Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Now if you don't know this about our dear Angie,
- 0:05Speaker 1: she is a Hallmark movie girly.
- 0:08Speaker 2: I live for a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie.
- 0:12Speaker 3: They feed muscles.
- 0:14Speaker 1: So there's I think nobody better to give us our
- 0:17Speaker 1: very own Big ninety eight point seven FM area Hallmark
- 0:22Speaker 1: Christmas movie script. Here on Big ninety eight point seven,
- 0:25Speaker 1: Angie asle I'll set the scene for you and let
- 0:27Speaker 1: you take it away here.
- 0:28Speaker 2: This is called a flicker of Fargo Christmas.
- 0:31Speaker 4: A flicker of Fargo Christmas. I'm excited already.
- 0:35Speaker 2: In snowy Fargo. Emma Larson closed up the coffee shop.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Ready to head home. She turns and nearly bumps into Jack. Jack,
- 0:47Speaker 2: you're back for Christmas, maybe for good. They walk under
- 0:53Speaker 2: the Fargo Theater sign. You left without saying goodbye. I
- 0:59Speaker 2: thought bigger city met bigger dreams, and now turns out
- 1:04Speaker 2: my dreams stayed here. A sudden pop, the Broadway Square
- 1:09Speaker 2: Christmas tree lights go out.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Oh no, not again. Let me try.
- 1:16Speaker 2: He fixes a small junction box. The lights blaze back on.
- 1:20Speaker 2: The crowd cheers and Jack returns. I know I can't
- 1:25Speaker 2: undo the past, but I can start making things right.
- 1:30Speaker 2: You always did, show up when it counted. Christmas just
- 1:34Speaker 2: didn't feel like Christmas without you, Oh Jack hands. A
- 1:39Speaker 2: tiny Fogo theater ornament. Found this in Denver. Made me
- 1:44Speaker 2: realize what I truly missed. Let me guess. Not the weather.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Definitely not the weather. You Emma steps closer. Fargo's big
- 1:59Speaker 2: on second chain answers, especially in the cold. So do
- 2:03Speaker 2: we try again? Yeah we can. They kiss under the
- 2:09Speaker 2: softly fallen snow, and in Fargo that night, Christmas brought
- 2:15Speaker 2: love home.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Celebrating life's little victories. Every morning we practice gratitude on
- 2:25Speaker 5: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 2:26Speaker 2: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 2:29Speaker 2: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Share your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 2:35Speaker 5: two eight oho one ninety eight seven.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Kids, I also needed to win that day. A big
- 2:41Speaker 4: shout out to Michelle.
- 2:42Speaker 1: This morning she has a little victory for us, and
- 2:44Speaker 1: this is so relatable. Someone else might do this today.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Oh all right, Michelle, she texted us. She said, this morning,
- 2:53Speaker 1: I was getting ready for the day and listening to
- 2:55Speaker 1: you guys. I was getting my uh and I was
- 2:57Speaker 1: getting my wark lunch, put in my topper. I can't
- 3:01Speaker 1: be the only persons whose Tupperware setup is a bunch
- 3:04Speaker 1: of mismatched bowls and lids every time.
- 3:07Speaker 4: It's exactly how I grew up.
- 3:09Speaker 1: And she said, well, this morning, after putting my food
- 3:12Speaker 1: in the Tupperware bowl, I grabbed the correct matching lid
- 3:18Speaker 1: on the first try. She said, sorry, I know this
- 3:20Speaker 1: is kind of ridiculous, but I wanted to share it
- 3:22Speaker 1: with someone because I was low key jack.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Now, this is amazing, awesome when you put the USB
- 3:29Speaker 2: like the cord into the USB port the right way.
- 3:32Speaker 4: The first shot.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Yes, oh my god, amazing, Michelle. Congratulations, that is quite
- 3:37Speaker 2: a victor.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I would totally agree with that, Angie. Do you have
- 3:40Speaker 1: a little victory here today?
