- 0:01Prepare. It is going to be a crazy couple
- 0:05weeks, a crazy month in the silver and gold markets.
- 0:08We got a lot going on and we have big reasons, massive news
- 0:13stories which can give us optimism about the future of the
- 0:17gold and silver price. Let's start with our friend Tavi
- 0:21Costa, right? The smartest guy in the room.
- 0:24I refer to him quite often guys. He brought up some good points.
- 0:28The past few weeks have been especially significant for
- 0:31precious metals investors. The long-awaited ripple effects
- 0:36of rising gold prices are finally becoming evident in
- 0:40silver. Silver is now consistently
- 0:44outperforming gold, miners are outpacing the metals themselves,
- 0:47and junior companies are showing greater resilience than their
- 0:50senior counterparts. I've got a chart that we're
- 0:53going to look at right now. That to me was absolutely
- 0:56astounding. Another one from Tavi Costa.
- 1:01I'll just read briefly what he says here.
- 1:03Gold is rising as the market begins to price.
- 1:05In the likelihood of a Fed forced to cut rates further
- 1:09despite persistent inflation, right?
- 1:12Stagflation. the Fed is going to have to cut rates in an
- 1:15environment where we already have inflation.
- 1:19We've talked about this ad nauseam.
- 1:21Could send the inflation rates through the roof.
- 1:23Be prepared. That's critical.
- 1:26That's critical for silver and gold investors.
- 1:28Inflation will rule the day in 2025 in regards to how it
- 1:34impacts the gold and silver prices.
- 1:37Uh oh, hold on here guys. Here we go.
- 1:42OK, now we're back. I think you can now let me
- 1:45double check here, make sure we're live, which we are.
- 1:49And yes, you can see this. OK, This is the important thing
- 1:54that I wanted to show you. This is the gold and silver
- 1:57chart from Tavi Costa. There's like three things on
- 2:01here that are absolutely, you're going to be rattled after you
- 2:05see this. OK, so the blue line is the
- 2:09silver price. We all know in 1980 it got to
- 2:1250. We all know in 2011 it got to
- 2:1550. The yellow line is the gold
- 2:17price. Number one, look how silver just
- 2:21completely outperforms gold during these bull markets.
- 2:25Did it into in 1980, did it again in 2011.
- 2:28Here we are now. So you have to realize, right,
- 2:33gold right now is 44% above its 2011 highs.
- 2:39Silver is 29% below. Still, this shows us just how
- 2:44crazy of a move that we can have in the silver price because
- 2:48remember, look back here, the blue line shot way, way higher
- 2:53If that were to happen again, here's 50.
- 2:56Let's draw on the chart here cuz this is exciting.
- 2:59Here's $50 silver OK, kind of circled it.
- 3:04I don't know what that looks like a little Dutch wooden shoe
- 3:07nonetheless, there's $50 silver blue line, $50 silver.
- 3:12Look at silver way down here. Look how gold, right look how
- 3:16silver in the past is way outperformed.
- 3:19That would mean oops, that would mean silver going like well, it
- 3:26goes off the screen basically we'll draw an arrow.
- 3:28But two more things to think about when we look at this
- 3:31chart, OK, in in 2011, in 1980, there were things were a little
- 3:39bit different then, OK, number one, OK, China and India were
- 3:45not players and as big a players as they are now in 1980, China,
- 3:49no offense, India, no offense, their economies were minuscule.
- 3:53Even in 2011, China and India's economies were nowhere near as
- 3:58big as they are now. And those are the driving forces
- 4:02in particular where we know for gold, but think about silver as
- 4:06well. Think about how things performed
- 4:08in those years, 2011, 1980 without the benefit for silver
- 4:13in particular of having China in and India being these massive
- 4:18economies. All right, we're going to talk
- 4:20about Russia a little bit later in this video.
- 4:23That is different. The other thing is back in those
- 4:25time periods. Let me get you back here and say
- 4:28hello. Back in those time periods where
- 4:30we had silver shoot up to $50, way outperform gold, we also
- 4:35didn't have this massive imbalance of supply and demand,
- 4:40the silver deficit. Shore silver was being used in
- 4:43electronic shore silver was being used in medical equipment
- 4:47and solar panels, but nothing, there were no electric cars back
- 4:50then. Think about it, there was a
- 4:52fraction of the silver panels being being built.
- 4:55So #1 China and India's economies are bigger, which are
- 4:59demanding more silver. But #2 from a technology
- 5:03perspective, we have even more silver being demanded right now.
- 5:08What about Citibank? Oh man, there's so much going
- 5:11on, guys. The world's biggest bank
- 5:15Citibank. Where are we here?
- 5:17OK here we go. This comes from the metal and
- 5:19minor sub stack City stays bullish on gold.
- 5:23They they hike the three month outlook for the gold price to
- 5:272800 dollars. Wait till you hear what they say
- 5:29about silver. There's the chart of gold.
- 5:32We love that there's image not found city.
- 5:36Remember guys, Citibank has like 200 and 4200.
- 5:39They're over 200,000 employees. They're they're one of the big
- 5:42guys. Their research has raised the
- 5:44three months month forecast for gold prices in green.
- 5:48The bank upgraded the three month gold price to $2800 per oz
- 5:53from 2700 previously, adding that it's 6:00 to 12:00
- 5:57forecast. 12 month forecast is $3000.
- 6:01It revised. OK, here we go.
- 6:03Silver, remember that chart we just looked at?
- 6:07Let me go back very quickly. This is so important.
- 6:10Hold on here. All right, We got you up there,
- 6:14guys. Get rid of that just one more
- 6:17time. Look at this chart and realize
- 6:19where silver is right now. Remember how silver outshot gold
- 6:24in both of those previous bull markets?
- 6:26Again, we're talking like 80 to do the same thing.
- 6:30We're talking eighty $9100 silver.
- 6:33And what is City telling us? They revised their 6 to 12 month
- 6:36forecast for silver prices 6 to 12 months upward to $40 per oz
- 6:43from $38 per oz. They are way underestimated
- 6:46estimating, but hey, we'll, we'll be glad to point that out
- 6:49to them here in the coming 6 to 12 months.
- 6:52Won't we buy basement dwellers? And by the way, well, hold on
- 6:55here. Despite weakening China retail
- 6:58physical demand and rising US interest rates since the Fed cut
- 7:0350 basis points and payrolls beat last month, they they say
- 7:07we know that gold and silver have performed extremely well in
- 7:12that environment that I just read.
- 7:14OK, guys, supposedly some weakening demand from China.
- 7:18US interest rates are doing well.
- 7:20The dollar's up, The payroll numbers were good.
- 7:23Gold and silver are doing well in the face of massive
- 7:27adversity. I'm going to show you some
- 7:29charts that are going to point that out.
- 7:31But first, you have something very important to cover.
- 7:34My basement dweller friends, the most important thing, and that
- 7:38is thank you for choosing to join us here in the basement
- 7:42today. We love to talk about silver,
- 7:44gold, platinum, group metals. There's a lot of important
- 7:48people here in this live stream, but we have one very special
- 7:51guest and that is you. So thank you.
