- 0:07issues. Brought to you by the
- 0:10hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:40Hi, it's Adam here. And in this episode of The
- 0:43Hypnotist, you can be listening to a weight loss hypnosis
- 0:47session. And it was created for a client
- 0:50that had made a lot of progress, but they really wanted to shift
- 0:55some belly fat. And what was interesting with
- 0:57this client is that generally they were eating pretty healthy,
- 1:01quite a high percentage already of green carbohydrates, things
- 1:05like vegetables and fresh fruits.
- 1:08But that around about 40% of what they were eating could be
- 1:13considered processed foods. Now processed foods is different
- 1:17from ultra high processed foods. An ultra high processed food
- 1:21that would be things like a fizzy drink or it might be some
- 1:26kind of confectionery or some kind of ready meal with lots and
- 1:34lots of salt and sugar and and that kind of stuff.
- 1:37But if you think of one level below that, which is just
- 1:39processed foods, bread goes through a process, tends to have
- 1:44refined carbohydrates. It's got various ingredients
- 1:47mixed together. So you can have processed foods
- 1:52which can even be healthy, but it still goes through a process.
- 1:57And then you can have processed foods that are really not
- 2:00healthy. And generally the clue to look
- 2:02for if a processed food is unhealthy is to look for what is
- 2:08known as the three white poisons.
- 2:11If it has a lot of salt, sugar or white flour, generally it's
- 2:16the kind of thing that is going to be addictive and not that
- 2:21nutritional could give you energy.
- 2:23There's lots of energy and sugar, lots of energy, and flour
- 2:27and salt tends to be a very cheap way to make things feel
- 2:31like they taste better. But these are just very
- 2:34addictive substances that tend to lead to health problems.
- 2:38You know, things like a high diet in refined carbohydrates
- 2:44increases the probability of various lifestyle related issues
- 2:48like type 2 diabetes and obesity, heart disease, those
- 2:52kind of things. When people tend to have lots
- 2:55and lots of fresh Whole Foods, they tend to get sick a lot less
- 3:00and they tend to have a different body composition.
- 3:03So this is all about changing the body composition by changing
- 3:08the consumption of types of food.
- 3:12And there's a great phrase which is you are what you eat.
- 3:16And there's a lot of truth to that.
- 3:18So if generally you're eating lots of really processed foods
- 3:22filled with salt, sugar and flour, you're probably more
- 3:26likely to be overweight and more likely to be sick more often,
- 3:29probably would affect dental health and skin condition and
- 3:32lots of other things. If you have lots and lots of
- 3:35vibrant, colorful fruits and vegetables, you're probably
- 3:37going to be quite healthy and probably leaner and slimmer.
- 3:40And that's the essence of what's going on in this session, this
- 3:44idea of making that process enjoyable, making it a fun
- 3:47challenge, and feeling that there's lots of different
- 3:50variety and options when it comes to making different meals.
- 3:55This particular client didn't tend to have breakfast anyway.
- 3:58You can consider that a form of intermittent fasting tends to
- 4:02help you lose weight. So we don't want to change that
- 4:04bit. It was just about the amount of
- 4:06processed foods that we're eating being eaten either in
- 4:09snacks or meals. Outside of that.
- 4:11As that changes, the body composition is likely to change
- 4:14too. If you are struggling with
- 4:16weight. I appreciate the time of this
- 4:18recording. It's December.
- 4:20We're coming up to a period of time where a lot of people tend
- 4:24to have a lot of processed foods, a lot of, let's say high
- 4:29calorific foods, lots of chocolates and desserts and
- 4:32things like that. This tends to be the time of
- 4:35year when people make an evaluation that they want to
- 4:39create a change. And if you've been thinking
- 4:41about working with a hypnotherapist to, to lose
- 4:44weight or change body fat or lose belly fat, this is
- 4:49something that I've done a lot for the first two or three years
- 4:53of being a hypnotherapist, almost every single client that
- 4:55I worked with was for weight loss.
- 4:57I have a, a brand called Hypno Slimming.
- 4:59I don't really focus that on on too much these days, but for the
- 5:02first 3 or 4 years, I was doing lots and lots of weight loss
- 5:06clients. And therefore you build up lots
- 5:08of distinctions over that time period to know what works and
- 5:12what doesn't work. So if you are curious to work
- 5:15with me directly to lose weight or change body composition,
- 5:19there will be a link in the show notes where you can schedule
- 5:20that free consultation call to explore working with me.
- 5:23For now, though, you might get some value from this session.
