- 0:20Speaker 1: Today is a very special day. Today is the day
- 0:24Speaker 1: we have our very first guest on For the Dads.
- 0:28Speaker 1: He's a PT sixer. I'll get to let's say, if
- 0:30Speaker 1: you haven't followed our socials, our socials ad for the dadspot.
- 0:33Speaker 1: If you've been on those, you know who the guess
- 0:34Speaker 1: is going to be. But if not, I'm going to
- 0:36Speaker 1: keep you hanging for a little bit longer. I hope
- 0:38Speaker 1: your power is back on. I hope your trash is
- 0:40Speaker 1: taken out. It is. We are recording because we're going
- 0:42Speaker 1: to the Super Bowl next week. I know by the
- 0:43Speaker 1: time this drops we had to backlog this one, YEP,
- 0:46Speaker 1: but right now it is January thirtieth, it's a Friday, YEP.
- 0:49Speaker 2: We're on day six right now. No power.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Fortunately, the power is onto the shop. It just went
- 0:55Speaker 1: out when we were five minutes ago, five minutes ago,
- 0:58Speaker 1: when we were about eight minutes deep of this episod.
- 1:00Speaker 1: So we're gonna try and recreate the energy because again optimism.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 1:04Speaker 1: But our guests that we have on today, he's a
- 1:08Speaker 1: special one.
- 1:09Speaker 2: He's a special boy, A rumored siko, a rumored.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Sicco three time pro bowler, ten years in the NFL.
- 1:17Speaker 1: You know him from Busting with the Boys, Michigan man.
- 1:20Speaker 1: You know him from ESPN. You know him from Michigan,
- 1:23Speaker 1: and you also know him as an all time dad
- 1:26Speaker 1: of two beautiful girls winning Willow at pet Sikos. Give
- 1:29Speaker 1: it up in the comments for Taylor Lewan like that introduction.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I like it's so nice. We did it twice, buddy, Yeah,
- 1:40Speaker 3: it's yeah, optimism.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Can you allude to some of the magic that we
- 1:45Speaker 1: had that we're gonna do what We're gonna do our
- 1:46Speaker 1: best to keep it there.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I'll say this, man, like I've been watching from afar.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I remember when the first time you kind of came
- 1:51Speaker 3: to me in our little team meeting room as I
- 1:52Speaker 3: ham'm thinking about starting this show about Dad's I want
- 1:55Speaker 3: to Essentially, you're asking for the blessing, Like, are you
- 1:57Speaker 3: cool if I go and start this show? And I
- 1:59Speaker 3: was like planning of the yeah, I was like, yeah,
- 2:02Speaker 3: I think it would be awesome. Like you're obviously big
- 2:04Speaker 3: into it all that you bring up shirm he's gonna
- 2:07Speaker 3: be able soon to be father. At the time, He's like,
- 2:09Speaker 3: he would be great. There's no doubt, sherm in front
- 2:11Speaker 3: of a camera is better than behind the camera. You're
- 2:13Speaker 3: actually great behind the camera. That's not a shot. Well, no,
- 2:16Speaker 3: you're a phenomenal talent. I'll take that, is what I'm saying.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I'll take that. And I knew eventually this would happen,
- 2:23Speaker 3: This like would merge of like you guys would want
- 2:25Speaker 3: guests eventually, and I thought, hopefully, you know.
- 2:29Speaker 2: God willing, I would become one of those guests.
- 2:32Speaker 3: And it's really cool for me because the way my
- 2:35Speaker 3: family operates, the way my wife and I operate, is
- 2:38Speaker 3: we uh protect, trying to protect and preserve like our children.
- 2:42Speaker 3: We don't want in the public light. We see anything,
- 2:45Speaker 3: and I get to see you guys post about your kids,
- 2:48Speaker 3: and there's a level of fulm with that. I have
- 2:50Speaker 3: at times being like, oh, look how happy that beautiful
- 2:52Speaker 3: family is. And a lot of times you play the
- 2:53Speaker 3: game he's like, well it is the Instagram family happy.
- 2:55Speaker 3: But I knowing both of you, I'm like, this is
- 2:57Speaker 3: truly them and it's just really cool to see. And
- 3:00Speaker 3: so this will be the first time in my podcasting
- 3:03Speaker 3: professional career that I will truly be talking about my
- 3:05Speaker 3: family in.
- 3:06Speaker 2: A way the entire episode.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Yeah that I have not really done on Busting with
- 3:09Speaker 3: the Boys. There's been emotional times, there's been great stories
- 3:12Speaker 3: and stuff like that, but this is a time where
- 3:14Speaker 3: it's truly based around my family. Our families. Yeah, how
- 3:17Speaker 3: we're all integrated together. And dude, I'm fired up.
- 3:20Speaker 1: You're a great storyteller because it's spotty, like you were
- 3:23Speaker 1: alluding to, it's it's spotty on in the bust and universe,
- 3:25Speaker 1: and you talk about on Busting with the Boys, But
- 3:27Speaker 1: the fact that we're going to have a dedicated keeping
- 3:29Speaker 1: under an hour, all fake keep under an hour, that's
- 3:32Speaker 1: the thing, is like, I gotta go in an hour, right,
- 3:35Speaker 1: we can't do this any longer than an hour. I
- 3:36Speaker 1: can't do this any longer than an hour. And luckily
- 3:38Speaker 1: we all got a hard app your Patcico.
- 3:40Speaker 2: People say that people, there's.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Rumors swirling, and it's only it's up to me to
- 3:44Speaker 1: prove to the viewer today that I'm a ptsico. Are
- 3:47Speaker 1: you aware that this is the strongest fatherhood community going
- 3:50Speaker 1: on right now in the modern day?
- 3:51Speaker 2: Can I say something else? Please?
- 3:53Speaker 3: I know you guys are like thirty six thirty seven
- 3:55Speaker 3: episodes into this whole thing.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and it.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Is incredible to see the village of the tribe that
- 4:01Speaker 3: the two of you have established, not only in the
- 4:03Speaker 3: continental United States, but worldwide internationally. These people coming out
- 4:08Speaker 3: of nowhere. And the thing that's been the most mind
- 4:10Speaker 3: blowing to me because it doesn't happen. I'm bustling with
- 4:11Speaker 3: the boys. Got a lot of ladies over here at.
- 4:17Speaker 1: YEP.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Yes, so I am very excited to meet these people,
- 4:23Speaker 3: to embrace fatherhood, embrace family all that on this show.
- 4:29Speaker 1: You can be more excited. Yeah. And again, for the
- 4:31Speaker 1: audience out there watching, listening, wherever you're getting your podcast,
- 4:33Speaker 1: please make sure you're following and subscribe. Please. But this
- 4:37Speaker 1: won't be just a This isn't like an interview. This
- 4:39Speaker 1: is the boy is co hosting. Anything we have on
- 4:42Speaker 1: a guest, they will be co hosting, they will be
- 4:43Speaker 1: immersed in our show. Tailor's got a lot of cards
- 4:47Speaker 1: around them because again we love to engage with our
- 4:50Speaker 1: audience at for the Dad's Pod on social media. So
- 4:52Speaker 1: if you drop comments, we get them on cards. If
- 4:55Speaker 1: you want to go the extra mile and be featured
- 4:57Speaker 1: featured on the show, you call into a hotline six
- 4:59Speaker 1: on one that Dads. That is where if we feature
- 5:01Speaker 1: your voicemail, your calling, whether it's a dad win, Dad lost,
- 5:04Speaker 1: anything you want to vent to the boys, we play it.
- 5:07Speaker 2: We send you some merch.
- 5:08Speaker 1: If you can't, if you're international and you can't call
- 5:11Speaker 1: into the hotline, or you don't want your voice to
- 5:13Speaker 1: be heard, you simply just write in an email six
- 5:16Speaker 1: and one The Dad's at gmail dot com. So we
- 5:17Speaker 1: do comments, We do engagement all throughout the episode. Taylor's
- 5:20Speaker 1: got a lot here in front of him right now.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Oh and big news that we got during that little
- 5:25Speaker 1: power Yes five minutes that we just had.
- 5:27Speaker 2: We just hit twenty thousand on YouTube. We just hit
- 5:30Speaker 2: twenty thousand subscribers on YouTube. And that's it.
- 5:32Speaker 4: That's really just thinking PT six. I mean truly like
- 5:36Speaker 4: thank you PT six for subscribing, but also huge shout
- 5:39Speaker 4: out to PT six because he had a really good
- 5:43Speaker 4: number of like comments and questions with what Two days
- 5:46Speaker 4: before we were recording, we put out a tweet, a
- 5:49Speaker 4: post and some stuff and they came through. So shout
- 5:52Speaker 4: out PT six and Empty six.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Derek was dropped in the chat the other day too.
- 5:56Speaker 1: The reddit, the reddit page, Oh you drop in the
- 5:59Speaker 1: little clip for the video.
- 6:01Speaker 5: We talked about, uh, I guess technically two episodes ago
- 6:03Speaker 5: about how they were like, oh, our time will come,
- 6:05Speaker 5: Our time will come. We have a discussion here Taylor
- 6:08Speaker 5: about like reddit and just we don't use it and
- 6:10Speaker 5: so what does it mean? And we found that Peticos
- 6:12Speaker 5: had made us a reddit so lastep or two episodes ago,
- 6:15Speaker 5: we shouted it out and then I sent a link
- 6:17Speaker 5: to the boys. They posted and said we're famous with
- 6:20Speaker 5: the clip of us discussing, let's go created reddit page.
- 6:23Speaker 2: So the community is absurd.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Reddit is a world that I've never like truly been in.
- 6:29Speaker 3: I've touched a link or two in my life and
- 6:32Speaker 3: I've looked, buddy, you had some you had some on
- 6:36Speaker 3: that not even yeah, you had sickos in general, and
- 6:41Speaker 3: you gotta love them too, because that's as the heartbeat
- 6:43Speaker 3: right there, you're heartbeat. They will make you rise and
- 6:46Speaker 3: fall baba in a lot of ways.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Take your ass out if you don't, if you'll correct, Yeah,
- 6:55Speaker 2: you know.
- 6:55Speaker 1: You're in the pocket of Reddit, where I would assume
- 6:57Speaker 1: it's the same. But you click the link that you
- 7:00Speaker 1: do click, you hit it and then when Safari opens up,
- 7:02Speaker 1: it's like, do you want to open it up in
- 7:03Speaker 1: the app or do you want to stay on you
- 7:05Speaker 1: stay on the browser. Oh you got to make a
- 7:06Speaker 1: profile to get on Reddit. You feel like you always
- 7:09Speaker 1: stay on the browser the.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Minute use your name and you have a password and
- 7:14Speaker 3: you have to verify the pastor there's email involved. That's
- 7:17Speaker 3: when you are now in the cold. You're you're in
- 7:20Speaker 3: this your your official sicko speaking. We did have a
- 7:24Speaker 3: cicco right in this from Joe Vir's on Instagram. And
- 7:28Speaker 3: this is for you to read before we kick off.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Now, we did, we did read this call.
- 7:32Speaker 3: We did, we did, and I just wanted to do
- 7:34Speaker 3: the reason why I brought that up is my reading abilities.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Anybody who watches Bus with the Boy's nose subpar. It's
- 7:39Speaker 3: not great Uh, so I have to pre read. I
- 7:42Speaker 3: got to pre read before I actually read live.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Now I'm in my head, I'm like, do I do
- 7:46Speaker 1: the thing where I like Taylor? He needed the room
- 7:48Speaker 1: for ten minutes while we have to walk out of
- 7:50Speaker 1: the shop and hey, if you want to say that
- 7:52Speaker 1: you're more than would it again? It was Taylor?
- 7:59Speaker 2: And then we gave the cards.
- 8:00Speaker 1: You saw the cards and he was like, gentlemen, can
- 8:02Speaker 1: we all leave the office. Can you all step outside
- 8:04Speaker 1: and give me ten minutes?
- 8:12Speaker 2: You're not You're not? Do I do the clipper with
- 8:16Speaker 2: the big red doll?
- 8:17Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 8:18Speaker 2: Yeah, we got the same book?
- 8:22Speaker 7: Yes, all right?
- 8:23Speaker 2: This is Joe Vieers underscore Instagram Joe Viers Why why
- 8:27Speaker 2: am I actually excited for this? The crossover every MT
- 8:32Speaker 2: sixer probably dreaded after years of hearing bust with the
- 8:35Speaker 2: boys prior to f t D. It's your time to
- 8:39Speaker 2: shine as a pt sico. Taylor, please don't let us
- 8:42Speaker 2: down and you want It's from an empty six er
- 8:44Speaker 2: MT sixer, I am going to do my absolute best.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Then here theres hear us do we do on busts?
- 8:53Speaker 2: And just think?
- 8:54Speaker 1: What? Why do we got to listen to this? In
- 8:56Speaker 1: our long drive. Now they have for the dads. Moms
- 8:59Speaker 1: get included a little bit. Okay, that's that's the same
- 9:01Speaker 1: monoxious guy that I hate listening to that you listened to.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Yeah, now the other I like to picture these beautiful
- 9:07Speaker 3: women sitting passenger side in the cars, are driving listening
- 9:10Speaker 3: to Pt.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Six before the dads and smiling.
- 9:13Speaker 3: To themselves, and every two or three times an episode
- 9:15Speaker 3: looking over and goes, that's so you.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you do the same thing.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy you do that, You do that, And
- 9:21Speaker 3: then he'll have a chance to look over and be like,
- 9:22Speaker 3: you've done that to me.
- 9:23Speaker 2: And then now we're having fun. We're having fun, and
- 9:26Speaker 2: that's all that matter.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Like see babble tell you when I when I want
- 9:29Speaker 1: to get a little action, that's right.
- 9:30Speaker 2: It ain't personal. All the guys feel this way. Electricity
- 9:33Speaker 2: in there and there's a bit of a shockwave. It
- 9:38Speaker 2: ain't just me out there. We're all trying to scratch
- 9:40Speaker 2: that age a little bit.
- 9:41Speaker 1: You know what.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Part of that deal.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Part of that deal, I will say, there is very
- 9:46Speaker 4: little difference between will comptent on busting with the boys
- 9:49Speaker 4: and will competent on for the dads. It's really that
- 9:52Speaker 4: they're just seeing a completely different side of you as
- 9:56Speaker 4: far as like the humanity of you.
- 9:58Speaker 2: So it just get married to that household. You said,
- 10:01Speaker 2: what jokes, get married to in the house Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I'm sitting there like I do see a little bit
- 10:06Speaker 2: of a difference.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Much more positive, like not in a negative way, like
- 10:10Speaker 3: straightforward busting like whatever wills feeling that day.
- 10:13Speaker 2: That's the way you're gonna get. This feels like a
- 10:16Speaker 2: like a.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Light positive and it's not saying you're not Yeah yeah
- 10:21Speaker 3: positive guy, catching the cat.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Take it a different way. Let's not take it that way.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Let's take the way it was meant to be presented
- 10:28Speaker 2: to you. It's hard to be taking that way.
- 10:30Speaker 1: When we got on these beautiful hats, no doubt you
- 10:32Speaker 1: look good going on, Taylor looks good? Well, yeah, like
- 10:37Speaker 1: what you've been married for? What s for? Four years?
- 10:40Speaker 1: Five years?
- 10:41Speaker 2: Four years?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Rooster four? Yeah? So four years?
- 10:44Speaker 3: What is How has Valentine's Day changed for you since
- 10:48Speaker 3: being established? Because I know it's changed a lot for me. Yeah,
- 10:52Speaker 3: it changed a lot for me, and it's a I'm
- 10:55Speaker 3: being honest with you, it's really nice now.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I think you just know what time. It is on
- 10:58Speaker 1: Valentine's Day, you know, I mean there's no second guess.
- 11:01Speaker 1: There's a question like, hey, you know all the hoops
- 11:03Speaker 1: you jump through to set up maybe a perfect little
- 11:06Speaker 1: Valentine's Day night?
- 11:07Speaker 2: Do they want that? Do I want that? Are they
- 11:09Speaker 2: expecting me to have this?
