Purchased in Amsterdam [upbeat music] [laughs] Good Lord, what's going on in this place already? [laughs] It's,
0:19
uh- Fiendishness. Full, full spectrum cycling. 71 themes. 71. 71, folks. Uh, what's happening? You're, you're chuckling there. What's, what's going on? What do you got there? Oh, it- Is that a, is that a pager?
0:34
We were looking at the pager. A pager. I mean, yeah. I mean- Sometimes you have a pager [laughs] They still exist, I guess. Part of the world is 20 years behind right now. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. In the past few months.
0:46
I don't think I actually carried a pager for more like 25 years. Well, live sporting looks like a- Yeah... PlayStation 2 game now. Yeah. Like, "Oh, hey, look, big arms."
0:57
And then they just change the color of the unif- or a fan's uniform. "Oh, now we're rooting for the Giants." Right on. That was fun. So probably can tell it's Sven, JK and Tony here in the studio. Hello, everybody.
1:14
Hi there. Hi, everybody. Uh, weekend. Qui- quite a weekend there. Yeah, that was- Oh Oh... the holiday...
1:21
not, not the usual, but still- It was gonna- You, you're never gonna stop people from riding their bikes in our neighborhood and having fun It's the not River West 24. River West 24. It didn't come up as a hashtag even.
1:33
Not. Not. Oh. Nope, it's just RW24. I'm thinking about- Just like-... a new Facebook. It's gonna be RW247365. 24... Is that a phone number, may I ask? It's every day of the year.
1:49
Yeah, I got [laughs] it sounds like a phone number though. I mean, I know you can figure that out, but yeah. I mean, just figure you go out. 24- You go to the website... 736, needs another number...
1:56
you, you list that you had a lap. 867-5309. You got it. [laughs] Number on my wall The number on the wall. That two-toned, uh- Uh, yeah, so, boy, well, we did the opening- Fun... did the opening lap at 7:00. Yeah. Yep.
2:11
Closing lap at 6:00. Yep, those were my two laps. Closing lap. Got covered in cheese prior somewhere in between. I cleared it. Yeah. Oh. Oh, I cleared it too, no problem. Someone didn't. Cheese jump. #cheesejump. Yep.
2:23
I cle- #Let'sSeeWhatMyTireDoes... well, I specifically, I specifically didn't clear it just so I could splash it. And you did splash it. The, the video on, on the, uh, uh, w- Annie Oatmeal posted on the, um- Yeah...
2:34
what's that thing called? It's, it's a good splash. You cleared it. I splashed. It's a good splash. Yeah, I'm right in front of him. I totally clear it. [laughs] He just lands right, it goes psh. [laughs] Beautiful.
2:42
[laughs] I guess it was- On the Instagrams. [laughs] Where's my cough button? Yeah. [laughs] I, I guess it was, um- I think you have it... vegan cheese, which I- Mm... that, how does that work? 'Cause, does- Well, I-...
2:52
isn't cheese from a- I, I don't know how it works... a milk product?... but I'm totally fine that it was poured on the ground. [laughs] Yeah, but- Rather than trying to consume...
2:59
why not call it vegan something- Yellow... besides cheese? Because it's not, how, there's, if there's no dairy in it- 'Cause no one would buy it- How could it be cheese... if it was vegan something else.
3:07
They would buy it if it's vegan cheese and they're vegans. Yeah, this was a Lewis Black thing. Now that I have no problem with vegans. It's like- They leave more meat for me. Right The same thing with soy milk.
3:16
You know, I know there's no thing as soy milk. And who the hell is milking those soybeans? Because you know what there isn't? A soy titty. A soy [laughs] Almond milk. It's soy juice.
3:25
But if you sold it as soy juice- No one would buy it. Well, how come- You'd kinda throw up a little bit, you know? Yeah, how come... But it's not like margarine- But full disclosure, I love soy milk. [laughs] Soy juice?
3:33
It's delicious. But it's not like margarine in the old days. Oleo. When they co- Oleo. When they co- Whoa. When they co- Oh, deep hole. See? When they colored it to make it look like butter though- Right...
