- 8:12[SPEAKER_19]: You know, hopefully I have enough memory that you can make stuff up on the air because people are really, you know.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_19]: Uh, but anyway, if he had documents, he's pretty darn stupid, especially after he was running around complaining that they're all to get me the road to get me.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_19]: Well, they got you then.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_19]: Now, on the other hand, I don't like the jet for jet.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_19]: I shouldn't say that for his blank for tap nature of it all.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_19]: Uh, but, um,
- 8:42[SPEAKER_19]: It still is going on.

- 8:51[SPEAKER_19]: Where's that Trump song?
- 8:52[SPEAKER_19]: We keep hearing that.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_19]: That.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_19]: Whatever bag talking about him.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_19]: Oh, the true.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_19]: That was way up.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_19]: It's record high.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_19]: Nine hundred and sixty point.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_19]: Now listen, it'll come back and moderate.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_19]: You know what reacts to these things probably more than it should.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_19]: But still.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_30]: Yeah.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_19]: Yankee's lost last night to the bowstock.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_19]: See, remember these suck.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_19]: And Hulk Hogan.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_19]: There's speculation now, it's some kind of medical malpractice may have facilitated his passing.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_19]: And listen, I know how that goes, having been a victim of that myself, but not like you knew about it, especially if you're dead, you know?
- 9:33[SPEAKER_19]: They could say that.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_19]: I like Hulk.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_19]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_19]: uh... this line who is calling in the cello and it's just myself how are you doing sir line he could judge the guy who wants to run for assembly and hundred and seventeen uh... the guy who is one of the assembly and hundred and seventeen uh... he's primary and the sublimit books next year uh... is there another candidate in there from one night of county not that i'm tracking okay i heard something about that well anyway you're from carthage mr. cunes and uh... why do you want to be an assembly man that said doesn't
- 10:11[SPEAKER_18]: and all I know is service I've been driving so much since I retired moved up to the North Country and I just I'm tired of hearing everybody complain about nothing being done but nobody's doing anything so the only way to do something is to do something so here I am yeah well you understand that if you were elected as a Republican in the New York Assembly you're like a poted plant down there you're not going to do anything well my idea and plan is to hopefully lose some of that out and make people see that
- 10:41[SPEAKER_18]: because it's working quite the way we need to do as far as just having a look at the Democrats and get things done.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_19]: Well, what's wrong with Mr. Blank and Bush?
- 10:48[SPEAKER_19]: He's a nice guy.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_18]: Mr. Blank Bush isn't a nice guy.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_18]: He served our country in the military and he served our district.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_18]: I just feel it's time to integrate some energy and get out there and do things.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_18]: You know, see the people.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_18]: I'm not just out in the photo ops.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_18]: I'm not just smiling.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_18]: I'm out here physically speaking, door to door knocking.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_18]: Okay, well.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_18]: Sure.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_18]: I'm making this personal.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_19]: All right, this district, the hundred and seventeen kind of meanders catches a part of St.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_19]: Lawrence, all of Louis, and down into our night at I think, Harkimer County.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_18]: Yes, but not for our own item, just more times.
- 11:27[UNKNOWN]: We have the very edge of Jefferson there too.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_19]: Okay, a little bit of Jefferson too.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_19]: All right, so you know, it's kind of a, doesn't really have a center of gravity politically, as far as one community, but.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_19]: And you got a long way to go with the primary would be next June, right?
