- 0:00Yesterday was a historic moment for Bitcoin, with the Clarity
- 0:03Act passing the Senate Banking Committee 15 to 9 and going to
- 0:06the Senate floor for a full vote.
- 0:08The room was filled with passionate speeches from Senator
- 0:10Lummus, Senator Scott, Senator also broke, and there were still
- 0:14haters who were less enthusiastic.
- 0:17When this blows up with the economy, I hope everybody
- 0:20remembers. Mr. Chairman, today we're going
- 0:22to cover the historic news from behind the scenes in DC, but
- 0:25more importantly, we're going to cover the biggest macroeconomic
- 0:28story impacting Bitcoin that no one's talking about.
- 0:30And I'll give you my prediction as to why the Clarity Act is
- 0:33just the first domino for what's going down on July 4th this
- 0:36year. The Clarity Act was just the
- 0:38beginning. We got a lot to get to stick
- 0:40around, and you'll hear my thoughts.
- 0:42This is Dante Coca Bitcoin simply let's go all right y'all,
- 0:50we got something big dropping here simply Bitcoin.
- 0:53We've been working on this behind the scenes for over a
- 0:56year now and we want early users, early testers, people who
- 0:59want to be in the know first, people who are tired of the same
- 1:02old same old Bitcoin news and media out there.
- 1:04If you want to be one of the first to get in on the action,
- 1:06hit the QR code on the screen. You won't want to miss out.
- 1:09Back to the historic moment yesterday.
- 1:11This is a pro law enforcement bill and it's also a pro
- 1:19consumer bill. Consumers can now transmit money
- 1:25between them faster and cheaper than they can now.
- 1:30It provides a level playing field, regardless of whether you
- 1:34live in Rwanda or Queens, NY, about transmitting money faster
- 1:41and cheaper. It provides a woman who's trying
- 1:44to get out of a battered, miserable marriage the
- 1:48opportunity to walk away with her money in her head.
- 1:54It provides people who are being tortured in foreign countries
- 1:58the opportunity to walk away from that country with their
- 2:01money in their head. Because Bitcoin can be
- 2:05memorized. This is one of the most iconic
- 2:09speeches that any politician has given to monetary freedom and
- 2:12monetary rights anywhere. This sound bite from Senator
- 2:16Lummis displays exactly why she said this is the most passionate
- 2:19piece of legislation and the hardest piece of legislation
- 2:23that she's worked on in her 40 years of public service.
- 2:26She not only represents Bitcoin as a true innovation for
- 2:28Americans, but for people everywhere across the globe.
- 2:31Bitcoin is an open source piece of technology, but it's more
- 2:34than that. It's an idea that represents a
- 2:36fair playing field, freedom, and a system that is apolitical and
- 2:42outside of the current financial system.
- 2:44Senator Lummis isn't the only one who believes this.
- 2:46I was actually shocked to hear these comments from Senator Tim
- 2:49Scott yesterday. As a kid who grew up in poverty,
- 2:51the thing that attracts me to this issue the most is
- 2:55democratization. An opportunity to lower prices,
- 2:59create access points that today does not exist.
- 3:02This ought not be about Republicans and Democrats.
- 3:04It ought not be about who's on which side of the aisle or
- 3:08whether you agree with what we've done.
- 3:10This should be about the American people and nothing
- 3:14else. I want single mothers like the
- 3:15one that raised me to have more opportunities, more access at a
- 3:19lower price. And so we will disagree on this
- 3:22today, but I hope that what we end up with is a legislative
- 3:27product that is good now and gets another bite at the apple
- 3:31as it heads to the floor. What does it mean gets another
- 3:34bite at the apple as it heads to the floor.
- 3:36Well, this is just the beginning.
- 3:38It had to pass the Senate Banking Committee before it can
- 3:40go to the Senate floor for a full vote for more revisions and
- 3:43for more opposition. Opposition from people like
- 3:46Senator Warren who will continue to play the same old story about
- 3:49Bitcoin being a tool for fraud, criminals, tax evasions.
