- 0:10Hey there, this is Deep Program with Ted Rall
- 0:12and Jamarl Thomas for Wednesday, October 14,
- 0:152026. Thank you so much for joining us. We have
- 0:19a full two -hour show today, so we go all the
- 0:22way from 9 a .m. until 11 a .m. So please like,
- 0:26follow, and share. You know the rest. Here's
- 0:27what we've got for you this morning. We have
- 0:31Donald Trump just found out that the guy he wants
- 0:36to execute on live television on the Internet
- 0:39is in a wheelchair um we'll talk about that he
- 0:43didn't know and so that's making him reconsider
- 0:46because as the new york times says he is very
- 0:51concerned about optics i'm like okay how okay
- 0:56my question i'm previewing my question my pre
- 0:59my question is If you don't even know something
- 1:02as basic as the fact that the guy was shot in
- 1:05the ass and is now sitting in a wheelchair since
- 1:072009, I don't think you know enough about him
- 1:13to sign off on killing him. That's what I think.
- 1:16If you don't know anything about someone, it's
- 1:18like I met this British reporter in Afghanistan,
- 1:22and he was like, you know, if you Americans can't
- 1:25identify three cities in a country, you shouldn't
- 1:27be allowed to bomb it. And I said, we wouldn't
- 1:29be able to bomb anyone. We wouldn't be able to
- 1:31bomb Canada then under those rules. But I still
- 1:33think it's a good rule. Anyway, we'll get into
- 1:37that. We'll get into it. We'll do it right after
- 1:41I preview everything here. Also, Cornell has
- 1:46suspended all frat parties. So I know this affects
- 1:49your plans for the rest of the year tomorrow
- 1:51and mine. I don't know how I'm going to reschedule
- 1:54my party plans, but that's a hard hitting. Cornell
- 1:57University, taking rape seriously and rape culture
- 2:01seriously. No frat parties. Sorority, no word
- 2:03on sorority parties. I guess those are go. That's
- 2:09totally it. Yeah, maybe they can like rape a
- 2:14dude. Like, hey, free dick upstairs. A total
- 2:21Jamaral story that I put in just for you. Scientists
- 2:25say it might be time to move. There are apparently
- 2:28super -Earths that might be even more habitable
- 2:32than the Earth, with thicker atmospheres, better
- 2:35climates, better magnetic shields. So maybe it's
- 2:38time to pack up and go. The Houthis are kicking
- 2:41the Saudis' asses. We'll talk about that. The
- 2:44Houthis are kicking the Saudis' asses six ways
- 2:46till Sunday. Not only is the airport closed now,
- 2:49the oil facilities are under threat in Daran.
- 2:55Even so, the Saudis think it's a good idea to
- 2:58strike back at Sanaa. That's not turning out
- 3:01to be true. Also, there was a false alarm, a
- 3:06false hijack code in Germany. caused the Nuremberg
- 3:09airport to get shut down. And, you know, I have
- 3:12questions about how this bodes about AI and,
- 3:15you know, when you have more and more autonomous
- 3:17systems that are going to be triggering things
- 3:19like this. I mean, Germany almost went to DEFCON
- 3:224 over this. And one year after the Gaza, quote
- 3:27unquote, ceasefire scare quotes intentional,
- 3:30residents say that. Basically, nothing's happened.
- 3:33There's been no reconstruction. Israelis are
- 3:35still bombing them every single day. The war
- 3:38never ended. 65 % of the population still lives
- 3:41in tents. And last but not least, especially
- 3:44for us, Germany's Nord Stream 2 pipeline sabotage
- 3:48trial is underway. And we'll talk about that.
- 3:53So a lot to talk about. Oh, and we have a friend
- 3:56of the show. uh laith fidel uh political analyst
- 4:00and uh war correspondent will be uh calling in
- 4:03live from uh israeli occupied lebanon so that's
- 4:08cool lake maroof i'm a roof sorry sorry differently
- 4:12yeah and he's in beirut i believe okay okay he'll
- 4:16be in beirut okay thank you Cool. So, yeah, I
- 4:21mean, the situation in Beirut, I mean, in Lebanon
- 4:24definitely needs to be updated. So that is cool.
- 4:28Looking forward to that for sure. All right.
- 4:30So I guess we want to talk about the executions
- 4:35first, right? Yeah, let's start there. Let's
- 4:38start there. You made the point of saying that
- 4:40if a person doesn't know something about them,
- 4:42that the person shouldn't necessarily be involved
- 4:44in killing the person. I don't know why the wheelchair
- 4:47would matter. I think it's kind of. Not racist,
- 4:51but what is the word? Ableist? Ableist, yes.
- 4:56I think it's very ableist to say you can't shoot
- 4:58a man in a wheelchair. Just to watch him die.
- 5:03Right. I'm trying to say the wheelchair shouldn't
- 5:06matter. It's very ableist to say that the person
- 5:08shouldn't be able to do this. It's like if it
- 5:10was like a blind guy that, a blind mass murderer
- 5:15would be an event. Right? Right. Like, whoa,
- 5:19you've... move the needle for blind people in
- 5:23committing mass murder. Yeah, you can't turn
- 5:27around and say, well, we can't shoot the guy
- 5:28because he's in a wheelchair. Just because a
- 5:30man's visually impaired doesn't mean he shouldn't
- 5:32be able to go on a shooting spree at a public
- 5:34school. Right. If you're going to kill him, you've
- 5:39got to kill him. It is what it is. Also, they
- 5:42do know something about him. They know that he
- 5:44killed a bunch of people at the military base.
- 5:46Whether he's in a wheelchair or not is secondary
- 5:47to that. It's like saying, well, Hitler kept
- 5:49the trains running. And it's like, yeah, but
- 5:51the genocide thing matters more, right? It doesn't
- 5:53matter about the trains. It's the genocide. It's
- 5:55kind of that. Obviously, you've never waited
- 5:59hours for a train that never came. Fair enough.
- 6:04I'm just saying the relevant part to this is
- 6:06the number of people that he killed, less about
- 6:08the fact he's in a wheelchair. And if you're
- 6:10going to kill a man. then him being in a wheelchair
- 6:12shouldn't matter i mean and for the and for the
- 6:16record he ended up in that wheelchair in the
- 6:18process of killing people right like the cops
- 6:21responded and shot him you know while he was
- 6:23shooting people yeah right right he didn't roll
- 6:26in there and open fire do you think they're going
- 6:29to really do this i mean again is beginning to
- 6:34say like look um i told trent to write the headline
- 6:38like will trump taco again um it it feels like
- 6:41he's gonna crap out right i mean it really seems
- 6:44and i mean to me look this raises it's absurd
- 6:47the whole thing is outlandish and absurd um and
- 6:50and the idea of how they're like why why'd they
- 6:54choose him doing it live stream you know why
- 6:58does it matter like you said that he's in a wheelchair
- 7:00because it'll look like oh It'll look sad. Well,
- 7:03yeah, it'll look sad because you're killing it,
- 7:05dude. And yes, it will look a little more sad
- 7:08when you either are pulling him out of a wheelchair
- 7:11to strap him up to a pole or just shooting him
- 7:14in the chair either way. I get the optics, I
- 7:17mean, for sure. But to me, this raises a lot
- 7:19of questions. Can you hear me, Ted? Okay, I think
- 7:28Ted is frozen. Or is it me frozen? I can't tell.
- 7:33It's you. I don't know which one of us is frozen.
- 7:36It's you. Yeah. Thank you. There, you're back.
- 7:41But I mean, I don't see how you can have a president
- 7:44who has the power of life and death over millions
- 7:47of people to be so fucking ignorant and stupid
- 7:50that he doesn't know something as basic as this,
- 7:53you know, in terms of like the status of the,
- 7:56I mean, he wasn't briefed on this guy. He wasn't
- 7:59said, you know, he wasn't told like Nadal Hassan.
- 8:02Okay, so this is the story. He killed 13 people.
- 8:04He entered 30 more. okay we don't we know those
- 8:08things okay it's his job to know those things
- 8:12it's our job too but i mean it's really his job
- 8:16to know it and he's better paid than we are um
- 8:18you know i mean it's just i don't know it's just
- 8:21shouldn't he know that shouldn't he have known
- 8:24that yeah of course i mean do you think hexup
- 8:28threw this out without telling donald trump that
- 8:30he was going to execute him on live stream thank
- 8:32you That's the that is exactly the most important.
- 8:35I mean, seriously, like the outlandishness of
- 8:37it is is hilarious and we can make jokes about
- 8:39it all day long. But the no, I mean, I think
- 8:42that's the interesting thing. I think what we're
- 8:45witnessing here is an administrative style that
- 8:48reminds me of when you when you read about Hitler's
- 8:50administration style, take Hitler's politics
- 8:53out of it. Hitler was kind of a lazy guy and
- 8:57he didn't really he wasn't a good administrator.
- 8:59He slept late. stayed up until 3 in the morning
- 9:02and often wouldn't drag his ass out of bed until
- 9:0511 in the morning. And he had the lifestyle of
- 9:09an artist, basically. And one of the ways that
- 9:14he kind of dealt with that is he created a management
- 9:17style called working toward the Fuhrer. So in
- 9:21other words, he encouraged everybody in his administration
- 9:24to compete against each other. for his favor
- 9:27like you guys come up with the ideas you know
- 9:30what i'm into you know my bag you know my jam
- 9:33you do your thing and like you know probably
- 9:37it'll be okay because you know we know each other
- 9:39and if you're and if you're wrong in the middle
- 9:42of the night i'll drag you out of bed uh from
- 9:45your gay lover and shoot you in you know in the
- 9:47night of the long knives but if i'm right yeah
- 9:50it'll be fine until it's not right and yeah it
- 9:53was called they called it in germany working
- 9:55your way toward the furor And I think that's
- 9:58what Hegseth did here. I think Hegseth didn't
- 10:00check in with anyone. You know, Trump is basically
- 10:03lazy. He doesn't he doesn't he doesn't want to
- 10:06know all the details. He's not a micromanager
- 10:08like Jimmy Carter or Lyndon Johnson. He's like
- 10:12one of those guys that just fucking do it. You
- 10:14know, I'm busy with executive time right now
- 10:16in the Oval Office. I don't have any. Do it.
- 10:19And then it's like, wait, you did what? you know
- 10:22we've had that boss right you have carte blanche
- 10:26wait you what so i mean you know carte blanche
- 10:30is carte blanche carte blanche is really truly
- 10:32do whatever you want um and you know when bosses
- 10:36say that they don't really mean it they expect
- 10:37you to read their mind and i think you know the
- 10:41problem with hegseth is he's not really a bright
- 10:43guy and so you know i can't imagine i mean If
- 10:47I were buddies with Hegseth, I would have been
- 10:50like, come on, Pete. Like, you know, Trump, it's
- 10:53all about optics. He's not going to like the
- 10:56wheelchair thing. I've mentioned the wheelchair
- 10:57thing here a bunch of times, right? I was like,
- 11:00that's a big component of it because it's all
- 11:02about optics. You're going to shoot a dude, you
- 11:04know, for the first time in public, right? On
- 11:07the internet. The first time in 90 years. And
- 11:11last time, last time it went really badly in
- 11:13Kentucky when you guys basically legally lynched
- 11:16a black dude and the guy who hung him was drunk.
- 11:19And it was so bad that even without the Internet,
- 11:22the newspaper guys like wrote up how embarrassing
- 11:25it was and they didn't do it anymore. So, yeah,
- 11:27you've got to be and you just had this, you know,
- 11:29fiasco in Tennessee that was only wasn't on the
- 11:32Internet, but it was witnessed by enough people
- 11:35to make it a disaster. I mean, you know, I mean.
- 11:39I think little Petey just basically, he went
- 11:42off, he didn't think it through. He went rogue.
- 11:46I think the odds are Trump is going to taco on
- 11:48this. It didn't seem like Trump did. I mean,
- 11:52it didn't seem like Trump did. I mean, because
- 11:54people when they asked him, he was like, ugh,
- 11:56I don't know. And he's been getting a lot of
- 11:58shit for this, by the way. Apparently a bunch
- 11:59of Republicans are like, this is barbaric. We
- 12:01should kill him, but I don't want to see it.
- 12:03And my thing is like, why don't you want to see
- 12:05it? Like, why are we doing this? You and I are
- 12:08on the same page. We've always wanted to. We
- 12:10believe this should be public. It should be live
- 12:14streamed. If we're going to kill people, and
- 12:16it's going to be done by the state. Yeah. Kill
- 12:21the guy in his wheelchair. Yeah, kill the guy
- 12:24in his wheelchair. On live stream. This is the
- 12:27death penalty. And honestly, it should be, it
- 12:29will be done during the day. According to Pete,
- 12:32little Pete, it's going to be at the same time,
- 12:34one o 'clock in the afternoon as before the shooting
- 12:36same day of the week. Oh, the symbolism is so
- 12:39resonant. Dramatic theatrical. So gay. So gay.
- 12:47And it's like, yeah, it's like, so. All right.
- 12:50I mean, maybe Pete should lead the firing squad
- 12:52himself. I think that'd be good. I assume he
- 12:55knows how to shoot a gun. yeah totally cool um
- 12:58you know and and they should i think it should
- 13:01be you know it should be it should be all school
- 13:04kids should have to watch it down you know pre
- 13:06-k you know head start program everybody everybody's
- 13:11got to watch it i don't know but gotta watch
- 13:13it i don't know how you force people to watch
- 13:15it i just put it on they can close their eyes
- 13:17they want you get it you get an f automatic f
- 13:21in the in that day in that day's class if you
- 13:23don't if you keep your eyes closed shit too wait
- 13:28kids watch this right i mean obviously i mean
- 13:35it's it but the thing is it's it's it's it's
- 13:37fucking ludicrous i mean just this whole like
- 13:40wait i didn't know yeah that's just that's what
- 13:44do you mean you didn't know how do you not consult
- 13:47the president when you're saying we're going
- 13:48to execute somebody live on tv in this very dramatic
- 13:51theatrical way yeah like like like mr president
- 13:56I have an idea. There's something, like at the
- 14:00cabinet meeting, oh, by the way, I need to ask
- 14:02you about something. I mean, it would have only
- 14:05taken like 30 seconds. Like, hey, so what do
- 14:08you think? And wait, is this on YouTube? Or is
- 14:10this just, when he says live stream, he's talking
- 14:12about like C -SPAN or something. Well, he said
- 14:14live stream, so I don't know if it would be.
- 14:16It seems like it would, you and I have had enough
- 14:18problems with YouTube that it seems like it might
- 14:20have to be Rumble only. right or it's like is
- 14:26it so special oh they might have a special government
- 14:29like you know execution .army .mil like streaming
- 14:34website i hope i hope that it doesn't crash the
- 14:37way that the uh health care website crash this
- 14:40is so what if they fuck up you know there was
- 14:43some firing squad thing i think it was in south
- 14:45carolina like a year ago where all the marksmen
- 14:48missed And then they had to go for a second round.
- 14:54Yeah. That's wild. So the guy was alive for like
- 14:58another like minute and a half, two minutes.
- 15:00Oh shit. Oh shit. He's still moving. Shoot him
- 15:03again. Oh, that sucks. Yeah. That sucks. You
- 15:09would think that these guys will be better than
- 15:11that. And maybe it's just the fact that they're
- 15:14taking a life. Like maybe this is hard to do.
