Speaker A: Go out to la. Comin from the city where no pity is Shell. Shell. Somebody need to do a song for la.
• 0:06
  Speaker B: Straight up.
• 0:13
Speaker C: Hello, my name is Elaine and I'll be your tour guide through South Central Los Angeles.
• 0:18
Speaker B: Look, count my nose. Smoke up. I'm from California. Where you from? So what? I'm from California. California. California. California.
• 0:29
Speaker A: This is Los Angeles. Well, where we going?
• 0:31
  Speaker B: West. Work.
• 0:33
Speaker D: Hey, I'm listening to this, actually watching this podcast, Sean Stockman from Boy to Men, as a super dope podcast called Sean Stockman. Sean Stockman's on that note. Anyway, he had Jamal Hill on here and she just mentioned an idea that she had for a podcast. Now, her ideas for a actual podcast. But I want to throw this to you for some content for you to do, since I know you know you dabbling, dibbling, dabbling in them edibles. So I'm a player for you. Check this out.
• 1:14
Speaker C: It's just so much material.
• 1:15
  Speaker A: Yes.
• 1:16
Speaker C: The other one I would do, I think, feel like it could be a podcast or a TV show, but I feel like more of a TV show. But I'm going to say a podcast for this. Is it good or am I high?
• 1:26
  Speaker B: Okay.
• 1:26
Speaker A: Is it good or am I high? I like that.
• 1:28
Speaker C: Is it good or am I high? I like, because.
• 1:30
Speaker A: Give us a topic. What would be the topic?
• 1:32
Speaker C: Okay, so music. Music. The whole point is this. It's like you have to take. Let me set up the parameters. You have to either smoke or take an edible before you do an episode.
• 1:43
  Speaker D: Oh, my gosh.
• 1:44
Speaker C: And you either taste some food, listen to some music, and you have to decide, is it good or am I high?
• 1:52
  Speaker A: Right.
• 1:53
Speaker C: So then you have to do it without being high and then compare, like, was it good or am I high?
• 2:01
Speaker A: When can we go into production on this? Yeah, seriously. That's a great idea, Jamil. That's crazy.
• 2:06
Speaker C: Is it good or my idea? I saw it mostly as a food show, but I did realize, thinking about
• 2:10
Speaker A: shrooms over here now. Right, right, right, right, right, right.
• 2:12
Speaker C: But I did realize you could do it with other things you could really cross, like TV shows. Because, like, there are some people who say, like, oh, I was super high when I watched this TV show. Then they watched that shit sober. They're like, this was terrible. Was I hot? Yes, you were right.
• 2:26
  Speaker A: Right.
• 2:27
Speaker D: So there you have it. Is it the name of the episode could be Is it good or am or Was I high or Am I high? Well, either way. But that's basically the layout. Take your edible, watch something or hear some music, and you Listen to it and if you really, really like it, then you come back, you, you know, a couple of days later, whatever, like that, you watch thing or listen to the music again.
• 2:52
Speaker A: You know, you can, like I said,
• 2:54
Speaker D: watch a TV show or, or listen to some music and then you ask yourself, was it good or am I high?
• 3:01
Speaker A: You, you beat him. Now I got a phone call coming in.
• 3:05
Speaker D: You can be the judge of that. So there you go, man, a little content for you.
