Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Simone show continues, well, Jimmy Fayla, the great talk show host,
- 0:07Speaker 1: a great comedian. He's on every night here on w
- 0:11Speaker 1: o R nine to midnight. Excellent show nine to midnight.
- 0:14Speaker 1: And you also want to watch his late night show.
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's the best one in television every Saturday night. There's
- 0:19Speaker 1: no better monologue anywhere in television. And even President Trump
- 0:24Speaker 1: has come out and said so, he's a huge fan.
- 0:26Speaker 1: It's Saturday nights at ten on the Fox News Channel.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Jimmy Fayla, How you doing good?
- 0:33Speaker 2: Thank you for that Trump plug. You know what dawned
- 0:35Speaker 2: on me though, Mark, it's you know, Trump tweeting about
- 0:38Speaker 2: your show and saying it's good is a great thing
- 0:41Speaker 2: until you realize you're a joke away from him tweeting
- 0:44Speaker 2: about your show a second time. But I'll say heale
- 0:49Speaker 2: the cab driver Jimmy Saylor.
- 0:53Speaker 1: But also it makes you nervous right now. You know
- 0:55Speaker 1: he's watching every week. Now you got to think about that.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Oh no, I like it. Comedy is the great. It's
- 1:00Speaker 2: a great thing. I didn't stand up when he was
- 1:01Speaker 2: at the Patriot Awards. And the magic trick of comedy
- 1:06Speaker 2: is you don't read the room. You have to lead
- 1:07Speaker 2: the room. Somebody hands you a microphone, you have to
- 1:10Speaker 2: be so in charge. It's like, do you want a
- 1:12Speaker 2: guy's robbing a bank and he fires a shot into
- 1:14Speaker 2: the ceiling to get everybody's attention. That's kind of how
- 1:17Speaker 2: you do comedy when you've got like a really powerful audience,
- 1:21Speaker 2: because if you don't have the whole bank's attention, you
- 1:24Speaker 2: ain't getting out of there with the money man. Yeah,
- 1:26Speaker 2: that's that. Do work.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Explain that again, so you don't read the room. Don't
- 1:29Speaker 1: worry about what the lead through room? How do you
- 1:31Speaker 1: lead the room?
- 1:32Speaker 2: Yes, comedy, that is the thing you Yes, when you
- 1:35Speaker 2: are a comic. Okay, you control the conversation, the tone,
- 1:40Speaker 2: the tenor the entire vibe in the room, because you're
- 1:43Speaker 2: the only guy with a microphone. Like the room is
- 1:46Speaker 2: silent and they're listening to what you have to say.
- 1:48Speaker 2: So you lead the room. What I mean by that
- 1:50Speaker 2: is get the room to the energy you want it
- 1:53Speaker 2: to be and for your jokes to work. Make sure
- 1:54Speaker 2: they know you're bargaining with them in good faith. You know,
- 1:57Speaker 2: you want to be pleasant, you want to be upbeat.
- 2:00Speaker 2: But the thing is, every joke needs to come with perspective,
- 2:02Speaker 2: because that's what makes it okay. When comics get in trouble,
- 2:06Speaker 2: it's because they look malicious or they don't, you know,
- 2:10Speaker 2: they look like they're saying something for purposes other than laughter.
- 2:15Speaker 2: You know, that's the biggest knock them, like a Kimmel
- 2:17Speaker 2: or a Colbert, is they're doing. They're making editorial statements,
- 2:21Speaker 2: and that's why it's not working. Okay, you don't come
- 2:24Speaker 2: to the comedy show to get a condescending lecture from
- 2:27Speaker 2: that liberal and who ruins Thanksgiving. But that's what Colbert
- 2:31Speaker 2: is every night, even last night with the ice stuff.
- 2:33Speaker 2: It's you know, so is my job of the comic
- 2:36Speaker 2: is to lead them to this like feel good place
- 2:38Speaker 2: where they don't have to agree with me to laugh
- 2:40Speaker 2: because I'm not saying anything other than this is what happened.
- 2:44Speaker 2: This is why it's funny. That's it.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Yeah. You know you watch don Rickolson once in a while,
- 2:49Speaker 1: aligned with bomb or get no laugh. He couldn't care less.
- 2:52Speaker 1: He would just crank it up ten more notches and
- 2:54Speaker 1: keep going. And so that's a good way to lead
- 2:56Speaker 1: the room. Hey, speaking of Colbert, so last night he
- 2:58Speaker 1: makes this awful joke about how the Nazis are better
- 3:02Speaker 1: than Ice. What the hell is he thinking?