- 11:46[SPEAKER_18]: Yes, sir.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_18]: We'll be collecting the dishes, signature, probably, February, March, time for emergency.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_19]: OK.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_19]: All right.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_19]: So, well, that's good.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_18]: From the cab of a semi-truck, I have to get ahead of it.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_18]: Stay ahead of it.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_18]: Because my entire campaign has been run from the cab of this semi-truck.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_19]: All right.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_19]: Well, I worry from originally.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_18]: So I was born and raised in South Central Michigan in the farm.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_18]: It's a milk house.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_18]: So that kind of box stuff.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_19]: OK.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_19]: familiar with the lifestyle, everything like that.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_19]: Well, that's good.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_19]: I wish you well.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_19]: You know, keep us posted as time goes on.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_19]: Obviously, it's a little early now.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_19]: But, you know, good to see people with an issue of getting out there and running.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_18]: Yes, sir.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_18]: I appreciate it.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_18]: Thanks to the time and, uh, I'll be back soon.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_19]: All right.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_19]: Thanks a lot.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_19]: Bye now.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_19]: All right.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_19]: That's that fellow named Lonnie Cunes with a K from Carthage, says he's running for New York State Assembly against Ken Blankon Bush.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_19]: And a daunting task, but, you know, you never know.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_19]: You never know what might happen.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_19]: Boy and comments don't like, they don't like it when people run against them.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_19]: There's so many of these seats up in this area.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_19]: Like I got like walls like it was immensely popular.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_19]: You know, not they never have to worry about an opponent.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_19]: Even a, even a rose ward type of opponent.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_19]: In the old days, at least they'd come up with a like a rose ward or something to run against you.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_19]: And so it was a race.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_19]: And he'd win it easily and everybody was happy.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_19]: Nowadays, they don't even do that.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_19]: There won't be a Democrat running in the one-seventeenth.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_19]: Nope.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_19]: Nope.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_19]: Not at all.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_19]: So, anyway, Kudos to Mr. Coons for giving a try and we'll see what happens.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_19]: And, of course, obviously Mr. Blankin' Bush is welcome to come on to show anytime or call it if he's so desires.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_19]: But if he doesn't wander, that's fine, too.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_19]: Maybe I'll see you at Pete sometime.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_19]: Nice, man.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_19]: Nice, man.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_19]: Lovely wife, too.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_19]: Prince of a guy.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_19]: You know, Prince of the guy.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_19]: All right, seven, five, five, twelve, forty, the phone number.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_19]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_19]: I read the headline, I'll lead story up above the fold in the paper about cannabis cannabis to be considered by city council next Tuesday.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_19]: They public hearing and vote on a local law that would allow cannabis or weed sales within the city limits.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_19]: If we allow it now.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_19]: According to that, Anita
- 14:09[SPEAKER_19]: It's a freaking role, whatever whoever she is from the substance abuse place.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_19]: She says he's like, two dozen.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_19]: We chop some town now, we tell them.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know if these are that many, but they're several.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_19]: Well, she's street dealers.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_19]: I can't deny it.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_19]: I've known him for years.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_19]: And he's smoked for years, long before it was legal, but he always had somebody who would deliver to him.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_19]: He could get like weed and
- 14:37[SPEAKER_19]: tax-free cigarettes to delivered that's a great thing if you can get that done that's the best way to do it assuming you're confident of the source and all of that so then some people grow it themselves yeah so that's another thing but they're gonna have a public hearing next week you know that's perfunctory I mean the council members say well I'm waiting to hear with the public as you know since when come on come on man you'll get a need it will get up and speak
- 15:06[SPEAKER_19]: And I could almost write a speech for, I know what you'll say.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_19]: And a couple other people will get up.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_19]: And that'll be that.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_19]: And even if it passes, it only is for the sale of it, not the use of it on for on premise.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know why, but they kept that out of their staff did.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_19]: And then they're going to zone it, but Jesus out of it to make sure it's in some obscure corner of Arsenal street.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_19]: And all of that, suppose the illicit weed shops get to open on any corner they want.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_19]: I don't get that.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_19]: get there.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_19]: But after noon you're on the air.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_15]: How are you doing?
- 15:40[SPEAKER_19]: Good, what's up?
- 15:42[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, not about Choselsman who's a shoulder.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_15]: Listen to that.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_15]: The Lonnie guy calling the show sounds like a really nice gentleman.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, they're all nice guys.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_15]: To the get it in there, right?
