Transcript
- 0:02Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Eye Opener Society and welcome back to another
- 0:07guided meditation series.
- 0:09My name is Gary Dean. I want to thank you for joining me here in this space
- 0:13that's for you to relax and enjoy.
- 0:19Let us all focus in on ourselves.
- 0:23This is something we don't always do. And this is a very important lesson that I must teach to you.
- 0:30We as individuals all need our own time and our own space.
- 0:35We need to actually be able to experience ourselves.
- 0:43We do this through meditation. And whenever we start, whenever we're getting
- 0:48ready for a session, whenever I tell you, you know, find your comfortable spot,
- 0:52this is what we're doing. We're seeking ourselves.
- 0:57If we're able to reach inside of us, find our soul, find our center,
- 1:03ground ourselves, this is the space that we really want to be in.
- 1:08Our physical environment around us, that's one thing.
- 1:12But what we're really doing when we're getting into a meditative state is we're
- 1:17actually focusing in amongst ourselves, our deeper selves, our truer selves.
- 1:25So whenever you're trying to get comfortable or in that position,
- 1:29you know, that makes you feel good and you're ready to go.
- 1:34You are now going to concentrate deeper inside of yourself.
- 1:41Find that center. Find that place.
- 1:44That is where we go when we meditate.
- 1:48So, why don't we try doing that? And why don't we do it through a guided meditation session?
- 1:54I think that will be the best way to get through something like this.
- 1:57And I think it's something important that we learn so that we'll be able to
- 2:02do it each and every time when we're getting ready to get into our meditative state. So, focus.
- 2:09And we start just by concentrating on our breathing, our own breath.
- 2:16Again, we're not taking deep breaths. We're not inhaling deeply.
- 2:20We're just focused on our breath.
- 2:25The more we do that, the more centered we become.
- 2:31When we do this, what we're actually doing is drawing attention to ourself rather
- 2:39than just trying to relax or to focus.
- 2:43We're drawing attention to ourselves, our physical self. This is where we want to be.
- 2:48So we do that by just concentrating on our own breath.
- 2:55And we feel that breath.
- 3:00We become much more aware of who we are now.
- 3:05We start to take notice of ourself in this moment.
- 3:12And this is the point where we like to get ourselves grounded.
- 3:16We know where we are and we're focused.
- 3:24So, by concentrating on our breath, we are focusing in on our center,
- 3:32our souls, the deeper, truer self, rather than just our physical body.
- 3:38The physical breathing reminds us of our physical body, and it reminds us of
- 3:43our center, and it takes us there, and then we go deeper.
- 3:50So go deeper with me. Let's go inside now.
- 3:56We're shutting out the outside world. We're shutting out the physical environment around us.
- 4:02And we're here with our breath.
- 4:06And that's the only sound we should be listening to other than my voice,
- 4:10which is nothing more than a guide leading you onto a journey.
- 4:17Feel your breath. you can physically feel your breathing.
- 4:24You can feel your lungs expand, your chest rise and fall, or if you're a belly
- 4:30breather, you feel your belly rising and falling, and we're very, very aware of this.
- 4:39And as we breathe, our other senses start to take place, much like smelling,
- 4:45and we can smell the air around us.
- 4:48I have incense burning. And if you have the same or just whatever it is,
- 4:54we're concentrating on these things. And we're only concentrating that on them within us.
- 5:01Again, outside of the physical properties of wherever it is you are.
- 5:06We are finding our center and we're closing in into our breathing system.
- 5:12And we're very aware of it.
- 5:16Notice how it just works on its own. We don't have to think about it in order for it to work.
- 5:23All we're doing is concentrating on it, listening to it, feeling it.
- 5:31And as we get deeper, and we become more focused and more grounded to our centers,
- 5:40we could go deeper inside.
- 5:43There's an emptier space somewhere within us.
- 5:47That empty space is not really empty. It's containing our souls.
- 5:52It contains our consciousness. this is where our true self is.
- 6:00Let's open the door, walk inside, and explore it a little bit.
- 6:07As we open up that door, what we're going to notice is that we're stepping into
- 6:13a very cosmic world where everything and anything all comes together.