- 3:05Speaker 2: Yep, but that's the point when he's editorializing about Ice,
- 3:10Speaker 2: and that's exactly why his show's getting deported on the
- 3:13Speaker 2: first The CPS has thrown it out of here because
- 3:18Speaker 2: he's again, he's what he's doing in his room, Okay,
- 3:23Speaker 2: is he's obviously catering to a very one dimensional mindset. Okay,
- 3:27Speaker 2: we all have liberal friends, good liberal friends, okay, who
- 3:31Speaker 2: like to run on like a moral superiority. They're good people,
- 3:34Speaker 2: they're your friends, you like them. I'm not disparaging them.
- 3:36Speaker 2: But he caters to a crowd of people that want
- 3:38Speaker 2: to believe they're better than everybody else. So if you say, like, oh,
- 3:41Speaker 2: Ice is worse than the Nazis and the white supremacists
- 3:45Speaker 2: who vote for Trump, that allows his audience to go, eh,
- 3:48Speaker 2: at least I'm not those people. You know, I know better,
- 3:51Speaker 2: but they don't know better. Who is I supporting? Okay,
- 3:54Speaker 2: they're going to after sex offenders, you know, they're not
- 3:56Speaker 2: trying to exterminate a race of people. Come on, man,
- 4:00Speaker 2: it's embarrassing.
- 4:01Speaker 1: So if you watch Fox News at night, like Jesse
- 4:03Speaker 1: Waters is clowning around and handity. It's all a lot
- 4:06Speaker 1: of information and seriously, but they're clowning around, they're having fun.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Then gutt filed. You watch MSNBC. This guy's angry as hell.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Then Rachel Maddo comes us, she's even madder than Lawrence
- 4:15Speaker 1: o'dnald comes out, he's twice as angry.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Who watches this kind of stuff?
- 4:18Speaker 1: Why would you want to get so riled up at night?
- 4:21Speaker 2: I know? Because it really, like MSNBC is just group
- 4:25Speaker 2: therapy with hair and makeup. It's like imagine you were
- 4:28Speaker 2: imagine you were going to a support group, but everybody
- 4:30Speaker 2: there got their face powdered beforehand. That's essentially what it is.
- 4:34Speaker 2: And that and that's who's watching it, like for real,
- 4:37Speaker 2: Like the demographic of an MSNBC viewer is usually a
- 4:42Speaker 2: white liberal, like Lawrence o'donald's age, you know, fifty sixty
- 4:46Speaker 2: plus that you know, just he was saying the other
- 4:49Speaker 2: day he Lawrence o'dnald was the one who said that
- 4:51Speaker 2: New York City plowing the streets was socialism. And I
- 4:54Speaker 2: was like, dude, the Department of Sanitation plowed the streets.
- 4:58Speaker 2: They did a phenomenal job. I dare you to go
- 5:00Speaker 2: walk into one of their garages and tell the guy
- 5:02Speaker 2: with the neck tattoo he's a socialist. I'm like, it's
- 5:05Speaker 2: not gonna end good for you, Laurence o'donald. But that's
- 5:08Speaker 2: the point. It's the confirmation bias. People are watching for
- 5:12Speaker 2: confirmation bias, and that's not comedy if they're if you're
- 5:16Speaker 2: telling them just what they want to hear, you're not
- 5:18Speaker 2: being a comedian. You're supposed to tell him jokes.
- 5:21Speaker 1: So explain Don Lemon to me. The guy doesn't even
- 5:24Speaker 1: have a job. He's out of work and he's going
- 5:25Speaker 1: to Minnesota. He's busting in the churches. What's he doing
- 5:29Speaker 1: this for?
- 5:31Speaker 2: It's the thing. So Don Lemon is obviously playing. It's
- 5:34Speaker 2: called the rage bait game. You know, you post provocative
- 5:38Speaker 2: things that'll get people mad and they'll click on your
- 5:40Speaker 2: video and be like, oh show you, and you know
- 5:43Speaker 2: you make money and you get attention. But what he's
- 5:45Speaker 2: essentially doing is just projecting all of his anger on
- 5:49Speaker 2: to the rest of the country because he's mad because
- 5:51Speaker 2: no network will hire him because he was a pain
- 5:54Speaker 2: in the ass man, Like I met him a few times.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Did you ever meet him at any of these media
- 5:57Speaker 2: mixers we go to.
- 5:58Speaker 1: No, but I met him, you know, so till he's
- 6:00Speaker 1: very nice and he's a polite and he smiles. But
- 6:03Speaker 1: I never had to work with the guy.