- 3:41Speaker 4: Way to go, Michelle, Way to go, Michelle.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I do so for the first time, and I was
- 3:48Speaker 2: gonna say weeks was pritting more like a month and
- 3:50Speaker 2: a half. Not only did I get all my ten
- 3:53Speaker 2: thousand steps done yesterday, but I also did a full workout,
- 4:00Speaker 2: a full body full. Oh wow, I am unbelievably sore, Gabe.
- 4:07Speaker 3: But it feels good because that means it's working.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Yeah, it means you're working something.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Yeah, good for you. I think that's great. That's wonderful,
- 4:15Speaker 1: and you're doing it kind of at the perfect time.
- 4:18Speaker 4: You know.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Obviously there's gonna be an influx of people going to
- 4:20Speaker 1: the gym in January, which is great.
- 4:22Speaker 4: If you do that, stick with it.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I'm not trying to hate, but it is nice if
- 4:25Speaker 1: you can get ahead of the game a little bit.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Truthfully, it's because I waited really late. At the very
- 4:32Speaker 2: end of the month. I'm going on a cruise and
- 4:35Speaker 2: it's in Mexico. I gotta be in a bathing suit
- 4:38Speaker 2: soon to get it together.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah, there is nothing more motivating. And some people who
- 4:43Speaker 1: can just wake up and are self motivated twenty four
- 4:46Speaker 1: to seven. You yeah, me either. You are like a
- 4:50Speaker 1: machine and I am not. You know what is a
- 4:52Speaker 1: good motivating factor?
- 4:54Speaker 4: Time?
- 4:54Speaker 1: There is nothing more motivating than time and being up
- 4:58Speaker 1: against the clock, time running out. Yeah, exactly.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Finally I worked out. I just got to keep it going.
- 5:04Speaker 2: But I feel good about it. What about you getting.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Good for you? That's so interesting.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Mine also kind of involves a mini workout, but it's
- 5:09Speaker 1: not exactly the same. So yesterday it was pretty cold,
- 5:12Speaker 1: I took Winona for a walk around like five six o'clock.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And I don't know if she necessarily needs these, but
- 5:19Speaker 1: it makes me feel better when she has them on,
- 5:22Speaker 1: just because of all the salt that can get on
- 5:24Speaker 1: the road. But she has been wearing these like dog boots,
- 5:27Speaker 1: you know, little dog booties, so cute, and in general,
- 5:31Speaker 1: I kind of think she hates them. I don't think
- 5:33Speaker 1: she loves them, but I do know they feel a
- 5:36Speaker 1: lot better on her feet because I have taken her
- 5:38Speaker 1: for walks before, and you know, she kind of will
- 5:40Speaker 1: pick paws up and stuff, and I don't know if they're
- 5:42Speaker 1: cold or sensitive or whatever.
- 5:43Speaker 4: So we started doing boots last year.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Well yesterday was the first time in two winters now
- 5:50Speaker 1: where I put those little dog booties on my sweet
- 5:53Speaker 1: dog as I throw on.
- 5:54Speaker 4: The winter jacket, the snow pants, the boots.
- 5:57Speaker 1: The first time I put on her dog booties that
- 5:59Speaker 1: she didn't huff and puff and fuss about it. She
- 6:02Speaker 1: just sat there and let me put them on. So
- 6:04Speaker 1: either A, yeah, either A she's kind of getting used
- 6:08Speaker 1: to him, or B she's like, let me just get
- 6:10Speaker 1: through this so I can go on this walk.
- 6:11Speaker 4: For the love of God, Dad put the boots on.
- 6:13Speaker 2: The gosh ken your dog Wanona teach my kids a
- 6:17Speaker 2: thing or two about putting their shoes on.
- 6:28Speaker 1: We have reached that time of the year where when
- 6:32Speaker 1: you go bring your dog to the dog park or
- 6:35Speaker 1: you take your dog for a walk, maybe you're putting
- 6:37Speaker 1: a jacket on them. Maybe they kind of have finished
- 6:40Speaker 1: for maybe they need to wear dog booties like our dog, Wanona.