3:42
got in trouble. Add the yellow coloring and suddenly it's no longer Oleo, it's, like, it's- Can't do that... yeah, you can't have that. No. And oh, wait, let me digress a little further. Aha.
3:49
So- We're in the rabbit hole... when we're in here now, when you grew up, did your parents refrigerate their butter? Um, we didn't- Yes... we had an ice box. But was the butter always in the ice box?
4:02
[laughs] 'Cause we left it out on the table- I don't know. I don't think so... because that made it easier to spread. Yeah. And ice still wouldn't melt. Unless it was 100 degrees outside, and then it's a pool of goo.
4:09
Well, which is even better 'cause then I can just dunk my toast right into it. Just dip it right in there. Right. My mom grew up on a farm. So yeah, it was always out. Right. But then my dad would always put it in.
4:17
[laughs] So I was, it was on a- A rotating- A r- yeah, yeah, yeah... yeah. Sometimes out, sometimes in. No, but your, then your mom grew up on a farm- Yeah... so she kept a, also kept a jar of grease. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
4:26
You have to. Yeah, that's the gold. Oh, see, we have this thing. [laughs] Well, I keep my butter that's on deck in the fridge, but the actual one that's out is not- Is out, right. It's a safety... yeah.
4:36
I refrigerate my grease. Yeah. Hmm. That I do. I might. I usually don't, but yeah. I mean, bacon grease- I just do it, I-... I just leave it under the counter- I, I, I-... in a closed jar so it doesn't get dusty.
4:48
I like the layers Or the cat finds it... it's like a parfait from old time KFC style. It's like, ooh, I remember that was very peppery bacon, you know? It's like fossil, you know- Yeah... excavating. Layered.
4:58
[laughs] Nice. So we're gonna talk about bikes? Uh- It's about bacon and grease and bi- And bikes... bacon is always on a bike ride, so yes. We didn't have a lot of bacon this River West 24. There was not a lot of bacon.
5:10
No. I'll say this- Distinct lack of bacon. Yes. And hard to find food too, 'cause of- Yeah... well, the COVID, I guess. And it- I don't know... well, I, to be fair- To be fair... to be fair, I, I normally grab bacon.
5:22
I normally have bacon. Right. And the thing was, this way this w- world works, this weekend, past weekend, just totally snuck up on me. It did. And it was like, oh, shit, the 24 is this weekend.
5:36
I, um, I had to repeatedly remind- Or whatever version it's going to be... Greg that it was Saturday instead of Sunday, because I too felt it was a Sunday. I felt it was a Sunday.
5:44
But we got to go to Klinger's and get ourselves the $3 cheeseburgers. Very envious of that. Which was because company was- Closed... closed between 2:00 and 4:00- For some reason...
5:52
for some reason, which was fine- I just know it's been-... 'cause that was a g- It's their prerogative... a good burger for three bucks.
5:56
It's been since March since I've had a greasy Klinger's burger- Oh, it's very, very good... and I've been antsy. Well, it wasn't even Frank cooking it, was it? No. No, he did a great job, though. He did a great job.
6:04
You didn't have enough season- I don't need-... uh, Lawry's on it, so. A little more seasoning. Yeah, a little more Lawry's on there. That's what Frank said. I don't, I don't, I, ugh. I'll pay full price.
6:12
And it gave you guys shit for having long hair? I just, I just want them to be open for it I gave a guy, I was walking by him, I said, "I can finally say this to you, you sir. Get a haircut you fucking hippie."
6:19
[laughs] And he looked at me, he said, "I can finally say fuck you to you." And then I walked away, and he bought us a round of beer because he had no idea I had long hair. Who was that?
6:26
The dude at the end of the bar that brought us the round of beer. Oh, oh, right. Right on. Okay. [laughs] Yeah, I- He was like, "I totally thought you were insulting me. I had no idea you had long hair."
6:34
[laughs] "Here's a round of beers." I'm like, "Okay." Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, so I don't know. Uh, little e-burnout in the cheese. Mm-hmm. [laughs] Not, not on film unfortunately.
6:48
[laughs] Still have, still have cheese on my bike from said burnout. Yeah, I got it. It's off of all my clothes and my body finally, Greg. Thank you. God, there was cheese flying everywhere.