- 15:18Shooting people is hard. I mean, I heard an interesting.
- 15:22conversation on the radio where about the death
- 15:25penalty in general it was about the krista pike
- 15:26fiasco and they talked about this um and and
- 15:31one of the questions came in from a listener
- 15:33which was how come we're able to eat euthanized
- 15:36pets like no must no fuss uh every day and how
- 15:40come we it's so hard to kill people and the answer
- 15:43was great the answer was you don't really know
- 15:46what the your cat or your dog is going through
- 15:48when they're lethally injected the truth is that
- 15:51it probably is horrible for them and um i was
- 15:55like yeah that makes sense i mean mammals right
- 15:58i mean mammals are hard mammals die hard unless
- 16:03you chop up their head or whatever well well
- 16:07no there's a difference the the drugs that they're
- 16:10giving them are not drugs to kill people they're
- 16:12drugs that these guys are kind of concocting
- 16:14because they can't get the drugs from the industry
- 16:15meaning when they're euthanizing an animal they're
- 16:17actually using the drugs put the animal to sleep,
- 16:20stop that type of thing. In this case, I don't
- 16:25know what the hell they're using. I don't think
- 16:28they're using the same things. No, I think they,
- 16:31well, I think that the, it's a three drug protocol
- 16:33and like with animals, they, they put them to
- 16:36sleep. Yeah. They, they knock them unconscious
- 16:37first and then they stop their heart. Right.
- 16:39But I think the point is that like, they might
- 16:41be screaming inside when they're, when their
- 16:43heart stops, but like, we don't, we're not going
- 16:45to know because. I don't want to think that.
- 16:48It's a cat or a dog. I've had to put a dog to
- 16:50sleep. I had to put a cat to sleep. And Bo was
- 16:52extremely sick. Like, he was extremely ill. And
- 16:57that was one of the most painful things in my
- 16:59life. Like, it is a painful thing to put an animal
- 17:01down. Vets say that you should absolutely be
- 17:05in there with them when you do it because they're
- 17:07looking around scared and people never want to
- 17:09see it. And he said, it's like, they're always
- 17:11looking for their owner. And that's the most
- 17:13important thing is that they... you know if if
- 17:16you have to do that to your pet you should be
- 17:19there with them yeah i mean they have to go through
- 17:22it it's the least you can do is go through it
- 17:24with them it's true no i think you're right i
- 17:28was not strong enough to do that and i didn't
- 17:30want my wife in there either i wasn't strong
- 17:32enough to do it with my cat but next time when
- 17:35i have to do it to my cat if i have to do it
- 17:37to my cat i would definitely be there for him
- 17:39no i think you're right but that's hard i had
- 17:42never heard that from a vet before yeah You know,
- 17:45it's hard. It's no fun. I mean, you know, I hear
- 17:48that completely. Cats are different. No, I'm
- 17:53teasing. I'm joking. My mom hates cats. She's
- 17:56terrified. She hates cats? She's terrified of
- 17:59them. I have no idea why. There are a lot of
- 18:01people who, yeah, I had a roommate who was, he
- 18:04hated them. He was scared of them. Which I don't
- 18:08get. They can't, they're so small. There's not
- 18:10much they can do, really. Right. Well, they can,
- 18:12they do. they can claw you but i mean honestly
- 18:17a cat can't kill you okay i mean really yeah
- 18:21god can take you out in a fair fight true you
- 18:24know depending on its size but no i don't hate
- 18:27cats i mean i've gotten to like dogs but um f
- 18:31you so says just give the man the electric wheelchair
- 18:33execution and alexander says clovis is immortal
- 18:40Thank you. I appreciate that. And Nick Rivera
- 18:43says we both tacoed out. True. That is true.
- 18:48You don't think he's going to do it? No, we tacoed
- 18:51out, like on our pets. Oh, yeah, we tacoed out.
- 18:55Yeah, we tacoed out. I think Trump's going to
- 18:58taco out. By the way, I don't think he should.
- 19:02I mean, personally, I think it should be in public.
- 19:05But also, you know. I really want America to
- 19:08expose itself as this horrible, outlandish, brutally
- 19:12violent, psychotic country. I really want that.
- 19:15I feel like it's important for us in our psychological
- 19:18development and for our relationship with the
- 19:20world and that people stop taking it seriously.
- 19:23I really want that. First and foremost, when
- 19:25you go to AA, I am an alcoholic. I have no power.
- 19:29First step is admitting you have a problem, right?
- 19:31You admit you have a problem. And Lord knows
- 19:34that admits you have a problem. because that
- 19:36is the world that these guys are talking about.
- 19:39Hexeth is thinking like, we want to show the
- 19:43world how strong we are. And it's like, that's
- 19:45not the message you're sending. The message is
- 19:49that you're fucking crazy and stupid. Yes. And
- 19:53racist. And fucking racist. It's outlandish.
- 19:57That's why I want it. Me too. I'm dying for it.
- 20:02Well, my thing is... And if I'm an adult, you
- 20:04know, they're also concerned about turning him
- 20:06into a martyr. I think that's like a lesser concern.
- 20:09Although, frankly, if I were him, I'd rather
- 20:11die this way than just be put down like a dog
- 20:14in private. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I suppose. I mean,
- 20:21people would ask, why did they kill him? Which
- 20:24inevitably brings up the reason why he did what
- 20:27he did, which, you know, they may say he's a
- 20:30Muslim extremist. Yeah, but how did he get that
- 20:32way? Like, what radicalized him? talking radicalized
- 20:36yeah right they missed that part um but no i
- 20:40i want it for the same reason you want it it's
- 20:42not just because i want to see an execution i
- 20:44don't even know if i watch it it's i want that
- 20:46shit to be exposed i'd watch it because it's
- 20:50news and um you know look i watch the isis videos
- 20:53if i can watch that i can watch anything i've
- 20:56seen people die in afghanistan i mean it's like
- 20:58the way i look at it is he has to go through
- 21:00it i can watch it you know If that makes sense.
- 21:05Yeah. Let's see if we have any comments. So today,
- 21:09unfortunately, producer Robbie West is out, which
- 21:12means you're reduced to dealing with me and my
- 21:15ability to scroll through the headlines here.
- 21:19But yeah, so when it's like this, seriously,
- 21:23this is very self -serving, but it's much the
- 21:26paid comments stick out. And I'm just definitely
- 21:30going to look at those faster. Yeah, they're
- 21:32easier to see. It's really true. Anyway, please,
- 21:36oh, by the way, the list of subscribers is increasing.
- 21:39Thank you guys very much for doing that. The
- 21:42updated outro with the new subscribers as well
- 21:46as the old ones is now up. You'll see that at
- 21:48the end of the show at 10 .59 or whatever. So
- 21:51thank you very much for that. Appreciate you
- 21:53guys. And I'll put the information up for how
- 21:56to subscribe on YouTube. Anyway, all right. I
- 22:02think we can move on from this, right? All right.
- 22:05Shall we follow up yesterday's topic about Cornell
- 22:08University that we talked about with Michael
- 22:11Tracy? So Cornell has decided that amidst the
- 22:16explosive backlash over their handling or lack
- 22:20of handling of the 2024 gang rape allegation
- 22:23at the frat, Cornell has taken the bold and decisive
- 22:27measure of taking a cue from... that important
- 22:31film from the late 70s, Animal House, and they
- 22:34have decided to cancel all frat parties for the
- 22:41rest of this year. Just to be clear, that happened
- 22:45in 2024. Right. That's true. And they've had
- 22:49frat parties for the last two years. Right. But
- 22:54sorority parties are go. Other parties are go.
- 22:59I mean, just to be clear here, I mean, you know,
- 23:01like, well, what am I on about? What I'm on about
- 23:04is that frats are toxic. So are sororities. Greek
- 23:07life should be banned. Secret societies should
- 23:09be banned. Single sex environments that are bathed
- 23:13in secrecy, where you're all kind of like in
- 23:17this sort of homoerotically bonded network of
- 23:20people who swear to keep secrets and have hazing
- 23:24rituals that often are sexual in nature. It's
- 23:28naturally going to lead to shit like this, you
- 23:31know? And so I just think it's like, you know,
- 23:35it's the environment that causes this. I don't
- 23:39think there's any place for secret societies
- 23:41in the United States or in colleges and universities.
- 23:44Secret societies are bad. I mean, look at the
- 23:47KKK. That was a secret society. No more. So people
- 23:52can't choose to collectively come together to
- 23:55be in a group. directed in the way that they
- 23:59want to direct. Because I would argue religion
- 24:00is a secret society of sorts. People go into
- 24:03a church. It's not secret. Anybody can join.
- 24:09Anybody can walk into religious services, right?
- 24:13I mean, I don't think there's any... No, no,
- 24:16I accept that. Maybe Scientology is different,
- 24:18right? I mean, I don't know. No, I accept that.
- 24:20But you don't believe that people can come together
- 24:21and join in something that is collective to their
- 24:24own interests. So, for example, people want to
- 24:27have swingers. Okay, they have... a group of
- 24:30people come together to do and pursue carnal
- 24:34delight or whatever, but they don't let everybody
- 24:36into the group. The group is isolated. Would
- 24:39that be considered a secret group? It's a good
- 24:42question. I guess the ultimate question is, why
- 24:46can't people come together and make a decision
- 24:49about stuff that they may be interested in? I'm
- 24:51going to roll that back. You're right. Okay,
- 24:53they can. I'm wrong about that. I just think
- 24:55colleges and universities, though, we have a
- 24:57long track record of fraternities. And, you know,
- 25:01look, there's been false allegations. We you
- 25:03know, there was the Virginia Tech thing, you
- 25:06know, was it Virginia Tech or UVA? UVA, I think
- 25:10it's one of them. Yeah. One of those Virginia
- 25:12schools anyway, where it was like the I forget
- 25:15what team it was. Polo or some shit. Anyway,
- 25:19the point is these guys were they were falsely
- 25:23accused There was a false accusation of gang
- 25:26rape at Columbia University in the mid in the
- 25:30late 80s It happens, but there's also legit ones,
- 25:34right? I don't know. It's just like it seems
- 25:37to me like from a college administrators point
- 25:39of view frats are a lot of trouble and it's like
- 25:44you know and i'm not sure what they benefit i
- 25:46mean except like what you're going to give each
- 25:48other jobs when you all get older and it's just
- 25:52it's why does it have to have a benefit meaning
- 25:56it's just people deciding to come together to
- 25:58join a particular group for whatever reason i
- 26:00find it to be dumb but it doesn't really matter
- 26:02if i find it to be dumb it's just what they want
- 26:05to do they think they get something out of it
- 26:07whether it's fraternity whether it's brotherhood
- 26:09whether it's hey these are my friends and my
- 26:11friend i think it's silly but it's not It doesn't
- 26:15really matter if I think it's silly. The catch
- 26:17becomes, why shouldn't people be able to do that?
- 26:21I mean, look, there are all sorts of things where
- 26:22people get into trouble with driving, for God's
- 26:24sake. How many accidents? Oh, right. It's the
- 26:26Duke lacrosse case. Thank you. Daniel and P .W.
- 26:30Walker. North Carolina. Look, I guess my point
- 26:33is, pretty much anything that we do, Catholic
- 26:38Church, the number of kids that were effectively
- 26:40raped at the Catholic Church, horrendous. And
- 26:44yet it still exists. And so it's like every few
- 26:48years a threat shows up with either a fake rape
- 26:52allegation or real rape allegation. Well, I guess
- 26:55allegations. You get my point? Yeah. That's going
- 26:59to happen in general. Like just being in society.
- 27:04Rape. I don't know how many gang rapes. Okay,
- 27:06rapes, sure. Rape is an incredibly common crime.
- 27:09But gang rapes? That's not such a common crime.
- 27:15No, it's not such a common crime, but it does
- 27:17happen. And I guess, look, my argument is not
- 27:19entirely for frets, even though I guess it sounds
- 27:21like it is. It's trying to make the point of
- 27:23saying people have freedom of association. Yeah.
- 27:27If they want to come together for some kind of
- 27:29group, for some kind of ends, they can do so.
- 27:31And yeah, frets are toxic. I accept that. I've
- 27:37never been in a fret. So if somebody is out there
- 27:39saying, hey, every guy. you know how it is you
- 27:42meet frat bros and you know they're douchebags
- 27:45to enjoy i was offered i was offered to be involved
- 27:49in a gangbang by a guy who was in a frat i thought
- 27:52it was gross but again you guys yeah even assuming
- 27:59even assuming total consent right right it's
- 28:03like who's number six but if that's if that's
- 28:10your life do you right And in college, if that's
- 28:13what you want to experience, do you, providing
- 28:14everybody's willing for the thing. I guess my
- 28:17thing is, yes, it will be part of a risk of having
- 28:20a frat in existence or having a sorority in existence,
- 28:25even though I don't know what that would look
- 28:26like. But that's not necessarily an argument
- 28:28that they should be removed, destroyed. I don't
- 28:32know. I'm not extreme with it. These same colleges
- 28:35got rid of Jewish Voice for Peace. you know what
- 28:41i mean i mean it's like jewish voice for peace
- 28:46you got rid of of a peace group by and for jews
- 28:52against killing palestinians you got rid of that
- 28:55you're like we don't have any place for that
- 28:57no that's dangerous that shit you know we don't
- 29:00we can't have that but we gotta have our frats
- 29:02we gotta have that I mean, just so much that
- 29:09you can live together and drink in the sweet
- 29:14smell of dirty socks and testosterone. I know,
- 29:17but they apparently like that nonsense. In their
- 29:21minds, it may make them think, hey, I'm more
- 29:23of a man. I am somehow connected. I'm somehow
- 29:25whatever their feelings are about. And it's professional
- 29:29connections for the future. yes but i agree with
- 29:34you i'm a beta theta pi dude from way back oh
- 29:37me too yeah you want a job man yeah it was it's
- 29:43and the thing is to be clear i mean there's a
- 29:45cliche that this is like all it's all you know
- 29:48white bros and that's most of it for sure but
- 29:51you know it's not exclusive i mean there's a
- 29:53there's a there's a jewish frat at columbia i
- 29:57don't know if it still exists but you know there's
- 29:58the jack and jill society which is for you know
- 30:01upscale professional blacks i um i happen i happened
- 30:04upon one of their gatherings at martha's vineyard
- 30:06once and you know you see like wow there's like
- 30:09all these people driving these like incredibly
- 30:11nice cars and they're all dressed to the nines
- 30:14and it's like what's going on it's like oh it's
- 30:16jack and jill and um it's like wait what's that
- 30:19and i remember thinking like you know it's in
- 30:21the one hand i was like i get but on the other
- 30:23hand it seems really snotty like uh like you
- 30:26know us rich black people we don't want to mix
- 30:28with anyone else i don't know i hate that kind
- 30:30of yeah i mean i don't know people are people
- 30:36they form into groups and collectives i i look
- 30:42i gotta be honest i never understood threats
- 30:43um i never saw why people wanted to subject themselves
- 30:49to the things that they subject themselves to
- 30:51in order to get into the frets it just never
- 30:53made sense to me but i knew people many of them
- 30:56were very cool Sure. Yeah, I don't know. But
- 31:01my first impetus wouldn't be to get rid of it.
