sorry.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: I guess protein slip.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: Maybe I'm you're gonna use him next.
- 27:19SPEAKER_02: Maybe I should get some plastic surgery, and maybe that'll make the difference with Meg.
- 27:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: Or maybe Meg can have plastic surgery too.
- 27:28SPEAKER_02: And and look more like my mom.
- 27:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Anyway, but I digress.
- 27:32SPEAKER_02: No, go ahead, go ahead.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: Uh, as you know, I'm currently in an undisclosed location.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: Well, that explains it.
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: Due to a little misunderstanding that the FBI and the AMA have only made worse, Jeff.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: I hope your nose is doing well.
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: And if you're having trouble breathing, which I am, gently pinch your nostrils for three seconds seconds.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: Actually, don't do that.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: Well, I haven't tried yet, so I'm glad you're stopping making it.
- 27:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, three seconds, you could have done it in between before you read that second line.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: It's like I'm not sure the left nostril is completely secure.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: I know I was gonna ask you about that if I could ever find you again, because yeah, I I noticed that one of them doesn't work at all.
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: So you know, I don't know what to do about that.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: Uh, my New Year's resolution is to read up on uh standard of medical care.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: Those do-gooders uh keep yelling at me about oh, and if you can cover my bill at the Red Roof Inn surge center, um I promise to pay you back in some form.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: Got it, Doc.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: I'll I'll make that payment uh as soon as we get done with the podcast.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: Well and good to hear from you.
- 28:42SPEAKER_02: And you know, he keeps the cost down by doing surgery at the Red Roof Inn because you know, these hospitals they're just they'll just rip you off.
- 28:48SPEAKER_02: Red Roof Inn, you get a good deal.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Yes, absolutely.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm I'm just psyched, you know.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: I read I I read these things, Steve, and I just it makes me feel so good that everyone has such a positive attitude and is doing so well.
- 29:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it is, you know, it's just so good to see all the people that our podcast has touched this year and moving into next year.
- 29:10SPEAKER_02: I am just so excited about next year because we're gonna have a lot of these same people back, and yeah, maybe not all of them.
- 29:17SPEAKER_02: Dr.
- 29:17SPEAKER_02: Donnafield sounded pretty, pretty definite, but I would love to have her on as a as a Stateville guard.
- 29:24SPEAKER_02: Wouldn't that be that'd be just a great show, wouldn't it?
- 29:26SPEAKER_02: We could do one live for me, talk to some of our fans there.
- 29:30SPEAKER_02: You know, I I just I think that'd be great, but it's just so good to see these people having such good times in their lives, Jeff.
- 29:37SPEAKER_02: You know, it really is.
- 29:38SPEAKER_02: And just and as a result of our podcast.
- 29:41SPEAKER_00: And Steve, I want to thank you.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: It's been a wonderful six months.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: Feels like six years.
- 29:46SPEAKER_02: It does, it feels like feels like much longer than six years.
- 29:49SPEAKER_02: Good, but but I you know, of course, we've known each other longer than that.
- 29:52SPEAKER_02: But yes, Jeff, you know, I I want to thank you for joining me in this this little podcast adventure here that has turned into a the biggest, the best podcast in the country.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: Well, I always thought it would happen, and you know, obviously my resolution set that as a goal.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying that's the reason we made it, but both of us did have that on our list.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: And it just goes to show what what you can accomplish when you set your minds to it.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: It's been a great year, and thank you again.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: And I don't know how much time we have left, but I just wanted to tell you happy new year.
- 30:23SPEAKER_02: Happy New Year, Jeff.
- 30:24SPEAKER_02: And you know, we got a couple minutes left.
- 30:26SPEAKER_02: Do you have do you have resolutions for this year?
- 30:29SPEAKER_02: We talked about your last year.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: You know what, Steve?
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm glad you brought that up.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: I do.
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: I have three that uh I'm very excited about.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: They're very challenging.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: Again, the goal is not to set these resolutions so low that they're easy to attain.
- 30:44SPEAKER_00: So here are the three that I have.
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: Uh, number one is to bathe at least twice a week.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: This is something, you know, it wasn't on my list last year, but it was the year before.
- 30:53SPEAKER_00: And it's something that I think I can make a lot of progress on if I really focus on it and you know, kind of go with the smell, you know, the symptoms, the signs.
- 31:02SPEAKER_02: I think that's a positive step.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: Number two, I'd like to grow some hair, Steve.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: I got this nose now, you know, what this nose is missing is hair.
- 31:11SPEAKER_00: And I don't mean hair in the nose, I mean hair on top of my head.
- 31:15SPEAKER_02: If you get Jennifer Aniston's nose, you should have Jennifer Aniston's hair, right?
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: There you go.
- 31:21SPEAKER_02: And then it kind of makes sense.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: And then my third is a familiar one, which is cut my toenails on a regular basis.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: Steve, this is one that I will always strive to attain, one that is is a challenge, probably for many people, but definitely for me.
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: I can't promise anything, but I'm gonna work on it.
- 31:40SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's crazy.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: You know, I do.
- 31:43SPEAKER_02: I do.
- 31:44SPEAKER_02: As I've been thinking about this this year coming forward, I I think the three things that are most important to me in this year coming forward.
- 31:52SPEAKER_02: Number one, I am gonna add more milk to my mac and cheese to make it taste more like moms.
- 31:58SPEAKER_02: Because I, you know, mom's is just so good.
- 32:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm just I'm gonna do that.
- 32:02SPEAKER_02: That's that's number one.
- 32:04SPEAKER_02: Number two, I am gonna listen to more indie music because I think we really should help the small record people, the small music companies, not these big outfits like eccentric Ladyland Studios, you know, they're ripping us off and everybody else, you know.
- 32:20SPEAKER_02: And I listen to more indie music.
- 32:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, any specific Indian music that you're that you're that you like, or oh yeah, raga, sitars, any of the indie indie music is good.
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: Okay, got it.
- 32:31SPEAKER_02: And and and then third, uh, third, I I think I'd I'd maybe like to get back together with an ex.
- 32:39SPEAKER_02: And I uh I may need to find a new ex.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: Uh-huh.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: Or find an old ex, if you know what I mean.
- 32:47SPEAKER_02: Ah, you know, Jeff, I'm from the future.
- 32:50SPEAKER_02: I could I could have an ex that I haven't met yet.
- 32:52SPEAKER_02: Oh, Jeff, it's perfect.
- 32:54SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 32:54SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Jeff.
- 32:55SPEAKER_02: See, resolution done, carved in steel.
- 32:58SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: I don't know about you, Steve, but as soon as we get off this podcast, I'm gonna start working on these uh these resolutions because absolutely, absolutely.
- 33:07SPEAKER_02: And you know, guys, speaking of eccentric Lady Land ripping us off, they're gonna rip us right out of our chairs here in a second.
- 33:12SPEAKER_02: But Jeff, happy new year, and hey, we'll see you guys with uh podcast in 2023.
- 33:18SPEAKER_02: Sounds great.
- 33:19SPEAKER_02: Thanks, Steve.
- 33:20SPEAKER_02: Hey, thanks to everybody.
- 33:21SPEAKER_02: Thanks, everybody.
- 33:22SPEAKER_02: We'll see you.
