- 2:00bread Doctor doing something strange for some change, Cold as Winter, Soldier ever
- 2:05and the Ting of the North Wow banging on me today dreaming of a Walter
- 2:10White Christmas. Though, that is a great segue because just the other day,
- 2:15right, I'm sitting here, I don't know, the song popped in
- 2:16my head. You know. Of course it's holiday season, so the songs
- 2:20have been playing since Halloween, but we're now in the middle of December and
- 2:23so it's heavy and I was like, oh, dreaming of a White Christmas.
- 2:27That song straight up racist, right, I don't even need to google
- 2:29it. I mean, it's out of control racist and they're gonna say it's
- 2:32about snow and shit, but no, dreaming of a White Christmas, the
- 2:37way it used to be. Wait, they said the way it used to
- 2:42be. I'm pretty sure those are the lyrics are like the ones that he
- 2:46grew up with one or the other. It's one or the other. It's
- 2:49something about the past and how it was. You have none of these colors
- 2:53in here, man, my Christmas fucking that shit up straight up and down
- 2:58down. Yeah, somebody in the chat. You know, we're live right
- 3:01now on twitch dot tv slash for all nerds, So if you're watching,
- 3:05please in the chat let me know. But I actually don't let me know.
- 3:07It's like the other day on Facebook, somebody was talking about square dancing
- 3:10and they're like, why did we learn? I don't know if this probably
- 3:13didn't happen for you, Taiana think for you. You you grew up in
- 3:15New York. But me, I grew up in Texas, and growing up
- 3:19in Texas in elementary school, we learned square dancing. And somebody say,
- 3:23you know, why did we learn square dancing? Yeah? No, I
- 3:25was that ship. No, I mean we did that. You had the
- 3:30parachute, the colorful parachute. I feel like any person up to like at
- 3:35least you never had that giant fucking colorful parachute or y'all you like come together
- 3:39and go back with me like you waving and ship and then that is square.
- 3:46No, it's not square dance. But let me get back to it
- 3:49because because it's like somebody asked this question on Facebook and without even googling it,
- 3:55I said, it's racism. Fam I remember, and I don't know
- 3:59why, but I know there's racism behind it. Someone else in the comments
- 4:02googled it and said, you don't want to google it because yes, the
- 4:09answer is racism. I mean, isn't that answer everything? First of all?
- 4:12I mean Ben, I mean you come from the South, bro,
- 4:14like Confederacy, Like Confederacy be down there, and like that's what they do.
- 4:19Like what else do you expect? Like I mean someone dup well lock
- 4:28it down says that they grew up in New York and it was still learning
- 4:31square answer too, So it goes all over basically squad answer sadly and racism
- 4:38is universal. Okay, whoof Yeah, that's a way to start off for
- 4:42all nerds. Say you go, a little bit knowledge for you and all
- 4:45that. Yeah, but welcome back everybody, Like we said, it is
- 4:47the holiday season. We are full off in it. We just dropped our
- 4:50low key episode, the All Star season review featuring Roddimus Prime featuring lock it
- 4:58Down. Who's in the chat right now? Featuring the black gay comic Geek.
- 5:01The first time ever they've been on the joint and they represented loved them
- 5:06right away. That's fam for life now. Thank you for being on the
- 5:10show. Thank you Roder and and thank you lock it Down. Of course,
- 5:13I love the conversation. I love that it got spicy. Shout out
- 5:15to Rod who was like he felt like he was fighting for his life trying
- 5:19to defend Loki. Yes, you fucking was, because you still can't change
- 5:23my mother fucking mind. You know, I feel how I feel again and
- 5:27that I mean to actually vocalized it really good. Last week on the tweet,
- 5:30he was like, Yo, like it was some stuff about it that
- 5:31was absolutely beautiful, and I, and this is more paraphrasing for me,
- 5:35I was like there was another show on that I was still like, yo,
- 5:38what the fuck? Like you're wasting my time and I'm lucky, huge
- 5:43Loki fan, so I'm just like, I just felt I'm gonna go back
- 5:46into it. Y'all want to know how I felt go back to the All
- 5:48Star episode, so you can see Rod fighting for every piece of defense.
- 5:54Shout out to everybody who come every week and be hating on us. Appreciate
- 5:58you. Make sure you lost it to let me know how you disagree with
- 6:00me. I appreciate that and like, yeah, but otherwise I have a
- 6:04really good time. Like I love the All Sorry episodes because I like pulling
- 6:09in other opinions, especially the ones that differ from us at having that conversation,
- 6:14like having that back and forth about and really like that interrogation, right
- 6:17because you and I don't even agree on everything a lot of times, but
- 6:21when we do, it's not necessarily anybody they're challenging us. So to have
- 6:25people challenging us, I just think that's really cool. M It's fantastic.
- 6:29Yeah, And I definitely still stand on business when it comes to low key
- 6:32because I just disagree. Like in fact, I watched I always love pitch
- 6:38meetings on YouTube and honest trailers on YouTube. Those are my two go tos.
- 6:43These fill for years and to this day where I always watch them and
- 6:46see what their opinion are. And they basically said a lot of the same
- 6:50things that I said about it. And then we said about it is that
- 6:55straight up they talked about the wasting time. I think Honest Trailers had the
- 6:58shot at them eating pie and how it's just them eating pie. Fray good
- 7:01time. I gotta watch. And I love Aunut trailer's because they they be
- 7:05tell yo, they be telling the truth. So pitch meetings too. I
- 7:09love pitch meetings has probably even to me better like to this day than Donness
- 7:13trailers because it gets into that inside NBA, inside Hollywood of it where it's
- 7:17like, this is what really goes on. Sometimes in a pitch meeting,
- 7:21it's just ludicrous. You know. That's a pitch media just for anyone else'
- 7:26just watched it. It's a white dude who plays both parts of a producer
- 7:30and the writer, and the writer pitches every movie or every series that they
- 7:33do to the producer, and the producer is usually ludicrous and the writer has
- 7:38to deal with this ludicristmas. I feel like, shit you see get Greenlit
- 7:42is ludicrous like and it's done off of some GP shit like ah, my
- 7:48man's right, like some of that type of oh I know so and so
- 7:51odd as my cousin. Ah, Like that's how it feels to me.