- 31:05And by the way, Cornell already suspended the
- 31:09frat that was involved, right? This does bring
- 31:12up the issue of collective punishment. I mean,
- 31:14the other frats are like, hey, we don't have
- 31:17any ladies who've charged us with gang rape,
- 31:20right? Like, we had nice, civilized, drunken
- 31:23parties with a minimum of ketamine and a minimum
- 31:26of rape. And just the bare acceptable amount
- 31:30of rape. And also, you already closed the frat
- 31:37involved here, right? That building's been closed
- 31:40for two years. And it's been two years. Yeah,
- 31:43it's been two years. They've been having frats
- 31:44for two years doing what frats do for two years,
- 31:46and now you're shutting it down. i mean as far
- 31:49as we know there's been no subsequent gang rape
- 31:51allegations at any other frat at cornell i mean
- 31:53so like why this is all just it's ridiculous
- 31:56you know middle management um you know typical
- 32:00college cowardly college administrators like
- 32:04oh my god like oh there's about do you see there's
- 32:06a nut you know they get these administrators
- 32:08they get like a stapled summary of all the media
- 32:11coverage about their institutions right like
- 32:14if you i i worked at a bank where it was like
- 32:16that and it's like every you know Someone would
- 32:18look for every mention of the Industrial Bank
- 32:20of Japan in every news outlet, and then we'd
- 32:24get it every morning. It'd be like, oh, shit,
- 32:26they found out about that guy who embezzled $10
- 32:29million. Oh, fuck, should we do something about
- 32:32it? That's what they're like, right? So they're
- 32:34like, oh, fuck, we're getting hammered in the
- 32:37press over this rape thing. We got to be perceived
- 32:41as, we don't need to do anything. We need to
- 32:43be perceived as doing something. Right. Yeah.
- 32:47Because we can't do anything about it. We can't
- 32:49stop people from, we can eliminate every frat.
- 32:52You're not going to eliminate rape. You're not
- 32:54going to eliminate illegal drug use. You're not
- 32:57going to eliminate people slipping Mickeys into
- 33:00people's drinks. That behavior will go on. I
- 33:03mean, so all you can do is be perceived as like,
- 33:06look, we did something. So when your alums call
- 33:09and say, what the fuck? Why am I donating millions
- 33:12of dollars to you? You can say something. Yeah.
- 33:16I mean, they want to be perceived as being strong
- 33:17on the issue, right? As opposed to like, but
- 33:23strength is not always the best response. I know
- 33:27why. It's because they want to be able to defend,
- 33:29you know, our actions. We did this in order to
- 33:32deal with this particular issue. But is there
- 33:34a better way to do that? I mean, threats have
- 33:36been going on for the last two years. And what
- 33:38is he trying to say? That they're rape factories
- 33:41and rape factories have been going on for two
- 33:43years. And so now we're taking a stand two years
- 33:45later. That just feels dumb. And you're punishing,
- 33:49as you point out, everybody for something that
- 33:51a specific group ultimately did. Yeah, that's
- 33:54wrong. That's weird. Yeah, that's not right.
- 33:56So unless they're trying to make the argument
- 33:59that all frets are problematic based on the gang
- 34:03rape at one fret, this seems to be a weird argument
- 34:06to make. And we know that's not true, right?
- 34:09Like certain frets at every school, right? There's
- 34:12always that one fret that's really wild and crazy
- 34:15and has that, they're the animal house rat. And
- 34:18then there's the other boring ones, right? I
- 34:20mean, there's the ones that are like more dominated
- 34:23by like engineering students who are like grinds
- 34:25and they spend all their time at the library.
- 34:28I mean, each frat has its own culture. Yeah,
- 34:31they're different. So no, I agree. It's just,
- 34:34yeah, that sucks for the frats. Yeah. That sucks
- 34:39for the frats. Don't worry, gang rapists. There's
- 34:41always the sorority parties. it's like it's just
- 34:47being right guy it's like it's just such a hilarious
- 34:51it's such a hilarious headline though like all
- 34:53frat parties are off it's like really this is
- 34:56national news national news okay well all right
- 35:02um we're trying to let's leave the uh middle
- 35:04east for uh for late uh all right what do you
- 35:08want to talk about oh should we we should do
- 35:10nordstrom Oh, by the way, did you see? Oh, dude,
- 35:14this is the funniest thing in the world. Did
- 35:15you see that woman? I think she was running for
- 35:19Texas. That clip where she's she seems to be
- 35:24completely drunk, like it completely inebriated
- 35:27a Democrat. Can we can we find it? If we find
- 35:30it. Yeah, I have it. And send me the send me
- 35:34the link and then I'll put it up. OK, this I
- 35:37don't even. i don't know maybe you know who this
- 35:42woman is but she's apparently running i think
- 35:44she's running in texas um and this will make
- 35:50your day all right so it is i just pasted it
- 35:54it's there now okay all right all right now just
- 36:00for the setup she's in a an interview and in
- 36:06this interview she's talking to a news woman
- 36:07and the news woman is basically asking her questions
- 36:10related to the campaign this is uh the clip okay
- 36:16here we go i'm i'm pulling this up oh god yeah
- 36:22it always helps to have a producer yeah this
- 36:24is like people who are like don't appreciate
- 36:26robbie let me just say this is like well now
- 36:29you appreciate rob yeah yeah we need him all
- 36:36right hold on all right let me have it queued
- 36:40up and then i'm gonna Put it up. Okay. I played
- 36:49this earlier and was laughing my ass off. Oh,
- 36:52good. I can always use a good laugh. Although
- 36:54we've already had some good laughs. All right.
- 36:55Here we go. All right. All right. We ready? All
- 36:58right. Here we go. And that's what I have to
- 37:03say about that. Okay. And our last question of
- 37:06the night is, if elected, what is one decision
- 37:09that you expect to make that may be unpopular
- 37:12with some voters, but you believe ultimately
- 37:14would be in the best interest of Fayette County?
- 37:17I wouldn't raise your taxes. What is the one
- 37:23decision that I would make? Repeat that again.
- 37:30What is the one decision that I would make that
- 37:31might not be popular? Right. That may be unpopular
- 37:34with some voters. But is in the best interest
- 37:37of the county. Firing all Republicans. I wouldn't
- 37:44let them. I mean, I don't even talk to them.
- 37:48I don't like them. I mean, they voted against
- 37:51our own state representative voted against her
- 37:55own party. I mean, what do you want me to say?
- 38:01I don't like being around them. I mean. Y 'all
- 38:04did this to us. You all voted for us. You made
- 38:07this happen. This ice coming into our communities,
- 38:12stealing people's jobs. I mean, I've been threatened
- 38:19so many times to my face by MAGA. We'll call
- 38:26them because there's Republicans. We'll call
- 38:28them. Who actually get it. You know, there are
- 38:33good Republicans out there. But then there's
- 38:36these men who are just racist and aren't very
- 38:42intelligent at all. They call you names. They
- 38:45don't share a nephew trying to blow my head off.
- 38:50But, you know, what are you going to do? Well,
- 38:53that brings us to your opportunity to say just
- 38:57a few last words to the voters. Only a few last
- 39:01words. We have guns, too. All right. The general
- 39:09election is November 3rd. Early voting began
- 39:12October 6th. You can vote Monday through Friday
- 39:14from 8 .30 a .m. to 4 p .m. at the Ferret County
- 39:18Courthouse. Remember to bring to the courthouse
- 39:21with you when voting an acceptable government
- 39:24issue. Yeah, that happened on air. Well, she
- 39:29was obviously impaired, right, in some way. I
- 39:33mean, so she's drunk or she's stoned or, or maybe,
- 39:36you know, I mean, there are people who get like,
- 39:38okay, I'm going to say there are, to be fair,
- 39:40people who get like adverse reactions to medicines,
- 39:43you know, like they have a cold medicine interacts
- 39:47with something else. Ambien was so rough at 12.
- 39:51Yeah. Don't forget George H .W. Bush when he
- 39:56puked on the Japanese prime minister. Oh, that's
- 40:00gross. And he blamed, I forget what he blamed,
- 40:04but he blamed a drug that he was on. Probably
- 40:06true. I mean, travel makes your stomach do funky
- 40:09things, right? I mean, campaign can release a
- 40:11statement saying that she was on Benadryl or
- 40:13something like that. That's what they said about
- 40:15Joe Biden, right? At the debate. Well, he was
- 40:16on, you know, medication. He had a cold. He had
- 40:20a cold. For about five years, he had a cold.
- 40:24That is insane. That is insane. That's America.
- 40:28By the way, she's got my vote. If I lived in
- 40:30her district, I would totally vote for her. I
- 40:32love her to death. She's the best. I love her
- 40:35to death. She's awesome. She's so cool. She's
- 40:38like, they might blow your head off. Whatever.
- 40:43What do you do? What do you do? Fight all the
- 40:47Republicans. She said, I would fight all the
- 40:50Republicans. She said, I don't like them. i don't
- 40:53even know what's so funny is she probably has
- 40:56no she probably didn't really know until later
- 40:59i mean like so one time um i had to give a speech
- 41:02at the editorial cartoonist convention and these
- 41:06conventions always have a lot of hardcore drinking
- 41:08and i i went to i i you know i just didn't have
- 41:13much to eat that day i didn't even drink much
- 41:15i had like there was an open bar before and two
- 41:17glasses of wine i can hold my liquor usually
- 41:21Or at least I think I can I mean that's for others
- 41:23to judge Anyway, the point is I had like a couple
- 41:26of glasses of wine on an empty stomach went up
- 41:29and gave my speech and you know My friend Scott
- 41:32Stantis with who I do DMZ America was in the
- 41:34audience and afterwards He's like Jesus Christ
- 41:38Ted and I was like, I don't know if I can feel
- 41:40my lips and he goes He could hear so smashed
- 41:45visibly I'm like, really? Can other people tell?
- 41:49He's like, yeah. I do remember holding on to
- 41:54the podium to keep from falling down. And it
- 42:00was just like, well, and honestly, I told myself,
- 42:04well, who gives a shit? It's a bunch of cartoonists
- 42:06anyway, right? It doesn't matter. And it wasn't
- 42:08on television or anything like that. But I mean,
- 42:10I feel for this woman because, you know, I've
- 42:14been there. I mean, I have to admit. I would
- 42:17show up fully caffeinated and not boozed up for
- 42:20something like this, but you know, it can happen
- 42:23to the best of us. I don't, I don't, yeah, I
- 42:29don't see myself. Especially if you're trying
- 42:32to get elected for something, getting hammered
- 42:33and then going into the event. I don't know,
- 42:36man. That seems insane to me. You're running
- 42:39for office and people are watching you give an
- 42:41interview. How do you, okay. I don't know if
- 42:45she was smashed like on alcohol, but she's obviously
- 42:47on something. she's something's going on right
- 42:50unless she's always like that she might be like
- 42:53you know the dude in the big lebowski like hey
- 42:56man although he's always smashed so that's a
- 43:01bad example um so i will repeat that i will repeal
- 43:05the two drink minimum Yeah, don't knock Ms. West.
- 43:16She still sounds more coherent than Fetterman.
- 43:19That's true, and she's only running for some
- 43:22shitty local office. He's a U .S. senator from
- 43:25a major state. By the way, they're talking about
- 43:28Lindsey Graham's sister. I'm sorry, is it sister?
- 43:31Sister. Yeah, it's his sister, yeah. I don't
- 43:36know necessarily what she has, that she's pulled,
- 43:39that allowed her to necessarily be eligible for
- 43:42office. She may lose. Lindsey Graham had that
- 43:46seat forever. Well, she's she's incredibly incompetent.
- 43:51Yeah. I mean, I think she might lose. It's interesting.
- 43:54I mean, we may see some surprises. It's not going
- 43:56to be a straightforward Democrats rule. Republicans
- 43:59lose. I mean, that's going to be the overall
- 44:01tenor of the election night. But it's going to
- 44:05be I think there's going to be some surprises
- 44:06like like Said's not doing that great in Michigan.
- 44:11Really? Yeah, yeah. I'd say if the election were
- 44:16held right now, he might lose. I'm very annoyed
- 44:18with Black people on this. Because of the whole
- 44:22Michigan demographic? Yeah. It's so weird to
- 44:25me. Well, he has an ace in the hole in that respect.
- 44:31Obama's coming. I think it's October 27th. Yeah.
- 44:34I think that's a game changer for Saeed. I think
- 44:39Obama's still a nuclear weapon in regards to
- 44:41Democrats. oh but obama he's clearly you know
- 44:45still a power broker in the democratic party
- 44:48oh i mean yeah that's that's that's he's got
- 44:50to be good for eight to ten points i mean just
- 44:53by parachuting in yeah i mean because i hate
- 44:57this idea that somehow him being muslim is somehow
- 45:00different than the experience that black people
- 45:02go through right these are the and democrats
- 45:07do this and they do this all the time and it's
- 45:10it it's bad politics they create this division
- 45:14between people okay you're hispanic you're black
- 45:16you're this you're that you're this as if these
- 45:18things are somehow somehow distinct in regards
- 45:21to their experience it's like oh you're a black
- 45:23african or you're a caribbean black that's not
- 45:26the same as a descendant of slaves black you
- 45:28guys are different well i mean i do think descendants
- 45:31of slaves are black they're different of course
- 45:33they're different but yeah but political interests
- 45:36are not necessarily different yeah the political
- 45:38interests are the same for all of these groups
- 45:40But the experience of a Hispanic, the experience
- 45:42of an African -American. OK, they may have like
- 45:44when the cop pulls you over at two in the morning,
- 45:46you know, they're not making those distinctions.
- 45:49No. What matters is the economics of it all.
- 45:52And if somebody is talking about, look, I'm going
- 45:54to put more money in your pocket. We're going
- 45:55to stop sending money to genocidal maniacs. If
- 45:59you think he's sincere, then maybe you should
- 46:02back that guy, regardless of his rights. Like,
- 46:04it doesn't matter that Sanders is Jewish. It
- 46:06doesn't matter that some random person is Hispanic
- 46:09or somebody else is trans. Are they going to
- 46:13represent the interests of the public? Right.
- 46:15It doesn't matter that Ted Kennedy was wealthy.
- 46:18Exactly. Well, FDR was wealthy, right? Right.
- 46:21Like, if they will represent your interests,
- 46:24they represent your interests. It's that. And
- 46:26so I hate the idea that they're looking at him
- 46:28like he's somehow different. Oh, he's not, you
- 46:32know, part of our experience. OK, does he need
- 46:34to be part of your specific experience? Is he
- 46:37doing what you're sending him to Washington to
- 46:39do? But is it about that tomorrow or is it about
- 46:41is I mean, you know, I mean, look, obviously,
- 46:44you know, I'm not I'm obviously white. But I
- 46:48mean, from what I hear and what I read, this
- 46:51is mostly a quite, you know, conservative, older
- 46:54black, small C conservative, you know, older
- 46:56blacks like Democrats. They're worried. Right.
- 46:59They're like kind of like we don't want to waste
- 47:00our votes. We don't want to vote for some clown.