- 6:44Speaker 1: That has been something we've kind of built up for
- 6:46Speaker 1: the past two years. Yesterday I was able to get
- 6:49Speaker 1: those booties on for the first time and two winters
- 6:52Speaker 1: without her really husting and fussing about it, and we
- 6:55Speaker 1: enjoyed our dandy little walk. Now when it's cold like
- 6:57Speaker 1: yesterday it was like six degrees. Yeah, wears a jacket
- 7:01Speaker 1: on these walks.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, so cute.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Well it yeah, A lot of people say how cute
- 7:06Speaker 1: it is. But I do draw a line in the sand.
- 7:09Speaker 1: What Weanona wears the jacket out of necessity. There will
- 7:13Speaker 1: not be a glitten Christmas card with my dog dressed
- 7:18Speaker 1: up in some onesie voice, Santaz or whatever. That's where
- 7:22Speaker 1: I draw a line in the sand. I want to
- 7:24Speaker 1: know this morning, do you dress your dog up for
- 7:27Speaker 1: the holidays? Which can be very cute seven oh one
- 7:30Speaker 1: two eight zero one nine eight seven. I already feel
- 7:35Speaker 1: like I know the answer to this question, Angie. But
- 7:37Speaker 1: if you had yourself a little RfR running around the house,
- 7:42Speaker 1: is your little fred dog getting like a Christmas outfit?
- 7:47Speaker 3: One?
- 7:49Speaker 2: Because you know what, my kittles almost never dress up
- 7:55Speaker 2: in like the matching Christmas things I want them to do,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and they have more set right, like they can resist
- 8:02Speaker 2: me more. But if I had a little puppers who
- 8:06Speaker 2: you know, existed in my life, they would be wearing.
- 8:09Speaker 3: A holiday sweater.
- 8:10Speaker 1: That is that's so funny to think about, Like, oh,
- 8:13Speaker 1: I can't make my kids do it, but you know
- 8:15Speaker 1: who can?
- 8:16Speaker 4: The dog dot so great.
- 8:18Speaker 1: We did ask this on Facebook and Ashley said, well,
- 8:22Speaker 1: she was talking about the dog boots. She can't wait
- 8:24Speaker 1: until HER's come in the mail. Her little girl is
- 8:27Speaker 1: not a fan. Her labs are appreciating all the free
- 8:31Speaker 1: ice chunks clothes a must. So it sounds like Ashley's
- 8:35Speaker 1: dogs potentially are going to be getting some Christmas outfits.
- 8:38Speaker 1: We have cats at our house that I know every year,
- 8:42Speaker 1: just like the sun is going to rise in the
- 8:44Speaker 1: east and set in the west, Corey will buy some
- 8:47Speaker 1: outfit for a cat to try to get one of
- 8:49Speaker 1: them to wear it, and it inevitably fails.
- 8:53Speaker 3: It Like really, they've never done it.
- 8:55Speaker 4: They hate it. They'll put him on and just like
- 8:57Speaker 4: not walk just all that.
- 9:00Speaker 3: It's funny.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Rose in a irritation, and b it's like you better
- 9:04Speaker 1: not let anyone else see this outfit.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Well, GiB if Wanona has to wear a jacket and
- 9:10Speaker 2: booties for necessity for the walks, why don't you just
- 9:14Speaker 2: make those Christmas themed?
- 9:17Speaker 1: You know I can't argue that right now, but give
- 9:20Speaker 1: me five minutes and I'll have a better come back.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Okay. Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven?
- 9:25Speaker 1: Are you a fan of putting your dog all cute
- 9:27Speaker 1: or putting an outfit on your cute dog so you
- 9:31Speaker 1: can share it for extra likes on Instagram?
- 9:34Speaker 4: Let us tell this morning.
- 9:40Speaker 2: It finally happened. I never thought that it would.
- 9:44Speaker 4: But a millionaire.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Oh no, no, oh, I wish the aid my fifteen
- 9:50Speaker 2: year old.