6:56
People were laughing so hard it made it all worthwhile. I just thought Jeremy was like, he does all these Harley things, and they're always doing burnouts. Yeah.
7:03
I'm like, "Well, how about an electric bike burnout in vegan cheese?" Yeah. Exactly. I didn't realize that you were standing right back behind it, which was the icing on the cake.
7:11
Which made it that much funnier- Yeah [laughs]. Oh, man... as I'm getting splattered with cheese. [laughs] It's on my shoes. It's on my clothes. Yeah. It's on my bike. [laughs] It's probably still on your bike somewhere.
7:21
Oh, yeah. I haven't washed it off yet. I'm- Oh, man. You gotta get a picture of that for the- That stuff's kinda... I have a pic- Ooh... had a picture on Instagram of the- It was pretty funny...
7:27
seat post all covered with it. Yeah. We were covered in cheese, fake cheese. But it wasn't really like a normal 24- No... because the- No, and you knew- I was, I was home by 11:00 o'clock. The overnight was not really...
7:38
I didn't- I-... get back until 10:00 the next morning. I got my tattoo before the race for the first time ever. [laughs] Oh, yeah. We gotta get a picture of that. Uh, I have one. Is it on your butt? No. No.
7:48
[laughs] Butt tattoos hurt. I'm gonna guess. I don't have any, but I'm gonna guess they hurt. In the glutes. Your strong cycling buttocks. Almost thought about getting the tattoo.
8:00
One, I'm still virgin- It's pretty good... canvas, so. I know it's only gonna [laughs]... I know the first one's gonna either be that or- And then someone I ran into said-... something re-...
8:08
"Are people really getting those on their knuckles?" I'm like, "No, dude. That's a knuckle tattoo drawn out a- [laughs] He's like, "Oh, okay. That makes it way better." Well, we'll have a- Yes...
8:17
picture of it in the show notes. Li- listen, listen to the words- It's a, it's a thumbs up with RW24 on the knuckles. Or a thumbs down. Or a thumbs down or a- Or sideways like me... thumbs sideways. Yeah.
8:25
[laughs] I opted for sideways. It's whatever you want it to be. Right. And if you really wanna get one in your neighborhood- You can... you probably can. You can just [laughs] Oh, there's, there's no law against it.
8:35
Right? Yeah. It was... But it was still a great weekend. Great, great River West neighborhood weekend to- Vibe... yeah, it was- Vibe out. Yeah... people were cool.
8:46
There was- Yeah, there were some- I seen a lot of old friends... socially distancing bands at the- Yeah... River West Arby's and... And then I guess people, there was the, the, the trailer rolled around. The Funk Wagon?
8:57
We saw that. Is that what it's called? Yeah. The Funk Wagon, yeah. We saw that- Yeah, on the last lap... right. Yeah, on the last lap we saw the Funk Wagon- Yeah... rolling, which is- Wait.
9:03
Wasn't I on the last lap with you? Nice. Yeah. Yeah, but you peeled one direction. Yeah, we were like at Bremen- I don't know...
9:07
right across from the b- So I was racing the tattoo artist who actually technically beat me on my electric [laughs] bike. I was very impressed with her.
9:13
Well, no, 'cause we were with like, uh, there was like the Martin, um, Wood Swiss Miss. Gotcha. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then th- they were taking the, uh- Okay...
9:25
the da, da, da, da, da, switch back up to Booth and then Booth up, which I don't do that o- I, I just don't do that route. But I, then again, I only did two damn laps. Right. So, [laughs] Well, I-...
9:36
you know, I was just like, I w- like, that's just up a damn hill. But there's like a lot of places you can stop, and a lot of people that live. Da, da, da, da, da. Makes sense. But I was going for eh, eh. Mm-hmm.
9:47
And went by Bremen, and sure enough, the Hump Fak- Hump what? Funk- Funk Wagon. The Hump Wagon. [laughs] It's actually- [laughs] Yeah, it's got its own, uh- Yeah, yeah, yeah... page, @funkwagon. Yeah.