- 47:03and then and then get burned and have them lose
- 47:05we want our best possible chance at winning yeah
- 47:08but that attitude ensures that that happens right
- 47:13yeah plus you're in the gym you're in the general
- 47:15now he he's the democrat right he's the democrat
- 47:18right so it's like if you're looking at the like
- 47:21yeah i don't want to vote for that guy because
- 47:22the guy is doing so and so you are ensuring what
- 47:25you are um afraid of like i hate this stuff right
- 47:30like like The system that we have at our disposal
- 47:33is basically because Blacks do, as a rule, keep
- 47:39the monster at bay. Which candidate keeps the
- 47:42monster at bay? Now, that makes sense in the
- 47:44primary. Which is how Bernie got fucked over.
- 47:47Which will make me think, OK, the Black vote,
- 47:50they might have been skeptical of him before.
- 47:52OK, why would you be skeptical of him now as
- 47:54he's the Democratic nominee? But apparently that
- 47:58skepticism still exists, which is wild to me.
- 48:02Yeah. Yeah. It's like, look, it's one thing if
- 48:05you say, I don't believe in a political system,
- 48:06I don't think we can get there through voting,
- 48:08meaning we can't get what we want from here.
- 48:10I get that. But to say you're a part of this
- 48:15political system, you vote in this political
- 48:16system, and yet you don't want Saeed because
- 48:18of some hashtag reason, that's a little weird
- 48:21to me. Like if you're a Democrat, it looks like
- 48:23you have to vote differently. I also kind of,
- 48:24I mean, I guess the thing is, I would hope for
- 48:26some... generosity of spirit on the part of some
- 48:29older black voters in michigan that they would
- 48:32sort of say in the same way that a lot of white
- 48:35people said in 2008 like you know let's let the
- 48:38black guy drive the car for a while you know
- 48:40everyone else has had their chance and like maybe
- 48:42let's let the let's let the younger you know
- 48:45uh let's let the younger uh muslim dude try have
- 48:48a shot at you know right why not you know so
- 48:51let's see how it goes yeah i mean him being muslim
- 48:54shouldn't matter Is there a shared experience
- 48:56among the people in the state that he's going
- 48:59to represent? It's just that. Yeah, yeah. I mean,
- 49:03I don't think he's, I mean, I will say tonally,
- 49:06I don't think he's the perfect candidate. I mean,
- 49:08nobody's really a perfect, well, Obama was a
- 49:12perfect candidate. There are perfect candidates
- 49:13sometimes. Trump was a perfect candidate in 2016.
- 49:18I mean, but I think, you know, Saeed, there's
- 49:22something, you know. he's not likable somehow
- 49:26um i mean he's got that hillary clinton thing
- 49:30where he's annoying that's not a good thing to
- 49:34have i mean do you feel it i mean it's completely
- 49:38look it's just that's just me seek i mean i don't
- 49:40know if anyone else sees it when he got pissy
- 49:44with the reporter and so that lingered i don't
- 49:47know what he is in earnest but that image lingers
- 49:50right um but yeah i i don't put it this way i
- 49:55don't want them shortchanging him just because
- 49:57he's muslim or just because he's you know whatever
- 50:00if you don't like him and i don't really care
- 50:02that he's i mean i'd still vote for him if i
- 50:03lived in michigan even though i think he's a
- 50:05little uh you know broey and spicy but okay whatever
- 50:09yeah but yeah when obama comes i suppose we need
- 50:14to look at the polling after it because i'll
- 50:15be interested in whatever that shift is because
- 50:17that shift will take place i think that's literally
- 50:20going to make or break him um without obama visiting
- 50:23i think he loses um shit for that like for him
- 50:28campaigning with kamala harris or him campaigning
- 50:30with obama i mean for one i don't know if kamala
- 50:33harris is running again i know you don't think
- 50:35she is i think there's a chance that she may
- 50:37oh there's a chance it's it's definitely i just
- 50:40don't think it's 50 or better should they have
- 50:43given him shit for campaigning with them too
- 50:45because their their thing is okay you criticized
- 50:48obama on you know on his policies when he was
- 50:52in office And Kamala Harris was supporting a
- 50:55genocide. How are you campaigning with these
- 50:57people? That's the argument that's used against
- 51:00the matter left. It's a legitimate argument.
- 51:02I mean, Barack Obama expanded the drone wars.
- 51:05He expanded the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. He
- 51:09oversaw the Maidan coup. You know, there's a
- 51:15lot of stuff that he has to answer for, for sure.
- 51:18Yeah. I mean, I wrote an entire book about it
- 51:22called The Book of Obama about just basically
- 51:24the entire book is basically like Obama sucks
- 51:26and you don't think he does, but he does. But
- 51:29I get that. But he's trying to get elected, right?
- 51:34Like you can say you're selling your soul. If
- 51:36I were advising him, I'd be like, man, you need.
- 51:38I mean, I said this, I wrote about when I did
- 51:41my syndicated column about Said a few months
- 51:44ago. I said, he's got to get, you know, the Democrats
- 51:46have to get serious and they have to get behind
- 51:47him. And I was like, first and foremost, they
- 51:51need Obama. I mean, the main thing about Kamala
- 51:53was, I mean, come on, it's like it's profit and
- 51:56loss. What is the advantage of having Kamala?
- 51:58I mean, except for the fact that she's a woman
- 52:01of color, she brings nothing to the table. I
- 52:03mean, she lost. She doesn't have any charisma.
- 52:08Talk about annoying. People find her annoying.
- 52:11She sent Black people to death row in California,
- 52:15including innocent ones. I mean, fuck her. I
- 52:19just don't know what she brings to the table
- 52:21if you're trying to get someone to come as a
- 52:23surrogate. But we all know what Obama brings
- 52:25to the table. Yeah, but the problem is they may
- 52:28be a package deal. He may not be able to be like,
- 52:32I don't want her. I want him. like it may not
- 52:34necessarily be this thing where he could just
- 52:35one column a not one from column b no i don't
- 52:38know if he could do that and if he did do that
- 52:41i don't know if he would get obama like meaning
- 52:44if you're if you're a democrat you're democrat
- 52:46kamala harris has not been excluded from the
- 52:49democratic party so if she's like hey i'll come
- 52:52to your event okay and obama says hey i'll come
- 52:56to your event yes thank you good oh i mean i
- 52:58would say like look uh if If you're Saeed and
- 53:02you can get Obama, but you also have to have
- 53:04Jack the Ripper, that's fine. I would be like,
- 53:08whatever. He needed Obama. He needs Obama to
- 53:13show up. He needs Obama not to have a cold or
- 53:16the flu. He needs Obama to show up on time, early.
- 53:19I mean, that's what he needs in this case. Yeah,
- 53:23it will move the needle, I think. It'll really,
- 53:26seriously, he'll owe Obama in a big way. No question.
- 53:30Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. So I see Laith Maroof in
- 53:35the green room. So, Laith, if you would be so
- 53:39kind as to turn on your camera and your mic,
- 53:43you'll see underneath your name. There you go.
- 53:46All right, cool. Should we go ahead and bring
- 53:48him in? Sure. Okay. We are joined with the one,
- 53:53the only, Laith Maroof on Free Palestine TV.
- 53:57How you doing, Laith? You doing okay today? Doing
- 53:59good, doing good. It's my first time on this
- 54:02Rumble platform. I'm actually impressed. I didn't
- 54:06think that it would be this well organized. And
- 54:10I'm glad to be on your new show, guys. It's my
- 54:14first time with Jamal many times before, but
- 54:18it's good to see that you guys are doing other
- 54:22work. So it's great. We're trying to kick ass.
- 54:26And by the way, let people know where you are.
- 54:29Free Palestine TV is the network. I want to make
- 54:32sure I get this right. And Free Palestine, that
- 54:34video is where they can find your work online.
- 54:36But I want to give you space to tell them where
- 54:39they can find your work. Yes, yes. And thank
- 54:43you so much for letting me bring it up because...
- 54:47We just got a strike on YouTube. We've been under
- 54:51like a sustained, organized Zionist attack of
- 54:55trying to report everything on the channel. And
- 55:01it's really awkward because we just got this
- 55:05strike, not because of a content that we produced,
- 55:08but a short from an interview that Carl Zah conducted
- 55:12with me. What? Yes. And so the channel, Carl's
- 55:17last channel, and the full interview is still
- 55:19up there. But this clip that we put, and it doesn't
- 55:23have anything. It's just talking about, you know,
- 55:25my usual speech that I talk about what has happened
- 55:28in the last three years as a result of the war
- 55:31on Gaza, the genocide there. And now we're unable
- 55:35to upload for the next two weeks. It was a 90
- 55:40-day penalty. Somehow they just changed it by
- 55:46themselves to 15 days So I think maybe the pressure
- 55:50is working. I hope more people complain to YouTube
- 55:53about it so we can get our channel back and you
- 55:56know, we are 100 % dependent on the donations
- 55:59of our viewers even with the Monetization we
- 56:02had on YouTube. They were not giving us more
- 56:04than a dollar fifty per part of the documentaries
- 56:07that we're posting every day uh they're really
- 56:10robbing us of any possible money from youtube
- 56:13so donations uh are appreciated so we can continue
- 56:17um our content production free palestine that
- 56:20video is the website where people can do that
- 56:22yeah that sucks they did it to caleb also where
- 56:26they took his entire channel down and then like
- 56:29a couple of days later it's like oh by the way
- 56:31we got this wrong here's your channel back it's
- 56:34like what How do you get something like that
- 56:36wrong? I was watching last night. Saudi Arabia
- 56:40is getting hit over and over and over again.
- 56:43Ansar Allah has basically made the point of saying
- 56:45that there's a blockade on Saudi airports, which
- 56:47many airplanes or many airport companies are
- 56:49effectively honoring because Riyadh's airports.
- 56:53And I forget there was another airport last night
- 56:55that got hit. On top of that hit, Saudi Aramco
- 56:58also got hit with ballistic missiles. Give us
- 57:03a breakdown of what is effectively taking place
- 57:05currently in the context of the war with Yemen
- 57:08and Saudi Arabia. And there's something else
- 57:10I want to ask you about this, but this is the
- 57:11question I want to get first. Yeah, well, obviously
- 57:15the Saud regime is being pulled by a leash to
- 57:22conduct this war against Yemen. The Zionists
- 57:26and the Americans are getting them to commit.
- 57:30Public suicide, it seems like, on their behalf.
- 57:33You know, the Saudis hit the oil facilities outside
- 57:39Sana 'a, but they were empty because every oil
- 57:44facility that is under the control of Sana 'a's
- 57:46government has been hit a million times over
- 57:48the last 15 years. So the Yemeni government has
- 57:53created underground facilities to protect its
- 57:57reserves. and the Saudis are unable to reach
- 58:00those. And so it was just a really clear, stupid
- 58:06thing for the Saudis to do to attack the oil
- 58:10facilities outside Sana 'a, because that opened
- 58:13the door for the government of Sana 'a to retaliate
- 58:17in kind, and the Saudi oil reserves are not destroyed
- 58:21already. They're not underground. And when you
- 58:26think about... the effect of Iran's war, the
- 58:3140 -day war on Iran, where Iran destroyed much
- 58:34of the air defenses in the Arabian Peninsula,
- 58:37much of the satellite receiving information centers
- 58:42and the radars and so on. It's clear that the
- 58:45Saudi assets are less protected than they were
- 58:49before the war on Iran. So why would you take
- 58:53such a stupid decision? The only answer is that
- 58:57the government of Saudi Arabia are vassals, complete
- 59:00vassals that have no control of their own decisions.
- 59:08Leith, if you could maybe comment a little bit
- 59:12on what the future of the Saudi oil industry
- 59:17looks like, that would be great. Because, I mean,
- 59:19it really seems like the Saudis are out of options,
- 59:22right? the uh you know answer uh answer alam
- 59:26uh ala kerry um in the aka the hooties control
- 59:30the gulf of aidan uh the the uh the the street
- 59:33of hormuz is is controlled by iran there's no
- 59:36way to the pipeline has been under attack multiple
- 59:40times and basically the hooties have been clear
- 59:42about like we're going to keep we'll let you
- 59:46repair it and then we'll hit it again so You
- 59:49know, Saudi Arabia was once the world's largest
- 59:52oil exporting nation and still obviously a very
- 59:55important one. Are they going to basically, are
- 59:59their exports going to slow to a trickle? I mean,
- 1:00:02you already have oil prices around the world
- 1:00:05and in the United States critically skyrocketing.
- 1:00:09Diesel prices are way up. Truckers are stopping,
- 1:00:12are starting to not roll their trucks anymore
- 1:00:15because it's not worth it. What options did the
- 1:00:19Saudis have at this point besides making peace?
- 1:00:23You know, the CEO of Aramco in a conference two
- 1:00:28days ago informed the world that the last defensive
- 1:00:34line of the Saudi oil industry, which is their
- 1:00:39land -based reserves, are right now getting pounded.
- 1:00:43So there's no exports, there's nothing. No oil
- 1:00:47reserves outside Saudi Arabia, like in facilities
- 1:00:50that they export in and so on, left. And now
- 1:00:53this reserve is getting destroyed. So even if
- 1:00:58we think that the war stops today, and it's going
- 1:01:03to take six months to two years to rebuild all
- 1:01:08of this infrastructure, and the output of Saudi
- 1:01:12Arabia is not going to rise to its pre -war.
- 1:01:16output for years even after that. The oil prices
- 1:01:22right now on a global scale should be actually
- 1:01:25around the $200 a barrel, except for as we see
- 1:01:30the Israelis and the Americans manipulating the
- 1:01:35market prices by dumping futures at a cheaper
- 1:01:39price than they bought them. uh make it look
- 1:01:43like that the price is less okay than it is and
- 1:01:46that's not gonna last for long because even the
- 1:01:49futures themselves that they are dumping the
- 1:01:51losses that they're you know um having to uh
- 1:01:55you know absorb because of this dumping uh is
- 1:01:59not sustainable this this action so and and the
- 1:02:03fcc and um you know the commission's uh you know
- 1:02:08the trading commission in the united states are
- 1:02:11hiding these facts. Even there's complaints about
- 1:02:14them. They're not allowing investigations to
- 1:02:16happen on this manipulation of prices. There
- 1:02:19is no way for Saudi Arabia to return to the good
- 1:02:24old days, except by letting go of Yemen. And
- 1:02:31the United States and Israel are not going to
- 1:02:33allow them to do that. Because the... future
- 1:02:38of Israel depends, and the future of the United
- 1:02:41States in Western Asia, depends on defeating
- 1:02:44the axis of resistance. And as we see, the axis
- 1:02:46of resistance is coming out victorious in most
- 1:02:49of these battles. I don't know, honestly, I can't
- 1:02:55anymore analyze the decisions of these vassals.
- 1:03:00except through the prism of ideological constraints
- 1:03:04of Zionism that is forcing them all to take these
- 1:03:07suicidal actions. Saudi Arabia seems to get...