- 11:10Speaker 1: I don't really want to do it, but I also
- 11:12Speaker 1: I'm into you, so maybe I should do this. Yeah.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Now it's just more a little straightforward. We're going to
- 11:17Speaker 1: do it date night. We're gonna go out. We know
- 11:19Speaker 1: we're gonna Hey, nobody getting too full tonight. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:23Speaker 1: you want oysters, oysters in Blue bearry. Okay, they're a
- 11:27Speaker 1: little more into it. They know what's going to happen.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Instead of fighting it. Hey do I want to do?
- 11:30Speaker 1: I not want to?
- 11:31Speaker 2: They know they're going to. Yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 3: So now it's like we got these walls down. We're
- 11:34Speaker 3: having a little more fun with Yeah. Pressure, Pressure's way
- 11:37Speaker 3: down on Valentine's d Yeah, yeah, pressure's way down in
- 11:40Speaker 3: that instance for me younger, like we like early married,
- 11:44Speaker 3: because anyone who knows my story about me and my
- 11:46Speaker 3: wife is we got engaged in five weeks, married in
- 11:48Speaker 3: two months. So there was a very quick courting process
- 11:51Speaker 3: for me. But we've been in April will be married
- 11:53Speaker 3: for ten years and we looked at, hey, we got
- 11:57Speaker 3: Valentine's Day coming up, and it turns into there's not
- 12:00Speaker 3: an expectation on.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Me anymore where it's like what are you gonna do?
- 12:04Speaker 1: What are we up to?
- 12:05Speaker 7: Like?
- 12:05Speaker 1: What's your playing for Valentine's Day? Now? It's like, hey,
- 12:06Speaker 1: what do we want to do on this special day
- 12:08Speaker 1: that we get to be ours? Yeah, people's massages, grab.
- 12:11Speaker 3: A little yeah, whatever, way up to It's really like,
- 12:14Speaker 3: let's just have a nice time together, Let's make let's
- 12:16Speaker 3: be intentional about the two of us as opposed to
- 12:19Speaker 3: got to make sure there's a little rose petals going. Yeah,
- 12:22Speaker 3: kind of the theatrics that I might not be great at.
- 12:24Speaker 1: But do you do you approaching Valentine's Day? Do you
- 12:28Speaker 1: think or maybe what are the holidays? And it could
- 12:30Speaker 1: be Valentine's Day where you might think like let me
- 12:33Speaker 1: get her on her toes here, let me throw her
- 12:34Speaker 1: off guard. She thinks nothing's gonna happen. Now, it might
- 12:38Speaker 1: not be I do it might it might not be huge,
- 12:41Speaker 1: but just something little I knew that wasn't coming.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know if comfort's been my enemy, but
- 12:48Speaker 3: I used to a lot more than I do now.
- 12:50Speaker 3: I think as we get older and I'm almost ten
- 12:53Speaker 3: years married, I'm.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Like, hey, we're good.
- 12:55Speaker 3: I do this like, I know you're happy. I'm extremely happy.
- 12:58Speaker 3: If you ever leave me, I'll you know.
- 13:02Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. So yeah, I tell my
- 13:05Speaker 2: wife like, hey, if you ever left me, I just
- 13:06Speaker 2: follow you and hang out like I'd be like, what
- 13:09Speaker 2: are you doing? But Taylor, you did this. I'm like,
- 13:11Speaker 2: come on, man, we're gonna be boys still right, no
- 13:14Speaker 2: matter what. I still love you.
- 13:16Speaker 3: But so yeah, for me, it's like, let's just have
- 13:18Speaker 3: a good time. Let stop at the expectation. I think
- 13:20Speaker 3: communication as we've gotten older has gone a lot better to.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Where there's not this.
- 13:24Speaker 3: If there's ever been a level which Tail's really good
- 13:26Speaker 3: about communication, but there's never if there ever has been
- 13:29Speaker 3: a you need to know what I'm thinking, that's gone
- 13:31Speaker 3: for us to where she's like this is how I feel, Like, well,
- 13:33Speaker 3: this is how I feel. And then you get a
- 13:35Speaker 3: little pillow talk in, you try to work it out,
- 13:37Speaker 3: make a little little shock wave.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, buddy, something going.
- 13:44Speaker 2: It feels like the super Bowl too, is more like anniversary. Yeah,
- 13:48Speaker 2: I agree with that. Wait, wait what do you mean
- 13:50Speaker 2: by that?
- 13:51Speaker 1: So like the pressure of like Valentine's Day when you're married,
- 13:55Speaker 1: I feel like more of that pressure that ball gets
- 13:57Speaker 1: fully into got because you're married, Like obviously you celebrate
- 14:01Speaker 1: anniversary like if you're dating or you're series and stuff
- 14:03Speaker 1: like that.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I think the expectation of pressure that might be felt
- 14:07Speaker 1: seeing all that gets put more towards anniversary than Valentine.
- 14:10Speaker 4: We are so close to the actual NFL Super Bowl
- 14:13Speaker 4: that I took that way.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Too literally, Yeah that's fair.
- 14:17Speaker 2: I was like, why would that be an anniversary? You
- 14:20Speaker 2: should do it?
- 14:21Speaker 3: Maybe we should change that. PT six Ors like change
- 14:23Speaker 3: Valentine's Day and put it on Super Bowl weekend.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, so Saturday. You just get it.
- 14:28Speaker 5: You know next year that's happening. Next year Valentine's Day
- 14:31Speaker 5: will be on Super Bowl. Hey really, I was informed
- 14:33Speaker 5: by my fiance two days ago.
- 14:35Speaker 2: They just made the rule because it just sirt.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Taylors say, it breaking coming out from for the dads.
- 14:41Speaker 1: You guys are welcome for that.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Do you all have a go to for Valentine's Day?
- 14:45Speaker 4: I do not, But like, do you have something that
- 14:47Speaker 4: you do no matter what, every single year.
- 14:49Speaker 2: But I have a go to.
- 14:51Speaker 1: My go to is, oh shit, Valentine's Days this weekend, yeah,
- 14:55Speaker 1: or oh shit.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Valentine's Days in a cup. I have a go to.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I have to go to what you're go to?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Shame?
- 15:01Speaker 3: Oh my go to on Valentine's Day. Every Valentine's Day,
- 15:06Speaker 3: I get twelve dozen bouquets of flowers.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Tails are a rose girl. She's like she likes more
- 15:10Speaker 2: like wild flowers.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Yeah, twelve dozen or sorry, one dozen, twelve total bouquets
- 15:15Speaker 3: of flowers. And I'll be like establishing like one month
- 15:18Speaker 3: for every month since the last time I.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Had a Valentine's Day her what we do is just
- 15:23Speaker 1: so be.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Year ten and I told her every year ten it resets.
- 15:28Speaker 3: So every year I've gotten her a dozen bouquets of
- 15:32Speaker 3: flowers per year. So last year I got her nine
- 15:36Speaker 3: dozen bouquets of flowers. And I just have people. It's
- 15:40Speaker 3: a totally financially irresponsible thing to do. It's just ridiculous.
- 15:44Speaker 3: But it's the theatrics in my head that I'm like,
- 15:46Speaker 3: how do I want to when my kids are older
- 15:48Speaker 3: and I am dead and gone? Are they to explain
- 15:51Speaker 3: their father And it's like dad love theatrics, And that's
- 15:54Speaker 3: where I have to really buy into it.
- 15:55Speaker 1: So and I think, too, great work. You're setting a
- 15:59Speaker 1: standard for your little You are exactly dude. I can't
- 16:02Speaker 1: wait to get in that conversation.
- 16:03Speaker 3: I talked to my eight year old all the time
- 16:05Speaker 3: about this is why fathers and daughters and mothers are.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Important, and this is what you can learn. Yeah, I
- 16:10Speaker 1: have that as a as a as a massive topic
- 16:12Speaker 1: as you being the cat here that is the closest
- 16:15Speaker 1: to the dating face.
- 16:17Speaker 4: We'll say, do we want to do comments before we.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Got an hour?
- 16:23Speaker 2: But you gotta keep but you gotta know.
- 16:25Speaker 3: But just we said this year ten ten dozen bouquets
- 16:28Speaker 3: of flowers will be delivered to my house. Tale and
- 16:30Speaker 3: then goes and like gives them to like old folks
- 16:32Speaker 3: homes and stuff like that before they die.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Very sweet of Hey, yo involved does she go in
- 16:36Speaker 2: the old homes and be like which ones?
- 16:38Speaker 1: Yeah, which ones are which?
- 16:40Speaker 3: John Cena a little bit?
- 16:47Speaker 1: We joke.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Did it?
- 16:53Speaker 3: But the ones that got it, that's a that's a
- 16:55Speaker 3: good joke. You keep that in your back pocket.
- 16:58Speaker 4: But you're eleven hits if I get fly I saw
- 17:03Speaker 4: Zita yesterday.
- 17:04Speaker 2: What was that?
- 17:05Speaker 1: It's not good.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Here's the book. We're sitting next to their bed. Oh ship.
- 17:14Speaker 3: April twentieth hits on the twenty first, you get a
- 17:15Speaker 3: bouquet of flyers. There's no give them all right, but yeah, yeah,
- 17:21Speaker 3: you're you're eleven. It goes back down to one dozen
- 17:23Speaker 3: book half ooh.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I like that reset.
- 17:26Speaker 3: You can only be financially responsible for so long. You're
- 17:29Speaker 3: thirty for thirty anyway onward.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just gonna say I'm in here. I'll come
- 17:34Speaker 2: back and kick off a fun little a fun little
- 17:36Speaker 2: trivia segment. Yes please.
- 17:37Speaker 1: It's from Loan Shark seventen on Instagram. There were rumors
- 17:41Speaker 1: swirling around the rumor mill that Taylor wasn't a pt SIKO.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Hopefully this sets things straight.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Okay, And who is that from? It's from Loan Shark
- 17:49Speaker 2: seven ten. Those are big words. Those are those are
- 17:53Speaker 2: big words.
- 17:54Speaker 3: That is so let me ask this question, what how
- 17:56Speaker 3: do I establish to the people that I'm a PTC.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I think if Loan Shark is listening right now, which
- 18:02Speaker 2: I assume that he is, whether it be on any
- 18:04Speaker 2: of the channels, Apple Spotify, Amazon, Google, YouTube, Galaxy, doncast
- 18:12Speaker 2: sound clap.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Yeah. But Taylor's already kind of said it good. He's
- 18:16Speaker 1: already said a really good tone, like you hear the
- 18:18Speaker 1: the pt sicos out there, hearing the inside jokes. He's
- 18:20Speaker 1: speaking like, we do have some we do have some
- 18:25Speaker 1: we do have some fun trivia here to establish the
- 18:27Speaker 1: PT and and this.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Is a safe space, right like if I get one judge,
- 18:31Speaker 2: oh buddy, yeah, there is no buzzer, yeah, no buzzer yeah,
- 18:34Speaker 2: just a time limit.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:35Speaker 2: What does PT six stand for?
- 18:38Speaker 1: Team six? Ye?
- 18:40Speaker 3: Now, which is established after Seal Team six, which is
- 18:43Speaker 3: one of the Navy seal things that don't exist at
- 18:46Speaker 3: this moment, one of the most dangerous of dangerous so
- 18:49Speaker 3: beIN London past.
- 18:52Speaker 1: There's three answers here and extra credit. There is some
- 18:55Speaker 1: extra credit. Can you spell pt sicico Yeah?
- 19:02Speaker 2: Uh P T yeah, hot start, hot star dash s
- 19:10Speaker 2: I c k O.
- 19:12Speaker 4: That is technically one way to T six.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I see k oh credit credit. Thank you well, wive
- 19:23Speaker 3: studio audience.
- 19:26Speaker 2: What is MT six stand for?
- 19:28Speaker 3: That is Mama Team six That is for the mothers. Oh,
- 19:32Speaker 3: I'm sorry, milk team, which is ridiculous.
- 19:36Speaker 1: That's the hat I'm wearing right, and you're looking at
- 19:39Speaker 1: the answer answer on top of your bwt.
- 19:42Speaker 2: B dot com.
- 19:43Speaker 1: You can go get him there on uh, February second,
- 19:47Speaker 1: February second, the merch shops, the Valentine's say, Milk Team
- 19:50Speaker 1: six merch shops. Can they find that murder?
- 19:51Speaker 2: It will be out bwt B that well, yeah, when
- 19:54Speaker 2: this is going on, so go check it out right now. Okay,
- 19:57Speaker 2: here's a big one.
- 19:58Speaker 1: All right.
- 19:59Speaker 3: But buds training, Okay, budgs training. Buds another Navy Seals reference.
- 20:06Speaker 3: They go through buds before they go through hellwave, before
- 20:08Speaker 3: they are inducted as a Navy Seal. That is breeding
- 20:12Speaker 3: until is a dad status god grading until dad status checked.
- 20:21Speaker 2: I have through buds twice. Yeah, yeah, you have twice.
- 20:26Speaker 2: You've been through buds once? Just once.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a fun training st six. You're talking about
- 20:33Speaker 1: Semen Team six.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Yes, we're talking about that's no longer a heat check.
- 20:40Speaker 4: He's hot.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I don't even think I need a cooismal shock wave.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Yeah he knows that. See, I have my own little
- 20:46Speaker 2: thought process on shotwave.
- 20:47Speaker 3: You share shockwave is from my understanding of watching the
- 20:51Speaker 3: show is that you go and do the things you
- 20:53Speaker 3: need to do. You you exceed a bar, you come downstairs,
- 20:56Speaker 3: and there's the electricity in there for you to hurt.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Am I correct and generally stating what shock wave is
- 21:02Speaker 3: and then.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so context of shockwave? Do you know the
- 21:05Speaker 1: background of shockwave? This is?
- 21:07Speaker 2: This would be full on insane extra credit.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yeah, Like, I guess the only way to answer your
- 21:13Speaker 3: question is with the question is that have you been
- 21:15Speaker 3: the six Flags in Texas?
- 21:19Speaker 6: Yo?
- 21:20Speaker 2: Hey, yo, I didn't even know what to do to
- 21:23Speaker 2: that one. That's crazy. That's crazy. Yeah, so, man, let
- 21:29Speaker 2: me tell you something. Rides, not long loops.
- 21:33Speaker 3: It's now My thought process on shockwave is that you
- 21:38Speaker 3: go and we talk about the scoreboard all the time.
- 21:40Speaker 1: You go home.
- 21:41Speaker 3: You don't want to have a scoreboard. However, there's always
- 21:43Speaker 3: a scoreboard. You go home, long day of work, come back,
- 21:46Speaker 3: hit the chores.
- 21:47Speaker 1: I hit the chores.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Then all of a sudden, wife's not feeling so great.
- 21:50Speaker 3: You go upstairs and hey, honey, you laid back for
- 21:52Speaker 3: the rest of the night. I'm gonna go ahead and take
- 21:54Speaker 3: care of these kids. You play with them, You do
- 21:55Speaker 3: the thing. They're happy, jovial, happy, jumping up and down, dad,
- 21:58Speaker 3: we love you so much. You put them down. There's
- 22:00Speaker 3: no fighting. They don't hear any loud noises downstairs or upstairs.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Put I'm asleep, go to bed.
- 22:05Speaker 2: You walk into the room.
- 22:07Speaker 3: That to me is where there's electricity in the air.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Chock wave is whether or not that electricity strikes.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I do.
- 22:14Speaker 4: I do like that extra element of like he's doing
- 22:18Speaker 4: all these things and like checking things off the list,
- 22:21Speaker 4: and he's creating evidence.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a wife creating evidence. Your your great core
- 22:27Speaker 3: value of bustle.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you're hitting a lot of great responsibilities that
- 22:30Speaker 1: need to be done. Yeah, you're also in that you're
- 22:33Speaker 1: taking care of mama's needs.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah, not that has got some needs because Valentine's Day.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Hey listen, I got needs. And let's be honest, you've
- 22:40Speaker 3: got a couple of Yeah, all right. It isn't a
- 22:43Speaker 3: selfish game, because this is love.
- 22:47Speaker 1: This ain't like you know, heavy breathing.
- 22:49Speaker 2: This is heavy. I will say this.
- 22:52Speaker 4: On Valentine's Day, I could do chocolate, flowers, all that stuff.
- 22:56Speaker 4: But if Jilly Bean came home to a made bed's
- 23:00Speaker 4: just done, bottles cleaned.