• 3:10
Speaker A: That's that money calling. That's that money calling. 12 cow. You ain't got me food. I know that ringtone, brother. I know I've heard it before. You know, just we hear it a little bit more in your background, you know, these days. That's my brother, 12 cow. Y' all have heard him on the show. Y' all have heard his show. I mean he's one of the most wealthiest podcasters in the podcast game. Okay. And as you can hear, he had a topic. And that's what we do is like he might come up with a topic. Very creative mind. Uh, and not only that, he'll research the Internet and come across some very interesting podcast topics or just, just topics in general. And if he doesn't tackle them, you know, he, I mean it's humble guy. He's gonna pass along. He, I'm gonna pass on his body on John Stockton. You know, he gave me one of those magic. He, he passes right there. Pass the episode off to me. I might have a little bit of experience in this field and that topic was phenomenal. And I can honestly tell you this doesn't have to be an hour long show and I promise you it won't because it's simple. No matter how high you get, it's always going to enhance something. Always, always. Now you could have a bad high or somebody could come and mess it up, but for the most part it heightens everything. So we could just start off with food. I can tell you right now, I've had bad food before while I was high and you could tell the difference between. Let me tell you, the end, it heightens everything at the end of the day. That's why I'm trying to tell you it heightens everything. So if you get a bad. For example, personal. This is personal story right here. Recently I went to a, I went to a cafe. Okay, well, I don't want to call it a cafe, but it had like a little cafe front to it, but it sold breakfast, lunch and had some dinners. But it's a great brunch spot. I Seen a lot of people go to it. I've always avoided it, you know, because I'm usually walking by, getting some exercises or going down to. There's another place, you know, that. That sells, like, croissant sandwiches or regular sandwiches and stuff like that, toasted bagel sandwiches. And that's the spot I like going to. This one is on the same block. And I've, like. I said, I pass by it every so often, and people are always sitting outside. And then one day I just said, look, I'm hungry. There's a couple of spots in this area that I normally go to. I always pass up this spot, but not today. Let's go inside there. So I went inside there, and I'm not gonna get a name because I don't. I don't like doing that unless I get, like, bad customer service. Customer service was phenomenal, okay? The only time I'm gonna shit on you, report you, or even uplift you, it's gonna start with the customer service based off the food. I'm gonna tell you if you need to know, you know what I'm saying? If I tell you, if you in the city that this place is in, I'm going to tell you not to go there, okay? But I'm not about to blast them unless they. Customer service was trash. Anyhow, I ordered me some grits, scrambled eggs, and some fish. All the real killers know that I love putting sugar and butter in my grits. I'm free to fight anybody. They got a problem with that, I really am, because I'm looking for something. I'm looking to get some. Some rage off. Okay. Anyhow, you know, I forgot to tell them to put some cheese up in my scrambled eggs. But it's no big deal. That's my fault. But I was really there to see how the fish tastes. Now. When I got there, older lady knew I was a fresh fish. And they said, hey, if this your first time telling you right now, get this right here. This is fire. I said, oh, okay. All right. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I wasn't going to get that, because I didn't come for that. I knew what I already had on my. On my mind, and a ballpark of that I wanted to eat. And once I seen that, I said, you know what? I got it for the past. For the past couple of weeks or so my wife would tell you. We was just. We just came back from Palm Springs for Valentine's weekend and I got some grits. You know, the grits was cool, but, you know, the grits, it wasn't Southern style grits, but they were some cool grits. I added my sugar, my butter in there. It was cool. Scrambled eggs, whatever. Put some salt and pepper on it. But I'm here for the fish, okay? And the fish just so happened to be not. It wasn't seasoned. It wasn't seasoned. I don't have to be high to force myself to enjoy something like that. No, I was totally sober when I tasted that. No seasoning on that goddamn fish at all. On that fried fish at all. You know what I'm saying? And again, when you are high, I don't need to be high and go back and try that again. I promise you now would I still enjoy it? That's a tricky thing because that's basically what she's saying. Did you really enjoy it or was you just. Was you just hungry? Was you just hungry? And there has been times recently in Palm Springs, we found a dope restaurant. We found a trash restaurant. And they serve some Ross, their version of Roscoe's chicken and waffles. I ordered some chicken and waffles. My wife said 90% of the menu I wasn't gonna like. So she only said three things. She said, an omelet, some chicken, some fried chicken. And they have chicken and waffles. I said, give me the chicken and waffles. I had to go pay for our parking spot. So that's what I was doing. Came back, they brought my food. The waffles was. Was like lukewarm, right? So the butter didn't melt on it. And the chicken was fried. And they gave me. They gave me the breast. They gave me their breast. And I think the other one was a thigh. A thigh and a breast. And it wasn't seasoned at all. Not raising canes, even raising canes has no season. But it tastes like. It tastes like something type of fried chicken. This was just flour and fry, no seasoning. I didn't taste. Not Nair. Not seasoning it. And I was high. So the running joke with my friends that was there along with my wife was you say you didn't like this food, but it didn't look like it because I ate 70% of it. One of the chickens, I barely touched the rest of it. I ate. I ate most of the waffle and I ate one of the whole one of the chickens and partial of the other one. And. But it was nasty. I was just hungry. I was just. And I was high. So it didn't taste good. So what I'm saying is I. I Can understand why she would think sometimes you can get fooled by the hiatus, and it's gonna have you eat so many different combinations. I can. Look, I can better tell you this. These are the things. These are my top five things with my experience with being high that elevated and heightened the taste. All right, so first of all, a pineapple tastes phenomenal off of thc. I'm talking about phenomenal. Pause. But the juices going around, that's playing around with your taste buds is crazy when it comes to that pineapple. Okay, pause if needed. I know niggas is still immature. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich or the OG Strawberry grilled cheese. And that is right. That's top tier right there. That combination between sweet and salt. Oh, my sweet. That sweet and savory. That strawberry. That strawberry slash grilled cheese. You can't do it with the grape. You can't do it with the apricot. You can't follow the directions. 12 cows. You can't do that with the boysenberry. You can't do that with the raspberry. You have to do it with the strawberry. Okay, Strawberry on one side and grilled cheese on the other. On the opposite side of that bread, make sure both sides is grilled. Golden butter, salted butter. Delightful oxtails with gravy and Mac and cheese together, though. No, not these new age niggas that's making oxtails with the oxtails in the Mac and cheese. No, make the Mac and cheese separately. Several cheeses. Make it correctly, get your rule. And then separately make your oxtails. Okay, My. My wife makes a mean batch of oxtails. Yes. Yes, she does. Yes, she does. You mix them together, though. Oh, my God. With the. With the gravy.