- 1:03:12Somebody made the point of saying the attacks
- 1:03:14by Ansar Allah, basically the fact that Saudi
- 1:03:17Arabia can't do anything about it, is pushing
- 1:03:19them closer to Israel, and that Israel was in
- 1:03:23some level of consideration about basically entering
- 1:03:26the war. real do you think that is I mean that
- 1:03:32seems like there will be a hard sell for a government
- 1:03:35that considers itself this kind of you know Muslim
- 1:03:38capital working with a Jewish supremacist colony
- 1:03:42that seems like that's a tough sale to your population
- 1:03:46but do you think that's possible look behind
- 1:03:50the scene Israel is already involved yes uh there's
- 1:03:55a symbiosis relationship between the Saud regime
- 1:04:01and in general all of these Arab vassal monarchies
- 1:04:06and the Zionist column. And people can research
- 1:04:11by themselves and look at the exchanges of letters
- 1:04:14between King Abdulaziz of the Saudi kingdom and
- 1:04:18Ben -Gurion in the 1930s plotting against the
- 1:04:22citizens of the kingdom themselves. and against
- 1:04:26the Arab revolt in 1936 that swept through much
- 1:04:30of greater Syria and Palestine. So this is a
- 1:04:35symbiosis. The Zionist regime needs these vassal
- 1:04:40monarchies to be the defensive line for it. And
- 1:04:43these, you know, illegitimate vassal monarchs
- 1:04:48that were appointed by the imperialists need
- 1:04:50the protection of Israel against its own people.
- 1:04:55uh it's uh they're gonna ride together uh till
- 1:04:59death basically right and that's that's i think
- 1:05:03what's gonna happen uh there is israeli military
- 1:05:07and intelligence experts in the saudi command
- 1:05:10centers and that's been in reality for you know
- 1:05:14decades if not almost a century uh and so do
- 1:05:19they need to openly be involved when they are
- 1:05:23already involved they don't need to be openly
- 1:05:25involved i mean but i don't see how the economics
- 1:05:30make sense right i mean saudi arabia is an oil
- 1:05:32producing state they have nothing else going
- 1:05:34on of substance in their economy um it's you
- 1:05:37know it's i just don't see how this works i mean
- 1:05:41okay yeah they have these obviously they're deeply
- 1:05:43intertwined uh you know with the zionists and
- 1:05:46with the state of israel but they're okay but
- 1:05:49what good does it do them they need to export
- 1:05:53oil or they die i mean how does this look in
- 1:05:56two five ten years you know this this argument
- 1:06:02also applies to the whole imperial order look
- 1:06:06at uh the elite in europe that are destroying
- 1:06:10their own economies and their trade capabilities
- 1:06:12uh through this war in ukraine or the you know
- 1:06:17suicidal pact with israel uh you know, destroying
- 1:06:20their reputation, destroying the social services
- 1:06:23that they have. And even when we talk about Europe
- 1:06:28and the US having economic warfare with China,
- 1:06:31I mean, it's suicidal because you depend so much
- 1:06:35on Chinese products and from the Chinese market
- 1:06:38to buy your products to continue existing. So
- 1:06:42what we see is that All the traditional ways
- 1:06:46that we can analyze the decisions of power centers
- 1:06:50in the imperial alliance, meaning economy, trade,
- 1:06:57territory, resources, have now ceased to be meaningful
- 1:07:03ways that we can analyze these decisions in life.
- 1:07:06There is total ideological blindness. The elite
- 1:07:10in the imperial core Europe, North America, Oceania,
- 1:07:16and the GCC have now all decided that they're
- 1:07:22going to risk everything they have all for the
- 1:07:27maintenance of the Jewish colony, even if it
- 1:07:29means that their whole thing collapses, right?
- 1:07:32It doesn't make sense. The Emirates or Bahrain
- 1:07:36or Qatar or Kuwait, which are city -states with
- 1:07:40less than a million populations. to go in bed
- 1:07:44with the u .s in a war with iran that's not a
- 1:07:47decision that anyone who's logical would make
- 1:07:50right so there is ideological blindness now this
- 1:07:54is the only way the only prism that we can analyze
- 1:07:57that the united states has a far more diversified
- 1:08:00economy right i mean so the u .s ha this is this
- 1:08:05is you know the u .s is the last one that will
- 1:08:07collapse probably economically, because of these
- 1:08:10crazy ideological wars. And as we see, it's already
- 1:08:14cannibalizing the smaller components of the empire,
- 1:08:18the economies of Europe and Canada, Greenland,
- 1:08:23all of those. That's actions of cannibalization
- 1:08:25within the imperial order. And unfortunately,
- 1:08:30the craziest thing is that the components that
- 1:08:33are being cannibalized, like Canada, like Greenland,
- 1:08:37are actually defending their own cannibalization.
- 1:08:42Like they're continuing with it. So we're in
- 1:08:46bizarre moments. I mean, think about it. You
- 1:08:52know what's the most bizarre thing that has happened
- 1:08:54over the last three years? And I think this is
- 1:08:58going to be like an anomaly in human history's
- 1:09:01record, is seeing, let's say, schools and preachers
- 1:09:06in the united states posting this online that
- 1:09:10they are teaching their children in these schools
- 1:09:12that are christian schools that jews are better
- 1:09:17than them that there's a chosen people and that
- 1:09:21their own life as christian white americans are
- 1:09:25in the service of jews god damn i mean human
- 1:09:30history has been always like We are better than
- 1:09:33somebody else. Each nation is saying that they
- 1:09:35are above somebody else and that those people
- 1:09:38are less than us. We've never in human history
- 1:09:42had a civilization stand up on a podium and say
- 1:09:46those people are better than us and we are in
- 1:09:50their service. The American politicians, British
- 1:09:54politicians, French politicians, German politicians
- 1:09:57are telling their own citizens in their own country.
- 1:10:00you have less rights than a jewish american than
- 1:10:03a jewish german and a jewish and plus all our
- 1:10:06army will be in the service of the jewish colony
- 1:10:09and we will die for it and you have to approve
- 1:10:11that but this is this is lunacy i i don't know
- 1:10:16what kind of psychosis how you have to be in
- 1:10:19to actually stand up and say i am less than and
- 1:10:23there's a chosen people and i'm not one of them
- 1:10:25We've been accustomed to Western civilization
- 1:10:29say it's the end of history, that there's a superior
- 1:10:33race that's called the whites or Germanics or
- 1:10:36whatever it is, but we've never seen people do
- 1:10:40this in any human historical period ever. Yeah,
- 1:10:44the Christian Zionists are weird, like the Hegseths
- 1:10:48or the Huckabees. Just the ideology in and of
- 1:10:53itself is terrifying. I'm curious on something
- 1:10:55else. Foreign Minister Arigachi, Iran's foreign
- 1:10:58minister, apparently have been pressing Ansarullah
- 1:11:01to come to some kind of negotiation or negotiate
- 1:11:04with Saudi Arabia. They've done this on multiple
- 1:11:07occasions. And on both kinds, Ansarullah had
- 1:11:09basically said, no, they didn't trust Saudi Arabia
- 1:11:12and Saudi Arabia wasn't necessarily going to
- 1:11:14abide by anything that they came up with in the
- 1:11:16negotiations. The question is, why is Arigachi
- 1:11:20even doing that? Yeah, I mean, you know. We've
- 1:11:26got to take that with a grain of salt, the reports
- 1:11:29of this. You don't believe it? No, I don't believe
- 1:11:33it. In fact, what we have more proof of is that
- 1:11:37the Foreign Affairs of Iran called the Foreign
- 1:11:41Affairs of Saudi Arabia and offered to negotiate
- 1:11:44a ceasefire. for the demands of Yemen, which
- 1:11:52is very simple demands. Leave us alone. Literally,
- 1:11:55this is the demands of Yemen. Leave us alone.
- 1:11:57Stop your bombardment. Stop your blockade. And
- 1:12:00we will leave you alone. We never wanted to attack
- 1:12:02you. That's literally what the Yemenis have said.
- 1:12:05And that the Saudis actually are the ones that
- 1:12:07refused to have any negotiations. The Saudis
- 1:12:12demanded a ceasefire of four weeks. And Yemen
- 1:12:17returned by saying, no, we want a complete cessation
- 1:12:22of hostilities and a peace treaty, basically.
- 1:12:25And the Saudis have refused. So, you know, people
- 1:12:31should watch out with all of this stuff constantly
- 1:12:35trying to undermine the foreign affairs department
- 1:12:39of Iran. Not to say that there is no, you know,
- 1:12:45differences of opinion within the Iranian establishment.
- 1:12:48But the Iranian Foreign Affairs Department, after
- 1:12:53now the destruction of Syria's Foreign Affairs
- 1:12:55Department, is the only most advanced, most capable
- 1:13:03foreign affairs establishment outside Russia
- 1:13:05and China in the world. constantly talk down
- 1:13:12about, I mean, their job is to negotiate. Their
- 1:13:15job is to be the good face, while there's the
- 1:13:18military that is supposed to come and use a stick
- 1:13:22on the enemies of Iran. If the Iranian foreign
- 1:13:25affairs is always just giving the finger, what
- 1:13:28kind of foreign affairs would it be, right? It's
- 1:13:30their job to negotiate, and then the final decisions
- 1:13:34are to the military and the government. So let's
- 1:13:37not undermine their efforts. to actually do their
- 1:13:40job. Find solutions. No, that's a fair point.
- 1:13:44That's a fair point. And you may be right. But
- 1:13:47the story had floated out. So I definitely wanted
- 1:13:50to hit you with it to get your take on it. Laith,
- 1:13:53you have my thanks for this. Unless, Tit, you
- 1:13:55have another question? I'm good. Okay. Laith,
- 1:13:59thank you for this, man. Laith Marouth, Free
- 1:14:02Palestine TV. Check out his work on freepalestine
- 1:14:05.video. Laith, you be safe. i see you thank you
- 1:14:08so much guys thank you very much appreciate you
- 1:14:11bye -bye so yeah i mean let's talk let's keep
- 1:14:16let's keep the conversation going um regarding
- 1:14:19uh the middle east so it's been a year since
- 1:14:23the so -called ceasefire uh in gaza it turns
- 1:14:26out that turned that turned out to be like a
- 1:14:29really good israeli propaganda move to sign that
- 1:14:32ceasefire because they can they get to keep bombing
- 1:14:34gaza there's been no reconstruction whatsoever
- 1:14:38the board of peace remember that is like nobody's
- 1:14:41heard hide nor hair of them uh there's been uh
- 1:14:45you know basically the locals are still living
- 1:14:47in tents two out of three at least um everything's
- 1:14:50just been demolished there's no infrastructure
- 1:14:52no clean water uh no no no reliable access to
- 1:14:56food just abject misery and the press is still
- 1:14:59not allowed in the international press still
- 1:15:02the israelis still don't let them in so we don't
- 1:15:04get a full picture of what's going on there i
- 1:15:06mean I guess I don't feel like this situation
- 1:15:10is going to change anytime soon because there's
- 1:15:12no pressure for it to change on the Israelis
- 1:15:16or even on the part of the media to get in there
- 1:15:19and find out what's going on. It's just sort
- 1:15:22of like these people just languish and the Israelis
- 1:15:24just keep on keeping on. Say, hey, everything
- 1:15:39is good. Nothing to see here. The war has stopped.
- 1:15:42And focus on other items as they continue to
- 1:15:47take land and territory. And by the way, one
- 1:15:50of the common elements, whether you're talking
- 1:15:53about Lebanon or whether you're talking about
- 1:15:54Gaza, is the destruction of everything. Because
- 1:15:57they want the land. Meaning there's a reason
- 1:16:00why they're attacking construction companies
- 1:16:02or construction equipment in Lebanon. They don't
- 1:16:04want them to rebuild because that's land they
- 1:16:06want to take for themselves. The same thing is
- 1:16:08true in Gaza. What, like 70 % they've stolen
- 1:16:10of the land that they've effectively pushed people
- 1:16:13back on where basically the rest of the population
- 1:16:16that hasn't been murdered is living in the much
- 1:16:18smaller, like 30 % of Gaza. I mean, think about
- 1:16:22that. Like it was already one of the most densely
- 1:16:25populated places on earth. And now you've compressed
- 1:16:28that into like 30%. So no, they effectively used.
- 1:16:35quote peace as a way to continuously conduct
- 1:16:37their war just to do it behind the scenes while
- 1:16:41they also went and started killing people in
- 1:16:44lebanon stealing territory in lebanon no you're
- 1:16:47right and i mean is there also an even more sinister
- 1:16:50motive which is i mean look um officially 70
- 1:16:54000 uh according to the gaza health ministry
- 1:16:5770 000 people died in gaza uh since 2023 however
- 1:17:02they the way that they i mean it's it's it's
- 1:17:05funny because i mean funny it's strange because
- 1:17:08normally one side the victim side in a in a war
- 1:17:13will tend to over count their casualties but
- 1:17:16that's not what happened here because of the
- 1:17:18methodology of the gaza health ministry is that
- 1:17:21they have to have a bot they have to be able
- 1:17:23to have a body and they have to be able to identify
- 1:17:25that body for that person to count and say okay
- 1:17:28so this was ted roll he was 63 he was a cartoonist
- 1:17:32um and uh and he lived at this town um okay then
- 1:17:38then i count but if i'm in bits and pieces under
- 1:17:41the rubble i don't count for the gaza health
- 1:17:44ministry now the pop you know the zionists are
- 1:17:47all over twitter uh slash x saying like what
- 1:17:50kind of genocide is it that the population of
- 1:17:53gaza keeps going up it's like well it's not is
- 1:17:56the first answer the population has been dropping
- 1:17:59um not that that would mean anything i mean you
- 1:18:02could conceivably have large family sizes that
- 1:18:04would make up for it but that's not really what's
- 1:18:06going on i mean by the latest estimates are that
- 1:18:09it's closer to five six or even seven hundred
- 1:18:12thousand dead which you know that kind of makes
- 1:18:15sense when you consider the ferocity of the war
- 1:18:18and uh all all those ruined buildings i mean
- 1:18:21is a big part of this just to make sure that
- 1:18:24those bodies stay buried um it's rubble like
- 1:18:27you cover over the rubble you're covering over
- 1:18:30the bodies the bodies never get counted you never
- 1:18:33have to account for them you know and that's
- 1:18:36it that's a good point that's a very good point
- 1:18:40Basically, we don't want people on the ground
- 1:18:42to see the level of carnage that we inflicted
- 1:18:44on this population. That's a good point. Especially
- 1:18:49if reporters ever get in there. Yeah, if they
- 1:18:53ever get in there. And at that point, you know
- 1:18:55how much time would have passed. Yeah, I mean,
- 1:18:59you know, it can be in the 90s. You know, I mean,
- 1:19:02bodies don't last. so i mean i i do i mean they're
- 1:19:07doing yeah they're doing the same thing in southern
- 1:19:09lebanon right they're just pulling they're just
- 1:19:11demolishing everything and like the thing is
- 1:19:14i always have this argument with defenders of
- 1:19:16israel i'm like look that is part of the genocide
- 1:19:19because one of the definitions of genocide is
- 1:19:21to try to abolish the cultural presence of uh
- 1:19:26of a people in a place like for example uh china
- 1:19:29has been one of the accusations against china
- 1:19:32in what's going on in Xinjiang with the Uyghurs
- 1:19:36is that, for example, in the old city of Kashgar,
- 1:19:40which is an old Silk Road city in western China,
- 1:19:43that the Chinese government has been tearing
- 1:19:46down a lot of these very, very old five, six
- 1:19:49hundred year old apartments and houses. that
- 1:19:54were constructed using traditional Uyghur architecture,
- 1:19:58replacing them with sort of large, nondescript,
- 1:20:01modern Chinese apartment blocks. And they're
- 1:20:04saying that's a form of cultural genocide. I
- 1:20:07think that's a valid criticism to be raised without
- 1:20:11diverting us into the Uyghur argument. But it's
- 1:20:17and I've seen them tear it down and it is kind
- 1:20:19of sad, although I can also see it from a Chinese
- 1:20:22standpoint, government standpoint, like these
- 1:20:25are almost uninhabitable dwellings that are filthy
- 1:20:27and derelict beyond belief. And, you know, they
- 1:20:31don't have running water. And like, it's kind
- 1:20:32of like, you know, we're a modern country and
- 1:20:34we don't live like that anymore. So that's also
- 1:20:37a fair argument, too. This is I mean, again,
- 1:20:40you're tearing down, you know, mosques and churches
- 1:20:44and. Even, you know, stores and, you know, shops,
- 1:20:48all of that is part of the culture of a place.