- 15:53[SPEAKER_19]: Well, you know.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_15]: I wanted to talk about the marijuana situation.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_15]: Then in the city, there is a lot of shops that are that are going out already illegally.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_15]: And that's just Jeff Smith's.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_15]: This is all back where you're not him if you were if you're going to be at the public hearing I wonder.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_19]: I don't want to know.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_19]: I don't want to know.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_19]: I don't want to know.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want to know.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_15]: I don't want
- 16:36[SPEAKER_19]: Well, I know a couple of guys who are well known in the community have made a lot of money off selling the property to some of these smoke shop providers.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_15]: So I'm sure I mean, yeah, I'm sure there's people that one, but I know a lot of people that lost two of that lost with that happening.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_19]: Well, the thing is, when this all passed, the state legislature passed it, the city of it had just done nothing.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_19]: Then if there somebody got licensed and made the investment, it would happen.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_19]: If not, it wouldn't.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_19]: But then they had to get on their high horse there and do some virtue signaling and all of that stuff.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_19]: And that's all it was.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_19]: It was nonsense.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_15]: You and I were in there.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_15]: We went in the room at the time.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_15]: It's a three-men in the room situation.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_15]: Somebody made a deal.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_15]: I saw a little back door deal.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_15]: Come on.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_15]: It's a three-men in the room deal.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_15]: We weren't there.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_15]: All it comes down to.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_15]: For real, come on.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_15]: All of a sudden you got eight or nine smoked shots popping up and they all got permission to sew weed.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_15]: Nobody ever had permission to sew weed around here.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_15]: All of a sudden they got permission.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_15]: I just don't get it.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_15]: But I think I do get it.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_15]: It's the three men in the room, and we're just not supposed to talk about it.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_19]: Now you can talk about it here.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_19]: I don't care.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, it's just the way it is.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_15]: And the Smith made a big mistake.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_19]: Well, you don't need that.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_19]: You don't need permission to sell weed.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_19]: I mean, people do it every day.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_15]: It's legal in New York.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_19]: People, yeah, they grow it.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_19]: They sell it.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_15]: You know, we go through this, this, um, they don't want to get over that.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_15]: And, and as far as we need to go, so you ever met a need of sir.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_19]: I have matters.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_19]: He's very nice.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_15]: Very nice woman.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_19]: Very nice woman.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_15]: I don't think he has a problem with weed.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_15]: Maybe she does.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_15]: I don't know.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_15]: I never really asked her really about it.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_15]: But weed is like, it shouldn't even be a stigmatism anymore.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_15]: It's like alcohol.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_15]: I mean, alcohol shouldn't be stigmatized either.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_15]: I don't think.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_15]: You can handle both of them.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_15]: If you can handle your weed, you should be able to smoke your weed.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_15]: If you can handle your alcohol, I can't handle my alcohol.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_15]: So I don't drink.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_15]: Over twenty years ago, I had to make a decision.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_15]: Right?
- 18:43[SPEAKER_15]: I had this guy say to me, he said, you're not belong in a bar.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_15]: And I said, why?
- 18:48[SPEAKER_15]: And he said, not because you're the joke in the bar, but because you can't handle the joke in the bar.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_15]: And that's what I, I listen to.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_15]: Did I say that?
- 18:58[SPEAKER_19]: Did I say that to you?
- 18:59[SPEAKER_15]: Maybe you did.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_15]: Maybe it was you.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, whatever.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_19]: All right.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_19]: Thank you for taking my phone call.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_19]: Thank you, by now.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_19]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_13]: I think I Mr. Coons are where we aim to talk about kind of blank abortion.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_13]: I've personally spoken to Mr. blank abortion, Mr. Gray.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_13]: The Republicans don't are squat in the blue state.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_13]: And he has to learn this.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_19]: Right, they just sort of, yeah.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_19]: It's a nice job, a good salary in benefits, prestige.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_19]: And yeah, you might do a little constituent work now and again, but that's basically what it is.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_19]: What it is.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_13]: There's not much to be changed in your state of Albany and Washington changes and they better get that through if he thinks it's up with March on down to Albany.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_19]: And I don't, yeah, I mean, you could get elected.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_19]: I bet you, I bet you Carl Hastie doesn't even say hello to people like Blank and Bush or Gray if he sees him in the hallway.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_13]: They spoke as different events I've been at and they said I mean there is a bunch of folks live for a Marxist down there.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_13]: They'll later to the outside.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_19]: Hey, who's going?
- 20:15[SPEAKER_19]: Isn't one of them going so White House this weekend to go bowling?
- 20:18[SPEAKER_11]: Who's that?
- 20:21[SPEAKER_19]: I heard that the other day and I asked the person involved they never got back to me so I assumed it was true There was a story going around I think I got it from somebody in the media
- 20:31[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, a real media, the biggest, you know, one in town, and they told me that, uh, I can't disagree with him, but he thinks he's running, but he thinks he's going to change something.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_13]: Uh, he's not.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_19]: But he's idealistic, you know, I mean, listen, even if you run in a lose, it still makes some impact because it forces the person who does win to listen to you.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_19]: So they have to hear something because, you know, these people, God bless them and God bless Mr. Blankin, boy, he's a good soul.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_19]: But there's no competition.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_19]: The party goes out and gets petitions for him.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_19]: It's just, it's profanctory.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_13]: It's a change in anything in the space.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_13]: It's not going to happen until four more, there's more legislators there, Republicans.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_19]: Well up here you don't get any contest or anything and you know the county legislature they're all.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_19]: Fifteen of them and they're all on a post and it's not that I hate them it's just that.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_19]: First you know where's the.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_19]: You know I can't remember like when they had the board of supervisors should have like.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_19]: You know, in the fourth word, Cliff Montgomery versus Steve Froome, it was an active race between you had Ted Rand running against my uncle.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_19]: I'd rather over in the fifth word.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_19]: You had other words where there were people running.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_19]: And I remember the time when Smithy there, he broke into politics by beating and established Republican in the third ward.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_19]: And you had context.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_13]: I worked for a government and get kind of vision salary and benefits and medical engineering.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_13]: They're all fat.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_13]: I don't blame him.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, no, I don't blame him.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_19]: All right.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_19]: Thank you.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_11]: I have a wonderful day and keep up to the work.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_19]: Uh, I will.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_19]: It is good work.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_19]: It's the Lord's work, keeping the public informed in the North country and, you know, I don't know.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_19]: What would happen if it weren't for me?
