- 0:01Hello folks, this is Princess. You are listening to the
- 0:04Millennial Mustard Seed podcast. Thanks for listening.
- 0:07Don't forget to share with your friends.
- 0:11That's tough. We're in a very tough spot.
- 0:13I think that what we're doing right.
- 0:15Now is a great benefit and virtue because it's an end
- 0:19around between this whole corrupt informational system
- 0:23media system. We claim to believe in a God who
- 0:27spoke the universe into existence and literally raised
- 0:30himself from the dead, and yet we are not going to believe that
- 0:34anything else exists in the spirit realm, even though His
- 0:37word tells us that they do. Their bodies weren't permitted
- 0:41to go to sleep like humans do, and they weren't permitted to go
- 0:45to heaven, so they wander the earth.
- 0:49You know, I've seen the eyes turn black to unknown tongues
- 0:52being spoken. These giants would love way up
- 0:56in the Highland, the young Braves.
- 0:58The young men would hide them in the trees and wait for one of
- 1:01these 12 footers to come walking down the bath and they would
- 1:04jump on them and kill them, drag them back to the village and the
- 1:08village would feast on the body freedom.
- 1:15Then people start to get weapons, they start to get
- 1:17armor, they start to build cities, They start to fortify
- 1:19their cities. Now God looks.
- 1:21Down and there's violence everywhere.
- 1:24The battle, this war that we are at, is not against each other,
- 1:28it's against these principalities and these rulers
- 1:30and these archons in the high places.
- 1:32It's really worthwhile to read the Bible yourself.
- 1:35Fear is one of the primary drivers of mind control because
- 1:40we have to take every thought captive and resist fear.
- 1:46You're going to have a testimony that is a justice case against
- 1:52the Kingdom of darkness. None.
- 2:20Welcome back to the Millennial Mustard Seed.
- 2:22This is your host, Rod. I got an awesome episode in
- 2:24store for you guys. I'm joined by Doctor Natalie
- 2:28Atwell. We have a fascinating
- 2:30conversation, mental health warriors that we literally get
- 2:36into topics like mental health versus spiritual warfare, how to
- 2:39distinguish what's 1 you might be facing out there as a
- 2:42listener, Dr. Natalie share some supernatural encounters that she
- 2:46had. We're exposing some of these
- 2:48levels, these components of darkness that have been
- 2:51operating in the the vague, kind of cloudy and misunderstood
- 2:57realm of mental health. Everybody knows somebody who's
- 3:00dealing with some mental health issues and we need to have
- 3:04better answers, better programs and ways of carrying out
- 3:08faith-based instruction as well as ministry that honors the Word
- 3:12of God first and foremost. And that's what you're going to
- 3:14find a level entry into with this interview.
- 3:17She's going to be back in the future and we're going to dive
- 3:19into some fringy topics and just go deep down the rabbit trail
- 3:23with a biblical filter to compartmentalize some of this
- 3:27other information that's out there.
- 3:29But for now, this is the introduction and we're warming
- 3:32up getting you guys. Familiar with what it is that
- 3:34she. And her team do Doctor Natalie's
- 3:37practice is in South Carolina. She has about 15 people working
- 3:42in her practice, but they've done something special.
- 3:45Not not all of you can get to South Carolina if you would like
- 3:48some special training. But what Doctor Natalie and her
- 3:51team have done is created a mental warrior course landing
- 3:55page exclusively for the listeners here on the Millennium
- 3:59Mustard C podcast. This immediately takes money
- 4:02right off of the top of the course.
- 4:03You guys get exclusive discounts.
- 4:05This is for my people out there that really want to go deeper.
- 4:09They want to get the certification, the training and
- 4:12understand how to maneuver in a way that literally the world is
- 4:16lacking. This information.
- 4:17We got practitioners out there that have a good heart.
- 4:20I believe they want to do the right thing, but the systems
- 4:23that are in play have not not equipped us that way.
- 4:27This is what Doctor Natalie is offering.
- 4:29I know that even Doctor Laura Sanger has worked with her
- 4:32behind the scenes to review and even contribute to the academic
- 4:37material that is being offered in her practice at this point in
- 4:41time, so take advantage of that. You'll also find social links
- 4:45for Doctor Natalie. You guys can check out what she
- 4:47did she is doing on Instagram, Facebook, stuff like that.
- 4:50But yeah, I highly recommend you guys click on that link for the
- 4:53Mental Warrior Course landing page.
- 4:56Take advantage of it. She's giving a discount.
- 4:58I believe in what Doctor Natalie is doing and I want to see more
- 5:02practitioners rise up creating the army of volunteers ready to
- 5:07stand, doing all that we can to stand and give an answer for our
- 5:11faith. I need you guys to like, share,
- 5:16subscribe, write me that five star written review on Apple
- 5:20podcast. Whatever podcast catcher you're
- 5:21listening on. If you have the ability to leave
- 5:24me a 5 star review, please do that.
- 5:26It really helps. Links always in the details of
- 5:29the show notes. You guys can find a copy of my
- 5:31book. The words are Salt.
- 5:32I want to give a shout out and thank everybody who has donated
- 5:35for studio equipment. You guys are amazing.
- 5:39I plan on doing an episode in the near future where I'm going
- 5:42to read some of your emails, some of your reviews, messages
- 5:46that I've gotten from listeners all around the world at this
- 5:48point in time. But just thank you guys for
- 5:51praying for me, lifting us up. And to each one of you who
- 5:54donated, I just pray blessings and favor on your life and on
- 5:58your finances. If you have not yet donated,
- 6:01please humbly consider that there's always needs to be met.
- 6:05There's a growing request for me to travel even into different
- 6:10states at this point in time. And believe it or not, the
- 6:12requests are going far and wide. So if you guys believe in this
- 6:15ministry, you want to plant seeds, you want to partner with
- 6:18me, you can reach out to me. And I think that's plenty of
- 6:21announcements to catch you guys up a little bit with what's
- 6:24going on behind the scenes and. I think it's about time to jump
- 6:29into this episode. I'm ready.
- 6:32Are you guys ready? Let's go.
- 6:49Well, hello, I'm Doctor Natalie Atwell, and I'm so excited to be
- 6:52on the Millennial Mustard Seed podcast today.
- 6:55I have a doctorate in family care and counseling from Liberty
- 6:58University. I run a private counseling
- 7:00practice outside of Charlotte, NC.
- 7:03In most recent years, I have done a deep dive study in
- 7:07basically what I call how we wrestle not against flesh and
- 7:10blood, but against principalities, powers of
- 7:12darkness, and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places
- 7:16and how that really impacts our mental health.
- 7:19And I'm so excited to share that with you today.
- 7:27Doctor Natalie, it's an honor to have you here on The Mustard
- 7:31Seed with me. We've been chatting back and
- 7:33forth for a while. I tried to get you scheduled.
- 7:35I want to say about a month or two ago, couple things came up.
- 7:39But God is faithful. He opened the door and here we
- 7:42are. And I'm excited for you to be
- 7:43here with me. Thank you, I'm so excited as
- 7:46well. I always just trust God's timing
- 7:48in these things for sure. Yeah, you've been working on,
- 7:52well, a lot behind the scenes. I think one of the coolest
- 7:55things when I looked you up, I seen that you do a lot of
- 7:59missions work in the Philippines.
- 8:00And my wife, right away she's like, oh, oh, oh, she's just so
- 8:03excited. And just obviously we FaceTime
- 8:06with a lot of family that my wife still has over there.
- 8:09We have a big heart for the Philippines and a lot of the
- 8:12situations that they go through and it was just refreshing to
- 8:16see that, you know, you were a part of the suicide prevention
- 8:19awareness and ministry that was going over there.
- 8:20And you guys also trained pastors.
- 8:22You, you do a whole bunch. So instead of me stumbling
- 8:24through it, I want to give you some time just to tell us who
- 8:27you are, what exactly it is that you do and let's kind of touch a
- 8:31little bit on your testimony and and then I have some other
- 8:34questions for you. Yeah, thank you so much for
- 8:36giving me a chance to share that.
- 8:38You know, I really believe we overcome by the blood of the
- 8:41lamb and the word of our testimony.
- 8:43So I think stories are so important and they're sacred.
- 8:46And not just my story, but I think that's why I do the work
- 8:50in mental health is because a lot of that is you're sitting
- 8:53with people hearing their story and then trying to help them to
- 8:56find understanding and then healing ultimately.
- 9:00So I am someone who was raised in the church.
- 9:03I would like to say I'm a bapticostal, whatever that
- 9:06means. So I'm somewhere between a
- 9:08Southern Baptist and a Pentecostal, you know,
- 9:11charismatic, you know, but really just someone who loves to
- 9:15study Scripture, loves the word of God and believes that it has
- 9:19answers for today. And so the more that I can seek
- 9:23understanding and help people, I think the better.
- 9:26But I'm also that adventurous person who has always been so
- 9:30inquisitive and wants to find the answers.
- 9:32And that led me to an amazing faith journey with the Lord and
- 9:37learning that with each yes that I say to God, He just takes me
- 9:42on this amazing journey and He gives me all the desires of my
- 9:46heart and the ways that He created me.