- 7:53Please subscribe to the channel. We still have the free
- 7:56subscription special going on. Don't forget to give this a
- 8:01thumbs up that helps get the word out to more and more people
- 8:03in super chat super thanks PayPal donations, anything like
- 8:06that. They are never expected, but
- 8:09always, always appreciated. All right, man, we got so OK,
- 8:13let's go look at this. So much going on in the world of
- 8:17gold and silver. This, my friends, is the dollar
- 8:21index, the DXY. OK, one O 4.
- 8:26This should be killing the price and that's what City said and
- 8:30this has always been the case. We are in a different world.
- 8:34Here's a one month chart of the dollar index.
- 8:37We've gone from 100 all the way to one O 4.
- 8:41That is a massive, massive move. And why is that so important,
- 8:46right? Because that demonstrates that
- 8:49gold is seeing the world, seeing the market and from a different
- 8:54perspective than it had just a short year or two ago, a year
- 8:59ago. I got news for you guys, right?
- 9:01The reality is if we'd had this kind of move, look at my yellow
- 9:04pointer, OK, from 100 all the way to one O 4, we would have
- 9:10probably a 10% drop in the price of gold and gosh, probably 15 or
- 9:1520% in the price of silver. That has not happened in
- 9:20actually the reverse happened, which is a big, big deal and big
- 9:26news for those of us that invest in the precious metals.
- 9:30Now, the next thing that we can look at, I mean gold and silver,
- 9:33look at me. Look at me for a second.
- 9:35I'm going to tell you something right now.
- 9:37Gold and silver are the warriors, the ultimate ninja
- 9:42warriors, whatever you want to call them, right in the face of
- 9:45a strong dollar. But it's not just that, because
- 9:48we see this also demonstrated in the 10 year bond yield when the
- 9:52when and think about it, the Fed cut interest rates, what, a
- 9:55month ago? And they're going to they're
- 9:57going to have another meeting here like the day after the
- 10:00election. But the Fed cut interest rates a
- 10:02month ago, right? That was good for gold and
- 10:05silver supposedly. But since that time, this is
- 10:09crazy. What is going on out there right
- 10:12now? Since that time, this is the 10
- 10:14year bond yield. Look in the upper left corner,
- 10:17the CB, the Chicago Board of option or whatever that stands
- 10:21for anyway, interest rate on a 10 year bond.
- 10:25All right, that's three months. Here's one month.
- 10:28Look at that interest rate has gone up and up and up.
- 10:31That should be killing the gold price and the silver price, but
- 10:36it's not in that is further, further demonstration to us that
- 10:42gold and silver have indeed entered into a new paradigm, a
- 10:45new world. They're throwing out the old
- 10:48relation. They broke up.
- 10:51Never been through a breakup. Yeah, we all have, right.
- 10:54Gold and silver have broken up with the dollar.
- 10:57Gold and silver have broken up their relationship with the 10
- 11:01year bond yield. Not that it's not going to have
- 11:03some impact, but not like before, kind of like, you know,
- 11:07we're not going to date anymore. We're just going to be friends.
- 11:11That just came to me. That's pretty darn good.
- 11:13Anybody out there on YouTube can use it.
- 11:15Just give me credit. Please look at this.
- 11:18OK, This was about one month ago, the 10 year bond yield 3.6,
- 11:23today 4.3. That is a massive, massive move
- 11:29in bond yields and that happened.
- 11:31Think about this. The rates went up, right?
- 11:35In an environment where the Fed is trying to push rates down,
- 11:38the Fed is lose. Is, is the Fed losing control of
- 11:41the interest rates? It sure feels that way.
- 11:44Is the market taking over, right?
- 11:47Higher interest rates, higher gold.
- 11:49You know, one thing for sure, the Fed, the Federal Reserve and
- 11:53the government hate gold and silver.
- 11:55They do not at all like what's going on.
- 11:58Let's go see what what we got. We got the big battle, the
- 12:02battle Royale right now for silver.
- 12:05Let's focus in on silver, $32.50 support in the silver price.
- 12:11That's the battle Royale, the main event.
- 12:13It's going on right now. Thank you, Jasper, for the
- 12:18believe that's Danish currency. Thank you.
- 12:20Precious metals exchange in Saint Petersburg.
- 12:22Yes, we're going to talk about Russia later because there's
- 12:25more news coming out about Russia.
- 12:27The biggest silver story in the history of the universe.
- 12:31We're going to get to that. Thank you, Jasper.
- 12:33We have a cat named Jasper. I can't help but think of that
- 12:35when I see your name. Thank you.
- 12:38Appreciate it now. Oh, yeah. 3250 battle Royale.
- 12:43Big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big
- 12:47news. That's the big story in the
- 12:51silver market. So let's go out and see what
- 12:53Jesse's saying. Jesse Colombo says here's what's
- 12:57happening in silver. It experienced a successful
- 13:00breakout last Friday, right? What was that, 12 day or no,
- 13:03nine days ago, Which is still intact.
- 13:07That's what's critical, guys. It's still intact because it's
- 13:11above 3250 support. OK?
- 13:15Jesse's like a rising star in the precious metal sector.
- 13:18This guy's getting a lot of attention and he's got some very
- 13:21insightful things to say. It's now consolidating and
- 13:25forming a bull flag. So we're going to look at that
- 13:27in one second. Consolidations, remember, I'm
- 13:30going to highlight this. Listen, silver investors, this
- 13:33is critical for us to remember what color you want.
- 13:36Did I hear purple? Let's do purple.
- 13:39What the heck? Consolidations.
- 13:42That means the price kind of settling in for a little bit of
- 13:46consolidation are normal after a 15% surge.
- 13:53Let's look at the let's look at the ball flag.
- 13:55What do you say, basement dwellers?
- 13:57So again, well, you know we love our crayons here in the basement
- 14:02for the umpteenth time, guys, what I see is an upside down, a
- 14:07shoulder head shoulder. OK.
- 14:12That's breaks out to the upward side which we had, OK.
- 14:16Now what he's pointing out, right, we broke through that
- 14:20impossible level. We can't talk about that enough,
- 14:23is that this is now a bull flag. It looks like a flag, see that
- 14:28like a straight up and then it consolidated within those two
- 14:31lines. And what we eventually want to
- 14:33see, and I think what we will see, is this on the way to see
- 14:40if I can draw this for us because everybody's talking
- 14:44about guess what, I'm drawing $50 silver.
- 14:55Thank you Jesse man, the guy puts out some great work we
- 15:00appreciate and he's got a a sub stack called the bubble bubble
- 15:03something you can check that out.
- 15:04So that's what's going on with the silver.
- 15:07What about is the dollar? Thank you, Don.
- 15:09Hey Tailene, tailene, tailene and you are beautiful Tailene.
- 15:13We know that to be the fact. Think we got 700 basement
- 15:15dwellers. Thank you, guys.
- 15:17OK, thank you for choosing to be part of this community.
- 15:20You belong. You're welcome here.
- 15:22Subscribe and then you can leave comments.
- 15:24You can make friends. Who doesn't want to be part of a
- 15:26group? And we're a group that shares a
- 15:29common joy, a common love. Silver and gold.