  Speaker B: Oh,
• 13:05
Speaker A: I'm trying to tell y'. All. Y' all don't have to try it. I'm just letting y' all know what y' all just won't be experiencing. Okay, The Martinelli's apple juice. And it's gotta be cold. Gotta be cold. Oh, chilled. Okay, 12 cows. As long as that mug is chilled, go get you a bottle and put it in. Put it on a block of ice, I pour you a glass, and then in the middle of the night, let's say you take an edible at like one o' clock in the morning, because you don't plan on going to bed till about two or three. That edible head. Oh, my God. Go binge, watch an episode or something. And they all get you a nice cold glass of Martinelli's apple juice with the strawberry grilled Cheese toast. Oh my God. I'm setting the stage for you. The vibes is there in the last one. Simple ice cream. Whatever, yo. Whatever your vice is when it comes to ice cream, whatever your flavor, your favorite flavor is. I can't tell you which flavor tastes better heightened. I can't because everybody has a different. Everybody taste buds is different. You know what I mean? I've tried pistachio ice cream in, In. What was that? In, In Mexico? Yeah, in Mexico. Fire. I didn't ever. I never thought I would like it. Is it something that I might buy on a regular? Maybe as I get older. It's a much mature taste. It's good. It's a great taste. I never thought I would like it, but there you have it. I had pistachio ice cream. It was salt. Phenomenal. But my favorite all time is Praline's pecan. I mean, best ever if you ask me. Cookies and cream is up in there. Um, yeah, the half baked. The half baked is phenomenal. Yeah, Ice cream. Ice cream. Those, those. Now here is the key one. See, food is always. I don't think you can lie when it comes to the food. I'm sorry. Me personally, I know everybody, everybody is different when they get high. Just like people in alcohol. See, I would tell Marcy that for those people that actually don't know how to control their actions and they're unaware of what's going on when they have that much alcohol in their system. Either they're just a built in lightweight that drinks a lot or they seriously have a bad drinking problem and don't know when to stop. And they've been over their limit countless times because they honestly don't know their limit. But every time that I've drunken too much or I've drank too much, I still knew exactly what was going on. I wasn't able to function physically as I wanted to because I was intoxicated. Like I was, I was on one. But I, I knew exactly what was going on. I knew how to get to places where I wanted to go. I never driven under the influence. So don't go there. I'm talking about walking from one room to room. And if I couldn't walk, I crawled. But I was, I was very aware of what I was doing. It was step by step. I remember the time where I threw up and woke up and I was inside in, in my homegirl's bathroom with the lights off. Saying the lights off sounds crazy, but you know. Yeah, but I knew how I got to the bathroom. I Knew what I said before I got. I remember I crawled to the couch where she was at and I said, I'm gonna end up spending the night here. I'm not gonna be able to drive. She said, say less. And I fell right back onto the ground because I had. That was the. That was the episode. Oh, I can't tell you what number. I've never kept up with the number of my. My numbered episodes. But I do. I know I do have an episode where I talk about. I took 13 shots. 13 shots of tequila gold. And in between taking the shots, taking those 13, I had a plate of spaghetti. So by the time I got to like six shots after that six shot, I ate me a plate of spaghetti and I drunk seven more shots after that. I ended up, you know, throwing up and shit like that in the toilet. I made it to the bathroom. Dobby's bachelor party had that candy, candy, cotton. That cotton candy. I said, kidding. That cotton candy and vanilla drink. That shit was nasty. And it got me sick, you know, took. I got myself out of the car to the van, from the van back to the car, no problems. And then there was other time. There was. There was. There was a few other times and shit like that, but I knew exactly what I was going on. Now, when it comes to being high, I don't know if we can make that same. Excuse me. When I'm high, I'm very aware of shit. Either I'm very, very aware of my surroundings, or I'm focused and locked in on one thing and not worried about what's around me. It's either or. But the thing is, I don't forget and I can still control my actions. Now, I can't. I probably can't dictate how fast or slow I'm moving, but I know I'm doing it. You know what I'm saying? And one thing that it has always done is heighten whatever I've had, which from food to music, you know what I mean? So, like, when it came to the food, it feels like you taste every ingredient involved. Now when it comes to the music, I'm not sure if can really lie about that. I'm not. I'm not sure. But it does enhance your hearing. I mean, I started hearing instruments and all kind of in the background. My. You would think I'm making this up, but no, My. When I'm telling