- 9:51Speaker 3: That is very first detention.
- 9:54Speaker 4: No have you you're supposed to be proud of that? Well,
- 9:59Speaker 4: how does that work? As an uncle?
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:00Speaker 3: Maybe you would be proud of that. What did you
- 10:03Speaker 3: get detention for?
- 10:04Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight oh one to nine eight seven,
- 10:06Speaker 2: because I think the reason Aiden got detention was very silly.
- 10:11Speaker 3: He punched a kid in the face. No, he did not.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Uh So at his school, they're.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Really cracking down on tartis and towards the beginning of
- 10:21Speaker 2: the year, Aidan was tardy a few times, and I
- 10:24Speaker 2: get why he was tarty, because they can't carry backpacks,
- 10:28Speaker 2: so they're using lockers. And all of Aiden's classes, because
- 10:32Speaker 2: I went for the open house, are all completely across
- 10:36Speaker 2: from each other, Like he has to go from one
- 10:38Speaker 2: side of the school to the other and then back,
- 10:41Speaker 2: and then back and then back for all of his classes,
- 10:43Speaker 2: and if he needs something is to stop at his locker. First,
- 10:46Speaker 2: I get why this kid is tardy. So he was
- 10:49Speaker 2: tardy three times earlier in the school year, and we
- 10:53Speaker 2: got an email that was like, if your kid is tardy,
- 10:57Speaker 2: there's gonna be some consequences. So Aidan's last tar he
- 11:00Speaker 2: was October seventeenth.
- 11:03Speaker 3: What was the date, yesterday?
- 11:05Speaker 4: December first, December one.
- 11:07Speaker 3: I get an email from his school.
- 11:09Speaker 2: You are receiving this email because your child has three
- 11:13Speaker 2: or more attarties are truancs and they will have to
- 11:16Speaker 2: complete a detention. They have to complete this detention in
- 11:21Speaker 2: order to go to prom and in order to graduate.
- 11:24Speaker 2: If they don't complete the detention, then they can't do
- 11:27Speaker 2: either of those things. Now a freshman, he would have
- 11:30Speaker 2: four years four years to do it. He opted to
- 11:35Speaker 2: just get it out of the way yesterday. And so,
- 11:39Speaker 2: I mean, in the grand scheme of things, his first
- 11:42Speaker 2: detention is for something that I was well aware of
- 11:45Speaker 2: that I didn't even think was a big deal. So
- 11:49Speaker 2: it's fine, But did you ever get silly?
- 11:52Speaker 4: Question?
- 11:53Speaker 2: I know for a fact you got detention, Gabe. What
- 11:56Speaker 2: did you get detention?
- 11:57Speaker 4: Full? You changed the world?
- 11:59Speaker 2: Yeah, nous, I knew my verbiage was off as soon
- 12:02Speaker 2: as I looked over at your little mischievous smile.
- 12:05Speaker 3: What did you get attention for?
- 12:06Speaker 4: Well, the one that I thought was the most silly,
- 12:08Speaker 4: I'll share that. I'll share that one.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I once went to lunch and we had the most
- 12:16Speaker 1: freezing lunch room in the history of school district to
- 12:22Speaker 1: eighty one. Okay, it was freezing in there, despite all
- 12:27Speaker 1: of the things that used to make the food, and
- 12:30Speaker 1: there's a bunch of.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Kids in there. You buy the body heat.
- 12:34Speaker 1: It was cold, and I would I had a hood
- 12:37Speaker 1: on for lunch one day in the lunch room. It
- 12:40Speaker 1: just you know, kind of kept my head warm and YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I didn't feel like a big deal to me. Well,
- 12:45Speaker 1: mister Henderlight, yeah, I'll call you out by name. He
- 12:50Speaker 1: was like, hey, take the hood off, just always basically,
- 12:53Speaker 1: but take your hood off. And I took it off.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I went, oh, sorry, I kind of forgot YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 12:57Speaker 1: And so the next day I completely forgot about this
- 13:01Speaker 1: three second interaction with mister Henderlight.