- 9:48So for example, I love to travel, I love missions and He's
- 9:52given me opportunities to do missions and travel to other
- 9:57parts of the world where they don't have access to serve
- 10:00services like we may have here. And then that specifically would
- 10:03mean mental health for me. So years ago, I just had this
- 10:07love of, you know, meeting different people and learning
- 10:10about different cultures. And I know that that comes from
- 10:12God for sure. And my husband, however, though
- 10:16was not, did not feel led to be called into full time mission
- 10:21and, and go across the world or anything like that.
- 10:23But he always believed we were to be workplace missionaries and
- 10:27do all that we can where we are. And I love that and I'm so
- 10:31thankful. But it's also the most recent
- 10:34years led me to use my work and giving me opportunities to go
- 10:38abroad. And he's been so supportive of
- 10:40that, of which I'm so thankful. I love how the Lord has woven
- 10:43that together. And because of that desire and
- 10:46just saying one yes at a time, God's given me an amazing
- 10:50relationship with some people in the Philippines.
- 10:53Northgate Ministries is what they're called, and they're just
- 10:56an amazing group of people. You know, anytime I go, I
- 10:59actually feel like I gleaned so much more from them than what
- 11:04I've even taken there to teach and train.
- 11:08So I love how the word Lord works in that way.
- 11:11But I just say yes, to be honest with you, Rod.
- 11:15I just say, hey, where do you want me to go, Lord?
- 11:17And then I see if it fits in my schedule, see if I can be a
- 11:20help. And because of that, yes, I've
- 11:23gone to Nicaragua, Kenya, Brazil, India and the
- 11:29Philippines, of course, which that's an ongoing relationship
- 11:32that I'm building and, and love that there.
- 11:35So yeah, thanks for sharing. I hope that answered all your
- 11:37questions. Yeah, the yes is so powerful and
- 11:44it you can't underestimate the yes of the calling on your life.
- 11:48It opens the door to everything else and it's all webbed and
- 11:50weaved together. And I I really do think that God
- 11:53enjoys us catching up or, or being able to comprehend what
- 11:58Our Calling is as time goes on. It's almost, you know, he
- 12:02created humor and sometimes he's he's laughing going.
- 12:05Are you seeing it yet? Do you see it?
- 12:06Do you see what I made you for? And it's just coaxing us into
- 12:10this beautiful place of it's fulfilling, but it but it's also
- 12:14the heart of the Lord to go out and find the law.
- 12:17So Doctor Natalie, I'm going to ask you, you know, spiritual
- 12:19warfare is a huge component of what I talk about here, bringing
- 12:23that into the reality check for people all around the world.
- 12:28You know, a lot of the times I feel like Churchianity, and I
- 12:30don't mean that disrespectfully, but I'm going to be very
- 12:33transparent. A lot of the times we're not
- 12:36encouraged to read the Bible for ourselves.
- 12:38You know, there's nothing that's that's challenged or checked.
- 12:41And there's, it's hard to distinguish what is a mental
- 12:44health issue versus a spiritual issue.
- 12:47So laying a foundation spiritually and then being able
- 12:49to find out the differences in between.
- 12:53Thank God that you're here to help because this is an ongoing
- 12:57issue. So let's kind of just dive into
- 12:59that, comment on that a little bit and let's see where we go.
- 13:02Yeah, sure. I think for so many years,
- 13:05mental health professionals didn't want to bring in
- 13:09spirituality to the setting. But I'll be honest with you,
- 13:12there's a lot of people in the secular research and the secular
- 13:16aspect of mental health counseling who are understanding
- 13:19now how important spirituality is.
- 13:21However, the sad part of that is they are embracing all types of
- 13:25spirituality, which we know as believers.
- 13:29And even looking at the Old Testament narrative, that's not
- 13:31always a good thing. That's a, that's a dangerous
- 13:33thing to dabble. And you've got to know who the
- 13:35one true God is and you know what he says about your health
- 13:40in general. And mental health is definitely
- 13:42a huge part of that. And so to be honest, you know,
- 13:46I've had to really discern through, you know, training of
- 13:50mental health and what I've learned in the fields that I've
- 13:52worked in and then see, how do I look at that from a spiritual
- 13:56perspective or, you know, that that lens that really matters,
- 14:00to be honest. And I think I just had to get to
- 14:02the place where I believe Scripture and it says we wrestle
- 14:06not against flesh and blood. And so from a mental health
- 14:09perspective, that means it's not us that we're wrestling against.
- 14:14Absolutely. Do I believe that we are totally
- 14:16depraved beings, we need a savior, that we were born into
- 14:19sin? I do.
- 14:20But I also believe that, for example, when someone's
- 14:24struggling with suicidal ideation that is not of them,
- 14:28that is coming from an outside influence of spiritual force of
- 14:33of wickedness that is causing an imager of God, a human to want
- 14:38to hurt themselves because it's actually not natural to want to
- 14:42harm yourself. If you think about the way the
- 14:44body was designed to heal itself and, and even in people who are
- 14:48not conscious, sometimes their body is fighting to live, then
- 14:53if you look at that is suicide is against everything.
- 14:57That's natural. And if I can tell someone, hey,
- 15:00this is not you, this is not of you.
- 15:02This is a an attack of evil proportions in your life that
- 15:08has caused you to think you want to harm yourself.
- 15:12That's a different discussion than someone just saying, oh,
- 15:17it's your thoughts, it's you. And I think that's the way the
- 15:19enemy deceives. And so because I've learned some
- 15:22so many things and God's taught me about what those influences
- 15:26are, it gave me the desire to develop a course where I could
- 15:32train other mental health professionals and even just
- 15:34people in general who will interested in these topics.
- 15:37And the first thing that I do write is I go through sort of
- 15:40some background things and how worldview matters.
- 15:43But then I also go through what are the symptoms of a just
- 15:47general mental health struggle and then what are the symptoms
- 15:50of spiritual warfare? And then I also differentiate
- 15:54what are the symptoms of what I would call like an evil
- 15:57influence or spiritual manifestation.
- 16:00And the difference between those is spiritual warfare is for
- 16:03those who are believers, who are loyal followers of Jesus, and
- 16:07spiritual manifestation of those who are not believers is what I
- 16:11would call that spiritual manifestation of evil instead of
- 16:15spiritual warfare. Does that make sense?
- 16:19Absolutely. It's actually really well laid
- 16:22out. I've never quite heard it like
- 16:23that before. This is good.
- 16:26Thank you. That's the Lord for sure.
- 16:29And I'll tell you one of the, I will say the background of kind
- 16:32of where I got a lot of this and I've gleaned a lot from is
- 16:36Doctor Michael Hazard's work in the unseen Realm and using that
- 16:40divine council worldview, because worldview does matter.
- 16:44There's actually been a lot of research about biblical
- 16:46worldviews and how much that can positively impact your mental
- 16:51health. And I take that a step further
- 16:53and say, OK, if a biblical worldview matters and it can
- 16:57help you from mental health standpoint, then we need to have
- 17:00a right view of what those things that we battle against
- 17:04truly are. And so Michael Hazard's work
- 17:07about the Divine Council and all that has really helped me to
- 17:11understand and to be able to explain to people where these
- 17:17evil influences and things come from.
- 17:20Yeah, it's so important. Yeah.
- 17:22Mike Hauser is held in high regard here as well.
- 17:26You know it, it's so interesting, Doctor Natalie,
- 17:29because from from where I encounter the stuff face to face
- 17:34with people, dialogue wise and trying to get people to
- 17:36understand what's in the Bible. It's almost like when somebody
- 17:39comes along who has a degree or a reputation that then is In
- 17:44Sync with what you're saying, right?
- 17:47Like, let's say I'm the echo chamber for someone like Doc,
- 17:51Doctor Michael Heizer, Doctor Chuck Missler, Doctor Laura
- 17:53Sanger, you know, any of these people that are going out and
- 17:56paving away and kind of laying down, hey, this is undisputable
- 18:00information. You know, do the research.
- 18:04This is where you end up. It's not really a perspective
- 18:06thing. It's more or less, you can't get
- 18:08around it. It's so interesting how people
- 18:11are then willing to readjust that mindset.
- 18:13And I don't think that's for everybody, but there's an
- 18:15academic mindset within our population where people are
- 18:19inquisitive. People really do want, you know,
- 18:22good answers, better answers. And that's so fascinating how
- 18:27Doctor Michael Heizer really just shook the foundation of a
- 18:31lot of what we see going on today.
- 18:33We actually had a revival just a couple weeks ago in his hometown
- 18:36in Lebanon, PA. And we're watching people get
- 18:40delivered. We've seen, I think it was nine
- 18:41or no, way more than that. I think it was 12 or 13 baptisms
- 18:45that took place there and just worship music.
- 18:48Yeah, it was really cool. But not to go on and on, but
- 18:51it's very fascinating what you're talking about here,
- 18:53Doctor Natalie. Oh, thank you so much.
- 18:55You know, and I love Doctor Laura Sanger's work, really hope
- 19:00to get to meet her in person one day.
- 19:02I like to say that we're pen pals because we e-mail back and
- 19:04forth some and she helped to actually review some of the
- 19:08things that I did in the course, such as the assessment where I
- 19:12really assess how evil was possibly in introduced to a
- 19:16person, especially when it comes to spiritual warfare or
- 19:19spiritual manifestations. So I'm so thankful for that and
- 19:22just thankful for what I'm learning.