- 15:32You want to see some silver? I love silver here.
- 15:35You want to see and hear here? See silver, right?
- 15:39These are three old silver dollars.
- 15:43That's not Jingle Bells. That's not Rudolph and the
- 15:46Reindeer coming landed. No, that's the sound of silver.
- 15:48Now, gold is the dollar, trash is the dollar crashing.
- 15:58Look at this. This came from Lawrence Leopard.
- 16:00I believe he has an MBA from Harvard, a guy that I follow
- 16:04very closely. And there's our $50 silver.
- 16:08Can't forget about that. Here we go, Lawrence Leppard,
- 16:12fix the money, fix the world. He says the dollar is, and we
- 16:16don't use curse words. I'll let you read that.
- 16:19Look at this chart of the dollar versus gold, guys.
- 16:23And I was looking at this. I'm like, how are they measuring
- 16:26this? This starts back in 1970, All
- 16:29right, That's the year I was born.
- 16:31What year were you born? If you want, put it in the
- 16:33comments section. We all, you know, hey, doesn't
- 16:36matter what year we were born and we're all together right now
- 16:38sharing this time together, which is crazy to think about
- 16:41cause any of you were remotely even as old as I was even in
- 16:461990 when I was 20 years old, If you'd have told me that we could
- 16:50get together like this virtually, I would have thought
- 16:52it was a science fiction movie, but it's not.
- 16:54We're doing it nonetheless 1970 all the way through today.
- 16:59This is the dollar versus gold. It's all about getting more
- 17:03gold. OK.
- 17:04And what does this I looked and I'm like, how does this chart
- 17:07work? This is the gold price on the
- 17:10right hand side, OK. But it's like it's it's it's
- 17:14flipped, right? It starts at 100 and goes down
- 17:16to the dollar back then was so strong you could get this is how
- 17:20many dollars it takes to get an ounce of gold.
- 17:22And as you can see, it has been crashing, right?
- 17:25We know, we know that story that the dollar right versus gold
- 17:31since 1971, since President Nixon took us off the gold
- 17:35standard. Temporarily.
- 17:38Temporarily. Yeah, really.
- 17:41Temporarily. Maybe President Nixon was more
- 17:46wise than we thought. He knew it wouldn't last
- 17:48forever. Temporary, right?
- 17:50Is it another four or five years?
- 17:52Another one year? Another one month?
- 17:54Who knows? The world is moving to our goal.
- 17:57But we know that since Nixon took us off the gold standard,
- 18:02the dollar has lost 9899% of its value against gold, right?
- 18:08And I don't know what the number is with silver, I'm not going to
- 18:11lie to you, but it's lost a lot of its value against silver as
- 18:14well. Silver and gold are like kissing
- 18:16cousins or whatever. You want to thank brothers and
- 18:20sisters. I don't know.
- 18:22All right, guys, the biggest news story ever, right, ever
- 18:27possibly in the history of silver is what's going on with
- 18:31Russia. We're going to talk, we're going
- 18:33to fly through this, but it's like so many reasons why we put
- 18:37this all together and it's big, big, big news for the silver
- 18:42price. Before we do that, let's go out
- 18:44and check on the gold and silver price.
- 18:47We're going to go to channel sponsor pin backs and see look
- 18:50at that gold. I was I looked this morning.
- 18:53Honestly, I know I'm like I'm a guy that runs a gold and silver.
- 18:55I'm like I knew gold was like 27.
- 18:58I thought maybe 25. No, the Spot gold price is darn
- 19:02near close to this 2750 dollars OK, silver 3376.
- 19:12Thank you, thank you and thank you to Pembex guys.
- 19:15Pembex their sponsorship makes this possible.
- 19:19Our club, our get together, our live stream Pembex is an online
- 19:22bullion dealer now for you. What that means is if you want
- 19:25to buy gold, silver or platinum group metals and if by chance,
- 19:29right, you want to get them from a company that you trust, right,
- 19:33that has a great reputation. And if by chance you want a
- 19:37great selection and if only by chance you want to get the ultra
- 19:43competitive pricing advantage, which means for you, what that
- 19:48means for you you is that you get more metal for your money,
- 19:53right? I always joke around, but it's
- 19:55true. I bought like I made six.
- 19:57What to me? But to me, you're probably
- 19:59richer than me, and that's OK. But what to me were big
- 20:02purchases from PMBEX And every time I got a box in the mail
- 20:06from PMBEX, if I compared right the price that I paid.
- 20:11To the other big online bullion dealers, I was able to buy like
- 20:15an ounce or two or three more of silver.
- 20:18So I always knew that my box from Pembex weighed a little bit
- 20:21more. I got more metal for my money.
- 20:23Thank you, Pembex. You can check them out at Pi MB
- 20:26EX. There it is right there in case
- 20:27you forget, right? They check all the boxes.
- 20:30pembex.com. Let's talk about Russia silver,
- 20:34the biggest story of the year for silver, it affects gold as
- 20:42well, no doubt about it. But really for silver is coming
- 20:47out of these developments with Russia in the bricks.
- 20:49OK, we had a one of our viewers, I do read all the comments and I
- 20:54was reading through last night and then our friend James Real
- 20:58said Russia's making their own, Comex, right?
- 21:01Russia is making their own silver and gold exchange.
- 21:05They're making their own Comex. I love it.
- 21:08And this guy said, waiting for Ron to digest this and make a
- 21:11video. Well, here you go, my friends.
- 21:12And then this guy on the bottom, I can't see it 'cause there's a
- 21:15thing in the way said here we go.
- 21:17Texas is making their own Stock Exchange.
- 21:20I don't know about that. If somebody knows something
- 21:21about what's going on with Texas, let me know.
- 21:23But here's what's going on with Russia.
- 21:26Remember in the 80s, some of you are younger.
- 21:30We got a lot of new people joining us.
- 21:31But in the 80s, man, we were like, we were brainwashed to
- 21:36like fear the Russians. Back then, it was the USSR.
- 21:40You probably likely remember that.
- 21:41But now, I guess we're supposed to fear them again.
- 21:46But when it comes to precious metals, they are doing things,
- 21:49they are making big moves that are going to impact the value,
- 21:53the price of precious metals as we roll through, right, the
- 21:57coming year, the coming two or three years, the coming decade,
- 22:01right? It's no wonder we have people
- 22:03talking about $200 silver. Let's roll through this right
- 22:07now. And we're going to get started
- 22:10with boom. Russia will create wrong one.
- 22:17Here we go. Where was I?
- 22:18Hold on here, here. Yeah.
- 22:20OK. Russia will create a new bricks
- 22:24precious metals exchange to become the key regulator of
- 22:28price. That's from their finance
- 22:30minister. All right, we've covered this a
- 22:33couple days, this particular article, but it we really need
- 22:36to hone in on what is going on here.
- 22:38The creation of a mechanism for trading metals that would be
- 22:42gold and silver within the BRICS countries will lead to the
- 22:45formation of Fair and equitable competition based on exchange
- 22:51principles. Right.