- 23:02Speaker 2: D oh, dude, that's.
- 23:06Speaker 1: What's the words of inform are not words, ermation, love languages.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Yeah, acts of service, acts of service.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, dude, big one.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, Now she'll take chocolate and flowers for sure.
- 23:16Speaker 2: But she will will or she got a little sweet tooth,
- 23:20Speaker 2: and she does. She has a huge sweet tooth.
- 23:22Speaker 4: And if you do, uh, Dominos does heart shaped Pepperoni's
- 23:28Speaker 4: just figured that out. Really, Yeah, no free shouts of
- 23:31Speaker 4: Domino Dominos.
- 23:33Speaker 2: We brought that over. No free shouts is brought over.
- 23:35Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Well, anytime you're just shouting out brains like I feel
- 23:39Speaker 1: like it's just ingrained. Don't want to just give anybody
- 23:42Speaker 1: free shout outs. Yeah, there's a new one, very new,
- 23:45Speaker 1: maybe a couple of weeks old, a few weeks old.
- 23:48Speaker 2: This one's hard empty six a PR.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Empty six a p R so a PR. I don't
- 23:57Speaker 3: know what a PR is, but MT six is milk
- 24:00Speaker 3: team six a p R. Is it like I have
- 24:07Speaker 3: to do with pregnancy? No, So we've learned this week.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Maybe as I tell the context of it, you might
- 24:16Speaker 1: start putting, like you might start blocking out pregnant things
- 24:19Speaker 1: that we're thinking. But we've learned on this show that
- 24:24Speaker 1: when we tell stories, we also have dad brain, you know,
- 24:27Speaker 1: what I mean. You you forget a lot of things.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Sometimes you make stuff up. Who knows you're you're remembering
- 24:32Speaker 1: it as well as you can. But we've learned on
- 24:34Speaker 1: the show, our wives are listeners of the show because
- 24:37Speaker 1: we're obviously talking about family dynamics, that we're talking about
- 24:40Speaker 1: family stuff, so they want to, you know, they want
- 24:41Speaker 1: to make sure we're doing everything justice. So we've learned
- 24:45Speaker 1: on the show that we get feedback after pretty much
- 24:49Speaker 1: every episode, depending on if we butcher story. So I
- 24:51Speaker 1: told the story a few weeks ago about when Rue
- 24:54Speaker 1: went to the hospital for that seizure she had.
- 24:56Speaker 2: When I was like, what did I say about about
- 24:58Speaker 2: a year and a half? Eight months? You say she
- 25:00Speaker 2: was eight months?
- 25:00Speaker 1: I did say she was eight months. I was saying
- 25:02Speaker 1: she was like a.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Year and a half.
- 25:04Speaker 3: This is how it happens right now, This is how
- 25:06Speaker 3: can I say something? Yeah, Minor detailed how old she
- 25:09Speaker 3: was child a little put right, and it's like and
- 25:14Speaker 3: also listen, I know this positive show. Yeah, can we
- 25:17Speaker 3: stop with the months after twelve?
- 25:19Speaker 2: I like that? Oh artily, here's why, here's why I
- 25:23Speaker 2: don't mind it.
- 25:24Speaker 1: And I get it too. I get it's like, oh,
- 25:26Speaker 1: they're one year there, you could say a year and
- 25:27Speaker 1: a half. You do halves up until what, well, how
- 25:30Speaker 1: long did you guys go? I went to about nineteen Well,
- 25:31Speaker 1: and you could do year and some change.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I love, yeah change, yeah, but has whatever for yourself?
- 25:38Speaker 2: Nineteen years old?
- 25:39Speaker 1: I'm thinking how many Scarlett six.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Months of detailed month?
- 25:43Speaker 1: I like, uh, I've enjoyed breaking down under two because
- 25:48Speaker 1: I feel like the sixteenth month mark are the fifteen
- 25:50Speaker 1: sixteen mark is when their personalities really start to come alive.
- 25:53Speaker 2: So if I hear somebody like, sure Scarlett is what
- 25:57Speaker 2: six month weeks now, she would be seven months. That's
- 26:00Speaker 2: months old.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but once if you were to tell me thirteen months,
- 26:03Speaker 1: I'm thinking of my head man, they're about to hit
- 26:05Speaker 1: a little spin on when their personality starts coming out
- 26:08Speaker 1: to where you're starting to get a little taste of it.
- 26:10Speaker 1: But when it really comes alive is around that fifteen
- 26:12Speaker 1: to six month market. That's the only reason I don't
- 26:14Speaker 1: mind the details under two years.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I do feel you though. Yeah, to me,
- 26:19Speaker 3: it's get to twelve months after that? Hell was they won?
- 26:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I think I'm going to be that more more so. Yeah,
- 26:28Speaker 4: just because it's an easy quick answer. But if I
- 26:31Speaker 4: were talking, like talking to you on the show, obviously
- 26:34Speaker 4: I would have it broken down by mine.
- 26:35Speaker 2: But how old's the giddo? Oh she's a year and
- 26:37Speaker 2: some chance. Yeah you're in change.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Yeah, he in change like is at the end of
- 26:40Speaker 3: the day, like this person's asked that question for filler.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Some might some might take some kiddles might take fifteen
- 26:46Speaker 2: months to walk.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Yeah that is you know what I mean?
- 26:48Speaker 2: Was that you no, no, no, no, We always training
- 26:51Speaker 2: them early. Rue's probably by.
- 26:53Speaker 1: You as a child, not Rue or Scottie. Rumor has it. No,
- 26:58Speaker 1: Willie boy was walking in nine months? Hey, come on,
- 27:01Speaker 1: rumor has it?
- 27:02Speaker 2: That's early.
- 27:03Speaker 3: That's nice that there's no evidence, but I'll believe that.
- 27:07Speaker 1: It comes from Billy c. It comes from my parents.
- 27:10Speaker 1: You were walking the nine nine months? You got going?
- 27:18Speaker 2: All right?
- 27:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm but a pr after pod report after pod
- 27:24Speaker 1: because s I'm also total story with what.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Would be cream?
- 27:29Speaker 4: Oh god, yeah, Jill has this drink that she was
- 27:31Speaker 4: doing during pregnancy. She had gestational diabetes just through like
- 27:37Speaker 4: some stuff with the placenta.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Pregnant parents giving people game.
- 27:41Speaker 4: Hey if your wife has just stational diabetes too, here's
- 27:44Speaker 4: a little sweet treat, instead of well here we go okay,
- 27:49Speaker 4: instead of saying Chavani sweet creamer with Hollie pop banana cream,
- 27:55Speaker 4: banana cream, thank you. This is why we're Yeah, this
- 27:58Speaker 4: is why we're a team. So I'm saying that I
- 28:00Speaker 4: said that she was using heavy cream, like whipping creamy
- 28:04Speaker 4: with ollipop cream, soad cream soda.
- 28:07Speaker 8: Yeah, it's and it's a different dish. And I got stripped.
- 28:10Speaker 8: I got stripped down when I got home. But truly,
- 28:14Speaker 8: she she's still to this day. Well she'll get pissed
- 28:17Speaker 8: if I get like any type of detail of Srman,
- 28:20Speaker 8: you're making me look like a psychopath, Like you go
- 28:23Speaker 8: back on the show and like dialed this out because
- 28:27Speaker 8: I look like an idiot.
- 28:28Speaker 3: A lot of responsibility being authoritative figure in this world, yeah,
- 28:31Speaker 3: a lot of moms ones right, ones you're obviously married to.
- 28:34Speaker 3: And then mom's all over the place that are watching
- 28:36Speaker 3: learning judging, well she's using heavy cream and cream soda.
- 28:39Speaker 3: I kind of want to do that too. People did
- 28:41Speaker 3: know that she's making a mistake.
- 28:42Speaker 1: We goes by, hey, that's the wrong and now three
- 28:46Speaker 1: times it's a little key kind of sounds.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Nice, Yeah, nice, someone tried it correct.
- 28:51Speaker 5: Somebody was like someone basically write in and be like, hey,
- 28:54Speaker 5: my wife tried it and.
- 28:55Speaker 2: I think she liked it and wasn't quite sure.
- 28:57Speaker 5: And then sherman also messed up the amount of hot
- 28:59Speaker 5: dogs and bears you out on their first date.
- 29:01Speaker 2: It was another awkward dad brain moment.
- 29:03Speaker 3: And that's okay. Dad brain happens all the time. Happens
- 29:05Speaker 3: all the time. Here's here's something for empty six that
- 29:10Speaker 3: just would help me as a PT six guy. Is
- 29:14Speaker 3: I'm telling a story and I'm only got a couple
- 29:16Speaker 3: of minor details wrong that don't necessarily change the trajectory
- 29:20Speaker 3: or the landing spot of the story. Let me keep going,
- 29:22Speaker 3: let me go, let me rip a little bit. You
- 29:24Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, defin and I know I'm wrong,
- 29:27Speaker 3: But then make a nice little joke, be like, he
- 29:28Speaker 3: got it most right, and then I can laugh with you,
- 29:31Speaker 3: and then you can correct me on the thing.
- 29:32Speaker 4: You got to even bigger laugh with the he got something.
- 29:35Speaker 3: But if I'm going down the yellow brick road right
- 29:37Speaker 3: and we're hopping and skipping and we're singing, I'm telling
- 29:39Speaker 3: a nice little fun story, I don't want my vibe
- 29:41Speaker 3: to get checked because I might, you know, dad, brain
- 29:43Speaker 3: might hit me right there.

- 29:54Speaker 3: Yeah maybe I got CT six.

- 30:04Speaker 4: I'll give Jill that at least of like she she
- 30:07Speaker 4: lets the story ride out. She does a good job
- 30:10Speaker 4: of like, oh my god, the APR has.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Become a fun thing.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like the it's like, you know, every every
- 30:16Speaker 1: husband and wife out there, it's it's all the same stuff.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Dad's out there telling a story. He exaggerates a little bit. Yeah,
- 30:21Speaker 1: don't let h you know what's the saying. It was
- 30:23Speaker 1: the saying out there don't have a good story getting
- 30:25Speaker 1: the way of a little bit of exaggeration, right, Yeah, yeah,
- 30:28Speaker 1: but you know wives are out there. It wasn't you
- 30:32Speaker 1: know when we were at Taylor's Halloween party, you know
- 30:34Speaker 1: that was about how old was something charges.
- 30:40Speaker 4: She was was like that was.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Funny if you interject funny, But I it's like know
- 30:49Speaker 3: she was he by the way, she was you know,
- 30:51Speaker 3: six months old, Actually she was five months, doesn't matter.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Yeah right, Hey, I heard your telling the story. Just
- 30:56Speaker 1: you know something small she was she was eight months?
- 30:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I thought she was about to years old.
- 31:00Speaker 4: And the confidence at which you were telling the story,
- 31:03Speaker 4: because Will and Jill they have interactions with each other
- 31:06Speaker 4: similar to you and Jill, but you know, you're really
- 31:09Speaker 4: trying to get to nowhere in that moment, you're confidently
- 31:11Speaker 4: telling that story, and char was a good forty yards
- 31:14Speaker 4: away and overheard it.
- 31:15Speaker 2: It was like, that is really wrong, way wrong.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's hilarious. That is hilarious.

- 36:02Speaker 1: make each day one page. Already, this is proving to
- 36:06Speaker 1: be a very useful tool in our house. Cheers boys,
- 36:09Speaker 1: pt siico out.
- 36:11Speaker 2: That's insane. That's insane.
- 36:13Speaker 3: That's that's when I listen to you while you're reading it.
- 36:16Speaker 3: I'm just like, yeah, I'll never do that. Yeah, But
- 36:18Speaker 3: I love the fact that there's somebody.
- 36:20Speaker 1: There put the way I think about myself doing that
- 36:22Speaker 1: right now, I'm operating like David.
- 36:25Speaker 3: If I thought to myself, yeah, if I actually did that,
- 36:27Speaker 3: like I hit a whole different level.
- 36:29Speaker 2: I would hit full potential. You're driving the rest of
- 36:31Speaker 2: the way home, and you've already done it.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Then you get inside, right, you get inside, and then
- 36:36Speaker 1: the day go.
- 36:37Speaker 2: And God forbid.
- 36:38Speaker 1: You mentioned the idea of doing that to your spouse. Yeah,
- 36:42Speaker 1: you've mentioned that idea to three different people, and then
- 36:44Speaker 1: a month from a month later, they follow age you
- 36:46Speaker 1: do that three binding you're oh shit, I forgot all
- 36:48Speaker 1: about that.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, oh interesting, Yeah, I probably won't do that. Man,
- 36:51Speaker 2: it's been working for us.
- 36:52Speaker 3: I got one a new dad from Donnie Hearing. I've
- 36:55Speaker 3: been a Day one listener and I have held back
- 36:56Speaker 3: from buying any merch because I was not a dad yet.
- 36:59Speaker 3: But a couple of weeks ago, my wife and I
- 37:02Speaker 3: finally got a positive pregnancy test. I don't know if
- 37:05Speaker 3: it's going to be a boy or a girl yet,
- 37:07Speaker 3: but you better believe I'm gonna cop some Papa Team
- 37:09Speaker 3: six gear love the pod, keep them coming, Come on, graduate,
- 37:15Speaker 3: Donnie Hearing. Donnie congratulations, dude, shout out Donnie that hey,
- 37:19Speaker 3: that test comes up. Do you have you guys talked
- 37:22Speaker 3: about the first time you saw a positive pregnancy test
- 37:24Speaker 3: on the show.
- 37:25Speaker 4: We have a show we have Maybe yeah, maybe, I
- 37:28Speaker 4: don't think so. I don't think I've fully gone into
- 37:29Speaker 4: the mind.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Was Jill sending you the text of the pregnancy test
- 37:32Speaker 2: as a prank? Which that was fucked up? Did Shoe
- 37:38Speaker 2: did Joe?
- 37:40Speaker 4: Was Taylor there for the stream room text? I don't
- 37:43Speaker 4: know if he was there that day.
- 37:44Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
- 37:45Speaker 4: Jill sent me she was having like stomach aches, all
- 37:48Speaker 4: the fun stuff, and she was like, I hope I'm
- 37:50Speaker 4: not pregnant, and I'm you know, this is right after
- 37:52Speaker 4: we had Scarlet, and so I'm like, yeah, you know whatever,
- 37:56Speaker 4: and she just sends me a picture of a pregnant
- 38:00Speaker 4: and sea tests and that's all it was, was just
- 38:02Speaker 4: the picture of the pregnancy.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Test with no words under it.
- 38:05Speaker 4: So I see that while we're live on stream for
- 38:08Speaker 4: Thursday night football.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Hopefully it was a good game, right.
- 38:12Speaker 7: A little bit, he stood up so fast and I
- 38:15Speaker 7: start to walk out, and then like you know, forty
- 38:18Speaker 7: five seconds like a minute after, it's uh, you know,
- 38:21Speaker 7: not pregnant woo.
- 38:22Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh my god.
- 38:26Speaker 6: You can do it.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Kind of fun though, kind of fun. It was a
- 38:28Speaker 2: little fun. It was a little fun. What was your
- 38:32Speaker 2: first reaction when you saw the first pregnancy test?
- 38:36Speaker 3: So if you guys have a minute, I know we
- 38:37Speaker 3: all have an hour for the show, but I would
- 38:40Speaker 3: the story win rebel a wand was actually a very
- 38:43Speaker 3: interesting one. So wife and I meet twenty sixteen. I've
- 38:47Speaker 3: already said it gauged in five weeks.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Married in two months. It is a Tuesday, and we're.
- 38:52Speaker 3: About to play the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night football.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Quinn Talon's brother is in town and I come home
- 39:00Speaker 3: to a bag in Tailn's like, I have something to
- 39:02Speaker 3: show you. She's kind of you can tell, She's like,
- 39:03Speaker 3: panic's her, you know you can tell. The bpms are up. Yeah, yeah,
- 39:06Speaker 3: And I'm like, oh, what's what's what's going on? And
- 39:09Speaker 3: She's like, turn around and I turn around. I hear
- 39:11Speaker 3: this bag rustling, and I turned back around and there
- 39:14Speaker 3: are eight pregnancy tests, yeah that are out. Seven of
- 39:18Speaker 3: them say positive. And I'm like, what about that one?