- 19:24And with the space or the area of research that I really want
- 19:27to contribute to is just so that every day a mental health
- 19:31practitioner who has no idea what a person is actually up
- 19:36against. Because we need it, to be frank
- 19:38with you. I mean, the intense increase of
- 19:43the need of mental health services and the struggles that
- 19:45people are facing, especially since the pandemic is something
- 19:49that we don't have enough resources even in America to be
- 19:54able to respond to effectively. And I think people are seeing
- 19:58that. I mean, the mental health
- 19:59struggles are absolutely real and increasing daily.
- 20:02And there's just not enough professionals out there.
- 20:05But beyond that, there's not enough equipped professionals
- 20:09who know what people are truly up against.
- 20:13Yeah, it's such a good point. Now I want to backtrack a little
- 20:16bit and dive into the difference of what you were saying.
- 20:20Just being it was kind of the first time I've heard it that
- 20:22way. Not that I didn't understand it
- 20:24that way, but yeah. So when you're in Christ and
- 20:29you're waking up to the spiritual reality, it's a
- 20:32different style attack that comes against you versus being
- 20:36in the world the way that I say it is.
- 20:39If you're in the enemy's camp, there's less resistance to keep
- 20:43you, to keep you there when you want to be there, right?
- 20:46Like, you don't, you know, sometimes you can just kind of
- 20:48go through life and if you're not striving for God, it kind of
- 20:52feels like maybe things go better for people.
- 20:56And when you start to gravitate towards the Lord or wake up and
- 21:00want to seek deeper truth, it seems like there's more of a
- 21:04thick spiritual battle in the air.
- 21:06But I want to give it back to you, Go back to those kind of
- 21:09like, you know, two terms. Break that down a little bit
- 21:11more. Help me to understand what
- 21:15you're laying out for for people to learn in regards to being in
- 21:19Christ versus being in the world and what the spiritual
- 21:22manifestation looks like versus an actual spiritual warfare.
- 21:26Yeah, absolutely. I think it's important to
- 21:29different differentiate between the two because they are
- 21:31different. However, I will say that I in
- 21:35just my simple everyday practice, I will tell you that
- 21:38I, I firmly believe that the powers of darkness, the
- 21:42spiritual forces of wickedness and heavenly places, all all of
- 21:46the ways that we would term from a biblical perspective, Satan,
- 21:50the fallen angels, all those things.
- 21:53And I just say simply, evil influence.
- 21:58I do believe they go very hard after those who have the most
- 22:02potential for holiness. So that's even in the life of an
- 22:06unbeliever who they know, they've watched, they study,
- 22:11sometimes people or they do, they're there to steal, kill and
- 22:15destroy. And those who have the most
- 22:17potential, I think they go hard after those people.
- 22:20And sometimes those look like an everyday person who struggles so
- 22:24much, who has had the most horrific story of abuse or
- 22:28whatever. And when I get the chance to
- 22:30meet them in a counseling setting, I'm like, wow, this is
- 22:32one of the most kind and sweet individuals.
- 22:35And if they become a believer, wow, what they can do for the
- 22:38Kingdom. But in regards to your question,
- 22:43you know, I would say that absolutely, I think the
- 22:47difference is the strategies. When someone's a believer, I
- 22:50think the enemy goes after us in terms of making us not effective
- 22:54for the Kingdom. So anyway, they go to attack us.
- 22:58It's to cause us to not be effective, to not go out and
- 23:00really be able to spread the light, the gospel, the good news
- 23:05to to help people find healing and freedom and truth.
- 23:10Whereas the spiritual manifestations for people who
- 23:13are not believers, it looks like a completely different thing.
- 23:16I think the enemy tries to use them to help people not continue
- 23:20to go to the light, and he does that in a lot of different ways.
- 23:23And sometimes it looks like they are succeeding from a financial
- 23:27standpoint or a fame standpoint at exponential levels, but we
- 23:34know that eventually that's going to destroy them.
- 23:38You know, what's really interesting about what you
- 23:40brought up is the enemy seeing potential in people that aren't
- 23:43even in the Lord yet. I do believe that, yeah, that's
- 23:48what's going on for sure, because there's strategic
- 23:51attacks on people's lives now. You know, I've dived into even
- 23:55minutely working with people that are SRA survivors.
- 23:58And then Dr. Monzo comes on and now we're learning about SIT,
- 24:01the satanic information technology and it's just we need
- 24:07to be strong spirit LED believers in the days that we
- 24:10live in. And and what you were saying a
- 24:12little bit ago about getting practitioners equipped with the
- 24:15correct worldview, that's a lot of the problem.
- 24:18Absolutely. And and to be honest, even in
- 24:22something freeing for me was, you know, I didn't always
- 24:25believe the church responded to those who struggled with sexual
- 24:31identity and issues like that with like homosexuality.
- 24:34I, I didn't think the church always did a good job in
- 24:36responding to that. I believe 100% that it is not
- 24:40God's design. That is not his will.
- 24:42That is not his plan for humanity that he created, you
- 24:45know, one man and one woman. But I often, I always use the
- 24:50description, you know, we were born into sin and we have to die
- 24:53to ourselves. And we may have been born that
- 24:56way in the in the regard that we were born into a sinful nature,
- 24:59but we have to put off that sinful nature when we become a
- 25:03new creation in Christ. But with Doctor Michael Hazard's
- 25:06information, I started really realizing that that attack of
- 25:11sexuality and attack on humanity is actually from the fallen
- 25:16watchers before the flood. They really wanted to completely
- 25:20mess up humanity and what that meant, the image of God, they
- 25:26wanted to create beings that were not even fully human.
- 25:30And so when I look at it now, like when you're being attacked
- 25:33with things like sexual identity crisis or going against God's
- 25:38nature, that is a, you know, I wouldn't say just a demonic
- 25:43attack, but possibly it's a, it's intact from a fallen being
- 25:48that says, I want you to go against God's way.
- 25:53But that's not a conversation that's being had and then
- 25:58lovingly come alongside someone and say, Hey, you're being
- 26:01attacked by the enemy and we need you to see that 100% for
- 26:06what it is because this is not who you are.
- 26:08This is not your identity. Does that make sense?
- 26:13Yeah, that's so good. Yeah.
- 26:15The enemy would would obviously anything that God's intention of
- 26:20how things are to work together, he would want to parallel a
- 26:24perverted understanding of that. And that is such a dark attack.
- 26:28Now I know like, you know, we've had people that are, I guess you
- 26:33could say up to par with ancient Semitic and language, right.
- 26:37And, and we've went through and traced through, you know, these
- 26:41entities that it's the same entity as it was in ancient
- 26:44times. They just re mask and rename
- 26:46themselves in accordance with what the generation is most
- 26:49widely accepted to as the time slots go on.
- 26:53And really, you know, it's fascinating to see this
- 26:58generation being hammered with this sexual identity crisis.
- 27:02And it stems just like you said it, Doctor Natalie.
- 27:05It stems right back to this is what's the world view?
- 27:08What is the enemy doing? If people could understand
- 27:11there's an actual enemy against their soul who's here to lie,
- 27:15kill and destroy, it would be a lot easier to start to rebuild
- 27:21from a godly perspective in people's minds.
- 27:24Now I want to ask you like really, how did this passion
- 27:28start for you? Did you know when you were
- 27:30younger that you wanted to do this kind of work?
- 27:33Or is there something climactic that happened or like an
- 27:36awakening point in your life where you understood my calling
- 27:40is to help people build the identity of God and, and expose
- 27:44the darkness and, and actually have truth to offer.
- 27:48I mean, where, where does that passion come from?
- 27:50Is there a significant point in time in your life where it all
- 27:53made sense? That's a good question.
- 27:56To be honest, it's just been a growing thing within me.
- 27:59I've always been Yeah, I'm a middle child wide open, you
- 28:02know, so I'll say that. But I.
- 28:06So there's a lot of stuff that God, you know, created in me
- 28:09that gave me a passionate personality.
- 28:12But, you know, growing up, I watched my parents have such a
- 28:16heart for people. And my dad did work in prison
- 28:19ministry, although his full time job was the military to be to
- 28:24honestly, and my mom, you know, just being a secretary in a
- 28:27school and watching her help kids who had no one else to help
- 28:30them that, you know, watching that was such a good example for
- 28:35me and and their love of God and love of his word.
- 28:38And my dad was the wonderful way of responding to my inquisitive
- 28:42nature when I said, well, what do Mormons believe?
- 28:44What do Jehovah Witness believe? What do all these other
- 28:47religions believe? And he didn't say, like a lot of
- 28:49people did in a generation where I grew up, is you don't question
- 28:53that. No, my dad said, OK, you have
- 28:55questions, let's go there. Let's look at it.
- 28:58And he never, you know, pushed back on me asking questions.
- 29:03And I was so thankful because he had such a trust in God and in
- 29:06his faith in who God really was, that he knew the truth would set
- 29:11me free no matter what. So he wasn't a scared of those
- 29:14questions. And so I'm so thankful for that.
- 29:17And you know, along the way, to be honest, some church hurt,
- 29:21some different struggles in my life led me to want to find out
- 29:24the answers on my own as well. And then growing up with parents
- 29:28who were naturally helpers made me want to go into a helping
- 29:32profession. And so I did.