- 3:53She continues to use this insight.
- 3:55This is bitcoins only use case. While we're at war, Iran is
- 4:00openly gearing up to collect crypto fees from oil tankers to
- 4:05pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
- 4:07This will be the rhetoric from the opposition.
- 4:09You can guarantee it. The other opposition that we
- 4:12will hear because Senator Warren is paid by the big banks, is
- 4:15that the big banks have an unfair opportunity as it relates
- 4:18to them raising money in assets versus crypto companies issuing
- 4:22stable coins in digital assets. This actually isn't true.
- 4:26Senator Lummus highlights exactly what things that banks
- 4:29can do, everything that they always could do just now with
- 4:32digital assets. The bank permissibility language
- 4:35in our legislation does one thing.
- 4:37It simply confirms that banks can use digital assets to
- 4:41conduct activities that they already allow to perform by law.
- 4:46the US dollar is going to be digitized.
- 4:49It is going to be a digital asset.
- 4:52And so we need to integrate all of these assets into the banks
- 4:57that are allowed to do them, to continue to do them.
- 5:00There are no special carve outs. There are no special permissions
- 5:04and no special carve outs. Banks will be able to fold
- 5:06digital assets into their current operations and this is
- 5:09just part of a much bigger plan. That wasn't the big news that
- 5:12was happening. That isn't why you should be
- 5:14bullish about Bitcoin. I think the most historical work
- 5:16piece of news for the entire financial system starts to
- 5:19unfold on July 4th of this year. Remember in January of last year
- 5:23when Scott Besson and President Trump were talking about the
- 5:26Economic Liberation Day that was going down on July 4th on the
- 5:29250th anniversary of our country from 1776 to 2026?
- 5:34Well, let me give you the playbook, playbook step #1
- 5:38getting Kevin Wash elected as a new Fed chair.
- 5:40That just happened. He was just announced as the
- 5:4217th Federal Reserve Chairman and he's already laid out his
- 5:46plan for what he's going to do step #1 lower interest rates.
- 5:50But how is he going to do that? He's going to do that by
- 5:54convincing the market that the Fed is now no longer the person
- 5:58that is responsible for maintaining the balance sheet of
- 6:00the United States government. That will be the role of the
- 6:02United States Treasury in Scott Besson.
- 6:05They will come to in a court as what he says, he lays out his
- 6:08entire plan, but step #1 lowering interest rates, step #2
- 6:13creating a separation between what the Fed does and what the
- 6:16Treasury does. So when that role of fiscal
- 6:19responsibility heads to Scott Besson in the Treasury, what is
- 6:22going to be his mean for raising debt if the Fed is no longer
- 6:26going to be the buyer of last resort, which is what is
- 6:29creating inflation and which is what is creating high interest
- 6:31rates? Because the market doesn't
- 6:33believe that we will ever stop borrowing at such rapid rates.
- 6:36Agenda for reform. That won't.
- 6:39That will. Make matters worse, Yes.
- 6:41Well, this might upset part of your audience, Peter.
- 6:43So this is a trigger warning. This is what one of the people
- 6:46like you and I do on campus. I believe this administration
- 6:49inherited a mess, a fiscal and monetary mess, and it is
- 6:55incumbent on the administration to get out of it.
- 6:58No one said it would be easy. We didn't get into this mess
- 7:00overnight. We're not going to get out of it
- 7:02overnight. To make the numbers you said
- 7:05somewhat easier, I think to understand we were paying about
- 7:09a billion dollars in interest expense every day the day before
- 7:13COVID. We're now paying more than $3
- 7:16billion per day in interest expense.
- 7:19None of that's going to strengthen the military or help
- 7:21the least well off among us that is being squandered away.