- 39:22Speaker 2: What is this? What is this one?
- 39:24Speaker 1: Right here?
- 39:24Speaker 3: As you goes Quinn took that one because we didn't
- 39:26Speaker 3: know if it was broken. Fun fact about pregnancy tests.
- 39:29Speaker 3: If you if you're a male and you pan a
- 39:31Speaker 3: pensity test and it's positive, that is a sign of
- 39:34Speaker 3: tiesticular cancer. So quiets, yes, very kind of like, hey,
- 39:38Speaker 3: I guess we're gonna kind of find out if we
- 39:41Speaker 3: have anything going on. So Tayling, we just met, right,
- 39:45Speaker 3: she is twenty two at the time, maybe just turned
- 39:48Speaker 3: twenty three, and we barely know each other. I know
- 39:52Speaker 3: I'm gonna know that the show of us in my life,
- 39:53Speaker 3: I always make the joke to Tail like I feel
- 39:55Speaker 3: like you weren't fully investing in this relationship. Yeah, year
- 39:57Speaker 3: and a half and they're like, all right, yeah, maybe
- 39:58Speaker 3: I will maryor the stuff forever get the Yeah, I
- 40:01Speaker 3: guess we'll do it. And uh so I go. And
- 40:04Speaker 3: I really hope that one's okay with me telling the story,
- 40:06Speaker 3: but she's she's nervous. I go right into super positive mode, like, hey,
- 40:11Speaker 3: there's never a convenient time to like, hey, let's have children,
- 40:14Speaker 3: Like we all have dreams, aspirations, what we want. Yeah,
- 40:18Speaker 3: and I'm so I'm super positive. Internally, I'm freaking out
- 40:21Speaker 3: so we go to the doctor. We go in there,
- 40:24Speaker 3: we get the thing done, and we put it up.
- 40:26Speaker 3: We did a little and we see like a little
- 40:28Speaker 3: sack and a tiny little flick there, and I'm like
- 40:31Speaker 3: a ship that's a heartbeat, and yeah, yeah, it's a heartbeat.
- 40:35Speaker 1: This is real. And I'm like, hey, so what to do?
- 40:39Speaker 3: Like, yeah, you're pregnant. It says like a four to
- 40:41Speaker 3: six weeks or whatever. I'm probably messing that up right now.
- 40:43Speaker 4: And the ap that does sound right for being able
- 40:47Speaker 4: to see heartbeats six weeks because it is just this
- 40:49Speaker 4: little tiny flick.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Take yes, And I'm like, hey, it's gonna be fine.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Blah blah blah blah.
- 40:54Speaker 3: And then I'm like, I gotta go to the hotel
- 40:56Speaker 3: now because we have a game the next day. So
- 40:58Speaker 3: this is actually a Wednesday, not a Thursday.
- 41:00Speaker 1: I go to the game. We play.
- 41:03Speaker 3: I think that was like the game that Derek had
- 41:05Speaker 3: nine yard run and like two hundred and thirty eight
- 41:07Speaker 3: yards rushing.
- 41:08Speaker 1: It was like, hell of it?
- 41:09Speaker 2: So you played out of your mind?
- 41:11Speaker 1: Uh no, no, this is uh this is the night
- 41:14Speaker 1: nine yard run I was on the Okay, so this is.
- 41:19Speaker 2: What we beat the Jacks.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Now, during the games, I would always like, uh, every
- 41:26Speaker 3: time I would run out, the first thing I would
- 41:27Speaker 3: do is like look for Tailor. I'd see her smile away,
- 41:30Speaker 3: but a little kiss. And then every series after I finished,
- 41:32Speaker 3: I'd go looking and find her, see her, just to
- 41:35Speaker 3: see her sit down and go over the playbook stuff
- 41:38Speaker 3: like that. Well, during the game, she's like, uh, quiet
- 41:42Speaker 3: and she's like not really like you just tell She
- 41:45Speaker 3: just kind of like seems like depress.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Like, man, she's really taking this thing hard, it seems like.
- 41:49Speaker 3: And after the game we win, I go to give
- 41:51Speaker 3: her a hug, and the Titans at the slot is
- 41:54Speaker 3: where they had it, and it was all like this
- 41:55Speaker 3: gated in area with.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Like you'll look really see.
- 41:58Speaker 3: But I get in and I see Tailor and I
- 42:00Speaker 3: give her a big hug and she goes, hey, don't
- 42:02Speaker 3: say anything, but I was bleeding during the game and
- 42:04Speaker 3: I think I lost a baby. And I'm like, like,
- 42:07Speaker 3: even right now to feel yourself tear up a little
- 42:10Speaker 3: bit because you're like so scared in that moment, but
- 42:12Speaker 3: you're also like like, hey, this is like a new
- 42:15Speaker 3: journey and new experience, like I have a shot at
- 42:18Speaker 3: being a great dad here, Like you think of all
- 42:19Speaker 3: the opportunity as opposed to the scared, or at least
- 42:22Speaker 3: you try to. So we go and a couple of
- 42:25Speaker 3: days later we go and get a test or we
- 42:27Speaker 3: go to the ultrasound again and they go, yeah, you're
- 42:30Speaker 3: the heart rate is not there.
- 42:32Speaker 1: We don't see a heart rate.
- 42:33Speaker 3: We don't and that little stack was there, and I
- 42:34Speaker 3: didn't see a flick, and I'm thinking, oh my god,
- 42:37Speaker 3: we actually we actually lost this baby. And so they
- 42:41Speaker 3: tell us, hey, you seems like it's like a chemical pregnancy.
- 42:45Speaker 3: We're gonna give it a couple of weeks and if
- 42:48Speaker 3: you got if you're still reading at these higher levels,
- 42:50Speaker 3: whatever those levels are, then we're gonna have to do
- 42:53Speaker 3: like a quickly. It's like a scope where you kind
- 42:55Speaker 3: of take out the egg and everything and you remove it.
- 42:58Speaker 3: So a couple of weeks go by and and I jokingly,
- 43:00Speaker 3: I'm like, well, I joke with Tailing about this. I'm
- 43:03Speaker 3: like kind of being a bee during these last two weeks,
- 43:05Speaker 3: like emotional, really emotional, And.
- 43:08Speaker 2: I'm like, what's going on with.
- 43:11Speaker 1: That's what's going on?
- 43:12Speaker 2: When emotional? Right now? You were scared, Now you're not scared.
- 43:16Speaker 2: The football he's I like in my brain, I'm like,
- 43:21Speaker 2: I'm in the middle of the football season.
- 43:23Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm like, yeah, I'm like, I go home.
- 43:25Speaker 3: I handled it. I like, I'm with her, We're feeling
- 43:28Speaker 3: the emotions together. But then I go to sleep. I
- 43:29Speaker 3: wake up at five thirty whatever it is, and I
- 43:31Speaker 3: go right to the facility and it's like that's now
- 43:33Speaker 3: has to go away for these next you know, twelve hours.
- 43:37Speaker 3: So a couple of weeks go by and uh, tailing's
- 43:40Speaker 3: on ourself. Talings are very even kill from emotional standpoint,
- 43:43Speaker 3: very emotionally mature woman.
- 43:45Speaker 2: And we go back and I'm like, hey, doc, sums up.
- 43:48Speaker 2: We like, come back and check.
- 43:49Speaker 3: We do the ultrasound, and buddy, that little sac is
- 43:53Speaker 3: still there, but that flick is back. And they're like,
- 43:58Speaker 3: so is is what's going on? And I'm thinking to myself,
- 44:00Speaker 3: I'm just seeing something that is like hieroglyphics to me.
- 44:03Speaker 1: The ultra sound.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Girls like I can't say anything. The doctor's gonna come in.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Comes in and Doctor's like, yeah, you guys are pregnant.
- 44:08Speaker 3: And I don't know what happened a couple of weeks ago,
- 44:10Speaker 3: but you're you yet you're having kids reading at nine
- 44:12Speaker 3: weeks right now or whatever the number was at the time.
- 44:14Speaker 3: What And it was the craziest thing in the world.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Taylor says all the time that when she was pregnant
- 44:20Speaker 3: she was so scared about what was going on that
- 44:24Speaker 3: like when who's our oldest daughter had to like remove
- 44:27Speaker 3: herself for a second for tailing to be like, you
- 44:29Speaker 3: know what, it would actually been kind of great just
- 44:31Speaker 3: to come back. So that was it was nuts. Man,
- 44:36Speaker 3: was like three or four week emotional period. It was
- 44:38Speaker 3: just nuts about thinking you have a kid and you're like, Okay,
- 44:41Speaker 3: I guess I'm not having a kid, but then do
- 44:43Speaker 3: we have kids eventually? And it's like, no, by the way,
- 44:44Speaker 3: you're having a kid, And it was it was a
- 44:47Speaker 3: crazy crazy dude, that's hard.
- 44:49Speaker 2: The bean was boring.
- 44:50Speaker 1: The bean.
- 44:50Speaker 2: We just called it the bean over and over. Yeah, yeah, dude,
- 44:54Speaker 2: it was awesome. It is like so.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Scary finding out you're gonna be a kid for the
- 44:58Speaker 3: first time or you're gonna have a kid for the
- 45:00Speaker 3: first time.
- 45:01Speaker 2: But yeah, it's nuts.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Do you remember the first day you brought back by
- 45:04Speaker 1: home your kid?
- 45:05Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, and you just sit there and they're like,
- 45:08Speaker 3: you have all the nurses helping you with everything, and
- 45:10Speaker 3: then you get in the car. You slap them in
- 45:12Speaker 3: the cars and you're.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Like that carr And then you get in the car
- 45:16Speaker 1: and kind of drive off and you're like, all right,
- 45:18Speaker 1: I guess we're doing this.
- 45:19Speaker 2: I guess we're parents now. Itllegal. It feels illegal. You're
- 45:23Speaker 2: just like a car seat on the floor.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Ours is like in the kitchen to the car seat
- 45:27Speaker 1: on floor when we came inside with like, hey, waffle,
- 45:30Speaker 1: here's here's here's rue, kind of just look at it
- 45:32Speaker 1: for a little bit and you're like, it's ours.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Do I feed it now?
- 45:37Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 45:37Speaker 2: Like it's not only talking a whole lot. What's the
- 45:40Speaker 2: getting Let's start getting the sounds going.
- 45:42Speaker 4: I was I was overly worried about introing the dogs
- 45:46Speaker 4: to Scarlet because I had read something that if you
- 45:49Speaker 4: let the dogs find the baby, and it's like them
- 45:54Speaker 4: finding and kind of showing you the baby, it's like
- 45:56Speaker 4: it's their idea and it kind of helps with the intro.
- 46:00Speaker 4: And I'm like, all right, Jill, when we get to
- 46:01Speaker 4: the house, like I'll I'll get out, I'll take the
- 46:04Speaker 4: dogs outside, you.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Sneak Scarlet in, and then we'll do that, and.
- 46:07Speaker 4: After like two minutes of trying to do that, Jill
- 46:09Speaker 4: was like, Hey, I don't give a ship about the dogs.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Like, I'll get the dogs outside. You go, you go in,
- 46:15Speaker 1: put scarlet somewhere in the corner. You sit on the couch.
- 46:18Speaker 1: I'll come in, we'll kick up the feet, we'll throw
- 46:19Speaker 1: on Netflix.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Well, what is that? Good boy?
- 46:29Speaker 4: Yeah, the things that I was worried about, you know
- 46:33Speaker 4: how many ever hours that was in the fatherhood. But
- 46:37Speaker 4: and then with our pregnancy test story, Jill got a
- 46:42Speaker 4: dad's I don't know, I still don't know who gave
- 46:44Speaker 4: her the sweater from up here, but she got a
- 46:47Speaker 4: sweater from up here that said dad on it, laid
- 46:51Speaker 4: it on our kitchen counter, and similar to Taylan how
- 46:54Speaker 4: she was like, oh, this one pregnancy test says I'm pregnant,
- 46:57Speaker 4: but let me take nine more. And so there was
- 46:59Speaker 4: like twelve pregnancy tests on the sweater.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Yeah, And.
- 47:04Speaker 4: I came home and she just had like the most
- 47:06Speaker 4: awkward smile ever and was just like standing there.
- 47:10Speaker 2: And I'm like, what's going on here? And see the
- 47:12Speaker 2: kitchen counter.
- 47:13Speaker 4: And the reason she never posted the video was I
- 47:16Speaker 4: jokingly told Jill we had just started trying, and I
- 47:19Speaker 4: jokingly told her we're going to be that couple, that
- 47:23Speaker 4: it's going to be the very first time, Like I
- 47:25Speaker 4: just I have one of those feelings. It ended up
- 47:28Speaker 4: being the very first try. And so when I see
- 47:30Speaker 4: all these pregnancy tests, I scream out, I.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Fucking told you. I told you that's crazy.
- 47:38Speaker 4: And it like is not a cute reaction at all.
- 47:41Speaker 4: So we never posted it, but I was stoked.
- 47:43Speaker 1: Yeah, Rue was a very first try. And then Scotty,
- 47:46Speaker 1: I've obviously talked about the IVF stuff.
- 47:48Speaker 3: Yeah, buddy, but we just talked about real quick. The
- 47:51Speaker 3: first try for Will the state that Will comm I
- 47:53Speaker 3: saw Will Combs of.
- 47:54Speaker 1: The night that Rue was conceived, and I'm glad you
- 47:57Speaker 1: stamped me on that because Charles like a honeymoon. I'm like, Sowe,
- 48:00Speaker 1: you know what I'm telling.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Dude, Wait was she wedding night? I mean we I
- 48:04Speaker 2: somehow made it happen.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Yeah, but yeah, that little guy was ready to work.
- 48:09Speaker 2: They're doing they're doing to send off. It was bubbles sparklers.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Will like, Charles looks outstanding the whole night. She's been
- 48:19Speaker 2: dancing and drinking, have fun.
- 48:21Speaker 1: She looks like a queen. Princess.
- 48:24Speaker 3: That is just like gliding across the floor with this fus.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Like my boy had something going on, like hey, hey,
- 48:34Speaker 2: what is that? They put a healing front of me.
- 48:39Speaker 2: You'll walk on? Yeah, fell will Good tell you here
- 48:44Speaker 2: you Good's has never been told.
- 48:50Speaker 3: I look at you staying doing nothing night seven, eight
- 48:54Speaker 3: weeks twelve whatever it was.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Later he like got a kid.
- 48:56Speaker 2: I'm I thinking, oh my god, ain't no way. Was
- 49:02Speaker 2: what I can remember.
- 49:03Speaker 1: I remember being in the little sweet or whatever, and
- 49:05Speaker 1: I was like, you gotta get you gotta help get
- 49:07Speaker 1: me undressed.
- 49:09Speaker 2: We made it happen. Will's inevitable made it happen. He's
- 49:12Speaker 2: inevitable was inevitable for sure.
- 49:16Speaker 1: You know. I was like, let's just go to bed.
- 49:17Speaker 2: We can concentrate. Yes, oh my god, that's incredible. I
- 49:27Speaker 2: have starfishing a couple of buns. You alive. I love you, honey,

- 49:53Speaker 2: of pizza.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Tidn't change your name, oh gallaghery yeah. And it wasn't
- 50:00Speaker 1: like when we got married.
- 50:01Speaker 3: I was like, you gotta change the lawns like, oh,
- 50:02Speaker 3: I'm absolutely gonna change the one. But because she's Canadian, right.
- 50:05Speaker 1: There's probably is there just like such a twenty sixteen
- 50:08Speaker 1: so like forty five is in who is now forty
- 50:11Speaker 1: seven and he's doing all this stuff with immigration, so
- 50:13Speaker 1: like the immigrations of us very difficult to do anything.
- 50:15Speaker 2: We're like, hey, we'll wait till it calms down. Now
- 50:17Speaker 2: it's been almost ten years.
- 50:18Speaker 3: And she to her and I've got it. Well, it
- 50:21Speaker 3: was like kind of funny if you just keep it now, like, hey,

- 57:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Absolutely, So my crack a Cold one.