- 29:34And then with each journey along the way, it just led me deeper
- 29:38into wanting to help people how to find answers from a biblical
- 29:43perspective. Because I love God's Word and
- 29:46I'm that nerdy person who will go and dig deep and search.
- 29:50But then God's gifted me. He's gifted me and that ability
- 29:53to be able to break it down into simple terms for others who may
- 29:58not go as deep as I'm going to go.
- 30:01Yeah, it's so good just to see the faith of your parents,
- 30:04right? It's like.
- 30:06Yeah. Trusting that God will work it
- 30:09out in your life and kind of letting you go in certain areas.
- 30:12That's really profound. That's amazing.
- 30:14Yeah. Now.
- 30:16And you're, well, good. What were you going to say?
- 30:18I wanted to add too to the to the last thing that we were
- 30:21saying when I mentioned about the sexuality thing is and the
- 30:23church is not responding well to that is because I think churches
- 30:27either went one of two ways. They went into this way of we
- 30:30have to accept and love these people because we can't just
- 30:32push them out. And they embraced stuff that was
- 30:37not biblical, which was sad, or they went, we have to completely
- 30:40push them out. And I'm saying you don't have to
- 30:43do either. You actually need to look at
- 30:45specifically what is it from a biblical standpoint.
- 30:49And I think the church has gotten that wrong.
- 30:52And that's another area of education that I've wanted to
- 30:55kind of help in. So.
- 30:58Yeah, I mean, how, how do you handle that, right.
- 31:01So if you're a pastor of a small town church and you have, you
- 31:05know, a couple kids that are dealing with this sexual
- 31:08identity crisis. I mean, if you look at the track
- 31:11record of the way that most churches have been, not to point
- 31:14anyone out in particular, but that's a very difficult topic,
- 31:18especially with what the news scare tactics are, right?
- 31:23Kids being able to file against their parents if they're not,
- 31:28you know, given treatment for transitioning and just all this
- 31:31wild stuff going on, almost like they're trying to scare the
- 31:34parents. Like, you know, the spirit
- 31:36that's in, in the generation today, if you don't bow down to
- 31:39it, there's repercussions for it.
- 31:40It's, it's trying to cause fear. And that's what I really don't
- 31:43like in my personal walk and just the way that God has has
- 31:48built me. And it's just, no, there's No
- 31:50Fear in this. Like we're going to get to the
- 31:51bottom of it. No reason to be afraid.
- 31:54But I do see this, you know, and, and I see this ripple
- 31:56effect go out from the camp of darkness trying to position
- 32:00themselves to even get a deeper seated idea within the mind of
- 32:06the church and the parents and the children.
- 32:09So what is one of the main things that you counsel on in
- 32:12this area with the the gender confusion?
- 32:16Like, like what does that even look like?
- 32:17If you want to, I guess help us warm up to the idea of do you
- 32:21counsel one-on-one? Do you do a group session
- 32:24training other professionals to understand a biblical
- 32:28understanding of sexuality? What does that even look like?
- 32:30I mean, we got to ask some of these hard questions sometimes,
- 32:33right? Yeah, we do.
- 32:35And I, I love that, absolutely. And, and again, I think what
- 32:39I've tried to help people understand and right now where
- 32:42I'm at is I'm training my own staff about these issues.
- 32:45And then I've developed the course for other people to go
- 32:47online to help them learn more about, you know, where the
- 32:52forces of darkness attack mental health and what that actually
- 32:55looks like. And then how to treat that from
- 32:57a, you know, a good model biblically and with good using
- 33:01evidence based treatments. But I will say that I just love
- 33:06the Divine Worldview Council because it gave me more language
- 33:09to help understand a lot of the issues where in the past we
- 33:11would have said, oh man, they're going to have to fight against
- 33:14their feelings. You know, they feel this way,
- 33:17but that's not who they are. And the world has said, you feel
- 33:21if you feel this way, that's what you are.
- 33:23And that is such a lie of the enemy.
- 33:26But now I have even more language beyond that to say, no,
- 33:31actually, the fact that you feel this way is, is an attack of
- 33:36demonic proportions, of evil proportions.
- 33:40They are going specifically after you in this area to tell
- 33:44you who you're not, and they're making you feel like it's you.
- 33:51And if I could say, look, this is not new.
- 33:53Nothing's new under the sun. I can show you where it started
- 33:57in Scripture and how they attacked human beings at that
- 34:02time and then what the result of that was.
- 34:06That's a different conversation than saying, you know, you feel
- 34:09this way. It's not how God made you and
- 34:12you need to walk in in freedom of Christ because people don't
- 34:15often understand, well, why do I feel this way?
- 34:17Now I can tell him why you feel this way is because the enemy is
- 34:21hard after you, and he wants to mess up the idea that you're a
- 34:25human made in the image of God. Because that's exactly what that
- 34:29means. Taking a stand, you're wow, I
- 34:34wish we had more people in the frontline that were willing to
- 34:37do this. And part of what I do in my
- 34:39course is I go back and say, hey, I'm going to tell you what
- 34:42this was called in the ancient, you know, ancient days, you
- 34:47know, that these were actually gods, little G gods, fallen sons
- 34:50of God that they worshipped from a sexual perversion standpoint.
- 34:56And that's the probably the entity that's attacking you
- 34:59today, this principality that's attacking you today.
- 35:03When you look at, you know, the month of June being from the
- 35:07goddess Juno and the relationship that she had to I
- 35:13think it was Iris who was the goddess of the rainbow and all
- 35:19these things. Then you start putting all these
- 35:21pieces together and you're like, wow, this is not actually new
- 35:25that that's pride month and they're celebrating this.
- 35:27They're actually celebrating an A principality of darkness.
- 35:35And when I can put it in those terms like that and and say,
- 35:38hey, you're fighting against the principality.
- 35:41It's not you. They're trying to tell you it's
- 35:43you, but it's not you. That is such a different in a
- 35:46very much more stronger conversation than saying you
- 35:52just need to die to yourself because you're feeling this way,
- 35:56because they want to know why they're feeling that way.
- 35:58Exactly, exactly. That's so powerful.
- 36:02So this is what the occult has been trying to hide in plain
- 36:07sight for so long. And then here comes, you know,
- 36:11you and Doctor Sanger and you know, me and Pete at the Days of
- 36:15Noah podcast, and we're all just kind of coming along like we're
- 36:19going to disassemble all of that because God has called us to
- 36:22expose you, right? And then now we can use these
- 36:26undisputable points to show people in the world.
- 36:29And I love that. Sometimes I don't even realize
- 36:32that's what's happening. It's so natural at this point.
- 36:34Like just oh God is amazing how he works.
- 36:39It's so beautiful and and the fact that he partners with
- 36:41humans to do his work is beyond anything I'll ever comprehend
- 36:45but I'm so thankful for. Because he could snap his
- 36:48fingers and have it all done. But you're right there.
- 36:50He has this desire to partner with us.
- 36:53And, and like our deepest conversion, I truly believe is
- 36:58spending time with the Lord and literally transferring, you
- 37:02know, like we're, we're laying a little bit more down.
- 37:05I'm going to let go of this God, I'm going to say yes, a little
- 37:08bit more. All right, I'm, I'm trusting you
- 37:11with more. And then you look back and as
- 37:13the years go on, I love what Dan Duvall says.
- 37:16I played in the intro of all the shows.
- 37:17You're going to have a justice case, which is a testimony
- 37:21against the Kingdom of darkness. You know, like you're going to
- 37:24have be able to rattle off. This is what they tried to do to
- 37:28me. This is where they failed.
- 37:30And it is by the blood that I am present, right?
- 37:33And I'm doing all I can to stand.
- 37:34So I know that doesn't always make sense from the outside
- 37:38world, but we who are, let's just say the water gets deeper,
- 37:41right? It's at the ankles.
- 37:43Then you start to realize the water's at your knees, your
- 37:46waist deep. It's not too long until it's a
- 37:49river that you can't swim across.
- 37:50Doctor Natalie kind of talk with us about the infrastructure of
- 37:54the business. Are you training up people out
- 37:57of your own office or how does how does it look if there's
- 38:00someone listening out here who has understanding in these
- 38:04fields or, you know, they have the academic background and
- 38:07they're they're persuaded. Yeah, we need to have these
- 38:09conversations. God is real.
- 38:11I'm sick of hiding behind, you know, the piece of paper and the
- 38:15fear of being public about the the reality.
- 38:18What's going on here? How would you encourage them?
- 38:20What exactly is it that you do to raise up people to go deeper
- 38:24into the truth? I.
- 38:26Love that question. And thankfully God has given me
- 38:30people who come alongside me even on my staff, if I just give
- 38:34them the opportunity, they'll say, hey, I want to go to
- 38:37Nicaragua. You know, hey, I'd love to go to
- 38:40the Philippines. And then I just say, hey, let's
- 38:42go, come with me. And you know, one of my
- 38:44therapist goes with me every year to the Philippines and she
- 38:47does a lot of one-on-one counseling with some of the
- 38:51daughters of the pastors that are there and their families
- 38:54even. And we just sort of, hey, we're
- 38:56going to meet the needs where we are and we'll provide assessment
- 38:58tools and training for the staff there or people that we work
- 39:02with there. And then another therapist, I
- 39:04love it. She said she had always had this
- 39:06dream of going on a mission trip.