- 1:20:50If you just have like, you know, Warsaw at the
- 1:20:55end of World War II, where, you know, there's
- 1:20:57like that great scene from The Pianist where
- 1:20:59the camera pulls back and you just see that the
- 1:21:01Nazis have completely demolished everything.
- 1:21:04I mean, you can rebuild, but what was there is
- 1:21:08just permanently gone. The culture is gone, even
- 1:21:12if the people... start having babies again it's
- 1:21:15never it's never their history is gone i mean
- 1:21:19what what is i mean we should be very clear the
- 1:21:22entire point of what israel did was to do this
- 1:21:24we want to make this uninhabitable we don't want
- 1:21:28people to come back because they're like hey
- 1:21:30why are they taking down hospitals because they
- 1:21:32don't want them to get medical care because they
- 1:21:35don't want them to come back and bakeries so
- 1:21:39you can't buy food or water Yeah, we want to
- 1:21:43make this unlivable. Why do they go after the
- 1:21:46water? Why do they go after, you know, these
- 1:21:48things? Because they want to make it unlivable.
- 1:21:50They want to make it where the people can't necessarily
- 1:21:52live in that area. They want the land. Like when
- 1:21:55Joe Biden or when Donald Trump is like, we're
- 1:21:57going to try to get them to move to Jordan or
- 1:21:58we're going to try to get Egypt to take it or
- 1:22:00we're going to try to get some random country
- 1:22:01to take them. What do you think is happening
- 1:22:03with that? It's forced relocation, which is the
- 1:22:07plan. Oh, by the way, that's it. You know, I'm
- 1:22:09sure you've seen this, Jamal, on Twitter. One
- 1:22:12of the big talking points nowadays is about the
- 1:22:15Egyptian border fence that they've erected between
- 1:22:19Gaza and the Sinai Desert. And they're saying,
- 1:22:23oh, if Egypt cares so much about the Palestinians,
- 1:22:27why did they build this giant fence there to
- 1:22:29keep them out? But the reason that they built
- 1:22:32that giant fence there was because they know
- 1:22:35that the plan of the Israelis was to obviously
- 1:22:38kill as many Palestinians as they could. but
- 1:22:41also for those that they couldn't kill to drive
- 1:22:44them into the Sinai. And basically then they'd
- 1:22:47be able to annex Gaza. That's always clearly
- 1:22:50been the plan from day one. And so the Egyptians
- 1:22:54are like, you guys do you, but we ain't playing
- 1:22:59your stupid game. And so that's why we're putting
- 1:23:01this big thing here. So even if you open the
- 1:23:04fence, your border. the population you can drive
- 1:23:08the population in here but they'll have nowhere
- 1:23:09to go they're not coming into the sinai we're
- 1:23:11not going to cooperate with what year with your
- 1:23:14plans i mean and so this is i mean as strange
- 1:23:18as it is to say that fence actually supports
- 1:23:21the people of gaza and their right to remain
- 1:23:23in gaza which is what they want when you talk
- 1:23:26to them that's what they want they this is our
- 1:23:29ancestral home this is where we want to stay
- 1:23:30this is home and so But I think it's interesting
- 1:23:35that, you know, the Zionists are kind of like
- 1:23:38trying to put pressure on Egypt, like, well,
- 1:23:40you should take refugees. There'd be no refugees
- 1:23:43if it wasn't for the fact that the Israelis are
- 1:23:45bombing the shit out of them. Yeah. It's like
- 1:23:48you should stop killing. Right. Right. Hey, you
- 1:23:53should open the gates. If you guys care so much,
- 1:23:55you should open the gates. Hey, maybe you should
- 1:23:57stop murdering people, women and children. Yeah,
- 1:23:59maybe do that. Yeah. If you do that. Why don't
- 1:24:03you open your gate into the Negev, right? Why
- 1:24:05don't you do that? Yeah. So, no, I agree with
- 1:24:08you. I find that argument to be nonsense. How
- 1:24:11is it Egypt's problem something that Israel is
- 1:24:14doing? Yeah, it's not our mess. Fuck you. We
- 1:24:18know what you're on about. We're not playing.
- 1:24:20Yeah. And that was what Biden and Trump wanted
- 1:24:24to do. I never hear any Palestinians complaining.
- 1:24:27I never hear any Gazans saying like, oh, fucking
- 1:24:30Egyptians, they're such assholes. They won't
- 1:24:33let us in as refugees. You don't hear that. That's
- 1:24:35not a thing. No. I mean, they fought this war
- 1:24:39or this struggle for like 70 years, if not longer.
- 1:24:41They want to stay where they are. Yeah. So, I
- 1:24:45mean, Israel is obviously trying to create a
- 1:24:49context or pretext, a context by which they can't
- 1:24:52live in that situation. basically trying to force
- 1:24:54them out. I mean, they've taken 70 % of the territory,
- 1:24:57give or take. There's only 30 % left. And again,
- 1:25:02as I used to talk about the Board of Peace, and
- 1:25:04in fact, if I remember correctly, this is exactly
- 1:25:06what we said would happen, that they were trying
- 1:25:08to use this, quote, Board of Peace as a way to
- 1:25:11continue pursuit of their war aims, basically
- 1:25:13their war aims under the cover of peace, which
- 1:25:16is effectively what they've been doing. The question
- 1:25:20is, will they be able to accomplish their war
- 1:25:22aims? It doesn't seem like these people are leaving.
- 1:25:25it doesn't seem like they want to leave despite
- 1:25:27the horrible conditions that they're effectively
- 1:25:29living in but and yeah i agree with you this
- 1:25:31is going to go on for a while because there's
- 1:25:32nobody else to put focus on it the only right
- 1:25:36now what you have is well there's some kind of
- 1:25:38peace deal in gaza which there's not and there's
- 1:25:41some kind of deal in lebanon which there's not
- 1:25:44because if you notice they did the same thing
- 1:25:46southern lebanon they gave this argument like
- 1:25:48well the u .s and the puppet government of lebanon
- 1:25:51have made a deal to carve off southern lebanon
- 1:25:54from lebanon it's like whoa whoa southern lebanon
- 1:25:57is not lebanon like what right and but the team
- 1:26:01rules don't apply apparently to the donbass yeah
- 1:26:04they don't apply it's so weird right but i guess
- 1:26:08i'm trying to point out that in both of these
- 1:26:09situations they're trying to use this idea of
- 1:26:11peace as a cover to pursue their war aims in
- 1:26:14gaza they've been able to do it very proficiently
- 1:26:17in lebanon less so because that has gained more
- 1:26:20focus Hey, so we are in the Q &A hour for people
- 1:26:25who remember that. So if you have questions,
- 1:26:28please put them into the live chat. A paid question
- 1:26:30from Peter Ive. My wife still, or comment, my
- 1:26:33wife still blames me for voting third party in
- 1:26:352016 in Rhode Island, which hasn't voted for
- 1:26:38a Republican since Nixon. Your wife blames you?
- 1:26:44People always, oh God, if you vote third party,
- 1:26:48as I do, you always catch shit. No, I mean. Again,
- 1:26:53and I live in New York. It's the white part.
- 1:26:55If Hillary Clinton was going to lose in New York,
- 1:26:58well, I mean, I don't know what to say. Where
- 1:27:00was she going to win? It's the white part that
- 1:27:02I love in that. So his wife, apparently a Democrat,
- 1:27:07blames him for going third party. Now, I guess
- 1:27:10how deep does that go is the question. Is she
- 1:27:14angry, angry? She spits in his food. Yeah, because,
- 1:27:20you know. My wife and I, we had the same political
- 1:27:22leanings. So that was never an issue. So it would
- 1:27:26be very interesting to figure out. Yeah, my wife
- 1:27:29and I had the same leanings too. That was not
- 1:27:32an issue. People are asking where Robbie is.
- 1:27:34Robbie has the week off. It's his birthday yesterday,
- 1:27:38I think it was. And so he and his wife are camping
- 1:27:43in the wilds of Montana, where I think it's already
- 1:27:46snowing, if I'm not mistaken. so he sent pictures
- 1:27:50of them living hard it's in the it's in the group
- 1:27:53it's in the shows chat yeah it's like it's like
- 1:27:58i mean camping is kind of funny like i like camping
- 1:28:01but it's kind of funny because it's like you
- 1:28:03have a perfectly good home and then you go live
- 1:28:06outside yep it's like you you play homeless for
- 1:28:10a while you know it's funny when uh minya and
- 1:28:13i went to um the biden putin summit in geneva
- 1:28:18switzerland And we ended up going, I think it
- 1:28:20was like in France or Italy first. We ended up
- 1:28:23driving to Switzerland or even taking the train
- 1:28:26to Switzerland. I forget which one. But when
- 1:28:28they were there, they were like, hey, we're going
- 1:28:30out for a camping thing. And I was like, yeah,
- 1:28:34screw that. Somebody got a sauna massage. I got
- 1:28:37a massage, a pedicure. Europe. Yeah. It's like
- 1:28:42this has been supermodel is giving me a rub down.
- 1:28:48But I want to go out and rough it, right? And
- 1:28:50he comes back and he's like, yeah, you probably
- 1:28:52had the better choice. Yes, I had the better
- 1:28:53choice. Yeah, because you were sleeping outside.
- 1:28:57Yeah. I mean, that's literally the entire purpose
- 1:29:01of civilization with all of the bad things that
- 1:29:03it's wrought is that you get to sleep inside.
- 1:29:07Sleeping inside is pretty nice, you know? Like
- 1:29:10you don't wake up, there's no spiders walking
- 1:29:12across your face, you know, nothing like that.
- 1:29:14Ideally, depends on where you're at. Hopefully,
- 1:29:16hopefully. What is the thing for Geico? It was
- 1:29:21a Geico. God, Jesus. I was about to say, what
- 1:29:24is the thing that Geico has with Geico insurance?
- 1:29:27It's the Geico. When I was in Indonesia, there
- 1:29:29were like Geicos that was on the 39th floor.
- 1:29:31I was on the 39th floor. I was at the very top
- 1:29:33of the place. And these Geicos somehow snuck
- 1:29:35into the apartment. And it's very weird when
- 1:29:39you know that there's another living thing in
- 1:29:40the apartment that you're trying to sleep in.
- 1:29:42That you'd like to kill. Yeah. Or at least make
- 1:29:45a course to leave. I don't like to kill when
- 1:29:46they come to the door. They're fair game. Yeah,
- 1:29:49no, it's true. It's like, well, yeah, it's kind
- 1:29:51of, well, it's like, it's like your little nation
- 1:29:53state, like no illegal immigration. I didn't,
- 1:29:56you know, it's like, like if you're a pet, I
- 1:29:58went and bought you, then you have a, then you
- 1:30:00have permission to come in. But like, if you're
- 1:30:03a bug or a mouse, you snuck in like without my
- 1:30:07permission, like then I'm going to go ice on
- 1:30:09your ass and kill you. Now I don't kill outside
- 1:30:12the house. If you're a bug outside the house,
- 1:30:15you're a game. I mean, you're, you know. Yeah,
- 1:30:17for sure. but when you come in although i will
- 1:30:22say if you have if i have a wasp's nest like
- 1:30:24as i recently did like right under the front
- 1:30:27door like yeah that's that's going to be a problem
- 1:30:30you can't really yeah you use the back door from
- 1:30:34now on like we're still a house yeah it's it's
- 1:30:38the house but if there's a but if there's a wasp's
- 1:30:42nest let's say a pie and it's up on the side
- 1:30:45of the house like yeah you guys do you you know
- 1:30:48yeah yeah as long as you're not affecting me
- 1:30:51you're good yeah yeah yeah yeah but you know
- 1:30:54wasps or wasps be dangerous um oh my god there's
- 1:30:57these there's like i used to when i used to live
- 1:30:59in long island they had these they're probably
- 1:31:01all over the country but there were these wasps
- 1:31:03these ground wasps that would make their nest
- 1:31:05in tiny little hole like the size of a nickel
- 1:31:08you couldn't see it and they'd come and go from
- 1:31:10there right and it doesn't really matter but
- 1:31:12in august thereabouts the hive gets like spicy
- 1:31:17because the queen leaves and then the whole societal
- 1:31:20breakdown like of the hive causes them to become
- 1:31:23paranoid and aggressive and territorial and so
- 1:31:26i was cutting the lawn in my shorts and a t -shirt
- 1:31:30and i went over it unbeknownst to me right and
- 1:31:33uh the fucker is like They were yellow jackets.
- 1:31:36They went up my shorts, stung me on the balls.
- 1:31:40It was, like, totally. And, you know, one yellow
- 1:31:43jacket can hit you multiple times. It's like,
- 1:31:45boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. And so it literally
- 1:31:48feels like you're being, I mean, because it's
- 1:31:50your balls, it feels like you're being shot.
- 1:31:51So you're literally, and they don't stop until
- 1:31:54you kill them. You can't just, like, brush them
- 1:31:56off. You have to kill them, like, bam, bam, bam,
- 1:31:58right? So there you are, you know, hurting yourself
- 1:32:00even more. And then, like, oh, my God, it hurt
- 1:32:03for a month. And I was like, you have to sting
- 1:32:06me on the balls? Really? I mean, we could have
- 1:32:09worked this out differently. I was so pissed.
- 1:32:11I personally took care of it. I went out at night
- 1:32:14with a, I read about on the internet how to do
- 1:32:16this, with a giant vat of boiling water and poured
- 1:32:19it in there and killed them. I was like, I'm
- 1:32:22killing you myself. I'm not calling Orkin this
- 1:32:26time. This time it's personal. This shit is personal.