- 57:27Speaker 3: Is just a big dad win for me. That I
- 57:28Speaker 3: was like, you know what, maybe I'm doing this right
- 57:30Speaker 3: as a father. Maybe I'm actually figuring it out. So
- 57:33Speaker 3: I think it was Monday or Tuesdays were like maybe
- 57:36Speaker 3: maybe it was Wednesday, who knows.
- 57:38Speaker 1: Anyway, it was like three four days into having no
- 57:41Speaker 1: power generators running.
- 57:42Speaker 2: Every night the.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Lights dim and you're like, is this the end of time?
- 57:46Speaker 6: We?
- 57:46Speaker 3: Is it done now for us? So the kid's been
- 57:48Speaker 3: staying up a lot later and they've been getting up
- 57:50Speaker 3: earlier because of it. There's been a lot of like
- 57:53Speaker 3: less sleep nights to where emotionally both my children are
- 57:56Speaker 3: having a more difficult time understandably so stir crazy in
- 58:00Speaker 3: the house crazy my five year old in particular, she
- 58:03Speaker 3: is like five year olds to me are as such
- 58:06Speaker 3: a unique phase to where they're really coming out of
- 58:08Speaker 3: the toddler stage and they're getting into like the kids stage,
- 58:12Speaker 3: kids stage where they understand the idea of independence, but
- 58:16Speaker 3: they're still very dependent on parents, but they're finding the
- 58:18Speaker 3: envelope of like where can I kind of find more
- 58:21Speaker 3: of like me, I do this thing? And my kids
- 58:24Speaker 3: were graced with the decision for a dessert. It was
- 58:27Speaker 3: going to be my wife Can's peaches, So it'll be
- 58:30Speaker 3: warm peaches and vanilla ice cream or a popsicle. Right now,
- 58:37Speaker 3: we're all sitting here and you're if you're listening on
- 58:39Speaker 3: Spotify or wherever you're at right now. You're clearly thinking
- 58:42Speaker 3: to yourself, warm peaches and vanilla ice cream. Yeah, the
- 58:45Speaker 3: move right now. Five year olds don't think that way.
- 58:48Speaker 3: Five year olds have been talking about pop school since
- 58:51Speaker 3: morning breakfast.
- 58:52Speaker 2: Hit can I get a popsicle?
- 58:53Speaker 1: Too early?
- 58:54Speaker 2: For a pop scle.
- 58:56Speaker 1: We're not doing that.
- 58:57Speaker 3: So they are given the decision. I have an eight
- 58:59Speaker 3: year old, and then there's a neighbor girl, Mackenzie. She's
- 59:01Speaker 3: staying at her house as well as along with her parents.
- 59:03Speaker 2: She's ten.
- 59:04Speaker 3: These kids identify, understand, and execute. They say, I'll wait
- 59:09Speaker 3: a little bit longer, but I want the peaches and
- 59:12Speaker 3: I want the vanilla. That's that's what I want. I'm
- 59:14Speaker 3: thinking to myself, good move. Five year old's over here
- 59:18Speaker 3: really having a hard time, ends up settling for the
- 59:20Speaker 3: pop school, gets the pop school. Maybe three licks in
- 59:24Speaker 3: and here comes the peaches in the vanilla on the screen,
- 59:27Speaker 3: choking on the warmer. She decides she's made the wrong decision.
- 59:30Speaker 3: She wants to take it back in our household. You
- 59:33Speaker 3: make a decision. Whether you're happy with the decision, you
- 59:35Speaker 3: may or not. You gotta stick with your decision going
- 59:38Speaker 3: there's no going back, and like next time, now, you've learned, Hey,
- 59:43Speaker 3: I'm gonna make the correct decision for myself.
- 59:45Speaker 2: Back a little bit and identifying.
- 59:47Speaker 3: She doesn't take coldly to that. She starts getting the mad.
- 59:49Speaker 3: She starts having a little bit of a temper tantrum.
- 59:51Speaker 3: All good five year olds do it. We all know
- 59:52Speaker 3: anybody who's listening with a five year old and storms upstairs,
- 59:56Speaker 3: storms upstairs. We say, hey, let's let let's let her
- 59:58Speaker 3: sit there, sit with her emotions for a little bit.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: She lets out the every once in a while loud scream, Hey,
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: just to let you know I'm still mad, screams and
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: as a daddy, sit there and kind of like tails
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: like I should go up there. I was like, let
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: me go, I'm gonna go all handle this. You've been cooking,
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: you just clean, Like, let me do this.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Boom check. That is a preshock wave. Move by the way,
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: that is, and that's.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: At one pm.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: All right, I'll get the light.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: But I'm just letting you know, like you put work
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: in for these types of things. Yeah, I walk upstairs.
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: My daughter wants nothing to do with me. She's like,
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: where's mom my mom sitting? That daddy came up on
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: his own. I wanted to talk to you, but this
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: do you want to you want to come sit over here? No?
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Do you want me to sit over there? No? Do
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: you want me to stay in the room?
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: No.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: I am at a dead end. To the corner of
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: my eye, I see two small, little stuffed animals. I
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: think she might not want to talk to me. She
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: might want to talk to them.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: I get these little stuff I get these little stuffies out.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, hey, you did puppet therapy. Puppet therapy,
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: take it through it? Why are you sad?
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: My mom? She said, I can, and then I couldn't
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: even did I get it? Well, I can't understand you
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: when you talk like that.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Maybe I can help you for you do We started
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: breaking it down. I got too. She had a signed
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: way through done like this one. Uh huh. She switches
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: it out with another one. You got a different voice?
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: Hy, Yeah, we do it.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, I feel you.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: We're gonna get that figured out for you. Ends up.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: This is the conclusion of the story. No, we only
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: have an hour.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Yeah, we go downstairs.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: WILLI apologizes to her mother and says, I'm sorry for
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: the way I acted, but next time I'm gonna I'm
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: gonna choose peaches and cream, and I hope that I
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: can have good behavior and do my chores so I
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: can earn peaches and cream.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: Let's go, buddy, thank you.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: That is my crack cold one.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: Hey, how hard was she fighting that smile when you
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: broke those characters out to.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: No, she's good with the staying mad.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: She's oh, really in there and then she sees it
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: and she's like, look at me, and then all of
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: a sudden, I kind of vanished and she's just talking
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: to them.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: If I butt it, She's like that. So you think.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Taylor and Taylor in that situation, he's dad.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: It's not. It's not the funny tailor lawan all the time, like, no,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: that's dead, Like I am pissed off.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, I see you're trying to make me lafe.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: You look dumb, and as a dad, a lot of
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: times you have to be the guy that is like
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: comes in and puts your foot down a little bit,
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: like when we go out of town tailor and be
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: like yeah, kids, they had to get on the kids
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: a little bit.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: I didn't like it, so I talked to him for
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: an hour. I'm like, go to bed, like.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: What is bedtime, Like, I'll play all day long bedtime hends. Buddy,
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: we understand the operation. Your night has fallen.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: You see it.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: I've read the book. It's time to sleep. I can't sleep.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: Here's the best way to sleep. Close your eyes, breathe
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: through your nose, out through your mouth.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Does we don't work through it with them.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: It's like, sweetie, all the issues you're having in your head,
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: if you talk about it, like we'll talk about in
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: the morning, and so you make sure and bring them
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: up in the morning, you learn to yourself. I can
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: go to sleep and then in the morning I can
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: figure out all these issues. Yeah, right, that way, you're
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: not causing nighttime anxiety. We feel you have to talk about.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: What if you don't have some talk about it now
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: you're twenty three years old, it's like boom, well right,
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: all right.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I'll sit there listen because I'm a sucker for like
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: crawling in bed and just laying there because I.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: Like Rubberru's back. Like I'm like, I'm the closer, no
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: matter what, I'm the closer. I'll either be doing Ruth's
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: bedtime or mom does bedtime and then she comes out. Dad,
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: you're up.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I go up because she knows she gets a little
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: she gets a little backscratch from Dad. But I'm sure
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: that'll change whenever they get older.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: And you lay it on the law.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: It's like the other night, all the stir craziness from
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: being locked in the house. It's like Rue comes down,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Charles's doing Scotti's bedtime, and the whole thought before Charlo
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: took Scotti up to do bedtime, and you go, you
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: help that head downstairs, clean the kitchen, clean up the stuff,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: tidy everything up, and then you know, Rue gets to
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: stay up a little bit longer and then we go
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: up and do Ruth's bedtime. But she's kind of attached
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: to like following Charlie around. Yeah, and so she goes up.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: And then whenever Rue comes downstairs, she just gets on
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: the couch and I'm like doing the dishes and everything,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: and Rue just starts whining. She's just like, m you know,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: kind of just like won your attention. I kind of
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: want you to ask ye. But it's the point of
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: the day to where there's so many things going on,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: like between the power outage, the internet.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: The next day we learned that there was like a
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: slight gas leak. But even being in the new house,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: like all the delivery shipping stuff just gets derailed. So
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: you're learning through the day, like all the things that
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: need to get done in the house. Everything's kind of
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: weighing on you. When you're there at the end of
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: the day and you're thinking, all right, we're finally getting
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: the bedtime.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Rue comes down.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: She starts doing the whining thing, and I'm just doing
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: the dish. I'm just thinking, like, the whining stuff just.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: It drives you. It drives you, drives me a little crazy, buddy.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: It's the worst. And it's okay to say, yeah, it's awful.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: And she's just on the couch, she's whining. I'm like, hey, Rue,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I've told you we ain't doing this wining stuff. If
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: you want, you need, you need, you need to talk
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to that and let me know what you want. And
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: then I kind of take whatever it is. I go
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: back to the pantry to put something away. She's now
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: gone from the couch. She went upstairs, so I fill
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: the milk up, get ready, you know, prep to go
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: upstairs and bedtime. I walk into Scotti's room. Scotti is
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: on mom's lap. Rue is also sitting in the with
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: them both, and she's like curled up on mom.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Now walk in. I'm like, hey, sweetheart, let's let's go.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Let's go hit your bedtime.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: And she's just kind of sitting there looking at me,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: and I'm staring. I look at Charles and I look
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: back down the room and I'm like, what's going on?
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: And Charles looks at her. She's like, go ahead. She's
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: like that that was mean to me. She said you
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: were meaning to her down there, and I kinda I
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: kind of smile because I'm thinking it's it's kind of funny.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I go in there and I'm staring to both of them,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: and then was like that that was mean to me.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: And I'm like, here we go.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I go and sit down on the little poof go there,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: hit my thighs.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: I sit down. I said, sweetheart, I'm sorry for being
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: mean to you, but hard butt.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: I hit the butt, all right? There run the apology
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: with the butt. Yeah, but that it tells you all
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: the time. I don't like to respond to whining. So
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: when you came downstairs, because mom, I look over at
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Chart and I say, because Mom, what happened was I
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: was doing rude? Just came now I'm telling on room
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: R just comes downstairs, doesn't say a word to me.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: She just gets on the couch and she just starts
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: moaning and whining. So I'm like, hey, I'm not doing
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: this whining stuff, like I'm trying to justify all my
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: decisions with my wife, because she's gonna ask, so, what
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: happened when you basically get down in front of it.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I was like, so, rue, sweetheart, when you just come
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: downstairs and don't say anything to Deadad and you just whine,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Deadad starts feeling emotions inside.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I start feeling some bigger emotions than myself.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: So I just say, hey, we don't do the whining,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: and I'm not paying any mine because I need you
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: to communicate with me when you feel that.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: I need you.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Deada needs you to use your strong voice. She's kind
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: of sitting there looking at me, and we kind of
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: just paused. I look at your and I'm kind of
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: like smiling because I realized, like I'm telling her that
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: it does big emotions too, but that that feels stuff too,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: and this is a two way.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: Street, sweetheart.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: And I'm like, you want to come get dead A
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: hug And she's like yeah, so we give a hug,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: we do bad time and uh de escalate the situation.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: But the whole coming down and the whining stuff drives
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: me nuts. Bro yea sweet. You got to use a
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: strong voice. We can't stop doing the whining.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Yeah, the whinding thing to me is just a full stop.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: You're they We're not doing that.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: If you find this house like, if you have an
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: emotion like we I always tell my kids, like, we
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: communicate in this family. So if you feel that, you're
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: okay to feel any emotion you want. Yeah, be mad,
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: you can be happy, you can be everything in between,
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: any variety of that emotion. But if you don't say
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: how you feel, no one can help you.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Yeah, so just speak.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: Just beat the sixers vent. Yeah, talking to me. That's
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: a good note. And I loved the game.
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: I wrote it down the if you can't talk about
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: it that night, make sure you bring it up in
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: the morning. I like that because it probably makes it
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: feel very important to them that it's like, hey.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: That has remembered. He's bringing it back up.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: Sometimes you don't, though, and that's that's probably you gotta
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: go to the back issues. But yeah, you have a
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: cracker cool one.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: I do have a crack a Cold one, and then
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: we got get into voicemails because we got to keep
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: it under and out.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: I know, time is flying. Yeah, you know what that means.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Where are we at right now? Like thirty minutes? Maybe?
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: Like fifteen?
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, you have thirty fifteen give or take. But
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: you know what this means, all this fun and excitement.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: What this can't be the only time? Yeah, I know.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: I was thinking that too.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I was like, no one should get through this. There's
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: a couple things I just want to ask you. But yeah,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: and we'll get there. We'll get there. But no matter what,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I think, we all know the magic, that's the shockwave
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: that's happening.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, they.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: Say four times sake, I'll skip my crack a Cold one.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: I'll just dive into voicemails because I know we have
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: some voicemails directed for Taylor, Okay, so I want to
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: make sure that we give some good time.
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: Sure, and they're technically not directed at Taylor. They are
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: just three open voicemails. So if you would like to
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: cut down on voicemails, there are none directed at him.
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: So run the show as you would like, can I
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: I know.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: That I just kind of got to invite back and
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: I don't want to ruin it.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Yeah yah, yeah, he really bad, is potty breast. And
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: you can talk about your crack of cold one.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Okay, crack a cold one.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: Okay, So I'll I'll segue crack a cold one into
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: dad loss, because I actually had a really big dad loss,
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: like a big one.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Scarlet had her first booboo and it was on dead
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: A's watch. Hey, and that is a tough pill to swallow.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: Bro and dude, it was really really bad because Jill
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: saw me on my phone five minutes before said boo
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: boo happened, and I was not on my phone when booby,
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: Like I will, dude, I cannot wait to get up
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: to heaven and say that I was not on my phone,
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: like I will, I will die, I will go to
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: the grave.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: I was not on my phone.
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: And I'm talking out him right now to Jill as
- 1:09:50Speaker 7: Scarlet's on her shoulder. I'm going, honey, I was watching
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: the whole time, I can tell you. And she's like,
- 1:09:58Speaker 7: check check your tone, check your tone, and I literally.
- 1:10:01Speaker 6: Go, I go.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I was watching the whole time. I was not on
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: my phone.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: It starts.
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: I started squeam scream whispering, dude, because I was so debiant.
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: I was like, I swear to god, I was on
- 1:10:15Speaker 7: my phone and uh, Scarlet. Basically what happened is she
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: was She's propping herself up very very well. She's arching
- 1:10:23Speaker 7: her back. She can like kind of one hand a
- 1:10:26Speaker 7: little bit and like get this hand going on a toy.
- 1:10:29Speaker 7: And so I'm very loosely holding her top like the
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: back of her sweater, and I thought that I had
- 1:10:36Speaker 7: her tight, and this arm completely gives out and she
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: just nose dives into a hard toy and it bro
- 1:10:46Speaker 7: As soon as she did it.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: There was a.
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: Noise and like Mom instincts she had her back turned
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: and was in the kitchen what what happened? And I'm
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: already picked up Scarlet, and Scarlet is going into the
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: biggest It felt like dragon ball Z, where like Goku
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: like charges up his thing like Charlie was. And then
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: it finally just came out. As soon as Mom was
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: like walking up, I'm like, oh my god, it was
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: you just doing.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: What time it was gonna be too since I saw
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: you on the phone not too long ago.
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Jill. Jill thought I was on my phone.
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: I was selling them I will go to my grave.