you, you, I. You throwing your head. Throwing ahead some headset. Like a headset and, and not. And not the. Not, not the AirPods. Go throw on A headset, right? You'll be able to hear and just go listen to some shit. Like my top music to listen to is oldies. Oh, man. Anything. Anything back in the 60s and 70s, my. Anything that good, that good. Whining, crying, R B, soul shit. You know what I mean? Mike, it doesn't matter. Like, go listen. You don't have to be a Mike or Prince fan, which we talk about and I hate talking about, but I know a lot of listeners love both, but they make some great. The production. It doesn't even matter what Prince is yelling out and whatever he. He. It's just the fact that the production to this shit sounds phenomenal. You start hearing shit in ad libs you probably never heard or haven't heard since you were younger when you first heard the song, you know what I'm saying? Because you just so locked in. I listen to all kind of music, bro. Mostly R B. Because R B, R B and R B soul does something. Even Caribbean music. It does something different than hip hop. Like, and all those are part of hip hop. But I'm. What I mean, hip hop, I'm talking about like rap. It just. Trust me, the production is heightened. The ad libs and like, sometimes the eyelids would be scaring the out of me. You know, I'm saying those sirens and gunshots and shit like that. But R B, that R B is. It just does something different. It does something different, like, especially a good voice. And I love. Oh, I would love to have a great debate with anybody that where I was, you know, If y' all don't hear that rain in the background, it's coming down. Yeah, if y' all hear the rain, then we had a storm come through. But no, that. That R B. Hold on. God damn. That loud. That or that R B, dog. You go find you a soft. A soft spoken voice. But I. I strongly believe women just make better R and B music than men. I would love to have a great debate with somebody about that. But yeah, man, just listening to that R B like some Victoria Monet, My God, that's just. It's a sip of tea, like, you set the mood with that. You want to talk about an artist that could just set the move the right mood all the time. No matter what mood you looking for, you just know that light's got to be dim, you know, whatever. Have a nice little fragrance going on through the spot that you in right now, you know what I'm saying? Set the shades a certain way to where that moon is glaring or that street lights Is glaring in on a certain part of the wall. Like, she makes great music like that and you can make love to it. But I'm just talking about the vibes right now. And what I'm telling you, when you off that finest THC listening to Jaguar or Jaguar to my nigga phenomenal 12 cow. So I can't tell you too many times where I heard a song and then I was high and heard a song, I was like, maybe this sounds better if I take this edible. Nah, nah. I can honestly tell you listening to. Listening to music high, you know, is. Is one of the big timers. Big timers, you know what I'm saying? Go throw on some big on that. Go throw on that Big timers album and go listen to that shit. It's gonna be different. That production, when you hide, it's not even about the lyrics. It's about that production. It's about that music. Because you start to hear this 12 count, like, literally. Look, I know we could be stuck in our ways once we get older. I get it. But I'm going to live too. I'm gonna be stubborn when it comes to certain and I'm be conservative when it comes to other. You know what I'm saying? But you gotta, man, take it anywhere between 5 to 10 milligrams of of something, right? Let it set in, you know, but like within the next 45 minutes, I don't know, because everybody's system is different. You know, the standard is like an hour, but you got some shit that can hit in 25 minutes, you got some shit that hit in 45, some shit that hit an hour, some shit that might hit in an hour and a half. But I'm telling you, once it hit, my God, it just unlocks a creative part of your brain that says, play some music. Go get you some ice cream, grilled you a grilled cheese toast with strawberry on the opposite side. Turn this music up and dim the lights like all at once. I'm trying to tell you I wouldn't steer you wrong. I want you to try it. I want you to experience it once. Because the only way you know is. The only way is, is you got to experience it. That's the only way you're gonna know. That's the only way you're going to know. And look, I know, I get it. You say, hey, I can live through you. I take your word for it. No, trust me. If you love music, and I know 12 Cal loves music because he has a whole music, the rap, soul package. He Has a platform where he talks nothing about nothing other than music. Just great music. Hip hop and R and B. You know what I mean? So just to try it one time and say oh this is what he meant. Go listen to it. Ain't hard to tell by NASA off of Edible. But nama. No. If I'm not. And I'm. If I'm not mistaken that's not even 12 cow's favorite track from that album is the Empire State. Empire State of