- 13:06Speaker 4: And what do I do.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I walk on into the lunch room, I'm freezing, throw
- 13:10Speaker 1: my hood on, and he basically came behind me, grabbed
- 13:14Speaker 1: my sweater and brought me to This would be like
- 13:18Speaker 1: in school detention.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Right, so like in house suspension.
- 13:22Speaker 4: Yeah, but it was for like a class.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Oh okay, okay.
- 13:25Speaker 1: So but the problem was is there was like one
- 13:28Speaker 1: domino fell it led to the other, right, So I
- 13:30Speaker 1: had to go to iss in school suspension. Yeah, And
- 13:34Speaker 1: I had to eat my lunch in there alone, and
- 13:36Speaker 1: then I had to miss my math class because we
- 13:38Speaker 1: had lunch in the middle of math five minutes or
- 13:43Speaker 1: ever take a break and then finish it. The second
- 13:46Speaker 1: half after lunch, and then so I had to miss
- 13:49Speaker 1: that half. So then I got a tardy in an
- 13:51Speaker 1: absence and a no return to class.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 13:54Speaker 1: My parents were like, did you miss math class? And
- 13:56Speaker 1: you got suspended? And I was like, no, I went
- 14:00Speaker 1: to iss and it was My dad thought it was ridiculous,
- 14:04Speaker 1: of course, but I understand why kids couldn't have hoods on.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Then you know, maybe you had headphones on and you're
- 14:09Speaker 1: not supposed to be listening to class. And I get it,
- 14:12Speaker 1: and I understood it, But how stupid I got in
- 14:15Speaker 1: school suspension for my hood?
- 14:18Speaker 2: Now, Gabe, I agree with you, that was silly, But
- 14:23Speaker 2: tell us the detention you got that was absolutely warrened.
- 14:26Speaker 4: All right? That stories for a different time.
- 14:31Speaker 5: In the world of rules in gray Areas, one morning
- 14:34Speaker 5: show dares to ask the hard questions.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Is it illegal for a child to wear that much makeup?
- 14:39Speaker 4: Is it legal?
- 14:40Speaker 2: I understand, I understand it's funny as all get out,
- 14:42Speaker 2: but is it even legal.
- 14:44Speaker 4: On Big ninety eight point seven? So apparently.
- 14:52Speaker 1: It is not legal to ski behind someone's truck in Fargo,
- 14:57Speaker 1: which is shocking because for a while I thought that
- 15:00Speaker 1: was our official.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Winter sport here in the f matory.
- 15:03Speaker 1: All right, the snow hits, the roads turned mashed potatoes,
- 15:06Speaker 1: and suddenly every truck in the truck community as a
- 15:09Speaker 1: toe rope and a buddy in the back yelling send
- 15:13Speaker 1: it as he's sitting there behind the tailgate. But sadly,
- 15:18Speaker 1: no police say you cannot tie your cousin Trevor to
- 15:20Speaker 1: the hitch and drag him down twenty fifth Street like
- 15:22Speaker 1: it's the Winter X Games, North Dakota or Minnesota edition.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Apparently it's something called unsafe. It sounds unfun to me,
- 15:34Speaker 1: which is weird because Trevor only fell off twice last
- 15:37Speaker 1: time and the mailbox survived mostly. So remember, keep the
- 15:41Speaker 1: skis on the hills, the trucks well without Trevor in
- 15:46Speaker 1: the back round from and you know what, just leave
- 15:49Speaker 1: Trevor where he can't hurt himself, all right, stay safe,
- 15:52Speaker 1: Fargo not know this, but North Dakota one of the
- 16:03Speaker 1: best in the entire country when it comes to our
- 16:07Speaker 1: road conditions. No, obviously, if it snows or gets icy,
- 16:12Speaker 1: that's a different type of weather. Yeah, that's a different
- 16:14Speaker 1: type of condition. Ranking the state roads worst to best,
- 16:21Speaker 1: North Dakota comes in at number four. There are only
- 16:26Speaker 1: three other states who supposedly have better roads there.