9:57
It's like some- Yeah... cats from, uh, Chicken Wire Empire. Yeah. It was cool stuff, man. Yeah, bunch of, bunch of band people in a- They were good... in a trailer that are playing and rolling down the street.
10:06
It was good. Yeah. It's very cool. So, yeah. That's very cool. Got distracted, didn't hit the finish line for another hour and a half after that, but- Let's see... hey, got across the finish line. It's not a race.
10:15
It's not a race. [laughs] It's the people's holiday. Well, you know, Greg. Greg, you know. Well, you know, Greg. I see a lot of batteries back there. Yeah, I know. Did you add to the collection- No. No...
10:23
of, uh, Grin batteries? No. So that's the s- well, now we have six. Oh, yeah. Yeah. No. I mean, your two plus those four. Okay. So you d- we only had five originally. I just o- Yeah...
10:32
e- every time I order from them, I just- You order one?... tack one more on the order and- Yeah, why not?... kind of build up the bank. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10- So have you seen the-...
10:39
11, 12... yeah. What a great guy. Wow. Have you seen the thing called the eBussy yet? It looks kind of like a, it's a German thing. It looks sort of like a VW Bus. No. But it's modular. It's an electric thing. No.
10:50
So, I mean, i- it's cool enough. Go look, a l- bunch of renderings. 20 different versions of it. Show links please. But one of the cool things that they were talking about was having a battery exchange program.
11:01
I'm like, "Huh." Huh. We, I've heard of that. Are there other... There's no co- there's no companies that are doing that yet? There are actually. They're working very hard on swappable battery packs in vehicles. Right.
11:09
So that's what this thing has. Yep. It has three different trays in it. Yep, nice. And you can load one, two, or three trays up with however many batteries you want. It's genius. Yeah.
11:17
It's sort of like our, uh, modular Grin system in that way. I just thought it was cool they had the, you know, if you need more range, rent a battery kind of thing. Probably- Makes sense...
11:28
probably heard our podcast and got the idea from me. Probably. I'm guessing. Sons of bitches. Soon. No res- I, nobody, no respect. No respect. We'll have to tell you. [laughs] Yeah, yeah. You c- yeah.
11:38
Always have a tie on now these days. My, uh, my, my friend from North Carolina said, or, uh- California... California said he was going to a pool that weekend, and I'm like, "You better do a triple Lindy." Yeah.
11:47
He's like, "What are you talking about?" And I sent him the link, and he's like, "Oh, for sure." [bell ringing] Early hill. It's, it's the top of the hill. Yeah. Well- The Clash had it o- on earlier, too. [laughs] So.
12:01
It, whatever that lyric in that song is- Yeah, during-... it sounds like top of the hill. Yep. And- There's a cowbell, and during Clampdown- Clampdown...
12:08
I thought it was gonna, I thought it was 9:00 in the morning on a different Wednesday. We, uh, we're visiting our n- our closest brewery tonight. We're visiting our, uh, our neighbor Tim at Black Husky.
12:19
Well, at least buy beer. Original Pale Ale Pale Ale. That's a big beer. For real. 6.8%. You know, it's funny, it's 6.8 is a pale ale, and, and Tim is always like, "Yeah, I, I don't like, you know,
12:31
I, I don't like light beers." That's what Blatz is for. 6.8 is a pale? But then right at seven or so, doesn't it switch over to imperial then? Right.
12:39
Well, yeah, I mean, he makes- So this is as, as big of a pale as you can get... yeah, this is as big as a pale ale as you're gonna get. Yeah, it's, it's a delicious pale ale.
12:46
It's pretty much an IPA, is I believe their logo. It is tasty. It is very tasty, and- Thanks for not getting the spruce, by the way... um, I can't do the spruce. Tim, I love you, but the spruce just doesn't work for me.
12:58
No, you can't- It's all good... you can't love every beer out there. Right. Right, you can't. It's hard. But- You can, you can try... you can try. [laughs] Damn this. The struggle's real, man.
13:05
[laughs] The struggle's real. I will grudge drink that. [laughs] So do you guys, uh, follow All Hail The Black Market- Oh, yes... at all regularly? Occasionally. I, yeah, I'm not a f- regular check it.