- 39:08And so when I provided the opportunity for her, and then
- 39:11I've watched it, just the Lord used that opportunity to train,
- 39:15change her as a person. It's been one of the most
- 39:17beautiful things I've ever been allowed to have a front row seat
- 39:21and watching. And she wants to go back every
- 39:23year to Nicaragua and just be able to help the people there
- 39:26there. And what we do there is just
- 39:27caregiver support is to help the staff there to just feel heard
- 39:33and known. And, you know, we teach them
- 39:35things that they can look for and those that they work with as
- 39:38well. But I think it's just giving
- 39:40people the opportunity of saying, hey, you can go to, you
- 39:44can go as well. And then through my course, I'm
- 39:47just giving training for people to learn more about how they can
- 39:50help other people. But as far as, you know, going
- 39:54into this space, I do believe that at some point it may
- 39:58require me to lay down my license.
- 40:00And I think other people are just going to have to be bold
- 40:03enough to go there because they understand that you serve the
- 40:06sovereign God. Who is in control of all
- 40:10regardless, and that he is your provider ultimately, and not a
- 40:14licensure board or an insurance company that pays claims or
- 40:18anything like that. But that the true one God of the
- 40:22universe is universe is the one who you have to stand before and
- 40:26give an account to. And we got to expose the deeds
- 40:30of darkness. I think that's a huge part of
- 40:32what mental health professionals should be doing anyway, is
- 40:35uncovering what led to this person struggling.
- 40:40And if we have the answers, and it's not what the world wants us
- 40:44to say, but if we truly have the answers, we need to be giving
- 40:47that to people. I mean, you're at the reality
- 40:51that these governmental systems of the world, there's going to
- 40:55be a wrestling match, that there's a time coming where,
- 40:58yeah, a license or a piece of paper is not going to be the
- 41:04ultimate requirement for what God is calling his people to do.
- 41:09And it's really profound that you brought that up because this
- 41:11is stuff that I, I, I participated minutely in
- 41:15conversations in the background. I don't know why it seems like a
- 41:19lot of different doctors want to come on the podcast.
- 41:21So I, I talk with different people and, and that is so true.
- 41:27When is it going to get to the point where the king is issuing
- 41:30out? This is what your anointing and
- 41:32calling is. And this is Kingdom work over.
- 41:38This is the secular work that so many people have served, right?
- 41:43They've served the God of their own belly, the God of money, the
- 41:46God of their desire and their vacation versus the king of
- 41:50kings. And yeah, we're, we're coming
- 41:52into a time where the line is being drawn in the sand.
- 41:55And I'm not a timeline guy, but I, I, I've been feeling it,
- 41:59Doctor Natalie. I've been having just different
- 42:01dreams lately. It's just, it's been different.
- 42:03There's a shift that has taken place in my life.
- 42:06I've been tested and put through the fire in ways that I could
- 42:10not have imagined I would have been able to testify on if you
- 42:14would ask me anything like this five years ago.
- 42:17And so I do understand that this stuff is coming about and God
- 42:21really wants us to be equipped in him and He is working in and
- 42:25through US and that to be the requirement.
- 42:28Now, I'm not telling anybody out there to go rip up your
- 42:30doctorates and your license. And no, I'm just saying plant
- 42:33those seeds. Be prepared that there is a time
- 42:35coming where it's going to be by the Spirit, not by might or
- 42:40strength or how well equipped we are, how famous we are or who we
- 42:43know or don't know. No, it is going to come by the
- 42:46Spirit of God and I think that that's a well worthy seed to
- 42:50plant. Just riff on that, comment on
- 42:52that as you'd like to see. Yeah, I love that.
- 42:55You know, when you first started in commenting and saying that I
- 42:59think one of the major attacks or agendas of the enemy is to
- 43:03get believers to compartmentalize their faith.
- 43:08And that has never been what God intended us to do.
- 43:11Being a follower of Jesus is who we are.
- 43:15It is our identity and if we lay that aside when we are at work,
- 43:21no matter what that work is, we are not walking in who God
- 43:27called us to be. And I, but I do believe, I mean,
- 43:31you know, people, how many Christians do you have working
- 43:33in these companies that have these policies that they would
- 43:37not agree with on Sunday morning at church, but they are sitting
- 43:42there allowing it to happen? You know, how many Christians
- 43:46are going along with school boards and school systems that
- 43:50say, you know, we can't have the, we have to have this in
- 43:54our, you know, school or in our whatever.
- 43:56And they're not taking a stand. You know, how many parents are
- 44:01allowing doctors to make decisions about their children,
- 44:06the children that God gave them to raise?
- 44:10You know, and I just believe that Christians need to wake up
- 44:13to the attack of the enemy on that, that we are not to
- 44:16compartmentalize our faith that it is who we are.
- 44:20And it should it should come out of every aspect of our lives.
- 44:24And that doesn't just look like being kind and loving.
- 44:27Yes, it does look like that. But I think that too many times
- 44:31Christians have said, well, I live out my faith by being
- 44:33loving to my neighbor and kind. And you absolutely should do
- 44:35that. But you also should take a stand
- 44:39when you need to take a stand. And why we have laid down that I
- 44:43am really not sure. But it is plaguing our nation,
- 44:46specifically the US, and it is hurting us.
- 44:50And now people are taking over that say they have faith and
- 44:55that and that does not line up with God's word at all.
- 45:00And I do believe we're going to be held accountable for that.
- 45:04Yeah, it's a scary reality for some people.
- 45:07You know, I wrote this little section in my my book.
- 45:11It's very small. It's after the poem his way that
- 45:14that Doctor Laura prophesied over.
- 45:16But just the snippet of it goes some in shame, some will glow.
- 45:21Time will tell, all will know and it's just my way of closing
- 45:25out and planning the seed that yes, we're going to have to
- 45:29answer for this. Literally washing blood off of
- 45:32our own hands requires us to cry out and spare not.
- 45:36And I think that there's a lot of people that are in Christ or
- 45:40that have the, even the potential to come into Christ,
- 45:42maybe some of them that have been misled into religious
- 45:45spirits and, and doctrines of devils so deep that they, they
- 45:48can't distinguish the truth from the lie.
- 45:51But there's a lot of people out there that would be quick to
- 45:53say, yes, I'm a Christian, right?
- 45:55We do these world tolls and we say, Oh, there's 2 billion
- 45:58Christians on the earth and there's now there's 2 billion
- 46:01Muslims on the earth. And now, oh, Christianity is not
- 46:04going to be the biggest religion in the trajectory in 10 years
- 46:07from now. You know, we, we, we hear this
- 46:08stuff, right? And I'm not saying that's
- 46:10completely accurate. I was just using that as an
- 46:12example. But if we were really about
- 46:15God's business and we really were letting that word be stored
- 46:18up in our heart that we wouldn't send against Him, and then we'd
- 46:21understand that sometimes doing that's what is not right is also
- 46:25sin. And now it's terrifying because
- 46:27it's like, who can save me from this wretched flesh?
- 46:29Like it's not even like, you know, sometimes we come to the
- 46:32reality, it's like not even doing something wicked, that sin
- 46:35is also not doing what is right. That is sin.
- 46:40And this is where the power of God and the love of God should
- 46:44start to overcome and wash our minds to rebuild us.
- 46:48And This is why I love what you're doing.
- 46:49And there's so many other people out there that are willing to
- 46:51take that stand and contest and say, you know what?
- 46:54Not going to bow down. Not going to sugarcoat it.
- 46:56I'm not going to act like all of this is OK.
- 46:59And then when I get to church on Sunday, Hooray.
- 47:01Yeah, I agree with you. But then out here, where we're
- 47:03supposed to be inculcating. Yeah, where we're supposed to be
- 47:07inculcating our regions and not abdicating our responsibility to
- 47:12the Kingdom of darkness. Nobody has anything to say.
- 47:15And and so the last thing I'm going to say before I pass it
- 47:18back to you because you got me on cloud nine.
- 47:19I I'm flowing naturally at this point in time, but I'm not even.
- 47:23It's just coming out, right? The Bible says do not throw away
- 47:27your confidence, which has great reward.
- 47:30I was on a men's group study. We typically do these on
- 47:33Thursdays that confidence that has great reward.
- 47:37We were looking into the Greek and the Hebrew on these
- 47:40statements and I would just challenge the listeners to go
- 47:44into the word of God and dig a little bit deeper than the
- 47:47pastor may have told you to with fear and trembling.
- 47:51Dive in a little bit deeper and just make yourself vulnerable
- 47:54before God and just say God equip me, I need your power.
- 47:58I need everything that you offer for this day that I live in
- 48:01because listen, many are called, but few are chosen.
- 48:06Yeah. I want you guys to hear good and
- 48:10well done at the end of this age and that is going to require a
- 48:12bit of sacrifice. That is going to require taking
- 48:15a stand. It is going to be uncomfortable.
- 48:19Absolutely. And I do think that the enemy
- 48:22people compartmentalize because they are responding out of fear.