- 7:56Hollywood many times feels me and we know that to also be the case.
- 8:00You know, firstand I was thinking about something today and I know you noticed.
- 8:05But I don't think the average person out there knows how many TV shows,
- 8:09how many films there are out there that we never get to see.
- 8:13I mean the difference in yeah, there's like a couple, not a couple.
- 8:18There's a lot of music that we never get to hear. People make
- 8:20whole albums they don't ever get released for whatever reason. But I think Hollywood
- 8:24has that beat on the level of amount of things and the amount of money
- 8:30that get sunk into these productions. Like, for example, there's a Beyonce
- 8:35allegedly I've never you know, had this confirmed, but I've heard stories of
- 8:39that at one point before I think it's before four, because four has End
- 8:43of Time on it. She was going to do a whole album that was
- 8:46all afrobeat inspired and with Swiss beats, and a lot of that was done
- 8:52from what I understand, and then they scrapped it and did Four and just
- 8:56left End of Time from that project, so I believe it. But also
- 9:01she ended up doing Black as King, which was well beyond just doing something
- 9:05else. So much later you got to think about that, and that's so
- 9:07wild to me because she could have she could have, you know, really
- 9:11put afrobeat on earlier. Yeah, and it's interesting. But with movies,
- 9:18you know, the Bat Girls a famous example now the Game of Thrones.
- 9:20There's a whole Game of Thrones pilot from the first Game of Thrones that was
- 9:24shot, filmed, everything, and then they scrapped that pilot completely and we'll
- 9:28never see it. But there's so much like that, and that's so much
- 9:33money. So when you talk about things that do get made, it's you
- 9:37know, there's a lot of money being wasted and spent in general in Hollywood.
- 9:41It's really crazy. I mean, I also know and maybe even outside
- 9:46of Hollywood, like especially in music, there are there's also the general creative
- 9:50process where you could spend a year on something and you go, you know
- 9:54what, no, just don't go right. And also to the other side
- 10:01of things where you do release something and it makes no waves and then two
- 10:05years later somebody get a hold of it and that shit become number one,
- 10:09and it's like two, three, four years later and it becomes something that
- 10:11you've been worked on that you've been performed or whatever that just now is hidden.
- 10:16Shout out to lock it down. She mentions that same thing happens with
- 10:20comics. Yeah, I mean, oh, I'm still waiting. I actually
- 10:30need to finish some work on Hendrix, but yeah, it is coming out
- 10:33still, heindrids. Make sure you go pre order that Hendrix Purple as on
- 10:39Amazon or from your local Comma book shop. And on that note, shout
- 10:41out to anyone comments on the resurgence the Phoenix of comic book shops. Yeah,
- 10:48might want to call them the Jesus and Comma book shops. That he
- 10:50died and was back in three days. That's what I'm saying. Like maybe
- 10:54maybe it was expressed differently on in the internal channels, but from what I
- 11:01know, right, but from what I saw on I G they were like,
- 11:03oh, were moving, That's all I heard. We was moving down
- 11:07the block. We're gonna do this in three days, and like you said,
- 11:09it with some Lazar ship. So I'm like, I bet I ain't
- 11:11know there was some other a Yo, we ain't gonna make it tight.
- 11:15Stuff going. It was close there for a second. Shout out to the
- 11:18tree. Shout out to everyone who supports anyone comments. It was really close,
- 11:22but it's actually a better situation now they are more space, I think,
- 11:26with less rent. It's a really dope situation. So shout out to
- 11:30anyone comments. If you're in Brooklyn, if you're in New York, make
- 11:33sure you stopped by funk. I was supposed to be there today, damn
- 11:35it. I've been so caught up from the right, like not that not
- 11:39too far, get them now right on? No, and it's beautiful,
- 11:43so they're gonna get mad everything. Yeah, good for traffic. Yeah,
- 11:46sweet sweet. We got to do an event there soon because we've been supposed
- 11:50to do some shit there, and we got to do an event there.
- 11:54I don't know by the end of this year to type, but definitely in
- 11:56January, we're gonna kip some shit off anyone. I was gonna say,
- 12:00grab a beef Patty and go there, but then again, I don't want
- 12:01that flicky crust all over the damn graphic novels, So maybe go get the
- 12:05graphic novels first and then go get yo be Patty. I've never been in
- 12:09there, but down the block from anyone on there is this one West Indian
- 12:13spot, you know, there's a fucking million of helping, but there's just
- 12:16one where they're definitely during spring summertime, that line be down the block like
- 12:20this is there. It might be I don't know what is going on in
- 12:26that joint, but it is serious in there. So shout out to anyone,
- 12:30Shout out to the notion, Shout out to Brooklyn as always. You
- 12:33know, it's all good. Yeah, we're talking about how things don't come
- 12:35out, how you know things do come out. Man, there's you know,
- 12:41I think you know something that might not come out as Avengers came yo,
- 12:48Like okay, so for those that I'll know today, like every team
- 12:52came out, like was it just today? Because I've been saying if it
- 12:58got worse today, right, there's more today today. The audio of the
- 13:01lud Christmas came out. Okay, if it's been coming out the last few
- 13:05days, I've just seen everything to day because you know how the algorithm works,
- 13:07I was like, oh, what's this and literally five fucking tweets later,
- 13:13the whole fucking world came down on Jonathan fucking Majors because this man is
- 13:18crazy. I'm like, regardless of whether you think he's innocent, guilty,
- 13:22whatever, this man is out of control period. The things that I heard
- 13:28him say. And I'm sitting there in the room, you know what I
- 13:31mean. You know what I mean from pulp fiction where John Tavolsa is just
- 13:35looking around like this, He's like for all the people. I was just
- 13:39like, do y'all not hear this? Like, do y'all not understand what's
- 13:41going on right now? First of all, where do I fucking start?