13:20
I get a link to it a lot- More s-... but I'm like, "Eh." More in the past than in the current, I want to say...
13:23
I guess I've just been, he's been, I'd, I've been following for a long time, and just the last few weeks worth of stuff has been pretty good, so I just thought I'd sort of say, "If you haven't checked out All Hail The Black Market, go check out All Hail The Black Market."
13:37
Yes. Sort of a, a pimp there for Steve. Hell yeah. Yeah. I think, uh- I get the- Oh, okay. Here's something... I get, I get, I get, you know, I mean, how the world works, you get influx of everything,
13:52
and some things kinda just wash past you. So somewhat related to this is that we talked about Steve briefly last week when we were talk- or maybe a couple weeks, whenever we were talking to Chewy, and, uh,
14:04
Chewy got a pod- Ch- Chewy got a rig. Did he now? He got a rig, man. Yeah, man. He got a podcasting rig. Is he run- And I just thought- Is he powered by an electric bike, hey Chewy?
14:13
N- no, but, m- uh, I have more about that. But- Ah, ss-... uh, point being that, that Chewy can now do an interview with Steve-O Knievel from All Hail The Black Market- Right... because they're, they're chummy. Yeah.
14:25
And I think that's gonna be cool. Um, and plus, uh, today we worked out a way for Chewy to basically be a remote host of our show every now and again, and it will- Ooh...
14:35
it will sound like he's in our room, but he will be in his- Studio?... dungeon garage studio, and it'll be awesome. Right on. Right the hell on. Nice. It's not gonna be the same as having somebody call in on the phone.
14:45
Yeah. It's gonna be like it's full on. He'll be like sitting next to us. Because he has the gizmo, and he has a computer, and he has an internet connection. We better coordinate- He can do that...
14:52
we better cross-coordinate beers then. Yeah, that's what I was gonna say. Yeah. Because the top of the hill- Yeah, I mean, he-...
14:56
he can't be digressing from our top of the hill, 'cause then he means he's climbing a different hill. Right. It's not that hilly there in Rochester. But he can't get... Here's the problem.
15:05
He can't get the popcorn if he's just doing it remotely. Oh, he'll have popcorn. Oh, he'll come back over. Oh, he needs popcorn. He needs popcorn. Yeah. Yeah, he's gotta have popcorn.
15:12
His wife's gonna have to- Don't rely on that Trader Joe's, because that'll just... Yeah, yeah. So I don't, I- That, that'll just, you know, pkk, pkk. Yeah. That's a Band-Aid. Yeah. You need the real shit. Pickles. Yeah.
15:23
Um, I, I don't think he has actually a name for a show yet, but he's got a lot of ideas, so I, I think- Yeah. Why not Chewy Bacca?... w- you'll start... Yeah, you'll, you'll hear some stuff from, from Ron
15:34
at some point in the not too distant future. Dig. Hmm. Wild cyclist. Oh, I put all my crap back on my deck after refinishing it. That was exciting. Hmm. Whoa. I should've waited till- COVID goals... tomorrow- [laughs]...
15:49
because it's supposed to start cooling off really nice the next week or so. Oh, it'll be beautiful to sit out there while it's doing that. Yeah, while it's back. I was able- It'll be, it'll be Malaysian... I was able to
16:00
do a little television upgrading. Oh. It worked out very well. Boom, changed the one in bedroom. Bedroom goes into den, my- Study hall? Well, yeah, pretty much, but it works out nicely.
16:14
Now all my gaming shit is in one room with great... Oh, yeah. Yeah. NES, I was playing Tiger Woods 2010. [laughs] Nice. 'Cause that's the one I remember how to play, and I got it for like $1 at GameStop.
16:31
[laughs] So- I'm like, I'm like, "Ooh." That's- This is how I'm spending half of my day. [laughs] I, I don't know, is it like upgrade TV time?
16:38
'Cause it's, it hasn't been that long since I upgraded mine, so- Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, since we're home more, it makes sense to have it. Yeah. And if you, if you- In a pouring storm, man...