- 22:52What they're saying, what Russia is saying, what China is saying
- 22:56is we're tired of the Unicorn fart dust make believe paper
- 23:00over leveraged nude. Is it nude?
- 23:05No, it's naked. No, we'll call it nude, nude
- 23:07shorting of silver and we're fed up and we're done with it and
- 23:13we're going to base we're going to base the new monetary model
- 23:17on the real price of gold and silver.
- 23:21OK, OK. The finance minister added to
- 23:23quote this will become a key regulator.
- 23:27Remember that song regulator whatever of prices or precious
- 23:31metals. Look at this guys, I can't help.
- 23:34This is Kitco $150,000 gold. Andy Shekman, who's a friend of
- 23:39us here in the basement, he's been on the show several times.
- 23:42We love Andy. President and owner of Miles
- 23:44Franklin told Kitco in a recent interview that the BRICS Summit
- 23:49might hasten a global financial reset.
- 23:52They could see gold revalued up to $150,000 an ounce.
- 24:00Because really guys, if we really want to back, right, we
- 24:04really want to back the monetary system, If we really want to
- 24:07back the, the, the, the, the world, quote UN quote money, we
- 24:12want it to be real. That's what we're talking about.
- 24:15Gold being worth hundreds of thousands.
- 24:16I know it's, it's crazy to think about, but that's the real, if
- 24:21things really distilled down to their real value, remember
- 24:26extras pyramid, right? If everything really distilled
- 24:30down to what is truly the base of all money, silver, gold, we
- 24:33would have $150,000 gold. That's the reality.
- 24:38I know. Oh, my gosh.
- 24:40Lynette Zhang, right? It's talked about like she did
- 24:43the math on silver. We would have $2000 silver.
- 24:47OK, It's it's crazy. It's all based on paper.
- 24:50We're going to come back to Russia.
- 24:51But you know what? We got to do our daily field
- 24:53trip. I almost forgot.
- 24:55I apologize. Guys, hold on here.
- 24:58Let's go quickly. We're moving all over.
- 25:01Oh, here. You know what?
- 25:02I've already got it up. Make sure you guys are on the
- 25:06right screen, which you are. OK.
- 25:09Remember, right, That's that's that, that's nothing, $36
- 25:12trillion. We're not going to spend time
- 25:14there. We are just going to run over
- 25:16quickly. Here we go.
- 25:18The dollar to silver ratio, our daily update, we're now up to
- 25:21$939 per oz, right? That's make believe paper money.
- 25:29We'll update the the our list tomorrow for those of you who
- 25:32are following on that's make believe paper money, the M2
- 25:35money supply 900 and whatever it was 940 probably at this point
- 25:40paper electronic, what make believe Unicorn fart dust Fiat
- 25:46dollars being printed just dollars for each one ounce, $940
- 25:52for each one ounce of silver that's being produced this year.
- 25:55Think about it now that's not a direct relationship.
- 25:57I'm not going to sit here and say silver should be $940.00 an
- 26:00ounce. Now silver should be 2000 an
- 26:03ounce. But none the less we're dealing
- 26:05with reality here. If we were to distill all that
- 26:09paper, all that debt down to its real value, we would have
- 26:13unbelievably high silver and gold prices, right?
- 26:16OK, let's move on here. All right, Here.
- 26:21This this came from Reuters. Hey, thank you.
- 26:26Marcus, €6. What about a mortgage?
- 26:29When the US dollar fails, you buy off your house with a Yeah,
- 26:33You know, Marcus, let me. Let me.
- 26:35I'll address that later. Well, no, I'll address it right
- 26:37now. Marcus had a question.
- 26:38What about a mortgage? When the US dollar fails, you
- 26:41buy off your house with a few oz.
- 26:44This look I have always preached against no debt right?
- 26:47I have zero debt. I hate that I have degree in
- 26:50accounting. I studied money.
- 26:52I work for a BIG4 accounting firm.
- 26:54I know how the system works. My my my thoughts on a mortgage
- 26:58at this point. If you have fixed rate mortgage
- 27:00on a home right? Like a 3% in the US there's a
- 27:04lot of people with 3015 year mortgages at 2 or 3% to 4%.
- 27:09Whatever it is. If it's a fixed rate mortgage, I
- 27:12would never in my life would have thought that I would have
- 27:15said this. But now that I'm 54, I change,
- 27:17OK, If it's a fixed interest rate, not adjustable, I almost
- 27:22would say hold on to it because if the dollar crashes in value,
- 27:26whatever that payment right now is, 2 or 3000 a month at 3%
- 27:31interest could seem like peanuts.
- 27:34That happened to my mom and dad. My mom and dad bought a house
- 27:37that I grew up in, like in 19. This is a great story.
- 27:40This is a great story. Hopefully I answered your
- 27:43question there, my friend. My mom and dad and my mom's
- 27:46probably watching because she's a basement dweller.
- 27:49Hi, mom. Hi.
- 27:52Not just mom, but you too. Yeah, you.
- 27:55Hi, mom. But you.
- 27:56Thank you for being here. This is a great story and this
- 28:00shows you the value of silver and gold and how the dollar can
- 28:04go down to value. My, my mom and dad bought the
- 28:06house that I grew up in, I think when I was one year old, like
- 28:09about 1971, right when Nixon took us off the gold standards.
- 28:13The little house I grew up middle class in Florissant, MO,
- 28:17right? Like a 1200 square foot, you
- 28:20know, beautiful place to Anyway, I don't know what they paid for
- 28:23it. I was like 15,000 or 10,000
- 28:26something, you know, things were cheaper than right And their
- 28:29house payment was like $115.00 a month or $125.00 a month.
- 28:34It was a fixed rate mortgage that they took out in 1971.
- 28:38I remember later like when I was in college, it was, I must have
- 28:42been a 30 year mortgage was like in the 90s.
- 28:45They were like, oh, our house payments only $100 a month,
- 28:48right? That $100, which was a lot of
- 28:51money in 19, 71 because partially because Nixon took us
- 28:56off the gold standard, but also because of, of, of gross
- 28:59devaluation of the dollar. Everything inflated, including
- 29:03my dad's salary, right? So that that $100 a month house
- 29:07payment 1971 twenty years later was like peanuts, peanuts.
- 29:13And that's what you could run into right now if you have a
- 29:16fixed rate mortgage. I am not giving financial
- 29:18advice. We're supposed to be talking
- 29:20about Russia and silver. So let's get back to that.
- 29:23Because remember, guys, Russia, right?
- 29:26We know that they're talking about building their own
- 29:29exchange, OK? And Oh yeah, this is critical.
- 29:35This is critical. What we're talking about is only
- 29:4040 percent, 40% the BRICS countries, 37.
- 29:44I lied. I like to round things up or
- 29:46down depending on how it works to our advantage.
- 29:48But 37% of the world's economy is focused in the BRICS country.
- 29:53The other thing that I didn't know, OK, I didn't know is that
- 29:57China and Russia, they actually have like the lion share of the
- 30:02world's gold refining capacity. There's like, I think 7 refiners
- 30:08that they said in the United States, a few in Europe, in
- 30:11Russia and China have massive gold and I would imagine silver
- 30:15refining capacity as well. Don't forget those reports.