- 16:29Speaker 3: What are those states?
- 16:31Speaker 4: It would be Wyoming, Okay, Alaska.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Okay, there's no one in Alaska the driver, that's why
- 16:39Speaker 2: they're so good.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Vermont and Delaware, I be honest. Delaware is the size
- 16:46Speaker 1: of like more Head. There's no one there either, Right,
- 16:48Speaker 1: that's an entire state.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Well, I was just making sure that it didn't say
- 16:52Speaker 2: Las Vegas because I grew up on the streets of
- 16:55Speaker 2: Las Vegas and those were the worst.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Yeah, North Dakota doing pretty good. So that got me thinking,
- 17:00Speaker 1: we can't complain about roads. Yeah, we can complain when
- 17:03Speaker 1: it maybe gets cold a little bit. It's just something
- 17:06Speaker 1: you sort of adapt to being a Minnesota kid growing up.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Angie learned in kind of her first winter here in
- 17:11Speaker 1: the FM area. What is something you would improve on
- 17:15Speaker 1: where you live? Seven oh one two eight zero one
- 17:17Speaker 1: nine eight seven. And I'm not talking about your state. Okay,
- 17:20Speaker 1: this could be your apartment building, this could be your
- 17:24Speaker 1: your house there, hla, your ho exactly your neighborhood. What
- 17:29Speaker 1: would you do seven oh one two eight zero one
- 17:31Speaker 1: nine eight seven. Hey, it is the time of giving.
- 17:34Speaker 1: You never know someone might be listening and do something
- 17:36Speaker 1: about it, all right, Bryce, What would you do to
- 17:39Speaker 1: improve where you're living?
- 17:40Speaker 4: Man?
- 17:40Speaker 2: We could definitely use speed bumps on certain roads.
- 17:43Speaker 3: People need to slow down.
- 17:45Speaker 5: We got to be more careful out there.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Why is everyone in such a huge rush?
- 17:49Speaker 1: Anyway, there are some roads that I know it would
- 17:51Speaker 1: drive people absolutely nuts. But I would say, especially in
- 17:55Speaker 1: downtown Fargo, that could potentially.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Use some speed bumps. There are people who drive and
- 18:01Speaker 4: I drive like that. I like an old man, but.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Oh, I know, I kind of love that about you.
- 18:05Speaker 4: All right, Tera, what would you improve?
- 18:08Speaker 2: Our apartment complex needs better maintenance.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Things break and.
- 18:11Speaker 2: They just sit for weeks.
- 18:12Speaker 5: Like the elevator has had a sign on it for
- 18:14Speaker 5: over two months that it's temporarily broken.
- 18:18Speaker 4: They've got him only on the second floor.
- 18:20Speaker 1: That's exactly like something in the Big Bang Theory. Didn't
- 18:23Speaker 1: they have an elevator that just never worked.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Oh I never watched that. I will say.
- 18:27Speaker 2: My property management company, they're always on top of things.
- 18:31Speaker 3: So maybe move over to my hood, all right.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Sol Bargo wearing's hat. John got pink slips for going
- 18:44Speaker 1: too fast in his wheelchair in the hallways. Just picturing
- 18:49Speaker 1: that makes me laugh, John, I like your sense of humor. Yeah,
- 18:51Speaker 1: that's a great reason to get detention.
- 18:54Speaker 3: It's cool.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Aiden got detention and he served it yesterday, But it's
- 18:59Speaker 2: because the school's cracking down on tartes and three or
- 19:03Speaker 2: more tartis gets you into detention. His last tarty, by
- 19:07Speaker 2: the way, was in October. But they decided while everyone
- 19:10Speaker 2: gets detention, doesnt matter when the tartis were and so
- 19:13Speaker 2: he served his detention.
- 19:15Speaker 3: And that's not a very cool reason to get.