- 6:05Speaker 2: No. But what happened was he got to this place
- 6:08Speaker 2: where his only job was to go on TV and
- 6:11Speaker 2: tell you it was racist. And for a while there
- 6:13Speaker 2: that was like a fashionable thing. But it was so
- 6:16Speaker 2: lazy and reductive and devoid of any real context that
- 6:21Speaker 2: it made him worse at his job. Like he was
- 6:23Speaker 2: better at his job in twenty twelve than he was
- 6:25Speaker 2: two years ago or even right now, but he got
- 6:28Speaker 2: more fain the worse he got at his job. Meaning
- 6:30Speaker 2: that's racist, that's crazy, that's racist. In the grievance era
- 6:33Speaker 2: of like the outrage Bob, that made him a bigger deal,
- 6:36Speaker 2: you know, because he had more oppression points than the
- 6:39Speaker 2: other woke liberals. You know, he was black, he was gay,
- 6:42Speaker 2: so in the liberal hierarchy of grievance, like you had
- 6:45Speaker 2: to deify him, and he got away with that until
- 6:48Speaker 2: he did it, you know. And the fact that they
- 6:50Speaker 2: didn't want to work with him anymore is something that
- 6:53Speaker 2: we're getting the bill for now because he's just trying
- 6:55Speaker 2: to upset everybody on social media. He's just basically joy
- 7:00Speaker 2: read uh with a wig on. You know, I don't
- 7:02Speaker 2: know what to tell you.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Hey, elon Omar. You know that guy came up and
- 7:07Speaker 1: sprayed something all over. It looked very dangerous. But I'm
- 7:09Speaker 1: watching the whole video. You know, it's fascinating when the
- 7:11Speaker 1: guy does that and he looks like a raging maniac.
- 7:14Speaker 1: She actually charges the guy. You're pretty brave. She runs
- 7:17Speaker 1: at the guy. You have a credit for that.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I mean, you know, I don't know. They
- 7:24Speaker 2: said it was apple cider vinegar, and I guess that's
- 7:27Speaker 2: what it was. I knew it wasn't wine because her
- 7:30Speaker 2: vineyard was fake. Yeah, she's as she might get pop
- 7:34Speaker 2: for that. Yeah, But the point is, like, you know,
- 7:36Speaker 2: obviously that's another sign that everybody needs to chill out. Okay,
- 7:42Speaker 2: half of my feet is like, oh it was Fay.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Come like, all right, we're not going to do that.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Because I have liberal friends who still think Trump faked
- 7:48Speaker 2: getting shot. I'm like, well he faked it so well
- 7:50Speaker 2: he got a guy killed. I mean, come on, man,
- 7:52Speaker 2: it's crazy. Wow. So I'm trying to take the edge
- 7:55Speaker 2: off Mark Simon and that's why I hang out with
- 7:56Speaker 2: mister New York and can I mention, by the way,
- 7:59Speaker 2: because so many of your listeners come up to me
- 8:01Speaker 2: on the street and say hello on Sixth Avenue. If
- 8:03Speaker 2: anybody wants to come to my show, the tickets are free.
- 8:06Speaker 2: If you go to Fox Across America dot com. You
- 8:08Speaker 2: can go to Fox News Saturday night. You don't have
- 8:10Speaker 2: to make me tell you jokes on the sidewalk. You
- 8:13Speaker 2: can let me tell you jokes in the studio. I
- 8:16Speaker 2: have three of your listeners different three different times this week.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I was walking up to get my Greek food and hey,
- 8:21Speaker 2: say hello to mister New York. I'm like, why don't
- 8:23Speaker 2: you come to my show? So I don't have to
- 8:25Speaker 2: perform on a street corner. I left the prostitution business
- 8:28Speaker 2: years ago.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I come on, man, Jimmy Taylor has the best
- 8:30Speaker 1: late night show on television on Saturday nights ten o'clock.
- 8:33Speaker 1: You can watch it and you don't have to be
- 8:35Speaker 1: there Saturday night ten. You tape it earlier, right, so.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Yeah, we tape it up Friday nights. Come by. Oh okay,

- 8:49Speaker 2: Where do you go Fox need foxacross America dot Com.
- 8:54Speaker 2: You'll be hanging out with me in the Fox Foxes. Yeah,
- 8:57Speaker 2: if you're on a date, don't look at the Foxes.
- 8:59Speaker 2: But if you're there single, oh yeah, have some fun,
- 9:01Speaker 2: all right, good, just don't get good stuff.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Get tickets to Jimmy Faylo's TV show and make sure
- 9:06Speaker 1: you're listen to him tonight nine o'clock. What do you
- 9:08Speaker 1: got on tonight's radio show?
- 9:10Speaker 2: Oh, We're getting nuts tonight Byron Donald Azzan. He might
- 9:13Speaker 2: be the next governor of Florida. An author by the
- 9:15Speaker 2: name of Madison Malloy who's a great gal, super funny,
- 9:19Speaker 2: but she's filthy, like worse than a sailor in prison
- 9:23Speaker 2: in terms of her dialogue. So it's gonna be a
- 9:25Speaker 2: couple of beeps on the show tonight in New York.
- 9:27Speaker 2: I'm telling you in advance.
- 9:28Speaker 1: All right, Well, Jimmy Fail is on here on wor