- 30:19What does this tell us? Stunning reports that we saw
- 30:23about six months ago. This is a good reminder from
- 30:26Chinese media, right? Chinese media, Chinese news
- 30:30reports where they were interviewing silver refiners in
- 30:33China who were complaining. They're like, we don't have, we
- 30:36need more silver. We need more silver.
- 30:39I'm going to tell you how that worked out here in a second.
- 30:42In these Chinese refiners they were interviewing were making
- 30:45fun of the United States saying the price of silver.
- 30:48The on these exchanges, the COMEX and the LB, it's a big
- 30:51joke. The price goes up.
- 30:53The price goes down based on what the Federal Reserve says.
- 30:56It's crazy. It doesn't make any sense.
- 30:58So what did the Chinese do? Because you know, there's a
- 31:01shortage of silver in the world. You know what the Chinese are
- 31:05doing? They're going directly to
- 31:07Mexico, directly into Mexico and getting silver or getting silver
- 31:12concentrate I think is the term. It's not quite it's it's they
- 31:16dig the ore out of the ground, they process it.
- 31:19It's called concentrate. And then from concentrate it
- 31:21gets refined into finished, I guess Doray bars or finished
- 31:25product. Anyway, the Chinese are going
- 31:29directly to the mining companies and Mexico and and get in buying
- 31:33the concentrate. Think about it.
- 31:36Think about why would they? And so that's that's never going
- 31:39to the comex. Bye, bye COMEX.
- 31:41Sorry, never going to the LBMA. And on top of that, we and I
- 31:46wish I could pull it up, but I don't have it up.
- 31:48But I'm just going to tell you another critical thing to
- 31:50remember. China's building the biggest
- 31:54port in South America in Peru. OK, Peru, you know, what about
- 31:59Peru? I love people from Peru.
- 32:00I want to visit Peru. But nonetheless, Peru is also
- 32:03one of the world's biggest producers of do you know, do you
- 32:10know silver? Think about it, OK, they're
- 32:14going to be shipping silver concentrate, I guarantee from
- 32:18Peru. All right, back to Russia, back
- 32:20to Russia. All right, So we got the
- 32:21exchange going on. The big new their own Comex, the
- 32:25Romex. The Romex, it's like the
- 32:29Shanghai Gold exchange that the Chinese put together, which is a
- 32:35physical market. OK, Now Russia is going to start
- 32:39the Romex. I think I just made two things
- 32:44up during this for you guys. For us, that's what we're going
- 32:47to call the Russian metals exchange, the Romex until they
- 32:51until they tell us differently. All right, where was I?
- 32:54Here we go. Oh, this is from Reuters.
- 32:56Just to prove to you what's going on, Russia in talks with
- 33:00bricks over precious metals exchange.
- 33:02Oh, there was one thing in here that was critical. 37% Did we
- 33:07see this already? Here we go the bricks.
- 33:12The Romex Precious Metals exchange would rival Western
- 33:16trading platforms such as the London Metals Exchange or the
- 33:21LBMA over in London, England, and would and the and the COMEX
- 33:25and would protect trade from sanctions imposed by Western
- 33:28governments. OK, so that's that put that one
- 33:30to sleep. But wait, there's more.
- 33:32There's more because we also got this news about Russia.
- 33:37We're putting it all together from numismatic moves Russia
- 33:40Central bank to acquire silver reserves.
- 33:44OK, so they put out this big news story, two big news
- 33:49stories. They're going to start their own
- 33:50exchange, the Romex or whatever they're going to call it.
- 33:57At one point they said the Moscow world standard
- 34:00nonetheless, So they're going to start their own exchange.
- 34:03Oh, and oh, we got a little more news for you Western investors,
- 34:07the Russians. Yeah, we're going to start
- 34:10buying silver. Our government is going to start
- 34:13buying silver. OK, here we go.
- 34:17And last year, Russia was the world's eighth largest producer
- 34:21of silver with 40 million oz OK. It is far less important to
- 34:26Russia's economy than the value of its gold, platinum,
- 34:28Palladium. In that sense, it might not make
- 34:30sense for the central bank to acquire silver.
- 34:33Well, but it they're doing it, OK, they are doing it.
- 34:37Here we go. This is the green part.
- 34:39It's what I want to read you for at least 20 years until
- 34:42recently. This why is this Russian
- 34:45government central bank buying silver a big deal?
- 34:48Because they are the 1st right? For at least 20 years until
- 34:52recently, the only precious metal that central banks held
- 34:55was gold. Global central banks in total
- 34:58have been strong That buyers of physical gold for the past
- 35:01several years is one example. Poland, Poland central bank gold
- 35:06now reserves now. Poland central bank gold
- 35:10reserves now far exceed those held by Great Britain.
- 35:15OK, that's still not it. OK, that's still not what I
- 35:18really wanted to read. You guys somewhere buried and I
- 35:23can't find it. Here we go.
- 35:25Here we go. Now I found it.
- 35:27This is critical for us to remember.
- 35:29It's silver, investors. Russia starting the romex.
- 35:33Russia buying gold. Gold, but silver, right?
- 35:37Their central bank In decades past, the United States
- 35:40government and the central banks of India and Mexico held silver
- 35:47as part of their reserves. Thus, the concept of Russia's
- 35:50central bank acquiring silver as a part of its reserve is not
- 35:54new, but it could be spectacularly profitable for the
- 35:59Russian government. Oh, what about you, huh?
- 36:02I almost called you Buttercup. I won't do that.
- 36:04What about you, basement dweller?
- 36:06It could be spectacularly profitable for you as well
- 36:10because they say if this happens, don't be surprised.
- 36:13Surprise, surprise, Sergeant Carter, if the price of silver
- 36:16jumps at least 50% within the next 24 months, who needs to
- 36:21talk to? I think we need to talk to Gomer
- 36:23Pyle. Hold on, let's get Gomer Pyle
- 36:25out. We got to have a little fun, you
- 36:30know, and somebody says I'm a clown.
- 36:32Look, look, I worked for a BIG4 accounting firm.
- 36:35I went to one of the top accounting universities in the
- 36:37world. I studied economics in Eastern
- 36:40Europe. Is the Berlin Wall was falling.
- 36:42OK, I just like to have a little fun.
- 36:44We could sit and talk. So first, you know about let's
- 36:47have a little fun. Let's get going with pile out,
- 36:49huh? There he is.
- 36:50Why was I getting him out now? I forgot.
- 36:52I'll remember his favorite thing to do is to print this toilet
- 36:56paper money. And darn it, there was
- 37:01something. Hold on.
- 37:01Let's go back now. I lost my brain.
- 37:04Somebody help me find my brain. OK.
- 37:07Oh, yeah. Well, that's right.
- 37:09That's be. Let's, let's surprise, surprise,
- 37:11surprise. I joke around and call him Gomer
- 37:14Pyle, but it's really Jerome Powell.
- 37:16And he can be real surprised when the silver price goes up
- 37:2050%. Right.
- 37:23Put him back in his box. All he can do is print money.
- 37:27All right, enough of that. Let's move on to the next one.