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: I was not on my phone. I was watching and
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: I got a little hot with Jill and not on
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: my phone. And anyways, a dad hacked to come out
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: of that. If your kid is going to daycare the
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: next day, make sure to tell the daycare worker about
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: said boo boo so they don't think if they don't
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: see the booboo when you come in, they don't go,
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: oh my gosh, did that happen on our watch? And
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: then they're sitting there the whole day freaking out of
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: how do we tell mister and missus young that you know,
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: lump on, yeah, this happened on our watch. So I
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: had to very embarrassingly be like, hey, remember when you
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: all d md us that she needs wipers or wipes
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: and diapers today?
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: Forgot about those.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: And slash guess why she had her first movie last
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: night on dad's watch And it's right here and right there.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: They were like, thank you very much for letting us know.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Blah blah blah. I'm I'm kind of in the doghouse
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: right now. It's okay, it's okay.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: It reminds me when I told this story, but when
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: because I got to tell it after the fact. But
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: when Charle was out of town and Scotty fell off
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: the first step and it was remember the final two minutes.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Yeah, like maybe missoo Kansas, I forgot and when it happened,
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: I like, God, yeah, yeah, okay, kind of yeah.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: She fell earlier when I'm on FaceTime with you, and
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: then the next week I'm like telling the story on
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: four the Dads.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: Oh my god, I was watching football.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: And you just feel, God, you just feel so shooty
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: because then when they're acting up that way, like having
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: that dragon ball z kind of compulsion.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: Just charging up.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: The biggest crime, know where to put it? So fell
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: was yesterday because Taylor called checked in when he saw that,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: uh the gas leak, that the slight gas leak and
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: shot out Piedmont. They got over, no free shots of Piedmont,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: but they got uh they got over pretty quickly and
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: fixed everything.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: But we were like, I don't know what was happening.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: We were kind of checking the power out of situation
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: and come to find out, our service is not transferred over.
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: Power is still power was still out no matter what
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: he at and t no, no, not the talk about
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: power and yes, we're still at the old house.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: We didn't get it, we didn't get transferred over, so
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: it's still under the builder's name.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: I forgot how it came up. But again I forget
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: how it came up.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: But the ball's basically sitting in my hands, because there's texts,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: there's exchanges that I was the one responsible for transferring
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: the power over from the old house to the new house,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: which is the only place you don't ever want to be. Yeah,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: and so I'm calling ANYS not about power out. It
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: is probably like, hey, can I need to transfer service over.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: The problem was is I couldn't find the account information
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: and all our all of our information like billing and
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: all that with ANYS because it was connected to like
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: my logging and password is connected to my old EG
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: that just stopped working all of a sudden, like a
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: couple of years ago.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: So I'm trying to find it. I'm like, son of
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: a bitch. I was like, I can't figure this out.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: And Charles like, so you said that you were going
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: to handle the electric Because Charles trying to look through
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: her stuff figuring out like cool different parts of moving houses,
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: like who had what responsibility?
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: Oh no, and I'm like, yeah, yeah, that one. It's
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: solely on me.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: I said I was going to do it on like
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: December twenty second, just you know, probably figured out like, oh,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: I can't find the account information. I'll try and find
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: it later than fleading the brain Dad brains kicked the
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: game down the six and I just get lucky eventually,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: probably my third try logging into NES through my old email,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: like finally getting the password right and I'm like, hey,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: got on the phone.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: Lady was awesome. They fixed and they get everything transferred over.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Like the old house is actually getting shut down today,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: the new one it's getting transferred over today. That was
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: a moment too where I'm like, fuck, I won't because
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: I feel like Charles feeling that. I'm feeling it again.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: It's a late latter part of the day where just
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: all of the obstacles that have just been coming through
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: all the yeah, the five days of the power outage
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: and everything else going on with the house, and again
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: kids have just been in the house. School has been
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: canceled all week long, like you swim at any lesson,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: they're all canceled, the delivery stuff derailed, and I'm just
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I feel in charge, and I'm just thinking to myself,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: oh god, that was that was that was like a
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: that was like a dad husband.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: Low, that's a responsibility, yes.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Ye part yeah alone in that I have a dad.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: But it's thing you know that you know then the
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: White fees like, all right, let's see this. You hear
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: the the size every now and then.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: And maybe I'm making it up in my head because
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I don't want to put her on full blast right now,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: but I'm just thinking, please don't. I'm thinking in my head,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: don't mention the electric to me again, because I know
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: this is all.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: My fault and I'm handling it. Yeah, you haven't handled
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: it for the last few weeks. I'm handling it now.
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: It's getting handled, no't matter what it in and out
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: of what happened a month ago, we're here now.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Yeah, getting it done. That is just like let somebody
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: down and you just know it's all on you, and
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: you're just like you're already beating the shit out of yourself.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: But when she comes down from a preventime because I
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: got to do Scottie so I was done first.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: She's up there with Rue.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: I get it figured out the rest of way while
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: she's up there with rue.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: So that one when she came down on my Hey,
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: power stands for over. Got to take care of it.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Let's go kind of like the the power just worked
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: in your favor.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: It's like, hey, yeah, but then you do the retroactive
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: thinking on I needed to have the surgency. If I
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: would have just had urgency back when I needed to
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: do it.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: This is my own war.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: This is my own self talking at this point, because
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I'm thinking, I just caught a slight dub. Hey, it's
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: all handled.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: You can relax, right.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: A very simple dad hack, by the way, with the
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: NES or any water bill or anything I cut out
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: on the when they mail it to you, I cut
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: out the account number and I tape it to like
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: somewhere where you know where to find it, like the
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: inside of our pantry, and I keep it there, and
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: then I know, whenever I need to check all my stuff,
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: where my info's at.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: That is a good hack. I think about things of
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: that nature, and I just also think, like I'm so dumb,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: I'm going to forget where I put whatever it is.
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: Oh yeah, well, And the only time that Jill has
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: ever threatened to leave me was when we came home
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: to no power because I thought we were on autopay
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: and we were not on autopay, so our electricity was out.
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: And she said, if I ever come back to a
- 1:17:54Speaker 4: home with you where the power is out because you
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: forgot to pay the bill, I'm done.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: I said, no taking, no taking?
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: What? Oh done? Heating out the gate?
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: Don't?
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: No, Yeah, she said that hit me with the APR.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: You said that, honey, because.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: She hit she did?
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: Or I'm done or I'm done, walk out of the
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: room immediately. This whole thing. You'll be turning in your
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: iPad tomorrow. You don't get this figured out. Yeah, I'm heated.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: We do need to get to voicema.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: Yeah. This one is titled just wait until.
- 1:18:38Speaker 6: Hey guys, this is Dwayne Davis from Valdosta, Georgia, and uh,
- 1:18:42Speaker 6: I am in the trenches right now, but this call
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: isn't really a motherfucker or I guess it could be
- 1:18:49Speaker 6: a crack of.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: Coal one just for all the dads. My wife and
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: I heard a.
- 1:18:54Speaker 9: Million times to wait, untils, wait until they poot on
- 1:18:59Speaker 9: your hand, wait until they wake up. It was so
- 1:19:02Speaker 9: frustrating hearing all that because we're six months in and
- 1:19:06Speaker 9: we're still waiting because you haven't got shit on our
- 1:19:09Speaker 9: hands and we're not sleeping.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: But it's the most awesome thing I've ever done, such
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: a huge calling and a blessing. But uh, I heard
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: a caller one time on the.
- 1:19:20Speaker 9: Show say he couldn't wait for the kids that put
- 1:19:25Speaker 9: themselves to sleep, and I agree with Will.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: What you said, man was enjoy it.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: It's gonna go by so fast.
- 1:19:30Speaker 9: So yeah, everybody expecting are in the trenches, and you
- 1:19:35Speaker 9: keep hearing people say, well, just wait until this or
- 1:19:37Speaker 9: wait until that, just telling them to go fuck themselves.
- 1:19:40Speaker 6: It's all guys, keep fighting a good fight.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: Love that calling because I like, I agree with that
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: the whole wait until stuff like time goes by so fast,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: and I try to It's like I even try to
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: reserve myself when I'm talking about, you know, waiting until
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: they get to sixteen months when the personality comes live,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: or wait until they can walk.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: It's gonna be so much better this than that.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: I do my best to bite my tongue because it's
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: so finite how long we get to be with the
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: kids to where there are gonna be times where you're
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: missing little footsteps. So you're missing to having to go
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: up in their room or whatever it is that She's
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: just like, dude, do your best because it's impossible, Like
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: you're gonna get frustrated all the time. Yeah, but do
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: your best to try and embrace all the moments because again,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: when it's gone, Like I talk about that digital frame
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: that we have up in the house where you see
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: all the old photos and this that the other, and
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: you just miss them being little. I made the comment
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: the other day to try, I'm like, I don't want
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Scotty to get any bigger because I just know them
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: both now as rude, being three, having long hair, having
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: her personality, putting words and sentences, like doing all this stuff,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: coming into her own and just kind of towering over
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Scotty right now. And Scotty's just you know, a little
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: one year old and she's just got a little her
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: little stains and stature where she's just kind of you know,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: rolls around the house, walks around, does her little stop.
- 1:20:59Speaker 6: Ah.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: That's like all of her little things to where it's
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: like I don't want that to be gone. I know
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: there's better things that's gonna come and all that's gonna
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: be awesome. But I just always like, I'm such a
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: we talk about all the time, we cry all the time.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: Now I'm just such a sad boy when it comes
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: to the Kenno's growing up and getting out of his face.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: This morning, I was telling.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Rue, hey, rude, do you remember how you say together?
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: And she was butchering and I'm like, no, you say
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: todayga todaga because she's like togay 'or togay you're together.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: But now she's like because she's she'll let me know
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: that she says together and like rolls the th h
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: p r.
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: She's got it down. Now you know, I just missed
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: the good.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: I miss the todaygas. I just miss all those little words.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: So it is it's like I'm with yeah the whole.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: Like when people are like, oh, just wait until this
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: or wait untill that, it's like, yeah, I get you,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: but just embrace every moment that you have, like it's all.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Every phase is gonna be shitty, every phase is gonna
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: have the ups and downs with it, but don't rush it.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: It's old age is like the days are long and
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: the years are short.
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: Yeah, because it really is like there's days you're just like, bro,
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: if I could just get twenty minutes to myself kind
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: of recharge my batteries and get back to neutral.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: That'd be amazing.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: But at the end of the day, like every opportunity
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: to take with your kids now is going to pay
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: dividends in the future. Yeah, just like rolling, rolling, and
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: like investing in a stock over and over again, Eventually
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: it's going to be massive. It's just been how much
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: you want to invest?
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: Yeah, like that one day when you crack a cold
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: beer with them or crack a cold lollipop and they're
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: older and they're adults, those those moments and memories are
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: going to be incredible.
- 1:22:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: Like I'm not I'm not above saying that I'm not
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: a huge fan of the diaper face.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: I'm not. I don't, I don't, I'm not. I'm not
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: into that.
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: But like looking at my eight year old now and remembering,
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: like you talking about together and how they pronounce it.
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: Like when when she was really young, she would say
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: a home all the time, talking about a home, a home,
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: a home, and she would give kiss his mouth wide
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: open and it was yeah, yeah, you like do you
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: want to give her kisses to the lips would.
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: Just go over yours.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: I guess that's a kiss, and you think like you
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: remember being in that moment so stressed with the situation.
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: But then you like, sit here now and I'm looking
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: at her, like and the wing goes to bed. Now,
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: I'll put Willow asleep and I'll go and Win and
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: I will just read and she will she has her
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: book out, like she's like these comic style books called
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: Wings of Fire, and she like, we'll just reach she'll
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: go in, I'll come home and she'll just.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Be reading like we just like do things together.
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, like just wait till this.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: But then you get a moment where like literally last night,
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: we're telling telling stories to the family that we that
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: are staying with us beause their powers out they have
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: no generator or nothing. And I'm like, we're talking about
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: twenty nineteen when we were in California and we'll Win
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: was there and blah blah blah. And you started to
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: look at old photos and you're like, dude, I missed that.
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: I miss like how little and how they used to
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: the way they operated. But it's like, yeah, every phase
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: you gotta do embrace and enjoy as much as possible,
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: because my next phase is dating and I'm gonna kill
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: how much?
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Sure?
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: How much?
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: Like is it?
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: Fear?
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Stuff goes on it in your mind that like the
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: older they get, obviously the kids separate more from us,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: like when they have their own friends, and that's not
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: as cool because you're you're getting like closer.
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: Yeah, there's already a phase of that going on in
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: my household right now. With Win, she's she has friends
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: over all the time. They always want to come over,
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: whether it's like Natalie Bates's girl, she'll bring She'll bring
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: all the kids over and they'll play the whole time.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: But like, uh, they're they're still in the phase where
- 1:24:18Speaker 3: like they want me to play too. And if there's
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: anything as a father that I can be like, I'm
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: really good at this, it's playing.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Yea, I will go into playing and I'll be like.
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: The next three hours of my life is just this
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: is what I'm doing. So I can go in there
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: and play and the kids can have fun with me.
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: They enjoy being around me more because they'll know that
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: I'll go do the things they want to do. But
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: you see her Win, Like I'd have the conversation with
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: Win one time. It was like probably less than six
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: months ago, and she told me, she's like, hey, Dad,
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: like I feel kind of weird when you kiss.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Me on the lips.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: Oh man, what do you What do you mean? She's like,
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: because you're a boy, and she goes, well, you're a man.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: I'm like, damn right.
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: She's like correct, I just feel like when you know,
- 1:25:03Speaker 3: when I'm with people and all that, Like maybe we
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: do a kiss in the cheek now. And I told her,
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: I was like, sweetie, I'll always be willing to kiss you,
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: like give you a kiss and love you up. But
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: whatever makes you feel comfortable, And however you want this
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: shit to go, it's up to you because eventually you're
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: going to be we have. Like the thing about when
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: and Willow is getting there too, is like when is
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: says very profound things at times, like the way she
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: she's very observant and very aware, which is really cool
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: to see, but like sometimes you just got to be like, yeah, man,
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: all right, if you don't want me to kiss you
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: in the lips anymore, that's perfectly fine. So every day's
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: a kissing the cheek now and I haven't kissed it.
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: We we accidentally kissing the lips like a week ago
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: and was like, Oh, I was like.
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: Hey, am I bad? It mean to you? Blah blah blah.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: But uh, it's just crazy.
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: It's crazy like how things are changing, and when's so
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: good about being aware of feeling the feeling of wanting
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: to be around friends a little bit more like when
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: I'm playing my friends, Hey can I play with my friends?
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: But yeah, I'll fall back, no problem. And then she'll
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: be like, all right, come come hang out now. But
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: it's constant communication about it because we sit there in bed, dude,
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: and I'll tell when I'll be like, dude, someday, you're
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: not gonna want to hang out with me, and Mom like,
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: you're gonna it's She's like, why would you say that.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: I was like, it's just what happens.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, And I'm like, you're gonna you're gonna want
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: to like explore friendships, explore relationships, explore boys, like you're
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: gonna learn about all these things and Mommy and Daddy
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: will like be like lesser than for a little bit.
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: And our hope is that we create this foundation for
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: you and a loving households where you just eventually like
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: come back around, because that's what happens when you go
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: through puberty and all these things, and we talk about kissing,
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: we talk about how it all works and relationships and that,
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: and it's like it's it's very weird. It's weird, but
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: it's like also fulfilling because a lot of kids like me,
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: I don't know how you guys were you kind of
- 1:26:52Speaker 3: just found out about this stuff watching TV. Your friend
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: would tell you about it, like you know, know all
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: all like all those things. And so with Whin, it's
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: like she's curious enough to ask me and mom questions
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: about it. So I tell him, Like Teling's mom at
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: a young age, she told and this is Miss Tanna,
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: she's absolute queen. She's like, hey, just so you know,
- 1:27:14Speaker 3: boys will fuck anything. Two they will go Taylor was
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: like twelve years old. Yeah, she goes, they'll fuck anything,
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: and they'll have sex with a pillow. They'll do this,
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: they'll do that, Like these are how this is how
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: boys operate, Like they will just want to know the
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: wind Wind talks to me about kissing, but I have
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: it when we talk about kissing, like as like the
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: talk like I might like, hey, listen, boys will tell
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: you anything they can to you to kiss them.
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: And when you kiss them.
- 1:27:40Speaker 3: There's gonna be a level of like fulfillment that some
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: boys don't want to stay around. But some boys I
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: want to kiss somebody else now to see if I
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: like kissing them better.