- 1:32:32they could have bit leg they could have bit thigh
- 1:32:35he wasn't yeah yeah straight up also note to
- 1:32:39self get like tighter fitting underwear you know
- 1:32:43otherwise holy it's like i just wanted my balls
- 1:32:47to hang out in the sun and this guy's for like
- 1:32:49a year or two after that i was only cutting the
- 1:32:51lawn wearing like uh my jeans tucked into my
- 1:32:54into my into my into my socks I'd be paranoid,
- 1:32:58too. I would never wear shorts again after some
- 1:33:00shit like that. Is that over my hat? He could
- 1:33:04have stung anything. That's like Luke Skywalker
- 1:33:06hitting the Death Star at the right spot. He
- 1:33:10blew up. Oh, my God. Dodged anything that he
- 1:33:13had to. My kid heard me screaming. He said, I
- 1:33:16thought I heard a girl screaming. I'm like, you
- 1:33:18did. You did. It was rough. Oh, that is the funniest
- 1:33:27shit I've ever heard. Tetra says, yellow jackets
- 1:33:29are fierce, no lie. They've nailed me in the
- 1:33:31woods a few times. Yeah, they are brutal. I've
- 1:33:36never been stung by a yellow jacket, thankfully.
- 1:33:37I've been stung by a bee, and I destroyed that
- 1:33:40thing immediately. I killed that thing immediately.
- 1:33:44Oh, one useful piece of advice, news you can
- 1:33:46use, right? It's like toothpaste. Smear toothpaste
- 1:33:50on your sting right away. uh you know because
- 1:33:53the yeah because it's uh the the sting is acid
- 1:33:57and uh toothpaste is a base i i talked to the
- 1:34:00a b guy and he uh you know one of those guys
- 1:34:03who still drives around with the giant bug on
- 1:34:05the roof and he and he was like he had like tubes
- 1:34:08of toothpaste stacked on the on the front of
- 1:34:11his car and like he's like oh yeah i need these
- 1:34:13i use this every day oh he gets stung a lot oh
- 1:34:16all the time yeah jesus yeah that's rough they're
- 1:34:22monsters That's rough. I'd be killing yellow
- 1:34:25jackets every time I get my hands on one. Oh,
- 1:34:27yeah. No, no. For sure. Yeah. Yeah. John Doe
- 1:34:32says yellow jackets sting more than once. Yeah.
- 1:34:35No, it's true. That's the thing. A bumblebee
- 1:34:38will get you once. And there's a lore that they
- 1:34:40die afterwards. I'm not sure that's true or not.
- 1:34:42We'd have to get an entomologist on to say that.
- 1:34:44But it doesn't seem like it would be true. But
- 1:34:48the stinger comes off and that's it. I bet the
- 1:34:51stinger grows back. But I don't know. That just
- 1:34:53doesn't really make sense that you would just
- 1:34:55die after you sting. It's like something kids
- 1:34:58say, you know? Like, you get it one time and
- 1:35:02then it dies. It's probably something that parents
- 1:35:05tell their kids to make them feel better. Like,
- 1:35:09don't worry, he died. You got hurt, but he died.
- 1:35:12Oh, okay. Nature's weird. I mean, it's a little
- 1:35:16bit strange that you have one weapon and you
- 1:35:17can only use it once. Tetra says... honeybees
- 1:35:20definitely die after one sting pulls out their
- 1:35:23whole insides i witnessed it that's wow for me
- 1:35:27that's so great yeah it's like you have one weapon
- 1:35:31and the first time you use it that's your life
- 1:35:34yeah you've got one bullet do they know that
- 1:35:36do they know that if they see that yeah do they
- 1:35:39know like okay this is it i mean do they ever
- 1:35:41think like oh this isn't that important i'll
- 1:35:44hold my fire right all right Which makes you
- 1:35:47feel a little bit more important when you get
- 1:35:49stung like that. It's like, he died for this.
- 1:35:52Or maybe it's because of the evolution of like
- 1:35:56the hive mentality, right? Just sort of like,
- 1:35:58now, you know, my life as an individual isn't
- 1:36:01that important. This is about the Borg hive mind,
- 1:36:04right? This is about, it's about the collective.
- 1:36:07And it's like, I regret that I have but one stinger
- 1:36:09to give for my hive. Right. What was the other
- 1:36:15story? Because we're talking about... All right,
- 1:36:17all right. Nord Stream, Nord Stream. We were
- 1:36:19about to start talking about it. So, all right.
- 1:36:23So do you want to tee up like what the official
- 1:36:25account is of... This is hilarious, right? But
- 1:36:28like basically what Germany is... They alleged
- 1:36:33that they've arrested dudes who were involved
- 1:36:35in the Yachters Gone Wild incident that blew
- 1:36:40up the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Yep. Because they're
- 1:36:43claiming, and look, for my, okay, the official
- 1:36:47story that they were running with is that Skipper
- 1:36:52Gilligan and a few bros were having a drinking.
- 1:36:55It's a tale of a tiny ship. Yeah, they were a
- 1:36:57tiny ship. But before they got to the point that
- 1:36:59they tried to say that, well, Zelensky didn't
- 1:37:02have anything to do about it, per se, that this
- 1:37:05was illusioning, and that they came up after
- 1:37:07having a drunken night, decided that they were
- 1:37:09going to blow up the pipeline. Meaning that the
- 1:37:12story. isolate Zelensky from it, to make it as
- 1:37:15if, okay, Zelensky didn't have anything to do
- 1:37:16with it. This was somebody else. Somebody else
- 1:37:19was paying for it and funding it. And they decided
- 1:37:22to go out on the ship, the SS Minnow. And it
- 1:37:24was just a few bros. And they decided to somehow
- 1:37:28cut Nord Stream Pipeline. Like, the story is
- 1:37:32absurd. Like, where did you get the explosives?
- 1:37:35When did you get the time frame in order to do
- 1:37:37this? When did you get the experts of divers
- 1:37:39and other ships that were around to support the
- 1:37:41divers as they were going around and blowing
- 1:37:43up a pipeline? Right. But they're trying to act
- 1:37:47like any random Ukrainian bros could have just
- 1:37:50done this. OK, so they have them on trial. Now,
- 1:37:54I guess I would make the point to anybody with
- 1:37:57a brain and with ears that when Joe Biden comes
- 1:38:01out and Joe Biden says that the Russians go in.
- 1:38:04That pipeline is going to stop. And the reporter
- 1:38:07asked, well, wait a minute, sir, that's not your
- 1:38:09pipeline. How are you going to do that? And he
- 1:38:11said, we'll do it. And then they go to Schultz,
- 1:38:14the chancellor, and they look at him and like,
- 1:38:17that's a German property that the president of
- 1:38:21the United States is claiming he's going to do
- 1:38:24something about. Right. The Russians go in, the
- 1:38:27pipeline blows up. And then their first response
- 1:38:30was, well, Russians obviously blew up the pipeline.
- 1:38:32It's like, whoa, whoa. Because who wouldn't blow
- 1:38:35up their own pipeline? Who wouldn't blow up their
- 1:38:37own infrastructure, right? And then my thing
- 1:38:40is like, okay, everybody heard Joe Biden said
- 1:38:42this at a press conference. And you will play
- 1:38:44the clip. I'd play the clip over and over and
- 1:38:46over and over again. Because I tried to make
- 1:38:48the point of saying, okay, is Joe Biden a psychic?
- 1:38:50How did Joe Biden know that the pipeline was
- 1:38:54going to blow up if the Russians went into Ukraine?
- 1:38:57They never explained that. They never said Joe
- 1:38:59Biden had remote viewers. Joe Biden had psychics
- 1:39:02on staff. And rational man says, he obviously
- 1:39:05blew it up. Now, didn't UK Prime Minister Liz
- 1:39:10Truss call him and say, it's done? It's done.
- 1:39:15There's an intercepted, I think by Russia, phone
- 1:39:19tap of Truss talking to Biden, basically like,
- 1:39:24it's done. Also, Seymour Hersh wrote the best
- 1:39:27article on this. These were US divers, trained.
- 1:39:33do exactly what they did. Meaning it wasn't just
- 1:39:36bros on a weekend trip that decided to go down
- 1:39:39and cut a pipeline. That story, the story in
- 1:39:41and of itself, it sounds ridiculous. The idea
- 1:39:44that any random person could go down and blow
- 1:39:46up a pipeline is outrageous. And the ships that
- 1:39:49were around - We should talk about the logistics
- 1:39:50of this a little bit, right? So, okay, so the
- 1:39:55pipeline was blown up at a depth of approximately
- 1:39:59180 feet. Now - Bear in mind that recreational
- 1:40:03diving is maximized at 130 feet. And that diving
- 1:40:09is basically the math of it is exponential. In
- 1:40:13other words, the pressure at 40 feet is not twice
- 1:40:17as intense as at 20 feet. It's four times and
- 1:40:20so on. And so by the time you get down to 180
- 1:40:24feet, even if you were in the clear waters of
- 1:40:29the Caribbean on a sunny day, it would be pitch
- 1:40:32dark down at 180 feet. The water would be brutally
- 1:40:36cold, and you're going to need lamps, and the
- 1:40:41pressure is going to be extraordinary. You're
- 1:40:43going to need mixed gases to spend any time down
- 1:40:46there, and you're going to have to take some
- 1:40:49serious precautions in terms of not getting the
- 1:40:52bends. You're going to have to take multiple
- 1:40:53safety stops on the way back up. But this didn't
- 1:40:58take place in the beautiful waters off the Bahamas.
- 1:41:01This took place in the North Sea, right? The
- 1:41:04water is brutally cold at the surface. That much
- 1:41:08colder down there. That much darker down there.
- 1:41:12It happened at night. So, you know, you're talking
- 1:41:15about people dealing in very adverse conditions
- 1:41:19for a considerable amount of time. plant detonation
- 1:41:23there was a there was a concrete casement of
- 1:41:26the pipeline that had to be pierced in order
- 1:41:29to cause this thing to blow up and release the
- 1:41:32gas right so you need a lot of bomb you need
- 1:41:35a lot of explosives you need and you need to
- 1:41:38be able to get away from it right before this
- 1:41:41happens so this is like you know according to
- 1:41:45everybody knows anything about scuba diving Only
- 1:41:49a state actor is capable of having access to
- 1:41:52the specialized training and the specialized
- 1:41:55high -quality divers who do this kind of work.
- 1:41:59One of the members of my family was a member
- 1:42:01of the French Navy who did exactly this kind
- 1:42:03of work. And he was an elite diver, paid many,
- 1:42:07many high into the high six figures. This is
- 1:42:10a very dangerous work. um and it's highly specialized
- 1:42:13it's not just any jackass even an experienced
- 1:42:16dive master can't do this um and then you know
- 1:42:20you're gonna need you're gonna also need access
- 1:42:21to some serious bang bangs right i mean yeah
- 1:42:25and that's not gonna be easy to get so um but
- 1:42:29that's the official story um the germans have
- 1:42:32have started the trial um they claim that the
- 1:42:36uh the villains here uh conducted this plot quote
- 1:42:40unquote on behalf of the state authorities in
- 1:42:42ukraine um there's just so much here right i
- 1:42:46mean like why did germany decide to press forward
- 1:42:49with this trial knowing that it's going to obviously
- 1:42:52imperil their relationship with ukraine at a
- 1:42:55key time why they do that why are they running
- 1:42:59with this narrative um which is almost certainly
- 1:43:02at best half true right at best and i don't think
- 1:43:07it's half true i don't think it's hardly true
- 1:43:09at all um you know what is going on here i mean
- 1:43:14they have to answer for the fact that a piece
- 1:43:16of german architecture was blown up i mean that's
- 1:43:19an act of war and it's up the economy too yeah
- 1:43:23and it's very weird right that because the argument
- 1:43:27is germany is giving money to ukraine that blew
- 1:43:30up a pipeline that damaged the economy of germany
- 1:43:33like how like how do you continuously give this
- 1:43:38corrupt government that blew up a piece of your
- 1:43:39architecture more money and more support and
- 1:43:42yet that doesn't necessarily seem to register
- 1:43:45that both of these things will happen simultaneously
- 1:43:47supposedly under this narrative the ukrainian
- 1:43:51government in some way worked with these randos
- 1:43:55to blow up a pipeline that damaged the integrity
- 1:43:58of germany from the standpoint of their ability
- 1:44:00to run businesses and those type of things and
- 1:44:02it's like however we're still going to give them
- 1:44:05money Schultz, not Schultz, still goes walking
- 1:44:10through with a 10 % approval rating into Ukraine
- 1:44:13at the moment with air bells and everything else.
- 1:44:16Like, it's a very strange thing that both of
- 1:44:19these things will happen simultaneously. Here's
- 1:44:21billions. At the same time, we're putting you
- 1:44:23on trial for blowing up our pipeline. Yeah. I
- 1:44:27mean, it's so incongruous. I mean, it's very,
- 1:44:31very weird. And the story doesn't make sense.
- 1:44:35No. You're right about the fact that the story
- 1:44:37doesn't make sense. It's like, what are the specialized
- 1:44:42skills of the people that they're claiming did
- 1:44:45this? And do they have the specialized skills?
- 1:44:48Have they shown, demonstrated that they can operate
- 1:44:50explosives, they can operate at that level in
- 1:44:53depth? Because as you pointed out, it's not just
- 1:44:55getting down there. You have to be able to function
- 1:44:57down there. plant explosives, blow up the casing,
- 1:45:00blow up the pipeline, get away from it, and then
- 1:45:03do it in a way that apparently nobody sees it
- 1:45:05because these were in natal waters at the moment
- 1:45:07where they were having natal tests. I think it
- 1:45:08was ball tops tests or something like that. It's
- 1:45:12obvious. the us had a role in this if not and
- 1:45:16i believe peace on let me read let me read something
- 1:45:19to you naval experts from germany sweden and
- 1:45:22denmark including lieutenant governor uh commander
- 1:45:24of the danish navy and an analyst at the royal
- 1:45:26danish defense college obviously a dummy, Jay
- 1:45:30Riber scoffed at the idea that a 50 -foot sailing
- 1:45:34yacht could be used for such a spectacular attack.
- 1:45:37Naval experts point out that even with very skilled
- 1:45:40divers, it would be extremely challenging for
- 1:45:43the crew of six to place, oh, sorry, at 262 feet,
- 1:45:47according to this report, which is like insane,
- 1:45:50okay? 80 meters in depth. The explosives needed
- 1:45:54to create a 2 .5 Richter scale blast. Danish
- 1:45:58and Norwegian engineering newspapers cited this
- 1:46:02lieutenant commander that it was not credible
- 1:46:06that such a small vessel could be used for the
- 1:46:08sabotage. The force of the explosion and the
- 1:46:11dispersed debris implies that several hundred
- 1:46:14kilograms of explosives were used, an impractical
- 1:46:17amount to transport with such a small sailboat.
- 1:46:22And surprising the traces of the explosives would
- 1:46:25be found on the yacht, since in this case, clearly
- 1:46:28no homemade explosive device was used. And placing
- 1:46:32the explosives on the pipeline from a small surface
- 1:46:36vessel would be practically impossible. This
- 1:46:39skepticism was shared by a former chief analyst
- 1:46:42of the Danish Defense Intelligence Service, now
- 1:46:44a senior analyst in the Danish think tank Europa.
- 1:46:48who said that a submarine was clearly used to
- 1:46:51place the explosives and pointed out that a sonar
- 1:46:54-equipped submarine can, with relative ease,
- 1:46:57accurately place a naval bottom mine with about
- 1:47:011 ,000 pounds or half a ton of explosives. That
- 1:47:06sounds more right. That just sounds more right.