- 48:27Correct. Correct and fear, you know,
- 48:29Laura Singer, doctor Laura Singer will talk about that's
- 48:31the lowest frequency and fear has been the tactic of the enemy
- 48:34at the base of it. And I think that's why often God
- 48:37says in scripture, and I agree with you, dig deep and find to
- 48:41do not fear because he says I will be with you.
- 48:45And that's where we really need to put ourselves out there and
- 48:48say, hey, I'm going to fight this battle.
- 48:50I'm going to go out and I'm going to be someone who has
- 48:53dominion over the earth and not let these principalities take
- 48:56over because I know God is with me, the God of the universe, the
- 49:01creator. And when we understand that and
- 49:05learn it and work from a place of that, that's a different
- 49:08conversation. And if we look at the Old
- 49:10Testament, even the New Testament, all the battles that
- 49:14people of God walked through, they weren't easy.
- 49:18They had losses, they had this, they had that, but they
- 49:22ultimately were victorious because God was with them.
- 49:28And I think we also have to remember that Jesus has defeated
- 49:31all the forces of darkness on the cross.
- 49:33So we are fighting from a place of victory.
- 49:36Let's go. You know, we forget that but and
- 49:42I think when I and I'll tell you I had the best Easter once I
- 49:47realized Doctor Michael Hazard's, you know, divine
- 49:51Council worldview and looking at Easter like ice always get
- 49:55excited or Resurrection Sunday that Jesus defeated Death Hill
- 49:59in the grave. You know he'd say that, you
- 50:02know, he rose, he defeated death.
- 50:03All that sounded great, but when you look at what he actually
- 50:06did, he defeated death, which was what Satan brought about.
- 50:10He defeated the bloodline problems by shedding his own
- 50:14blood, and he gave us a way for us to be back into the family of
- 50:19God that is way more than what people actually think of when it
- 50:24comes to Jesus. So Jesus has defeated all those
- 50:27principalities that say, hey, I don't want you to be in God's
- 50:29family because that's ultimately what God wants is for us to be
- 50:32in his family. God gave a way for all the
- 50:35nations to come back to him. He defeated the the bloodline
- 50:39issues where the fallen sons of God are trying to defeat.
- 50:43You know what a human being is as transhumanists, transgender,
- 50:46all these, you know, things. He defeated the beings, the
- 50:49entities that wanted to attack that and he defeated death.
- 50:54He defeated all of that, and we fight from that place when we go
- 50:59out in the world. And because that God is with us,
- 51:02that's how we can go out and not fear what our boss is going to
- 51:06say, what the school board is going to say, what anybody's
- 51:10going to say, what the court system will say.
- 51:14I think the verse goes fanning the flame of faith that it may
- 51:18grow within you, right? Don't know where it's at, but I
- 51:22know it's in there. That's how I feel talking with
- 51:25you right now. And you just made this great
- 51:29point that we've been born for such a time as this.
- 51:32This is the time to open up and spare a knot and to just
- 51:36sharpen. It takes iron to sharpen iron.
- 51:39But when you had talked about, you know, the Gospel literally
- 51:42bringing us back into the family of God, that's the worldview
- 51:47that people need to understand. All of these different things
- 51:49that we can list out that seem minor in the big picture, like,
- 51:52oh, this is just a small sin. This isn't a game changer for my
- 51:56life. But all of it builds in the
- 51:57direction to keep us from being brought back into the family of
- 52:02God. We've been given a measure of
- 52:03faith. He who started this good work
- 52:05and he will will bring it to a finish.
- 52:08And this man, the, the systems of the world have completely
- 52:13neglected this reality and, and it is the duty, the
- 52:17responsibility of the body of Christ.
- 52:18So I love the way that you put it because you're right.
- 52:21All these people that went out before us.
- 52:22Now the conviction of the Holy Spirit.
- 52:24Now we're training ourselves in godliness.
- 52:26We're going through difficult seasons, being, let's just say,
- 52:30tested and perfected. And now here we are, here we are
- 52:35making the stand saying welcome back to the family of God,
- 52:41right? This is what the whole system
- 52:44has been programmed to keep you from understanding.
- 52:49You know, I've heard different commentators say things about,
- 52:52you know, the fallen sons of God before the flood and the
- 52:55creation of the Nephilim, that they were really attacking the
- 52:58family and the idea that humans could procreate and have a
- 53:02family. And so you think about the
- 53:06attack on the family, whether that's, you know, you're in a
- 53:09relationship where you can't have children because you're in
- 53:13a homosexual relationship or, you know, and you have to go
- 53:16through alternative means, or, you know, the family has just
- 53:21been attacked with so many different issues of abuse or
- 53:26whatever. You can definitely see how the
- 53:27enemy goes hard after the family.
- 53:31That's because God loves family and wants us to be in his
- 53:34family. And so any attack that the enemy
- 53:38can go and bestow on a on us and that idea of family, he's going
- 53:43after it, He's going after it, he's going after it.
- 54:05We have listeners in all 50 states here.
- 54:07We're not a huge, we don't get mega downloads, but I really do
- 54:10believe we have the right people listening in the right places.
- 54:14So I'm going to ask, what's the area that your practice is
- 54:17located in? I mean, obviously they don't
- 54:19need to come in person to get training, right?
- 54:21You do online courses, you do teachings online, right?
- 54:24So let's just dive into a little bit about what what you can
- 54:27offer people that are looking for a deeper equipping so that
- 54:31they can start to walk in God's calling for their life.
- 54:35Absolutely. I'm outside.
- 54:36I'm the Charlotte metro area of North Carolina.
- 54:38You can probably tell by my accent, I'm a Southern born and
- 54:42raised. But so I'm here and I have a
- 54:46practice of private counseling practice and I have about 15
- 54:49practitioners that and we are faith-based, but we don't
- 54:53advertise it necessarily that way because we don't want that
- 54:56to stop anyone from coming in. We don't just see people who
- 54:59have, you know, already committed to the faith in Jesus.
- 55:03And we see a lot people of all walks of life because we want to
- 55:06meet them where we are. So we offer that.
- 55:08But then, you know, because God has just given me this ability
- 55:13and passion to want to share what I'm learning with other
- 55:16practitioners and pastors and families or whatever about what
- 55:20the true attack on mental health is.
- 55:23I have developed an online course to be able to share that
- 55:26with people. And even just the assessment
- 55:28itself, honestly, Rod, I think is helping people.
- 55:30I've had law enforcement ask me about it because the assessment
- 55:34even like their behavioral analysts to work in law
- 55:37enforcement who are trying to stop school shootings or, you
- 55:40know, all kinds of things like that.
- 55:41And these are questions that they're not often asking.
- 55:44And so I kind of go through how evil can be introduced in
- 55:49someone's life. And if you ask those questions
- 55:51and you look at these different questions, so for example, you
- 55:54know, as someone using divination materials at home,
- 55:57like crystals or tarot cards or whatever, things like that, that
- 56:02could be open them up to evil that influences them to do
- 56:05things that they normally wouldn't do.
- 56:07Those are questions that often law enforcement doesn't ask
- 56:10because mental health assessments typically don't ask
- 56:12those types of questions. So I've just created a plethora
- 56:17of resources that within that course that can kind of help
- 56:20really not just a practitioner, but even a pastor or a law
- 56:24enforcement or a parent who wants to know where the mental
- 56:28health struggle is coming from within themselves or within
- 56:32someone that they are serving or someone in their family.
- 56:35And then hopefully they will have a foundation of
- 56:38understanding and then some tools to be able to help that
- 56:41person find healing and freedom. For example, the holistic where
- 56:47we start looking at food as medicine, medicine as our food.
- 56:49Do you, do you incorporate or or see that as being important our
- 56:54diets? Yes, absolutely.
- 56:57Of course. You know, honestly, mental
- 56:59health is is not necessarily the preferred term that I would use
- 57:02if I could, but it's just so well known that I would use it.
- 57:05Yeah, but it's really health is your whole body and your brain
- 57:08is just one part of your body. So and it's impacted by so many
- 57:13different things. It works together.
- 57:15And so absolutely. I think your food matters.
- 57:18You know, I actually tend to agree with some of Doctor Laura
- 57:21Sanger's studies that she's mentioned about.
- 57:25I don't know if you've heard of her mind virus work that she's
- 57:28talked about the Nephilim mind virus and how parasites can
- 57:31actually influence you mentally. So that is related to what we
- 57:35eat and I, I firmly believe in that.
- 57:38I, I have seen that, you know, I think it's important for people
- 57:41to do things like a parasite cleanse and it's important for
- 57:44you to look at what you're eating.
- 57:46And, you know, definitely I take a holistic approach from every
- 57:50aspect. I'll look at all that within a
- 57:53person and not just assess these other issues for sure.
- 57:58I won't get into the details, but there's a lot of
- 58:01conversations that take place behind the scenes and it's
- 58:04really interesting. I'm surrounded by holistic
- 58:08people at this point, like doctors and just holistic
- 58:10approaches. And a lot of the conversations
- 58:12are for the sharpening and and asking deeper questions.
- 58:16Right. So I love what you just said
- 58:17there. The Nephilim mine virus.
- 58:19He knows a few years ago. We're having these, these
- 58:22conversations and looking at lectins in the gut and, and the
- 58:27responsibility that, you know, the, the microbiome of the gut,
- 58:32it can actually cover the blood brain barrier.