- 6:20We're in the center of that wide, vast, cosmic journey,
- 6:27so again, it's not really empty space it's a world full of anything and everything
- 6:34that you can imagine possible how does it get inside of us?
- 6:40What triggers our consciousness?
- 6:44These are questions we can ask ourselves while we are here We may come up with
- 6:50the answer Or we may be guided to other knowledge.
- 6:56But let's float around in here Because time and space does not exist Gravity does not exist,
- 7:04Everything and anything that you thought you knew You don't anymore This is
- 7:11a world where anything can happen,
- 7:13Anything can be created our own inside our own consciousness this vast world of absolute beauty is.
- 7:29We are now wondering why and how our body is able to contain all of this.
- 7:38It's almost like two separate dimensions, our physical world and the physical properties around us.
- 7:45And then our consciousness, our inner soul, is so much larger than anything can ever be imagined.
- 7:54And somehow, it is inside of us.
- 7:58Let's reflect on that let's think about that,
- 8:06let us give thanks to that because in honesty with all of that that is inside
- 8:14of us that entire cosmos inside of our bodies,
- 8:20it's telling us just how strong and how powerful we are.
- 8:28Reflect on that again, and let's do an affirmation.
- 8:35I embody the entire cosmos within me.
- 8:42Say that over again. I embody the entire cosmos inside of me.
- 8:50Reaffirm that. Embrace it.
- 8:56Understand it.
- 9:00Notice how inside of this world, just how peaceful we are.
- 9:08If we wish to have noise, confusion, fun, entertainment, we could draw that
- 9:15up instantly right here in our consciousness.
- 9:19We don't need much else.
- 9:24So whatever it is that you want whatever it is you are trying to achieve now
- 9:32is the time to do it envision it picture it,
- 9:40it doesn't matter how wild it
- 9:42is it doesn't matter how imaginary it is think it and you will become it,
- 9:51play with it. It's very fun in here.
- 9:57You don't have to worry about any kind of nonsense, any kind of suppression.
- 10:04Just be what it is you want to be here.
- 10:13Colors are limitless. Here you could create colors that are outside of our own
- 10:20spectrum that our eyes see.
- 10:22We can create it here.
- 10:26Sounds well beyond our frequency range of hearing can be heard here.
- 10:33Images so far from the imagination can be drawn up right here.
- 10:43And if you notice just how easy it was to get into your center,
- 10:49just focusing on your breathing for a few moments, then turning and looking inside of yourself,
- 10:58it's always here. You can always come and reflect on it whenever you like.
- 11:06This is your body. This is your soul. You are in control of it.
- 11:12You control when you would like to be inside of this When you want to be in
- 11:16a meditative state Or whenever you want to go outside of this state It's up
- 11:22to you You control it You work it.
- 11:29Let's play here for a while Keep drawing up your pictures While even though
- 11:36this is a guided meditation I'm allowing you to draw up your own visions right now.
- 11:44You are inside of your consciousness, not I.
- 11:49Again, I am nothing more than a voice walking you through an experience.
- 11:57So have fun. Be playful.
- 12:03Envision things that are fun, enjoyable, and distract you from the outside world and play in it.
- 12:12Enjoy it. Embrace it. It is all yours.
- 12:20It's amazing the things you can see. It's amazing the things you can draw up.
- 12:28I want you to remember while you're in this space now, this is all yours and it's accessible.
- 12:37Just turn your vision inside of yourself.
- 12:43Spend a few moments there whenever you want just to remind yourself it's ready.
- 12:50It's accessible, and you can enjoy it whenever you like.
- 13:03Now, you have experienced just what it is that's inside of you.
- 13:10And just as easy as it was to come inside, it's just as easy to leave.
- 13:17You're fully grounded. You return yourself to your breathing.
- 13:25And you start to remember your body.
- 13:33Where it is, where you are right now, and you're relaxed.
- 13:40You're comfortable. You're in peace, and you are safe.
- 13:48So as you return back, you still feel your consciousness because your consciousness
- 13:56is what's keeping you focused on everything. thing.
- 14:02If it gets too distracted, just look in again deeper inside of yourself so you
- 14:08can pick up what it is you need to focus on.
- 14:13I hope you enjoyed this little journey. Again, my name is Gary Dean.