- 7:25So what do I suggest? As you pointed out and as you
- 7:30and I have discussed, but I'm not sure the economics
- 7:32profession believes this, there are two monetary policy
- 7:36instruments. One is setting of interest rates
- 7:39and the other, this money we keep talking about, we call it
- 7:41QE, we call it the central bank's balance sheet.
- 7:45If we would run the printing press a little quieter, we could
- 7:50then have lower interest rates because what we're doing right
- 7:54now is we have all this money that's being flooded into the
- 7:58system, which causes inflation to be above target.
- 8:02That's the $7 trillion balance sheet you're talking about, an
- 8:05order of magnitude larger than when I joined the Fed.
- 8:09And at the same time, you have another monetary policy
- 8:11instrument, and that's interest rates.
- 8:14They don't work perfectly together.
- 8:15They're not perfect substitutes for each, but they're both
- 8:18monetary policy and too many that are in the central banking
- 8:22business say no, no, no, that balance sheet has nothing to do
- 8:25with monetary policy. Well, if it did when you were
- 8:29growing it, it should have something to do with the conduct
- 8:32of monetary policy when it's going the other direction.
- 8:35I think we have to be honest about these two instruments.
- 8:39And because I believe that growing the real economy is the
- 8:43more important piece for revenue, for fairness, for
- 8:47efficiency and growth, and because you have higher
- 8:50inflation caused by the bigger balance sheet, we want to shrink
- 8:53that. We can't do it overnight.
- 8:55We want the Treasury Department and the Federal Reserve to come
- 8:59to some accord, much like the Treasury and the Federal Reserve
- 9:04came to in 1951. Who's responsible for what?
- 9:08Who's going to be managing interest rates?
- 9:11The Federal Reserve? Who's going to be handling
- 9:13fiscal accounts? The Treasury Department?
- 9:16We have blurred these lines about who's responsible and when
- 9:20a president comes to power, his Treasury Secretary should be
- 9:23responsible for as the fiscal authority instead of blurring
- 9:27that over to the Federal Reserve, which only brings
- 9:29politics to the Federal Reserve. Scott Bessett needs a lever, he
- 9:33needs a new buyer, he needs a new means to issue debt, and
- 9:36that is coming through the Clarity Act.
- 9:38But before I get to the rest of the plan, let's thank our
- 9:40sponsors. Most Bitcoiners don't know that
- 9:43after they've stacked Bitcoin for such a long time, they don't
- 9:45have to sell their Bitcoin for a capital gain.
- 9:47You have another option to borrow against your Bitcoin.
- 9:50And that's exactly why the leaders of LEAD and created LEAD
- 9:53so that individuals can have access to institutional tools to
- 9:56never sell their Bitcoin. Borrow against your Bitcoin up
- 10:00to 50% loan to value. If you have $1000 in Bitcoin,
- 10:04well, borrow up to $500 in Bitcoin with no credit checks
- 10:07and getting Fiat in your account in less than six hours.
- 10:09The process is fast, seamless, and it cost about half the
- 10:12amount of a credit card and you continue to stay sovereign.
- 10:15Go to learn dot leadin dot AO slash simply to get started.
- 10:19Another way that you can continue to be sovereign on your
- 10:21Bitcoin journey is by getting a coach.
- 10:23The coach will walk you through exactly step by step how to
- 10:26maintain your privacy, how to become your own bank, and how to
- 10:30do it sovereignly by managing your Bitcoin keys the right way.
- 10:33Schedule a free meeting with the team and get a personal coach
- 10:36for your Bitcoin journey at the bitcoinway.com/partner/dante
- 10:40Dash Cook. They'll hook you up.
- 10:42So I asked the question before we started to thank our
- 10:44sponsors. How is Scott Besson going to
- 10:47raise assets? Well, it's going to be through
- 10:49digital assets. And it can't just be from the
- 10:51American taxpayer and the normal individual.