16:46
and if you're Zwifting, you know, a bigger TV means more, more Zwiftable area. I was really- What's Zwift? Oh, well, yeah, you ride outside all the time. Right. But what if you're inside on your trainer? Why?
16:57
[laughs] Some people like that. I don't know, a agoraph- Yeah, those people are wrong. [laughs] Is it agoraphobia? Yeah. Well, they're just different. Is it agoraphobia? Uh- Maybe. Yeah. I don't know.
17:08
I, I just can't fathom- I'm, I'm trying to go back to-... sitting out, even sitting... Like, I have a coworker who has the, uh-... old Charlie Brown specials when I was-... what's the fancy Pelotrone or- Pela- Peloton?
17:16
... Peloton, and she's like, "I bought it because I thought I would, like, really enjoy it, and now it holds my clothes." Well, you know, if you put it out on your deck, and it's really s- nice outside- Yeah...
17:25
and you can't leave your apartment 'cause you're locked down for COVID, and you're on the women's pro cycling team, and you're racing, it might be kinda cool. And you spent $2,000 on a Peloton- Yeah...
17:35
that you can't ride anywhere? Well, you ride. If you're spending that kind of money- Virtually... you should be able to do, like, also get a bike. It's like b- okay, here it is.
17:40
It's like being on an electric bike, only better, because you're not actually going anywhere at all. Yeah. My old roommate- But you're working your ass off...
17:47
my old roommate had one of the- It, it's, like, even better than riding a real bike... had one of the, uh, the pre ones. What? Who are you? [laughs] Who the fuck replaced Greg with some Greg imposter? Sven imposter.
17:58
Sven imposter. It, it was, it was bananas, because it was before the one with the big commercials. It was, like, the one generation before that, but it was still
18:09
tablet form and, uh, you know, like, and, uh, probably Google Maps or whatever mapping system- Mm-hmm... and whatever. But you... Yeah, it was, you're riding in, you know, this terrain in, in Spain now.
18:25
Ding, da-ding-ding, da-ding. The terrain in Spain. The terrain that's mainly in Spain is in the rain Well, you know what? Sorry. I am a musical fruit.
18:34
[laughs] The more I eat, the more I toot or toot the more- A- a- and I feel, and let's have beans for every meal It's a good meal. [smacks lips] I, I put this link in, which I... Did you...
18:42
Either of you guys check this thing out? Mm-hmm. The Z-Triton? I did not. I was trying to figure out the pricing on it. It's a, it's, it's a bike. It's a boat. It's, it's got- It's a bike... it can float.
18:54
It's got two 250-watt electric motors [laughs] on it. It's a camper that you can ride as a bike or float as a boat. So it's either 100 euros or 4,000 euros. I don't think it's 100 euros.
19:05
I mean, that might be a- I'm gonna guess it's more the 4,000 euros. That might be the- Well, yeah, but I'm just- Oh, yeah...
19:08
the way I was reading it, I, I didn't read it that- Plus, you know what the coolest thing- Whoa... about it is? It's, like, in Gulf Porsche colors. It's in the, the light- Oh, this thing's been around a while.
19:18
I think I've seen it... yeah, I know. I, I just- I've s- I've seen it before. I'm just like, "Oh, it's cool"... Life aquatic with Steve Zissou.
19:21
I don't have, I don't have anything else to talk about, and this thing's pretty cool. Plus, the E-Busie thing. That, that was my contribution. The E-Busie thing sounds really cool.
19:29
Hey, here's something Tony didn't put down this week. I did put a thing in there, don't I, Tony? Things we dig, or a to-be-determined moniker. Oh, I forgot. Uh, JK has one.
19:39
He twee- Yeah, I think he just chirped it out last week, but- Yeah, yeah. New, new speaker, new speaker. 'Cause, like, apparently- Ah, things we dig... the world of Boombotix is gone bye-bye. That's all right.
19:51
You've killed- If-... how many of them? Oh, man, I gotta... I, uh, I do have a- You got two dead ones at home? Yeah, I... But you can't get rid of them. It's like I have this weird- Well, when you... Yeah...
19:59
weird speaker cemetery going there... if they last a good, solid year of use, you know, you can beat the crap out of them. And they have... They're, they're great looking. Yeah, yeah. They're cool.