- 5:25So find a quiet, comfortable place where you won't be
- 5:27disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 6:20Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in a
- 6:31slow, long, quiet breath of relaxation.
- 6:38And as you exhale, just allow yourself to feel that now is the
- 6:47time to let go. And maybe as you exhale, you
- 6:53close your eyes, or maybe your eyes are already closed, but
- 7:00just feel that as you breathe in and breathe out, you feel a
- 7:06wonderful sense of ever increasing relaxation.
- 7:17Maybe as you breathe in, you could imagine breathing in a
- 7:24wonderful feeling of joy and optimism, so you just feel more
- 7:30relaxed and more comfortable and happier with every inward
- 7:36breath. And as you exhale, I wonder if
- 7:41you could imagine letting go of anything that is depriving you
- 7:48of joy or self acceptance. Any memories of the past, any
- 7:58niggling thoughts or in a dialogue that holds you back,
- 8:05Just imagine releasing it and feeling it.
- 8:08Leave your body in that outward breath.
- 8:16With each inhale, allow yourself to feel lighter and with each
- 8:21exhale continue to release any tension or stress.
- 8:31As your body relaxes, your imagination awakens and I wonder
- 8:38if you could imagine yourself standing in a beautiful,
- 8:42peaceful garden. Doesn't have to be your garden,
- 8:48it could be a garden of your imagination, a place that feels
- 8:53calm and serene. Maybe on a spring or summer's
- 8:58day, maybe you could imagine the air being fresh and clean, the
- 9:06sun warm and the colours of nature bright and vibrant.
- 9:15And maybe this garden represents your inner mind, fertile and
- 9:24ready for new, empowering ideas to take root.
- 9:35And I wonder if you could explore this garden.
- 9:42Maybe you notice a gentle pathway ahead, and what if each
- 9:47step you take brings you deeper into relaxation?
- 9:55And this might be a pathway made of grass or cobbled stones or
- 9:59patio. But as you step, I wonder if you
- 10:05could imagine numbers either in your mind or numbers written.
- 10:13They're on the path in front of you, numbers going down from
- 10:1812:50. And each number takes you deeper
- 10:25and deeper into relaxation. 10 Deeper and more relaxed. 9
- 10:35Letting go completely. 8 Feeling calm and safe, breathe in and
- 10:47breathe out as seven, your body sinks into comfort, Six, feeling
- 10:56a wonderful feeling of peace and serenity, and five, halfway down
- 11:05this pathway, deeply relaxed now. 4 As you breathe in that
- 11:13fresh air, feel that calmness is flowing through you. 3 Almost
- 11:20there. 2 Deeply at peace now and one at the end of this pathway.
- 11:28Feel yourself mindfully present in this state of relaxation and
- 11:38in this calm state. Your mind is open and ready to
- 11:45embrace new habits, healthy habits that feel natural and
- 11:52effortless. I want you to imagine now a
- 12:00table before you. Imagine The table has two sides
- 12:10and on one side food with bright vibrant colours, fresh
- 12:17vegetables, wholesome grains, luscious fruits like berries,
- 12:25all alive with the energy of sunshine and rainwater.
- 12:30And on the other side, foods that are processed, refined,
- 12:39lacking colour and filled with the three white poisons.
- 12:49And maybe you see on the other side of the table with all that
- 12:52processed food, pasta, breads, sugary treats, maybe foods that
- 13:01are made with white flour, lots of salt and hidden sugar.
- 13:10Intuitively you know that if all you did was live on those foods
- 13:17that are processed, you would have a future of more illness
- 13:23and sickness and more belly fat. But you can't help but feel
- 13:28drawn to the colourful, wholesome foods, real foods,
- 13:37knowing that that will take you to a future of health, vitality
- 13:42and a slim, flat belly. Because these are foods that
- 13:49nourish you from the inside out, filling you with energy,
- 13:55vitality and clarity. The processed food seem heavy,
- 14:03lifeless and unappealing, almost like you're seeing all of those
- 14:11foods in black and white and far away.
- 14:15You feel a natural disinterest, maybe even a repulsion towards
- 14:22these refined foods as you understand they don't serve you,
- 14:29your body or your mind. Maybe you think beyond this
- 14:36table, your own kitchen refrigerator, your own plates at
- 14:42meal times. Maybe you can picture your meals
- 14:46becoming simpler yet more satisfying with a focus on
- 14:53single ingredient foods, things like fresh vegetables, whole
- 14:59grains, lots of berries or brightly coloured fruits.