- 22:40[SPEAKER_19]: You see that I saw that Facebook and the guy Colin Burns ran for council says he hasn't had enough of it yet he's going to run in twenty twenty seven.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_19]: Well, it's good.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_19]: I mean, you know, it's good to say, you know, you're in the fight.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_19]: I mean, I don't have a problem.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_19]: And so we'll see how that goes.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know what the other ones are doing.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_19]: I mean, that's a long ways off in a way, but it's not a long ways off.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_19]: It'll be here.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_19]: You know, you got to next year and then the following year is, use that race.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_19]: So you know, you got to kind of say so.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_19]: I had a couple comments on it.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_19]: I'm very, on, on messages.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_19]: I'll share them with him later.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_19]: But, uh, let's see, there's a person who wrote in.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_19]: I remember living in water town and voting for love buff over you years ago.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_19]: Well, that's good.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_19]: It's like kicked his butt.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, that was two thousand seven, sir, and you had your vote, and you cast.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_19]: That was the year he wanted to, he didn't want women to be able to teach little boys in like church schools or something, or yeah.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_19]: He didn't think women should, he said the Bible said women should not be able to teach teach boys in a classroom.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_19]: He said it not me.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_19]: It attracted international attention, you know.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_19]: Already got a call coming in, go ahead.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_19]: What's up?
- 24:17[SPEAKER_17]: I have great time down at India.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_17]: The last concert is a church last night.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_11]: Good.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_17]: And I missed.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_17]: I was going on the forward to today.
- 24:28[UNKNOWN]: I called to yesterday.
- 24:29[UNKNOWN]: My niece has emergency.
- 24:31[UNKNOWN]: We got a postpone together.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_19]: That's all right.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_19]: Well listen, that goes to show and that lady who called in to promote the concert, how smart she is, but there's so many events and because she called in, she took three minutes of her time and called in, didn't spend a dime doing it and you went to her event because of it.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_19]: Because you heard about it.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_19]: No, you weren't.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_19]: No, you're ruining my story.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_19]: But I mean, it's such an easy thing to do.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_19]: Like to hold in that brew thing down in seconds.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_19]: Nobody's called from there.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_19]: The adults are running that.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_19]: I would add one would add two.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_17]: I'm just so I had this to go right if it was the weather was supposed to be ideal.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_17]: But I funny thing, when I'm at the concert at the church, two different people come up to me and just, oh, Sean, have fun on your boat to the other day.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_17]: So you've got a lot of listeners.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_17]: You know, I guess sort of a foul wink is people recognize me by my voice.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_17]: They say, oh, have fun on the boat tour and you've got something to have to go into here.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_17]: So yeah, we have fun watching you.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_17]: So we've sort of like a little, little club here.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_19]: OK.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_19]: All right.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_19]: Well, thank you.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_17]: All right.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_17]: Have a day, Matt.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_19]: All right.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_19]: And when we come back, we'll talk about
- 25:55[SPEAKER_19]: Well, as far as Samantha and the boat tickets, I'll try to bring her over to the bar.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_19]: She wants to get them as big kerfuffle as she wants to get them because they're free, but she doesn't know how to get her hold of me.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know how to get her hold of her.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_19]: I'm not driving the tickets up to Alex Bay.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_19]: I'll tell you that much, but whatever.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_19]: And we come back.

- 30:17[SPEAKER_19]: Route three.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_19]: You go up by the mall, like you go into the mall, but you don't go to the mall, and then you just keep going at about six, seven miles, the seconds are a group.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_19]: Okay, you got that?