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: And that's just how it goes.
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: And me like, how many people have you kissed?
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: I'm like, couple? You know, No, I'm honest. I'm like, well,
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: I'm not like, you know honestly, no, No, I tell her,
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: you know, I'm like, hey, I've kissed people. I've kissed
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: other people.
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: And she asked me about other girlfriends and why didn't
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: work and all these things, and she's like learning about
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: how to established relationships. And she asked me, She's like,
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: how do I know if I'm going to find the
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: right person. I was like, can I just tell you
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: how it universally works? And then it moves in a
- 1:28:19Speaker 3: lot of different ways. Is you're going to watch your mom,
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: and your your mom is going to show you how
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: you should allow a man to treat you. So the
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: way I treat your mom and the way your mom
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: accepts the way I treat her is the way you're
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: going to accept the way another man treats you.
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: So that's going to help you.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: Find those borders.
- 1:28:35Speaker 3: Your dad is going to show you what kind of
- 1:28:38Speaker 3: man you should be with, because you're around me more
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: than anybody, Like I am technically your I am your
- 1:28:42Speaker 3: first love.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: She gets all bashfully.
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: So we love each other. And I am the only
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: man in your life that you see every single day.
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: And you see the way I operate. You see how
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: I talk to people. You see how I treat people.
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: You see I treat your mother. What I do for
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: your mother, what I don't do.
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: For your mother.
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: Where the friction is when every time me and has
- 1:29:00Speaker 3: ever been in a fight, it's only been like two
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: or three times in front of our kids. We make
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: sure to have resolution in front of them so they
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: know that, like, you don't just fight and you move on.
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: You have resolution.
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: So I tell them, like, hey, you're going to.
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: Look for qualities in a man that you marry based
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: off of me, whether you kind of like that or not.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: And that is God Like, that's how it's gonna be.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: And it's it's tough, dude, It's tough to have.
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: Those Do you have a framework in your head right
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: now of when you will allow her to start dating,
- 1:29:29Speaker 4: or like what you want dating to look.
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: Like at all not really, because.
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: If she's like me, it'll be whatever boundaries you put
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: in front of me, I'm gonna go across those boundaries. Yeah,
- 1:29:42Speaker 3: And so it truly is just foundation and communication for
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: me right now, and like you're going to be able
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: to identify but not good boys is a good boy? Yeah,
- 1:29:53Speaker 3: and like kind of helping her be like this is
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: how a not good boy as, this is how good
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: boy acts. Your daddy's been both me.
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: Show you how they are.
- 1:30:01Speaker 3: And we literally will role play these things with our
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: hands and I'll be like, boys, do you think to kiss?
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: You're like, well, how's that working.
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: I'll be like, hey, you trying to kiss off. I'll
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: be like what do you like?
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: And she's like, well, I like animals, I like being
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: outside all this, and I'll I'll be the boy. I'll
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: be like, I love animals.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: Do you love animals? I love Oh, I love being outside.
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: It's amazing.
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: But we hang out like, yeah, i'd love to hang out.
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: I'll see you tomorrow, go to sleep, come back, hey, so,
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: And then he keeps going like can I kiss you?
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: And she's like, well, no, I don't really know, just
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: go I.
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: Actually don't even like animals and I'll walk away. It'll
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: be like that's kind of how Yeah, boys will tell
- 1:30:37Speaker 3: you whatever you want to hear. Just get that kiss
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: and it's heartbreaking.
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: I like the I like the approach though, because again
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: you're like, if you feel boundaries, you'll there are people
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: out there that understand the mentality of the rebellious or
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: I'm going to find and go over those boundaries. But
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: it feels like too, it's like you can almost create
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: the boundaries through all the foundational work of everything. So
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: it's like almost the boundaries established. It's not like you're
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: creating be like, hey, here's the boundary, right because I said.
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: So, the boundary is foundationally We've said it right. I
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: haven't said it, but we together, like father and daughter,
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: have set this boundary for us and we know and
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: what I One thing I've realized too is kids do
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: so much better. My kids do so well with visually
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: things like the win and will both want to like
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: do more, they want to be more independent. Yeah, so
- 1:31:24Speaker 3: all they show up like, Okay, this is you, this
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: is your life. These are the things we allow you
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: to do as parents, and this is you right in
- 1:31:29Speaker 3: the middle of this allipop as you get.
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: Older, this goes farther and farther, and if you go
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: over here, I got to bring you back here. And
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: then they like see that now, like okay, that's this
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: is the amount of freedom you have now nine, ten, eleven, twelve.
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: And the kids that resonates with them for whatever reason,
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: the hand gestures, the talk like instead of just like
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: telling them things petty more a quote once in a while.
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: That they're like, what the what are we doing here
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: with this quote?
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: Yes, let's bring it? Yeah, yeah exactly. It's like using
- 1:31:55Speaker 2: the can it goes exactly. It's just crazy.
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: Parent is so so fulfilling, so scary because you think
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: you're doing good, but you don't know you're doing good.
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: And then they're like adults.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: Till they become adult and if they're they're doing well
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: or operating well, people speak well of them.
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: How do you measure them doing well? Is it a
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: successful job? Is the relationship they have, is the friends
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: they have around them? Is because they want to be
- 1:32:19Speaker 3: around you, Like, what are the things that make you
- 1:32:21Speaker 3: a successful parent? And it's kind of it's terrifying, but
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: every day if you like have that approach, it's like,
- 1:32:27Speaker 3: now you're taking care of the little things. You're not
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: as annoyed at the end of the night.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: Have you have you thought about what your first combos
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: or anything will be like with the first boy that
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: comes to the house in taking say, takes Win on
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: a date? Yeah, lots?
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: How does it go? God bless that? What's the movie
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: with fifty cent when the guy comes over to this
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: girl of problems?
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: Thieves?
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: You know we've been raised, You got the bad? Is
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: your response? Exactly?
- 1:32:57Speaker 3: I thought about that. I thought about like they're walking
- 1:32:59Speaker 3: out the door and hey, hey, buddy, John's.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: Home, John John.
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: He looks back at me and I taught toss a shotgun,
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: sholl at him. I go comes a lot faster after.
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: Ten pm something like that, like him with the bar.
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: But it's also twenty twenty six, so I can you
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: do that? Hey Taylor, the one tried to kill me
- 1:33:17Speaker 3: or threaten to kill me?
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: What did we had a eighty six or riding one
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: time saying that whenever say they have to be home
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: by nine, Yeah, nine o'clock, rows around to where the
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: cars pulling in. Dad's just outside doing oh you chores
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: around the house. They you know, the guy know, like,
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: you're not gonna be able to sit in the driveway
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: very long.
- 1:33:32Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: I like that, Yeah, a little longer out there, just
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: like raking and what do we do with snow? Went outside?
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: You're raking snow?
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah.
- 1:33:41Speaker 3: I guess I really haven't thought of how that conversation
- 1:33:43Speaker 3: because it was to sit down like what are your
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: intentions of my daughter? Yeah, but I like to be
- 1:33:47Speaker 3: more like I don't care if they like me or not,
- 1:33:51Speaker 3: but I want them to know how involved I am
- 1:33:53Speaker 3: in my daughter's life, right right, And so I guess
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: that's like figure out a way to land that plane
- 1:33:58Speaker 3: that I haven't really dove too much into a few
- 1:34:00Speaker 3: more years.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: Maybe I've thought about maybe just like putting a montage
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: video together of all the father daughter moments. And you're
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: sitting there and as he's watching, you start to cry,
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: like as as he's watching the video, and you just
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: let him know like she's been my responsibility my entire life.
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: She's gonna go and get in the car with you,
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: and now she's about to be your responsibility. It almost
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: makes me theary.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: You're talking like God, I told well, well, and Jimy
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: like hey, when she talks about seat belt, anything going
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: on her instinct has been navigated by her being our
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: responsibility her entire life.
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: And now she's going to go in your vehicle because
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: you have a seat belt story.
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: I think you dated, she's going to go in your
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: vehicle and now she's going to be your responsibility and
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: the not I don't know if it's paying whatever you
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: revolve to bring that back around, but hopefully you just
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: make the gentleman feel that.
- 1:34:53Speaker 2: They're now taking out like the most important thing in
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: the world. Yeah, there's an element of pressure that is
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: a good.
- 1:34:59Speaker 4: Dad hack as as far as like I wasn't dating
- 1:35:02Speaker 4: said girl, but I had a father essentially one he
- 1:35:05Speaker 4: got my number without asking me for my number, so
- 1:35:08Speaker 4: that was a little jarring, and then also just told
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: me essentially what will said of like, hey, she's seventeen
- 1:35:16Speaker 4: years old, she's she's gotten here because of me, Like
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: I am the reason that she is here. She is
- 1:35:23Speaker 4: now in your vehicle, So anything that happens from that
- 1:35:26Speaker 4: point on, that's because of you. And he never threatened
- 1:35:29Speaker 4: me or anything, but he was like, my daughter's safety
- 1:35:32Speaker 4: is in your hands. I need both hands on the
- 1:35:35Speaker 4: steering wheel, and that just let me know with her,
- 1:35:38Speaker 4: like hey, if you're And I wasn't looking to date her,
- 1:35:40Speaker 4: but I was like, whoever's dating that girl? Like they're
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: going to be on their p's and q's because Dad's
- 1:35:45Speaker 4: letting them know. Yeah, I'm on my p's and q's,
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: so you better be too, buddy. Yeah, Which I liked it,
- 1:35:50Speaker 4: like it was cool to give.
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: Him to like respect their instinct like if you're out
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: at a wherever you're at, there's a little maybe discomfort
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: or you ask a question and you might see a
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: little double taker up pause, like trying to get them
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: to feel or respect.
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: With that instinct. I don't know. It's something that I
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: feel like all dads sit there.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: In juggle on, like, man, what's it gonna be like, Yeah,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: when that first boy knocks at the door, what I yeah, yeah, mister.
- 1:36:18Speaker 2: Law, sit your ass down. I think it's just I
- 1:36:23Speaker 2: don't know.
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: With our kids, we are extremely blunt, like clear. You
- 1:36:27Speaker 3: try to be as clear as possible on every situation,
- 1:36:30Speaker 3: whether it's them understanding the concept of death, Like when
- 1:36:33Speaker 3: Taylor's grandmother died, like it wasn't like well she went,
- 1:36:36Speaker 3: it's like, hey, she is gone, and we're all gonna
- 1:36:39Speaker 3: miss her, and we're all aot to feel these emotions,
- 1:36:41Speaker 3: but like she can't come back because that's what it is.
- 1:36:45Speaker 3: And with them and dating, it'll be the same thing.
- 1:36:47Speaker 3: Like boys, I will tell when listen, the're gonna try
- 1:36:51Speaker 3: to fuck you. I know it's crazy to say.
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: And it's kind of like age here. It's like if
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: you're if you're sixteen years old, it's like, dude, this
- 1:36:59Speaker 2: is the reality. And like every boys and well, you're
- 1:37:02Speaker 2: basically letting them know, like, yeah, I speak the language.
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: You hear about it, right, right, I've been down this road, ye,
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: like trying to date a girl and with hormones and
- 1:37:11Speaker 3: the way they are, like this is how they're all
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: gonna think. They're all gonna think like my kids both
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: like their mother. They're both me very beautiful girls and
- 1:37:20Speaker 3: that sucks, but it's also nice and it's like, understand
- 1:37:24Speaker 3: your beauty is not your identity. That to me is
- 1:37:26Speaker 3: one of the biggest things.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: Yeah, when those when the dads come up to you
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: that you might just be acquaintances or just meet out
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: and about out in the wild and they just come
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: up they like you are you a girl? Dad?
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: They see that you're two girls and they're like, good luck.
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: Buddy, I know, I hate to cut it short because
- 1:37:43Speaker 4: we are past Will's cut off officially by ten minutes.
- 1:37:48Speaker 2: Would we want to go into our lesson of the week?
- 1:37:51Speaker 2: Do we have any other themes? Hang on with me?
- 1:37:54Speaker 3: Oh, here we go the notes go to kids stack.
- 1:37:57Speaker 3: Ooh yeah, go to kids stack. This is not gonna
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: be like, this is not gonna be one that one's like,
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: oh yeah for sure.
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: But jerky.
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: Mature palate. Yeah maybe maybe. Back in the day, is
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: there was there like a go to snack that you're like,
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: I need it. We need to make sure we have this.
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: There's ours ours right now it feels like it's apple
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: sauce and it's gotta be the cupped apple sauce.
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: Can't be the squeeze anymore. The squeeze. It's yeah, yeah, yes.
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: By the way, we got to.
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: Go to the go to snack is like yogurt, honey granola,
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: like that's that's that's the bakfast, yeah staple.
- 1:38:43Speaker 3: And it's like I'm hungry, I want this, and we
- 1:38:45Speaker 3: got all the tailing. Dylan does not care about designer bags,
- 1:38:50Speaker 3: she doesn't care about nice vehicles, she doesn't.
- 1:38:52Speaker 2: Care about jewelry. She cares about.
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: Quality of food.
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: That's that's Tailings like number one thing.
- 1:39:00Speaker 3: She's a huge jokes Like even when I would have
- 1:39:01Speaker 3: like eighty dollars to my name, I spend more than
- 1:39:03Speaker 3: half of it on a good steak like that. Yeah,
- 1:39:06Speaker 3: like that's what she cares about. She dresses essentially if
- 1:39:09Speaker 3: you see me, like she's the girl version of how
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: I dress. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the same amount exactly.
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: And so she's like big on like preparing snacks, having
- 1:39:19Speaker 3: the best. If you're gonna have a bag like essentially
- 1:39:22Speaker 3: processed snack, it's like gotta be no seat oil, no this,
- 1:39:25Speaker 3: no that yeah perfect and so but jerky for us
- 1:39:29Speaker 3: is like our kids are we cut it, Jason cuts
- 1:39:33Speaker 3: it and then we put it in dehydrator season that.
- 1:39:36Speaker 2: But oh you'll are doing your own jerky on jerky.
- 1:39:38Speaker 3: Tailing cans her own peaches. She cans her own tomatoes
- 1:39:42Speaker 3: in the summertime. So we have like a whole like
- 1:39:44Speaker 3: a backstock of everything. Yeah, we have bees, so we
- 1:39:46Speaker 3: have over every single year. So Tailing is she's dial.
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: We still have a lot of colors, a lot of
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: good colors.
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: I love that breast milk in her out man. Yeah,
- 1:40:01Speaker 2: tasting it. Yeah, you see is that right?
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: Now? Come on man, come on man.
- 1:40:05Speaker 2: I'm just trying to make sure you know.
- 1:40:06Speaker 3: Yeah, a couple of switch back in the day when
- 1:40:09Speaker 3: they first what was it called colostrum?
- 1:40:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, throw it in some coffee that's got a
- 1:40:14Speaker 2: little some extra to it.
- 1:40:15Speaker 1: Now yeah.
- 1:40:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: If it's good for kids in development, why can't it
- 1:40:18Speaker 2: be good for a thirty four year old. Come on, man,
- 1:40:20Speaker 2: let's go get a little Our brains are still developing. Yeah,
- 1:40:24Speaker 2: no doubt. We need to rebuild our brains a little bit.
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: Fifty six, Ye have it?
- 1:40:28Speaker 4: A little colostrum? Calclostum will say, I've never tasted it.
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: Oh you have it? Oh breast milk or colostrum? Both? Okay, both, okay.
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: I never got a couple of SIPs. Yeah, I took
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: a couple of SIPs. It's really not that bad. And
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: even doing that, I felt like intentionally because one of
- 1:40:46Speaker 1: my old neighbors he's like, bro, you gotta drink the
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: breast milk.
- 1:40:48Speaker 2: He's big on bro.
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: A matter of fact, he was so far on its
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: where he's like, uh, if you have any left overall,
- 1:40:53Speaker 1: take it?
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, no, I'm done.
- 1:40:57Speaker 7: Charlie was standing there, sorry, jar was standing in there
- 1:41:00Speaker 7: when he right, Yes, that's the story.
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: That's bold, dude, and found the youth. He's like, I'm
- 1:41:10Speaker 1: telling you, I'm telling you dive in. I think there's
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: I think there is a lot of like science. That's
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: a true empty stick though.