- 37:31Oh, yeah. But we don't have to worry about
- 37:34Russia because they're nothing. We don't have to remember.
- 37:38Remember 10 years ago. Remember, I remember.
- 37:42We don't have to worry about China.
- 37:44All they do is make cheap plastic stuff that you buy at
- 37:47the dollar store. How did that work out for us?
- 37:50We don't have to worry about India.
- 37:52They're just a poor country. How did that work out?
- 37:55Right? China, India, Russia are moving
- 37:59on up, baby. And this is what I want to talk
- 38:01to you about very quickly. Let's go here.
- 38:06Wrong one IMF from metals and miners sub state IMF upgrades
- 38:11Russia to the fourth largest economy.
- 38:14So now the world's 4th largest economy.
- 38:16Let's quickly review, okay, is starting their own metals
- 38:20exchange, which we're going to call the Romex, the Russian
- 38:22metals exchange. They are, they are also buying
- 38:27silver at their central bank. And this is the world's fourth
- 38:30largest economy. Let's go down here.
- 38:32The IMF is ranked. Russia is the world's fourth
- 38:35largest economy based on purchasing power parity, PPP.
- 38:39That's the IMF, OK. According to the report, Russia
- 38:43ranks 4th in terms of PPP after China.
- 38:46OK, the United States, who's in 2nd place and I3 out of the four
- 38:54world's largest economies based on PPP, which is how the IMF
- 38:58likes to measure the size of the world's economies, are BRICS
- 39:01countries. Think about that.
- 39:02Think about gold and silver, Think about China.
- 39:05See my pointy there? Hold on, see my pointy.
- 39:11Think about, think about everything we've learned about
- 39:14China and silver demand and gold demand.
- 39:16Think about everything we know about India, right on track to
- 39:20maybe import upwards of 270, two, 180 million ounces of
- 39:25silver this year, 3035, maybe 40% of the world's silver
- 39:29output. That's India alone.
- 39:31You know what? China and now Russia, right?
- 39:34What we've been talking about. This is huge, guys.
- 39:36This is huge, huge news. The world of silver and gold are
- 39:43changing, right? The world monetary order, the
- 39:46world financial order is changing right before our very
- 39:50eyes. You aren't going to get told
- 39:52this on CNN, the children's news network.
- 39:56We're not going to be told this even on Fox.
- 39:58We're not going to be told this on MSNBC.
- 40:01We know that for sure, OK, right.
- 40:03This is happening and it's happening right now, and it's
- 40:06going to result in, right? We've looked at all the reasons,
- 40:09but what the result is going to be is you.
- 40:12Right, Somebody who's decided to protect yourself and your family
- 40:15with precious metals, you being, I believe, very happy that you
- 40:19did that. Look, I don't have a crystal
- 40:21ball. Don't make any financial
- 40:23decisions based on anything I'm saying.
- 40:25I'm telling you what I believe, what I see, right?
- 40:28Listen to me, listen to other people, listen to yourself, OK?
- 40:33And share with us. That's the other big thing.
- 40:35That's how we can learn. Send me an e-mail, put a put a
- 40:39comment. OK, guys, that's that's the way
- 40:42we learn, right? I don't ever very rarely do
- 40:45original thoughts pop into this head, right?
- 40:47We all kind of see things the way we see it.
- 40:49You can knock on this, right? Say, hey, Ron, did you think
- 40:53about this right. And that's how we learn is from
- 40:56each other. OK, one last thing.
- 40:58Oh yeah, they're also going to start their own currency, the
- 41:00bricks. We know that some people said
- 41:02this would be a 40% backed by gold.
- 41:07We didn't. That was speculation.
- 41:08We didn't get that official news.
- 41:10Bricks plan, a multi currency system to challenge the US
- 41:13dollar dominance, understanding Russia's proposal.
- 41:17So Russia's proposing this new thing.
- 41:19There's a thing called bricks pay.
- 41:21There's pictures of it out there.
- 41:23This bill, this mock up bill they had, it's happening, OK, it
- 41:28is happening. Let's just read the red here.
- 41:29The bricks cross-border payment initiative will use national
- 41:33currencies instead of the US dollar.
- 41:35Remember that there's something very, very interesting and we
- 41:38need to comment on on that. Russia's finance ministry and
- 41:42central bank released a report detailing plans to transform the
- 41:46International Monetary and financial system.
- 41:49Now, what's so important about that?
- 41:53Because this was like I said, whoop, there we are, we're back.
- 41:57This was not an original thought that I had or anyone else had.
- 42:00But but but think about this, they are de dollarizing.
- 42:04We know that dollars, but there will be less demand for dollars.
- 42:08When there's less demand for anything.
- 42:10What happens? The price, the value goes down.
- 42:12The real value, real simple, less demand for dollars or the
- 42:16trend is in that direction. The value of dollars will go
- 42:20down, inflation will go up. Not to mention we got all this
- 42:23debt, but on top of that, gold and silver will go up.
- 42:27OK, but the key, this almost forgot the key for us to
- 42:32remember here. They don't want dollars.
- 42:36They're not going to want each other's currencies either.
- 42:38I've heard it said many times, right?
- 42:39Like you think they don't trust the dollar?
- 42:41Well, they trust each other even less.
- 42:43What are they going to? What do you think they're going
- 42:46to default to gold, right? And what's right behind gold?
- 42:53What's right there standing ready, right?
- 42:56The backup man. Silver.
- 42:59Why is Russia buying a bunch of silver?
- 43:02Why are they starting their own metals exchange?
- 43:05Put it all together, right? It makes sense to me.
- 43:07But you know, All right, now, here's one more quick thing
- 43:10about Russia. I didn't realize this.
- 43:12Let's go back out to the US debt clock.
- 43:15And no, that's not the US debt clock.
- 43:18That's the US debt clock. This is fascinating to think
- 43:22about. OK, We got state debt clocks.
- 43:25We have world debt clocks. Here's the United States, right,
- 43:2930 was this round up $36 trillion in debt.
- 43:33Look, look at our ratios, public debt to GDP, external debt.
- 43:37All right, almost 90%, let's go down.
- 43:40And China's not too far behind us, although their external debt
- 43:43is lower. But let's go to Russia.
- 43:45This I was fascinated by Russia, their total national debt 434
- 43:52billion compared to our 36 trillion.
- 43:55Look at their ratios, right? This is a country, despite the
- 44:00fact that President Joe Biden said they were going to make the
- 44:03ruble rubble, that is in pretty good financial shape.
- 44:07This #434 billion is like their debt is like 1.4% or 1.3% of
- 44:16what our debt is. OK, now granted, their GDP at 2
- 44:21trillion is significantly lower than ours, but nonetheless,
- 44:27Russia is a country has 1% of the debt that the United States
- 44:32has. And here we go.
- 44:35I want one, one final thing on Russia and what's going on with
- 44:39Russia. Think about this.
- 44:41They just had this massive BRIC summit wrapped up last week.
- 44:46Think about what's going on in the world they got.
- 44:47It's not really, it's you know what, it's not really happening.
- 44:50The world's not really bifurcating. the United States
- 44:53still rules the world. Russia is nothing.