- 30:27[SPEAKER_19]: And it looks like a good weather, too.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_19]: Oh, there you go.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_19]: And they have an island there.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_19]: It's not a picked in island, but it's the name of that island right off the shore.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_19]: I know some guy was putting some railings up on it.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_19]: Uh, seven, five, five, twelve, forty the phone number.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_19]: Well, you know, I was something you've all heard of AI or official intelligence.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_19]: And you know, a lot of people use it to write things or research things and maybe get to make a poster, you know, we do some of that at the bar.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_19]: And that's fine.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_19]: It's kind of neat.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_19]: Kind of neat.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_19]: You won't you get the hang of it.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_19]: And it's a handy thing.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_19]: I have no problem with it.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_19]: I'm not one of these ones who thinks it's evil.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_19]: I saw another thing.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_19]: I just saw an ad from some service where you can take an old photo.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_19]: I got a nineteen forty family didn't Thanksgiving dinner and all the people and it'll not just colorize it, but animate it.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_19]: And all of a sudden the people are actual living people conversing and handling it and it's kind of creepy in a way.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_19]: It's kind of creepy, but it is kind of neat too.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_19]: But it's kind of creepy.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_19]: And the other thing I was looking at, and it was a, that fella who does the water town post, the online sort of newspaper there, he put together some pieces, one of sort of a simulated news thing here.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_19]: It'll listen to it.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_19]: Can we get it?
- 31:44[SPEAKER_19]: No, we didn't get it.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_19]: Oh my god, stop.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_19]: Now we're trying to get it here.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_19]: See you soon.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_19]: See you for a little play.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_12]: Good evening.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_12]: I'm Samantha Reyes.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_12]: Last night in Watertown City Council has halted pursuit of the ethics case against Councilman Cliff only.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_12]: Members voted down a request to wave privilege for the outside law firm that actually profited from creating the complaint.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_12]: While the case could come up again, letters released today raised fresh questions from Councilmember Lisa Rageiro.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_12]: She asked how a complaint about a private citizen allegedly offering a bribe turned into a
- 32:19[SPEAKER_19]: Now, all right, it sounds good.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_19]: Obviously, pronunciations can be a problem.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_19]: That's got to be worked out.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_19]: The picture, you can't see the picture on the air rather attractive blonde in sort of a newsroom setting.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_19]: And, you know, a little halting in some of the thing.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_19]: I mean, not perfect, not perfect.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_19]: But close enough that I have revised my effort.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_19]: I used to think that Jeff Cole has done in ten years.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_19]: He'll be taken over by AI.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_19]: Now I'm thinking five years.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_19]: Same with John Moore and the rest of them.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_19]: Diane.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know whether they will use an image of those people that folks at gray television who owns that chain, but eventually the corporate people who remember the ones who said that Sandy Torres and Emily had to be fired to save money.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_19]: And it's an Emily's doing a commercial for a local bank, and it looks great doing it.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_19]: But that's their problem, not the banks, but general subits.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_19]: So anyway, they're going to look at the corporate guys.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_19]: You're going to look into and say, we don't need these people.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_19]: We don't need these Prima Donna anchors.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_19]: We can use AI.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_19]: Now, he's still got to have somebody supervise the creation of the news and the copy and all of that.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_19]: You can't get by with no people.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_19]: You've got to have somebody with some judgment involved and, you know, I'm not sure that AI can do news judge.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_19]: But as far as, you know, how the Brits, they don't call it an anchor person.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_19]: They call it a presenter.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_19]: The person on the BBC is a presenter.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_19]: And I think that's a more accurate term.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_19]: They're presenting the news.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_19]: Why does it have to be a human?
- 34:00[SPEAKER_19]: It doesn't.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_19]: And if you look at this thing, it's on the guy over the water down posted.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_19]: It looks good.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_19]: And you're going to see that.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_19]: You'll see it first with weather and all of that.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_19]: And then now it shows like this.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_19]: A little more difficult because it involves institutional knowledge, the ability to retrieve information and all of that and back and forth with collars and everything like that.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_19]: But as far as anchoring the news,
- 34:32[SPEAKER_19]: you could have an AI anchor on channel seven or wherever you want.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_19]: And you are going to know the difference.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_19]: They might be something a glitch in what they say, but those things will be worked out over the next five years.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_19]: That's why I'm saying they're not going to do it now.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_19]: But in five years, there will be no need.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_19]: And I don't mean this in any bad way to my good friend, Mr. Cole, there will be no need for a Jeff Cole because it will all be AI.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_19]: Again, there might be a need for a couple of people in the background to, you know, kind of make sure the story selection's right and all of that and, you know, keep it on the street and narrow.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_19]: But basically, you're not gonna back when, you know, when I was working there, they used to have everybody wanting to anchor because you got a separate talent fee for anchoring.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_19]: Back in the early eighties, you got ten dollars for a newscast, five dollars for a weekend when, because they were fifteen minutes.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know, you got something for doing the morning show, you know, the cut-ins during the today show.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_19]: So, you know, there was, you wanted to anchor for that reason.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_19]: I could, you know, make extra money.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_19]: But when you look at it now, you really need any of those people.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_19]: I just don't think you do.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_19]: I don't think you do.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_19]: And I don't think you're going to see it.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_19]: In small market, maybe it'll take a while to network level and that kind of stuff.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_19]: You know, you don't even need a Rachel matter.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_19]: You could find some of them out of that nonsense.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_19]: Uh, somebody wanted to know am I on the air labor day?