- 13:46Let's start after the audio that came out? Right? First of all,
- 13:52everyone knew about this because of the transcripts that came out, But the audio
- 13:56that came out about him telling Grace Jabari, a white woman, about how
- 14:01she needed to be more like Michelle Obama? Correct, you pay it?
- 14:05Do you haven't locally on your phone? Can you put? I could probably
- 14:07find it, my nigga like holds on, yeah, because I need to
- 14:13hear this, because I actually still have not heard it myself. I'd actually
- 14:18they quoted this already. This came out in court like last week, so
- 14:20I don heard this for a second. But when the audio came out today,
- 14:24I really just did not want to hear Kane telling you know, kang
- 14:28is Jonathan Majors. Let's be very clear. This this is not he who
- 14:33remains saying this ship. This might be Atticus, this is this is holds
- 14:43on. Let me see if I could find this. But and you know,
- 14:46there's something and what I don't know what struck me worse, just this
- 14:50whole thing he was going about about how he's a great man. I'm a
- 14:54great man that one or the people the responses I saw in the threat of
- 14:58people saying I don't think he said nothing wrong. I'm like, are you
- 15:01fucking shitting me? Like, I don't know if he said anything wrong either.
- 15:05It's not so much that he said something wrong the man like if you
- 15:09have to sit there and talk people, I am a great man, you
- 15:11ain't. I just think he said something literally I say it's wrong. I
- 15:20would just say it's hilarious. And then allegedly it's because like she came home
- 15:24drunk from the from the club. I want to say from the club,
- 15:26but she she came home drunk from wherever she came from now here it is.
- 15:33Okay, let's let me hear that, and then I'll get to the
- 15:35real tragic part of this. Ish Okay, don say what you gotta say,
- 15:37man, because it got a load. Okay, Well the real other
- 15:41stuff that is disturbing is what he said to her in text message for him
- 15:46was more like whoa, that's her abuser? Yeah yeah yeah, But he
- 15:52said during text message for him pretty much like yo, this man's an abusic.
- 15:56Because he said, don't go to the hospital, say or you don't
- 16:00know what's going to happen, You like you can't protect me. It was
- 16:04giving, It was giving gas lighting, it was giving victim lem me,
- 16:08it was giving abuse city like, it was giving all of that, and
- 16:12I did not like, here it is okay, we're doing right now.
- 16:18Period, This is a period. Do you understand that? Do you really
- 16:23go this? Do you really then? How dare you come home drunk and
- 16:27disturb the piece of our house when we have a plan. I would like
- 16:36to get you the point where your friends know what job I'm on and go.
- 16:41I think Grace's gonna be that admission, but I mean, yeah,
- 16:45I won't like do you understand that? Because because that team that us right,
- 16:52Grace has to be a certain mindset. This appoint Corren Scott came as
- 16:56Marl the King's wife Michelle o breck Obama's life. He had the teller.
- 17:03Let me, let me, let me was real quick. But I want
- 17:08to say, I find it hilarious, the audacity and the bla cassidy you
- 17:17have the jade is white woman number one. But then turn around you need
- 17:22to be like Michelle obamacredits. It's like, I fucking love it and I
- 17:26want to slap him in the nigga on that on that note of loving it
- 17:30and slapping him in the face. The video of him fixing Shorty's hair and
- 17:34then staring at the camera after he did it with a smirk on his face,
- 17:41and slap him in the same time. Let me finish. I shouldn't
- 17:45have gone out. Let me just play it out for you, right if
- 17:49I am, I'm just gonna say this my temper, my ship, my
- 17:55blah, all that, all that said, right, and Lena say,
- 17:57I'm a great man, a great man. That's Atticus things not just for
- 18:07me, but for my for my culture, is for the world. That
- 18:11is actually the position I'm in. That's real. I'm not being to think
- 18:14about it. I didn't ask for it. I've worked and that's a situation.
- 18:19The woman that supports me that I support the work that needs to be
- 18:26a great woman and makes sacrifices the way that man is making for her and
- 18:30for them. Ultimately, last night, two nights ago, we did not
- 18:34do that. He did not do that, which which took away from the
- 18:41plan, and the plan is everything. If it was just you and the
- 18:47house drunk, maybe that could swallow that. Or or I was like,
- 18:52mab, let's go bed, it's almost done, it's almost done. Why
- 18:57she was drunk? What else she was called by? Whatever was going on?
- 19:03Fun, I can take that fine, okay? Uh I got questions.
- 19:11Yeah, first of all, like I do have to say, why
- 19:14is she taping this facts? Okay, I did ask that quick. I
- 19:17said, oh, that's interesting. But also she expressed that this is this
- 19:22has been a history, right, so she's doing this to protect herself.
- 19:25She's like this, nigga's crazy. Now she didn't say nigga, but you
- 19:29understand what I'm saying. Like I that was the hopp in my head.
- 19:33But then I was like, well, if you are dealing with someone who's
- 19:36a serial abuser, you're gonna do shit like this eventually. To make sure
- 19:40that, especially someone who's gas signing you, you probably siting it, like,
- 19:42let me make sure I record this so that when a nigga say I'm
- 19:45lying in two seconds, that I can record it back and read it.