- 44:56We don't have to worry about Russia.
- 44:58I want you to think about this. I want you to think about this.
- 45:01They just hosted this meeting in Russia, and you had major world,
- 45:06the president of Iran, the president Xinjiang PGP of China,
- 45:12right? The president of India, they all
- 45:14travelled to Russia to meet with Vladimir Putin.
- 45:20This is happening, right? If they weren't serious about
- 45:24this, they would not have travelled to Russia, right?
- 45:28Who's supposed to be there? They're supposed to arrest him,
- 45:31right? This is really, really
- 45:33happening, OK. And they all want to eliminate
- 45:36the dollar. They all want to that maybe
- 45:39that's strong. They all want to de dollarize.
- 45:42We know that's the case. OK.
- 45:44And this is all happening. Take a deep breath because this
- 45:48is scary. All of this is unfolding, right?
- 45:53The world bifurcating, the world moving closer to Russia.
- 45:57All of this is unfolding right in an environment where we need
- 46:02the United States, right? Let's go pop out here.
- 46:05All this is unfolding when this is going on right here.
- 46:11See my circle. 36 trillion in debt, we need those countries to
- 46:18need dollars more than ever in the exact opposite is going on.
- 46:22They're saying no thank you. I don't want to be a doom and
- 46:24gloomer. I just want to report the facts
- 46:27and the facts are that we are in a very, very, very scary
- 46:32situation from that perspective, OK, here, look at this.
- 46:38Look at this and this shows us in no uncertain terms.
- 46:44This is from I love this guy, the Kobe C letter, right,
- 46:47breaking central banks. Why are central banks right?
- 46:50Think of in the context of what we just talked about.
- 46:52Here's a great example why central banks now hold over 12%
- 46:57of global gold reserves, 12% the highest level since when the
- 47:031990s it skyrocketed China, India, Turkey, Poland.
- 47:07That's where our friend bald guy's from right where he where
- 47:10he's where he's his crib is right now had been the largest
- 47:14contributors and we love bald guy.
- 47:16He's one of the smartest guys on the Internet, no doubt, and he's
- 47:19growing on Twitter as well. At our X I've seen too.
- 47:23Anyway, had been largest contributors.
- 47:25Gold now accounts for 5.4% of China's foreign exchange
- 47:29reserves. Wow.
- 47:30OK, meanwhile, blah blah blah, we know all this stuff.
- 47:33But let's look at this. This is a chart from 2000.
- 47:36This is 10 years. All right, International gold
- 47:40reserves as percentage of total international reserves.
- 47:44Look at this guys. I don't really.
- 47:47I don't need to get the crayons out, but I will because it's
- 47:50fun. I've always liked to draw.
- 47:52I'm going to do this freehand for you, as you can see, right
- 47:58up and up and up, right, the amount of gold held by central
- 48:03banks. Does this explain to us why Bank
- 48:07of America recently reported something very interesting about
- 48:12gold? The gold is now the second.
- 48:16The second favored world reserve asset it overtook, I think it
- 48:20was the euro behind the US dollar.
- 48:23Setting up this cage match that we have going on right now,
- 48:27right. The final countdown, the big
- 48:32fight between this oh, here I am.
- 48:36You got, I know you missed him. That's our friend, the paper
- 48:39dollar and this let's use this today.
- 48:43Let's use this from our friend coin shop Chris, this coin shop
- 48:47Chris, right. The big final cage match between
- 48:50precious metals and the US dollar.
- 48:53Let's quickly review. OK, this guy has been in the
- 48:58same match hundreds of times for thousands of years and won every
- 49:03single fight every single time. This guy's been around for what,
- 49:07100 years? Whatever.
- 49:10He's never really been in this fight and we know has lost 99%
- 49:15of its value against gold in particular since the 1970s.
- 49:19Who are you going to bet on? Who are you going to bet on?
- 49:25Who are you going to bet on? I'm going to bet on the paper
- 49:28dollar. I want to stack these things up.
- 49:30You know what? I'm going to be a dollar
- 49:32stacker. Yeah, right.
- 49:34Sure, sure thing. But I won't even pull out the.
- 49:36Yeah, I will. What the heck?
- 49:38Here. That's the old dollar.
- 49:43Where is it? There it is.
- 49:45Silver certificate. Those were the good old days.
- 49:48That's from 1935. That it's not the case today.
- 49:52Today it doesn't say silver. It doesn't say that you can
- 49:55convert it into silver. It's a heartbreaking it
- 49:59actually, it tears my heart. I mean, you know what?
- 50:01How different the world could be right now, had they?
- 50:03Anyway, I, I digress. We got a few more, but we got a
- 50:06lot more to talk about. Don't forget, if you're looking
- 50:08for a gift for a loved one who's a stacker, consider The Dirty
- 50:13man safe. OK, You bury this thing.
- 50:16You could there actually. And there's a giveaway.
- 50:18I'm going to give one away on December 30th.
- 50:21There's a link to that with directions.
- 50:22Don't go there now, go later. But these are actually very,
- 50:26very cool. I was excited to be getting it,
- 50:30but when it showed up, I was, I was, it exceeded my
- 50:34expectations. So you got the bottom here.
- 50:36It seems like a little tank. This is The Dirty girl, by the
- 50:39way, the smallest 1, you open it up and there's a sleeve you bury
- 50:44and you put something in there. Right now we got a Unicorn in
- 50:47ours, but I think I know what you would put in there, maybe
- 50:52some silver or gold and then you bury it.
- 50:54But I was thinking what a great gift idea.
- 50:57You know, that person that you know, that's hard to think of
- 50:59something to get for, for the for Christmas or whatever you
- 51:02celebrate, get him a dirty girl. You know, a dirty girl safe,
- 51:06dirty girl safe. All right, where were we?
- 51:12OK. Oh, yeah.
- 51:14Oh, this is interesting. Lobo Tigray, You guys know who
- 51:18he is. I last week, I think bald guy
- 51:21who we talked about earlier had this guy on his channel.
- 51:25Lobo Tigray and a great interview.
- 51:27I'd highly recommend you check it out after you watch, after
- 51:31you watch this. But Lobo Tigray, he said
- 51:35something that I hadn't thought of that just critical.
- 51:39OK, He says, interesting to see pro gold coverage.
- 51:43And The Economist, that's this magazine right here, The
- 51:46Economist, which of course I read.
- 51:49It's fascinating reading. Now that's not the interesting
- 51:52part. He says, no, I'm not selling all
- 51:56of my gold cuz that's what some people say, like when Fortune
- 51:58magazine has gold on the cover, time to sell, right?
- 52:01Anyway, he says. But yes, this is what I thought
- 52:05was interesting. You know, the stealth phase of
- 52:08the bull run is well behind us, OK, In my opinion, we are still
- 52:14in the wall of worry phase. So guys, that's what's I think
- 52:17so interesting that he points out, I hadn't thought about it,
- 52:21but the stealth phase is kind of behind us, right?
- 52:24Like we were part of the the stealthy, you know, a year ago,
- 52:28two years ago in the gold and silver.