- 36:12[SPEAKER_19]: No, we're taking the day off.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_19]: It's a family day.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_19]: Don't you know.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_19]: Um, so we will not be here on labor day.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_19]: I'll be laboring the other side of town that day.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_19]: And gladly doing it contributing to the local economy generating sales tax and earning a living.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_19]: So, um,
- 36:33[SPEAKER_19]: That's, I mean, I don't know if it's on that waterjump post site or where it is, you had it on Facebook, but it's really interesting to watch.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_19]: And seeing local content articulated and animated by an AI figure really drives it home.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_19]: I mean, we've all seen, you know, other things and there had nothing to do with us, but when you see somebody reading or not reading or reading it, but delivering, presenting, if you will, copy about local stuff, it's interesting.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_19]: just a thought, I don't know.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_19]: I hate to say that.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_19]: I know it's going to make me unpopular in some quarters.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_19]: Um, probably there's enough time in the industry, you know, for people like John and Diane, no people, you know, get to the retirement home before it happens.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_19]: But some of the younger people, it's, you're going to be a, have AI anchors.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_19]: That's just the way it's going to be.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_19]: So,
- 37:31[SPEAKER_19]: I shouldn't have really shouldn't.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_19]: That's terrible.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_19]: That's just terrible.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_19]: I'm going to go wash my mouth out with soap.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_19]: I'm going to take a break here.

- 40:57[SPEAKER_09]: W-A-T-N.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_19]: AM-Twelve-Fourney W-A-T-N.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_19]: I'm sorry to give that dire of look at broadcasts in the future, but you know.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_19]: Look at here.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_19]: This building used to have one radio station and they used to have one room with this racks and racks of LP records and then you had another studio room and had a big piano when people would come in and do concerts and choruses and all of that.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_19]: Plus the offices and two people doing all the traffic and the logs and everything.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_19]: And now you get several.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_19]: Same thing at Channel seven and got what three stations in that building three year.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know how many of you in that building now.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_19]: And plus we got the
- 41:34[SPEAKER_19]: The ABC station, and then we got the NBC low power station.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_19]: There's a lot of things now out there, but it just doesn't employ a lot of people.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_19]: It's a different world.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_19]: And AI is going to take that to the next level.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_19]: But after noon you're on the air.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_16]: Hey, I'm bold, and I think it's a ninety-five percent postulates on what sort of area moves has nothing to do with any documents or anything, but we shall see.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_16]: That's what they do, they rest their enemies.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_19]: I get that, and I'm troubled, look at, I'm troubled by it too.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_19]: Can I say I'm troubled by it?
- 42:13[SPEAKER_16]: But on the other hand, look what you did at Mara Lago and... Yeah, but then the way they split, look what they did to poor Joe Biden.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_19]: Joe Biden, they went into his house and found all those documents in the garage.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_19]: And then they wrote a report that special counsel said he was like, I'm not.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_16]: put in the wrong file, the wherever, and here's the deal.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_16]: The problem is if you refuse to give it back, and that's Trump.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_19]: Let's leave Trump and Biden out of it.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_19]: Let's look at Clapper on the rest of the world.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_19]: When you leave office, don't take boxes of papers home.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_16]: Well, there are a lot of them that are there.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_19]: I mean, you have a, you're, you're in a, you're in a top security job.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_19]: You're like, oh my God, oh my God.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_16]: This is mine and I'm going to keep it when is that ever happened with any of the nice house it?