- 15:06And when you prepare a meal, I wonder if you could imagine
- 15:10feeling inspired, almost playful, as you take on the
- 15:16challenge of creating delicious dishes with natural whole
- 15:22ingredients. This is not a chore.
- 15:27Cooking and preparing meals becomes a fun game and you enjoy
- 15:33seeing how many different combinations you can create in
- 15:39half an hour or less. You can think of those core
- 15:46ingredients, foods you love anyway.
- 15:51If you imagine a combination lock, just 4 numbers creates
- 15:55hundreds of different possibilities, and therefore the
- 16:02same thing is true. Four different ingredients could
- 16:08create hundreds of different meals.
- 16:15The portions, the way they're prepared, the way they're cooked
- 16:20all create so many different possibilities and you feel
- 16:27empowered knowing that each meal helps you become stronger,
- 16:36healthier and lighter. I want you to imagine perhaps
- 16:48even tomorrow, waking up in your morning, starting with just a
- 16:55single energising cup of coffee. As you sip it, feel your body
- 17:02activating it's fat burning mode.
- 17:07Maybe you could visualize your body efficiently converting
- 17:11stored fat, especially around the belly into ketones, into
- 17:19energy. This fills you with a sense of
- 17:22achievement and pride. You are training your body to
- 17:26burn fat as fuel and it feels amazing.
- 17:33And throughout your day. What if you were to crave the
- 17:37purest drink of all water? Imagine the cool, refreshing
- 17:45taste of water cleansing and hydrating every cell in your
- 17:50body. Imagine feeling a deep
- 17:54connection to water, the simplest and perhaps the most
- 18:03powerful of all the liquids. The planet life itself does not
- 18:09exist without water. It's all you want to drink
- 18:14because it makes you feel clear, light and vibrant.
- 18:23And maybe you can imagine your future thriving in this new way
- 18:27of eating, feeling deeply satisfied by the natural
- 18:32flavours of real, wholesome foods.
- 18:38And you enjoy the bright colours of your meals, the crunch of
- 18:42fresh vegetables, the sweetest of berries and the grounding
- 18:48satisfaction of grains and lentils.
- 18:53No restrictions, just a joyful transformation.
- 18:59You are discovering how amazing it feels to fuel your body with
- 19:05foods full of health and vitality, foods that are the
- 19:11gifts of nature, foods that honour your health and vitality.
- 19:25I want you to get a sense that too much control is out of
- 19:28control. Even bodybuilders with the
- 19:33lowest body fat imaginable will have cheat meals because they
- 19:39know that is a way of giving their body the cravings they
- 19:52seek without it getting out of control.
- 19:58So imagine a meal or two each week.
- 20:03Eat whatever you like. And maybe you'll be surprised
- 20:09it's not as enjoyable as you think it is, as you start to
- 20:14prefer natural, Whole Foods more.
- 20:19And I wonder if you could imagine yourself in just a few
- 20:22weeks or a few months, standing in front of a mirror.
- 20:27Notice how your body looks lighter, leaner, flatter.
- 20:32Around the belly you see a glow in your skin, clarity in your
- 20:39eyes, a big smile on your face, and you feel proud of how far
- 20:45you've come enjoying every step of this transformative
- 20:51challenge. The future where you look
- 20:56forward to each meal, each sip of water, each opportunity to
- 21:01nourish yourself. This is not just a diet, it's a
- 21:07lifestyle, a way of eating. A diet is something you start
- 21:13and finish. A lifestyle is a way of living
- 21:17that you could live that way forever because it's so
- 21:21enjoyable and nourishing. Especially a lifestyle that
- 21:26aligns with your values, your goals, and your desire to feel
- 21:31your best. And as you leave the garden,
- 21:39understanding that the garden represent your minds, look for
- 21:43two or three weeds in the garden just before you leave.
- 21:49These weeds could represent a limiting belief, a fear, some
- 21:55disempowering narrative that's held you back in the past.
- 21:59Before you leave the garden, make sure you pluck the weeds,
- 22:05make sure they're far away from the garden, and make sure you
- 22:09get the weed right from the root, making it impossible to
- 22:14grow back and find yourself gravitating to the present.
- 22:19As you take a deep breath in through your nose and out
- 22:25through your nose, wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 22:29Connect fully into the here and now.
- 22:34I will shortly count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 22:36You will awaken feeling optimistic, enthusiastic,
- 22:42looking to have fun with this new way of eating and living
- 22:48that takes you towards that future of health, vitality in
- 22:52that flat lean belly starting to count to awaken you. 123 Waking
- 23:03up. 456 More alert 7-8 Open your eyes.
- 23:10Open your eyes. 910 Wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