- 19:17Speaker 1: To Yeah, and Aiden would be Angie's fifteen year old son.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Oh yes, of course, not just some random I met
- 19:25Speaker 2: on the st Was.
- 19:26Speaker 4: This his first detention?
- 19:27Speaker 2: His very first ever detention? And honestly, I joke, oh gosh.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Hung those game, Aiden, those are rookie numbers. Okay, we
- 19:35Speaker 1: gotta bump those up a little bit.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I joke that it's for like a dumber like not
- 19:40Speaker 2: a cool reason to get detention. But I'm glad that
- 19:43Speaker 2: it wasn't anything serious. I only got detention one time
- 19:47Speaker 2: in my life, and it was in eighth grade and
- 19:51Speaker 2: it was because I was in Miss Virgil's health class.
- 19:55Speaker 3: That's right, I'm calling you out, Miss Virgil, or like.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Miss Virgil's Hell Escape. Okay, yeah, exactly.
- 20:00Speaker 3: It was like.
- 20:01Speaker 2: The truth is, I was such a good student and
- 20:04Speaker 2: I happened to forget my glasses that day. So where
- 20:07Speaker 2: my seat was, I couldn't see the board to take
- 20:09Speaker 2: down the notes. So I got up and I moved
- 20:11Speaker 2: to a closer desk to take the notes, and she immediately,
- 20:15Speaker 2: what are you doing out of your sheet? I have
- 20:19Speaker 2: to see the board. I can't see the board. I'm
- 20:21Speaker 2: trying to take the notes. No one said you could
- 20:24Speaker 2: get out of your seat. And then I said to her, well,
- 20:29Speaker 2: what the Frankfurter am I supposed to do?
- 20:32Speaker 3: But I did not say Frankfurter. Yeah, I said a
- 20:34Speaker 3: different F word.
- 20:35Speaker 4: It's like in a Christmas story. I didn't say fudge.
- 20:38Speaker 3: See exactly, So immediately Detention.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Danielle on our Facebook page. She said, first time in
- 20:45Speaker 1: my entire life, I spent the entire hour of Spanish
- 20:47Speaker 1: class talking to my boyfriend who's now her husband.
- 20:50Speaker 4: By the way, that's a cute story because she.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Was grounded and couldn't call from home, reported to attention,
- 20:56Speaker 1: and the principle looked at me and asked, what are
- 20:59Speaker 1: you doing here? She told him why, and he said, Oh,
- 21:04Speaker 1: just go home. That's I love that I have a
- 21:06Speaker 1: principle in your back pocket.
- 21:08Speaker 3: I hope the principal was invited to the wedding.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Some good.
- 21:16Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 21:20Speaker 5: good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 21:25Speaker 1: A retire Fargo inventor is giving tic tac toe a
- 21:30Speaker 1: fresh twist with his new three D stacking game tick
- 21:35Speaker 1: stack Toe.
- 21:37Speaker 3: I like it.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I like it already, huh. Ron Bergen, who's eighty two.
- 21:40Speaker 1: He used his background in entrepreneurship and three D printing
- 21:44Speaker 1: to create the compact twenty five dollars game, which he
- 21:48Speaker 1: says is perfect for everyone from five year olds to
- 21:51Speaker 1: one hundred and five year olds. He says inventing keeps
- 21:55Speaker 1: retirement fun, calling this project better than retirement. Tick stack
- 22:01Speaker 1: Coe is available at Mindak Market in West Acres, Sons
- 22:04Speaker 1: of Norway Shields, and online.

- 22:14Speaker 3: I'm better do something dramatic here.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I think at the end there Ron was playing his
- 22:21Speaker 1: biggest challengers, and that's kids in his neighborhood. Games only
- 22:26Speaker 1: take a couple of minutes to play. Wait to go,
- 22:28Speaker 1: Ron that's the Christmas spirit. If I've ever heard it,
- 22:30Speaker 1: I love it all right. The world's full of nice people.
- 22:33Speaker 1: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