- 19:48You don't understand, listen to it back and make sure that I'm not crazy.
- 19:52So I just said, whatever you do what you need to do.
- 19:53But and again, I'm not even I'm not even this. This this case
- 19:59is so ridiculous. Okay. At the end of the day, I'm going
- 20:03to support the people who are going through the abuse. Okay, you guys
- 20:06to prove to me, and you had not doing a good job of how
- 20:11you did not fucking do this to this person, whether or not all this
- 20:17other stuff about what she did and what she started. I don't listen,
- 20:21it's all out. It's all crazy, right. All I know is this
- 20:25man is out of control based on the bid that I got. I mean,
- 20:32yeah, okay, first of all, I will say, like whether
- 20:34or not she was, you know, right or wrong recording it like you
- 20:40said, as a serial abuser that he might be allegedly might be. I
- 20:45probably recorded to I was abusedious, serially abused, and you're gonna do it
- 20:52right probably, And that being said, what he is saying, it's,
- 21:00like I said, just ludicrous. It's like he must be short, right,
- 21:03he can't like he I don't know you. Yeah, it's something going
- 21:08on because it's like there's a complex here where like like you said, you
- 21:12don't have to say that. Wow, not six for the eleven, No,
- 21:17five for the eleven? Maybe yeah, yeah you know seven feet no
- 21:22six okay six? Yeah. I've never met Matrix, right, No,
- 21:26we never met him. We never met him. No, no, No,
- 21:30here's the thing that pisses me off because it's just like I've always said
- 21:33how much I felt he was a brilliant actor, and like you know,
- 21:37and we saw it in Loki and all this other stuff, and I'm listening
- 21:40to this like what like what who is this? And yes, it's just
- 21:45like you don't one thing people have to understand when it comes to like people
- 21:49who are famous all this stuff. Sometimes you have this you build this false
- 21:55sense of who this person is. Yes I'm not saying that you think that
- 21:56they're their characters. You just have this sense of this person must be good
- 22:00because they do something I enjoy. And when you here and watch and see
- 22:04and experience the bullshit, the comment of dissonance is just like whoa right,
- 22:11and and and again and That's why I'm just like, when I saw these
- 22:15responses in the thread from people will be like, oh, he ain't saying
- 22:18nothing wrong, I'm like, are y'all fucking serious right now? Again,
- 22:22No, I don't think he said anything wrong. I just think what he
- 22:25said is ludicrous. The fact that you think you're a great man doing things
- 22:29for the culture, it's ludicrous. That's what I think. I do not
- 22:32think that there's anything wrong. I just think it's ludicrous. There's nothing wrong
- 22:34with telling a white woman. Seriously, and I'm not fucking playing right now.
- 22:38This is there's nothing wrong with telling a white woman they need to be
- 22:41more like Michelle Obama and credit Hasking. I'm all for that shit. That's
- 22:44nothing wrong with that. I don't think that's the wrong part of it.
- 22:51No, I no, no, no, no, I don't think there's
- 22:52no problem with that. Those are stand up women. Okay, there are
- 22:56a black women. You want to tell your white girlfriend that, and so
- 22:59fucking be it be more like you know, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, he couldn't
- 23:07even find those stand up white women. For listen, I think her Oh
- 23:17no, you know, so, I mean, listen, we say all
- 23:21this the whole reason why we even bringing all this up is like just going
- 23:23back to Yo is an alpha king right, like the way the low key
- 23:29writers wrote this. God damn he out of her family is out of you,
- 23:33out pat out of the paint. They said they're rewriting that movie.
- 23:37They are rewriting everything. Fami, there is no more king movie. It's
- 23:44out of here. Oof. I need to buy that figure. It's gonna
- 23:53be worth some money. Just saying I mean, not even that. It's
- 23:56just I wanted, you know, for posterity. Could have been uh not
- 24:06chaotic ramblers saying, be more like Lucille Ball. I mean, I mean,
- 24:14you know, Lucille Ball is a fucking g fan Mary Tyler Moore.
- 24:18There's another one, you know what I mean, Be like it's been a
- 24:23long time, all the time white women like that. We ain't got the
- 24:30current models, ain't it. Damn? Okay, I can't say Paris Hilton
- 24:34was no ship like that. Yeah, Adele, be more like Adele.
- 24:41I mean there you go, you know, supporting her black man, Why
- 24:48say that? Be more like adel your sister in arms. Yeah. I
- 24:52saw her at the game the other night, rocking. Uh Rich Paul's like,
- 24:59you know what what change the sweat game on the sweat suit, Rich
- 25:03Paul? Yeah whatever his you know brand is had that ship on like she
- 25:08should. You should yep, yep, shining to looking good boy. Shoot
- 25:15shout out to Rich Paul. This hang it up flat screen? Uh to
- 25:25Ages. I mean, at least when it comes to King Man for everything,
- 25:29they already dunned off his big movie magazine Dreams got dunned off. Yeah,
- 25:33but you know what, because of the way Hollywood works, I just
- 25:36don't think this is done for him, honestly, No, not for black
- 25:38men. It don't work like that for black pop. Think so it's a
- 25:41rap. Oh so that that Shakespeare and training got shipped to do with nothing.
- 25:47He's out of here. I'm a classical you know. It's like you're
- 25:49a negro. You're done. You're classically out of here. Niggas what you
- 25:52are, You're classically fired? Right, you know how that works? Right?