20:05
They're effective as hell. Uh, you even rep- Tony even replaced a, uh- I just like the clip... the charging port or something [laughs] on one of them. Actually, I turned...
20:11
Uh, two years ago I turned one into a, uh, a video, um... I'm sorry, a visual theremin. [laughs] It was light activated. That probably voided the warranty. [laughs] Oh, I cut the shit out of this thing.
20:24
I added a, uh, Redstick Adrino to it, and then a light sensor. So as people rode their bikes at me during the River West 24, it got loud.
20:32
It did, like an ad- Like, if you're familiar with a theremin, as you move your hands closer and further away from it, it changes the pitch of the sound. This does it with light. Nice. Turned out pretty badass.
20:43
I don't know that I saw that thing. Yeah. In fact, I'm sure I haven't. Or, or speaking of light- Trails... yeah, the, the r- the Redstick Adrinos, if you've never seen them, they are basically a stick of gum computer.
20:55
They're fascinating, and they're fun as hell to play with. Come on. [laughs] J- JK's throwing his, uh- JK's breaking shit. So what kind of speaker is it that we- It's an X or EcoX Gear- Oh... something, something.
21:09
Costco. It's a Costco. It's a $50. The thing is- It's... For, for the price, it's pretty freaking good. I've- It- I mean, we, we were using it all our W24 roll...
21:18
it has- I don't think the- It has a weird lighting system. Not- Oh, there we go. Boy. Come on. If this was just a video, everybody would be amazed. Yeah. But it's not. But it's not snot. S- It is not.
21:33
It is one of these things that is just... [rock music plays] There we go. See how it goes? I see the lights. It flashes to the beats, people, to the beat. Uh.
21:55
Wow. It- Okay... I, I bet you can tell how good that sounds to me- Right?... through the magic of the internet. You have to. We're gonna see what happens. Th- That was given to you by Acid King.
22:05
That was a good tune, too. Drive fast, take- Is it more than 11 minutes long? It's about there. [laughs] Yeah, 'cause there- Acid King is there. Yeah. Drive fast, take, take chances. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And yes, SKS.
22:17
Well, yeah, I just kinda had to come up with it quick because I forgot to write it down, but- Yeah... mine is this Peak Designs Everyday Backpack over here that I always carry. Well, at least to work. Oh.
22:28
It's got my computer. It's got all my stuff. It's got my- It's pretty, it's a pretty badass bag. It... They do a really good job. I don't even carry them in the store. I...
22:34
Actually, I think they do have dealers, but you probably have to, you know, be a millionaire or something to, to stock it.
22:40
But they're really nice, and they got a new version two of it, uh, which is what made me think of it, so. Yeah. I would say- [laughs]...
22:46
by cracky if you want to carry a camera or you want to, uh, carry other stuff, it's very, um, configurable. Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. Mr. Katter. It's the Katter.
22:57
Tony, Tony, Tony, Tony's got [laughs] his pants in the air. It's the Katter time. Something glorious happened- Little Eddie got a joke to tell... during the River West 24, and that is that Donna brought back me my bike.
23:09
Your back? My bike. Your j- My bike... ja- back? It's a belt drive bike. Bike. So my- It... Wait... my long lost first ever purchased belt drive bike is back in the fold. Belt back. Tell the story. Belt back.
23:24
I- What it, what it... It's a Soho of some description. It's a Trek Soho prototype that I sold. I'm using air quotes for the people that can't see me. That's all right.
23:35
Sold to my friend Donna, I believe it was, like, seven years ago. And after realizing that Donna has yet to pay me for it, decided she didn't need it and gave it back. Oh. So it's seven years- Donna... of free bike use.
23:50
It was seven years- Oh... of free bike use. Donna. It's more like four probably. Probably. Yeah. Or her, it's probably, like, eight rides. But- That, that said, it came back in- God, there's so much math going on...
24:00
not that great of a shape... it, it wasn't... You know, I mean, it... The fenders are shot. Other than that, big deal. That's, that's minor. The bike rides great. It's really... I'd forgotten how much I loved it.