- 1:41:19Speaker 2: Yeah, crazy, but some people are about it like good
- 1:41:24Speaker 2: for them. You've never tried it. It didn't it taste bad?
- 1:41:28Speaker 7: Is mine?
- 1:41:28Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: Maybe on the.
- 1:41:31Speaker 2: Come on now, we'll.
- 1:41:33Speaker 3: Slip up and say, I know, and I think it's
- 1:41:35Speaker 3: a good time because we are running over your time
- 1:41:37Speaker 3: that you do have to leave.
- 1:41:39Speaker 2: You guys know this.
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: You guys know this.
- 1:41:40Speaker 3: In the back, I did lie at the beginning of
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: this podcast, I said, I've only been through buds twice.
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: He did, I have now been through buds three times,
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: and I am having a third child.
- 1:41:54Speaker 2: Let's go. I thought this would be the most fitting
- 1:41:56Speaker 2: place to announce it to the world.
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 1:41:59Speaker 2: Yes, So did we go any farther? Oh, you want
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: to talk about the journey?
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: You know, the gender of my young boy? I did?
- 1:42:14Speaker 6: I did?
- 1:42:14Speaker 1: No, I did hear something really scary. We're waiting.
- 1:42:18Speaker 3: We gotta do the geneic testing. Okay, and then I'll
- 1:42:21Speaker 3: it'll confirm that it's a boy. But everything I've seen
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: on that ultrasound, buddy, we got.
- 1:42:26Speaker 2: We got all right.
- 1:42:28Speaker 10: The curse is broken, allegedly alleged allegedly because there were
- 1:42:32Speaker 10: some things that scared me since I've told you guys
- 1:42:34Speaker 10: about it, where they're like, hey, you got to make
- 1:42:36Speaker 10: sure the twenty week thing and then you dial that
- 1:42:38Speaker 10: in then we'll know for sure.
- 1:42:39Speaker 2: Yeah, could be this could be just swollen labia.
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: That's a big as.
- 1:42:45Speaker 2: It was the movie foty year old version.
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: Are you sure you don't use it? You lose it?
- 1:42:49Speaker 2: No, No, where he's got it. He's got the ultrasound
- 1:42:51Speaker 2: on the TV. Look at his day.
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: Yeah. Is that not his foot? Yeah?
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: But if it is actually a boy, which I'm ninety
- 1:43:01Speaker 3: five percent sure it is, I can't wait. Man. I'm
- 1:43:05Speaker 3: so excited to find out what it's like. I told
- 1:43:07Speaker 3: I've told tale, I'll have a mini off as many
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: kids as you want.
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: This is. This is in the beginning, But if we
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: have two girls, I'm done.
- 1:43:13Speaker 3: I've been around too many guys and I've chased the
- 1:43:16Speaker 3: boy over and over again. Then she's like, hey, move,
- 1:43:18Speaker 3: we shd have another one. I don't feel like we're
- 1:43:19Speaker 3: like finished yet. Yeah, I'm like kind of in Then
- 1:43:22Speaker 3: I pulled back out and then I'm like, you know what,
- 1:43:24Speaker 3: maybe we will. So I was playing this toxic relationship
- 1:43:27Speaker 3: still little cat and mouse game, not a fun game
- 1:43:29Speaker 3: for Tailing to play. Finally, I'm like, okay, let's do it.
- 1:43:33Speaker 4: And you asked me to put a power point together?
- 1:43:36Speaker 4: Uh one time?
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: Yeah, because I was like because I eventually went to Taylor,
- 1:43:39Speaker 3: I was like, we got to have another kid, and
- 1:43:41Speaker 3: the conversation stem from us be on the bus where
- 1:43:43Speaker 3: all you guys got a bully movie called Tail, like
- 1:43:48Speaker 3: they have a third I guess after third. She's like,
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: I'm not gonna have a third because you guys, just
- 1:43:52Speaker 3: if you want to have one, you need to like
- 1:43:54Speaker 3: prove it to me. So I went to Sherman and
- 1:43:57Speaker 3: I was like, we might have to make a PowerPoint
- 1:43:58Speaker 3: of why we actually all the cute ship you Jill
- 1:44:02Speaker 3: gone through, we're having a third child. My kids will
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: be nine and six when this one is born.
- 1:44:07Speaker 2: Come on.
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: Scary but also kind of fired up about that, dude,
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: because both of them are very they're very like great
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: with young kids. Like Rufe for example, when she comes over,
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: when Willow will come up her, grab her hand, take
- 1:44:19Speaker 3: her upstairs, like they've all owned so good with little kids.
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: That's the girls too, Like it's boys, like I'm sixty
- 1:44:26Speaker 1: years older than Wyatt. I don't feel like I was
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: that you're nurturing. Yeahsx years old. But it feels like girls, dude,
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: they just they're different. Man.
- 1:44:35Speaker 3: I've looked at when in the eyes you're raising this one. Yeah,
- 1:44:38Speaker 3: I'm here, like you need some of me to let
- 1:44:40Speaker 3: me know, but I'm falling back.
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: Yeah, like you know, I don't do the diaper face.
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: You know, we're gonna have to some training, buddy, bro
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: when Win's gonna crush it. That's one thing Willow too,
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: man like.
- 1:44:50Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the crazy thing too, is when's like I
- 1:44:53Speaker 3: don't know, I don't know if you were going to
- 1:44:55Speaker 3: feel this way, but like when all the first her
- 1:44:58Speaker 3: first or my first as well.
- 1:45:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and then walks and them talking.
- 1:45:01Speaker 3: Yes, it's more like it's like, oh awesome, Willow, she's walking,
- 1:45:08Speaker 3: Oh awesome, she's talking. But it wasn't like it wasn't
- 1:45:10Speaker 3: the first. Yeah, so it feels like she's kind of
- 1:45:13Speaker 3: getting a little overshadowed a little bit, and so we've
- 1:45:16Speaker 3: recently been like, look how great Willow is all things
- 1:45:18Speaker 3: will is doing, because Willows like way more developed at
- 1:45:21Speaker 3: five the Win was, and we tell why, just listen,
- 1:45:24Speaker 3: your sister might be a damn genius. And it's just
- 1:45:26Speaker 3: interesting how like the second one works and now having
- 1:45:29Speaker 3: a third.
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: And you can almost kind of foresee you a little
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: bit like the middle child stuff because again, all the
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: first with the first one, then you got in your
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: situation Willow, and then the baby's gonna come in right,
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: and it's like the baby's going to be catered to
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: when Willow is the one being catered to a lot
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: of the time because they were the baby for a while.
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: And then this kind of middle child stuff formed because
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: they're not experiencing the first of everything. They now have
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: the awareness to be like, oh, Win's going through all
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: the first of these things.
- 1:45:56Speaker 2: Now I got somebody younger than me that all the
- 1:45:58Speaker 2: entire worlds around this baby right now, age gap, will
- 1:46:01Speaker 2: will benefit.
- 1:46:02Speaker 3: Like I think the boy that have like two girls
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: that are like and like Win and will They're great
- 1:46:07Speaker 3: at they love playing and so like they can go
- 1:46:10Speaker 3: do the thing all day and when it's great about
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: bringing her along even when her older friends are there.
- 1:46:14Speaker 3: Who's older than when Win's like, come on, Willow, she
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: does a good job of being all the time. But
- 1:46:18Speaker 3: she does a good job of it, so will It's
- 1:46:20Speaker 3: like being intentional about like there's a hey, by the way,
- 1:46:23Speaker 3: you're as much a part of this family as anybody,
- 1:46:25Speaker 3: like you want to juice them up a little bit without.
- 1:46:27Speaker 2: Like being too babying.
- 1:46:29Speaker 3: Yeah, and so it'll be it'll be an interesting dynamic
- 1:46:32Speaker 3: for sure, but you're very aware of like, oh, I
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: understand why the the middle child, you know, stigma kind
- 1:46:37Speaker 3: of comes up a little bit for sure. Yeah, fired, bro,
- 1:46:40Speaker 3: I'm I dude, got your little little spring and comeback, coaches.
- 1:46:44Speaker 2: I did say.
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:46:47Speaker 4: I said broke the curse earlier. I do just want
- 1:46:50Speaker 4: to put out there that is not uh, that's not
- 1:46:53Speaker 4: a bad thing. It's just an inside joke at the
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: office that if you work at Bust and that you
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: will only have a girl has become a joke.
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: Is not a curse to you.
- 1:47:02Speaker 3: I'm sure he'll understands that, Oh, it's not a girls.
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: Having girls is the best because.
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: I've been around Inside guide joke, inside busting guy.
- 1:47:10Speaker 2: Takes a man to make a man.
- 1:47:13Speaker 1: Come on, Willie, what you got the girls?
- 1:47:17Speaker 3: The girls are like I've been around a bunch of boys,
- 1:47:19Speaker 3: young boys, psychopaths, fit for a straight jacket. They they
- 1:47:23Speaker 3: don't want to swim, but they jump at the deep end.
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: What are we doing?
- 1:47:27Speaker 3: And I do love like like Instagram parent stuff when
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: like the has a slow mover like a kid, a
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: guy pretending to be a kid, when kids, he's a
- 1:47:33Speaker 3: corner and they're just like dive head that It's hilarious
- 1:47:37Speaker 3: to me.
- 1:47:37Speaker 2: I'm like, that's a boy.
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: Has a boy right there.
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: Yeah, get him a helmet, let him roll. Okay, topic
- 1:47:44Speaker 2: quote less than a week.
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: There's one I found speaking of dad stuff on Instagram.
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: This one comes from a level of dad. This is
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: a little This could be a tear jerker, okay, trying
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: to keeping over under, trying not to cry here.
- 1:47:59Speaker 2: I don't think so. I just I have no clue
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: where my feelings start going when I'm reading something.
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: Okay, one day, Uh, they won't run to the door
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: when I walk in, and I won't know it was
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: the last time. No little footsteps racing down the hallway,
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: No shouts of Dad's home echoing to the house. Just quiet,
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: the kind that reminds you how fast it all went.
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: The toys will all be packed away, the message will
- 1:48:23Speaker 1: be gone. The bedtime stories will turn into phone calls
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: that come less and less, so while they still run
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: to you, drop your bag, get on the floor, and
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: soak it in because one day you'll miss the chaos
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: more than you can imagine. Don't rush these days. They're
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: the ones you wish you could run back to.
- 1:48:40Speaker 2: It's a good thing that goes with the call in.
- 1:48:42Speaker 1: I hate that one. I want to say, Yeah, all
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: this stuff we're talking about with your kiddos being older, Yeah,
- 1:48:49Speaker 1: so dude, yeah that is a nightmare thought. Yeah, dude,
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: I watched The Parent Trap the other day with my
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: kids and I cried during that.
- 1:48:58Speaker 2: Yeah, bro, triithering anything.
- 1:49:01Speaker 4: Now movies are hitting different for me, and I'm only
- 1:49:04Speaker 4: six months in.
- 1:49:05Speaker 2: When I just really get to do.
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: It, who's there? I do it to you all the time.
- 1:49:14Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: It's never like uh, it's never like so like waiting
- 1:49:20Speaker 2: till this.
- 1:49:20Speaker 1: It's like awesome moments you're talking about it, never like
- 1:49:23Speaker 1: the way this guy's talking. Oh yeah, wait, until you
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: have to clean up this you don't know.
- 1:49:26Speaker 3: And like, because my kids are so much older than
- 1:49:29Speaker 3: your kids, I'm just like I feel like I'm like
- 1:49:32Speaker 3: passing something down. I feel like a sense of like, hey,
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: this is gonna be yeah, this is gonna be awesome.
- 1:49:36Speaker 3: And you tell me stories about and I remember that face.
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: Yeah. It's just really it's really cool because you think too,
- 1:49:43Speaker 1: like as a parent, you know, for the most part,
- 1:49:45Speaker 1: like between the ages of like what zero four, they
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: probably won't remember a whole lot of ship. Yeah, So
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: in my brain, I almost feel like it's like whether
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: it's like a spiritual thing or universal thing that the
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: first few years they're on the is like for us
- 1:50:00Speaker 1: to enjoy as tough and as hard as it is,
- 1:50:03Speaker 1: like as parents, they're like in there like in the
- 1:50:05Speaker 1: world for you to soak in and enjoy more so
- 1:50:08Speaker 1: than you know, you get to this spostor where you
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: enjoy more when they are older and they can communicate
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: with you better and you're having more fun with them,
- 1:50:15Speaker 1: and just like not try my best to like not
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: lose sight of that. Like when it is you know,
- 1:50:20Speaker 1: you're getting stir crazy in the house and you're like, man,
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: they just need you all the time.
- 1:50:25Speaker 2: When they're a three year old and especially the.
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: One year old, they just need you all the time,
- 1:50:29Speaker 1: which can like weigh on you, especially when you start
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: going back and forth with the wife a little bit,
- 1:50:33Speaker 1: or you can just feel the chaos kind of taking
- 1:50:35Speaker 1: all of us in one moment.
- 1:50:37Speaker 4: That's the toughest battle for me, and y'all brought it
- 1:50:40Speaker 4: up earlier with like the diaper stage. Is I really
- 1:50:43Speaker 4: do find myself after a long day of work, I'm
- 1:50:46Speaker 4: doing that final diaper change, that fine old bottle, and
- 1:50:49Speaker 4: I am powering through it. I am going as fast
- 1:50:53Speaker 4: as possible to get her down as fast as possible.
- 1:50:56Speaker 4: And I truly do have to remind myself of like, dude,
- 1:50:59Speaker 4: take your time and enjoyed that. Like she is so
- 1:51:01Speaker 4: happy right now. She's not even crying.
- 1:51:04Speaker 2: She's smiling in.
- 1:51:06Speaker 3: The middle yourself, think, God, she's not crying. Like I
- 1:51:08Speaker 3: get this baby to sleep, Yeah, I got it, man,
- 1:51:10Speaker 3: there's made a good bedtime.
- 1:51:12Speaker 2: Right in the middle of the night.
- 1:51:13Speaker 1: And you're kind of like playing a weird little game
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: with the wife, like can I just pretend to sleep
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: right now? Like is she gonna get up quick? Is
- 1:51:18Speaker 1: she gonna nudge me, am I gonna you know, oh buddy, Yeah,
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: sometimes I personally believe no one can sleep like that.
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: We have alarms go off. The girls like, hey, you.
- 1:51:31Speaker 2: Make a little sleep talking too, just to really sell it. Yeah,
- 1:51:36Speaker 2: hey boys, great, so great.
- 1:51:39Speaker 3: I really appreciate you guys having me on I know
- 1:51:42Speaker 3: lot of the buses right there. It's like I'm not
- 1:51:44Speaker 3: around it, but appreciate.
- 1:51:45Speaker 2: You guys having me in my buildings.
- 1:51:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it is really cool to see you guys like
- 1:51:50Speaker 3: build this. I see how fascet it's growing. Be a
- 1:51:53Speaker 3: part of it in this this one episode. Would love
- 1:51:55Speaker 3: to do it again with you. Yes, this is truly
- 1:51:57Speaker 3: awesome and you're doing like you see the comment. It's
- 1:52:00Speaker 3: like the community is growing and it's like a therapy session.
- 1:52:02Speaker 3: It's been fun, bro, but this is they gotta do
- 1:52:06Speaker 3: it more. It's like, I'm upset that I have to
- 1:52:08Speaker 3: say because we could literally go for four hours. I
- 1:52:10Speaker 3: was thinking the same and just asking him questions. Since
- 1:52:13Speaker 3: he's got he's got the older ones.
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: I want.
- 1:52:15Speaker 2: I want to ask you guys like, yeah, this could
- 1:52:17Speaker 2: be a three hour podcast.
- 1:52:18Speaker 1: Let's do it against him too. You'll be you'll be
- 1:52:21Speaker 1: almost getting reintroduced. You'll be having to go back in
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: time and get reintroduced. Yeah, the things.
- 1:52:26Speaker 2: Oh I kind of forgot about that. Oh dude. Yeah,
- 1:52:29Speaker 2: baby boy, come in to the diaper, call me a
- 1:52:33Speaker 2: bad person. I don't don't do that. Yeah, no, no,