- 52:30We knew what was going on. We were sharing information with
- 52:33each other. Now it's no longer stealth,
- 52:36right? People are starting to wake up
- 52:38like, oh, gold and silver go. And so that cover of Economist
- 52:42shows us that it's a big deal when these mainstream magazine
- 52:46start to have coverage Here is from the Economist website,
- 52:51right. The blistering rally in gold
- 52:54augers I'll for the power of the dollar.
- 52:59Let that sink in. That's from the Economist, like
- 53:03a big pro Western magazine. Central banks are shifting away
- 53:08from the greenback. This is what the the
- 53:12sophisticated sheeple are getting the sophisticated
- 53:17sheeple. So later on today, everyone,
- 53:19because I know that you typically spend your Sunday, I
- 53:22know what you do on Sunday afternoons.
- 53:24You're like me, you go to the Country Club and when you're at
- 53:26the club, you can say something along the lines of this.
- 53:30You know, the Economist magazine had a cover article about the
- 53:34blistering rally in gold and how it augers I'll for the power of
- 53:38the dollar since I'm too cheap to buy a online subscription.
- 53:41It This is great. This is great.
- 53:43Are you I got a question for you.
- 53:46What's the word? I'm going to ask you a question.
- 53:51Are you an eccentric doom monger?
- 53:53Do you view me as an eccentric doom monger?
- 53:56I think we're realist right there.
- 53:58One of the guys I interviewed a year back said I don't get paid
- 54:02to be negatives. I get paid to assess risk and it
- 54:05feels like we're in a very risky situation.
- 54:07But back to the economist, you eccentric doom monger you Not
- 54:12long ago, gold seemed to have lost its luster.
- 54:16In the decades after President Richard Nixon abandoned the gold
- 54:20standard in 1971, the yellow metal fell out of favor with
- 54:25central banks, which hoarded their reserves in dollars
- 54:29instead. Yeah, they said, you know, I
- 54:32don't want to stack gold. I'm going to stack paper.
- 54:34That seems like a good idea. In the 1980s and 1990s,
- 54:38investors and households grew weary of its miserly returns.
- 54:43Miserable miserly returns, Gold bugs that would be US guys or
- 54:48silver stackers, whatever, were dismissed as eccentric doom
- 54:53mongers. Gold was alluring then, forged
- 54:57into a shiny bauble and and useful and specialist
- 55:01manufacturing. But it was hardly a serious
- 55:04financial asset. You know, I don't, I don't like
- 55:08that economist. That was not a very nice thing
- 55:10to say on many different levels. Why don't you talk to the
- 55:14Russians? Why don't you talk to the
- 55:16Chinese? Why don't you talk to the
- 55:17Indians? Why don't you talk to the
- 55:18Brazilians? Why don't you talk to any of
- 55:21these other people in the world and see how they think about
- 55:24whatever you called it, a bauble, Whatever a bauble is, I
- 55:27don't know. Anyway, OK, one last.
- 55:30This is big and before we go there, I will say thank you.
- 55:34Thank you to channel sponsor First mining gold guys, they're
- 55:38a Canadian gold development company.
- 55:40If you are interested in a company that has gold in the
- 55:44ground in Canada, gold in the ground, their development stage
- 55:47company, they're working on getting permits.
- 55:49OK, they're not mining yet, but they've got 2 multi million
- 55:52ounce projects in Canada. They've already been drilled,
- 55:55all that good stuff. If you want gold in the ground
- 55:58in Canada, you might want to research.
- 56:00I'm not giving financial advice for first Mining gold.
- 56:03You can always reach out to Paul Morris, their director of
- 56:05investor relationships. I got a link to his e-mail
- 56:08address in the description of this video.
- 56:11And Fortuna Mining is an active mining company.
- 56:14They're mining silver and gold in Latin America, and they're
- 56:18mining gold in West, West West Africa.
- 56:22You can learn more about them at Fortuna mining.com.
- 56:27What do you say we talk about $67 silver?
- 56:31OK, here we go. Here we go.
- 56:37My good friend, well, I don't even know him, but I love what
- 56:40he talks about. Rashad Hajevev says this is what
- 56:44I expect from from gold to silver ratio over the next three
- 56:49to nine months. Initial target 60 area and then
- 56:53sub 40 in purple. Breakdown of this ratio will
- 56:57ignite a bull run in silver, ignite a bull run in silver.
- 57:03So let's look at his chart here guys this goes back to 2011.
- 57:08This is a chart of the gold to silver ratio measuring how many
- 57:12ounces of silver it takes for you, yes, you to get one ounce
- 57:18of gold. As you can see right now, we're
- 57:21right above 80. It takes, yes, 4 tubes of
- 57:24American Silver Eagles, right? 80 American Silver Eagle coins
- 57:28to get one ounce of gold, which I think is ridiculous.
- 57:31I wouldn't take that trade in a million years.
- 57:33But you know, I could be wrong, right?
- 57:35Maybe that's a good smart thing to do right now.
- 57:37But to me it just that defies, does it?
- 57:39How do you feel about it? To me, it defies common sense to
- 57:42think, Oh yeah, I'm going to convert 80 American Silver
- 57:46Eagles for one ounce of gold. None the less, what he sees is
- 57:51that breaking down. And when that goes down to let's
- 57:54say 40, OK, if we were at a 40 to one gold to silver ratio
- 58:00right now, we would have $6768 silver right now.
- 58:06OK, this is a a descending wedge pattern historically though
- 58:13historically if you look at a long term history of the gold to
- 58:17silver, I mean there's you know, if you go back really far in
- 58:20history, it's like 8 to 1/5 to 1/3 to 112 to one, whatever.
- 58:24If you look at recent history, it's easy to see that ratio
- 58:28getting to 60 to one from where we are now, and it is 60 to one
- 58:32gold to silver ratio. If it only took you 3 tubes of
- 58:36American Silver Eagles to get one ounce of gold right, that
- 58:39would be a 60 to one would be a $45 per oz silver price.
- 58:45Thank you guys for being here, right, all of you.
- 58:47It's a big deal when you join me here in the basement.
- 58:51It's going to be a crazy couple weeks ahead.
- 58:53We've got a big presidential election.
- 58:55You know, all the other stuff going on in the world.
- 58:58I don't foresee massive moves. And you know, I'm often wrong,
- 59:02so bear that in mind. But I don't see massive moves in
- 59:05the gold or silver price. Big, big moves heading into the
- 59:09election. I do think that after the
- 59:11election, it's going to be, and I get to say it once.
- 59:14I know you guys are mad at me for calling you Buttercup.
- 59:17But time to buckle up, Buttercup after the election because I
- 59:21think things are going to get crazy.
- 59:22And I don't really know. It almost feels 5050 how things
- 59:27could move. We'll see how it goes.
- 59:28We'll be here together to get through it all.
- 59:30OK. Thank you for being here today
- 59:32and I'll see you soon. Thank you.
- 59:34Thank you to Jake's from Jake's. Jake from Jake's Custom Parts,
- 59:37Big 10, the Silvershire and the one and only Annie Oakley.
- 59:40Silver Susie. And for all of you, yes, you for
- 59:44joining me today. I'll see you soon.
