Hi guys, it's Megan with Vigilante vibes and I'm here to
• 0:18
talk to you about the Fantastic Four First Steps.
• 0:20
What do you need to watch? What do you need to read?
• 0:22
Let's go through it all. Since Fantastic Four First Steps
• 0:26
will be in a new universe, it'll be in Universe 828, which is a
• 0:30
reference to Jack Kirby. Because that is his birthday,
• 0:33
August. 28th, So you don't need to watch anything honestly.
• 0:39
Go into the movie with absolutely no expectations.
• 0:42
Just enjoy yourself there. You don't need any previous MCU
• 0:45
knowledge at all. But if you want to do extra
• 0:48
credit, I guess you can watch the previous Fantastic Four
• 0:51
movies, Fantastic Four, number one, Fantastic Four, Rise of
• 0:53
Silver Surfer. I will not recommend watching
• 0:57
2015's Fantastic Four because I don't want to do that to you.
• 1:00
I care about you guys, but other than that you could.
• 1:04
Also check. Out Marvel's YouTube channel
• 1:06
that has the entire history of the Fantastic Four.
• 1:11
  I think it's like a 90 minute video.
• 1:13
I I watched like half of it. It's pretty good.
• 1:15
It's not bad, It's not bad. But yeah, that's what you could
• 1:20
watch to read for comics. You can check out Fantastic Four
• 1:24
Number one, which is where we first get introduced to the
• 1:27
Fantastic Four, which is Sue, Reed, Ben and Johnny.
• 1:30
We also get introduced to Mole Man and his underground army.
• 1:35
You could do Fantastic Four number 48, which begins the
• 1:39
coming of Galactus. And this is when the Fantastic
• 1:42
Four first meet Silver Surfer, which was Norn Rad Fantastic
• 1:47
Four number 49. This is when Galactus arrives.
• 1:50
He threatens Earth and planetary destruction as he usually does.
• 1:53
But this is also when the Silver Surfer starts to question his
• 1:57
loyalty to what MO from blurred Force One calls Throat goat.
• 2:03
Also go check out MO at blow Blurred Force One because he is
• 2:07
phenomenal. The next one, Fantastic Four
• 2:11
number 50, it's climatic showdown the Fantastic Four
• 2:14
aided by the Silver Surfer, save Earth from Galactus.
• 2:18
Fantastic Four life story. If you haven't checked out the
• 2:21
life story comics, you absolutely should.
• 2:22
My favorite one is Spider Man life story.
• 2:24
This is like a reimagining of the Fantastic Four and it places
• 2:28
them in the 60s. I think it's a lot of social
• 2:32
change going on and the looming of the Cold War, so definitely
• 2:36
check that out. And then you have Silver Surfer
• 2:40
number one through 3. It's like from 1968.
• 2:43
It's when Mephisto WS as he targets the Silver Surfer spirit
• 2:46
and uses Shala Ball as a pawn in his cruel schemes.
• 2:50
So Shala Ball will be the Silver Surfer that is in the Fantastic
• 2:54
Four first steps. So you want to check her out?
• 2:57
You can check out Fantastic Four numbers 155 to 157.
• 3:02
Doctor Doom brainwashes Shala Ball in a bid to steal the Power
• 3:06
Cosmic. It's it's nice Silver Surfer.
• 3:11
The enslavers. Shala Ball's leadership on Zen
• 3:14
Law takes center stage as the Silver Surfer faces a galactic
• 3:17
threat that forces him to reconsider his ties to his home
• 3:20
planet and lost love. The next one, Fantastic Four
• 3:24
number 261 to 262, Shalaba reappears as the ruler of Zen
• 3:29
Law, confronting the Silver Surfer in a tale of love, duty,
• 3:32
and the enduring cost of their shared past.
• 3:35
Also, another one I would say check out is Earth XI.
• 3:39
Don't want to give anything away about it because I do think
• 3:42
they're pulling really heavily from Earth X.
• 3:44
But you just just read it. I'm telling you, just read it.
• 3:49
So now that you have all of those things, spend the next few
• 3:54
days reading. It's all on Marvel Unlimited.
• 3:56
Why not? I mean, what else do we have
• 3:58
going on? But this is the week of
• 4:01
Fantastic Four first up. So when you see the movie, I
• 4:04
want you guys to tell me what you thought about it.
• 4:06
I will be posting my review as soon as I get home from the
• 4:08
theater. So no notes, no nothing, just
• 4:11
  vibes. So.
• 4:13
With that. Being said, make sure you like
• 4:15
and subscribe so you don't miss any of more of the content I put
• 4:17
out and have a marvelous day.