- 1:47:10Whether it's divers, whether it's a sub, whatever
- 1:47:13it is, the story that they're selling doesn't
- 1:47:14make sense. So they tried to say that it was
- 1:47:18an improvised home explosive that blew up the
- 1:47:21pipeline. Is that really what they're trying
- 1:47:22to argue? Yeah, it's like an IED. That's insane.
- 1:47:28That's what I mean, right? The story makes no
- 1:47:30sense that they were running with. And the only
- 1:47:33reason I think that they would run a story like
- 1:47:34this is because the honest answer is the U .S.
- 1:47:37did it and they can't acknowledge it. If you
- 1:47:39so. They learned it on a TV show. They learned
- 1:47:42from television. I bet these guys were plumbers.
- 1:47:46Yeah, Israeli plumbers. It's okay. Because they
- 1:47:51can do anything, right? Yeah, this is very strange.
- 1:47:55Peter Ives says, the next day, Mr. Ann Applebaum,
- 1:47:58she's the neocon writer. Poland Foreign Minister
- 1:48:03Sikorski posted a thank you America on Twitter
- 1:48:07with a picture of the methane bubbling up. Yep.
- 1:48:10Because everybody knows who did it. Are these
- 1:48:15patsies? I mean, are they going to convict them
- 1:48:18and be like, look, we solved it? I mean, I guess
- 1:48:20my thing is the moment how does the U .S. president
- 1:48:24stand up there and say we are going to stop that
- 1:48:27pipeline and then the pipeline blows up and everybody's
- 1:48:30like we're bewildered by what just happened.
- 1:48:32That blows my mind. Yeah, I'm on Team Cy Hersh
- 1:48:35here. The Cy Hersh thing makes sense. Yes. Yeah,
- 1:48:40this doesn't make any sense. Anyone who's ever
- 1:48:43scuba dived recreationally knows this doesn't
- 1:48:46make sense. And by the way, even if Cy Hersh
- 1:48:48is wrong, this story still doesn't make sense.
- 1:48:51No. Cy Hersh could be wrong, but this is definitely
- 1:48:53wrong. This is definitely not true. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:48:58And by the way, so what would be the interest
- 1:49:01in trying to, since this is obviously a fairy
- 1:49:03tale and they're trying to set up these defendants,
- 1:49:06are these defendants involved in some way, any
- 1:49:10way, but just not the way we're being told? And
- 1:49:13then what is the point of trying to say they're
- 1:49:16working for the Ukrainian, what did they say,
- 1:49:19the Ukrainian state authorities? I mean, it seems
- 1:49:24like that. If I remember correctly, though, they
- 1:49:26didn't include Zelensky. meaning they carved
- 1:49:28Zelensky out of this, if I'm wrong on this. Correct
- 1:49:31me if I'm wrong, because I don't know. They may
- 1:49:33be coming up with a new story than what they
- 1:49:34were coming up with before, meaning they may
- 1:49:36come up with a different theory of the case than
- 1:49:38what they had prior. Initially, though, in the
- 1:49:40reporting was they were trying to exclude Zelensky
- 1:49:42from being involved. By the way, what Tara Predowild
- 1:49:45says is very important, too. That methane bubbling
- 1:49:48up released more global warming gases than anything
- 1:49:50else in human history. True. It was a massive
- 1:49:53economic environmental disaster. funny enviros
- 1:49:57were silent yeah true yeah they really were a
- 1:50:01little european i can't wait to have stephen
- 1:50:04kinzer the author of boiling point on yeah i
- 1:50:06mean this is the best mainstream account of like
- 1:50:11the line of we've been sold about supporting
- 1:50:14ukraine um that i've ever read i mean you know
- 1:50:17you can read this stuff in like stuff you and
- 1:50:19i have covered and and and stuff that you know
- 1:50:22people like us have written but it's like this
- 1:50:25is a mainstream mass market book that you'll
- 1:50:28be able to buy at every Barnes and Noble in the
- 1:50:30country. And I don't know how they're going to
- 1:50:33manage to try to ignore it. Yeah. I mean, look,
- 1:50:37what happened in Ukraine is a crime and it's
- 1:50:40a catastrophe in a way that is somewhat breathtaking
- 1:50:44to really get people's head around. It's a war
- 1:50:47that never needed to happen. And I know for myself,
- 1:50:50when I was at the radio station and they used
- 1:50:52to talk about Nord Stream and initially I didn't
- 1:50:55get it. Right. Because it was like Peter Oliver
- 1:50:57used to come on it every week. He's talking about
- 1:50:59Nord Stream over and over and over again. And
- 1:51:01it would kill time. But it was kind of like,
- 1:51:02why are we still talking about this fucking pipeline?
- 1:51:05And then it's blowed up. Then they blow it up.
- 1:51:08And it's like, holy shit, they blew up a pipeline.
- 1:51:11And it's like, holy shit, this is a real war.
- 1:51:13Like there are people being shot in the face
- 1:51:15to the tune of thousands every day or every.
- 1:51:17It was such a big economic link between Russia
- 1:51:19and Europe. Right. I mean, that's why they had
- 1:51:21to get rid of it. they got rid of it but it's
- 1:51:24just the fact that they did which gives context
- 1:51:27to the changing of the world like that's a big
- 1:51:29deal like that's not a minor thing to blow up
- 1:51:32a pipeline that is like 100 feet underwater i
- 1:51:36think we should continue to watch this when the
- 1:51:38try as the trial proceeds and see exactly what
- 1:51:41the how they try to frame this yes it would be
- 1:51:43very interesting and i would be very interested
- 1:51:45in the ukrainians defense yeah maybe we should
- 1:51:48try we should try to get someone on I'll reach
- 1:51:51out and see if we can get someone more attached
- 1:51:55to the trial, maybe a journalist or someone from
- 1:51:58the defense team or someone like that. It would
- 1:52:00be interesting. Because my first argument would
- 1:52:02be, how do you expect us to do that? Yeah, totally.
- 1:52:07My argument would be, your story is impossible.
- 1:52:10I don't need to prove that I'm innocent. Your
- 1:52:12story is impossible. It did not and could not
- 1:52:15have happened. Yeah, that would be my story.
- 1:52:18You should have come up with a better story.
- 1:52:20And yeah, and maybe this is just, hey, we need
- 1:52:24to have a trial in order to say that we did something,
- 1:52:26not because we want to commit. That could be
- 1:52:29that. It's like, oh, it's a mystery who did this.
- 1:52:31And it will be a mystery forever. They're insulting
- 1:52:33our, they're totally insulting our intelligence.
- 1:52:36We have two more stories to cover. Let's do super
- 1:52:39earths. So it's time to say that super earths,
- 1:52:43super earths are orbiting cooler. K -dwarf stars,
- 1:52:49maybe you can explain what a K -dwarf star is
- 1:52:51because I don't really understand, could be more
- 1:52:54habitable than Earth because they have thicker
- 1:52:56atmospheres, stabler climates, and stronger magnetic
- 1:52:59shields that would allow complex life to live
- 1:53:03longer and become even richer. So there's been
- 1:53:07experiments with garden crests, which sprouts
- 1:53:10faster under simulated light by K -dwarfs. And
- 1:53:14so basically... we might be living in kind of
- 1:53:16like a bad neighborhood of the universe. You
- 1:53:19know, it turns out we might be in the slums and
- 1:53:21we could like, we should, we should follow Elon
- 1:53:24and like go to space and get the fuck out of
- 1:53:26this place. Shake the, shake the dirt of earth
- 1:53:29off our feet and go explore the stars. It could
- 1:53:33be worse. We could be living in Mars or Mars.
- 1:53:36At one point they were like planet. I had waters
- 1:53:39and rivers and lakes and, you know, stuff like
- 1:53:42that. what like a million years ago before whatever
- 1:53:44happened in the solar system um a kato star if
- 1:53:50i'm not mistaken it's just a smaller star like
- 1:53:52you know it's like planets have classification
- 1:53:53dwarf planets etc etc from my understanding it's
- 1:53:56just a smaller star um and for the super earth
- 1:54:02thing it's like we haven't even finished up this
- 1:54:04earth before moving on to another planet it's
- 1:54:07like man we need to start considering the next
- 1:54:09place we're going to go after we screw this place
- 1:54:11up i mean it's Look, under my assumption, there
- 1:54:15is life in the galaxy. There has to be. There
- 1:54:18are too many stars, too many planets, for there
- 1:54:19not to be. The universe is just such a big place.
- 1:54:22Yeah, it's such a big place. I mean, like, there
- 1:54:24are more stars than grains of sand on every beach
- 1:54:27on Earth. And when you try to process it, like,
- 1:54:29how many grains of sand are there on Earth? And
- 1:54:31it's like, there are that many stars in the galaxy
- 1:54:32plus more, or in the universe plus more. There
- 1:54:35has to be. There has to be. It would be weird
- 1:54:38if there was, like, you would have to invoke
- 1:54:39God in order to say there's nothing else. Very
- 1:54:43strange. So will they be super earths out there?
- 1:54:47I assume they would be. My assumption is yes.
- 1:54:50Will they be super earths with life forms on
- 1:54:52it? Yes. I assume they would be. Life has a tendency
- 1:54:56to prosper. Life tries in pretty much every environment.
- 1:55:01Like volcanic pits. And you have life that are
- 1:55:03growing in volcanic pits. And you're like, how
- 1:55:05could anything live in temperatures like that?
- 1:55:07And yet, they do. So, yeah, I assume. that life,
- 1:55:11given any opportunity to grow based upon any
- 1:55:17particular dynamic that's sustainable, grows
- 1:55:20and happens. I don't know what that looks like.
- 1:55:22Should we, now that we've crapped up the Earth,
- 1:55:24should we leave and go look for something else?
- 1:55:26I think we always should have left. I mean, look,
- 1:55:29I think we should have an intergalactic civilization,
- 1:55:32but we got to get our shit straight here first.
- 1:55:33I don't want wars in space. Yeah. We're headed
- 1:55:37that way. We're headed that way, but I don't
- 1:55:39want us fighting on the moon. I think things
- 1:55:44will crash before they change. And when they
- 1:55:48crash, whatever comes after, God willing, is
- 1:55:52better than what it is now. Meaning I hope humanity
- 1:55:55gets its shit together. And obviously it's going
- 1:55:58to take something cataclysmic for it to get its
- 1:55:59shit together, but I hope it gets its shit together.
- 1:56:01And that's when I want us to go into the stars
- 1:56:03as one thing. I mean, look, this is me being
- 1:56:07idealistic and maybe even sentimental, but that's
- 1:56:10what I would prefer. I don't want us... where
- 1:56:13some rando general is like, we need to have wars
- 1:56:15on the moon. Okay, for one, I don't want us having
- 1:56:17wars in space in general, right? And more to
- 1:56:20the point, it is cheaper to have peace. That
- 1:56:23doesn't seem to matter. But it's cheaper, like
- 1:56:26many, it's easier for me to go to Russia and
- 1:56:28China and say, hey, let's make a deal on security.
- 1:56:30And in this deal on security, we agree to blah,
- 1:56:34blah, blah, blah, blah. In which case, I don't
- 1:56:36have to spend money creating weapons in space.
- 1:56:38I don't have to spend money creating new nuclear
- 1:56:39weapons. I don't have to spend money on this
- 1:56:41other shit. I can spend my money in other places.
- 1:56:43That's what I would prefer Earth to do. Will
- 1:56:46they get to that point? The U .S. does not seem
- 1:56:48to be in any mindset for that particular point
- 1:56:50of view. The rest of the world, at the very least,
- 1:56:53the non -Western world seems to be on that kick.
- 1:56:56Why do you think it's the Western world that
- 1:56:59seems to be in this mindset of conquest, even
- 1:57:02now? I mean, Europe may not be... Europe has
- 1:57:05no issue with the US going to war in Iran, short
- 1:57:07of the fact that Europe is that energy from that
- 1:57:10region. It seems like it's the rest of the world
- 1:57:14that is in this mindset of compromise. It seems
- 1:57:17like it's the West that's in this mindset of
- 1:57:18we need to retain control and authority in the
- 1:57:21context of this kind of multipolarity world that
- 1:57:24seems to be emerging. I mean, I think it's a...
- 1:57:27I think it's a hangover from like the age of
- 1:57:30exploration that led to colonialization. And,
- 1:57:33you know, and I think it's a colonialist mentality,
- 1:57:37right? And like the European powers, ironically,
- 1:57:40right? Most European countries lived in a pretty
- 1:57:43sweet place, like in terms of climate. and soil
- 1:57:47and all that like you know the french didn't
- 1:57:49have to leave they had great soil great climate
- 1:57:52uh you know everything grows there's fish there's
- 1:57:55everything all the food you need to eat you're
- 1:57:57fine um and like they up and went and decided
- 1:58:01to take over big parts of the world and you know
- 1:58:03obviously the brits the same you know same thing
- 1:58:06and spanish and belgians and so on um i think
- 1:58:09it's that same i mean there's one mentality that
- 1:58:12anglo -saxons specifically are the most aggressive
- 1:58:16i've read this theory by anthropologists are
- 1:58:18the most aggressive tribes that have ever existed
- 1:58:21in modern in quasi -modern history and that they
- 1:58:25just have they're sort of wired to go out and
- 1:58:29want to go come go to other places and kill and
- 1:58:33rape and steal it's just there it's just there
- 1:58:35it's there yeah that may be for whatever particular
- 1:58:40reason it may be their jam i don't think i mean
- 1:58:42they're just people right sure why why them um
- 1:58:47i don't know i mean i think it probably boils
- 1:58:49down to because they can or because they could
- 1:58:51um and then once you start doing things a certain
- 1:58:54way that's just what you get used to i mean i
- 1:58:57think the chinese might have been more expansionist
- 1:59:00if not for the fact that they were subjugated
- 1:59:02and contained for so long that then they had
- 1:59:05to learn you know after the during the opium
- 1:59:07wars and all that stuff they had to learn basically
- 1:59:10like oh like we need to figure out another way
- 1:59:13to become powerful. We have to do our own thing
- 1:59:16first. And then, you know, they didn't want to
- 1:59:18be on the receiving, they didn't want to put
- 1:59:20other countries on the receiving end of the same
- 1:59:22mentality that oppressed them. You know, I mean,
- 1:59:26it's hard to say. I mean, that is a big, like,
- 1:59:29Jared Diamond, you know, kind of type question,
- 1:59:33right? Like a big fat doorstop of a book could
- 1:59:37be written about this question. All right. One
- 1:59:41last thing quickly. So. 11 o 'clock. I'm going
- 1:59:46to have to close, but. Okay. All right. We'll
- 1:59:48close. And what was the thing we were going to
- 1:59:51talk about? We were going to talk about. Oh,
- 1:59:53I guess we did. We did cover it. Oh, yeah. The,
- 1:59:56the airport thing. We can do that tomorrow. Okay.
- 1:59:59So anyway, thanks everyone for tuning in. Thank
- 2:00:03you, Jamal. We'll be back tomorrow. 9 a .m. Eastern
- 2:00:07time. We'll be going for an hour. No TMI tomorrow.
- 2:00:10It's just us for an hour from 9 to 10 a .m. Thank
- 2:00:13you so much. And please support the show. And
- 2:00:16for those of you who are supporting us, you're
- 2:00:19about to see your names scroll by in the outro.
- 2:00:22Ciao. Have a good one, guys.
