- 0:22Speaker 1: So tell us, governor, what else can we do for you?
- 0:28Speaker 1: I got it from here.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode of Better.
- 0:53Speaker 1: So Hangulay Talks.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Today I'm going to talk to you, continue to talk to you about what did the Bible truly say about people with disabilities?
- 1:03Speaker 1: Today, I want to show you how God used people with disabilities to accomplish his mission.
- 1:10Speaker 1: The first one is Moses.
- 1:12Speaker 1: It's why this speech has been meant in the past.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Use him to accomplish his mission.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Exodus 4, 10-12.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Moses said to the Lord pardon your servant.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Lord, I have never been arrogant, neither in the past nor since you've spoken to your servant.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I am slow with speech and tongue.
- 1:46Speaker 1: The Lord said to him who gave human beings their mouths?
- 1:53Speaker 1: Who makes them death, or mutants?
- 1:57Speaker 1: Who gives them sight or makes them blind?
- 2:02Speaker 1: Is it not I, the Lord?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Now go, I will help you speak and teach you what you have to say.
- 2:12Speaker 1: You see, this encourages me because, like I said before on the podcast, I am at a speech problem during my self-apologizing.
- 2:23Speaker 1: But scripture shows us that, no matter what, if you have a speech problem, or if you study or stumble on words, god is going to use you for his glory and I hope we can all learn that here through the Bible.
- 2:46Speaker 1: The next one is Jeremiah.
- 2:48Speaker 1: It's all through the Persian Limitation 3, 17-20.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I have been deprived of peace.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I have gotten what prosperity is.
- 3:04Speaker 1: So I say my splendor is gone and all that I had Hope to pun the Lord.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I remember my afflictions and my wandering business in the girl and I will remember them in my soul as downcast within the scripture, talking about feeling alone when you're not alone.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But the devil tries to think you're alone so you can feel like you're isolated.
- 3:45Speaker 1: But what I found in my walk of faith is if we feel like we're alone, we can share our story and how we got out of that lonely place.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Now God is prosperous for bigger and better things.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Next one is Paul, the son of the born and the design, 2nd Olympians, 12, 8, 9.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Three times I freely would lower and take it away from me.
- 4:19Speaker 1: But he said to me my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Therefore I would both, all the way, gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ's power may rest upon me.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So you see, god uses our weaknesses for His glory and His strength.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I know for me, sometimes I forget about this and I wonder about the worst-case scenario, but more times than not, it's a good reminder that God uses our weaknesses for His glory and he is able to come in and kind of help us along.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And that's why God lets us help weaknesses, I believe, so that we can rely on Him and we can also through Him.
- 5:26Speaker 1: I can do this, just like through Him, I can speak to y'all and I trust that this series embeds Embed only y'all like it's embedded in me, I would say, because of my struggles and because of my doubts.
- 5:48Speaker 1: We all have doubts, but it's a good reminder that God is always with us.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Yes, we're going to have our good days and bad days, but God is always with us and God is already burning new obstacles and challenges.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Always remember this.
- 6:13Speaker 1: God knows what your challenges are and he can put the people in your life that help you overcome those challenges.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Sometimes you need to pray for passion to get over those challenges and not get discouraged or not get defeated.
- 6:36Speaker 1: So I hope this is a good reminder to keep pushing despite your challenges and despite your struggles, just like everybody says when they're preaching I don't know if we struggle or if God does, and that's true.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I don't know if we struggle or if God does, but just know God uses your struggle to impact other people and so there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