- 25:57We even brought a PiZZ slip. Damn you made it real classic on
- 26:03sights Man whatever. Yeah you get home. Yeah, I mean it's just
- 26:11like like again, And like I said, maybe this stuff, maybe this
- 26:15stuff has been trickling out, but it all came ahead today. Because it
- 26:18was back to back audio came out today. Everything in my fucking timeline dropped
- 26:23today. Okay, today was fucking launch day for the end of this nigga
- 26:27right now, So I ain't got that man's it was. It was nice,
- 26:34but it lasted. I mean since last Black Man in San Francisco,
- 26:38I was a fan and this was not the arc I saw. I mean,
- 26:47you know, not to use to play our phrase, but I damn
- 26:49sure didn't have this on my being no car. Making good there though,
- 26:56Making good is pick up, there is pick up the pieces. What's that
- 26:57about? Oh, it's looking more and more like a bad move for making
- 27:06like she going out with just saying I get more and more confused every day,
- 27:11like about that that's neither here nor there. But no, I make
- 27:15a good be with this man, like what I'm just look, Hollywood is
- 27:22manufacturing, you know we know that. Yeah, And so making good is
- 27:26that level of actress where she was like, Okay, she's I'll play the
- 27:30role. Yes, you know I can play the role. Now it's looking
- 27:34like a bad choice like Shazam. M hm hmm. I mean she got
- 27:40two movies out of Shazam. I don't know if this don't bring any Moore.
- 27:41My thing is you're making money. But she's also on Horror? Is
- 27:45she on Harlem? Was she? Yeah? Right, she better be on
- 27:48something right now. I want to say she's on Harlem. That be on.
- 27:52It's on Amazon and it and it did get renewed, so okay,
- 27:56yeah, so that's good, you know, And that's a good promotion for
- 28:00Harlem right now. See we got talking about it. I'm actually like the
- 28:03show too, so well, there you go, there you go. All
- 28:08right now people are talking about this video of Johnathan Major's being chased down the
- 28:12street in this I have not seen it all you ever. You know that
- 28:19episode of Atlanta with that lady was in that wheelchair, the motorized steady chasing
- 28:26man and literally throughout the whole forty five minute episodes or whatever, it was,
- 28:32as slow as she was going, she was still catching up with him.
- 28:34That was the video of Grace chasing Jonathan Majors. Dead ass, because
- 28:41that man was fucking ussin boat sprinting sprint. I am not better. I
- 28:48mean you think I'm like being like he was sprinting full fucking speed down the
- 28:55fucking avenue and Homegirl is coming after him like terminated too. But she's not
- 29:00even going that fast. A small term of what I'm trying to say,
- 29:06like imagine like a slow terminator that just don't stop. Well, that was
- 29:11the first terminator. He was pretty slow. No, So that's why I
- 29:14said T to my nigga. Likes yeah, T that niggas booking that nigga.
- 29:18But imagine that nigga speed walking. Yeah, okay, like that just
- 29:23speed walking after that ass forever. Now see, there's more to this story
- 29:27then, because why is she coming after him like terminator too? And like
- 29:30you said, this man six foot and built. We've seen her, she
- 29:33frail, So why is he running? Why are you running? Why are
- 29:41you running? You know she might have the you know, the knife on
- 29:45him. You know, she might have been ready to ju got the blicky
- 29:47Grace Grace Labari got the blicky a legend allegedly let me say, please before
- 29:56y'all put us on allegedly allegedly you know, please put us on TMC.
- 30:00Yeah, she was definitely ready to cut this man up quick fast. Listen
- 30:07and for those listening people who are popping into the twitch, we are very
- 30:12unseerious about all of this. So don't come to us for some like hard
- 30:17hitting journalism about this whole John the major situation. We're gonna give it our
- 30:21opinion and we're gonna get these jokes off. So just just that for why.
- 30:23I also do say though that you know, on my hard hitting journalism
- 30:27side, that this man's out of control, wild, like you know,
- 30:32I do say that, and he's ludicrous. Like I said, I don't
- 30:34think he's wrong, but hard hitting journalism does not say he's wrong, but
- 30:37it does say that he is completely ludicrous and out of control and sadly should
- 30:44be removed. As I mean, you didn't see the video that. I
- 30:47mean, I'm gonna watch that one of our trailers today. Yeah, I
- 30:49know, I wish I downloaded it. We could have watched that too,
- 30:52but I gotta put music to it though. Yeah, I don't want to
- 30:56say that. You know, he should be removed as cane because Hollywood in
- 31:00general is filled with socio paths. Yes, so to remove this one social
- 31:04path it's kind of wild, you know, but it's trying to happen because
- 31:11he's a black man. Last black Man on Seventh Avenue. Wow, Wow,
- 31:18put that jazzmine they had in that movie to that. That would be
- 31:21great. Let's is that all the random things that came out today about him
- 31:30or this week for you? I think so. I think that's everything about
- 31:33Majors that came out today as far as I know, And that his and
- 31:40that his council is so weird, like yeah, like I'm just like,
- 31:44are you? Are you? I don't even want to say the word,
- 31:45but I'm just gonna leave that alone. Like everything about this case has been
- 31:48pretty wild. Everything is just weird. It doesn't make no goddamn sense.
- 31:52Like the prosecution's wiling, the defense is wiling. I don't know about the
- 31:56judge, but everybody else has been wilding. Jonathan May Jesus obviously Wilent.
- 32:00I saw a picture of him showing up because this wasn't the same outfit when
- 32:04he was fitching Megan's hair. But I saw him show up with the black
- 32:07beret and all black outfit on, like he went the Panthers, Like,
- 32:12oh, that's why he was doing his best French girl. Usually he'd be
- 32:16having that paperboy hat on, stopping crime and stopping arguments between teenage girls.
- 32:22So what not? What's her name in Paris at all? Emily in Paris,
- 32:30Jonathan in Paris. Oh oh, that's another that's another little antidote.