- 10:54It's going to be through a collaboration between the banks
- 10:57being able to issue digital assets through their existing
- 10:59operations. And it's going to be through a
- 11:02new buyer, a buyer that we have to rebuild trust with in order
- 11:05for the world to work. The new buyer for this debt is
- 11:08clearly going to be China. That's why President Trump just
- 11:11went to go. Is it President Xi for the first
- 11:13time in over a year? Here's what he had to say about
- 11:15the meeting. And then when they look through
- 11:16the history books, this summit, what will people be saying 10
- 11:22years from now? Well, I think it's a very
- 11:23historic summit. It's the two great countries.
- 11:26I call it the G2. This is the G2.
- 11:28They have G7, they have the G8, this is the G2.
- 11:32And I think it'll go down as a very important moment in history
- 11:35and maybe more than anything else, a great moment of respect.
- 11:40OK, we all know that President Trump is a narcissist.
- 11:42He said the meeting was very successful, world renowned,
- 11:45unforgettable. He called it a historic and
- 11:48landmark meeting that's going to go on throughout the ages.
- 11:52OK, that's a little bit exaggerated, but as narcissistic
- 11:55as President Trump is, it wasn't just him that saying it was a
- 11:58great meeting. It was President Xi as well.
- 12:00In Nanzhou for that representation.
- 12:03Xiang Ho Chengdu Kung Fu final. So we tell Shin should die.
- 12:12We should find a new way for our countries to be partners in this
- 12:15new era moving forward. What is the new era?
- 12:19What is the new system? Aren't we already partners with
- 12:22China? This is everyone coming to the
- 12:24table and realizing that these small factions of other
- 12:27countries cannot sustain the global economy.
- 12:29It truly is the G2, China and the United States if we want the
- 12:33world to not collapse on itself in the weight of its own debt.
- 12:36So yeah, on July 4th, 2020, sixth, they're going to issue a
- 12:39Trump coin. I'm not even kidding.
- 12:41Trump's face is going to be on a coin and it's rumored to be
- 12:44reported that he's going to be on a $100 bill.
- 12:46But what the actual win is, is that they're going to start
- 12:50creating the new rails for the new financial system.
- 12:53And that starts on July 4th with China, with Scott Besson being
- 12:57able to issue more debt and China holding a significant
- 13:00portion in position in our USD T dollar digital asset system that
- 13:05will be rolling out on July 4th if the Clarity Act passes.
- 13:09And with that, Donald Trump has a message for bit corners.
- 13:12We're going to be winning, winning a lot.
- 13:15Our country is winning again. In fact, we're winning so much
- 13:19that we really don't know what to do about it.
- 13:23People are asking me, please, please, please, Mr. President,
- 13:27we're winning too much. We can't take it anymore.
- 13:30We're not used to winning in our country until you came along.
- 13:34We're just always losing. But now we're winning too much.
- 13:38And I say, no, no, no. You're going to win again.
- 13:41You're going to win. Big All right, that's just
- 13:43ridiculous. But still, when the Senate
- 13:46confirms the Clarity Act, that's going to kick off the new plan
- 13:50and new accord between Scott Bessett and Kevin Walsh, the
- 13:53separation between the roles and responsibilities of the Fed and
- 13:57the Treasury. This will allow digital dollars
- 13:59to be issued through U.S. banks. And for Scott Besson to have
- 14:02another tool and another lever to convince the markets that
- 14:05forward interest rates should be lower because they're going to
- 14:08be more fiscally responsible with him under the helm.
- 14:12He's also going to attract a new debt buyer, which is China.
- 14:14This is all insanely bullish for Bitcoin because they're going to
- 14:17be finding new ways to inject liquidity in the system without
- 14:20burdening it with more debt when we have a rising interest rate
- 14:23problem of nearly $1.2 trillion in interest per year, which will
- 14:27be more than Social Security by the end of 20-30.
- 14:30This is why interest rates are high.
- 14:32We got to get inflation under control.
- 14:34We got to find a new debt buyer. And the Clarity Act is just the
- 14:36first step. But enough of me talking, what
- 14:39do you think? Subscribe to the channel if you