- 43:19[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah, I don't think that four pages maybe of top secret documents
- 43:36[SPEAKER_19]: Well, she wasn't connected.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_19]: She wasn't Clapper or Brennan or one of these other goons.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_19]: Hey, listen, I got a, I can't keep going on.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_19]: That's a nice house.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_16]: This is one more thing.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_16]: You're such a sick affair.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_16]: That's that grueling yesterday met nothing.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_16]: He's still guilty of everything he was guilty of.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_16]: They just, I have a mind.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_16]: So like, that's America.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_16]: You'll have a lesser final come and he'll pay that.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_16]: I mean, he didn't beat anything.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_16]: You guys say that you run around I got some idiot on my blog or runs around say well, all Republicans are pretty close but generally they've seen this
- 44:24[SPEAKER_19]: Oh my god.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_19]: I've got to cut you off.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_19]: I've got to cut you off.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_19]: I've got to cut you off.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_19]: There's people who I can't have on here and they say things less innocuous than this.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_19]: So I've got to cut you off.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_19]: All right, by now, you can't be sitting there just, you know, when you say those blanked statements, that's called prejudice.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_19]: That's called whatever.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_19]: You know, saying all one group is lazy or all of one group are criminals.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_19]: And I don't know.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_19]: Somebody texted Bob Tomkins was ahead of his time, eleven p.m.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_19]: news was done with only the station logo.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, it's back.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know if they had Chroma Key back then or what they did.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_19]: But, you know, people are worried about things that aren't real.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_19]: Hollywood's pedal stuff that isn't real for years.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_19]: You think they were really flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz?
- 45:10[SPEAKER_19]: And, you know, when Chroma Key came in and you got a picture of the capital behind, uh, Jeff Cole or something, there's not really, he's not really standing in front of the capital.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_19]: So we've misled people for a long time.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_19]: Oh, let's see, um, other things.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_19]: Oh, somebody brought up the on these raids for looking for documents when they went through Melania trumps.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_19]: A new wear drawer.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_19]: That's kind of weird, isn't it?
- 45:46[SPEAKER_19]: That's kind of weird.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_19]: Well, let's look at the police blotter.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_19]: Oh, we got a call.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_19]: Good afternoon, Ronnier.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, I was just a shift topic to a Washington DC to capital of the country.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, here we go.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_18]: Come on, the news highlights came out there today.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_18]: one, one big one, I thought was from a hexif said they, the, uh, national guard and the other, they're, um, uh, national guard people coming from.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, I know, they're going to be armed.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_19]: I get it.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_18]: You're going to be armed.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_18]: That's, that's pretty, pretty desperate, Trump, uh, uh, on everybody's port.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_18]: That's, uh, that's not who we are.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_19]: For dead in Ohio, that's what I remember.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_18]: Well, you know, there's
- 46:34[SPEAKER_18]: There are six states that are not going to be sending troops there to help quote fight to crime.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_19]: I think it's stupid.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_19]: I think it's stupid.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_18]: Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and West Virginia.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_18]: But you know, a little six states to top ten cities in their country was the highest crime rate, rape, murder, robbery, and violence assault, which is the most horrible crime for all.
- 47:03[UNKNOWN]: or on those same states.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_19]: Well, let's say, Danny, you're not going to get disagreement from me.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_19]: I think bringing in the national guard from different states is stupid.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_19]: And, you know, use the resources you have.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_19]: Now, if they needed more resources and you're using some federal police to help out the DC of metropolitan force, that's fine.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_19]: And even the local guard, but I know I do not agree with bringing the national guard in from all over.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_19]: I think it's a, you know, it's part of what goes on.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_19]: It's kind of like,
- 47:32[SPEAKER_19]: You know, everything Gavin Newsom does.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_19]: That's pretty stupid, too, and there's a lot of stupid stuff.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_18]: Well, that's the whole topic here, Jeff, of us, and, you know, the first truck administration flowing over to the second one now, and the last, you know, what seven months in office now.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_18]: So, Pitted case seems to be the operating board in this administration right now with people that are hiring, that people that are firing, this thing.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_18]: oh my god you don't think well you well you you spent four years in bliss there are people troubled about what Biden was doing so get used to it when you're out of power i'm wondering in where he made some mistakes sure and yet the doctor was also don't forget that my parents were involved in some of the doctors taking home to and they both reported immediately both of them get it thank goodness for that but didn't
- 48:29[SPEAKER_19]: Remember when they brought troops into DC to rough up the veterans there that was MacArthur came in that was back in the twenties wasn't it?
- 48:39[SPEAKER_19]: The pensioners or something?
- 48:40[SPEAKER_18]: Somebody said, oh yeah, it comes number one advisor, Laura Lillmer right now.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_18]: She has a year, I guess.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_18]: She said, we want to go back to the McCarthy era, Senator Joseph McCarthy era.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_18]: That would be best for the country.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_18]: She said that.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_18]: And he said, you'll give it some thought.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_19]: Well, usually, if somebody says something stupid, you just brush him off by saying, I'll look into it.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_19]: So I mean, I'm not.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_18]: Okay.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_18]: Okay.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_18]: All right.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_19]: Well, thanks, Dan.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_19]: I got a rod.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_19]: I'm running out of time here.