24:09
I ki- I don't know why I sold it in the first place. Other than that, I had no belt drive. Well, but you didn't sell it. Well, I didn't sell it actually. [laughs] So you got that going for you.
24:17
But I got my belt drive, my other belt drive [laughs] back. I was kinda surprised, uh, 'cause we, you, you got it on Friday night, and Saturday morning when- Oh, yeah... I came over you already had it ready to go.
24:26
[laughs] I was like, I'm like- I'm like, "What?"... I got up in the morning, I'm like, "Hey, that bike needs a tube and some air." I'm like, "I have beer." And fixed this and that. "Let's just ride this."
24:33
And the brakes were kinda funky. They worked. The fender was all goofy. Yeah, it, it-...
24:37
a couple of minutes of bending stuff back into place, and I took it for a little test ride, and I'm like, "I remember why I like this bike." Instantly, I'm like, "This is a fun freaking bike."
24:46
Plus, it, it comes in with fenders and pedals at 21 pounds. Yeah. What about the kickstand? Well, it has the, it has- Kickstand? Does it have a kickstand? No, it doesn't have a kickstand. Okay.
24:55
That's only civilized bikes. It's a single speed bike. You can throw it on the ground. Gate, and you're shooting. You don't really need a kickstand.
24:59
[laughs] But it has the, we were talking about this last week, the old school Gates belt drive system where- Yeah, the original Gates belt drive... it doesn't have the center ridge.
25:09
But on, on the- And for some reason it works... well, for commuting, when you're not really grumping- Right... up a hill, a single speed, I think it's great for commuting. Yeah.
25:17
But the new, uh, obviously, well, it's not that new anymore, the center- The center track is way better... the center track is the shiznizzle. Way better. Way, way, way better. Frizzile, my peoples. Pizzles. Uh,
25:30
I don't know what else we got. That's about it. How about our three minutes of pick sexy? Oh, the, uh- What is pick sexy? I'll pick sexy this week... the, the UK. Did you see the...
25:37
Apparently they're gonna, like, you can sign up and get 50 bucks- Oh... if you're in the United Kingdom to- Oh, 50 pounds. That's more like 75 bucks or something. Yeah, yeah. That's a lot more money. Whatever.
25:47
No, it's always fucking around the same goddamn shit. But whatever. [laughs] This is the link. They're giving, this is, they're- This is a link on the site, folks... they're th- Yeah... they're throwing some money.
25:56
If you live in the UK and listen to this somehow, some way, sign up for it. They're gonna send 50 pound to you. To get your bike, uh, pimped out. Yeah. Get a tuneup on it. Yeah. In case you need a new tube or some tires.
26:07
You know, just, just address- That's cool... a- a- address some bike use. Yeah, that's cool. I mean, you could probably, you know, I don't know if they're gonna go gift card style or- All right Maybe give you a Visa-...

26:21
And he also announced last week that he's too fat, so he needs to lose weight. Well, this is why. Yeah. He has, the whole country now has to lose weight. I mean, I'm not, I'm not endorsing that. Fucking yeah.
26:31
[laughs] Jesus. I, this 50 pound thing is fine. Fucking Jesus. Well, yeah. The, well, oh yeah, yeah. Their, that's their stimulus package. [laughs] Well, I would take a $50 gift card right now. No shit. I would too.
26:42
Right? Yeah. 'Cause, you know. Yeah. That's the way it goes. As long as it's at Walmart or something. I'd like, I'd, I'd l- I'd like my unemployment insurance anytime now. Oh, good luck with that. Yeah, I know.
26:52
You're gonna be waiting, but then you'll get a big fat stack. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. You'll definitely notice the difference between me on one day- The next [laughs]... versus the day that I get that one.
27:01
So when we go, when we go over to, uh, Foundation, you'll be buying the first beer. Oh, it'll, no, no. [laughs] It'll, it would be markedly, I, you know. I will have new clothes. I will have a new shoes.
27:11
I will have- I will look, yes, I will look a very fancy boy. Fancy boy. [laughs] All right. Well, we did it again. Thanks very much for listening. Thanks for the therapy. The Shorty McShorty.