- 32:37One of my friends actually met him in the streets of New York, not
- 32:40Ago. I don't know what was happenings, bro, I don't know how
- 32:49they crossed paths, but they took a picture with him, and Jonathan said
- 32:55wicked. And I'm just like, he's so weird, so weird. I
- 33:00mean, I might say wicked and and two thousand in the Year of Our
- 33:05Lord twenty and twenty five, if the Majors, I'm definitely saying wicked.
- 33:08Just man, this is weird. You gotta keep the legend going at this
- 33:13point, you know what I mean. You got to feed into It's like
- 33:15Bill Murray. You know, Bill Murray just a wild boy wherever he shows
- 33:17up, because the people expending to be a wild boy. So you know,
- 33:21John the Major was said to be a weirdo. He's weird, and
- 33:22I was okay with him being a weirdo when it came to like acting,
- 33:25But like all this other stuff is a bridge too far from me. I
- 33:29remember when I met what's his name, who was an ant man. He
- 33:31was a small role in an Man of these Great after he plays the cop
- 33:37who marries ant Man's ex, and he was also in Boardwalk Empire. He's
- 33:44been in a lot of stuff. He's a great after. He got a
- 33:45new movie coming out right now, Tastic Active. But my man, Yeah,
- 33:49I can't remember his name at all from nothing, but I met him
- 33:52in the street and I remember when we were talking. He was like,
- 33:53oh, I got a roll in a man coming up and I was like,
- 33:55oh yeah, and he was like yeah, you know, he was
- 33:58right. You know, it ain't a big thing, but you know,
- 34:00it was just funny how you know, regular he was. And but he
- 34:04don't had his legend going like Jonathan Majors. Ah man the villain that I
- 34:09mean, leaning into it. Yeah, then I mean the Golden Globe Award
- 34:14nominations came out. Mm hmm. It's quite quite interesting reft of Jonathan Majors.
- 34:22It's quite interesting. But I don't see uh he with the time that
- 34:28you get in nah nah. But there is some melan any here, you
- 34:31know. Did you did you see any did you see any of this?
- 34:35Uh No? I think Spider Verse got some love and that's all. Yeah,
- 34:38I mean, have you seen so one thing? I didn't want to
- 34:39see you ever seen American Fiction starring Jeffrey Wright. No, I'm waiting to
- 34:44see that. I know. I know that's an Oscar movie, so I
- 34:46know a lot of people can see that. Is it already out? I
- 34:49didn't know if it was out yet because if it was been now it's been
- 34:52out. Oh that's the only way it has. It could be nominated,
- 34:54right oh yeah, but no, it can be released. I mean we
- 34:57are in New York, so it could be released in New York. And
- 34:59now, oh well I've seen it available, so fine. But it's one
- 35:04of the nominees for Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, as is Air.
- 35:09You know that Michael Jordan film where violidation as okay, well, the one
- 35:15where she violdavids place is Mother. I mean, I won't say ass,
- 35:19but it was you know, like it was yeah whatever, it was like
- 35:23it was there. You know, it is not like VIOLDA. Davis is
- 35:27great, I mean obviously, but yeah that movie was like whatever. And
- 35:30I love you know, a good sports movie like that or a good like
- 35:35true story, you know, happy movies. Whatever. Okay, we why
- 35:38I didn't miss anything? According to you, Best most Picture Animated. One
- 35:44of my favorite categories I love ninety percent of this list. Nominated are The
- 35:50Boy and the Heron Hyo Miyazaki film Big Big Hio Legend, Big Legend.
- 35:55Elemental Elemental Elementar was actually really good. I don't know if I feel like
- 36:00not enough people seen it and it's it hasn't gotten it. Just do It's
- 36:05actually extremely well done. The animation is really good, Like it's fun.
- 36:09It's typical Pixar. There we go. Yeah, it's a typical Star to
- 36:15what you're trying to say, but as typical Pixtar to the fact that I
- 36:17enjoyed it, Like, yeah, I get it. Have you saw it?
- 36:22No, I want to see it. But at the same time,
- 36:23when there are themes like Spider Verse, when there are things like put some
- 36:27boots that taking another level Whens like Pneumona, it's just it's pointless, you
- 36:32know, it's Likenemona's on a different level, as is Spider Man, Like
- 36:37those are on different when it comes to like stories told through animation, it's
- 36:45it's just a different way of this but anyway, but but it's still good.
- 36:50I still like the Elemental. As we mentioned, Spider Man Across the
- 36:52Spider Verse is nominated and I apologize if I'm pronouncing this wrong. To Zuomi,
- 36:58That's got nominated. The Super Mario Brothers movie got nominated Jesus Christ,
- 37:02which I know you don't even care for. I loved it and that was
- 37:07But one thing I didn't understand was like that song Peaches got also got nominated
- 37:13for a song, and I'm like, like, it was funny in the
- 37:15moment, but to be nominated, like, I don't know. I told
- 37:21you I like ninety percent of the list. The one I really don't agree
- 37:23with, like almost vehemently disagree with, is Wish. Disney's Wish got nominated.
- 37:29I saw that and did not, like a hard disagree with. Brothers
- 37:36did not Wish, and I believe it that did not like but Super Mario
- 37:39Brothers, for some ass, it was not asked commercial. Yes, so
- 37:46fuck you want, That's what And that's what I'm saying, like people as
- 37:49that's all. That's literally the only defense people have about saying that, ohs
- 37:53commercial. Nintendo is commercial. Nintendo is capitalistic at its core, is its
- 38:00own ip. And until people fucking realize that and get over it, you're
- 38:05always gonna be like, yes, I'm not gonna get over to you expect
- 38:12because I, well, okay, it was still good and but so my
- 38:15thing is commercial or not? Are you saying that you had no enjoyment?