- 58:35So you can actually have parasitic activity in the second
- 58:37brain, the gut, which is able to literally speak directly into
- 58:43the bigger brain and let's say, get you to do things that you
- 58:45might not be willing to do if you didn't have that parasitic
- 58:49activity. So the connection even between
- 58:52the demonic world and parasites. And you know, we know that the
- 58:57Amalekites, you know, blood liquors, right?
- 58:59And we know that the life is in the blood.
- 59:01And we knew parasites are literally eating the life of the
- 59:04body. They're stealing nutrition that
- 59:06should go into the blood force. There's so many.
- 59:08I mean, not not to get too deep into it, but a lot of these
- 59:11conversations were were being had over the years, I guess you
- 59:14could say, in preparation for how do we attack this from every
- 59:19angle? How do we make sure it makes
- 59:20sense? You know what I mean?
- 59:22Or can people comprehend this? Is this too weird?
- 59:25Like, have I, have I crossed the line?
- 59:27I've asked myself this like year after year.
- 59:29I really do find myself being a little bit less reserved on air
- 59:34as time goes on, Doctor Natalie, because, man, I didn't know
- 59:37there were so many other people out there that would even
- 59:40consider that what I was thinking out loud was tangible
- 59:44or usable or I mean, obviously much of it needs critique.
- 59:49And God has me around certain people to keep me within
- 59:52boundaries, I would say, which is a good thing.
- 59:55But you know, these conversations are so important.
- 59:57So, you know, we're looking at the, the whole mental health as,
- 1:00:02as not being an isolated health field, but it's, it's, it's
- 1:00:06completely working in tandem with the rest of the body.
- 1:00:09The Bible says we are wonderfully and fearfully
- 1:00:11created. Wonderfully and fearfully
- 1:00:14created and, and yeah, I, I just couldn't applaud you enough for
- 1:00:19what you're doing. Bringing the, the spiritual
- 1:00:22awareness, you know, mental health and, and the people out
- 1:00:26there that don't have access to this stuff.
- 1:00:28I'm going to, I'm just going to say it like this.
- 1:00:30I have been in these peculiar situations, Dr. Natalie, where
- 1:00:35I've been to a street ministry. I've been in weird situations
- 1:00:39where just looking at somebody, getting their eye contact and
- 1:00:43just giving them a confirmation. You are a child of God.
- 1:00:47Everything that's happened to you, it's not you.
- 1:00:50You are not a product of what they did to you.
- 1:00:52And I've seen people break down and cry.
- 1:00:55I mean, I've seen people try to do deliverance on them.
- 1:00:57I've seen all kinds of wild stuff happen.
- 1:00:59But man, sometimes I just look at somebody and just feel
- 1:01:02because I'm a bit of an empath, right?
- 1:01:04I'll start to feel it. And I'm like, man, like I can
- 1:01:08relate to this. And and if, if I could just look
- 1:01:11at you and download into you the importance of who you are.
- 1:01:15And, and I've had people crack grown men, women, I mean, just
- 1:01:19all different ages just start to crack and just be like, man, how
- 1:01:22did you know to say that to me? Or you know, that was real.
- 1:01:25And I'm going, this is God bringing the awareness, working
- 1:01:29through his people. It's so important the the eye
- 1:01:33contact and, and just a touch on the shoulder.
- 1:01:37These things are so important. I'm not going to get into it.
- 1:01:39Why right now, Maybe it's a bit of a cliffhanger.
- 1:01:42I'll have you back in the future and we'll after testimonial,
- 1:01:45like, you know, right now we're kind of getting the audience
- 1:01:48warmed up to who you are and, and bouncing these ideas back
- 1:01:51and forth. But I think we're going to get
- 1:01:53into some of these deeper things in the future that are really
- 1:01:55going to help equip people and give them a deeper
- 1:01:58understanding. So you just want to comment on
- 1:02:00any of that? Yeah, I love that.
- 1:02:03And I think it's so true because if you look at brain science and
- 1:02:09the intersection of theology, and I'll tell you, I've gleaned
- 1:02:12a lot of that knowledge from Jim Wilder and Michael Hendricks and
- 1:02:16their other half of church book. They kind of talk about the
- 1:02:19intersection of neuroscience and theology and they will talk
- 1:02:22about the joy of the Lord and where's that where that is
- 1:02:26expressed and that's in the face and that is the eye contact that
- 1:02:30you looking at another person face to face, having that
- 1:02:35interaction with them. And that's where Joy's
- 1:02:37expressed. And there's actually a
- 1:02:39connection and attachment that's made when you have that and look
- 1:02:43at the attack of the enemy on that specifically.
- 1:02:46Let's social distance. Let's get out of you know, let's
- 1:02:50do everything online. Let's not have contact with
- 1:02:54another human being who God uses to be his imager or his
- 1:02:58representative and, and face to face have that.
- 1:03:01And so people aren't experiencing the joy of the
- 1:03:04Lord. So when you look at someone out
- 1:03:06of the love of Christ in your heart and they see that, they
- 1:03:11see that you care enough to look them in the eye regardless of
- 1:03:14how they look, regardless of where they are.
- 1:03:17That is actually a transference of the joy of the Lord And we
- 1:03:22are missing that today. And you can see even the attack
- 1:03:25of the enemy on that. It takes humility.
- 1:03:30Yeah, it's it takes being led by the spirit in a lot of ways.
- 1:03:35Yeah. The mind of the flesh is
- 1:03:36different than the mind of the spirit.
- 1:03:38So I want to ask you, have you ever had a supernatural
- 1:03:42encounter? Now, I know this is, this isn't
- 1:03:44always the best way to wind down because it it could open a can
- 1:03:48of worms, but it just hit me. I'm like, man, I didn't ask this
- 1:03:51in the beginning. Yeah.
- 1:03:53Answer it as you see fit. Have you had anything
- 1:03:55supernatural happen that you're willing to testify on?
- 1:03:58Yeah, I mean, man, that could mean a lot of different things
- 1:04:01to a lot of people. Is there like a specific
- 1:04:03direction you want me to go in? Angelic dreams, visions, or a
- 1:04:09download of a word. Did you see anything cool happen
- 1:04:12on missions trips? As you see, it should be.
- 1:04:14Man, I have so many I don't. There's one that comes to mind,
- 1:04:18and this was early on. It was actually the first time I
- 1:04:20traveled abroad by myself 20 plus years ago, studied abroad
- 1:04:24in Ecuador and then did missions work on the weekends and for
- 1:04:28some ungodly reason I've packed this massive carry on before
- 1:04:33wheels were I feel like a popular thing and I got to the
- 1:04:38point in my travels where I live physically could not carry it
- 1:04:41anymore. I guess I had all my books in it
- 1:04:44and stuff. It was just like no.
- 1:04:45Who taught me how to pack? I don't know anyway, but I, I
- 1:04:50could not pick it up anymore. And I remember just praying
- 1:04:52like, God, you're going to have to help me.
- 1:04:54I can't do this. And I put my bag down and this
- 1:04:58man came up and literally picked my bag up.
- 1:05:01I let him and walked me to the next place that I needed to go
- 1:05:06and put it down. And I knew in that moment, and I
- 1:05:10have never wavered on this, that that was an Angel sent to help
- 1:05:15me, to minister to me in that moment.
- 1:05:18And that was probably my first, like, vivid memory of kind of,
- 1:05:24you know, engaging in that from that perspective, like a
- 1:05:27physical sense. But beyond that, I would say
- 1:05:31being able to sit with people in a counseling setting, I tell my
- 1:05:35staff all the time we're like God's CIA agents.
- 1:05:38He whispers his secrets to us and through the power of the
- 1:05:42Holy Spirit. And there are so many times when
- 1:05:46I know words that came out of my mouth were not from me like that
- 1:05:49was 100% a download from the Lord.
- 1:05:52And you know, then beyond that, I remember, you know, of course,
- 1:05:57being abroad and being in different environments, even
- 1:06:00doing I used to do intensive in home assessments and going into
- 1:06:05some of those darker places, I would say I knew I have remember
- 1:06:09so much the Holy Spirit just being with me and given me a a
- 1:06:14spirit of power and might and a sound mind and not a spirit of
- 1:06:18fear when everything else within me would have said this is a
- 1:06:20fearful moment. And I'll tell you most recently,
- 1:06:25my friend Beth laughs about this.
- 1:06:27We were in the airport in Manila and that this is just a silly
- 1:06:31kind of one, but there was this man who came up to us and like
- 1:06:36he hit my bag and I was like, look, the southern sass and me
- 1:06:41came out. I was like, do not touch me,
- 1:06:43buddy. I don't know who you think you
- 1:06:45are. But after that, like I just
- 1:06:48knew, like something wasn't right about that guy.
- 1:06:50And then I asked God, I was like, please don't let him be
- 1:06:52going where we're going and please don't let him be near he.
- 1:06:55So he was. And then I'm like, Lord, please
- 1:06:58don't let him be on the same part of the plane that we're on.
- 1:07:00He was right beside us and I'm like, OK, what is this, Lord?
- 1:07:04But I remember there was this one part of me that I felt like
- 1:07:08there's something evil in this man and I don't know what it is.