Mind or something like that. One of the mother tracks is outside of my favorite one is his Go listen to it off of Edible and get. And get back to me 1906 look that up 12 cow and you closer to. I think they based on the east coast. They might even have stores or dispensaries with their brand in it. If not you can still order it. They'll deliver it to you. Trust me. They don't pay me for this. Go on in 1906 website. Look up the green one. They got it. No, not. Not the green one. I think it's the orange one. Is the bliss one. But why even just. Yeah, I want you to start with one. Yeah, let's just start with one. Let me just tell you. I mixed two or three of them together before I almost did my taxes. My. But there's. There's one. It's a micro dose. They're all two point. I think they either 2.0 or 2.5. 2.5 milligrams. Right? One. I. I think there's one that's like 2.5 but I think for the most part they're all like 2.0. No, no. I. I could have it flipped around. Is either 2.5 mostly or 2.0 mostly. You know what I mean? It might be a lower dosage. It might be a 2.0 doses or something. Maybe the loved one. Okay. That's like the sex one is to get you. Get you and your significant other aroused. But they have one for energy. They have one for happiness. They have one to help you support going to sleep in general. Like a boost a focus one which is the. I think it's the green one. I mixed the green one with the orange one. Dog that gave me superpowers. My like literally. I feel like reading several books. Trust me. 12 Cal. You gotta try 1906. Just order you some. Or do you summer and then. And then get back to me on that review or we might have to do a show about that. If you're willing to. To think about that. Let me know, and we could do a whole show on it. But I'm telling you right now, it. It heightens everything. Okay? I didn't hear one song and then I was high and then heard it again was like, maybe I'm tripping, you know what I'm saying? Like, nah, nah, if anything, you gonna like the song and then you're gonna hear the song high and you're gonna. You know what I'm saying? And sometimes it's not even about if you was high. Sometimes it's just the music that might make you dance might mean, might not be the music that you like in general. It's not like you're gonna be playing that shit in your car. It's not like you that particular artist, you got the albums you downloaded or even buy, but it's like a club song that you only probably would like inside of a club, you know what I'm saying? Now, if it was to come on while you was at home and you was high, you might end up dancing to it. But that doesn't mean you necessarily really like the track like that nor that artist. So it be like that, you know what I'm saying? But I can honestly tell you there is some plates out there that you'll just tear up because you were simply high. And then there's other plates that was well seasoned and put together and you ate while you was high and it tastes that much better. Yeah. So I hope that helped, you know what I mean? Like I said, I knew this wasn't going to take no hour to try to explain. Roughly 30 minutes or so. Yeah, I will give. Y' all have to try it or talk to the other. Talk to other people and see what their experiences is, you know what I mean? I know one night I was on the phone with my boy Goldie and Smash, you know, the Talker Brother podcast. And every year we would do a Thanksgiving episode about. Did you know, we would, you know, we'd freak up the topic from time to time, but it was like type top five, you know, Thanksgiving dishes or stuff that you should or shouldn't bring, etc, you know, getting creative with it. I remember us doing the episode and just being on the phone in general because I also played the video games with you guys and next thing you know, I end up making me three different things. I made two. The other one was a snack, but I had some Oreos. I was eating some Oreos. I made some apple, apple cinnamon oatmeal and some chicken cheese quesadillas. I made all of that and ate all of that at the same time. I even put the Oreo inside my apple cinnamon oatmeal at one point. Don't judge me. Shit happens, but it does that. It does that. You know what I mean? So on top of heightening whatever ingredients is in there, it also can cause you to fuck around and have a taste for different type of, you know, seasonings, you know what I'm saying? So be aware of that. To me, it will always be better than drinking a lot and shit like that. So, you know. But shout out to everybody that get they drink on, too. I hope that answered your question. 12 cows. A beautiful topic, dope topic, by the way, and hopefully somebody does come up with a actual podcast surrounding that particular topic. But if, you know, for the rest of y' all out there, man, if y' all come across some topics or whatever that y' all feel like I would be able to break down, then shoot it. You know what I'm saying? Make sure you send in the voice Memo just like 12cow did, and I'll see y' all when I see y', all, man. I'm about to go make me a grilled cheese with that strawberry on on the other side.