- 38:17Not really, I thought the story was asked. I thought it was like
- 38:21a bunch of commercial I thought it had I don't think Chris Pratt, obviously
- 38:27is a good Mario. I don't think any of it was like it was
- 38:30nonsensical. Points at the end of it, the mushroom Kingdom, Bowser invades
- 38:36Brooklyn and it should be death and horror, and it's just like playing It's
- 38:40like, hell, whatever, it's just a it was a built horror.
- 38:45What are you talking about? I mean, Bowser invaded Brooklyn. People are
- 38:47taking Mason Els. This nigga landed this shit in the middle of Brooklyn.
- 38:51Like it's a zooms Day scenario for Brooklyn. M sixty four, Well,
- 38:57better graphic than that, but it's like sixty four Mario, what do you
- 39:00expect? It's still Bowser but whatever, it's No, it's just no low
- 39:04Worthy fuck though it's it's a bad animated movie. Yeah, I don't know
- 39:07if it's well. I went, well, I don't agree with you saying
- 39:09bad, but I don't know if it's I don't. I wouldn't. I
- 39:13would personally would not put it at Golden Globe lebble. Like when there are
- 39:15things like Namona and the Mona doesn't get nominated, then that's it's completely disrespectful.
- 39:20It's like, no, this movie was a ninety minute should have been
- 39:22up there. And back to the idea of it being commercial ship, that
- 39:25doesn't mean you can't fucking tell a story in this movie isn't tell a story.
- 39:29It's not good. It's not something you were going to be watched like
- 39:31oh yeah, like the Lego movie was something with it took a commercial product
- 39:36and told us great story. That's you been. I mean I enjoyed this
- 39:40commercial. Yes, I'm gonna be watching the Mario movie if I was had
- 39:44nothing else to do. If you're about to say, if you were forced
- 39:47no, no, not about no. If it was on I was,
- 39:51I would watch it you immediately. But no, no, Mona should have
- 39:55been up here. No Mona could have took us either the Mario brother slot
- 39:59or the Wish. But like I said, I don't agree with how and
- 40:04vitual, all the vitual you have against Mario brothers, but I will I
- 40:07will agree that it shouldn't probably not be on this list. Neither should wish.
- 40:12Definitely not wish. Oh my god. If you want to talk about
- 40:15ass uh, cinematic in box office achievement, that's a category. Okay.
- 40:23I guess who made the most fucking money? Literally, so they got Barbie,
- 40:30Guardians of the Galaxy Volume three, Love john Wick, Chapter four,
- 40:34Interesting, Mission Impossible Directing Part one, Love Slash Interesting. Oppenheimer didn't see
- 40:40it? Did you probably won't see it, Spider Man, of course,
- 40:45yes, Taylor Swift whatever. The Super Mario Brothers movie. Okay, money
- 40:53the money because it says it's a cinematic and box office achievement, which who
- 40:59got the guap? That's and this this looks right. Those look correct to
- 41:01me. So I ain't got no problem with that. I got every problem
- 41:07time Mario is mentioned on her Well, they got like tree for nominations,
- 41:13respectful, every single one of them. How do you take about somebody else?
- 41:19I don't know. I'm just scrolling really fast, especially I'm trying to
- 41:23like stop where I see like melonin or people of color. Uh, I'm
- 41:29scrolling. Uh. Best okay, Best performance by a Female Actor in a
- 41:31Motion Picture Drama. We do have Greta Lee from Past Lives. Everybody else,
- 41:37as far as I can see, is of the Caucasian persuasion. Shout
- 41:39out to Anette Benning, though she's a legend. It's a lot of other
- 41:45people here. Oh, this is the one I was happy about. Best
- 41:49performance by a male actor in the motion picture drama Coleman Domingo for Rusting.
- 41:53He up there. I've been watching that. I gotta finish it. He's
- 41:58great, I mean Domingo. Coleman's fabulous. Coleman's fabulous. You know.
- 42:04Yeah, he's up against Leo DiCaprio for Killers of the Flower Moon, Cillian
- 42:09Murphy Oppenheimer, Brad Cooper from Maestro, Berry Keegan for saltburn I don't know
- 42:15if you've seen you talk about Saltburne. I don't know if you've seen that
- 42:19crazy scene that has been on Twitter. But uh, and Andrew Scott,
- 42:24all of us strangers. I don't know what you're thinking. I was thinking
- 42:30because as a new convert of the bear, is it on there? The
- 42:34bear is on here? Both from both Ioada Berry and her counterpart are on
- 42:40here. I'm sorry that I'm Jeremy. Jeremy right, Jeremy something something uh
- 42:45for cousin Richie and I gotta find it. How the fuck was on the
- 42:54show the Bears sister nominated but not somebody else? No, no, no,
- 43:00no, no, I know the woman who paid his sister. I
- 43:02mean who else instead? I don't know. I don't know. Because Facts
- 43:09should be nominated. Everyone on that show should be nominated. That's the problem.