- 1:07:11And I just spoke out against him on the plane, just rebuking him.
- 1:07:19And later on, my friend Beth, she said, I don't think he was
- 1:07:24of this world that way. And she was serious.
- 1:07:27Like I believe that was there was some kind of, you know, he
- 1:07:30was a fallen being, he was some type of demonic entity or
- 1:07:33something like that. Because it was not.
- 1:07:35And you know, thank God for the power and might and, and the
- 1:07:40power of the Holy Spirit within me.
- 1:07:42So I have so many different experiences being some of like
- 1:07:46God sending his helpers to help us and him just using words.
- 1:07:50And even more recently, I've gotten in tune to my dreams.
- 1:07:54And what does that mean? Lord, show me what this means.
- 1:07:57And I just love how I can look back over prayer journals and
- 1:08:01journals and just see how the Holy Spirit has used those
- 1:08:04things in my life to show me things and teach me things.
- 1:08:08But then, you know, seeing the interaction with some of the
- 1:08:12evil things, too, you know? Yeah.
- 1:08:16So that's sort of like a smorgasbord of my experiences.
- 1:08:22And so I want to, I want to ask you this in regards to like what
- 1:08:27you do and teach and bring awareness to how do you handle
- 1:08:32like visions and dreams? Or I guess I should start off by
- 1:08:35saying, do you get many people that are sharing visions and
- 1:08:41dreams? And if so, how does that get
- 1:08:43handled? Yeah, that's a good question.
- 1:08:48I have had people for sure. I do have many people who will
- 1:08:51share that. A lot of times it just kind of
- 1:08:53depends on their background. And but sometimes it doesn't
- 1:08:58because I do see people again, who aren't believers and aren't
- 1:09:01in tune with that. But I have plenty of people who
- 1:09:03aren't, you know, 100% following after Jesus.
- 1:09:06They might say they're a nominal Christian and they have said,
- 1:09:10I've had this dream multiple times.
- 1:09:12And I'll just ask the question, do you want me to pray into
- 1:09:15that? Do you want me to see like give,
- 1:09:19provide some, you know, response to that from a biblical
- 1:09:23perspective? And many times they'll say yes.
- 1:09:27So I think it's just a matter of being willing to not be freaked
- 1:09:30out by what people say to you. And because you have the power
- 1:09:35of the Holy Spirit in you to be able to respond in the right
- 1:09:38ways, but then waiting and asking the Holy Spirit to truly
- 1:09:41teach you how to respond the right ways in line with His
- 1:09:45Word. That's for the mature believers
- 1:09:49out there that trust in and wait on the spirit to move.
- 1:09:55And he's our teacher. He's our teacher.
- 1:09:58Yeah. I feel like there's a lot of
- 1:10:00influx of dreams that that I've been getting personally, and
- 1:10:05then people sending to me and emailing me on their dreams.
- 1:10:08And I don't always have the best response.
- 1:10:10And I'm kind of, you know, there's times where the Spirit
- 1:10:14will quicken me and I'll understand, OK, this needs to be
- 1:10:16prayed about. And there's a couple people that
- 1:10:19I've been able to fall back on and say, can you, can you pray
- 1:10:23about this? Because this isn't my strong
- 1:10:24suit, you know, So, you know, here we are.
- 1:10:28God is bringing his people together to create an even
- 1:10:31stronger network of resources and compassion and power that is
- 1:10:36done through love and through the body, most importantly, the
- 1:10:41body of Christ. So I want you to tell people
- 1:10:44where you can be found. What exactly is it that you're
- 1:10:48working on currently? And just kind of close this out
- 1:10:52with a word of encouragement from there.
- 1:10:55Oh, thank you so much. You can find me on
- 1:10:57mentalwarriorconsulting.com and all my socials are on there and
- 1:11:02I can, you know, send you all the socials to put in the show
- 1:11:05notes if you'd like to. Or you can find me at Doctor
- 1:11:07Natalie Atwell on Instagram. You can find that on Facebook as
- 1:11:12well. And I'm just trying to provide
- 1:11:13content and videos to just kind of help warm people up to the
- 1:11:17idea that mental health is influenced a lot of times by
- 1:11:21things that are outside of you, that are not of this world even.
- 1:11:25And what I'm currently working on is I'm writing.
- 1:11:29I want to write a book about the themes in the course and kind of
- 1:11:33what I've outlined in the course, just to be able to
- 1:11:35provide something for someone to hit say, hey, I got this for
- 1:11:38you. I want to share it with you.
- 1:11:39This might be a blessing to you or someone else or help provide
- 1:11:43some understanding. And so, you know, I'm just
- 1:11:45praying about God giving me more time and a margin in my life to
- 1:11:50be able to finish that task. And I'll just encourage everyone
- 1:11:56out there to be reminded that it is important to know you know
- 1:12:01who your enemy is. I'll give you this quote that
- 1:12:04it's actually not really a spiritual book, but it's by it's
- 1:12:07in the book The Art of War. It says if you know the enemy,
- 1:12:09it's by Sun Tzu. If you know the enemy and know
- 1:12:13yourself, you need not fear the result of 100 battles.
- 1:12:17If you know yourself, but no, but not the enemy, for every
- 1:12:21victory gained you will also suffer a defeat.
- 1:12:25If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb
- 1:12:28in every battle. So I say that to say that there
- 1:12:32it's really important for you to understand who your enemy is,
- 1:12:37who you are and who you are is an imager of God, a
- 1:12:41representative of God. You are called to be His
- 1:12:43representative. Not everybody lives that out the
- 1:12:45way they should, but it's going to fulfill you and your purpose
- 1:12:49in life. If you find out what that means
- 1:12:52and be a loyal follower of Jesus and also understand who your
- 1:12:56enemy is and how he attacks you, then you're going to win those
- 1:13:00battles and you can do it. I really believe that because
- 1:13:06that's what God's Word teaches, and I'm proof of that.
- 1:13:09One day at a time. The law of the Lord is perfect,
- 1:13:15converting the soul. The testimony of the Lord is
- 1:13:19sure, making wise the simple. The statues of the Lord are
- 1:13:23right rejoicing the heart and the commandment of the Lord is
- 1:13:27pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean,
- 1:13:31enduring forever. The judgments of the Lord are
- 1:13:33true and righteous all together. More to be desired, are they
- 1:13:37than gold? Yeah, the mush fine gold,
- 1:13:40sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
- 1:13:44Moreover, by them is thy servant warned, and in keeping of them
- 1:13:48is their great reward. Psalms 19, seven through 11.
- 1:13:54Doctor Natalie, I really just want to honor you and thank you
- 1:13:58for the time that you have spent here with us today.
- 1:14:00This is not the last time that you're going to be here with me.
- 1:14:03I have some topics in mind that the Lord was whispering to me
- 1:14:07already even before our part one.
- 1:14:10It's interesting how God works that we're going to be covering
- 1:14:12down the road, Lord willing. So thank you so much for
- 1:14:15spending this time. It's been an honor.
- 1:14:18Thank you so much Rod, and thank you for your audience.
- 1:14:21We praying for you all. Even though I don't know you by
- 1:14:23name, but I I know that there's a body of believers out there
- 1:14:27who wants to learn these things to help people be set free in
- 1:14:30the name of Jesus. So thank you all so much for
- 1:14:32your time and listening. Well, that's it.
- 1:14:35That's the show you guys. I'm going to ask you to share
- 1:14:37this with your friends, family members, Co workers, and share
- 1:14:40this with your pastor, with your doctor coming to you from
- 1:14:45Southeastern Pennsylvania. God bless and goodbye, Doctor.
- 1:14:59Natalie, you had me flowing on Cloud 9 in so many ways because
- 1:15:04I'm like, I'm like, oh, I'm losing my interview mode and I'm
- 1:15:07going into like. Oh, I love that I.
- 1:15:11Love that. Yeah.
- 1:15:13It was, it was encouraging to me.
- 1:15:14I thought that was beautiful. We're supposed to spur one
- 1:15:16another on to good works, right? So I love that.
- 1:15:19Yeah, that was the word that was even coming forward to me in the
- 1:15:22moment is that's one of the hard things about being an
- 1:15:26interviewer is can make you come alive and you start being, you
- 1:15:33know, you're like, oh, I wish I was out in front of 300 people
- 1:15:36right now in person doing this. This would be a riot, right?
- 1:15:39It's so good, I love it. I've been feeling like I'm
- 1:15:48lukewarm. Gotta make a move go be in the
- 1:15:50world out of the world that I'm still trying to do.
- 1:15:53Don't care. They judge me.
- 1:15:54Father God just being vulnerable.
- 1:15:56I can gain a word to lose my soul.
- 1:15:57So if I would I lose you say this was no tightrope.
- 1:16:01I need time to repeat. So if I die, please let me die
- 1:16:04slow. Just thankful it ain't done no
- 1:16:06more. You came and cut the light on
- 1:16:07you just want us to step in this so we can get our shine on.
- 1:16:10I seen them demons casting out that body have my mind because
- 1:16:15you can't be in love in the world if you want to love Christ
- 1:16:20said you got to keep it all. You got that shot, the shot.
- 1:16:28Would you rather be loved by men or loved by Christ?
- 1:16:34Said you got to keep it all. You got that shot the shot the.
