Roth IRAs can offer substantial benefits. Tax deferred growth, tax free withdrawals and no Required Minimum Distributions. But if you are single and your Modified Adjusted Income is greater than $150,000 or your joint income exceeds $236,000, you are not eligible for a Roth contribution.