- 43:13It's so good. Yeah, that's the problem. Like, I wouldn't
- 43:15not the system for being nominated because she's fucking great, you know, so
- 43:19I would yeah, like she's it's just oh man, she's great. And
- 43:22that the scene with Richie when Richie comes into apologize, like she's she's I
- 43:28love her too. So her interaction with facts everything, you know, her
- 43:31interaction with facts is like the greatest you know, untold love story. No,
- 43:36she's fucking great. She's a part of it. You know. I
- 43:38would have gone, they're all a part of it. Yeah, that's the
- 43:42problem, you know, that's the problem. I would give them all,
- 43:45Richie, do deserve forks? The episode forks for Richie Stodges is. I've
- 43:52watched it twice now, Ebon eban or ebon backrop. Oh my god,
- 43:57that episode, and he's on and Or for an arc, and he was
- 44:00incredible and and Ord. That's when I fell in love with him as an
- 44:02actor. I know, I've seen him in some other stuff, but he's
- 44:06so good in and Or and so coming into it, he's such a different
- 44:08character as Richie that it took me a second to accept him, even though
- 44:12you're not supposed to accept him because on and Or he's an ass and so
- 44:15it's like, yeah, I was like, fuck this nigga from the gate,
- 44:19you know. But then by now, like I said, the episode
- 44:22was Stodges were at the restaurant, is like, it's so beautifully also bear
- 44:27not only the writing, the acting, the directing. Yeah, fucking vicious,
- 44:31Yo, there's zoom shots there is on the second season there's like one
- 44:36episode, what fucking episode that where I was sitting there like, what is
- 44:39this all? The episode where Man's ghost is Sweden or whatever? The fuck?
- 44:44Oh? Yeah, oh good, my god, the way that looks
- 44:47Yeah, so good, so good. The first season they have a one
- 44:51shot episode where it's nineteen minutes of one shot, which is it's mind blowing.
- 44:55So that show is, you know, I'm late to the party,
- 44:59but I'm now fully converted. I've got fuck I only have one episode left.
- 45:02Yeah, it's incredible, so good keep going on this list best reforms
- 45:07by a female actor the most in picture shout out to Fantasia but Reno for
- 45:12the color purple. I'm looking forward to seeing that. Uh. She goes
- 45:15up against the Jennifer Lawrence, Margot Robbie, Natalie Portman, Emma Stone,
- 45:22and Alma Poisty or PEASTI I don't know how to pronounce her last name.
- 45:27It's the old the two dots. Somebody explain to me how to pronounce that.
- 45:30But yeah, any thoughts about that? You don't you like Emma Stone?
- 45:37Yeah? I do. What she nominated for poor things. I've heard
- 45:42good things about that. I'm not going to chat that I like Emma.
- 45:45I like him in anything pretty much. M never. Let's see we talked
- 45:52about a couple of these other people already A woquin Phoenix got one down?
- 45:55Okay, did you care? Was afraid? Oh wow, I've heard about
- 46:04that. But yeah, that's another one. That's the thing. One to
- 46:07go to globes with the doctors. There's always a bunch of movie that usually
- 46:08I see after the fat I remember a couple of years. I tried ago.
- 46:13I tried to check out like all the movies that were nominated beforehand,
- 46:16and I found a lot of them kind of disappointing. So I was like,
- 46:19I'm not doing this again, and now I'll just check out the ones
- 46:22that I really, you know, want to see or hear about. So
- 46:24yeah, Best reforms by a female actor and a supporting role. Shout out
- 46:30to Danielle Brooks for The Color Purple, Divine Joy Randolph for the Holdovers.
- 46:35Uh. There's also Emily Bunt, Jody Foster, Julianne Moore, and Rosamund
- 46:39Pike. Yeap Like Reim Niggas was ranting about what's the banshees of Ischeran or
- 46:45whatever? Man, I turned that mess off like halfway through it. Man,
- 46:52for people who seen it, there's you know, it takes a dark
- 46:54ass turn. I turned it off and went to Wikipedia and it just got
- 46:59darker from there, and I was like, I'm good, Damn. I
- 47:01did not expect that that shit is so down damn dark. This is the
- 47:05question I have when I when it comes to nominations. Right, So,
- 47:08the best original song. There is a movie that has three songs, there
- 47:14are what one, two, three, four, five, six, there's
- 47:15six lots and one movie takes up. Three of those sides were movie why
- 47:20why? Well, first, why is that acceptable? Is Taylor swifth No,
- 47:24But just answer the question, like why is that okay? I don't
- 47:28want to know a movie. Do you think knowing the movie is gonna change
- 47:31how you? I want to know, but I want to know what you
- 47:34think. Before it was a Prince movie out, I'd be like all the
- 47:37slots it was Barbie disrespect by God, Damn, I can't remember one song
- 47:47from that movie like Barbie. I me. I enjoyed Barbie too, and
- 47:52I just cannot remember one song from that Barbie was okay for me. I
- 47:54gave it like a c damn. I liked I liked the way it looked.
- 48:01I liked, you know, the tongue of cheeks stuff. You know.
- 48:05I talked with Will Ferrell heavy I Will far could just stand there and
- 48:08I've just entertained just overall, just thought it was it was alright. I
- 48:14you know, honestly, the first time I saw that joint, I thought
- 48:16it was like kind of ass and then like people made me see it in
- 48:20a different light. And so I'm I'm you know the fact that you gave
- 48:23it a see. I think we talked about this war a fair maybe,
- 48:27I mean again, And I didn't miss anything. I didn't miss any of
- 48:30the Like when I say missed, I mean like I got everything I was
- 48:34trying to. I got it communicated. I just was like, all right,
- 48:37cool. Next, so three out of the six lots they got for
- 48:43Best Original Song. And then I told you earlier that you're gonna get mad,
- 48:46but Mario Brothers movie got it for Peaches, just Peaches Peaches, right,
- 48:53And then the only other two that are actually maybe of more Salt wrote
- 48:58to Freedom for Rustin Kravitz actually, and then for the movie she came to
- 49:04me the title song She came to me by Bruce Springsteen. Yeah, all
- 49:08right, yeah, I think we gave that enough time. Yeah yeah,
- 49:14I think with that we're gonna take a quick break, you know what I
- 49:16mean, And you know we'll be right back with more from the show. YEP