- 49:40[SPEAKER_19]: We got to go and listen.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_19]: I have some things I want.

- 53:43[SPEAKER_19]: Hello?
- 53:45[SPEAKER_19]: What's up?
- 53:47[SPEAKER_19]: Okay, we gotta get to the point.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_19]: We haven't got much time.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_14]: I like to address that with Danny mentioned your previous caller about the different states.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_19]: Okay.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_19]: Okay, you've got to turn your radio down if you're going to make calls.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_19]: All right, never mind.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, the thing about those states is that even though they have what he claims they have by crime, but the crime that's all occurring in the big cities where there are
- 54:23[SPEAKER_14]: Sure.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_19]: We understand that I think the point wise do we really need to be bringing national guard in from these states just to you know, I say no.
- 54:40[UNKNOWN]: Yes, we do.
- 54:42[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_14]: The murder rate is going crazy.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_14]: If the national capital.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_19]: Okay.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_19]: Well, yeah, and some of its work there were no murders there last week.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_19]: Right, well you got the DC guard.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_19]: That's enough.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_19]: It's only a small trunk of real estate.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_19]: It's not that big of deal.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_19]: And, you know, if the mayor says she needs to.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_19]: I just think that's a problem using the national guard for general policing.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_19]: Not really.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_19]: Well, just because you have the right to you.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_19]: I was a waste of money and a waste of time.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_19]: That's my opinion.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_14]: Well, I disagree with you with the mayor.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_19]: Okay, and you're welcome to do so.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_19]: I got to run.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_19]: I got to run.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_19]: Thank you.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_19]: In the public interest convenience and necessity, I from the police blotter a forty-eight-year-old man, it says homeless.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_19]: was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_19]: This person is accused of receiving a three hundred fifty dollar deposit from a sixty-three-year-old man last January to seal the victim's driveway, but never completed the work.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_19]: Well, I'm, I, I picked this story out of the bladder because I, I want to make a little public service thing out of it.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_19]: He very wary of that kind of stuff.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_19]: Driveway ceiling is,
- 56:23[SPEAKER_19]: It's all right, it's fine.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_19]: But it's one of the areas where people do things like this.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_19]: And they want money upfront.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_19]: This would be a good warning.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_19]: Part of policing is not just chasing people down the street or whatever.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_19]: Part of it is helping to see that crimes don't happen and warning the public about things.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_19]: Whether it's counterfeit money or scammers like this, this is not new that this would happen.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_19]: But somebody got talked into it.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_19]: and they gave him three hundred fifty dollars.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_19]: It's a con game, con being short for confidence.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_19]: Somebody gets your confidence, you think they're good, but I need the money up front to ensure that you have your place in line so you can get there.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_19]: And whatever, or some kind of home improvement, somebody says, you know, I need money to buy materials.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know, depends.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_19]: Because
- 57:18[SPEAKER_19]: especially if it's a smaller job if they don't have you know the money to front a sink trap or something like that money up now no so anyway just a thought just a thought that is a nineteen year old on a hunting street second to reassult first to be criminal contempt uh...
- 57:40[SPEAKER_19]: He apparently grabbed a nineteen-year-old woman and applied pressure which impeded her normal breathing during a domestic incident as she back with him.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_19]: That happened Wednesday at five as she is loving arms now.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_19]: He also allegedly bit kicked and whipped the victim multiple times with a cell phone charging cord resulting in multiple welts on her body.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_19]: And she added order of protection.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_19]: What was he doing over there?
- 58:05[SPEAKER_19]: Well, and he took her cell phone.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_19]: He's a take charge guy.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_19]: Take charge guy.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_19]: Well, let's just hope they haven't reproduced or anything.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_19]: That would be my hope.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_19]: Oh, here's an unlicing aggravated unlicing.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_19]: A lot of people don't have licenses in their own driving.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_19]: Out in California, you don't even have to be able to recognize traffic signs and they'll give you a CDL.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_19]: Did you know that?
- 58:36[SPEAKER_19]: And here's a guy who arrested
- 58:39[SPEAKER_19]: for taking some net and fly repellent valued eight dollars and fifty nine cents of east hardware and state street.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_19]: I guess the flies in the net, you know, this time of year flies do body.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_19]: And a fly swagger buddy.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_19]: Anyway, there's that.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_19]: Now, what have we got going on today?
- 59:04[SPEAKER_19]: We've touched on a lot of stories today.

- 59:20[SPEAKER_19]: Oh well.

- 59:26[SPEAKER_19]: And that's okay, I don't mind.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_19]: Then I can sit home and listen to myself.
